An absolutely wonderful place! Especially during Halloween! I grew up around this place and still love it to this day. The one issue I have with it is they should put more rides instead of parking lots. The park is moderately small if you think about it and I’d love to see an expansion with rides instead of parking lots. Lovely place overall!

Ryan McDermott

This park is great. They cost less than 6 flags and don't nickle and dime the hell out of.you like six flags either. Parking is free and closer. Water was $3 a bottle, half that of six flags. Food prices were better. Rides were just as good or better if you count how many there were for kids. The one thing six flags has that is considerably better is the waterpark. And if you want more cool adult rides Six Flags is the way to go.

Been coming to this place since I was a child, and it has only gotten better. It could be a bit more accessible to people with other than average bodies in some cases, but really, it does better than most places. I will be coming back as long as I am able to. My kids had a blast.

Sarah Leshay

Great smaller sizes family friendly park with lots of options for all ages. We have taken camp groups and school groups here in many occasions - the size is perfect for giving some independence but still being able to track everyone. Many good options.

Andrew Morris

An enjoyable day trying out different rides. It would be great if your rides were made to accommodate people of all sizes. The water area was a perfect ending of a very hot day! Stopped in for ice cream across from the Boston Tea party ride and was very impressed with the generous amount of ice cream! Friendly, helpful staff!

Arnold Bennett

Definitely a great Family place to visit. My wife and our children were there yesterday and had a great time, however when it came time to cool off at the water park it was so full there was extremely long line(at least 200 people in line) waiting to get into the water park. I would call this an epic fail on the design being wayyy to small for the anticipated volume. Made it very disappointing at the end of the day. :-(

Keith Gilchrist

Loved it! We're two grown men and we still had a fantastic time despite the family orientation of the park. The food prices were reasonable for an amusement park. Lines were generally short. Apparently everyone goes to the water park so the rest of the park is lighter. Free to park. I got a veterans discount. Overall, just a super way to spend a gorgeous Sunday in July. Highly recommend and so grateful for the fun!

Canobie is an excellent experience for all ages. The staff are very friendly and the place is kept surprisingly clean despite it being a very high traffic area. All the rides are excellent and there are options for all ages. The food is a bit pricey, very similar to a baseball game, but that's to be expected. Overall great experience!

Ira Heineman

Canobie is as great as it's always been, but if you're a parent of small kids, it may not be the place for you during its Halloween Screeemfest celebration. The creepy decorations and scenes throughout the park (including Kiddie Land where all the kids' rides are) are not appropriate for small, innocent eyes, even during the day when the park is supposedly "family friendly".

Prateek Batra

Nice place to spend a hot day in summer. Water park is really good. Though it gets crowded a lot during weekends. Lots of rides for kids and adults. Limited food options. Over all a good experience. Definitely recommend this place for visit discounted tickets are sometimes available at Costco.

Aimee Here

A fun place. Your typical amusement park with added water park section. The water park is on the smaller side and is VERY busy on the weekends so maybe plan a weekday visit. If no available life vests ask a worker, they found one for our toddler after checking each stand.

Vivek Kannan

Nice little place. A good amount of rides. Everybody working there were very friendly and seemed to like it. Lines weren't bad at all. Place was also very clean.

dwr phlip

Right-sized park to do it all, plus a brand new water park to relax in. Join the great unwashed in defying death and melanomas all day long. Charging stations located throughout the park in most arcade locations. Tons of kiddie rides, and the most fantastically aggressive water jungle gym I've ever encountered in the water park. Many food structures conveniently shaped like the food they sell.

Natalie B

Great family time! I do believe the drinks are highly over priced since it was so hot and my drink was just as hot. They should at least provide a cup with ice! That wasn't even an option. Make sure you bring cash because the vending machines don't take cards and they addre the only place you're gonna find cold water

Katrina Klardie

Fun place, I didn't think the prices were too bad. You would get 5 stars if you were still open until 10 everyday, and had some more thrill rides. Not sure why you started closing earlier but I saw lots of customers still. You would make more money. It is summer time!

I had a great time in Canobie! I went there on 08/03/2019. I found it to be a big park with many rides and events going on throughout the day. Decent entrance fee that included all the rides. Cherry on top- live dance and song performance in the middle of park - how cool is that? I might go again!! And also we did free boat ride in lake Canobie!!

Brett Shaver

Canobie lake park has attractions for all ages from toddlers to adults who like roller coasters. The park is very clean, affordable and they keep it up to date by adding new attractions and sprucing up older ones. They added a whole new water park and built a new roller coaster in the past few years. There's a pretty lakefront area as well which sets it apart from other amusement parks. It can get pretty crowded on a summer weekend. Note that you CANNOT bring in outside food. They search your bag and you go through a metal detector...so leave your guns in the car

Jacquie Vieira

Great place not too many like this left. A bit pricey. So bring your own food and get coupons

gina lynn

It brought back memories of childhood, with a new twist. I can't enjoy the rides the way I used to but it was fun to see others doing it. Lots of new rides. Price was quite high at $42 per person for such a small park. Riverboat replaced with pontoon boats.

Mike Vieira

So it closed at 9pm the day I went. I paid until 9pm. So why at 8:45pm are the line closed? The answer I got was we are trying to go home....after asking for a supervisor and a big deal later, they let my kids go on the ride.... then the ride was temporary closed for 15 minutes and by the time everyone was done that was in line it was 9:20pm....So a big deal for nothing....Employees need more training and if you say 9pm then make sure it's 9pm.

William Toll

Fun. Old school fun. Rides are simple and nostalgic. Fireworks were good. Food was ok. Pepsi drinks. Some beer and wine options and very limited cocktails. Some arcade games are easy to get tickets from.

Michael O

Good, family park that is packed with rides for everyone! All levels and super fun, many coasters including the best wooden coaster in NE. Been coming here for 35 years and they continually improve the park -- now a water park area with a not-so lazy river ( in a good way). Be sure to watch the big flume and get soaked!

Christina Vinson

We just had the best day! I brought a group of 60 clients and staff to Canobie today. The group sales people were amazing, and then guest services came out to where our group was and handed out bracelets for my clients to be able to get on the rides easier, and explained how they could stop many of the rides so that those with physical disabilities could still have fun. Everyone was so so nice, all day, super helpful, everyone had so much fun!

Karin Powers

Canobie Lake Park provides a great variety of fun rides at an affordable price. My sons (ages 15 and 8) and I went after 5 for a reduced rate, and we left thoroughly satisfied. The lines moved quickly and I never felt overwhelmed or stressed for time, as I do at the bigger parks. We definitely hope to return.

appetite_of_new_england

This is a special place for most New Hampshire and Massachusetts people alike, for over a hundred years generations of people have been going here. While many things have changed a lot of the charm that makes this place special is still here. What the park has done with the limited space they have to work with is nothing less than incredible. It was my first theme park and now today it was my son's first.

Austin Campbell

Canobie is the best thiem park New Hampshire has to offer. From its old iconic wooden coaster, The Cannonball, to the more modern Corkscrew. An if you feel like getting wet, Canobie has its on water part and plenty of wet rides else where. A day of fun and memories awaits everyone there at Canobie Lake Park

Jian Liu

Convenient and great place for family. About 30 min drive from Boston, MA. Right off I-93 at Exit 2. Lots of fun rides and events. Long hours during summer. Highly recommended.

Donnette Rodrigues

I gave the park five stars last year because I do love the fact that it's a family park. Now that they've made changes in the water park the prices have gone up for admission as well as the games. The water park is no longer friendly for small children or kids that don't know how to swim, the lazy River pool is dangerous and an accident waiting to happen. It's completely overcrowded and the set up of the chairs for parents to keep eyes on their children has a minimal and/or obstructed view. The chairs should spread out across the area where the lifeguards walk around the pool. The park is super dark at night as if someone didn't pay their light bill, the area's in the back where Untamed and other rides are were pitch black and we were thinking it's a perfect place for a mugging ... No BS. Please fix the lighting and pool area so that we can Love The park again

The Duffy Bears

A wonderful place! Great rides for everyone in the family and wonderful views from many rides, benches and basically everywhere. On a Monday we basically had no waits. We got on most of the rides as many times as we wanted. Our personal favorite is the log flume type ride which we got on 5+ times with no wait. The only ride I can say something negative about is the corkscrew coaster, it is VERY short and it bangs your head back and forth. Left with a headache from this ride. We also had good food for a decent price. Would go again.

Kevin Sparkas

You can get in with the coupon during the work week for $34 per person. The park is always clean and the rides are relatively tame so mostly everybody can enjoy the park. The best part is you dont have to drive 2.5 hours to six flags. I believe its worth the trip.

Drew Humphreys

Great for the price. Lots of rides for the very little kiddos, mostly for 3yo and up. I would give it five stars but the staff was pretty lackadaisical and slow. So the ride wait times were longer than they needed to be.

Barry Londoff

Fun family place with tons of rides and noise. Swimwear is almost a must, since the best rides will get you literally drenched.

Olivia Uzzo

Canobie is such an amazing park! I wet with my family a few days ago and absolutely loved being there! The rides are super fun and i would DEFIANTLY go again!

Holly Philbrick

Canobie is a great family entertainment center. The impersonator shows are very high energy. The performers give it their all! And the costumes are eyecatching. The rides are well maintained and many are vintage quality but still in great shape. The addition of a water park is very competitive and really completes the picture of having entertainment for everyone on a hot summer day! The boat ride is a great way to cool off but it would heighten the interest to add a little descriptive dialogue about the lake and it's surroundings. Plenty of food, drink and restroom facilities are good. All in all, a great way to spend the day, Missed the fireworks!

Jeanie Pearson

A nice little amusement park. Lots of rides for kids. I enjoyed the Yankee Cannonball. Catered food isn't that good. The park has a lot of trees and greenery which is really nice.

Patrick Drake

Fun place to go with the family. Classic rides! Don't forget to grab your $5 off coupons from any Market basket before going. $5 off is $5 off.

Edy POJOY PojoyGuzman

I come here every year . My kids ways have fun time here. A lot of rides and very big park 100% recommend.

Vasthy Leonce

It was fantastic. We had so much fun. My family and I got on my rides than the last time we went. I could've given it 5 stars if I enjoyed the food as well. I don't know what happened this time. I could not even finish my sandwich. I feel like they have more options this year.

Evan Reppert

Fantastic time! Pleasant staff! Considering that amusement parks need to make high margins off of food and things, everything was reasonable!

Scott Carlson

Canobie Lake is a great small amusement park. Admission is still relatively reasonable and there is no charge to park. There are not the same number of major rides as one might find in some of the larger amusement parks, but there are a few quality coasters, and the water park has recently been expanded to make the overall experience even better than it was (and I have enjoyed going there for many years now). It is especially great for groups with a mix of ages. There are sufficient rides to keep the little ones occupied, and as mentioned previously, a few good coasters to make sure older kids and adults have fun too. On a crowded day a person can stay occupied trying to get on rides all day long. My daughter and I were there recently when the crowds were low, and we found ourselves sort of looking for things to do by the end of the day. We felt we had done everything we wanted to do, but we continued to enjoy ourselves nonetheless. It is a classic American amusement park. I feel like I'm getting my money's worth when I go there, unlike some major amusement park chains (yes, 6 flags, I'm talking to you!}. Highly recommended for a day of family fun.

Christopher Pruett

Fun as always! My family goes once or twice a year like a tradition. The rides aren't as intense as Six Flags but it is more of a family location. However lines for attractions are shorter as so many people went to the water park! That's a win!

Jonathan Kiley

Canobie Lake Park is always a blast to take the family to. Great rides for everyone to enjoy! Including a wooden rollercoaster the Yankee Cannonball! The food is as you would expect it. A little disappointed that the haunted mine has a bunch of non working parts, I hope to see that renovated. Fireworks, boat rides, theater shows and water rides, you can't go wrong!

Manny Mendez

Been coming here for years it’s always a great place for the family plenty of rides & plenty of food to eat. The rides speak for themselves & the lines are sometimes long but it’s worth it as most rides are pretty quick & there’s plenty of rides for the little ones as well. The pizza was really good & it’s better than most standard pizza places around towns. The fried dough was delicious warm & not too sweet. I’ve always recommended Canobie lake park as one the best attractions in New England not as big as six flags but it still does the job for me & I’ve enjoyed it even more since parking is free nothin beats that!

marcus Basiliere

Great place to bring the family! Alot to do great food selection, all around a good time!

Kenny Cabral

I'm 46 & been coming here since i was 8.. I've be taking my boys since babies & they are now 18 & 10. Great family amusement park! I always enjoy my time here & rather go here than 6 Flags.. My opinion... It was fun day & thanks...

Brenda P

We like bringing our smaller kids here because it has a nice family feel with some bigger rides for the grown-ups. We went on a Friday and it wasn't too crowded and we could hit every ride before nighttime, including the shows.

Stacey Yankowsky

Great fun for all ages my husband and I are 45 no small children... we had a fantastic time.... the rides n the water park were better than expected... we will return

Sarah Lewis

Great family fun for any age! We went with my husbands company and had lunch offered in the catering area. It was crowded but well organized.

Samantha Michalides

I took my small children here for right before summer break, so the place was empty. The kids had a blast and the staff was very polite and friendly with the kids. Even with barely anyone in the park, the food lines were still super long and slow. Just to get a water. I suggest getting vending with card payment and itll probably help things go smoother.

Dennis McCracken

We take the family here every year. It's not cheap, but also not 6 flags expensive. Always a great time. Park staff is friendly and helpful. Eat at the restaurant next to the Boston Tea Party. Best food in the park.

Jonny Cote

My girlfriend blindfolded me after we took a train and a uber, and whenit was surprise time and i saw the white wooden canon ball roller coaster i was so excited. Totally didn't see it Coming. Probably best surprise gift ever. Hadn't been to this park in 20 years. It was amazing. Best nostalgia ride me had.

Bryan Delaney

Canobie is a great place to spend the day! There's rides, games, and even a water park. There's a kids area with smaller rides which my daughter loves as well as rides that will delight your thrill seekers. If I had one complaint it would be regarding food selection. You have the standard pizza hut, Mexican place, fried dough, and ice cream but if you have any type of dietary issues you may want to pack a lunch and eat in the parking lot. Luckily Canobie does allow readmission with a proper hand stamp.

Ivana Ramirez

It was my first time going for both myself and my kids. We were greeted by friendly staff members. The park was clean and there was many staff around to help guests. My son got on the Zero Gravity ride. He got sick and threw up. I must say it was bad but Chad from concessions and Lisa were awesome. They got my son a Gatorade and let him know it was okay (happens all the time). They really made our experience a pleasant one. We definitely will come again.

Allen Casaletto

It's better than it used to be when I was a kid, but not by that much. The water park area is fun, but you might have to wait up to two hours or more, in a line to go in. Can't bring your own food in, no real healthy options inside either. A fair amount of kids rides wouldn't allow a parent to go with, but were too big for my son. Others he wasn't allowed on because he was too small. Now that I've experienced the new and improved version, there is no need to go again

Dave Campbell

Easy to get to with convenient parking. While maybe not as big as a Six Flags, it is closer and still a ton of fun for the whole family with special areas for little ones. The expanded water area was a big hit. Allow re-entry so you can pack a lunch an leave it in a cooler in the car to save some money.

Lisa Moreau

We are here with the BAE family outing which we haven't done in years. This time our children are grown adults and it is a different experience, but nonetheless happy and enjoyable. I love it when the whole family can get together like this and have a day of laughs while creating memories. My mother's heart is full of joy and happiness. #trulyblessed

Kurk Derks

Was an awesome time. Water park was great. Start early. Park fills up midday. Food is good and priced in-line with other "theme" parks. Cheerful and accommodating staff.

Brandon Camara

Place is cheaper compared to it's competition. The rides are fun and the water park is neat. Definitely a great place to bring younger kids as the majority of the rides are geared towards that group. Would absolutely visit again

Lori Parent

100 degree day today. Yet, the park was excellent in spite of the heat. Our 2 1/2 year old loved the kiddie rides. All the ride operators were so kind and pleasant. Park was clean and grounds were very pretty along lake. Plenty of shade. Lazy river was awesome and so were the flume rides. Food was eh.

Miguel Quinones

Great place to go with the kids. Ton of things to do. Specially now that they have a water park. The pricing can be real steep but if you gonna spend the whole day it can be worth it. And you can bring your own food. They could also work on repainting some of the food structures it’s starting to look a little worn out.

Jarred Haas

Castaway Island is an amazing addition to the park. The lazy river is among the best I've ever seen. Amazing shows this summer include a diving team and a Twisted Circus. The Ice Jet is a perfect addition.

Vero G

Short ride from Boston and offers free parking. Great Kiddie section for toddlers. Today there were short lines for rides. Plenty of games to choose from and has arcade. Many public restrooms throughout the park. Admission includes access to all rides, games and water park called "castaway island" has FREE life jackets available for the little ones. A few performers throughout the park and plenty of benches available. Food is pricey, but has large variety. Mainly food stations and a few sit down restaurants. Worth the trip.

Monica Renaud

It's such a fun park! It was not crowded since we came on a Friday. There are family rides, a new water park, plenty to do and small enough that I don't worry about letting my teen head off with friends. It's a super value for the price of admission!

Marissa Hamel

A little expensive but over all a fun, safe, nice place

Thomasina StPierre

Fantastic day, great expansion to the water park with a floating river. Does get a bit crowded at times but life guards do great job keeping control of things. Plenty of seats and lockers. Some of bathrooms were in need of TLC but overall the park was clean and staff was very friendly. Will definitely be going back again soon. On a side note, I think on days as hot as this day was, water should be allowed in. At $3 a bottle a lot of ppl were not staying hydrated as they should have been. Very dangerous, enough will still be bought but some that can't afford to keep buying can still be safely hydrating them and their children if able to bring a few in. I bought some water for Mom and her children that looked like they had not had water all day. Hoping that is something that might change for those that need it. That is really the only rule that doesn't make sense for safety reasons. Great Family park with great shows so still deserves 5 stars.

Victoria Le Blanc

We had so much fun at Canobie! I have four kids ranging from age 2 to age 10. There were rides for all and we can’t wait to go back! The cons would be $3 waters and they could use some better food. We didn’t get to check out the water park because we didn’t realize it closed early, but it looked like a lot of fun.

frank posluszny

Went there for the 1st time over 60 years ago. Today I met up with 3 of my 14 grandchildren and got to see the twinkle in their eyes and the giggles as they rode many rides that I had as a child. Best place to bring back memories.

Shane Bricault

Fun. Memories. Rides. Smiles. All around a great time. To heck with those big box parks, mom and pop place is where its at. Enjoy the good times and the tradition.

James Louison

Great place to go. Free parking and admission covers all the attractions. New water area has three slides and a lazy river that also has some waves in it. Rides for everyone from toddlers on up. Good food options even if they are a little pricey but that is the case at any park like this. Lots of walking but a lot to see. Smaller than the big parks but lots to do. Every concession takes credit cards so you don't have to walk around with a lot of cash. Lockers are available, paid $10 for the one we used near the water rides for the day. It was about 90 the day we went and it filled up pretty good after 1PM but that meant the lines for the other rides were pretty short!

Josiah Celestine

I had a blast it's the perfect place for family to get out and enjoy the summer. Personally I had a great time with my family definitely want to visit again soon

Vincent Porcella

A busy yet well run amusement park located in NH. The park also features a water park. Many rides we all grew up on. A few rollercoasters, ski lift for viewing the park & lake from above, a log ride, & so much more. Soon they will open a dual floored merry-go-round!! This amusement park like most are expensive for a family day out but, lets face it..... what's not these days? You can easily spend all day here. The typical time in line for popular rides were about 20-30min. Bring sunblock & drink plenty of water in the summer months. There are minimal trees to shade under.

Kristen Dority

Water park: Overcrowded with no adult supervision, just plain unsafe. It really felt like “live free or die.” Do not come here with your precious little kids! YOU CANT BRING YOUR FOOD OR DRINKS. Good luck if you or your kids have allergies. I don’t write bad reviews but I feel like other parents should know. I didn’t see any staff or life guard that looked older than high school age. That’s fine if they actually tell people what not to do. Or they hired enough life guards for number of people they sold tickets to. My kids waited forever to go on River Slides (the reason we came here for!) and didn’t want to go back. They said the wait was too long and slide was too short and not that fun. They didn’t have enough tubes... because people just kept them and went back on line. There weren’t enough staff present for crowd control. Lazy River: if there aren’t enough tubes, perhaps they should make people wait? People went in there with street clothes in, babies wading with no diaper cover... it was so crowded. I was just standing and at least 7 people bumped into me. It’s fine, like T ride during rush hour except people are almost naked with only swimsuits on. My kids want to go back to Jay Peak or Great Wolf Lodge. So this was complete waste of money and time for my family.

Brittney Soucy

Tends to get very overcrowded at night. It’s so much more fun in the dark too with all your friends, that way especially when it’s hot and you just need to cool off on my personal favorite- the log ride. Fireworks are always a plus!

arvind sampath

Perfect for kids between the age 6 and 14. Queues are not too long and rides r fun. Would recommend this park over 6 flags

Blue Angel

Easy to get lost. Best experience was when I dropped the map. The food is somewhat expensive but it's decent. The rides are pretty good but I've been on better ones. If someone is looking for a more mild experience than some other more extreme amusement parks, this is definitely for them. It's very suitable for families. I did have fun.

FRANCISCO BALLOU

Great rides. We got there at 5 for cheaper tickets. The Twisted Circus show was worth the price of admission by itself. Kids had a great time. 5 hours flew by.

Marley Levy

Canobie is a nice amusement park with affordable prices for entry. It provides a fair experience with rides and a water park included. Food is expensive, as expected, but portions are also huge in many cases. It is a nice setting for a family, with rides to please the older kids and adults, and attractions for a younger crowd as well. Line wait times aren't too hefty. Your ticket includes entry to Castaway park, a water area (I'll write a review for that as well). To me, this makes Canobie a five star deal. My only critique is that while canobie is fun for a day with the kids, many rides are simply repackaged carnival rides, and I can't see it being all too exciting for an only adult crowd (though the groups there seemed to be well entertained). Overall 4.5

Riana Conklin

Such a great place, awesome rides, amazing staff, and I love how they mix in the history it's really terrific! They only thing was the food was really rather horrible, the cotton candy or ice cream, pretzels, etc. were great but the real food like pasta or even hot dogs, were really really bad. So I would totally recommend going, just make sure you eat lunch before you go.

Joshua Russman

Brian and Rachel, who closed untamed on 8 17 19, were hilarious hosts. Would give 5 stars if you got us a real big boy ride though .

Trin oof

Canobie lake is amazing. But, there are only monster rides and then kitty rides. So if you have a kid who doesn't like scary rides but is older, I don't suggest going here. If you do, then try the dragon coaster, the swings, the flume, and the train is pretty good to. Also, the sky ride is amazing and the view is great. Definitely a family friendly experience and amazing. (Also has a great variety of food and arcade games..!)

Michael Olmsteas

It's a fun place to spend time with the family. The amusements are thrilling, and we had a great time. That being said I have an ax to grind. The prices for food and drink are outrageous. The vending machines only offer 20 oz. bottles of water ($3.00), and 20 oz bottles of Gatorade ($4.00). If you're in the mood for a cold bottle of Coca-Cola, or Pepsi you will not find a single one in the entire park. To satisfy your craving for a cold soda pop you'll have to shell out $2.99 for a small--their only size. And if you're hankering for a beer be ready to pay $7.29 for less than a pint.

David Cavalieri

Water park is not for little kids and website does not disclose that most of the slides in the Rain Fortress are for six years old and older. Does not matter how tall or how much you weigh. Even with a life jacket. Does not make any sense! My kids were devastated. Same size and smaller than slides they have done at other parks.

Keemo Chi

It was fairly fun, a little pricey but they manage to make it work. The food is fairly good, I absolutely adored the chicken coop baskets. All staff was friendly and the lines for rides weren't too long, so it was a rather lovely time. The water park however gets crowded (of course it would) and it's a little difficult to get to some of the slides.

kathy maki

Such a nice time. I love parks that have water rides and dry rides. The breeze was beautiful, the lines weren't long and the staff was super friendly. We stayed till close which was 9 pm. It's awesome how when the announce the park is closed and staff stands at the exit and outside the exit and as you exit they Thank You for visiting Canobie Lake Park. The one thing I want to add about Canobie is that they will even let you bring a cooler in, you can bring all the food and all the drinks you want, in plastic. NO GLASS. Even if you have a glass bottle of perfume in your pocketbook they will take it or you can bring it back to your car.

Rhody Ginger

Pleasantly surprised how fun the park is after being away for 13+ years. Even though they don't focus so much on thrill rides, there's still plenty to do for people of all ages to enjoy- even the updated water park is nice, if still somewhat small. Prices for admission and things in the park are surprisingly reasonable as well, I never seemed to feel like they were gouged for no reason like some other parks. Highly recommend visiting of you've never been, or if it's been a long time.

Yessica Rodríguez

This place was so much fun! You can go there with friends and family. And it is super close from my house. I enjoyed so much. I hope i can go there very very soon!

Eloise Garcia

We took our kids here last week and everyone had a blast! The water park and rides were fun and exciting!! GREAT slides! Perfect day park, would only recommend cleaning the bathroom stalls!

Corey Cressey

Would be a 5 star but I gotta tell ya...I'm a bigger guy. I get that they have weight limits on the rides. 300 pounds for the water slide. Last time I weighed myself a few days ago I was 297. After facing my fears of heights and spending 30 minutes walking up the stairs to go down the water slide, I get to the top where they make you stand on a scale (completely understandable, trying to protect the business). They weight me and say I'm 2 pounds overweight (though I would argue that fact). Again, I get the rules. But here's the annoying part. Why don't you weigh people at the bottom of the stairs? I had to take the very embarrassing walk of shame all the way back down the stairs, asking people to please move so I can get by. You could at least weigh them at the bottom, or just make a smaller stairway as an exit only, so people like myself don't have to feel embarrassed that they were too overweight for the ride. The rest of the park was fun but seriously, that was one of my most embarrassing moments I've ever experienced at a theme park.

Jessica Chann

Having been to several amusement parks, Canobie is definitely one of my favorites because the rides are more tame than those at Six Flags, yet still give the fun thrills you look for in a good rollercoaster. The seasoned waffle fries are also fantastic. Lots of fun for all levels of thrill-seeking.

Demetria Hammond

Loved the water park, lines were long but moved pretty fast. Wish they had more lockers and cabanas in the water park or at least more changing spots. Overall was fun but most likely a 1 visit and done spot for our family

John Luke Mills

Good mid-sized family amusement park. Not a good place if you are looking to be wowed by roller coasters. The midsized wood coaster with a new track bed is pretty good and the best of the three. The corkscrew is a very short headbanger. Untamed is pretty good packing a fair amount of fun on a fairly small patch of land. They let folks in for $26 after 5. That allows plenty of time to do all you will probably want to.

Giselle Vazquez

It is a great family environment, great rides for kids and for adults. They have very good performances also. There is also a nice water park. The people that work here are very friendly and helpful.

CommandBlockKid

Canobie Lake Park is a very great amusement and water park! There are many rides to choose from, rides that range from the wild Untamed roller coaster, to the Boston Tea Party, with many rides in between. There are also carnival-themed games, and even a few arcades! There are also shows that you can watch, if you're interested. I highly recommend Canobie Lake Park if you're looking for an amusement park and/or water park. Just remember, it's always just for fun!

simple antonia

Been coming here for over 8 years. I love it so much. The rides are fun and the food is good. Amazing :)

Tim Sullivan

Canobie is a local legend. It's nothing truly spectacular - so if you're expecting crazy amazing rides, lower your expectations a bit. Don't let that deter you, though - it's a warming, welcoming place to make memories. Plenty of fun rides and plenty of goofy campy ones to laugh about for years after. I hope they never lose the haunted mine. It's goofy as hell, but super fun. I only wish they could restore some of it's original effects, but you know. It is what it is. If you have an afternoon to kill, definitely check it out. Plus it's cheaper after 5pm.

Julia Holter

Good for younger kids. I feel as if there is less and less to do as you get older. The other problem I have is the prices of the food, $10.99 for a basic hamburger is just too much. It's great for the kids but needs improvement to be friendly for all.

Mike Donohue

Had a great time, even on a blistering hot day, at this family-friendly amusement and water park. It's not overly big, you can easily exit to your car and come back in without trekking miles. It's clean with plenty of spaces to seek out shade (though not on all the ride lines). Get there early, hit the water park, break for lunch (pack a picnic and eat in the parking lot) and then hit up some coasters or kiddie rides. A good mix of rides for everyone from toddlers to seniors that won't bust your budget.

K Kp

Great park with lots of fun rides. I took my 8 and 11 yrs old and they had the best time. The place is clean and the rides are well kept. The Concessions staff is young and very Inefficient aside from that awful experience the rest was great. We were there dying the frightfesr, they put on a good show but my 8 yrs old was terrified...

Sean K

Awesome medium sized family amusement park. Very family friendly with a diverse crowd. Clean. My kids had a wonderful time.

Cliff Lo Verme

Nice family park. Rides for all ages. Gets bigger every year! Bring your own food to save some $$$.

Alexandra VanZile

A great place for guests of all ages! With rides for thrill seekers, kids, family ride, arcades, and even those "rigged" carnival rides, there won't be a dull moment during your trip! There are convenient snack stands, fast food stands, and even small restaurants scattered about the park if you're looking to eat in the park, but it isn't always necessary. There is a great re-entry policy that allows you to bring some lunch to leave in the car! And don't forget about their boat and train rides and live entertainment! Honestly, the best day trip for a date, a small group, or the whole family!

Kendra Guerin

I have going to Canobie Lake Park for years. It is relaxing park with lots of a shade. Unlike some parks which force you to stand in the sun all day. Rides are either intense or kiddie. Nothing to much in the middle. Overall I will continue to go here for years to come

Katherine Burrell

Great friendly staff. Ada friendly. No service dog access challenges, but handlers beware, it's pet friendly. Clean grounds, safe rides, decent food. Lots to do. A little expensive, but definitely fun

405 25

Great Rides. Good price. Local gem we can keep to ourselves. Went as a school trip. One tip: Fix the Fried Chicken me and my friends were cringing at it

Chloe Jenness

Good food. Awesome rides. Very friendly and kind staff. It is a little pricey but Twenty dollars will do you just fine. Waiting for rides can be long but the rides are worth it. Great place for the family and friends. One of my favorite amusement parks

Damaris Nevarez

Loved coming here as a child and now I get to bring my little ones here. Always a pleasant experience. Creating memories for a lifetime.

Seokjun Shin

Very enjoyable and pleasant place to be. I love their rides, a lot of benches to sit and rest, reasonable price for the food, many trees, and less walking compared to Six Flags. It is a such a good place for family fun time. Oh, the grill place in the new water park area takes too much time to order. When I was there , it took me exactly 1 hour to place an order.

Justin Singley

Great park for the kids. I was very impressed with the amount of rides they had for my 5 year old son. It's a great atmosphere in the park. The food is not that great. Atlesst where we stopped. Very long line for mediocre burgers.

Whyareyou Here??

Personally, I love the park! It has fun atmosphere and friendly staff! The food is good, and the rides run with no problem! I have nothing to say about castaway island because I haven’t gone yet this year (I will be soon). I would never miss a chance to go to Canobie! It’s also a good family park, a great place to bring you kids. I’m still child, so I know ;^;

C Sherman

An icon of Southern New Hampshire, Canopie Lake Park is a wonderful family-friendly place. If you're interested in high-energy thrill rides like a Six Flags, this place is probably not for you. However if you're looking for a beautiful environment, well landscaped grounds and wonderful family rides this is the place. The park is consistently clean and well-maintained. Warm summer weekends, it can be quite crowded so get there early. Spring and Fall are ideal times to visit the park as it is not crowded throughout most of the day.

Leonard Adams

Fun place to take the family for a day but don't expect an experience similar to six flags or other major amusement parks. The price is reasonable for what you get, and they have a lot of rides for younger kids. Their newer water park has a great lazy river with a wave generator, a massive water playground, and a kiddy area for young ones. Parking is free. They have a strict no food policy but you can exit to eat food at your car or somewhere local then reenter that day as long as you get your hand stamped. The food is typical park food with the average meal around 10 dollars.

Kylee Locke

So much fun! Absolutely love that my one year old was safely allowed to go on rides by herself in the kiddie area best times! And the lazy river is awesome we could have stayed in all day! Complete opposite of water country's terrible life jackets also! My baby girl was comfy in your life jackets!

Elizabeth Dozois

For a smaller amusement park there is a decent selection of rides and games. We were really looking forward to the water park, but that was short lived. There was way too many people for any level of safety to be maintained. Not sure if there is a limit to the number of people allowed in the park at one time, but there should be.

Sorina Aquinde Calero

This park was a recommendation by my cousin. My family and I decided to take a vacation to Canada and on the way back to Virginia, we made a stop by Boston, MA to visit my family. Asked my cousin what there was to do that was more along the family side, and she mentioned this park. My husband and I went with our two young boys and they are ages 7 and 1. Both of them had so much fun. I was quite impressed with the amount of rides that a one year old could go on. I have never been to a place where my youngest son was able to participate as much. I enjoyed the rides as well as an adult. Wait times weren't crazy and were pretty decent time frames. If and when I go visit family again in the future I wouldn't mind coming back to this park with my kids!

Kelly Noonan

Been going to Canobie Lake Park for 20+ years. Always so much fun and so many things to do. Love that they even offer a late afternoon discount into the park. They also have free water bottle fill up stations which is genius!

Mike Bartley

My family really enjoys this park. My kids are younger, there is plenty for the smallest one to do. However, there are a few rides for my 10 year old that are exciting for him. It is clean on the inside and most of the staff are pretty friendly.

Kevin Erickson

I recently paid a visit to the park with some friends. They had just opened their addition to the "water park". Keeping in mind that this is a small amusement park the size of the water park is also small. It features 3 tube water slides surrounded by a small loop of a lazy river with a zero entry area. I wouldn't go for the water park alone but a nice addition to the whole property. The other rides and amusements are the usual thing from two newer steel coasters and a rattling good wooden coaster. There are plenty of older classic rides as well. They offer several good shows all included in the price of admission. Crowd levels on a Sunday afternoon/evening were decent. I would recommend this as a slightly laid back option to Six Flags New England.

O Shaba

Fun fun fun... great park for family vacation and weekend activities. You will enjoy the water ride i promise

Justin Mayotte

This place is better than six flags New England. Free parking, and the kids can ride more, stand in line less and love to visit!

augusto reis

Love the new water park! We hit the water park first and it was awesome. Not too crowded and didn't wait too ling for the new slides! Of course the phone was in the locker in the water park, but here is my oldest daughter and girlfriend in the Pirate ship!

Marcy Sin

This place is great for families, especially with little ones. There is a great selection of kiddie rides and shows. Also, their waterpark is great, loved the lazy river...though it does get overcrowded so probably not ideal for the little ones. Though, they have a cute splash pad for them. Overall, the park is VERY clean and the staff is extremely nice.

Joey Vindictive

It's not the best, it's not the worst. They won't accept $100 bills, even when your buying $72 worth of stuff. The staff is excellent friendly and helpful. Rides were at least 20 to 30 minute waits. Free parking is nice. Park was somewhat confusing to navigate, even with the map. They actually have more food stations/gift shops than rides! Would have given 3 stars, but the friendliness of the staff bumped it up.

Anne Pearce

So fun! A great place to have a great time! If you go on the week days it is not that crowded and you can go on many of the rides more than once quickly. Food is great and bathrooms are clean and in good locations. It's nice how they have roller coasters and also water rides. Also, they have rides for younger kids which is nice. Overall it's a very good place to have a good time!

Isaias Andrade

This is a very nice family park. It looks like a very large fair. All the rides are short but thrilling. Each rides takes about ~ a little over a minute. There are hardly any lines when we went, or the lines were just a few minutes short. Not like other large parks, where you will sit on lines for hours. We didn't use the water side, but looked at it. It appeared fun and also short rides. ALSO, the food is very cheap compared to other parks. Yes a drink is 3 dollars but no 10 like other parks. The fried dough was really good.

David Riccitelli

Fantastic shows clean park!! Prices on food are great not like six flags!! They don't cut all the trees down so you can but a 5.00 dollar water. They don't have monster roller coasters but the ones they have are really fun. Nice water park and a great time for every age. Free parking too !!! This park will not make you broke.

Gregory Rosic

A good time for the whole family! I came with my wife, mother in law, 3 yo and 3 month old. I think my 3 yo had the best time, there were lots of kids rides that weren't busy. The water park was packed, but amazing! I liked the boat around Canobie lake. The amusement park is somewhat small and dated for the cost of it, and the roller coasters had a long line which is why it got 4/5 stars.

J M

I was very impressed with canobie, even when it was on a day that had a lot of guests there. There are tons of rides for kids and lines were not too bad. Water park is small, but nicely laid out for kids. There was a lot to do in a small area there. Looked like they had a nice bar in the water park for adults. Food was surprisingly inexpensive and very good for the most part. Will definitely be back in the future.

Geoffrey Marchant

This place is great. Clean safe environment. Great rides and an awesome Halloween month called scream fest during the month of October. They have the whole park decorated, they have at least three haunted houses that are great, and they start it off with a monster filled parade at sunset. After that there are monsters wondering around the park interacting with the patrons for the rest of the night. I highly recommend it especially if you love Halloween.

Jay Aunderson

Such an amazing park with affordable prices. Affordable ticket prices, affordable food prices, friendly staff. Not overpriced and overcharged like these other theme parks with bigger names and mediocre service. The new castaway island is amazing. Alcohol beverages at a decent price with friendly waitresses. Canobie continues to excel

Liam Burgess

You will have a day you will remember forever if you go here, the ride is pleasant and not too bad, the price is pretty cheap and worth it, you can exit and reenter as many times as you can. You can go on any of the rides w/o having to pay for them individually nor having a certain amount of tickets for certain rides, you can go on any ride whenever you want and the lines are usually acceptable, reasonable or even short sometimes. The staff are extremely nice and well going, they like their job and the people who go their enjoy their time. Highly requested for a family trip.

timothy petrie

Ok for little ones. Lines can be long, and very often VIPs get first served status so the "regular" folk who shell out 39 bucks wait 3 times as long. Not good practice. Won't be back unless we get free tickets. The train ride was nice.

Anna Naef

It was so fun! Way less crowded than Six Flags and with more family-friendly rides. It is well staffed, and with one exception everyone was very friendly and helpful! Would 10/10 recommend

Bobby Labrie

Ran a special online for discounted season passes but forgot to mention that you had to buy your ticket for that day BEFORE buying your season pass...so buy a ticket to buy a ticket? Makes no sense and not how it was advertised and 4 of us left that had planned on buying the season passes. Management was no help

Naim Nazef

Really great time and enjoyed the rides. Didnt like the fact you had to use cash at some of the games... who carries cash these days. Some lines were long due to inefficient organization, especially the large main water slide.

Just G

We love Canobie Lake. Free parking! Great shows. Kids enjoy going every year!! Couldnt get near the water park. Place has become very popular over the years.

Brittany Franceschini

We visited on a Sunday and Pepsi family appreciation day no less. The park was so packed we drove around the parking lot twice before finding a spot...regardless of how busy they were security was a breeze with tons of lanes open. Castaway island was BUSY it was 91 degrees when we arrived and after seeing how many people inside that park of the park I thought it was going to be impossible to enjoy it but people were friendly, lines moved fast and our 9 year old still loved it. The park was clean and staff was super friendly/on top of things. This surprised me again because of how busy the park was. Overall it was a great experience, staff did great keeping up with demands and activities were affordable!

Thomas Stickney

Very nice park, with a wide variety of rides and attractions! I especially love the arcades, especially with the throw back games! They bring me back to my teens! I wish there were more, like defender, the baseball game where you have the metal joystick to throw different pitches...

Gina Marie Samarel

It's a very clean and safe amusement park. Fun and thrilling rides for all age groups. We, especially, enjoyed the Boston Tea Party ride!

Thalita Andenmatten

Best amusement park you will find around. Good for all ages, from baby until adults. My daughter did not want to leave. We will definitely come back and bring friends and family with us.

Mutant Rabbit

A very fun place to go for a day of enjoyment. Something I'd suggest is for rides like the Ice jet- perhaps putting something up over the line on hot days. I ended up getting heat exhausted and felt ill for a good hour or two which wasn't fun at all. Vending machines for water should also be checked and restocked frequently on these days because water is a *must*. Overall fun place to visit, large but not so large that you'll get lost.

Gavin Dineen

Honestly I hadn't been here since I was a little kid and it's absolutely worth the trip as an adult. We stayed until the park closed and made sure to ride all the best rides. Go for Halloween you won't be dissappointed!

Susan Smith

It has definitely changed since I have last been there lots of rides games food shows if you go during the day I would suggest bringing a cooler full of food and drinks because it's kind of pricey eating there they have a new loyalty program which is free you get a bracelet and on certain rides you get points you could receive free things at the park I received a free token and won my daughter a stuffed animal on the first try which was pretty cool is plenty of parking they even have a spot for outings which is pretty cool plenty of kids and adult rides my daughter is 5 she would on the adult pirate ship and some other adult ride and get an awesome job

Shantelle Sweet

LONG BUT READ THREW--- We had a good time, park is very clean, food prices are reasonable, admittance price isn't terrible. A few things need mentioning though. The water park is disappointing, big let down. Kids under 6 can't even go on most of the water slides, which some of them seemed ridiculous that they couldn't. Especially because my kids are almost 6 and are very tall for their age. The lazy river is smaller than expected, the water park is much smaller than expected in general. My biggest issue and concern is the young staff. Holy RUDE and UNSAFE!!! No respect, rude to children, can tell they can't stand their job. A lot of them closed the rides early AND TO OUR COMPLETE HORROR, A STAFF AT THE CATERPILLAR RIDE ALMOST STARTED THE RIDE WHILE A SMALL CHILD WASN'T EVEN IN THE RIDE. WE HAD TO YELL AT HIM AND TELL HIM TO STOP THE RIDE!!! Get your staff properly trained Canobie Lake and if they are negligent, fire them because someone could have got seriously hurt!!! It's not worth the money you're saving to hire super young irresponsible kids, a major lawsuit could cost you way more or shut you down!!!

Wayne Gauvin

Beautiful park great for families of all ages plus the new water park is an awesome addition. It has a real old school nostalgic feel that has sadly been lost in the new big adventure theme parks that's why I keep coming back as I want my daughter to experience the same type of family fun I did as a child. The place is clean and updated, prices are fair and the Saturday fireworks were great. The food is pretty good for theme park concessions and a few sell adult beverages for stressed out parents. You can enjoy all the rides and attractions in one day but plan on 2 if you want spend a hot day at the water park.

Manie Ling

Great family park. All rides very close together. Pack your lunches in a big cooler and eat in the parking lot. Free parking. Food not a good value, and long lines when busy. Check weather before your stay. Had a lot of fun!

Shawn

Great place for kids. A few cool big kid rides but more concentration on smaller kids rides, which was perfect for my son who is 4 1/2 year's old and loves all rides and wants to go on everything.

HJ Patel

Everything is good kids under 4 years to Adult can enjoy this place. Lots of activities to do. Park open till close, I promise you will not run out of activities. My 1 star short is for food places, yes they are not too expensive but please place 1 or 2 extra employees in there to better serve your customers. I saw 2 to 3 places, noone looking after them and all those poor teenage boys dealing with all shorts of issues which converted to delays and at the end frustration from customers standing in line. Over all GREAT place to visit ....I repeat GREAT!! With a huge free parking lot.

SexxyNetta Peavy

I like the atmosphere of this park. The rides are a good spread of rides they appear to be somewhat safe but for the most part you do ride at your own risk and you can stand a high chance of neck and

Michael DiGregorio

Great family amusement park with alot of great rides and eateries inside the park! Well worth the trip to Salem, NH! Terrific outdoor atmosphere and can't wait to go again. Check them out in October during Screamfest. Tons of fun for everyone!

justin santos

Everything was great except when a worker from the IceJet said my child was not 48" when she's closer to 49" and this WAS THE ONLY RIDE SHE WAS NOT ALOUD ON

Justin Landry

Always nostalgic. Games are starting to get run down. Hate the new exterior fence/gate. Still would find it hard to give anything but a 5 star though

Vito B. Jano

Always loved it few times gone. People are friendly. Staff is kind. Helpul. Some even try get you pumped on the ride. Only problem I have is food too expensive! Prices on food way to high. and the lines/wait time for rides way too long which is probably normal consider that park is always packed. But great fun.

Heidi Littlefield

Been 20 years since i was here last. Beautiful day full of sun and family fun Clean and easy to navigate with fun rides for all ages. After a full day of riding we enjoyed cooling off in the water park and relaxed on the lazy river. Will bring more family next year and many years to come.

Debbie Moore

Fun place. Rides for all ages. Free parking! Clean. Pretty. Lots of visible security and staff. Only negative: food and drinks cost too much...but that's at most fun parks.

Howard Simpson

We've been visiting Canobie since our son was 4. 5 years later he has grown up with it as his favorite summer time getaway location. Thrill rides, shows, and a water park make for a full day for the family. There are numerous food stands that might only be a few dollars less than other amusement parks, so expect to pay a price you might not think worth it for a little bite to eat. The positive is you can get a souvenir cup that will allow you to have refills for a buck as of 2019. Parking is free. The grounds are kept incredibly well. Canobie isn't so big that you can't get through most of the attractions in a day. Worth a visit if you're familiarizing your children with the concept of an amusement park. You will find something for all ages.

Don Kelly

Great place. Clean. Lots of food options and most pretty good for amusement park food. Not a ton of high thrill rides for older kids but a great family park. Great price compared to other larger parks.

adam sinel

Bring your kids and prepare for fun, geared towards younger kids, water park was very nice and very safe. Life gaurds everywhere paying attention to everything. Really a nice day. Well run

Betsy Perkins

Wow...I hadn't been in 20+ years and it has gotten even better. We had a great time, there is something for everyone and the grounds are lovely. I also love the map. Staff is young, but very professional. Lines can be pretty long for the popular rides, just move on and come back, or get ready to talk with your peeps. They serve good beer!

Lucy Dorney

We had so much fun, we stayed from 11:00 to close at 8:00pm. We really enjoyed the Country Show, and my daughter loved all the rides she went on. Lines were reasonable for such a great day.

Rasberry Surles

A great place to bring your family for some fun. Only down fall is there is no season pass. With the addition of the water park side, it would be so nice if they offered one. Reasonable prices for food. Staff was friendly and courteous.
