REVIEWS OF Worlds Of Fun IN Kansas

Worlds of Fun has improved greatly over the years. They did an awesome job with Planet Peanut, although some of the planes on a ride doesn't work. We bought season passes and it was the best decision. This time of year they have Haunt for Halloween and Charlie's Pumpkin Patch. My only wish would be to have updated drinking stations and more benches throughout the park. I also noticed most employees running the rides didn't have the best attitudes. Overall, my family loves coming here!

Mitchell Simpson

We've been every year for last several years, and always have a great time. The all day food pass keeps us in a great mood, and we set our timers every 90 minutes to make sure we don't miss out! would love to see a new coaster go up in the next few years.

Traci Crawford

Had an amazing day there with my family. Went on a Thursday, the line's were quick. Would definitely recommend going if your in the Kansas City area vacationing.

Out with the old and in with the new. They really have updated and things are really looking good. They seemed to be in a slump for some years but that has passed. They did get rid of some of the older rides, but they did replace them with new ones that my kids can grow up loving. I will say that the only problem I saw was the dinosaurs alive was kind of run down with half of the stuff not working. I don't think little ones would care though. We didn't really mind. If your not a season ticket holder it's an extra five dollars to see it. I wouldn't pay, but free is fine. Other than that I think they are really getting with the times.

Tracy Dunlap

We bought season passes and only went once at Halloween. We have been to many amusement parks but this one was just "ok". Not much variety. It was pretty dirty. Some younger people would really find more to do here.

Jonathan Modisett

**Standard worlds of fun What a treat. Fun place to hangout with the kids. Good variety of rides. Have always had good experience when dealing with the staff. **Winter Review Pretty cool to see all of the lights, the music, feels very special. There are not many rides in operation during the winter time... the site tells you this in advance so can't be mad. There are a lot of shows to make up for it. Side note the park is defiantly Christian religious leaning.

dewgang_47

this place is very fun, both parks are open for 1 fee. roller coasters are amazing and all of them are very smooth, besides the timberwolf. i do have a biased opinion though because the day i went was rainy and there were basically no lines. i would most certainly go here again. the staff were very nice especially for such a rainy day. prices are about 64$ per person.

Stephen Cundy

Love Halloween haunt. But the staff is bad. I understand some are temps. But as a gold pass holder I get the perk of 15min early access to the rides. I was told twice I had to wait till 6pm. Also I found it funny seeing the cleaning crew smoking while cleaning. Even though on the intercom it tells guest to go to the designed area. Other then that we had a blast.

David Howe

Went on a thursday, the park was very easy to get around and there was almost no line for any ride. Even the most popular. It was a hot day and they were giving out free water if u stopped at one of the food places

Denise Hartman

We booked a family vacation here for the weekend of August 16th, we decided to pay the $500 for a One night Cabin rental (all were booked) on 8/16 because of the connivance of staying on the property. We called the reservation number multiple times to ask questions about our dates and booking. One main question was that the park calendar showed Oceans/Worlds of fun Closed on 8/16 online and was the park in fact closed that day? Reservations told us at-least twice the calendar was wrong and the park was in-fact open. Karen in the Ohio reservation center even confirmed this. Because of the information we were given by Worlds of fun Reservation center we booked our cabin and purchased 2 days worth of tickets for Friday and Saturday for the 5 in our group. 2 of my adult Children took Friday off work to travel with us to the park and I closed my business as this was our last family Vacation before one of my children moves away in November. When we arrived we were very quickly informed the park was in-fact NOT open and our tickets could be used Saturday Sunday. When we explained what we were told by the reservation center and that we would have never ever paid close to $500 for nothing more than sleeping in a very tiny unclean cabin when you can book a suite 6 minutes away in a Hilton that sleeps 5 for $140.00 a night (we had this room for 8/17). The supervisor at the front desk check in of the property agreed and tried to find us a solution she tried calling the reservation center who said they would need the name of who we spoke with WHICH WE HAD and we told her Karen in Ohio, She called back right in front of us and the woman at the reservation center became very rude with her when she had the name then told her that it didn't matter because we only asked questions to them and chose to book online. We checked back a few hours later and she still had no solution for us, we also checked on Saturday and apparently no one who could help or provide customer service works weekends? When we booked online not one single prompt, notice or warning came up that the park was closed for the DAY OF OUR RESERVATION, nothing to notify us at all that the reservation center was wrong or so we could make a good choice for our family. Apparently Worlds of Fun relies on the pass the buck method of customer service. It would be nice to see one ounce of customer service from Worlds of fun towards this.

Jesse Hite

It was decent. I enjoyed the rides I could fit on. I couldn't ride some though because I didn't fit. Not really the parks fault there

Carole Hoffman

This is our first year having season passes and we are enjoying both parks but the food and drink places always seem to be running out of things. How can you be out of ice at 11:30 am when the park just opened at 11:00? We went from drink station to drink station and they all seemed to be out of ice. Twice we have tried to purchase ice cream in Worlds of Fun at the funnel cake place and both times the ice cream machine was not working. We have dined at Coasters twice and both times the cleanliness of the restaurant was extremely dirty. The floor was sticky everywhere, every table was dirty, all of the condiment dispensers were empty, and there were no napkins available.

Telisa Holmes

WARNING! Loads of walking. Uphill, downhill, and if you don't plan your rides well you will be doubling back. Be sure to take advance of drink refill stations that are not at the milkshake shop, they never had any ice and that location was Over crowded. Really clean park, saw managers even picking up trash as they walked. Would reccomend this place. And I would say to start at roller coaster side as soon as amusement park opens then get in the Fury of the Nile line right after because that is one of the rides where the line is extremely long.

Pamela Osborn

What's making the lines so long are the fast pass holders. If you're willing to pay even MORE MONEY than your day pass costs, they sell a bracelet that's called a fast pass and it lets people with the bracelet cut in front of everyone else. And they can do it over and over. So of course the roller coasters and such are the "fun" rides so good luck to anyone without a fast pass getting to ride. It's a rediculous way to make a few more dollars and it's rude to visitors who paid for a day pass to have to keep standing there waiting to ride.

Jacqueline Mayeur

Our family of 7 stayed in the log cabins for 1 night. It was cozy and very comfortable. We visited both parks, Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun. Because of our near by cabin we were able to rest as needed during the day and save money on food and parking passes.

TheChacoTaco Coasters

Really fun park! It’s no cedar point, but it’s still a ton of fun! There are some really great rides. Personal favorite was mamba Most rides had two trains running, but the operations were extremely slow! That’s my only issue though, so keep up the great work

Denise Gallardo

Awesome choice of rides. The amount of time a person stands in line. You would expect the ride to last longer. My family had tons of fun, we will definitely return!

Melanie Warren

Its roller coasters and rides that scare the screams out of you! Food and drinks are pricey but there are tons of options, all pretty good. Easy to walk around, lots of restrooms and roller coasters! Fast ones that fling you around!

Didi Cruz

This park was better than expected. I was visiting Kansas and I like theme parks so I decided to give it a try. I visited on July on a week day, no long lines and a lot of rides and parking was easy. Parking has a fee. Boomerang was too much for me, hit my head and ended up with a headache, but all other rides are cool. Wooden coasters are extreme, so prepare for a rough ride. We are at the dinner, place was a little dirty but food was good. We didn't visit the water park. We enjoyed our day and the park is big so plan to spend the day there, if you go in summer bring sun block.

Casey Copeland

Had a great time, weather was good and kinda were not too long. Is it just me or does some of the park seem to be getting way run down? Also they need to clean up the dead rides and old buildings by the parking area. Besides that, hey it’s worlds of fun!

Dirty D

This trip was the last attempt to enjoy summer. I absolutely love the Mumba. It's the best roller coaster by far in the park.

Kevin Schmidt

We had an amazing time especially for a family of 6 to afford to go there on a regular basis is normally difficult but always a blast. Contemplating buying season tickets now because of how much fun we had thank you for all your hard work and putting up with my family

Linda Grier

Glad that all the rides were open and well attended. They keep this theme park well maintained. We had a world of fun.

Brandon Turner

I love going here! I have a blast every single time. I really like that you get to get into both parks for the same ticket price!

Renata Mckelvin

Great weekend vacation for me and the kids. 2 parks in one! We will definitely be back. Fun place

Heather Winget

Wish it was more handicap accessible. One lady that worked the water ride was super nice and helped so a client could ride

tracie stanley

Lots of improvements made on the facilities. Always so clean and polished on decorations and landscaping. Beautifully updated entrance and ticketing facility. Also great job on newly implemented security protocol on entrance of guests through metal detectors and bag check. Season passport was easily obtained this year. Process seems streamlined compared to even just 3 years ago. Great Deal on season pass with meal and drink purchase plan added on. Best entertainment package for families in metro KC area in my opinion.

Alexandria mccallum

I was surprised how well kept the park was! Lines weren't terrable, staff tried to be as help full as they could be although we did experience some trouble with the meal plan we purchased and one of the ladies tried charging us the full $25 for a meal that should have been free with our wrist band. It eventually got fixed. Meal plan and season tickets are defiantly work the envestment!

Cristin Martinez

Great day. Lines were not bad at all. Fast pass was helpful for where there were lines. Favorites were Patriot and Cyclone Sam's. There were lots of rides for my 4 year old and were super fun.

M Phillips

We go at least once a summer. They've made several improvements to the park. Kids love Planet Snoopy and are getting tall enough for the bigger rides. Favorites are the Mamba, Zulu and Falcon's Flight. We experienced the Grand Carnivale last night. A unique musical experience that we all enjoyed. The parade, colorful floats and costumes were unique. Hot Rhythm Nights was first class entertainment. Girls loved it. Oceans of Fun is ok, but needs to be updated. Changing area and restrooms are greatly in need of a makeover. Wave pool, Paradise Falls and lazy river are a hit with the family.

Brian Joseph

Mostly childhood memories come to mind in this place when it comes to WoF &OoF, but they do a good job in maintaining the park after all these years. Two pieces of advice, weekdays and fast pass +.

Tyler Hobson

Rained out the morning but the staff was very helpful and informed regarding the time frame of ride closures. The app is also very handy as it systematically tells patrons what each individual attractions status is. By 11am we were in full swing! Lines were mild at worst and the park was easy to navigate. Truly some exhilarating coasters to experience. Only reason 4 stars were given rather than 5 were the prices of food and drink... absolutely ridiculous. Buy the VIP parking and the refillable cup. Definitely worth the few extra bucks each.

Ash Underwood

Rides seemed to keep going down. Some staff were monotoned and so bored to be there. The food is outrageously expensive. A sub was like $17 with NO DRINK. The rides are okay but we won't continue our annual pass after this is over.

Brian Goeke

This place is incredible they have a great way of making it feel like you actually stepped INTO a WORLD of FUN! Sights sounds visuals and incredible rides it's an experience. We have been to Carnivale, Halloween Haunt, and Winterfest and they always impress. Vegas style shows and great costumes and fun Family memories made every time! They really set the tone and take the experience over the top. Awesome! A must visit for anyone in KC or coming to KC.

Tony FreeDrum

They was only one worlds but lots of fun. So fun I took run and run until I ran out of breath. Weeeee

Brice Willson

Haven't been to Worlds of Fun for several years. Not much has changed. They have kept the park looking good, lots of flowers and decorative items. The kids Snoopy/Peanuts area looked really cool! Some areas are slightly run down. I like the fact that Oceans of Fun and Worlds of Fun are one park now. Great roller coasters, Mamba, The Prowler, The Patriot. Food is very expensive in the park as you might expect.

James Hicks

The rides that were open were cool. The food is grossly over priced. 110 bucks for 2 cheeseburgers and some chicken strips. I was cool with all of it until we wanted to ride the "Rip cord". This ride isn't included in ticket prices so it costs extra. Fine, extra 50 on top of the 200 I already spent to get in, no big deal. I was told though that because of "high winds" only groups of 3 were able to ride. Seemed legit, until I saw the groups. 3 girls, 100 pounds each, maybe. My son and I weigh 200 each. So are they worried about weight and ride safety, or collecting money? If you have 300 bucks to blow and want to wander in circles and not ride everything while eating over priced food, this is the place to be!

Voo Du

Truck and trailer took up three (3) handicap spaces. I didn’t need one but it really upset me and my entire family. Tony the General Manager of Worlds of Fun/Oceans of Fun didn’t care so much when I complained. I suggest he offered the customer numerous complimentary. Nope, nothing.... this completely ruined my entire day at Oceans of fun!

Trigger Ninja

My children absolutely love going to Planet Snoopy. They have plenty of rides for the kids. This amusement park is literally "Worlds Of Fun". They have so many different rides, there is definitely something for everyone to enjoy. The Mamba and Patriot are extremely thrilling. I enjoy all the coasters, but those two are by far my favorites. Oceans Of Fun is one of the best water parks I have ever been to. I'm glad they merged the two parks together now, so you can come and go between them as you please. The only thing to complain about is how expensive the food and drinks are. Even with the season pass "discount" it's very expensive for food and drinks. I would love to see them give better perks to season pass holders as well. Overall, I enjoy this park every time we go. My family and I have many memories from this park and plan to keep going there for years to come.

Rory Colbert

The kids always love going here but it is not cheap. We did not buy the Fast Pass but the lines were not bad at all so the kids could right back to back and not have long waits. The summer is usually the crazy time Fall and Winter is never bad. We only did Worlds of Fun this time but there is still a couple of water rides on this side too.

Classic T Full Circle

I know this an amusement park. It needs to be more money friendly. Food is not affordable and it's set up so you have to buy multiple items to make meals.

Book Lover

I absolutely love Worlds of Fun. As a season pass holder I love to go here with friends and family. Their festivals are wonderful and their rides are pure entertainment.

soundreal entertainment

When I got to this place, I instantly regretted it. It was WAY TO MUCH FUN! I LOVED THIS PLACE! I was the only one in my family of 6 that went on Patriot, Mamba, Spinning Dragons, Timber Wolf and Cosmic Coaster. I missed out on Prowler, because I had to go to Oceans of Fun. In Oceans of Fun, I don't think I had that much fun because I only went through half the water park. Still, it was an amazing time for me and my family!

David LaRue

A fun place to take the kids. The new Cotton Blossom has some really good food. I was surprised, but in all good ways. What a cool place out there, lots to see and do besides just ride rides.

Justin Clarke

It was a awesome time all the different areas aka countries to check out. My kids did almost all the roller coasters they had a blast. The all you can drink cups are well worth the money so is the all day eating pass we got to enjoy all sorts of different foods without breaking the bank. So many different things to do here. We as a family had a great time. The old time photos were a blast.

Anime Hybrid

It was very fun in lovely not too much crowds. Love their new attraction the carnival. Would definitely recommend going during the summer on cool days.

Joy VanDruff

I had alot of fun here. Food is expensive so pack a lunch instead. Take advantage of the refillable drink add on when you get tickets. You will be happy you did by the end of the day!

Austin H

Great place to go with a family! Try to leave unnecessary items in the car because it was $15 to rent out a locker. We went on a Monday so our wait time for rides was between 0-5 minutes. However, later in the day it was around 30 minutes for the more popular rides. At the end of the day would definitely go back again because it was a lot of fun!

Tyrus Messa

The park has come a long way since I was a child. It seems to be kept up better, have better food and drink selection, and more quality rides. Tickets can be a bit pricey if you don't get one of the many discounts available. Great roller coasters and some fun atmospheres and shops.

Pam Bintner

We had a wonderful hot day, 96 degrees. The grands rode 7.5 hrs and enjoyed every minute. Very clean, staff efficient, helpful, polite. Today was last full day of the season. Open on wknds ti I am not sure..Google to see. Enjoy..

Sarah George

Haven't been here in over 10 years. It has a lot more hills than i remember. Staff was friendly. We got a characture done and i was super impressed with it. We got some funnel cake that came out really well. We went on a handful of rides, the Prowler being the most intense one. It was a wooden roller coaster. Their rating systems for rides were a little weird. The Prowler was a level 4, same as the water raft ride. And right above this ride where you go around a track in these little cars (super chill) But anyway, spent about 6 hours there and the lines werent to long. It was a Thursday morning in early August.

Izzy H.

Lots of fun rides. Lines are usually very long so I would suggest a fast pass

Anna Elizabeth

Super easy and quick to get into the park. We came as soon as it opened and the lines weren't long at all, but after awhile they started to get longer and longer, we ended up waiting over an hour to ride the Fury of the Nile, We decide to eat there as well prices were very high but its what you expect. 30 dollars for a pepperoni pizza, it was good though, it did take about 20 minutes for us to get it, they seemed understaffed and overworked tbh.

Chryshella Akers

I used to really enjoy the fright fest but now with these no scare necklaces the event is more geared for toddlers vs anybody else. Used to if you didnt want your kid scared you didnt take them like we didnt take my sister. Not wasting money on this event in the future, ever!

Jeff N

Halloween Haunt puts a majority of what you'd enjoy at the larger haunted houses into multiple spook houses. The park is also decorated with Halloween themed props and music.

Emma B

I just went to worlds of fun and oceans of fun and it was well...fun I recommend riding the spinning dragons, the prowler, and everything by predators plunge. Also my family really liked the mamba.

Bike Angel

Fun! We had the time of our lives! The carnival parade was extravagant! The dancing was off the hook! The decor was stunning and topped off the night with fireworks when the park closed! Most fun I ever had with my kids!

Marina Cowan

Remember back in the day when line skipping and “holding spots in line” weren’t a thing? Yeah, well, think again. They no longer care. There could be 15 people yelling “hey mom!, hey guys!” And they instantly run up and before you in line as if they’ve waited the same length of time. Funny how that works.

Jason Talmage

This is an awesome park...... unless you are a large person, then you are limited in what you can enjoy. I'm 6'4", 320lbs and I simply don't fit in several of the attractions. Yes, I'm overweight, but most would not describe me as "fat". I'm just a very large guy. As for kids, teens, and "normal" sized people this place is a great day of fun and adventure. I did not purchase the fast pass that is offered but you will wait 15-60 minutes for a ride on any given attraction. Drinks are high dollar so buy the unlimited drink bracelet. Do not recommend going on a hot sunny day, you will cook on the pavement.

catherine thompson

I love going to worlds of fun because I love going on all the rides even though the lines are crazy to wait in line for about an hour but it's worth the wait. I love halloween haunt here. It's really fun to get scared. I would come back again and again. It's worth the money honestly.

Ryan Blake

Fun rides, good value and tasty food. As far as amusement parks go you can do way worse than Worlds Of Fun!

Wesley Hill

We came here for our 16th Anniversary and we brought our 7 year old daughter with us. It was her first time coming to the park. Me and my wife have both been here before. It was blazing hot that day and it seems like it was a challenge to just find water in the park. The rides need updated in a bad way. Other than that we had a good time.

Phillip Roenne

Pretty fun. Didn't do a while lot due too long lines and being super hot.

Wesley Hobson

Worlds of fun still has enjoyable roller coaster rides and is far more affordable than Disney or Universal Studios. The staff were friendly on the roller coaster rides and everyone double checked our safety equipment properly. It also has an excellent Guest Relations station near the entrance gate. My only issues with the park where the lack of cleanliness at Oceans of Fun. I was told by my friends that they saw human feces on the ground of the women's changing room. The men's changing room was clean enough, but I feel like their needs to be more staff at Oceans of Fun. Another perk was the prevalence of drinking stations, along with free water for park guests. Overall, we had a fun experience, but more efforts need to be make for cleanliness, especially at the water park.

Shayna Hanes

The Halloween attractions were great! People even scaring us as we just walked to the next attraction, worlds of fun for the win.

Nicole Goff

My family always loved this place. It is getting a little run down and NEVER go in the evenings. The daytime is always super fun with a decent crowd but if you go in the evenings it is always filled with the rudest people that cut in line, push into you as they run by, and just act all around crazy. We stopped going even though we had season passes and didn't buy passes the year after because we were so put off by it. I know it's not the parks fault that that's the crowd it draws but unfortunately it still added to the experience.

Luci

Wonderful visit again.. thanks for the fun. Was dang hot but a great day

Chuck Williams

We have gotten 11 visits on our season pass since mid June. It's well worth the money even if you might visit 3 times in one year. We found the drink cops not worth the trouble to keep up with and we usually only drink water. Free water cups are offered at drink stands.

Felicia Magee

Seems smaller than i ever remember as a kid. The rides arent what they used to be. Had fun after thirty years away !!!

Jeff Chapman

I have spent 30+ years avoiding this place like the plague. While several rides are enjoyable; the spawal is confusing to navigate, everything from refreshments to souvenirs are overpriced, the labor force is mostly kids who could not care less or be paid less or adults who can't make it in the "real" world. Come for 4th of July... Park on the shoulder of the highway and save $60 bucks.

David Szach

Park was great, would give more stars but I had a bobtail semi truck (no trailer), had to park far away from the entrance. The parking attendants parked RV's (which are longer and bigger than my truck) closer to the entrance. Then when my party went to leave, I walked out to E lot to get my truck to drive to the front entrance to pickup worn out kids, was told by security I had to move my truck because it was in the way...They need to start respecting truck drivers, we are the ones that brought everything that place has in the park.

kristi Hecker

The rides are excellent and tons of them. Even a bunch for smaller kids. Would have given 5 stars if the drink machines were working (since we bought the refillable cup for $13). We were only able to find water. The soda/tea machines were down. Also, every food place we stopped at was "out of food".

Amanda Jacobson

I love amusement parks! This one is around my area, it's my home away from home.

Priscila Silva

I went with my family at the World of Fun and we had an amazing time there! We rided the roller coaster, and we enjoy a lot of attractions there were a memorable day to us

Lucia Dorr

Better to visit during evening when it's very hot outside. It is a fun place, and kids are having a great time. The lines sometimes can be a bit too long, waited more than an hour on some rides. Definitely getting fast pass next. It will save time and hopefully we will cover a bigger ground.

Michael Yamat

It's okay. I don't like all the spinning rides so it really limits what I can do because they have mostly that. But still fun place

Cheryl Baswell

Went opening night to halloween haunt did not have fun. Please do something about the groves of teenagers coming unsupervised running wild knocking over little kids. It happened two different places . The teenagers are ruining this part for families with children. I have bought passes for years for my family but this will be the last year we have food passes the food choices are getting worse every year. The best thing they had going for them was battle creek barbecue and now it's gone. I wont6be wasting my money next year on the food.

Matt Hoffman

Love coming here as well as my daughter. Been coming here since I was a child and have fond memories of it and now my daughter is getting fond memories. The rides always feel safe and well maintained. The events they do ( Halloween haunt, Christmas lights, etc...) are always above and beyond anything you'd expect from an amusement park. If you are thinking about going, I strongly suggest going.

Mariah S

It was my first time going to world's of fun during the fall when they dress the place up for Halloween. The decorations were pretty cool, definitely want to go in the evening next time to see all the haunts. They have definitely done a lot of work on world's of fun since the last time I was there in 2015. It's been nicely updated

David Bedgood

First time visiting, had a Great time with the family. Awesome roller coasters here.

BlackBeanerZey

I have been going to this amusement park since i was a toddler and it is still the best place to go if you want to have fun. If you want to spend time with your family i recommend you try this place out.

Jeffrey Kayden

I have been going here for years with my wife and kids. They have grown up with snoopy and the gang. Plenty of seating around, good shops, good live shows. Food isn't cheap but what amusement park is today? Winterfest and the Haunt are great seasonal events everybody loves to attend. Been a few years without a new coaster, but someday soon...

Phoenix Luna

Worlds of fun has enough attractions for easily more than 1 days worth of fun. The food is a bit pricey, but that's every amusement park under the sun. The park is country themed giving every area of the park a new feel and new sense of adventure. The carnival games are every where and adds new hours of excitement, though they are a bit expensive, but you may just win a giant stuffed animal from them. The employees do a good job of making the park experience unique and entertaining.

Michael Coleman

Fury of the Nile was an awesome experience. It would have been even better if they had more help loading passengers to speed up the line. The boomerang was great too. Staff is Midwest friendly, give them an A+ for effort. Very few lines today.

Steve Off

This theme park and attached water park are operated by Cedar Fair. There are plenty of rides, slides, and wave pools to keep you having fun all day. There is even an adults only pool with swin up bar. The ride lines were fairly short when we were there, so I would recommend skipping the fast pass. You can always pick it up in park if it is a busier day.

Crystal Brown

This place is amazing! Great for children of all ages! They have lots of new events all the time friendly people and a place to go if you get lost! I love worlds of fun!

Marcii jones

This place cost to much for what they have in the park just my personal opinion... (they can have better roller coasters and add more, and you have to pay for parking.. It would be good for those that live out of town to visit.

Caden Smith

Pretty fun place, I have a lot of good memories from here. I'd recommend buying a fast lane pass, else you'll have to wait in line for a very long time. Things are overpriced, but that is too be expected. Love the rides!

Candidly Candace

It was my first visit and it rained today so they closed alot of the rides, but their Halloween show was amazing! I had so much fun! You could say I had worlds of fun

Mae Amos

I've been going here my whole life. At worlds of fun there's always something for everyone! They have different variety of food and it's all amazing. For young kids they Planet Snoopy with a petting zoo, rides for small children, you can even meet Snoopy and the Peanuts Gang! If your looking for a fun experience for older kids, young adults, or adults you and ride all the bigger roller coasters like Mamba which has a 205ft drop from the first hill. Patriot where your feet dangle and you go through fun loops and corkscrew. Maybe you want to enjoy Steal Hawk by rotating 301ft in the air. Also enjoy the live internment the shows are amazing, with catchy music, wonderful Cast, and they make you wanna get up and dance! You have the best day ever! Don't forget to Ride on!

rebecca rice

As season pass holders we visit fairly frequently. With a small child, 4 years old, the season pass is the best way to go because you can visit for short amounts of time and not feel like you have to get it all in in one day. My son always has a great time!

bro Person

As a person who doesn't care for roller coasters, worlds of fun was great, I've been there three times so far, and I have had a great experience every time! They have loads of non roller coaster rides, and they generously host a music festival every year, I have attended every year with my chior from school, very good experience!

Liandro Martinez

Had so much fun there and I'm glad I decided on worlds of fun and not the chiefs game cuz they lost lol!

Laura Carrillo

They have really ramped up what they have to offer. Grand Carnival has so many new and interesting things going on. Went on a Tuesday and there were hardly any lines for rides!

It had a few rough patches but running smoother now. Food quality is better, workers are more efficent in the restaurants. Park cleanliness seems better. I enjoy the addition of winterfest. Great decision on cedar fairs part, makes the park useable from April toll the end of December vs the end of October.

Aimee Bernard

The rides I was able to go on were fun. Some of the newer ones though are not adaptable for larger guests and it was a bit of a disappointment. This was the first time I've been to the park in a few years and they have made some upgrades and changes that were very nice and needed in some areas. During our visit we were told, slightly too late, that you can pay $30 for a wrist band that pays for food and drink every 90 mins at the park. That is something we will be doing next time for sure! In all my visit was amazing, just wish some of the rides were more accommodating.

Mariah S

It was my first time going to world's of fun during the fall when they dress the place up for Halloween. The decorations were pretty cool, definitely want to go in the evening next time to see all the haunts. They have definitely done a lot of work on world's of fun since the last time I was there in 2015. It's been nicely updated

Kelly Wagner

Monday was the perfect day, most rides were without any lines and others were so short you barely had time to catch your breath before you were off and running again. Nearly all of the employees go above and beyond to make sure you're enjoying your experience and offer assistance. If you forget sunscreen or other necessities they offer a wide variety in various locations. So pack a day bag with high expectations for fun, you won't be disappointed!

Jenni Kulzer

Great rides! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the employees move SO SLOW. I went to refill my soda, and asked the girl working if she'd like to scan my cup. She was leaning her head on her hand and said "I. Don't. Care." Bathrooms were filthy and without toilet paper. But the kids had fun, and that is all that matters really.

jill floden

Great fun for the whole family, wish I would've had a waterproof bag along for my wallet & cell. Fun at night too when a bit cooler out. I should've researched food options within the park beforehand. And plotted rides since lines can be long.

Tanvi Kanthe

Great place, with so many rides of every age. I really enjoyed the day in the park with furious rides. There so many restaurants too. I would loved to visit here again. An amazing place for kids, family, friends and teens.

Melvin Frederick

I have been going to world's of fun since I was a child. Still love the rides and the fun festive feeling in the air. The food and beverages are way over priced but there are places you can eat outside of the park if you wanted to pack a picnic. Also there are parts of the park that have an unpleasant odor and it lingers. During the summer months you have access to both parks. You get a better deal if you order your tickets online

Kerri Thomas

Wait times are a bit ridiculous and the prices of everything are jacked up even higher than what I've seen at Six flags, not thoroughly impressed. However, I do have fun while here so though it's tempting to give them 3 stars they've ripped the 4th star out of me

Leyla Wolf

I like this place, but I hate rollercoasters and heights, but I had fun with my family and my "family". The had lots of fun, so if you don't like heights or rollercoasters than this is a place for you. I recommend this place very much. Have a great day!

Anwar Jones

The park has been updated since the last time I was there. That said, some of the older attractions were shopping their age. They looked old and needed a refresh of their aesthetics. Also, the older rides felt more bumpy and less comfortable. As a parent, I appreciated the look and feel of Planet Snoopy. There were plenty of rides and attractions to keep kids occupied which kept our family with young children occupied. It was off season so maybe that's why it seemed short staffed. Some rides had long waits, even though the lines weren't long. The operators were having to do the job of helping to load and unload passengers on top of ride management. Overall it was a great time.

Jessy Jones

very fun place for the family. The Halloween Haunt is simply Fantastic!

Butch Carter

Always a lot of fun. Very nice that they are upgrading the park. Fresh paint, new buildings, and a major clean up was needed and done. Highly recommend visiting during the middle of the well to avoid crowds!

Jason Ewing

I am physically disabled and can't ride roller coasters. I also have seizures. So, I can't do spinning rides either. All the shows they usually have were closed and the only rides were water rides. If you're not into spinning rides or roller coasters I wouldn't recommend. Luckily there is still Halloween Haunt to look forward to.

Shelley Plunkett

We had a wonderful experience here and would recommend it to anyone. The price was reasonable with our Good Sam's discount. It is centrally located and a short drive to all we wanted to see. We thought it would be a great destination for a family reunion or family vacation.

Brian Spicher

Best/only amusement park in the area, it's a goods day I'd you like roller coasters or spinning rides.

Carol Mabon

Had a good time. Came for a company outing. The fun stuff was good. The food could be improved. Not tasty. Updating things would be a plus. Things are so old.

Taralynne Edwards

We enjoyed our time and had a great day here. The price of the ticket plus the fast pass made for an extremely expensive day, however once we had committed to it we were glad we spent the extra dollars as we were bypassing long lines. The beverage deal for unlimited drinks during the day is well worth its price, but unless you eat a lot or share food I would think twice before purchasing the meal plan. With what we ate over the course of the day from opening to closing, we actually paid more for the passes than we would have for the food individually. Beware that lockers cost more on site than anything I found online! There are lots of great rides to enjoy - worth the money for any amusement ride fans but I wouldn't pay that much to go a second time.

Janelle Craig

We must have went on a REALLY good day because the lines were extremely short! We rode the Patriot 3 times and almost rode the Mamba twice but it was shut down for a bit and we didn’t want to wait. Overall the park was clean and the rides were pretty fun. My daughter and I had a blast and she can’t wait to go back.

Larissa Ingram

Tickets included both oceans and world's of fun, lots of drink stations, good food, lots of fun. Glad we got fast lane passes so we got to go first on all the rides!!! Won't go back without those passes !! made the whole day much more fun then waiting in line at all the rides!!

John Warnock

Where do I start? The official website where I was buying the tickets wouldn't give me the option to get fast lane + general admission tickets even though it's advertised on their site. I was only given the option for fast lane plus + general admission which is more expensive. I ended up just going with the all inclusive tickets for $25 more per ticket so I could feed everyone for no extra cost. So in other words I didn't have a choice in the tickets I wanted and ended up spending a lot more than I planned on. The worst part of the park was the food. When I say it's lower quality than McDonald's or taco Bell I'm not exaggerating. The worst meals I've probably ever had. They also do not have any vegan or vegetarian options unless you live off of chips and French fries. So getting the all inclusive was a complete waste of money. I really think they want people to die at the park of a heart attack. I've been to works of fun many times but I can assure you after feeling this ripped off I will never go back and will strongly recommend others to choose a different park. It's not worth the money you will spend there. I hope this review will help others.

Joseph Blue

Great place with a family friendly environment with fun rides with a short wait time. The staff were also quite nice and seemed like they really enjoyed their job. Wonderful experience.

Jaimes Rodriguez

Pretty expensive no doubt. But Going on all the rides was exciting. The ripcord is cool too if you don't mind forking over a little bit more money. There are a blend of culture themes in the park too. I do recommend starting a bit lower if you are new to theme parks. Try Spinning Dragons first. Then work your way up.

Callie Larsen

WE HAD SO MUCH FUN HERE! We were on vacation and came here while stopping in Kansas City. It was great! So many big roller coasters and fun rides with little to no wait. It was amazing, I'm used to waiting 20+ minutes for each ride. Thank you Worlds of Fun for a great time!

Eric Ziessler

Owned by the parent company of Cedar Point but not nearly as many roller coasters. However, line wait times were great at about 20 minutes a ride, so that was a major plus.

Zena Krimzon

Love going to this place! No matter how many times I ride the rides they're such a blaster. Best place to spend summer (or winter) at!

Monika Kellner

The grand world carnival was amazing. Great interaction with the children by the staff. My nephews had a blast listening to the music and dancing. I adults were happy seeing them have Such a great time! Thank you for the nice adventure.

jamesbnkc1990

Worlds of Fun is not perfect, but they are trying and investing into the park. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because they need to train their staff better and Cedar Fair ignores this smaller park. Don't hesitate to go though. Halloween Haunt and Winterfest redeems their shortcomings.

SpongeBob SquarePants

I LOVE Worlds of Fun! Great rides and roller coasters! The Prowler and Zulu are my favorites. Looking forward to riding the Mamba. But I think they should add a smoother, less extreme steel roller coaster, kinda like the Zambezi Zinger was, but with some more thrill, just a suggestion. Worlds of Fun is a great park!

Lee Anna stevens

Had a super great time with my boyfriend and met the owners of the great outstanding company he works for. Their was only 2 rides that I thought was rough for me was the Wolverine & can't remember the other one, I really enjoyed the visit there because last time I was there was when I was probably inbetween 11 to 13 yrs old. Loved it !!

Cyrah Gray

My family and I had an amazing experience here. We plan on making this trip every year as a traditional family vacation! I highly recommend for families. Even our two year old had a great time! Great food, and my kids loved snoopy!

Katy Rose

Worlds of Fun has tons of cool rides, but the wait time in line almost makes it not worth going. Be prepared to wait in a long line to go to the bathroom at the Ladies rooms. Each ride took at least 20 minutes in line. If you want to go on the big rides, you can bank on spending at least 45 minutes in line. Guess you can splurge and buy the fast pass for additional $53+ bucks but at $46 bucks for general admission ticket, the line wait makes it hard to talk myself into going back.

whatsup everyone

So much fun.. Lots of walking but kids still had a blast! Only wish that there were more rides taking pictures of the kids. I got a few but it would have been nice to get a lot more.. I did spend twenty dollars for the funpix after all.. Anyway great place to go and we'll be back!

Tony Medardo Orellana

This place was super fun. I went with a few friends for a day. It was hot as could be, but the lines weren't too long. There was a heat advisory and people seemed to be leaving and the lines kept getting smaller. I wasn't complaining. We rode a few roller coasters a few times and it was very entertaining. Would have been nice to do a few more if possible but I still enjoyed the time we had there. I recommend it.

Aleh Bobr

Very nice attractions park! It exceeded my expectations. Lines were short. Great atmosphere. And a lot of attractions for smaller kids, which many of the parks of similar size have. We spent a great day there.

Judy Barten

Enjoyed the rides and the grandkids had a lot of fun. Were upset that there were no signs, it wasn't posted on the website and no one told us the park was closing early though. Also thought employees could have been more positive.

Bill 4420

Worlds of fun is awesome. I am a bigger guy at 265 and I have been to six flags Illinois and was told that I was to big after waiting in line for 3 different rollercoasters. At Worlds of fun I was able to ride every rollercoaster and never had a problem. I only have one thing to say about the Rip Cord. It is fantabulous.

TeeJay Reed

I had to change my review after I had posted it on Father's Day. Spending a day at Worlds of Fun is absolutely nothing like it used to be. There used to be a very large emphasis on ambassadors of Worlds of Fun that would walk around the park making sure that you had a good day, at this point it seems like the staff at Worlds of Fun would much rather spit on you then look at you. The cleanliness of the park is very good they've made some very big changes to the area around the fury of the Nile with the structures overhead. they are very nice and shade you where I believe was the hottest section of the park. A a lot of the rides seemed to be broken down and a lot of the shops closed. The park needs an infusion of thrill rides, not the new "kiddie rides" that they've put in for the last three years. The last time a new ride was added to Worlds of Fun that was worth anything was Prowler in 2009. The rides are really starting to show their age they're getting rough and safety seems to be less focused than getting the riders on and off as quickly as possible. The biggest disappointment, and the biggest obvious thing that proves that they are less focused on the rides is the music is now gone from Steel Hawk. This ride used to play epic music as the ride progressed giving you not only a visualy spectacular view, but the auditory part of it as well. These speakers need to be replaced and the music needs to be put back. Cedar Fair treats all of its other Parks way better than Worlds of Fun it's time that they focus on Worlds of Fun and put it back to its former glory. Three stars

Debby Payne

Extremely disappointed. Things looked run. Down, needs painting. I examined NO excitability from any other person . Not even kids, that much. The tables were filthy, and sticky looking. And it wasn't even noon yet. The employees look bored. The funnel cake, my daughter and I ordered, was tough and chewy, and not to order(fresh) , had been sitting awhile. Stayed 2 hours, maybe a little longer. Personally, Silver Dollar City, more worth the money and enjoyment.

Allison Davis

We had a lot of fun for the most. The downsides is there is a lot of area to cover, If you park at worlds of fun and end the day at oceans, the walk back to your car is SUPER long. Some sort of trolley would be helpful. The food prices and portions (minus panda express) are not worth what you pay, a minimum of $15 meal with tax. I would highly reccomend purchasing a souvenir cup as refills are free the first day and only $1 the second, otherwise it's a bout $5 for a paper cup soda. Kids has a blast on the rides, ride attendants were super duper nice minus a few duds along the way. Overall we had a very good time. Parking is also $19 a day. Or for few extra parks you can park VIP and park closer to entrancea. Bathrooms were most definitely less to be desires, they smelt funky and were not that clean, a good update of them and cleanse would be good . Lines to the rides weren't terrible, oceans was super busy and husband and kids waited almost an hour at hurricane falls to ride, and taking kiddos into paradise falls was overwhelming as well. Also leave what can behind, a locker is minimum $15 for a small (one bag) and $30 for a large (3 bag).

elizabeth gardner

Lines were 2 hours long. We only had time for two haunted houses and a few rides. Drink passes were worth our money. The food passes were okay. Limited food. Everyone was out of ice and most sodas. Don't eat subway. You only have three choices. Only 1 choice of bread.

Laura Shingleton

Very disappointed! Always love coming here and thought it would be a fun day to spend with my son. We paid a lower price for coming after 4:00 (but still paid $100 for 2 tickets). We’ve been in the park over an hr and still have yet to ride any rides. Employees are slow moving making lines impossible to move quickly. For what we pay here in the park Id like to actually get to ride something. We’ve stood in 3 different lines that have failed to move. So annoying. Hopefully we can get a little moneys worth.

Kathy Moore

We went there on the 5th of July. It was cloudy and no lines!! It was an amazing day!! Bathrooms were always spotless! The workers seem extremely unengaged and very unmotivated on the worlds of fun side then we went to the oceans of fun side and I was so impressed with the employees!! Highly engaged and very kind! Prices are extremely high for food and drinks as always.

Beth Vogt

The kids loved it. We went during Carnivale and it was amazing. Best parade I've ever seen. Can't wait to go back.

Matt Rausch

Good experience but parking cost and food WAY TOO HIGH!! Come on WORLDS of FUN! seriously your prices are WAY too HIGH.. I mean really $15.00 every time I want to put something in my mouth. SERIOUSLY!!!

Brian williams

Bought season passes with fast lane pass only to find out that they sometimes close the fast lane pass on rides without giving a reason. Went to two drink kiosks today, bought extremely over priced sodas and both times was told, sorry we are out of ice. The soda was warm and they seemed surprised it was warm. Both times said they couldn't give a refund. Several of the food places were out of the main food selections so why not post a sign at the door before allowing people to stand in line for 20 minutes only to be told they are out of what you want to order? Honestly folks, save your money and go to Disney World, at least they know proper customer srrvice.

Johnathan Chittum

Had a great time with my family. The Halloween haunt is very fun as well.

Victoria Stamper

Wish we'd stayed longer. This place is literally located right outside of the theme park, how cool!!! Super convenient pull through spots. My husband and I came in very late at night and the security staff was very helpful checking us in. Super kid friendly and pets are welcome. Would like to return to this stop.

Jackeline Diapis

Loved this place so much! I went there with my family whose age range from 7years old to 79 years old and we all had a great and fun time! The rides were thrilling, the park was clean and well taken care of, the staff was nice, and the ice cream was great! The roller coasters were so fun! The water park was outstanding!!!! So many cool slides and rides. They have a pool with waves!!!! Awesome place!

Hailey Cox

Season passes are worth it ! Once you attend twice on a normal priced ticket...you would have paid for the season pass to go all of the time! Foods expensive but very very good. There are dining deals for the day that are worth it! The chefs are incredible! Love all the rides. Sometimes they get closed down but that's not all day! Keep checking back...they start running again very quickly. Mu 5 year old loves the spinning dragons ! That's one of the faster rides that meet his height requirement. Hes getting a little big for planet snoopy once he gets a feel for the other faster rides. Fun fun !

Kira Mandl

Worlds of Fun is a wonderful park. If you are looking for thrills, they have them and if you want some fun activities for young kids, they have those too! They do have some healthy options like the burrito restaurant so we appreciated that. The burrito place also has gluten free and dairy free options. Unfortunately at on of the restaurants, we did have poor service. My travelling companion can not have dairy and when we asked if there was dairy in on of their vegetables, the server said no so we ordered it. When we sat down to eat, you could taste the dairy in it so we went back and asked and the cook came out of the kitchen to confirm that there was indeed dairy in that particular vegetable dish. The server did not apologize for her mistake nor did she seem to understand the seriousness of that situation. Thankfully my companion's dairy intolerance is not an anaphylactic allergy otherwise this would have been much more serious. The food supervisor happened to be checking up on the restaurant shortly after so we informed her and she was wonderful. She apologized for the employees behaviour and said she would make sure that doesn't happen again. We appreciated her customers service.

psalm 46:10

fun amusement park that's also part of a water park. If you get a season pass it will pay for itself if you go twice. The food and drinks are over priced just like most of these places but you can bring your own. the only reason I don't give it 5 stars is how would I review Disney land.

Julieta Contreras

I went to worlds of fun, and had terrible service at the Viking voyage because I had lost my purse in the water and I asked help but the people that work there did not want to help. Yes it’s true that was my responsibility but there job is to at least try and get it back to the owners. There was this one women called Diana, she had a bad attitude and she did not want to help me. So, I do not understand why I had to pay so much for rides and stuff but they can not help out with one simple task. I re that if you go you at least leave your important items at home.

Dan Leaman

It's a great place to take your family. Lots of different rides for all different ages. Good food and good fun in the water park

Jason Mahan

We went late in the summer before the beginning of the school year. There wasn't many people and the lines for the rides where short. It would be best to buy the meal passes it will save you money in the long run. The souvenir cups will also save you enough to pay for themselves. We all felt that the Mamba was the best rollercoaster out of them all. The food was was surprisingly good but not at all restaurants it might just be personal taste. There where enough rides to keep you entertained for at least one day for us it was two and that's just in the one park.

Jennifer McMullen

We had a blast when we went. Not very long waits for the rides and they are very fun

Leona Bellingroehr

No shows whatsoever. Only 2 rides I wanted to ride. The old cars, line was over an hour maybe longer, and the train was closed also. What a waste of a 3 hour trip. JBHUNT Company picnic was a waste of time. No shows or anything going on besides long long lines to ride. Won't be coming back even if it was free. 6 hours in the car for nothing but exercise.

Eheart Polarbear

It's a great theme park, Fun roller coasters and other rides, my favorite's the bamboozler. A lot of rides are down if it rains so try to avoid that obviously. You can get free water in cups from the various places for food or drinks around the park.

Peter J

Much like 6flags. If you don't mind hardcore rollercoasters then it's a place for you. For me personally the best ride is the viking boats and there's always a way too long line on this one - hence 4 stars instead of 5..

Adam Love

Great place for kids. Roller coasters are ok but nothing incredible. You won't find anything here you cant find anywhere else but it's a fun place to be. Fireworks around the 4th are great. Halloween Haunt is a lot of fun.

Travis T

Well let's see where to start. Everything is so crazily over priced including tickets for a 3 year old and 2 parents with a discount after 4 is like almost 200 bucks that can only ride like 5 rides, almost every toy and stuff animal is 15 bucks, a sandwich is 11 bucks, people are hella rude and you have no personal space anywhere people step on your feet thinking it makes the line move faster, but it made my daughter happy so it gets 3 stars.

Justin Strickland

So this Halloween haunt is a joke. The best part is the actors that walk around. Attractions don't open up till 8pm, which is all good because you want it to be dark, but the lines are way to long even with the fast pass. If you want to go you'll only be able to get to 3 maybe 4 attractions. On top of that, once the attractions open up it becomes EXTREME chaos. Kids running around with no adult supervision and not enough staff to keep them under control. They push their way through, running people over. Definitely not worth it in my opinion

Angela Eley

Oceans of fun was fun for kiddos. There were too many teenagers running around in the little kids water area. The Lifeguards in the little kids area were great in Saturday. They kept the kids safe. The bathrooms were disgusting. That could have been better. All the employees were friendly.

Anne Kelly

The blood on the bayou was cool inside. My daughter lost her phone inside, but thankfully they quickly turned it into guest services. Thank you!

Carey Nestler

Love this amusement park! Definitely family friendly! Great for people of all ages! Its definitely worth it to get a season pass, dining plan, and all season drink cup! I absolutely love it!

Cody Russell

It's a wonderful place to take the kids. It's even better for a much needed adult vacation. The mamba is awesome if you love hardcore thrill rides. They have a little of everything

Linda Ramirez

Most of the rides were closed. The cost to enter ther park is easy to much if the riders are not operating...very disappointed!

Orraya Samrit

Good rides , lots of food options. I stayed at village for few days kinda love it there. You can see city night view from the mountains.
