This Park is included in the category of Amusement park.
It was fun. It felt like going to a county fair. The rides were fun nothing special but fun. My 3 year old and 6 year old had a great time and that is all that matters. The parking is an issue, not because of the camden park facility. This issue with parking is the guest bring their huge trucks and don't know how to park them. Guest would rather give other "the bird" than a smile. I saw a mother of 3 flip someone off but they park too close to their car. He cursed at her in front of his kids. This is not the happiest place in the world.
Brought my family here from SC and loved it.It’s a historic theme park that seems to be a cornerstone for memories in WV and because of that, anything negative can be overlooked. Fun thrill rides and short lines! We just wish they carried Adult sized colorful t-shirts instead if just kids as were fans of Fallout 76.
So much fun. Our youth group came from Ohio for one last bash before school started. They loved it. Not everything was up and rubbing on a Thursday night but it was still so much fun. Great prices and the adults had fun as well. Will be back
Perfect for families with small children. Our 2.5yo loved it! No lines, great snacks, cheap, most attractions are suitable for toddlers. Very fun place for family to chill.
Nice for a local amusement park. They do have a wooden coaster that was added to a historical coaster list and their haunted house is one of the last original dark rides in the country. While you're there try a pronto pup.
It's not as huge as some parks, but I have had so many great family memories made with my kids here. I love Camden park it's cheap to get in but still lots of fun!
Camden Park is an awesome place for kids and its affordable :)
Perfect for kids ten and under.
Boards were falling off of the big dipper during the ride. Super scary.

❤❤❤❤❤ Camden Park ever since i was a little kid. I grew up in wv. I love the rides that they have there. I wonder if they still have their bumper cars. If they don't have their bumper cars....,i won't be upset if they don't have bumper cars. I'll still be happy of what they got there.
Good for very young kids. Is very outdated and needs some expansion. The price is good.
A small nostalgic amusement park that my whole family has enjoyed for generations!
very few rides, long lines, rude workers, junky.
Great place for family fun. Its clean and employees are friendly.
My brother and his family took me to Camden Park for the 4th of July and we had a blast 2 thumbs up !!!
Fun for entire family

Fun place and fun rides and good food.
Real-life version of Camden Park is too similar to the post-Apocalyptic version depicted in Fallout 76.
It's good place to take small kids not to many big rides
So much fun. Our youth group came from Ohio for one last bash before school started. They loved it. Not everything was up and rubbing on a Thursday night but it was still so much fun. Great prices and the adults had fun as well. Will be back
Good fun for the whole family
I watched a guy get fired for not checking the ride before operating it. A child got hurt... Paratrooper operator!!
Good old park
3rd time w/ my daughter. She still loves it!
116 years strong
I loved going here as a young child and to be able to take my children there and see them love it made me love it even more ...
Great local amusement park.
Perfect for families with small children. Our 2.5yo loved it! No lines, great snacks, cheap, most attractions are suitable for toddlers. Very fun place for family to chill.
Terribly outdated and old. Pavement looked like a neglected back country road, the rides were all old rides 20 years ago, so they are really old now, and the big roller coaster is a death trap (walk down to the backside of it and watch it sag and sway everytime a ride goes over it).
Nice for a local amusement park. They do have a wooden coaster that was added to a historical coaster list and their haunted house is one of the last original dark rides in the country. While you're there try a pronto pup.
Still one of the best places to take your children and have fun.
It was amazing I love Camden Park so much......
Great for entertaining young children. I actually had fun too.
It was awesome, but we had to leave before I could get a drink
Nostalgia lovers beware. Alot of the cornerstone rides (rainbow, spider, ferris wheel, etc.) Have disappeared.
Im not sure how this place is still open. Several riders malfunctioned, the coaster seems to be held together by the termites holding hands, and the staff was not exactly pleasent. That said, the students had a great time!
Camden Park has been providing a fun adventure for generations of families. It doesn't have the sparkle and glam of the modern day mega-parks, but it also doesn't have the long walk to the car or struggle to make it through the park that comes with those other attractions. This place truly makes you feel like a child going back in time and that is because it is a throwback that has not been overtaken by modern technology. The simple but effective manner in which the rides function add to the illusion. Cost can be a bit high but there are generally coupons and specials to allow folks to visit without breaking the bank.
Enjoyed our visit. It's a generation thing
Very reasonably priced, not too crowded, and there's something for all ages. Highly recommended!
All day fun for the whole family(until 10:00pm!)at a fair price. It was a great way to spend a summer day, didn't hear any complaining from the kids for an entire day!
It cost way to much for hardly no rides and they charge 5.00 parking on top of the cost to get in its ridiculous! Also you have to pay to get in to play putt putt which also cost! Its sad that they don't make it better for the cost. They ruined the train ride by taking out the Indians and stuff that made the ride. They don't always have all the kiddie rides open and they have 1 employee running 2 rides which isn't fair to the kids having to wait for the other ride to end so they can ride their ride and it takes away from your time that you paid all that money for to get in. Also there are some employees who don't pay attention to the rides their working, 1 young girl at the merry go round stayed on her phone texting or something the whole time maybe looked up once and 1 lady running the kiddie cars started the car before my 2 yr old grandson could get all the way out of it luckily the other worker who was helping him out was able to get him out before he got caught in the fence
Omg I LOVE this place! I could take my babies here everyday! My baby had a blast. My other two took off and enjoyed their time as well!Definitely a kid friendly environment and you’re guaranteed to have a blast! Please do something with that diner it could be a beautiful place to sit and relax. The view was amazing, however the diner was filthy. I couldn’t allow my kids to eat in there! It’s a shame because Camden Park is definitely on my top favorite list!
Need torn down its a joke
I have enjoyed going to Camden Park since i was a little girl, now I get ro take my own children and keep the tradition. The workers are nice and it is a good family environment.
It was a pretty nice little park
I went here when I was a little girl and I have best the memories of this place. The? delicious smell of corn dogs, cotton candy and snow cones. and ice cream cones. I couldn't wait to take my two granddaughters there ages 3 and 4. Last summer I got to take them there and they loved it They keep asking me to take them back . It's over s hundred yrs. Old. take your kids, grandkids you won't regret it. A wonderful place for kids of all ages.
Some employees very rude.. Seems a bit unsafe on most the rides.. Very dirty place.. Would not reccomend..
Fun for the kids very short rides but they really need to update the rides and bathrooms!!
Had a blast lots of fun
Its okay for the price but it's not how it used to be when I was younger. There aren't enough rides and the ones there are aren't very long at all. It seems like it hasn't been kept up over the years, nor kept up with the times. The petting zoo addition is a good touch, though.
My kids enjoyed their time here. However, it really needs to be updated. A good coat of paint and some new pavement would do wonders! Also, a lot of the staff just seamed to be going through the motions.
Awesome but the tilt a whirl needs seatbelts and a locking bar.
I'm really being generous with the 3 stars. To start, for what is available, $20 per person to get in is far too expensive. I understand that all amusement parks are expensive but there are literally only a handful of rides. To make it worse, it is a sullen place. No music or anything to brighten it up. The silence makes it pretty unbearable. I go there because it is close and convenient, but if they don't try to improve things, I will certainly think twice next time I feel like going.
Very old and rundown but still small family fun
I love Camden Park I just wish they would update the rides more but it's a really fun place to come and have fun over the summer although I wish they would put up water slides as well that would be amazing
Not sure what's going on with the park, it needs an overhaul. Hit or miss if concessions can accept cards for payment. Need to invest in more rides and refurbishing current rides instead of ignoring them until it's too late and someone gets hurt.
It's a fun time. Worth the price of admission. The concession prices are good for a park.
Truly wish someone would take over Camden Park that would take some pride in it!!

Exactly the same as when I was a kid. Only more scary. The stack of replacement lumber sitting in the middle of big Dipper gives it an extra edge of excitement!
The staff is amazing but this place has really went down hill from the times I went as a kid. We got there as the parked open and the bathroom had one stall with toilet paper. Toilets that hadn't ever been flush and no paper towel. The rides functioned and were fun.
Looks like there trying to look like fallout 76’s version.
Cute park but also outdated. The wooden roller coaster obviously needs to be updated but it does look like some boards have been replaced. Did not eat the food so I can't comment. The pavilion was nice especially since it rained we had shelter and a place to eat since we were with a school trip. In my opinion it was too crowded they let too many schools come on the same day. The wait for some rides was really long and some kids didn't get to ride what they wanted due to that. Smaller amounts of schools at once or in a day would have alleviated that problem.
Love that my granddaughter is getting to make her own Camden Park story!!
Loved it. Great small amusement park for younger kids!
I love working there. I miss it. I love the kids smiling face
Small but good selection of rides. Could maybe offer a non-rider admission discount (although I don't know of any amusement park that does). Awesome funnel cake but the wait was ridiculously long. The food service could be more efficient.
Wonderful lots of shade small enough to enjoy everything without wearing ourselves out. My grandchildren loved it and liked talking about how old it was but still working and well maintained just like grandpa.
We had fun my grandson like camden park
Maybe very out dated and needs fresh paint but for the price my grandkids had a blast, but really needs a better cafeteria with better food!!
Love it now just as much as when I was a kid. Lots of rides for everyone. Park was kept clean. Will keep going back there for years to come.
Nice small local amusement park. Good value
Needs maintain better
A good old fashioned place for family fun
If you can't afford King's Island then this is your place. Otherwise just spend a little more and go-to King's Island.
Me and the family had a blast!!!!!
Fun but the rides are really worn down
My kids loved it and it was fun family day as for rides. That is why I give it 2 stars. However, the restrooms were the filthiest that I have ever seen in my life. Most of the booths were closed and the toy store was closed which was sad bc the my daughter was too big for the kiddie rides and just to small built for the adult rides so, getting her a toy would of been nice. Then asking the help for assistance on when things open they would say, "it's not my department" and the food in the restaurant was over priced to the point you cant afford to get anything to eat there. Coming from SC to WV to this park I am not sure if I would come back again.
Lots of fun. Brings back childhood memories
Prices are a bit high since nothing has changed in over a decade. My kids still love this place though
Great place to take the younger kids.
They charge so much for food and drinks but it dosnt seem like they put any of the money back into the rides! The rides are old looking and I would never take my children there unless they fix the place up a bit! Anyone that goes there please be very careful on most of the rides!
Honestly have no idea how this place is still open. The whole place looks like it's falling down and theirs no concern for safety. Seriously if you have any common sense, don't go here. It's only a matter of time till something falls down
We bought our tickets through the school at a decent price. We went on a Thursday and since they are only open to schools at this time, the lines weren't very long at all. The log ride was not open so that was probably the only disappointment of the day. That and they serve Coca Cola instead of Pepsi...
I went here as a kid on school field trips and with friends. I brought my son and was deeply saddened. The park has seen better days, that's for sure but it's still open and my son enjoyed being there. It was still a good time for my wife, my son and myself. Family time enjoyed as family! I hope they can get more rides and keep the fun going for years to come.
Small park, but the staff was friendly and helpful, rides were enjoyable, and was an overall good experience. If you are in the area for a length of time, it's worth a few hours of that stay.
Kids had a great time
Coolest little place around funtimes for the kids basically stayed the same generations.
We have visited many times over the years. Great old school family amusement park. Pretty run down with some very old rides. The lines are never very long.
The amusement park is overpriced for what it has to offer if you go during the day, however the price is reduced after 4:30pm. At the time of this review, parking was $5.00 and admission after 4:30 was only $11.99 per person, which I feel is a fair price. The park is very old, over 100 years old actually, and is not very well maintained. Many of the rides look run down and the bathrooms are run down and not very clean. For classic coaster enthusiasts, the park does have "The Big Dipper," which is a very old classic wooden coaster. The park does have a kiddie section behind the haunted house, a log flume ride, and a restaurant. The park is not smoke free. The park is fairly clean, however sometimes the trash cans will be overflowing with trash.
A small, somewhat limited amusement park, but still a good place for a day trip with the kids.

Believe in miracles if u made it...over priced
A bit run down but it is such a nostalgic place for me. First started going there about 50 years ago.
The park is rundown and needs some major TLC. The grill restaurant in the park was expensive & nasty (the food and the place). They didn't have enough workers, some was running from one thing to the other so people could enjoy what they wanted to do. Alot of the game sites & food shops were shut down. Didn't have a variety of prizes to win. And the arcade place oy had about 4 running games the rest was out of order or wouldn't dispense the tickets. As for the actual rides my kids had a blast. We got there by 10:30am and they had everything rode, played the games that was available & are by 1:30. So we left. Camden park use to be full of life when I was a kid. So I wanted to take my kids and let them enjoy something I done when I was their age. Although they did have fun (elementary school ages) I still feel the park should have been better if they are going to continue to stay open. Good park to take kids to just to see how they will handle rides and get them use to them.
Good place for family fun
A lovely day trip, always exciting for any age even though one of the rides made me dizzy. Warning: if you have two grown adults sitting in the front of the log flume with no one in the back, you are going to get VERY WET! So funny! Lol
Pretty good. Fun rides.the roller coaster was great.
Always a great place to spend a day with the family. No problem at all today, all friendly staff and others. Fun with the kids and fair price.
Not bad but would really like to see some water fountains for drinking or at least a reasonable price on a water ... No where to get a quick drink for under 3 bucks ... Come on you can do better than that!
Good family fun
It's a lot of fun...
Awesome Wooden Rollercoaster
Stopped be here knowing it was closed. Being a big fan of fallout and spending time playing fallout 76 I had to come and see it when it was closed to get the post apocalypse feel. Was everything I hoped for can't wait to come back during the summer and tour the park when it's open
Its a perfect park to take under 10 year olds. I went with a 9 years and 6 years and they had a good time. The best ride is the Log ride which goes in the water. You dont get too wet though. Line to that ride was like 45 minutes to an hour but its fun. Theres a petting zoo which is included in the ticket. They have llama, goats, sheep, rabbits, calves, donkeys, cubs. It cost $5 per person to get in and $10 for all day rides passes. Water and fountain drinks are about $3. I spent alot less than what I was expecting as compared to other amusement park. Its not too big. You probably be done in 6 hours. Overall a good experience.
The Big Dipper is the best roller coaster in the USA
Kids have so much fun, what other reason would there be to go?
Great place for the kids...
The girl in the arcade is so cute
Great fun for family.. My sons first time going and we can't wait to go back.
Not a big park but still has some nice rides .a great way to kill a evening after 5 its half price to get in .if u r looking for something to do come here
Kid had alot of fun. But staff kind of rude. And better bring cash only place that took cards were for tickets at the gate.
Great local amusement park
For nothing to change accept for paint as years passed, when someone told me that the cost sky rocketed, after 20 years, it's ashame. Taking advantage of the kids cause it's still the only amusement park. We had to take lunch then but the kids didn't care because our little neighbor had cancer among came his 2 siblings. I loved that little fellow and still have the set of ear rings which means a lot each time little Chris gift since the late 80s, I just pulled them out last night. Time for another cleaning.
Had an ok time, except when the ride attendants were fighting among themselves and a family was stuck in a log and could not get cause the attendant ran away from his post.... safety is always a key factor. Corn dogs use to be made fresh but I got one that tasted like it had sat for two days....I think my child has graduated to Kings Island.
Food and drinks way overpriced but it's better than the chuckecheese in Charleston, idk honestly I'd rather stay home in nicholas county and save my money then come back this side of WV for anything.
Great family place. They need some fresh paint and more rides. My kids loved it.
This place is not worth the price of admission... we stayed for about a half hour and left... would definitely not recommend this place
Carload special was awesome. $30 parking included and tickets for all legally buckled individuals.
Fun rides. Great staff!!
I went to this park today on the way back home from Holiday World and turned around and left upon seeing it. The roller coasters look dangerous to me and I am a roller coaster fanatic with 460 coaster count. They have a disturbing amount of rotting wood. It looks like they are just leaving the rotting wood and adding more to try and keep it working but rotting wood spreads like wildfire, even new wood. There is more rotting wood visible on the structure of the roller coasters than paint. It was sad to see, I am a roller coaster fanatic but these coasters aren't going to be safe for much longer IMO. I love small parks and classic coasters and hope this park gets it together. Sorry, not trying to bash the park but just concerned. I see a lot of coasters and this is not right.
The Park is a little out dated and in need of some paint. But the prices are budget friendly with low admissions cost and low food and beverage prices. Most importantly, young kids have a blast here and don't mind that its an old park.. A very family friendly place to visit.
I love bringing my kids here. Everything is so expensive. I mean 5 dollars for a soda??
Needs a little upgrading. Nice place to take the kids.
My kiddos had a blast. Such a state treasure. Glad to show my Fl babies some local fun.
A under staffed place, with only half of things like the arcade in working condition.. the roller coaster was made of actually old wood...that was moving and wobbling everywhere...scary..all the rides seemed very outdated rides in dire need of paint and sum TLC.
R5 R Camden park have picnic areas
Some rides down place could use some paint
Nan and her pookie had a great time. The staff was very respectful and nice. Amber and her son that work the cars even helped my grandson and packed him to me bc he decided to get off before the ride was over! Thanks again for helping me. We had a great time!!!
Love Camden Park but we didn't get to stay it started raining an lighting an we went home
Had fun at a good price but its in bad need of updates and adding more rides. The rides need to be enlarged to accommodate larger people
The staff here are extremely kind and professional. The park is awesome for kids, so much variety in rides, all the good old favorites. Top notch
For the price, this is a great family day. It's fun and relaxed.
Nice place but the rides look like they needed repair
Old school, nostalgic, aroma of yesterday. Safe, clean, well behaved well mannered customers and workers.
Would give it more stars but they need to fix the place up a little charging 3 dollars for a bottle of water and 3 dollars for a big juice they could put a little money bk into the place but still had a great time with my rockstar daughter
It may not be Kings Island but it's a great little amusement park.
Good place for entertaining kids
Love this place for some reason. I guess it brings out the kid in me. I love seeing how happy it makes the grand babies! The price after 5 drops in half and you get to enjoy the afternoon there without all the heat and less crowds! I cant wait for the Halloween haunted train ride!!
Still fun just as it was when I was a kid, but this place could use so many upgrades
The nostalgia of this place gets me every time. Always transported to my childhood and still enjoy it the same!!! So many good times!
Best place on earth
A trip down memory lane. Too bad things like the spider after gone, but things can't be forever. Good place to take the kiddos.
It was my first time coming here and I enjoyed it!
Declining. But still fun for 5 year olds
A historic place for me. Used to come as a child.
The rides r old and short staff
I only give a three because due to the fact that alot of the seating areas are designated a smoking, You would think that there would be one designated area to smoke not 10
Great fun for the family, something for everyone!
If you come to Camden Park expecting a small family-run park, you won't be disappointed. It isn't like the big parks, but I've watched them try to improve year after year and bit by bit.
This is my childhood my fav ride is the sling shot I love the food I just love every thing keep it up
Kids had great time, is a fun place!
The Big Dipper and sling shot was shut. SAD
Wonderful for young children
The only problem I had was the ticket taker at Park HAD to be asked about letting me in in another way. I'm in a wheel chair .the info should have been volunteered.i almost turned around and left. But my husband had to ask about another way of letting me in.
It just seems like they don't care anymore.
Enjoyed the rides with family and friends. Staff is typically congenial, unfortunately understaffed most times. I went during the spooktacular this year and the women's bathroom was scarier than all the rides I went on. Some bathrooms are extremely dirty and disgusting while others are nice and clean. One of the women's bathrooms I went in had a broken door that wouldn't close and a cement block to hold it closed. There were many extremely old cobwebs and dirt and debris all over the floor. The toilet wouldn't flush properly and their was only one knob on the sink with running water which was barely lukewarm. The paper towels weren't even in the holder. I was told by my brother that his bathroom had an automatic sensing sink but it was cold water, no other complaints other than that. Sad to see something that has such fond childhood memories worn down and not taken care of properly. I hope they are able to get funds to fix these issues so I can continue enjoying Camden Park every year.
My child loves this place but I always think, can't they invest in some paint! Short lines!
I give you a five star this park has always been a good place for the family and friends that want to have fun
Great place to bring the kids for a local day out reasonable ticket prices
A nice place for the family for a relaxing day. The lines aren't long and the people are friendly. Not nearly as big as other amusement parks but just keep in mind what it is, a small amusement park with some rides and you'll have fun.
I love amusement parks and while I have fun at this one, it's very small and very run down. The rattler is amazing, but other than that you can never count on the rides being open cause they could be under repair. The big Dipper (roller coaster) is made of barn wood which is over 50 years old. Loose boards and rickety tracks make me feel this ride is unsafe. Lot of good memories here tho and a fun time.
It was hrest tol my hranddaughter feel because or a bromen piece of concrete an busted her chin an scraped her knee
Good place to have fun with the fam
