This Park corresponds to the category of Water park.
It was amazing all of the kids loved it. There prices are wonderful. Plus there good food. I will definitely go again. One more thing if you are looking for a cheap but fun place go there it will be way better than blue bayou
We went in the afternoon on an overcast day so we pretty much had the park to ourselves it was really fun for the kids. We were rained out and given free passes so we will be back. Will be able to give a more detailed review once we stay for the full time.
Its summer. You need water to cool down. They have got water for you to cool down. If you want more, they have got lazy river. More? They have got 5 BIG slides. More? They got food if you get hungry. And its cheap. The staffs are good, smiling, happy.
We go to yogi bear every summer and we stay for a week. So for the last 3 years we have been going to have a break just to get away. Love this place. Nice and clean. Staff is very nice and for the price you can’t beat it..And they have a concession stand and the prices are very reasonable. Will be back next month
Real real real nice the kids and i really enjoyed our first experience of the park today. Thanks for everything. All the workers was excellent. Thanks again.
Great time for the whole family!
Great place for the whole family ❤️ and wonderful kind staff
Trip was great
It was close to 90 degrees, I tried to bring a small bottle of water for my one year old, to prevent dehydration and over heating. It was refused at the bag check and I was made to throw it away, even after arguing for safety reasons. Against my better judgement I still decided to precede into the park to make my 4 year old happy. Low and behold, 3 hours later my toddler is beat red and lethargic. We were forced to sit under an umbrella trying to cool her down. I’m currently consulting with attorneys on whether or not it is legal to deny people drinking water. We currently cannot even find a case law where this has happened before. I mean even Disney allows you to bring water. It’s not like I was trying to bring a happy meal or fried chicken smh.
We went to liberty lagoon for a birthday today and were pleased
It was fun but not many slides!
Very nice water park it was safe, clean, and cheap. Food snd drinks were very reasonable. I will go again.
We went to liberty lagoon for a birthday today and were pleased. We were blown away that this place was a BREC park. It was very clean and there were several lifeguards in the water areas, which was very comforting with little ones. There was plenty of things to do for every age group. My youngest children were able to play in the kiddie area and my oldest was able to go down the larger slides and the lazy river. We were impressed and will return. My only advice would be to arrive early because there was a line when we entered and exited.
Very fun family water park
I love coming here with my brother's children. The kids have so much fun. Is everything perfect? No, nothing is, but it does not matter to me. The kids are screaming happy, they are outside and with family and friends. Give me more!
The lifeguards are always very attentive and the toddler area has more than enough to keep them entertained! My 3 year old had a blast today!
You won’t find better lifeguards in Baton Rouge I guarantee it! The park has something for everyone. There is a play area for the little ones and an epic volley ball net for big boys. The list goes on.. there’s an amazing choice of slides, including the world famous bowl slide that drops into 8 and 1/2 feet of water! I can get into the other slides but you have to ride them to believe me. Lastly there’s Louisiana’s one and ONLY Flowrider which Liberty Lagoon has named the SHOCKWAVE!!! This beast will take you to the shores of your dream beach and back with its epic sheet wave that welcomes the inexperienced and the pros. All together, if you are looking for a good time with the whole family away from the heat this is the place to be!
A good place for small children but get there early lines get long .
My kids and I really enjoyed ourselves here. The lazy river is very relaxing and the slides are awesome.
Lines extremely long to get in park and for rides
Great place, may need a few more life guards given numbers of small kids there
This is a mini Indoor water park in a local hotel, which is suitable for kids under the age of about 9. Older kids will find it lame. It has zero entry access to the LARGE kiddy pool area, which has geysers and mini dumping buckets as well as a very nice turtle water slide suitable for toddlers through about 5. If you are not staying at the hotel the cost is $10 dollars each for people over the age of two. If your kids love swimming but are too little for 99% of the attractions at the real water parks, this is a BARGAIN. The water is clean, towels are provided, and it is possible to supervise all of the kiddy pool area as well as the deeper end of the regular pool from the hot tub.
Its the best
Need a better system for birthday party's entering the park. The host took the party before us and then we stood outside for 15 to 20min waiting for the host to come back to take us in. There should be more than 1 person working party's.
Had a great time a wonderful park. Very family friendly.
Great summer day trip to cool off, relax and have some fun
Staff could have been better trained and moved a bit faster, especially at the entrance.
They need a better system when it comes to waiting in the line for entry..it was over 2 hrs just to get in
Great place for inexpensive fun with family
I may only see this place once a year when they are open to dogs, but I'm impressed every time.
Is really cool! Especially the flow rider. But there was one problem one of the lifeguards was being very inapropriate
We waited in line for over an hour and I could count at least 30 people that arrived after me but were in front of me in line. There were 3 police officers there that did a poor job of policing the line. These were adults. Smh, unacceptable.
Fun park for kids an a relaxing place for adults.....Had a beautiful day here
Love love love this place. We did have to stand in a little line to get in but my kids had a BLAST!!!!
We had an awesome time!! SPAR closes for just some sprinkles of rain. Over here they did not. They didn't close down the pool for any reason. Can't wait to come back again!!
The price is great. I was disappointed that there were no tubes/floats/swim rings available. If they don't have enough then the least they should do is let you bring your own. As an older partially disabled person this put a damper on my visit, since I had to sit out most of my visit. Also, to close the pool totally for a safety check for nearly 30 minutes is time that my grandchildren missed being in the pool. The overall visit was nice, could have been better. Thank you.
Great For Kids,
Didn't go in and just drop off kid for birthday party. The lines were very long and stayed the same when it was time to pick my kid is three hours later. Also parking lot was full when I pick up the kid. However i heard the party was fun.
Great place!
The worst experience I can imagine. Rude staff and nasty place. Having my sons 7th birthday party right now and he isn't even happy. They limit the things you can bring in and don't supply anything for you
Great place to go, nice clean place.
My kids and I love the way they have a band that they put on my son ,which lets the workers no that he is autistic...
It’s kinda small it’s a great place to bring small kids so they don’t get lost.
Had lots of fun
To small for the large crowd but a fun spot for families! Need more floating tubes...
super duper fun. places for toddlers. Restrooms and food court. the only thing is you absolutely cant leave the park or you have to pay to re-enter
Great place. Very clean. Reasonable price. Enjoyed our day very much. The only thing that needs improvement on it is finding a better way to let other guest know you having and private party so they dont keep their bags in your cover Pavilion
Today was the third time this summer we've been to Liberty Lagoon, in about as many weeks. Needless to say, our family really enjoys visiting regularly. Before I list all the things we love so much about Liberty Lagoon, let me just explain the two singular things that made me give four stars instead of the possible five. First, the weekends are the busiest days obviously. That's not the problem at all. We totally expect that to be the case, for all the reasons that I'm sure I don't need to explain for any of you. Not the park's fault by any means, but the problem for me is that the park doesn't seem to anticipate the peak in visitors as much as we do. Every time we visit Liberty Lagoon on a Saturday or Sunday, we always show up a half hour before opening time. The line is usually already out to the end of the sidewalk, but it moves pretty quickly once the gates officially open. I see the dilemma though, when the line continues to just build outside the gate as the day goes on, with some visitors possibly not being able to enter at all that day. I think the solution for this would be a simple one. By selling time blocks instead of all day passes on weekends. The price is already very reasonable at 12 dollars per person, and we would gladly pay that to swim for four hours on a weekend, because we honestly never last till closing time anyway. The second reason that I only gave four stars out of five is only because of the food. It's not terrible to eat or anything like that. I mean it's not fine dining either, but just exactly the food you'd expect to find in a park. Mostly just frozen foods and snacks that can be whipped up in a concession stand setting. Basically, all the same things we get at our high school football games, but way less variety, and MMMUUUUCCCCHHHH more expensive. I love swimming there, but the food is just really priced a lot higher than what it should be for those types of items. Don't be mistaken. These two small issues will NOT outweigh all the things you'll love about Liberty Lagoon. One of the first things you're likely to notice about the park is that it's clean and well maintained. There are plenty of lockers to rent for your belongings, and they're even available in different sizes. Three shower rooms / restrooms are conveniently spaced around the outer path surrounding the pools. The largest is up front when you enter the gates, a slightly smaller one to the right, and the smallest at the rear of the park. The first two buildings are also where you'll find the two separate snack counters. They're are definitely plenty of shaded tables for everyone to enjoy, and several cabana areas, as well as shaded pavillions to rent for parties and events. The first pool you'll come to at Liberty Lagoon is the toddler pool. It's really beautifully done with a large playground centered in the shallow pool, and no doubt the first thing every little one spots are the countless colorful fixtures from which the water sprays, cascades, flows around the playground itself. The zero entry soft foam bottom pool is more than safe and adequate to entertain any properly supervised toddler, and it's a great spot for you to make your way into the lazy river that runs just behind the playground. There are several other entry points into the river, and it flows smartly around the park to meet each other attraction. Float your way down to the huge whirlpool, stop by the leap frog pool to try your luck at crossing the giant foam lilly pads, or even swim off into the biggest pool for a game of water volleyball. If the lazy river is not your style, you can even try the new surfing machine just like we've seen on the cruise ships, or take a ride down any one of the five different water slides. I've only tried three of them myself, but I'm sure some of you guys would really go for that adrenaline rush of the other two. Check out some of the pics if you like , but definitely make it a point to go and check out Liberty Lagoon for yourselves in person.
Great place for the kids.
Should build another location. 2 hrs waiting in line for entrance. Ridiculous!! Put our tax dollars to work.
wonderful place to bring the kids very cute an fun the lime wait was long for 3 in the afternoon but it only lasted 20 min
Good place to go for a family outing but make sure you leave at a decent time cause the line can get real long that's a fact
my kids love it here
Great thing they do for the Dogs annually!
Went for the first time today it was nice and fun minus a few issues. 1. The food took forever 30 minutes for a hamburger. You couldn't even hear the people taking orders and calling order numbers. 2. 30 minutes to just get a diet coke is insane. That was after I ordered it. 3. Constantly getting hit by kids not being aware of other people around them. I had one kid basically hit my throat while I was trying to exit the vortex pool. 4. This one is the biggest issue. IT WAS COOLER OUTSIDE THAN IN THE BATHROOMS. It was so bad that sweated more in the bathroom than waiting in line to get in. Please please please work on a better ventilation system for the bathrooms.
Had a great time with the family
Excellent fun place!
Great for kids
Staff was very friendly and professional. My daughter fell and scraped her little knee in the parking lot and they had no issues with helping her. They were also very cautious of the weather to keep everyone safe and protected. I would …
Pretty nice place, just a little small & the lines for food are horrible. Waited in line for 2 hours just for a burger.
The only thing I didn't like was when I went inside, i forgot my sons pullups for him to wear home once he was done in his swimmers, and they wouldn't let me go to car and get his dry ones and reenter without repaying another entry fee, even tho we were just going to get him dressed then leave. #BS. Needless to say, I had to dress him in the parking lot once we got to car. Pards in denham doesn't seem to mind, so I think I'd just rather go there. Besides the attitudes of employees kinda suck. No big deal tho right. Lol
after 10 minutes of being there it began to rain lightening loud people were everywhere when asked about a rain check we were told they didnt officially close yet were asked to get out the park standing near the front building for over 30 minutes in the rain with my 4 kids while there crying scared of lighting I continued to ask the manager for a rain check please showing him a recipe proving I was there 10 minutes before they asked everyone to get out the park and he continue. to tell me they wasnt officially closed we just stood in rain in lightening until they saw fit to give us rain checks that's not how you treat kids people period
The facility is not big enough for the demand. Facility filled to compacity within an hour or two after opening on weekends.
Love it!! Just wish the lifeguards/ monitors would be a little more strict in the kiddie area. Bigger kids should not be allowed. They splash and knock over the littles.
Kids had a blast....great environment!! Pools probably could use more chlorine....lol other than that, GREAT PLACE!!!
Fun family place.
This is a very nice water park and the price is right!
This place is like a paid for jail. Highly recommend going to a different water park. Food over priced and they only cooked with a microwave. Park is not ran properly kids run all over the place with no control. Everyone was told to get out …
Had a great time with my family. Very kid friendly for all ages. Food wasn't great, but all in all we had a great time
Yeah i know this place and Its close to my school, Woodlawn Elementray School. Its on Baton Rouge, Lousiana 70817
They don't focus on important shot records for dog day.
Great time with the famy would love to go again
6 years of great summer fun for all ages!
Had a great time artive before they open because you may not get in
Awesome water park at an inexpensive price. Customer service need to be worked on. We had an awesome time.
Fun place, just enjoyed the end of season "paw party", our dogs had a blast!
Fun, good food, friendley staff, and everything was clean. Credit Cards in the consession stands a plus. Tax was included in the menu prices. Taking the kids again.
It was a fun place to go
Wonderful place for our kids. A lot of variety and they keep it clean
Had a blast, was well worth the low price. Slides were fun, there was enough to do. Skip the food, or just get nachos with extra cheese, no complaints.
Very nice place First time at your water park You employee unity was awesome very polite Because I am a smoker and she was friendly and asked me not to smoke because their was no smoking at the water park or on your property One thing that I do suggest is if you don’t want smoking on the property To please put up signs and make them bigger so people could see them I did not see any signs posted It not a problem just post the sign Me and my daughter and grandchildren really enjoyed are Day you have a awesome park
My family and I waited two hrs outside because they were pack to capacity. So we had to wait till people leave to be allow inside
Park was fun by staff in the food court really had Nasty Attitude .I will eat before going there again.
Had a great time! No long lines. Only issue was the no entry policy.
Long wait and very crowded
I like the fact they have a maximum capacity . The park is very small but for the 12$ admission price I guess you get what you pay for . I would have gladly given this a 3 star but there were no pools to swim and lounge in except the lazy river but they had no tubes to rent and it was over crowded .
First time going, had a blast. Brought my 4year old nephew, he absolutely loved it! It was hard getting him out the water. Not too overwhelming for him, which I liked. We had fun and we will be back!
Great inexpensive way to enjoy these hot summer days! Foods a little pricey and some staff is rude but the ones with the "i actually enjoy my job attitudes" make up for the rudeness of the other staff! ☺️ nice get away for the family
Stayed in line hours, still didn't get in
It was great the kids had fun!
We were turned away because someone pooped in the pool and shut the place but took our money anyway.
The line was to long and it was hot. We had to wait an hour and a half just to get in. It was crowded, you couldn't do nothing. Lastly you couldn't find a parking space.
Great time there
Way over compacity. The line was ridiculous, and took an hour and a half to get in. If it were possible to give a water park 0 stars, this park would be first on the list. The staff are rude, and the accommodations are amateur at best.
been to two dog parties there and they were so fun
We always have good family fun here!
We had a blast!
Manger denials threw the food at me then the foosnwas freezing cold manger super rude and racist.
Fun place
Great place for smaller children.
The kids love this place
Had a blast... My daughter said this is the only water park she ever wants to go to
Shoulder to shoulder w everyone. No re entry. But the staff was nice. And the place was clean.
They fill capacity at 11:40 a.m. and cannot get in. Will keep you standing in line for hours until another family leaves. Keep in mind they open at 10am and most people get there at 10 and stay all day. Just trying to warn others so they don't have to go through what we went through. The staff is rude and inconsiderate and does care. Will not let you bring water or anything into the park other than a towel basically. They take so long searching bags it's ridiculous.
They need to add more things expand the land
The longest lines where to get in and concessions. Great fun for all ages. Can't wait to go back.
They Are Awsome people well organized & well kept together . They do things in a professional manner when it comes to handling different situation . thanks Liberty Lagoon
Love it very much for family of all ages
Just learned about this waterpark this year and my son and I absolutely loved it we have been back 3 more times since can't wait until next year.
Nice place to being kids for fun.
I love this place. It's very family oriented. I bring my kids every summer. Not expensive either.
It was great for my child
OMG this water park in Baton Rouge was so much fun. It is a place for the whole family to enjoy!! The price was only $12 dollars and the food was very reasonable n tasty.. I really recommend this family fun park to everyone..
It was very nice and had a real good time.
The water is clean, towels are provided, and it is possible to supervise all of the kiddy pool area as well as the deeper end of the regular pool from the hot tub.
I give Liberty Lagoon 5 stars ONLY because my kids seemed to have enjoyed themselves. I could go on to express my thoughts but the outing wasn't for me.
I do recommend going about an hour before opening in order the get chairs to sit with umbrellas. Lines form early. The grounds were very nice and well taken care of. Please be aware that they do not take bills larger than a 20. The concessions are reasonably priced as well. Excellent and affordable daytime family outing.
I WILL NEVER GO BACK! I could not get on any slides due to ear piercings, belly rings AND WEDDING BANDS!. Sure, i can take them out but one can not be removed and ring can not come off BUT there were younger girls with same peircings that were able to go down the slides..JUST NOT ME! Lifeguards were rude and wearing big ear rings and chains AND Bandannas over their mouths but yet were able to go down slides when changing stations. Stepped on thumb tacks (plural) when in the lazy river. Told the life guard, he shrugged and said ok and looked the other way. Could not walk outside to smoke/get something out of car or you have to pay to get back in. The kiddie part was ok thats about it!! Dont even waste your money, sure its cheap ($12.00) to get in but cheap is what you get..believe me!
We took the kids for one last summer adventure before school started.. very clean ..prices extremely reasonable. My boys spent all day on that wave runner machine.. and my girls floated. We will definitely go back.
Normally, this is a great place to visit because it has enough slides to keep older kids occupied for the most part, good area for small children, and the park is small enough to see everything if you make a 360° turn. The bad part about …
The kids really enjoyed themselves. We will be back for the fun again soon.
Amazing swim part for kids of all ages and adults as well. Took my family and my 1.5 y/o twins LOVED it. Only problem we saw was not enough tubes but I'm sure we could have brought our own as well.
Super nice, very family oriented and very reasonable prices.
Family friendly and good service
Great price for all day fun for the kids
Gr8 for young kids
Line is ridiculous on one person at register and the line is to the street definitely not returning
Had great time my grandson said everyone was nice to him
Great place to bring the little ones!
Great family place! I've been there twice & would go again!
CARDS ACCEPTED If you have kids under 4feet I would uggest to not come. Can't get on ANY of the slides if under 48inches, not even with Adult present. I read some comments about the whole piercings gotta take them off and it's true, gotta take it all off....kind of dumb tbh. All kids was able to do was pool, little water park playground and the little floaties walking course. It's nice and cheap but those are the cons ^^^
Love the place so much
Over crowded. Honestly not much to do if your child is under the 48" mark.
Nice for price, great availability of lockers, covered seating and shade, the attractions are limited, and it's $5 extra dollars to knee board on the wave machine, and the food at concession is decent and fairly priced. Overall a good experience but not 5 star good.
They should have a smoking area for Smokers
Had an awesome time. Only thing is you have to arrive early if you want to have a good time they can only accommodate a certain amount of people so it fills up fast and you have to wait outside after that until people come out so you can go in.
Awesome family fun with affordable prices
Great local Summer Fun!
Affordable BREC water park. No fun rides are available for the kids under 50 feet. I am curious why some guys wear underwear inside swim pants.
Weekdays are perfect...not too crowded
Kids love it
The price is reasonable and my girls had a good time. Only three rides but pleasant and family oriented
It was fun
It was nice I relax in the sun with my kids and grandkids
Was ok but overcrowded. They don't let you go back out without paying again to get in, even if you forget something in your car. Ride operators were friendly, but it took 35 minutes to get fries.
Food prices horrible, water was filthy, everyone out of control kids just running crazy! The whole staff is rude and can't even bring in a bottle of water for infants! Totally horrible it could be Free not worth it at all!!!
It's a good place to have fun whith kids we loved..
We have been here twice. The first time was a blast but it was opening weekend and wasnt too crowded. The second time we went, we stood in line for an hour, very rude police officers made us move the line and basically stand right next to the highway with small children. It was SO packed that we were literally shoulder to shoulder with people in the lazy river. Made me very nervous having small kids. It was so packed it was hard to even keep an eye on the kids. The next day we all got sick, my throat hurt and my husband had a rash all over his body and all of our eyes hurt. Once you get inside, you cannot leave so make sure you don't forget anything. They wouldn't even let me go back to the truck to get sunscreen. Also, you can't bring in any food or drink at all. They have just basic concession stand style food and sodas. I would Definitely recommend finding somewhere else to go or save your money and go to blue bayou. We will not be back.
Very fun, despite the size there is still fun to be haved here for a great price
Very nice place for the whole family we had lots of fun thank you Liberty Lagoon
Are you joking?! The line was out to the parking lot! Waste of time.
Y’all up here saying that rude and stuff but I bet all people going back. But anyways it’s a little small theme water park right around the corner that isn’t high.
Kid friendly and great staff.
No I've never been here,,
It was fun but the food is really expensive
My family and I had a great time. I read the reviews on the park before we went and every review was good about the park except for how rude the staff is and I did notice a dislike towards one of the life guards. This only happened because …
Nice friendly family place. Very inexpensive
