REVIEWS OF Audubon Park IN Louisiana

Gregory Guarisco

This park is really great. There is a walking path that goes either direction and a dedicated bike path going only one direction. Lots of trees, uptown homes, water, and a golf course are a few things to look at while on the trail. There are always people there so it’s pretty safe. One of my favorite things is that it takes you away from the busy city life in Nola.

Marti Thornton

We had an amazing time. Such a great place. Unlike the aquarium! Skip the aquarium the workers we encountered at the. Front door, and the pictures and ticket lady their attitudes were horrible. I think they forget without guests they have no job there!! The attitudes were mind blowing. every zoo worker we came in contact with was very helpful and courteous.

John P

This is a world class zoo in the middle of old New Orleans. You will see beautiful landscaping along with new and old buildings and enclosures. The animals seem to be very entertained and not looking depressed. They are always improving the exhibits so revisiting the place is encouraged. They have an area focused on Louisiana wildlife and it is terrific.

Michael Young

Nice public park for strolling, not far from Tulane. Plenty of free parking along the street too.

Jim Starnes

Great place to take a short break while driving for Uber and Lyft, or for taking longer walks. Very safe.

Jeremy Emerman

Beautiful park. Really nice trails through the middle. Places to sit and lots of squirrels

Andrew Blair

This was the coolest zoo we have ever visited. All the animal exhibits were amazing. Even the food was good for zoo food. We had the gator bites and cheeseburger.

Robin

Great zoo! Animals seem happy and well-cared for! The park is clean and spread out enough that even when there's a lot of people, it doesn't seem crowded. It's a must when visiting New Orleans!

Mark Manno

This without a doubt the prettiest park in New Orleans, it is open and clean, you really need to go out and check out the quad area by the Mississippi River, it has limited levee area so you can get up close to the river, the views of the river and the westbank are great and you feel like the boats are within arms reach as they pass by, this is a great place to picnic, grill, play games etc. Etc. A really nice green space.

Deborah Flitcroft

Lovely park. Tortoises in the lake are nice to look at when they bob their heads up

Mia Ponthieux

The zoo is the best i have seen in a long time

Oswaldo Oliva

Super beautiful place for anyone who likes sightseeing and nature.

Cynthia Goodmon

Back to School event, free entry, typical fast food, expensive

Jason Kirby

I definitely wouldn't recommend this to anyone out for a stroll. If you have a car or a bike that's fine. But don't expect to get from one part of the park to another by foot (even if you're okay with the distance) because it's not designed that way.

Mary Michelet

Such a wonderful and clean park. The park has installed to play areas as well as workout equipment for every range of skill. The play equipment is so different then any other park that my son and I have been to. They really thought outside of the box to create such amazing features. The location is perfect and absolutely gorgeous. Plenty of ducks, geese and birds to feed as well as bathrooms, picnic pavilions, and plenty of trees with ample shade to lay under, climb or even set a hammock in.

Unique Lee

Always love this park for so many different activities - kids play, leisurely walk, observing nature. However, reserving a pavillion for a 2 hr kid's party is obscenely expensive

Bea Polanco

Very beautiful park next to Loyola and tulane. Great place to go long boarding with friends

Edward Farrell

Nothing can facilitate imagination the way this variety of perspective may. Not only will I go again, I'm upset I haven't been back sooner.

Eddie Polizzi

Nice place for family to get together nice place to have a picnic great if the weather is nice and lots of friendly people and things to do great place to bring your pets if you have them they used to rent horses and go horseback riding but they don't have it more people need to request it so maybe they'll bring it back again anyway it's a good place to go visit check it out you have a great time with your family

Jill Hancock

Audubon Park is an amazing community asset! Free 2 mile loop of walking/jogging/biking/dog walking surrounded by beautiful trees. There are bathrooms and water fountains and lots of ducks. Tons of open grassy areas for picnics or just hanging out. Parking can suck especially on the St. Charles side if you're parking on the street so try the lot on the Magazine side or just bike there and don't worry about parking ;)

Felix D. Katz

What a great urban park. I run it's paved track. And perimeter off road track. I like to take my boys 2-3 to the 3 playgrounds as a daily lap. very worth it

Ricky Youngs

It is a great place to walk to to get through to the Audubon Zoo. It has very large populations of native birds and swampy in swampy areas that are known for Louisiana.

Kevin Nesby

Loved seeing the new animals and revamped Lion exhibit. Only complaint was the heat

John Weiss

Great day. We had a blast.

Arkadet Luangkumpusin

Nice park with oak trees and golf course. We jog almost everyday when we stay in New Orleans.

Blackard Cleaning

All of the staff was nice and great gift shop. Love the different species of animals. Very easy to navigate.

Nicola Postle

I absolutely loved the park. So beautiful and spectacular. My favourite part was the rhino. I'd never seen one before.

Edlyn D'Souza

What a marvelously laid out park in New Orleans. It's a respite from a humid day and an oasis for city folks. There are running, walking and biking lanes that go around the park. Pockets of nature and serenity are all along the path, beckoning you to sit down and think about life for a while. The oak trees are magnificent, keeper of secrets over hundreds of years. There are restrooms and water fountains too, if you need any of the two essntials. There is also a children's park if you need them to get their zoomies out. Highly recommend a visit during your stay in Nola.

Ethan Kossover

Awesome park surrounding the golf course. Love the running/biking path around it. Lots of scenery and wildlife hanging around.

David King

A park above all other parks. With clean play areas for kids, swings not broken and trash cans not overflowing with trash. A wide paved track big enough for walkers, joggers and bicyclist and lots to see as you lap around the lake.

Karen Filos

It is so tranquil and a great walk with a Beautiful View!

Emilia Batchiyski

Beautiful park in the heart of New Orleans. Whether you want to ride a bike or just relax in the shade of the old trees, there is something for everyone.

Kristen Taylor

One of my most favorite places in the city. Take a visit and you can easily see why.

Mark T

Nice park for a run with an excellent paved trail. Was here for a 5K and it was probably the flattest 5k I have ever run.

Michelle Agregaard

I had a great time with my family at the Audubon Zoo. The zoo was clean and the employees were friendly. We always enjoy going to the Audubon Zoo.

Joshua Pequeno

I love our zoo!! It was great when I was a kid and now that I have kids, it's even better. I love the fact that I got to watch the zoo grow from the little zoo it was to what it is now. I will always love and support our zoo and the Audubon Nature Institution.

Glenda Pittman

It is awesome. We had baseball tournaments there. They were so clean and enjoyed the sights of park and Mississippi River

Lynette Bolden

It is a good place to take kids. It is pricey! And hot☀️

CrystalGKT glittery

Loved this place so much fun. clean, lots of wonderful animals

Janice Fortia

I love all the work we've had done on our park. The drive up Magazine Street reminds me of my childhood trips to the park.I love the old oak trees and the whole Uptown Vibe.

Bradley Weisz

Great park; well maintained!

Lacy Adams

Always a great place to come and enjoy nature away from the hustle of the city

Greg Caro

A Gem in every aspect...Fresh air, nature, humans being human and enjoying mother nature in her natural surroundings

Raymond Sweet

Nice park. Great trees. Great places to sit. You do need mosquito spray. They have a nice underused pavilion. There is also a golf course. Sometimes I think it's dangerous to walk near the golf course even though I have never been hit. There are two paths one closer to the homes and one closer in. There are a few gym stops for push ups, pull ups, climbing, step ups etc etc. There is also a bike path. There is a place for children to play. And it's labeled for the age groups. Turtles and birds to watch. Please stop feeding them people, but whatever.

Jeanee' Dupree

Was here for the NAMI walk and Audobon Park was a great host

Dixie Cheramie

I feel there sould be more interaction with the animals, lime maybe someone standing out with a snake that visitors can touch at the snake attraction or someone with a trained, talking bird to show at bird attraction.

Carl Behr

Beautiful park with tons of live oak trees. A great space to bike, jog or just chill by the ponds.

Jerrica Richards

we enjoyed it on a field trip but we will go back to have more time

Gregory Boyd

Beautiful with huge oak trees some over a century old. Great shade, must see Tree of Life very grand.

W. D.

2 best parks in America. Audubon Park and Kent Falls State Park. Audubon Park--love the running trails, the golf course, the beautiful oaks, the enchanting houses, the people, really everything about it!

Scott K

A beautiful and historic park. Great informative exhibits, wonderfully landscaped. Full of huge old growth trees, and tons of flowering plants. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Jenna Steingress

Beautiful park with a lot to see! Highly reccomend getting a bike, scooter or golf cart.

Jet Set

1.5 mile circular walking/biking trail. Beautiful oaks and golf course. I've been going my whole life. I would make sure any kids are with an adult at all times to assure safety.

Violet Vx

Great place to run and enjoy a good evening walk.

Alfred F.

Great for a walk or a bike ride. The workout stops aren't bad either.

Flora Davis

My summer camp students really enjoyed themselves!

Ryan Loewen

Awesome place! Play ground for the kids includes a handicap swing! A wheel chair ramp is currently under construction to easily push strollers and wheel chairs onto the sidewalk from the street. Jogging track for running and bikes!

Keith Roussel

Somewhere to take the kids for a great outing. As for me, I have great memories here of when I was a kid but now, it just seems mediocre. Having visited the Serengeti, held baby lions and tigers in Indonesia, ridden elephants and camels, coming here just doesn't seem as invigorating as it once was. Now that doesn't mean that kids won't appreciate it. They certainly will, I just wasn't overly impressed on my most recent visit. I suppose I am also comparing this to the Fort Worth Zoo which I visited shortly before revisiting the Audubon Zoo. The highlight of my visit was the crawfish balls that I ate at the restaurant near the alligator exhibit.

Dominique Young

Loved it! Chaperoned my nephews field trip and it brought back so many memories when eating lunch there. Always one of my fav places to make me happy

Angela Dang

Very nice park for jogging/walking/bicycling. Other than those activities, not much going on in this park. I don't see it worth the trip for tourists unless you have kids & want to come to zoo here. I prefer City Park better which bigger & with interesting statues & flowers.

Nick Lucas

Great place, safe, kind people, beautiful park with plenty of space for runners cyclists and walkers

Robert Tack

Great for any type of outdoor workouts.

Luis Alberto Velazquez Borjas

The perfect place to go for a jog. Most of the running trail is covered in trees so you will not get as exposed to the sun in hot days. The space is pretty, plenty of people bring their children on the weekends to relax and go for a walk. It is also a good place to go sight seeing.

Dani Ro

The park is great, people tend to respect the trail and it's dog friendly. It doesn't have any kind of pet stations so bring your own bags. Parking can be tricky and difficult - do not park in the golf house area there's a small sign that says you'll get towed!!

Juju JBS

Fro the price I was thoroughly under impressed. The space is large and beautiful, but they need more animals for one and there no I'm formation given on the animal. I'm from St. Louis and I'm used to having an exquisite Zoo for free, but with name Audubon I expected more!!!

Ruthfee Zota

Best park ever! I go running there a couple times a week. Glad its uptown! Cancelled my gym membership because of it.

Sarai Solis

I love this park, and the location is perfect. You can do some many activities in the park and around the park. You also have the zoo right there. I love this park to run because it has a lot of trees that provide great shade.

Dana Bravata

We absolutely loved the zoo and the aquarium! My son really loved the plastic created animal sculptures because even tho he is five he is very passionate about saving the fishes. He loves the ocean, animals and wildlife. Thank you so much for an amazing experience with the beautiful Christmas lights, letter box to Santa and the beautiful peacocks walking around majestically.

Troy McKinney

Very challenging golf course. Do not let the short yardage fool you. This is a tough course.

Celia

Nice place to walk, run. Beutiful view.

Dave Brown

Beautiful park and excellent biking/walking trails. Taking the short loop all the way around is a good way to spend a couple hours relaxing.

Guy Shoshani

Be sure to come early, great guides good vibes

Desire' Minaj Trumbaturi

I love the zoo it is a good family place tu have a good time

Ian Slattery

I love this park its nice and quiet. Always friendly people.

Greg Crump

Took a Sunday stroll on a Tuesday afternoon through the park. Saw a sweet swing to rest my body upon. Very pretty flowers and landscaping. I liked it.

Maurice Thaler

Nice zoo very kid engaging

Terisa Reinholtz

Too many bees, bees, bees! If you're allergic or afraid of bees, this is not the place for you! Every time I needed to throw my trash out there were bees around the trash can. I don't care about the zoo's reason for bees. I care about my mental health more. I'm afraid of bees. Not designed for easy viewing for the handicapped. Great old fashioned taffy.

Brian Franco

One of the better parks we visited in NOLA. The tree of life is pretty cool seeing it is over 200 years old.

Kathy Vanderslice

We loved the Audubon Zoo and Park. There was so much to see it took us the whole day. Great place for the whole family.

Hospitality Of New Orleans

This park is an an absolutely gorgeous park. The Oak trees and the walking trails are so peaceful. A great place to have bike ride with family or friends.

Malinda Bowling

Great place!! The black bear was my favorite

Bella Noir

It's a really peaceful environment, which is no surprise sense Audubon is one of the most affluent neighborhoods in New Orleans. Great place to jog, bring your dog, bike, walk, amd even picnic. If you sit by the lagoon where the gazebo is, and look into the water, the fish and turtles come to say hi! And the Zoo is right across the way

Andrea F

Ponds with ducks, walking paths, tea room, golf course, picnic tables, there is just so much beauty here that it almost hurts my heart. Old oak trees, old homes, so much history. Come, take a look. Sit and read a book. This will always be one of my favorite places.

Clare Maillian

I love everything about Audubon Park and the Zoo. Can be in a peaceful environment with lots of trees. I like to walk on the track. Nothing like fresh air! The Zoo is first class! And I love the park behind the Zoo, on the River Batture. All are well-maintained, safe, and very clean.

GTK Mike C

The perfect setting for a lunch with a friend. Right across the street from Tulane University and Loyola University of New Orleans campuses. So you might even meet some cool college students. Good place to run, jog, take the kids, or bring friends and just set up your own game. Surrounded nice homes and beautiful trees with history, you can enjoy yourself in many ways. And definitely would be a joy if your out of town person or just a local.

Lisa Olscamp

Beautiful park! Great place to hike, run or ride bikes! There is a large pond, benches and picnic tables for family outings. Highly recommend for a nice day outdoors with your family and loved ones! We hope to be back down there again someday!

Marilynn Fryer

Beautiful park with walking and bike path, fitness stations, and restroom facilities.

Jessie moore

Anyone can't ever complain about the zoo

Megan Turner

Audubon Zoo blew my mind away. At almost $19 a ticket (online price) I was expecting a small one hour trip zoo. I was happily proven wrong! They had a ton of magnificent animals and although it is not as big as the San Diego zoo, the experience sure felt like it was. The food prices inside the zoo was not over priced like most attraction places and there is this neat train inside the zoo that you can ride for only $5 until 4:30. 15/10 recommend this trip for not only families, but even if you are traveling by yourself! Absolutely love this zoo.

Peter Carlesimo

The Audubon Park (not to be confused with the Audubon Zoo (officially and on maps: Audubon Nature Institute)) is spectacular. Great for kids, adults, those young at heart....anybody who loves nature and all of the serenity nature brings. As the photos show, there are trees, bushes, birds, reptiles of all kinds; as well as great nooks to look for lizards (as my kids were doing) and running, playing, walking, skipping, riding bikes....you name it! The best part is that it is so close to the Audubon Zoo as well as to the Magazine Street corridor which has tons of cool shops, restaurants, ice cream shops, etc. You can definitely make a day of it! All kinds of fish can be seen but it is so cool to catch a glimpse of that “living fossil” the Alligator Gar.

Will Scott

Any time day or night I'm happy to be in Audubon Park.

John Maske

The Audubon Park Zoo is among New Orleans' world class attractions. With major exhibits including elephants, orangutans, a large primate exhibit, and a fan favorite, the Louisiana Swamp exhibit. Unlike a lot of other zoos I have visited, Audubon's commitment to reinvestment in the facility is apparent throughout. Many exhibits including the elephants, orangutans, and a new bat exhibit are new, and a new habitat for the lions is currently under construction, and looks amazing so far. I would definitely plan an entire day for first time visitors. While a decent amount of free parking is available, it fills up quickly on sunny weekend days, so be prepared for that.

Joshua Smith

Great zoo. Brought the family last month. They could work on the in park transportation. Not enough room on train for everyone to ride and very long wait times between rides. All the exhibits where we'll maintained. Food courts could get some better food. All the food was cafeteria quality.

M K

My daughter loves the zoo! Do glad we made it to the cool zoo last week !!! (Growing up in the 90s tho I do miss the McDonald's)

xXGalaxies PlazeXx

It isn't a animal place but it's fun to relax and have fun events

East West USA TV Around The World 環遊世界

好地方。Very interesting.Nice place. I like here.

Very beautiful and relaxing place to walk around.

Jason Frazier

J Castillo

I absolutely love coming here. Beautiful park and really big. There is a lot for the whole family to do.

A. Marie King

An amazing place! Worth the time and the cost! Can't wait to go again

Matt Daniel

Great park! I recommend checking out the zoo.

Emily Clarrey

Nice size park near the Zoo!

David Fore

One of the most beautiful parks! I especially like the effort they made to be bee and butterfly friendly.

Jessy Amane

This is literally like the Six Flags amusement park of zoos! So cool. Lots of endangered animals. Definitely need a few hours to walk the whole park.

Sai rama9

This place is good to visit if you have time. The primary vising spots are AUDUBON ZOO, AUDUBON Aquarium. Beside that you can go for 2 WATER tours 1) HONEY ISLAND SWAMP TOUR 2) GRAY LINE SWAMP & BAYOU TOUR at 400 TOULOUSE ST, NEW ORLEANS LA 70130. 3) French Quarter, Bourbon street, Royal Street, CAFE DE MONDE, Museum at french Quarter, Jackson Square, RED FISH SEA food restaurant etc are main attractions we have visited. i recommend these places.

Kurt T. Bellow, Jr.

Great zoo! Enclosures are open and clean. Animals have tons of space. Dining here is great too. Fun for the whole family. They also offer annual memberships.

Michael Freeland

Our son Christopher was a Junior Zoo Keeper for many years while in Jr & High School. This Zoo is one of the best Zoo's in the Country. A must see and enjoy. Every year the Zoo improves or adds something exciting to the exhibits and experience. If you went a few years ago you must go again. We have many memories on Monkey Hill with our kids and enjoying the taffy cart too!!!

Steve Henson

Had a grand time at the New Orleans zoo. Spending time with my daughter n her family was so much fun. The zoo was perfect.

Ada Ngozichi Aham

This park has beautiful oak trees. Actually one of the oak trees is 800 years old. Oak trees are naturally beautiful work of it. You can run, jog, ride a bike, flaneur or just sit by the fountain, read a book and delight in a beautiful day.

Rachel Smith

Just walking around in this beautiful park is like being in a paradise.

Adam Kay

Beautiful Park designed by John Charles Olmsted, the adopted son of Frederick Law Olmsted, the designer of New York's Central Park. For over a decade this has been my favorite location in New Orleans for picnics, exercise, and getting together with friends for various casual sports.

JuJu Be

I am a travel agent, I contacted the department of tourism about my trip and I got tickets for myself and a friend. This is my 2nd trip to Nola and 2nd time at the zoo . I love zoo's and this is really nice. It's really clean and organozed. Love it.

David Shell

Just a nice place to sit and enjoy the scenery

Derrick Jamieson

Great for young children, I was not impressed with the overall park. Fewer animals in the park then I would have expected. But still great for a young family with children.

Audrey Warren

Audubon Park boasts beautiful old oak trees and lush green vegetation. Walking paths are all over. Pleasant atmosphere and nice spot for picnics. Just watch out for the fowls!

Amadeus Liu

it is a fun park and is very big. The zoo is nice as well, but it is a long walk from the street car.

Kurtis Kozel

Designed by the son of the famed Frederick Olmestead, whose firm designed not only the 1893 Columbian exposition in Chicago but the beautiful Central Park as well, I am confused as to where the landscape and upkeep went wrong. I am not sure where the funding comes from, but with Tulane, Loyala, and one of the richest parts of town (The Garden and Business districts) surrounding it, I am absolutely befuddled as to why it does not have the splendor of a park befitting of its magnitude and history. The bones are there: the lagoon sidles along the eastern portion, beautifully fitting gazebos dot the landscape, and portions have been obviously well crafted with foliage and ponds complimenting the natural beauty and walkways that sprawl through the edges of the park. This all makes me wonder why it does not have the sculpted iron masterpieces, or detailed buildings, hermitages, or gateways one would expect from a park that once housed not only the worlds fair, but the largest roofed structure the world had ever seen. A little picnic building with a water fountain that tastes of accumulated rust stands too proudly at the entrance of this massive tract of land. More so, the entire center of the northern portion is allotted to an ill shaded golf course, and the southern section is dominated by a zoo -- which, while fitting, does little to contribute its beauty to the park as the Central Park Zoo does to its own namesake. Is this not the Crescent City? The largest city in Lousiana, the mother of Jazz, the city that at certain points in time held one of the largest populations in the south, one of the largest ports in the US, and handled a third of America's cotton? I can only hope that the money they neglected to spend on their parks was well spent on infrastructure elsewhere, because little sign of it still stands in Audabon.

Crystal Kennedy

Somewhere to go, get an experience and learn something. Happy that the park is expanding.

Larry Donnaud

GREAT park to do about anything your little Hart desires and then some kids grandchildren & you ❗

Sarah Albrecht

This park is beautiful with many great things to do. Love the oak trees and Spanish moss. Enjoyed sitting by the pond.

Jeremy Howard

Excellent place to have a picnic. Always love visiting here. Just make sure you leave before the mosquitoes come.

kimberly harris

The atmosphere of the zoo was awesome, but the activity of the animals was not so awesome.

Tariq Ramadan

Zoo is pretty sweet.lots of animals.great for kids.

Breanna Mcgowen

We held our family reunion at this park and we loved it! It was very hot, but there was plenty of shade and trees. There's plenty to see and do. There's trails, a golf course, more than one playground, zoo, etc. We were right across from Tulane University and we parked right off the street. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. If you're in New Orleans, I would DEFINITELY recommend Audubon Park if you're a nature person.

Bob Byrd

A gorgeuos park! Wonderful landscaping, beautiful trees, plenty of open areas, well kept bike and foot track. A wonderful view of the Loyola Church that romanticizes the building. The only caveat to the park is a section of the trail that is unprotected from the golf course.

Cara Arneecher

They only had maps in Spanish and the online app didn't work with android. Overall, the park was nice and the keepers were very knowledgeable.

john white

Had a great time walking thru the Park. The birds weren't out in force but the turtles sure were. The weather was perfect as we walked the waterline. All the police horses had their heads out of their stalls & the tree of life was bustling with little rugrats running all around.

MrsDangerClose1

Recommend you go while it's cool outside but very fun and very family friendly definitely going back soon!!

Human Behavior

What an awesome park... Must see if your in New Orleans.

Pamela D

This zoo is amazing! We get membership every year! Cant wait for lion exhibit to open

Janelle Middleton

I love this zoo! It is my favorite...none other compares. I came here as a child, and it is just as great an adult.

Stacey Akinlosotu

Resonated a different Zoo enjoyed my visit. Some of the animal exhibits are still under construction

judy noel

So much to see and do here, luv it!

Linda Doucet

Nice and pretty park. Just make sure when its hot and you are getting off the St. Charles streetcar wait for the zoo shuttle if thats what you are wanting.

Craig Sellers

We had a great time.

Alan Berg

Beautiful park. Lots of places to sit in peace.

Emily c

My 11 year old love it❤

Mik Wilmot

Tucked away at this great park. Field is great and we loved it.

Reed Brignac

I don't know how there could be a better zoo than ours. We love it. Gorgeous scenery. Ancient oak trees and beautiful gardens.

Kelly Avants-Brogdon

No security camera in the parking lots & cars get stolen & windows smashed in for your personal belongings

Carol Zastrow

Under some construction while we were there, so not always pretty. We had very limited time here, as we were on a schedule, but the animals were plentiful and easy to spot. Enjoyable, but quick visit.

Donald Summerhays

Perfect time to go. It was not too hot and got to see most of the animals. It was nice seeing the lions. And our daughter was super excited to see the zebra. It was also nice seeing the goats and be able to interact with them like that. A very rewarding experience. I just wish we lived a little closer.

Trevor Brooks

Beautiful Park. The folks that maintain it do a great job! They're there every morning picking up tree branches, blowing leaves and removing trash. I love running the two mile loop.

James Hodges

I was SO disappointed after driving 2hrs to get here. Idk WHAT is going on but the area is severely lacking in every regard. The ZOO was a BIG disappointment. Parking was terrible. Not enough handicapped parking. I had to park a 1/2 mile away so I WAS exhausted BEFORE I even got to the front gate. Variety of animals was lacking. NEXT TIME I WILL GO TO THE BATON ROUGE ZOO.

David G

Park is huge and has many playgrounds for the kiddos. Plenty of water and places to walk and run. Bathrooms were clean and there were beautiful fountains and statues. There is work out equipment thru out the park as well.

Nichole Robichaux

As always a great visit. Enjoyed seeing the animals on a cold day, many were very active. They've got a lot of ongoing renovations and expansions at the moment but there are recent additions, like the huge elephant enclosure, open now. Check out their holiday lights display, it's quite unique and beautiful.

cassidy Kuhl

Absolutely beautiful zoo! Can't wait to go back! Such and open and up close feel. Great kids areas!

Cathy Flores Gregoire

This is a WONDERFUL facility, park, zoo, and a major part of our history. So much to see + do ....or simply bring a blanket + relax on the acres of green areas available

Ben Dantoni

It's a wonderful public park and holds a place in my ❤️ when I lived across the street.

Ian Celino

How do you even review this? You have a great playground for kids by st. Charles across from loyola. Beautiful running paths and gazebos nestled throughout the park. Look for the old ruins by the zoo. The back of the park will take you to "the fly" where you can see the kids playing soccer and watch the boats go down the river. There's a lot to see and explore.

Trisha Cook

It's a very relaxing place to walk around

jonathon geiger

Incredibly staff and the animals are all fantastic precisely what you want to see when you go to a zoo.

Gen Moncada

gorgeous and well maintained park with lots of areas to sit and enjoy shade

Richard Havlicek

Ride the St Charles streetcar from the French District. Great place to walk, relax and unwind. Take in the zoo if you want but that's not a must.

a.j. sisco

Beautiful Park in uptown New Orleans, can be accessed from the St Charles streetcar, or the Magazine Street bus. Designed and built for the 1884 world's Fair. Housed within the park is the Audubon Zoo.

Admin D Ball

It was absolutely an outstandingly beautiful spring day. People in the park everywhere jogging, walking, biking. We didn't participate but here there is a zoo on one side of the park and a golf course in the middle we hung out by the water and watch the Ducks. What a beautiful setting in the Garden District of New Orleans which is surrounded by beautiful older homes. Beautiful neighborhood can take the trolley. Also you can go visit some of the local cemeteries. Which are close by

dawn goodpaster

Great place to walk, run, or bike. Pet friendly, kid friendly

Patricia Barbagelata

I love this zoo. Staff is friendly and helpful park is clean animals are awesome.
