Believe it or not, this place is still under construction. It's not abandoned. It is the finest example of Louisiana politics and governmental red tape in the state!! Google it! Use this search, "pirates cove water park Louisiana" . Poor guy has been swimming upstream, no pun intended, against parish and state bureaucracy since he started! Look at the google pictures. They show slow but steady work. It's going to happen one day and it will be a marvel that shows one mans determination against all odds!
