I adore this place because they allow military members in for free and they are reasonably priced for all the food and small activities you want to do. Personally my favorite is the water slides! I was so happy they were all up and running it definitely an experience for family, groups, or couples! 10/10

My family has been coming to Beech Bend Park every summer for the last 8 years and we still love it and enjoy ourselves every time! Taking away the free soft drinks was probably a good idea, because instead of 30 minute waits at the concession window, the lines are much more reasonable. The rides are fun, although a few new ones couldn't hurt. There were several rides down the day we went and it kinda limited us a bit. All in all its a fun place for all ages and I promise you'll have a blast!

Ford world finales Saturday. Arrived at 15:00 Drift racing was good. Although I came for the drag strip that pretty much ended at 17:00. Kinda disappointing wished the advertisements had informed us they would stop drag racing 5hrs earlier than the last 2yrs I had attended.

One of my favorite race tracks in the country. Warm days cool nights covered bleachers. Hooking track nice staff. Make sure you get your tickets in advance if you are arriving late in the evening for an event. Can I get a like. 2500 views no likes.

I have a fondness for this place. I was shocked to see it dang near empty on a summer Saturday night. It was Harley night and there was not one Harley in sight. It was TEST AND TUNE and hardly any hotrods. I wasn't impressed that I had to pay 11$ to get in the gate. There wasn't any concessions either. I don't know what has happened but BEACH BEND you need to fix it asap.

This was our first and last trip to Beech Bend. We made a plan to visit the amusement park then move on to Splash Lagoon. We had even rented a cabana in advance which included souvenir cups for all of us and a lock box. Our 10 and 12 year old girls were satisfied with the amusement park. It was typical fair rides with the exception of a few things. When we moved to Splash Lagoon it fell apart. When we went back to the concession stand with our souvenir cups (which came with $1.00 refills all day and our first drink was water for the 5 of us) we were informed that if we got a fountain drink it would consist of syrup only, no carbonation. That was after waiting in line 15 minutes. We moved to another concession stand. After getting to the window all of the workers seemed consumed with other tasks for more than 10 minutes. After hearing other patrons complain that they have been waiting for their food for an hour we left that stand. After getting a drink on this 90 degree day at yet another concession stand things seemed to get a little better until someone decided to defecate in the pool and the lifeguards did their least to notify everyone in there. Finally, they shut one small portion of the water park down. After getting our children out of there and going back to the amusement park our girls began riding the thrill rides again. After riding one of the rides they were informed they couldn’t use the exit ramp because someone had vomited on it and it was still there. I am ashamed to have brought my children to a place that doesn’t have any more pride in itself than that.

The rides for the amusement park were slim to none plus active military or reserve with id card are free the whole season. The water park had longer lines which was to be expected but they ran out of tubes so you had to wait to get a tube before you got in line we had to wait 10min just to get a tube to stand in a 20min line. The longest lines were getting into the park..45min and consesion stand 3 people in front of me and it took 30min for a snowcone which she over charged me for had to wait another 10min for the manager to correct the mistake... Overall if you're military and you only have to pay for your kids it's worth it but otherwise I would pick holiday world...not sure about Kentucky Kingdom haven't been there yet

Beech Bend has come a long way over years and they just keep getting better. Their newer water slides are world class and a must if you go. I would've given 5* but they need to address some issues at the water park before I do (e.g., more rafts, better chlorine levels, crowding, etc.); however, don't let that stop you because it's a must go. P.S: You'll find out why the Kentucky Rumbler got it's name if you ride it. Be prepared to be jarred though.

Actually I was very impressed. Their is a lot of rides and water features for little kids and better rides for kids like my 5 year old who is daring and wants more thrill. The restrooms and facilities are more of a "state Fair" rather than theme park. Definitely recommend.

The whole park gets three stars. The food was over priced. The ticket costs are reasonable but the amusement park side is nothing more than a county Fair provides. The amusement park side gets 1 star from me and my family. Some of the rides were closed, and only one attendant acted like they wanted to do their job. The water park side is what's worth the money. They have many options for the younger kids to enjoy and water slides for all ages. I give the water park 4 stars.

I went for a car event called LSFEST and it was fantastic. The camp ground was great, it had power and water are each site with trash cans, and it was right next to the race track. The bathrooms were air conditioned which was real nice to escape the heat, and they were relatively clean. Everyone at the venue was very friendly. The racetrack was more than accommodating and I was very surprised to find out that there was a themepark with a water park attached and it was only $10 to get in. The rides were real fun and the food was good too. Can't wait to go again.

We loved the amusement park, but we were highly disappointed with the water park. I witnessed multiple life guards on duty that were spraying their hair, talking, signing cards, and sitting in one spot on the edge of the pool. Their back towards the children for the majority of their duty. I spoke with management. However, the behavior continued the rest of the afternoon. As a parent, I try to keep an eye on my kiddos at all times while playing in the water. It only take a second for something awful to happen. And there was an incident today where a child was standing on a life guard stand and they did not recognize it until it was too late. When you personally know families that have lost children to drowning, it is hard to take this matter lightly.

Fun day at the water park. It's a bit pricey, but for a full day you get access to everything. Water park and ride park. Lazy river was nice. Large pool is hard to get to....its downhill if you have knee or hip problems. We were a bit disappointed that rules are not followed or enforced by staff. The river you can't get a raft. People take them back to their chairs and keep them. So it's hard to get one. We also were surprised there was only 1 guard at the large pool area and she wasn't watching. We watched people fo back flips over and over while she chatted with someone. We hear there will be a black Friday deal for next season that will be around $50 for season pass. Normally season is $99. So either way, get a pass if you're going 3 or more times. Its $37 per day otherwise. Its nostalgic in that it's been open since 1898. We didn't ride any rides, but there were quite a few. Lots of water slides. We'll go back next season. Probably the earlier you arrive the better.

We stopped in Beech Bend on our way home to Ontario this spring. It's easily accessed from interstate 65 that runs through Bowling Green KY. It was not busy although there have always been longterm campers there. So there are a few units that have seen better days. But the sites are grassy and generally level with full services. If you visit later you will have the benefits of visiting the racetrack or amusement park.

Im very dissatisfied with my experience at beech bend park. This is my second time visiting the park and the same problems arise each time. The water park staff was over all very hospitable but the water had a terrible smell and was absolutely gross! Previously working at a public pool I could tell that there is a lack of Chlorine in their water as well as I saw pizza crust just floating in the water! The food service workers were amazing! & the food was very good although quiet expensive. My kids enjoyed the rides but I felt as if the ride operators were very disrespectful (not all, but a few can ruin it for all) and they seemed to have body odor problem. I will NOT return to beech bend park.

Had a great time at Tri Five Nationals 2019 but more shade is needed for August in KY. Also the sound system in the grandstand area is in desperate need of an upgrade. We could barely understand any of the presentation ceremony. Also garbage pick up was very slow and all of Friday trash still there on Saturday

Here's the scoop. The owners are to be commended for operating Beech Bend for this community; it is a pretty good place to take your family. The owners have invested literally millions of dollars in the past few years adding major new rides/water slides. Knowing something about business, I can assure you that they will NEVER make a profit here; yet they continue to keep the park open to serve the community. So thank you to them. But there are perpetual problems they should correct if they are gonna stay open. First of all, many features in the waterpark simply don't work. Many of the fountains, sprays, etc. either have no water at all or have had the apparatus removed and are just spraying water up in the air. DOZENS of features do not work or have any water AT ALL. This includes some water slides and many of the features up on the water-towers. Almost certainly, many of these features could be repaired with just a little plumbing work. Others may need more attention, but should have been repaired before millions of dollars were invested in new attractions. Secondly, the bathrooms/changing rooms are almost always completely filthy and unserviced. This is unacceptable, considering almost any time of the day you will find many of the employees hanging around their staging area by the big pool and right by the restrooms doing absolutely nothing. The lifeguards do a pretty good job, but seem to be a little inattentive sometimes. Maybe a pep-talk to remind them of the critical nature of their job wouldn't hurt.

I took my small child here and she had a blast. For younger children, I think this place is awesome and if I were closer would buy a season pass. Lines aren't long like most amusement parks and parking is free. The water park portion is great as well. Not many "big" rides so teenagers or adults looking for a thrill might be a little disappointed.

Perfect "smallish" park. Plenty of fun for the whole family. Short drive from Nashville makes it perfect for short trips. I would even consider getting a season pass to visit more often. 39.99 for a two-day pass is a pretty good value.

I've been attending this amusement park since I was little and since then there have been many expansions. The larger they get the more opportunities arise however I would like it if in the heat of the summer they had longer hours as it's too hot in the middle of the day. Friday night lights is my only reprieve from said heat. I also wish they would be more strict about letting people cut in line and unattended children run rampant.

Screw the negative reviews on this place. I drove from Fort Campbell today to take my family and it was an awesome experience letting military members, retirees and veterans in for free is majorly commendable. There were no long waits for any of the rides, my kids could hop off one and go to the next no problem. 1 dollar refills on the souvenir cups were great as well. My only complaints are that the wave pool was warm as bath water and there needed to be more shade. We were there for 5 hours and it seemed like the same people claimed all the shade spots the whole time we were there. I'm not gonna let that effect my 5 star review though. My family will definitely be back.

Purchased a two day pass for me and my daughter and was told that the wild mouse ride would be opened up on my 2nd day pass. Never was, lady I spoke to was extremely rude! Then I called because I lost my cup and asked if it was in lost and found and was told there is No way to know if my cup is in the and found unless I come back to the park! I told to guy on the phone that I can't come back because I live 5 hours away and he said there not aloud to go to the ticket booth to see what's in lost and found!

For as a person who loves theme parks this park lacks the cleaning and how they treat their rides. Some older rides you can notice they collect paint scratches, lots of busted or dead light bulbs, spiderwebs and wasps. As for example the Michael Jackson Sea Dragon has most of these features, it’s break tires has skim which makes the eerie sound every time it touches with the ride when breaking. Though most of the rides are good and new are added such as the Vortex, Air Race and Spinning Out. But since as a local resident and how it compares to larger theme parks I would’ve given a much better rating if they could update or have taken more care of the rides.

Kinda small but nice for the price. We did the two day $39.99 pass. Employees were nice. Parking was free and plenty places to park. Waterpark had added three new slides since we had been. In addition, they still had the the three older mat slides, junior area, toddler area, regular size swimming pool and our favorite the combination wave pool/ lazy river. It was clean. Food and drinks were expensive as are at most places like this but the food was good. Amusement park was ok. Couple roller coasters, several carnival style rides that spin and some kiddie rides. Would return.

In town for Corvette Caravan. Dad brought the Vette. I brought the Challenger. We stay an extra day and found out there was an open time trial / bring what you have at the strip. Never having been on a drag strip before, the staff was welcoming and helpful. A memorable lifetime experience!

My family and I loved it. The prices on admission are great for all the fun you will have! The fireworks show was just the cherry on top of the sundae! Stayed cool in the pool all day then at dusk ridding amusement rides then at close a fireworks show. The staff were super friendly, helpful and informative. The drive there was much less stressful than going to Dollywood. Bowling Green is beautiful. Parking was easy, lines were not too long, and if you go after 5 it's not overwhelmingly hot. My only complaint was that fountain drinks are expensive and have no lid. The staff were mostly polite, but the food staff were a bit rude about my questions. Yes, vets get in free. But the family got no discount for it so why be rude? $3 drinks means we will just bring our own from now on. The rides were clean and most in good working order. Water park is worth a visit. Needs a Faris Wheel.

Let me start by saying it's a fun place to go. The water park was perfect. My issue is with the lifeguard at the pool who sat there while children were playing and going under. She choose to be sit there instead of reacting.... Playing with her nails or staring out into the distance. Being diligent is a huge part of the job.

Its a decent amusement park. Well kept in almost all the places except for the mini golf range. Its terrible. Weeds everywhere and just plain worn down and unkept. We turned our attention to the Butterflies in the Butterfly Bush.

We were there for the American Tri Five Show.. can't wait to go again next year..long ride from Michigan but so worth it..and the drags, fantastic.. Beech Bend Park is a perfect location for this show.. need more handicap parking though

We had a great time! We went day after memorial day because that's the day wehad off. It was so nice. Everyone was friendly. There was almost no wait for rides. The park was super clean. The only person that needed more training was the ticket girl. My husband is a veteran so he showed his id to get a discount and i still had to prompt her when she was trying to charge us. Splash lagoon was great and i personally could have stayed all day.

Ive been going here almost my whole life and it never gets old! The rides rock and the drop tower is so scary! But overall, recomend it for family. Only downside is the amusment park is a little small and they could have more roller coasters.

This is one of the worst parks i have been to. From the chairs being old and stained just like the floats for the lazy river. Im pretty sure there is a limit to how must rust a place can produce to still be in compliance. The staff is rude i was stopped from comin in because i didnt have a shirt on?.. Its a waterpark people. I will not be telling anyone to come here. If you do come here if you bring children please pack snacks and a water in your bag even the refreshments are bad and you can wait in line up to 30 min for a lemonade. The staff are young and dont take pride in anything they do. And the kid pool near entrance is going to get this place sued my sister feel and broke a toe because of the lack of grip tape on metal around pool for drainage. We are still pursueing what we can do about that because she was carrying my son and none of the staff tried to help we had to go find someone to make them help. They didnt even care that she was bleeding in the pool.

Beech Bend was great as usual. I took a friend and my young adult children (18-26) and some of their friends so we had a nice sized group (about 11 or 12). The park itself is great for families of all sizes, not too big for families with smaller children who may tire easily (they do have strollers) and not too small to get boring for your older preteen and teenagers. The lines you ask? What lines lol? Typically by the time we walked up and the ride stopped we were next to get on. For anyone who smokes they offer designated smoking areas inside the park. Beech Bend does offer an assortment of your standard carnival type food so if you choose to bring something remember to have a cooler as outside food is not allowed inside the park. They do offer plenty of picnic tables in an area right outside of the main gate on a first come first serve basis. We usually visit Beech Bend every summer and stay all day. The drive is not terribly far and the combination amusement park/water park makes for a full day of fun, laughs and memeories. I hope you enjoy your time there as much as me and my familiy enjoyed ours.

My family and I spent two days in the park this weeknd-- one at the drag strip/ Tri-5 car show and one at the amusement park. The drag strip and event lot was descent, chairs/bleachers could use some updating, but bedsides that, it was alright. There is ample FREE parking on both sides of the park in well maintained fields (short grass, no giant pot holes, etc). So that's is a plus. The amusement park, however, could use some work. First of all, unless you buy a two day pass, you're getting ripped off. One day admission is 38 bucks while a 2 day pass is 40. Makes no sense. The Kentucky Rumbler is by far the roughest roller coaster i've ever been on. I know wooden roller coasters are usually rough, but i had a serious headache after. The rest of the rides are nothing more than permanent, less sketchy (kinda) versions of fair rides. They are still fun, but it makes the ticket prices really seem like a slap in the face. The water park is fun, again, still not worth the price. There is a good amount of thing for every age at the water park and some of the slides are pretty dang fun. However, most of the slides/attractions in this park seem rather outdated and in serious need of updating. Food and drink prices aren't too bad, definitely cheaper than 6Flags or Disney. However, you are not allowed to bring in personal food and drinks, which i find ridiculous. The thing that made our day in the amusement park less than perfect was the stuff. We only encountered a handful and pleasant and friendly staff. The rest of the stuff was rude, acted like they hated their jobs and acted as if we were an inconvenience for being there. I understand it is hot out and working in the service industry can be hard, but come on. We had fun, but mostly likely will only be returning for the car show.

First of all, over half of the rides weren’t working and many had maintenance problems and kept on opening and closing throughout the day. Also, scraped my leg really bad on the log ride and went to the first aid beside the ride to get a bandage and the door was locked. Someone needs to be at first aid at all times. It was the worst experience i’ve ever had at beech bend and i probably won’t be returning and will be going somewhere else for rides.

We go every year towards the end of the season with my honey's work for their family pucnic and man it is always so much fun!!!! Getting the theme park and water park all in one means we are all happy and we always have an amazing time we ride the water slides 1st then the rest of the rides so we get wet stay cool and have plenty of time to get dried back off the food is outstanding and we always get a huge icecream to share and its softball sized scoops two scoops fed 5 people 8)

The water park is pretty decent. They've added some slides and it's got stuff for all ages. Here is what sucks. Don't think the amusement area will be okay. It sucks. They have 1 wooden coaster, the Sea Dragon, and a couple other fair rides. The equipment is run down and scary looking. The people working in the water park looked like college kids. The people running the amusement park, uhm, no, they look like meth head carny workers. We got there as they opened and the lady running the Sea Dragon admitted she still needed to set up some stuff since she was late. Then we get to another kiddy ride and a supervisor is having the ride operator sign a pink slip for being late. She's counseling her about being late as we wait for her to start the ride. Seriously? We just quit riding the amusement rides due to fear we may get hurt. The people operating them were scary. The bumper cars had to be from the 70's. Again, if you're going for the water park, enjoy. If you're going for any amusement rides, don't waste your money. It's worse than the county fair.

Great addition for family in Bowling Green. I gave it 4 stars because it's pricey to get in and each time we've came there were rides shut down. Food is also pricey. Entertainment on the stage is good and water park is alot of fun.

Great family fun. It is early in the season so they were still getting kinks worked out but still had a great time. Friday night lights was awsome and the water park is a blast. Being retired military I am accustomed to being offered discounts which are truly appreciated but their discount for active and retired military is astounding. Free admission and a ten dollar discount for each of your dependents. You only have to show your military ID. Such patriotic owners. It is nice to see great Americans realize and honor the sacrifice made by our military personnal. Thanks

Big history and a great place to race. Covered bleachers for the fans
