This Park corresponds to the category of Amusement park.
My Aunt took me here to hold the baby alligator as being from the UK it's not something I'd ever get to do. The place is so lovely, staff are friendly & go out of their way to create a great family atmosphere. The Gator enclosure is lovely & clean & the baby alligator was so sweet. Will definitely be back when I visit Louisiana again.
This place is so much fun!!! We watched the gator feeding and petted a variety of animals, including kangaroos and mini goats. We also road the Zipline over the gator pen. We held a baby alligator and got some fabulous souvenirs. The staff is super friendly and the park is well kept and beautiful. There are go-carts and pony rides, too. This place is so worth the trip!
Not wheelchair accessible. Don't take a wheelchair person here. I did and no fun. Bummer!!!
Great prices. Greater environment. Kids loved it
Lots to see and do here. Will was super friendly and personable. Really made our experience pleasant and memorable. He deserves a raise ASAP.Thank you!
It was awesome. Grands loved it.
Super fun, my son loved all the animals. The zipline was such a good time, but it was a lot of stairs so that is something to consider.
The animals are cute. The zipline was so much fun.
This is the coolest place we have been to in a while. Our kids had a blast feeding all the animals and riding the ponies. It's very interactive and fun for kids (and adults)of all ages.
Awesome experience! Very laid back.
Second time we came but with a different Grandson this time. Both experiences were greatly enjoyed. Great place to bring your kids....age is no factor!
Always friendly and very helpful! My kids and i love it!
Kids loved the animals
Love all the animals and that you can feed them and pet them.
Good place to enjoy kids feeding animals
It was a very fun experience. I would recommend anyone go there for a day trip. had many animals to pet and were knowledgeable about them.
Had a great time with the kids. Loved the Scottish Highland cow.
This was a lot of fun for the whole family! Definitely would go again!
I enjoyed this place for the most part but the animals seem really bored. The pens barely have anything in them and the pens in the back are really hot with barely any shade. I felt bad for the animals not having a pond or something to play in but maybe the zoo is worried about water moccasins or the animals drowning. It was cool watching the alligators being fed.
Great interaction for the kids and adults both. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Oh my gosh we had so much fun . it's a must to take kids
Wonderful outing...great way to spend an afternoon.
Very good place to visit been there with my granddaughter took my wife's family there when they came to visit from Arizona
Great family environment
Amazing place it’s really well kept; animals are well cared for and look healthy and content.
The family had a great time
Had a blast! We will definitely be back
What an amazing experience!! I recommend all families visit this place and would be an amazing place for field trips and even some alternative wedding ideas. I loved it as an adult and my daughter had an amazing time feeding all the really diverse types of animals. They are all so beautiful. ZIP lines, food, shopping, pony rides, Gators and animal feeding. Take some citronella and tea tree oil to block all bugs/mosquito.
We felt very welcomed by all the friendly staff the moment we walked in. Got to see and feed the animals. We even held a baby gator!!! 7 course zip lining was so awesome they taught us tricks to make it even more thrilling! They have go-karts (we didn't go on due to time) and small gameroom! If you are an adult or child you will want to check this place out!!! If your zip lining call ahead to reserve you spot, they run out of spots!!
I wanted to see alligators while we were in Louisiana, and this was perfect! We watched them feed the alligators and hold a baby alligator. They have a lot of different types of other animals that you can feed while you are there. Definitely worth the visit!!!
I cant wait to go back this was fun. Loved feeding the animals.
Nice place, not too big, but the animals have shade and room. Lots of deer goats and gators. Fun for my toddler to feed them.
A fun little spot. They charge extra for the cups of feed, but worth it. The vist wouldn't be complete otherwise.
Great place for kids, fair prices, clean place.
Very accommodating and friendly staff! Definitely recommend
My family and I had a blast here. And that's saying something, because I am slightly terrified of alligators... The whole park seemed well cared for and there was enough to do to keep us and our kids entertained for 2-3 hours. My only disappointment was that most of the animals had been well fed prior to our arrival and they weren't interested in my kids trying to feed them.
Wagon was kinda hard to pull but we did enjoy our visit, the environment was nice.
Friendly staff and fast go carts
We were passing through looking for a fun place to stop with our Grandchildren. This place did not disappoint. The kids had a great time at the petting zoo and holding a baby alligator. The alligator feeding was fun to watch.
I recommend it to enjoy a day.
Small little zoo. But not really a zoo. Animal selection was small. But it was nice.
Great place for the little ones! My 3 year old loved holding the baby alligator. Clean bathrooms and reasonably priced.
Clean well taken care of. Nice exhibits.
This was such a fun clean place. It didn't smell. Was very family friendly!! Highly highly recommend!!
Great place for family, gator show is pretty cool.
Love how you feed the animals. Cool watching the Gators feed. One cow should have been not included because he comes from a cold climate. Some of the pins need grass on the ground. Has a really cool go cart race track. Also for thrill speakers a zip line.
Great place...grandson loved it
Awesome place! Many gators to view and a lot of other exotic animals here as well. They have a neat little gift shop and also offer zip lining in the park. They just recently added a go cart track that looks really fun but I haven't gotten the opportunity to try it yet.
The animals are sooooo sweet and they recycle!! Which is pretty cool
Always a blast... Zipline is a great time.
They have some interesting animals to see. The gift shop is a bit pricey.
It is a great place for young and old. Lots of shade.
The kids really enjoyed feeding all the different kinds of animals. It's a nice place to visit with family and friends. There is a large shady picnic area to enjoy your lunch. The kids really enjoyed the trip.
Go carts super fun
Took my niece and we had a great time. We got to hand feed and pet different types of animals. I loved the llamas. I couldn't believe the number of alligators they had, and we even got to watch them feed the gators. Additionally, they had a baby gator out that we were able to hold and take a picture with together. Even though we didn't do it, they have pony rides and a zip line. The zip line looks like a ton of fun. I hope to go back and try it some time soon. They also have an awesome go cart track. They do junior, children, and adult races. My niece had a wonderful time on the go carts. It's also not too far from Shreveport. We will definitely be go back.
For less than $10, we saw all kinds of animals up close, fed some, and saw lots of gators. We even held a baby gator. The crawfish pies were good for the price at the Snack Shack. Next time, we'll have to do the zipline over the pool of hungry critters!
What a cool place! There were more types of animals that I was expecting. It’s more interactive than a normal zoo experience. My boys (5 years old) and I loved it.
It was pretty cool and the best part is that it is local and the kids enjoyed it.
This was a very clean zoo/park. My grandkids had a blast. The staff wa very courteous and friendly.
It's much more than just gators, they have ziplines and go carts.
Kids love it! It seems to get better every time we go. It's definitely worth the trip.
Friendly staff. Good for whole family.
Very good place to view alligators in many stages of growth. Large petting zoo of animals
My husband and I went here for the first time a week ago and had a blast. It took about an hour to walk the whole park and feed and pet all of the animals. The gator feeding show was okay, he was just dumping what appeared to be dog food into the gator pen and that's about it, so that wasn't all that great. But they have a couple of different areas where you can see that gators and that's cool! We did the 7-line zip lining and that was a blast! I definitely recommend spending the extra bit of money and doing the 7 lines instead of 4. With that being said, the cost seemed a little high to me. I've never been zip lining before so I'm not too sure how much it usually costs so the price could have been fair after-all but it seemed a little steep. The park was pretty clean given all of the animals around and the staff was super friendly. Plan on going again and maybe trying out the go-karts next!
Super fun! We got to carry a baby gator!
The kids seemed to enjoy it. But I was a bit disappointed. The animals looked weather worn, the pens were mud pits, and the smell was horrible. I was really concerned about all the food pelts the animals were gobbling up out of the mud from where most kids dumped them. But in fairness this was after extreme rains. I'm not an animal expert so maybe the patchy fur was normal. The alligators were okay but for "Gator & Friends," the goats were a bigger hit. It's more about feeding deer and goats.
Amazing time the only thing was bad the prices for the go karats. So expenses
Great place to take the kids. They can feed and pet some of the animals.
This was a great place to take the children! We had so much fun! My children loved holding the baby gators. Can't wait to go back!
Very fun, and the animals were very social, just watch out for the goats they will take all of your food. All In all I was very satisfied
Kids are teenagers now, thought they would think it was for kids but they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Professional staff and very helpful. Great on the budget and we were able to wrestle a full size alligator! No wrestling, but you do get to handle a baby alligator! Animals were happy, kept and know what is in those food cups! Certainly would do again!
Awesome place for a family adventure! Very much worth the drive to see all the animals and it is very worth while to be around for the gator feeding and a getting to hold the baby gator!
The place was very cool. However the workers were less enthusiastic about being there. It seemed like they didn't want to be at there job. The woman cashier was very rude. She kept talking to another coworker and failed to listen to a thing that we were saying. That is not how customer service work is done. Goofing off with fellow workers needs to be last on the list when dealing with customers. The guy feeding the gators was no better he didn't say anything to the crowd and his attitude very much gave the off the impression of ( oh here's another crowd I'm stuck feeding the gators again). Over all the place itself was nice and the animals looked very well looked after.
Such an amazing place we go all the time and are never disappointed!
An awesome break from interstate driving and a bonus: great educational moment! Add it to your list of must-do locations, bring the kids, pet a baby gator, load up the go-carts, and take home some souvenirs.
Kids loved it. Not so much petting as it trying to get the animals to come over and eat from your hand. Watching the Alligators was awesome.
We stopped in Shreveport Louisiana and was looking for something to do with the family, we made reservations for the zip lining adventure and had a great time. We opted for the 7 line package as this was the best value. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and made sure that everything was safe and enjoyable. Stop by and feed the animals and do a little zip lining.
It was entertaining for my two grandsons ages 6 and 2. They rode ponies and fed various animals: goats, deer, ipacs, and any more including a small kangaroo. One highlight was feeding the alligators. It had shade and today a breeze kept it cool. A great stop for one and half to two hours.
Love the family friendly atmosphere
The perfect place to have a party! We purchased the birthday package and are not disappointed... The price, friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the facility, LOTS of animals so much to see and do! Perfect is an understatement will be returning and telling others! May God bless your business richly!
Had a great time, the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Really enjoyed the park with it's many exotic residents.
Gators and friends is an excellent place to take children so they can see and learn about several different animals. All the animals except the alligators and lemurs can be fed. The price is very reasonable. They do have senior rates for those over 59 but they are not advertised so you have to ask. They also have yearly passes available. Along with the animals, they have go karts and zip lining.
Loved it! Very kind people and great service. A good variety of animals and it was really cool to watch them feed alligators. A little expensive for admission and feed but for the experience, it's worth it.
Lady working counter was snarky, you got one job,be nice geez.Other than that it was cool.Family friendly.
My son really enjoyed feeding all the animals and seeing the gators. He's already asked to go back to hold the baby gator again.
Lots of Alligators. Also a lot of other animals. You can feed the animals except the little monkeys and gators. They also have go karts with a nice track and a restraunt.
Cool place my son enjoyed the animals and it was fun to see the feeding of the gators
In my opinion its a great attraction, they have go carts, gators, alpacas, kangaroo, and also a camel you can feed, they allow you to hold a little alligator if you want to and they have back bar souvenir shop and finally a zipline you can over the gator pit. Well werf your money
Very nice exhibit! Small but really nice. I didn't try the zip line but it looked fun.
Our grandkids loved the gocarts and their instructor was the greatest.
Great place for adults and kids. Very helpful employees. My step kids loved the zip line
Good place to take kids. Bring lots of money and a cooler of beverages.
Go carts are great
Great place for family fun! A little over priced to get in but fun. There are pony rides for a price, you can hold a gator, feed kangaroos/deer/sheep/goats. you can see lemurs, zebra, and ponies. There is a snack bar there with basic snacks. It's $8 to get in and about $2 per cup of food. It was good for about 1.5-2 hours of fun.
Very nice place and awesome atmosphere
your pavilion needs more fans . Maybe hung from the ceiling. One doesn’t help at all The highlander didn’t have very much water didn’t look he could even drink it
Really cool place, they have so many animals not just gators. There were deer, goats, llamas, alpacas, emus, donkeys, and more.
Loved it nice place
The operators and all workers are very Friendly and helpful ,you can hold a baby alligator and take pictures at 1pm they feed gators
Realy fun for the family
Must take kids , small place but lot of animals and pony rides for kids.
Just passing thru and glad we stopped. Fed some animals and checked out the gators. The also offer zip lines and go carts. Had a good time with the family. If in the area will probably stop again.
Pretty fun place to take kids
If you are interested in alligators and exotic animals. This is the place to go. My group actually got to see the alligators get fed!!!! You also have the opportunity to hold Georgia, a 5 year old alligator.!
A great place to take the kids . The grownups really enjoyed it also. Only complaint was had to wait for food because not enough employees working but they did the best they could. The did finally get the people that they needed. So we got rested up and our belly's full. All in all it was a GREAT PLACE TO VISIT.!!!
Awesome place to pet some animals
Great experience for my 3 year old!
Feeding the animals is fun. Good experience for young kids. And they got go karts!
Nice place to take children to experience the animals. They can touch, take pictures with gator, and feed many animals. Our children absolutely loved it. Expect to spent about 3 hours there to tour around.
Fun for the kids and adults!
Fun tour and the gokart track was sooo much fun :D
Always amazing. The animals are all so healthy and friendly. Fantastic staff!
I really enjoyed going here with my family this last weekend. There were a lot of animals that smaller kids enjoyed feeding and petting. All the employees were nice and friendly too. Prices are good and on point. They also have zip lining, go carts, and even pony rides. They also have gator shows where you can hold the baby gators. This might not be great for older kids but amazing for the younger ones. I really enjoyed it and highly recommend this place.
My entire family went including my sister from New Jersey and her kids we had a great time. I would suggest going to the earlier feeding in the day to see the alligators eat chicken though
The place is alright!! The animals seem very old tho. The goats were pretty much the only ones to be waiting at the fence to being feed by the visitors!! The deers and the rest of the animals seem to be so miserable there!! Also their fur look like they were not well taken care OR because they were old animals who knows!! We ask if we could do the zipline they told us it was all full! Yet there were more people coming... We gave the park about 2 laps just to finish the cups with food we bought. It wont take long to go trough the whole park. My two kids rode the pony's now you must be really carefully ther is one pony that if you dont hold the rope good it would take the step of it's own and try to run fast the entire place! We saw it happen to this mom and her tottler the pony just took off and the little boy was all crying and scare for his life as mom couldn't get to him!! That was a very scary experience! Anyways we got to hold a small alligator that was pretty exciting experience! Also there were not feeding the alligators because it was cold. We might be coming back when the weather becomes more hot!!
As someone who works at a trampoline park that has a zipline in Lincoln, NE, I was a little worried that I would be bored. But boy was I wrong! Both of our guides were funny and showed us cool tricks as we made our way over the park!
Great price and friendly staff. Awesome day spent there.
Great place to take the kids.
Great place to take your family! Nice staff! The zoo area is our favorite!
This is mostly a great place. The animal's enclosures seem spacious enough and while most animals seem to be well taken care of, some are in need of medical attention. One in such dire need (donkey in pic) that it is obviously not a sudden on-set illness. I have 4 donkeys, so I am speaking from experience. And the gator with leaches on it's back is unnecessary but not so horrible as the poor donkey.
Very friendly and well mannered staff. Took the time to talk to my children about animals and very reasonable prices
We saw gators... petted a few other animals. They offer ziplines and go karts but they're crazy expensive.
The kids really enjoyed watching the alligators eat but they LOVED feeding all the other animals!
I really love this place! This is a very well run operation, very well kept and professional. The prices are very reasonable, I feel like what ever you were to pay it keeps these wonderful animals in such a great sanctuary. They have a go cart race track and a zip line course, both of which look super fun. I'll definitely be going back again and again!
Husband and I drove a few hours to get away and chose this place to go to. It was a great experience! Go carts are a bit pricy 18 dollars for 8 minutes but we had the track to ourselves because the place has it to where you don't have to worry about young riders on the track. The animals were so cute and they had babies that we got to feed. Habitats need to be upgraded though...
Really cool place to visit. Lots to do for the entire family. Reasonably priced. The food at the little concession stand is great. They now have go carts and ziplining. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning!!
Lovely place for kids.
Very cool place to take the kids. They loved feeding all the animals and we even got to watch them feed the alligators!
Visited the park around 3pm. There wasn't a lot of people so we were able to take our time to roam without feeling rushed. My son enjoyed watching the Gators get fed and took a picture with one of the babies. We were able to feed most of the animal that were allowed "treats". The staff was super friendly and helpful. Thank you again to the man that helped us with the Penny stamp machine. My son and I appreciate your kindness.
Fun for the kids. Go-karts were fun to race and watch.
The animals are very cute, the alligators were amazing creatures!
Wonderful place! My little ones loved it, especially feeding the deer and goats. You can feed any animal there except the lemurs and gators, so it's extra fun. Holding the baby gator was an awesome experience for my two year old. There is also zip lining and go carts for the older ones.
Love all the animals! Had two sets of twin baby goats. One literally were just born! Loved feeding the kangaroo. So cool!
Great detour, lots of shady area along the paths, animals always readily awaiting the guests. Always try to stop by when we're crossing states!
Very friendly people!!! Loved the petting zoo and to hold the baby alligator! Feeding all the animals was really fun. Loads of children that go so its definitely family friendly . Theres tons of alligators ! I really enjoyed it
Had a lot of fun feeding the animals. The kangaroos were precious. Hubby and I had a blast.
Nice clean place, very nice people..
Close up and personal experience. You get a large cup of food for great price to feed animals from your hand ostrich most aggressive at eating. Today was able to hold a baby alligator fun way to spend an hour
My kids love it here.
Had my granddaughters 5th birthday here.. She had so much fun!!.. We decorated the room.. had cupcakes, ice cream, juice and lots of gifts.. The staff was friendly and helpful..This was our first time to visit and we will definitely be back for a regular visit..
Clean, well-organized and fun! I'm glad we stopped by here. It's great for kids and adults alike.
Had a great time and took some awesome pics!
Way better than I expected and I cant wait to go back!!
Pine Tree Birch Elementary had a blast.
Awesome place. I loved it.
We took our 4 yr old granddaughter to this place and she enjoyed it. On entering the front to purchase tickets, there is an enormous array of items for purchase such as stuffed toys and t-shirts to name a few, oh and gator parts! I was surprised to see that it was more like a zoo of sorts. Yes, there was a "gator feeding" but nothing too dramatic here. We saw lots of "big ones" swim up to eat what appeared to be dry dog food shaken from a bucket from the bridge up above. Then we leisurely walked around the place to feed the assorted animals. It was very clean there, deer, goats, emus, kangaroos, an ox and a camel, I'm sure I'm missing a few. There were pony rides for those under 50 lbs that you led around. The highlight I must admit was getting to hold the baby alligator. Fun for all ages as I am 56!
Pretty cool place, lots of different animals to feed and pet. They have zip lines throughout the park at an extra cost. We watched the alligators being fed chicken leg quarters, and they have a baby alligator you can hold. Clean restrooms with A/C, and a Concession area that has A/C as well. A little pricey in my opinion at $10/adult, which is why I gave it 4 stars.
Great kid friendly place. Admission price was low. Gift shop very reasonable. I had a great time with grandson.
Great place and great staff, very friendly folks! Will be visiting again.
Loved this for any age. Lots to do for 4 and up.
I wasnt super impressed. One time visit type of deal. Go cart prices, outrageous. Taxed cup of feed to feed the animals is ridiculous. And the animals did not look upkept at all.
It was fun to see many alligators and other exotic animals here. The staffers also were knowledgeable and friendly. There are many charming and interesting animals in the petting zoo as well.
Ocer all a nice experiance. Animals seem happy and no problems (except for lousiana heat) holding an alligator was fun.
Great place for a quick family day that doesn't break the bank
Really nice local place with so many things to do. My 3 year old approves, so do I!
Great place to take kiddos for a couple of hours. Got to hold a baby gator and see many different animals. Was very awesome. Nice clean park and awesome gift shop!
Very friendly staff and plenty of animals to feed and pet. The animals seem well taken care of and the facility is kept nicely. We took our three year old daughter and she had a great time. The go cart track is also a blast for older kids and adults and the arcade located by the tracks has great games. 10/10
The kids had fun and the food was reasonably priced and good.
Small place but relatively nice. Getting to hold a baby gator... Awesome.
