You pay for what you get. It’s NOT a nice hotel but we more like a motel. No coffee in the room. We weren’t in the room much and expected the hotel or motel to be outdated. The park was great for the kids. The water slides and rides. Food from 7-10 was always busy!!!! At 7pm you were waiting an hour and this was in a Monday and Tuesday. We waited 15 minutes one time at 9:45pm. Employees were nice and grounds were clean. Some rides closed early like at 6 or 7pm. If you can look pass the rooms it’s not a bad place. The price was right too!

Okay, I just want to say first off when your looking at booking this hotel your thoughts are probably "at the very least it's a good hotel with all of the standard features." That was my thought too. BUT when we arrived and got into our room that was not what we saw. I mean, yes all of the necessary things are here, but while there is a microwave there is not a coffee machine in the room. There also does not seem to he a TV guide as we've searched every drawer in the room. The bathroom door sticks pretty badly and the air conditioner/heating is loud and the door to the room itself squeaks and squeals pretty bad. They do have an indoor pool but there does not seem to a hot tub anywhere in site so if you want to relax in the hot tub and then have the luxury of going straight to your room- forget it. And there is not any kind of breakfast offered. All the pillows are flat and the blanket on the bed is pretty thin. And the charging ports located on the bedside lamps in the room do not work either, not even if you turn on the light. Honestly, though the staff were nice the best thing about this hotel is that you get bracelets for free entrance and free rides for the Mt. Olympus water and theme park and the fact that it basically shares a parking lot with a fast food restaurant.

The hotel employees barely speak English. It is impossible to try to talk to them or ask them for info or help on something. It took almost 5 minutes just to order an overpriced chicken finger that somehow ended up with 3 sides of cheese and a root beer we got charged for. The guests have no respect for others. My family and I were up I til after 3am because of people running through the halls and being absolutely obnoxious. Smoking right at the door you walk into to get into your room. We came on a Wednesday and it was great because we had the whole park to ourselves practically. But Friday rolls around and theres so many people you cant move. Eating and drinking in the pool. Absolutely disgusting. I will never again come back here and not have one nice thing to say about it. We called security 2x on the people having a party above us and jumping on our ceiling and they have done nothing.

Our family stayed for two nights. Stayed in building 28. Room was clean , towels, bedding, bathroom. Room has no seating no dresser no coffee. Microwave sits on top of mini fridge. We did get a roll away bed and extra blankets in a timely manner. Less than 30 mins. Vending and ice across parking lot. Room is definitely just a motel. NOT a hotel. Hotels are more inviting and feel comfortable. You would think with all the money they are making they would invest into their MOTELS! Staff was very friendly and informative. Anytime my family goes on a trip we almost always extend our check out time for later never have been told No. upon checking in I was told that extending my check out time would not be a problem call the day of before 10:30am. I called at7 am asking for a later time and said no they could not due that. Really?!?! They were full to capacity and we had to check out at 10:30. I guess that’s what happens when your staying at a motel, village, building complex, and not a hotel! Water park was fun and clean. We didn’t go to the theme area. My boys enjoy their time in the water. Wave pool is fun. Body slides were pretty cool too. My husbands feet were hurting bad due to planter faciaities and they had no motorized chairs to rent. We will never stay here again. We may visit the water and theme park but never pay to stay here. Have fun and choose wisely!

Please note: I am reviewing MTO Resorts off the highways. Thank you Where do I start. First the room wasn't ready at the time period. Second they did not clean our room even though they are supposed too. Lastly the staff here are the worst. We went and asked nicely to go and clean our room and why they didn't. I will admit my father was really upset. We told them a half an hour to clean the room and they didn't even start. My father them went to ask for a refund and said no. Worst place out there. Do not stay here even if it's the only place there is.

We had a pleasant check in. But we were put in a room really far from all the entertainment. They moved us a whole lot closer at no extra charge, which we were thankful for. All the staff were so friendly. The beds were clean, the room and bathroom were clean. They were very quick to bring us extra blankets. The only complaint was the toilet didn't flush well. Be warned if you stay here, there are different areas of stay - hotel rome, mt Olympus resorts, mt Olympus waterpark...etc. Call to verify your booking in the area you want.

I live the nice view we got in front of our room , a table outside the door so we can all eat outside I loved it The park is amazing the life guards very aware when people are swimming The rides are awesome Just loved everything about it and paid very low price for everything we enjoyed

Scott Humpfer

The only redeeming quality was the free parking and the access to the theme park and water park which is not much of an incentive. The waterpark and theme park were over crowded. In addition once we did check in we had to wait 30 minutes to get in the room because the door was not working. The room was not in the best shape and we could hear other people outside the room with no problem. I would recommend not staying here. I feel like we would have gotten more for our money staying somewhere else and then going to other attractions at the dells.

I have been coming here for 15 years and have seen major changes for the hotel (before hotel Rome) including the main check in which doesn’t make sense for people staying at Rome. The quality has gone down majorly and updates haven’t been done at the hotel or the park. Tonight we got kicked out of a space because we had the wrong wristband on, but yet paid for the main hotel. If your going to over populate this place at least have quality amenities at EVERY building.

The park was fair I would reccomend bringing older children 8& up lots of go carts that are very slow. The roller coasters are pretty aggressive. The water park is small but has a little bit for everyone. Older teens to adults will enjoy it but it won't be over the top thrilling. Also parking was $20 and locker rental was $10 the price of everything at the park was outrageous. The tickets for the individual parks were really cheap.

I got a cabin for my nephews birthday and it was a joke after being at the park I realized I had to wait to get the room number for a cabin that was filled with spiders an cob webs everywhere. Stoped to see the room around 6 decided not to even stay live in the area got it for somthing fun for my autistic nephew after the bad experience we had at the theme park in the last three hours that is open for guests the staff did not care about anyone's safety on the trojan or titans something track two J1s let people slam go carts into each other my nephew spun out as I was slowly passing to stop an see if he was okay some child plows into us and the staff yelled at me to keep driving when I was checking on my autistic nephew that wouldn't understand them.with their strong accents. So by 9pm we had enough of the place an went home didnt want to get a different cabin or have that one cleaned. So I go to the front desk next morning an was treated horrible by front desk staff an manager told to talk to park managers about the go carts that they couldnt help with that and because I didnt say anything the night before all I get is 10% off next stay which is ridiculous then once the manager walked away all other staff ignored me I was only person in the lobby at 8am on a thursday and even said are you all just going to ignore me they said nothing till I just walked away what a joke I have been in this area an customer service for years i have never seen or been treated that way ever !!!!

This is my review of Mt. Olympus. We have been here once in the past and had a blast, we came back knowing that we would have an excellent experience again, but we’re quickly proved wrong. It all started when we went to the new designated check in area. We came on a Friday to check in to a 2 bed queen villiage. We had two of our friends meeting us the next day, both of which were on the reservation. When we tried to Check in the lady helping us almost wouldn’t let us access the room because the other people weren’t there to provide ID’s. Finally after talking to the manager we were able to gain access to our room. We made our to building 8 where our reservation was for. We quickly noticed many bugs flying around inside, the tv and the phone were not working after trying all we could to fix them ourselves. We had to call someone to replace the tv and said he would fix the phone another time because he had other TV’s to replace. After finally unwinding, we wanted to go get ice for our cooler, only to find out it wasn’t working. We had to have another person come out and let us in to another building just to get a small bucket of ice. Waking up Saturday morning while the bugs were still flying about, we greeted our friends at our room. We decided we wanted to check out the outdoor theme park. We were excited to ride all of the roller coasters and the 7 go kart tracks that were advertised. To our surprise only 2 roller coasters were open and 2 go kart tracks and a kids track, which were also one of the only attractions open. We waited in line for each attraction for an average of 30-35 minutes. After riding one roller coaster and one go kart track we decided to go to the indoor water park. You had to wait 30 people deep to go onto the lazy river or even to get a tube to then just wait in another 30-40 person deep line for the only tube slide available. We wanted to just go swim in the pool and not wait for a slide. To find out the pool was so overcrowded there wasnt any room to move and enjoy it, not to mention the water was a murky grey green color. Then we wanted to go into the new whirlpool hot tub, just for it to be filled with children splashing and jumping around. The sick life guard had a broken stop watch so we didn’t get a full 10 minutes like the sign says. This was the last straw for the indoor water park. We went back to our room and saw our neighbor two doors down getting kicked out by hotel security and a police officer. Feeling a little worried, we decided to go to the strip. We came back around 10 to watch some tv and get ready for bed. Around 11:30 we heard a huge bang against the wall. Followed by little girls screaming and a man yelling at a women. This argument went on for about 10 minutes before it was taken outside where we could hear them plain as day. We then called the police since we were worried for our safety, not to mention the three little girls who are witnessing all of this. The police came and talked to the neighbor and us about the situation. We answered all of the officers questions while shaking with anxiety and fear. Thankfully around 1 am we finally were able to switch our rooms. On the way to our new room the manager told us “these things happen all of the time” and that isn’t something that I think guests should here coming from an employee. Sunday morning we woke up and checked out as soon as we could because we didn’t want to be in that environment longer than we had to be. Once again, we have come here before loving the experience, but if this is what Mt. Olympus has turned into, we don’t know if we want to experience what we went through again. We hope other people don’t have to go through what we had to this weekend and I hope this message doesn’t fall upon deaf ears.

Park is great. Roller coasters are good for the kids. Go Karts were all awesome. Grand kids had a great time. Water park is pretty cool. Poseidon's Rage was totally cool!

Expensive but my children really enjoyed the water and amusement park. We were given $200 in spending for food and suvionoirs, such a wonderful addition to our stay. However, the room was a little dirty and while attempting to dine at the Gladiator Bar & Grill at the resort. There was an African girl who was so rude. My family ordered dinner and she was so rude & angry she slammed our food down at the table and when my husband asked for bbq sauce she waved her hand at him and slammed it down in front of him. My daughter came up and ordered a burger with no cheese the girl slammed down a pen, rolled her eyes and went to the back with another African girl and they both proceeded to taunt my daughter from the kitchen, I was so afraid that they were tainting her food. I advised her not to eat it. We did not finish our food because they were both so rude and angry. I am an African American women & I was ashamed of how they were behaving. This part of the trip was very troubling I believe she was upset because I have a large family of 6. Instead of matching her energy, we just decided to leave the restaurant on the resort and go have dinner somewhere outside of the resort. Mt. Olympus, What happened to customer service ?

Disappointed. Definitely a motel experience and not a resort like advertised. We were in building 14 which required a drive to the park. Towels were like sand paper, just like the blankets on the beds. Bunk beds were too gross for the teenagers to sleep in. The mattress and pillows were so thin and basically worthless. Indoor theme park was a joke. Most all rides are gone and replaced with some arcade games. The free food for resort guests- OMG

Monique Beauchamp

False advertising on the website. Don't believe anything they say. Lots of extra hidden fees when making the reservations. Manager told me that all the resorts charge a resort fee which I have found to be false. Called to cancel the reservations and was told that I would have to pay $50 cancellation fee when I just called 4 hours prior and reserved the room. Watch the prices on the rooms also. They charged an extra 7.50 per night than what was listed on the web. Along with the 39.99 "resort fee". Check around first before calling here

This was me and my family first time to Wisconsin Dells /Mt. Olympus.. We stayed Sun-Wed we loved the water park and the roller coasters .. My only complaint is no way of contacting front desk .. Like the phone lines not connected.. No one never brought towels my husband had to flag down the hotel staff that was cleaning rooms to get new towels.. I’m not pleased at all with the room they have this big Ac near bathroom that u can’t reach to turn off .. The tv remote didn’t go with the big old fashioned tv that was in room .. The front desk is miles away so it’s not like I could keep popping up to complain

Kimberly Gatzow

Headache! On the rollercoaster, you get smashed around. Understand they are wooden rollercoasters, but I never been on one that gave me headache and made my neck hurt. The go carts are fun to ride but by the time you get into to ride you inhaled so many fumes that it ain’t worth it. Just sitting in the pits guests were hitting the gas and the smell was horrific. There were also very small children being subjected to that. No very safe. Also, they sectioned part of the water park to guests only. The lady there is totally rude and won’t let you even look at the area. She was literally yelling in my face, you can’t go in. You literally ruined any chance of buying a room, if I can’t see what extra parts of the park I can use. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend

We stayed in building 25, on our first night there our car got keyed. The hotel is filled with people just hanging out smoking pot from sunrise to sunset. Spend the money and stay somewhere else. Was supposed to have a $30 food credit but it wasn’t on account when we checked in. They said we could do free food from 5-8 so we said that was fine instead. However 5pm came and went and they didn’t put the food out. We gave up at 6pm and went to get food at a restaurant.

James Brammer

Horrible hotel rooms. Loud people above our room. TV service kept cutting out repeatedly. Would not recommend and will not return. Do your research before you stay here.

Michael Graham

Room 30513 1. Old refrigerator froze our food and drinks, ruined everything we had bought for our stay (2 nights for 6 people). 2. Advertised website advertises "free food and soda for resort guests" ...well, we asked, we looked and were told no there is no free soda or food. We asked many employees at the Theme Park and at the food stands. 3. Room was old and dated, patches on ceilings. Cleaning was okay mostly, only concern was hairballs in the corner and a strange odor in the room. 4. For the price we paid for the room and Theme Park it was not worth it. We will be back to the Dells but will not give our money to Mt Olympus again. 5. Beds were very uncomfortable and linens were old and cheap.

When I booked my stay the emails I received did not say that the room was not guaranteed until 4:00pm, they only said that check in was at 10:30am. My boyfriend and I arrived at 10:00am to check in and we were told our room was not ready yet. we had to drive around the downtown dells for 3 hours waiting for our room because all of our stuff to visit the water parks were in our suitcases. When we finally got the text that our room was ready we went to our hotel and we could not get into our room. Are key card worked but the door would not open so we called maintenance and all he did was try to use his key card to open the door until it finally worked after about 10 minutes. His exact words to us were "I have no idea how I got the door to open so hopefully it doesn't happen to you again because I won't know how to fix it" and then he left. Once we got inside our room we got dressed for the waterpark and left. When we got to the waterpark we were extremely underwhelmed after about 2 hours we left the park because we found there was nothing that we really would like to do and we went back to our hotel. again the door would not open and instead of calling maintenance we decided to just try and open the door sells because he said he wouldn't be any help to us, after 10 minutes of trying to open the door we finally were able to get it open. we both use the bathroom and found that the toilet had a problem with flushing and unless we use the plunger while it was flushing it would not go down. we left our hotel room to go to dinner and when we came back the same thing happened, we had to spend another 10 minutes trying to get inside our room. we were finally able to sit down on our bed and we realized that they were black specks all over the pillows and the bedding we were extremely worried that they were bed bugs and didn't even want to sleep in our bed and even considered sleeping on the floor. We ended up sleeping on top of our sheets and not using the pillows. our bed was extremely uncomfortable and I would have not been any different if we had slept on the floor. when I got up in the morning I went to take a shower and found that the shower head would barely work and only a tiny bit of water would come out. when I went to grab a towel from our bathroom to dry off I looked and I saw that there was hair from previous guests all over the towels and I ended up using my beach towel I brought with me from home. we had planned on going to the theme park after we checked out but after a horrible night we decided to leave around 9:00am to go home. I received an email from them asking to rate our stay and told them everything that happened in the review. Someone from customer service reached out to me in an email and I responded to them and they have not gotten back to me since. They clearly don't actually care about what happened went wrong during my stay. Save up your money a little more and go to the Kalahari instead.

The staff at the water park and at the main check in were all super nice. Enjoyed them all very much. The rooms themselves were a huge issue. The first room we had was absolutely terrible. When we first got there, there were people smoking weed on their balcony. When we went into our room, there was no power at all. When we checked out the whole room, there was disgusting brown/yellowish goop all over the toiled and shower/bathtub. The staff was very apologetic and gave us a much better room in a better building. The room was clean and very nice. Only problem was that since the walls were so thin, we could clearly hear the neighbor children screaming and the adults screaming well into the early morning. If you're interested in Mount Olympus, I recommend the water park, I just do not at all recommend staying there.

Timtaysha Shannon

Rooms and water park is dated! It’s pretty expensive! Our room was ragged and the bed linen was very thin! Kids had a good time at the water parks! There was rust throughout the water park and you could tell that there hasn’t been a remodel NEVER! Staff was rude! Not worth the cost I would’ve liked to stay in a Marriott and then buy tickets for the water park! It was okay!

Beth Marino

I enjoy the park, but will not stay at the resort again. The WiFi at the hotel was so horrible it was non existent....and considering that the dells is a dead zone for a lot of carriers that was unfortunate. Our window also overlooked the pool, which made for very annoying and early mornings..as the playful children enjoying the pool were only a couple feet from our window. The hotel staff were rude and unhelpful, anytime we asked a question they just told us to look at the map. The experience at the water park was fine.

Michelle

I was not going to book here do to the reviews I read online thru numerous places but I am so glad I went with my gut and stuck with it! The reviews are nothing of what this place was. We had the greatest time ever! I booked for 3 nights giving us 4 days total and it was worth every penny I spent! The staff was awesome, yea sure they aren't all american but very respectful, helpful and polite. The one lady in the arcade really irked my nervous but I'm not gonna give this place any less of a review because of it. The hotels were amazing and clean, not one issue with my room at all. I dont understand any of the bad reviews on here. The beds were more comfy then my own bed, blankets weren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be and my pillows were comfortable and not flat at all. We weren't the biggest fans of the inside parks but we explored the area and did other things during the evening. The outdoor stuff was great!! We hit just about everything there and experienced it all! I have no complaints about anything here and if you are thinking about booking, do it! I promise you, you will have an awesome time!!

Jessica Strand

The best theme/water park combo around. So much fun! Great variety

Mia Buzo

Not a mt. Olympus hotel guest, but the promise of entertainment has gone down the drain. You will waste money on the arcade as most of the games seem to be out of order, and the rides are more uncomfortable than fun (loose at that). However, the only thing that seems to redeem the hotel’s rate from being one star is the waterpark, and the go karts.

Amanda Pineda

Extremely disappointed and disgusted! We booked online thinking we were going to be staying at hotel Rome which is the hotel right on the grounds same as the water park, only to find out the day we get there that is not the case. First of all we checked in at some place miles away from the actual park. It through me off at first but then I thought maybe that was smart since it would probably be super over crowded in the actual grounds. We couldn’t get into our room until about 4 pm so we went to the water park right away to kill some time. Finally around 4 pm we got the text that our room was ready. We decided to go eat and get settled in. I was confused by the text which said “building 8” I thought it was one big hotel. We drove to building 8 and it was a tiny motel NOT at all what we were expecting! The room was totally disgusting!!! Bugs were smashed into the wall, hair on the beds, bathroom floor was filthy, we didn’t take our shoes off at all. I’ve seen better looking houses on “Hoarders” We didn’t even stay the extra night, instead we booked a different room at the Holiday Inn which felt like a pristine palace compared to the roach motel at Mt.Olympus. We will Never stay there again!!

Mackenzie Martinsen

It was fun... definitely one of the smaller water parks and amusement parks. some things got boring. I was finished with water park in 5 hours and amusement park in 2 not bad though. I have to say though the resort rooms really disappointed me . It was less of a resort and more of a motel/knights inn. When I walked in the room the beds were very springy send it smelled of mildew my least favorite part is how it was not connected to the actual parks. I just had to get used to it.

Katherine Leahy

So much fun! I went there with a friend and enjoyed it throughly. Food was pricey, but you expect that from a theme park. All rides were awesome except the Pegasus was rattling all the time and hurt our heads. But other than that, so much fun!

Kristy Sarvela

Gross. How do they charge this much for what looks like an old apartment building? The floors are worn, waterdamaged and dirty. Walls are touched up with different color paint. The bathroom is from the 70s with tiles coming up off the floor. Bed is uncomfortable, blankets are gross and thin. Oh, and we found a half eaten English muffin with peanut butter on it in between the mattress on the bunk bed. Classy resort. There are over 20 different buildings...some look nice- but half are in old motels converted into part of this "resort". Will never stay here again, and won't reccomend to anyone. Would recommend the hilton, holiday kn Express or anywhere but here.

Carl Borovicka

I and my family decided to go to the Dell's for a weekend getaway. I saw the deal's going on af Mount Olympus, nice pictures of their rooms, and attractions. I booked a 2 queen room. We arrived to check and was assigned a room in building 17. After a 10 minute drive we arrived. Small pool and slide in center of the complex that had a foot of dirty water has not been used all year. The room decor was from the 60's, air conditioner unit had day light coming through around it and so did the front door. A old dirty 2 person hot tub in the sleeping quarters that I wouldn't bath a dog in. Nothing at all like the pictures. I called and complained and after some arguing we were assigned a room advertise in the picture. I wonder how many people don't complain and get ripped off. I could of stayed at a days in saved over a hundred dollars and had a room 20 times better. If you want to spend over $360 after tax for bad customer service, false advertisement, hassle on vacation, drive everywhere at the resort, dirty floors, then this is definitely the place for you.

Lorrie Owens

We bought our tickets through Bluegreen vacations, it was well worth the 5.00 ticket price, I wish we would have been able to purchase tickets to enjoy “the whole park”. We enjoyed the water park and the amusement park!!!! Money well spent!!!

Gregory Doege

While here never recieved any house keeping, had to use the same towels over and over again after making countless phone calls to front desk to bring me towels. Never received any till I had to drive to the main desk and demand towels. Notice I said had to drive to main desk that's because they have no main desk located in the resort. They don't have the essentials that a main resort has like dolly's to move stuff from vehicle to room or vice versa. Save your money and stay at the motel 8 I'm being serious. Indoor theme park isnt a theme park it's an arcade with a few kids rides that we couldn't even do because they didnt have enough employees to have them running. The pool was what was expected other then on the weekends you have no room to swim or anything because it becomes way to packed. Just a piss poor overall experience. If you decide to come to dells stay somewhere else dont let this place ruin your vacation like it did mine.

Roger Lautz

We took advantage of a special offer, but I can't recommend the rooms. The TV is a 25" tube type that is 15 years old. The shower flips from scalding to freezing. The wifi does not work. The beds are thin. Got bunks for the kids, which were not made when we arrived. And this is a motel room about 2 miles from the park. We have enjoyed the park before, but I'm not impressed with my first time staying here. Not worth it even with the deal.

Kayla Matthis

This was the WORST vacation. First day, we ended up being in the slums of the resort. Then we had no hot water, toilet didn't flush, and the security guards walked the halls with their loud speakers ALL NIGHT! Called the desk and they said they'd send maintenance. Waited for 3 hours and no one showed. Next day, went to talk to a manager and they would "make it right" by giving us a new room in a new building. We didn't get our new room until 3:50pm, after we were out of the old room at 9am, roomless for that long and we're STILL unable to shower for all that time. We get to the new room which is no different than the first, except now the AC didn't work. Still no one come to fix it. After talking to maintenance that was working next door, we find that they're burning that room for BED BUGS

Kyle Cavanaugh

Terrible. Don’t be fooled by the cheaper price or online advertising. We have been coming to the Dells for the past 6 years as our kids have grown up. This trip, we thought to try something new... Warning!!! They sell day passes, so this park is not reserved for paying guests only! The first room we got was on the ground floor with broken locks on the windows. We then had to travel 10 minutes back to the check in area, which is NOT on the property to get a new room. Don’t look for anyone onsite to help you with rooms, keys or anything. It unfortunately rained both days we were here, and the indoor water park filled up with people climbing over each other to get one of the very limited number of chairs or tubes. There was a 20 to 40 min wait to get a tube! This coupled with the indoor water park being very small was very discouraging. The rooms are dated and in disrepair. Beds and pillows are uncomfortable. There was a funky smell in the halls, like piss. We received no room turn down service, even after calling twice. There is an indoor theme park, but what is advertised is not what you get. It’s a huge space full of tables with a tiny arcade and 4-5 games. The “larger” rides were not even in operation or present, even on a rainy day! The only good thing to say about this dump is the outdoor amusement park. The Hades 360 ride is lights out, but should be a 54 inch limit, not 48. Not for young kids. The high swing ride is also unsafe, there are no shoulder restraints or seat belts. That said, there were a lot of fun roller coasters and go karts. Overall, if you can afford to go somewhere else, do it!

Tina dillon

I'm giving it a 3 only because I didn't expect much for the price we paid. The accommodations are not the greatest. When entering the room it smelled musty and dirty we had flies and a spider. The water park and the rides are as expected, fun for all. Dont expect free food unless you would like to wait in line for a significant amount of time. Indoor water park is overcrowded I'm shocked that they wouldn't have some capacity rules. They say no outside food in water park, however I did see numerous people with outside food. Overall the sleep accommodations not the greatest water park was a great time.

Lori Leikness

No coffee maker in room! WTH! Many rooms did not have them (ran into other guests who were also going for coffee), the 3 guest we talked to were also told there was a coffee maker in the room. Parking was Ridiculous! Request made By calling the front desk were not met. There were children or adults really not sure running through the hotel well after midnight. Speaking with other guests the next morning said that they had called and said security was on the way that never happened!! What a waste of money to go to this place!! Will never spend any money there again!! There are way better places in the Dells.

Spent three days at the dells recently. I realized that it was during the off season, but I purchased 3 tickets to Mt. Olympus hoping that the indoor parks would be open...well that was a joke! The confirmation email I received said the tickets were good from May 25th - October 31st. Still haven't heard back about getting a refund...

Cody Klein

The reviews are extremely correct about this “resort” Staff at the check in and at the amusement park we’re extremely rude. Poor customer service! Rooms are outdated for the price you pay. My bathtub didn’t drain and it took them 2 days to fix!! The “free soda and food” isn’t in the amusement park and only in the indoor water park. Guest get an extra 3 hours at the park, but most of the rides close anyway! Be aware. Don’t waste you’re time here.

Dean Smith

Great family time getaway @ affordable price. Room was nice and clean. Free pizza was really good & employees really nice and helpful. All seven of us agreed our package was the best value ever !!!

Katie Pitterle

The outdoor theme park and water park are a lot of fun. But if it rains the indoor water park is so tiny you can’t enjoy anything. Also you cannot bring in any beverages or snacks. They expect you to pay $3.50 for a water. Plus if you stay at any of the hotels that are not the one right in the water park area your gonna be walking a country mile to get to the park. However the rooms are nice.

Jenni McTeer

We paid 400 dollars a night for the hotel with an upgraded room and so not impressed with this place. It attracts the wrong kind of people I don’t want my kids around, some people are nice but some are just rude. We saw a big brawl break out with at least 8 adults and I had to cover up my kids eyes because I didn’t want them to see. The theme park is an indoor cheap arcade, Dave and Busters has way better. Shopping stinks, and there is no indoor restaurants here. Indoor and outdoor water park is filled with with people who like to push and shove your kids. If your kids say the pool is nasty, the pool is nasty! I won’t ever go in the pool again. The rooms for 400 dollars a night the toilet broke, lights didn’t work and the a/c didn’t work right. But the biggest shock was a fight breaking out in a kid friendly environment. It should never, ever happen. In addition the rooms had one roll of toilet paper, you call the front desk and ask for more they ask for a reservation number. I call from a internal phone and pay 400 dollars a night and you can’t bring toilet paper? Ridiculous! PS... the roller coaster was not running and appeared to be broke and there is nothing but false advertising here. Bottom line, for the money you can do way better.

We were just there over Labor Day with a day pass. We wanted ro use the pool and water slides. They had us park the farthest possible from the doors. There is no light getting into this enormous place. Its very large, hilly, and over crowded. Throngs of people and strollers. There were no open chairs anywhere we went. In the end, we left, never used anything. I understand Labor day will bring a crowd, but the whole place is awful.

Lauren Cardinal

Hotel Rome was absolutely disgusting. Had mold in the room and stunk. Paid them $50 to leave.

brad cowger

This place is a joke. First off it's not a resort you'll be staying in a motel 6 style hotel with absolutely no service, uncomfortable beds, no water pressure, I literally felt like I was in the new York slums. The kids didn't know any different and had fun in the park while very small and lacking in rides. The "free food" at 7 for resort guest was a nightmare. Stood in a hot stuffy line for 1.5 hourS for 2 slices of tasteless pizza, only fun part was the multiple fights we got to see while standing in line. We didn't even get clean towels in our room and when I called the lady said they are saving the environment. Will never be back

mary marquardt

No coffee maker in the hotel! That was a big surprise. The hotel window didn't lock and the hotel room door didn't latch! No water shoes are allowed on the water rides which doesn't make sense. But the good parts were that they gave you a parking pass with the hotel stay. And the free food at 7pm wasn't bad. The hotel room was cheap so you get what you paid for.

Bill Bastion

we We’re very disappointed with our stay. we were going to camp in the dells but chose not to because of the great marketing that mount Olympus has on the website. Free food ,guest only attractions ,water park tickets we were sold. I began by booking a room in hotel Rome that’s what I thought. I was given a check in address after the confirmation after goggling it found out that mt Olympus owns most of the hotels in town. After check in we ended up in building 5. The was less than average very plain, and dirty (hair on the walls in the bathroom also cob webs on the window and door). The first thing we noticed was no coffee pot. Major disappointment. The pillows were inadequate. A sheet and a very thin blanket on the bed was inadequate as well. We were also surprised house keeping never visited our room for our entire stay.(3 nights). We decided to walk down to see what the park had to offer Friday at 4pm it was very busy lines on every ride the pools were were full. We found out that many of the rides and activities inside the park have additional fees it’s not all inclusive at all. We checked out the members only section only to find out that some of the rides or attractions there were closed and not opening for the weekend we were there closed for the season were were there on Labor Day weekend. All the parks and attractions close at different times.the free food is a false promise like every thing else with thousands of guests it’s almost impossible to eat. If you purchase alcohol it’s very expensive 13.75 for two bud lights. We chose to go to other activity’s in the area because of the amount of disappointment. We will never visit this business again and we will make sure that all of our family, friends and neighbors know all about Mt Olympus.

Daniel & Elaine Mabry

The theme park rides seemed ok and to go karts were fun, but the water park rides for non hotel guest were meager at best. They’re are about three adult rides and very long lines. Noah’s ark is 100 percent better in all categories than this park.

Crissy Skogsberg

Actually leaving now to find another place to stay! Horrible! The air conditioning doesn't work! Say they will be here to fix in 30 minutes. Said they were on their way an hour later. Sink drain would not drain. Gross. There is a reason it's a 2.5 star!

Donna Rehs

Our stay was awesome, staff very friendly. We left behind a very valuable possession by mistake. I cannot say enough about the quick response and the care and kindness that was demonstrated by the lost and found department. Thank you again, happy reunion with a little girl and her blankie.

Vishakha Parekh

Overall experience was good. The rooms are fine as well. Could be better. July 4th fireworks were great. Hotel staff was fine, most of them don't speak/understand English.

Aurea McClintock

What a horrible place to stay. First check in to our room the building was not secure. So they changed our room. Went to the second room. The bunkbeds were not cleaned. Plus the same issue the building doors were not secure locks broken or missing. We again were given another building. Went there same issue with the doors.plus the refrigerator was not working. The smell was atrocious. Given another building in the morning. Same issue morning no secure buildings.this was our 4th building still no secure doors.never ever would recommend this place to anyone.

Jane Gorecki

Wonderful prices during the week. We had a ton of fun. It would be great to go there again

Shaheen Eydgahi

The overall experience was underwhelming. The rooms were just ok, but there were several issues along the way. For starters, you have to call every morning to get your room cleaned - they won’t do it automatically like every other hotel in the world. On top of that, they don’t clean them until after 4pm, because after you’ve paid them, they just don’t care anymore. The bathroom had other people’s hair in it several days, which is gross. The beds and pillows are uncomfortable. However, it’s just a room - we didn’t pay to just sit in the room. The park, overall, is ok. The lines get long from about noon on. Most everything closes at 7pm. The private park for hotel guests closes at 6pm, which is ridiculous considering you can’t check in until after 4pm. We had one daughter who was 47.99” tall, and one day the staff was cool and let her go on rides. All the other days, they were ridiculously strict. They wouldn’t even let her in a hot tub with a parent. It was ridiculous, and she cried a few times because she wasn’t able to do things she had done before. I understand things like roller coasters or bigger rides, but a hot tub? A swing with a parent? Come on. The water parks were fun overall - a good amount of variety, and good areas for kids. We signed up for the package with free food/pop after 7pm - what a joke. The line was easily 1.5 hours long, and we showed up at 7pm on the nose. They give you one slice of pizza or one hot dog, and then you have to wait in line all over again if you want more. We didn’t even hang around one night because it was so ridiculous. I think you’d be better off staying somewhere else, and getting a day pass or two if you wanted to get into the park. The private waterpark is nothing special, so you’re not really missing anything.

The Original Bean

If you really want to know the truth about this place, talk to some of the locals. Not the seasonal workers....people who actually live and work in the Dells. I took my kids there a couple of years ago for a kick off to summer. NEVER again. They advertise a room at the hotel but you get a room at the Bates Motel! Since then we’ve been to a couple of other water parks and hotels in the Dells. A pontoon driver took us past Mt Olympus’ owners home. Damaged by fire (I believe) years ago, he hasn’t even taken the pride to fix a beautiful home on the lake. Was also told of his shady safety record and employment practices. I wouldn’t trust the rides here folks! Save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else.

Justin Lambert

It's a decent place. It's basic amenities but they make the money at the park. If you're expecting a Marriott you should stay there because you will be disappointed. If you are not planning on spending your entire time in the room it's great!!

Sandy Vang

Stayed at the village resort value room in building 22 2 floor for 2 nights. The bathroom towels looked liked they were folded back on the rack with a few hair strands left in it. Same goes for the bed, a few hair strands on the pillow where seemed like it’s flipped over on the clean side. The blanket is very thin like towel not thick, walls are thin can hear the other guests. Bathroom smells like urine hasn’t been mop off the floor. Feels more like a motel. Bad news is my niece and I got bed bug bites our first night there. But I had fun with my family at Mt Olympus. I will not purchase my stay there anymore, this will be my first and last booked.

Mike Schon

A fun place for the kids to have fun And adults to Just need more shaded areas

Amber N

The hotels are very outdated and alot of repairs in each room needs to be done. In 4 days of our stay, we had no room service (no clean towels, etc). The waterpark hours was very disappointing the week we were there. Counting in and out the pool towels was a joke. Spend a little more people and stay somewhere nicer for the money.

Kody Kellner

Staff is rude and clueless, most weren't anywhere to be found. Room amenities were piss poor. TV was tiny(like 30" or less) for a two bed room in hotel Rome! The air condition is a glorified fan. This is sad because I have fond childhood memories of how this place to used to be, now it's a huge disappointment.

colt long

It was one best waterparks iv been to 10 out 10 would recommend

Vanessa Markfort

We were very hesitant about coming after reading the reviews and even tried canceling. We ended up coming and are here right now. We asked for a closer room and got placed into building 5 which is walking distance to the park. (You can’t complain about walking when your going to an outdoor park lol) it isn’t the nicest park but the slides and rides are a ton of fun. The room... well you get what you pay for for $50/night +fees and taxes it is worth it. You are not staying in the Hilton we had no bugs, stains or dirty towels in our room. It does have an odd smell but what hotel smells great. AC works amazing and we will definitely be back!

⚠️⚠️PLEASE SHARE!! ⚠️⚠️ PLEASE READ We checked into Mt. Olympus last night 9/7/19 and we have had the WORST experience! *First woke up to a very loud noise in our ceiling at 5am -this building was only one floor so something was in/on the roof. I called the office and was told someone was coming to check things out and would fix the issue. Two security guards came to the outside of our window with a ladder and went into the roof/soffit. They then left and the noise continued. After dealing with two very rude customer service workers I gave up. Come to find out it was just raccoons.... *Then I went to get ready in the bathroom with Atalia (6 month old baby) and there was this scratching noise coming from the inside of the bathtub. I tapped on the side of the tub and the scratching became louder and harder. I called the office again and was told they would send someone. I recorded the noise so that they could listen to it. A some-what nice guy showed up to our door and asked if this was a code 11. I wasn’t sure. He went into the bathroom and could heard the scratching too. He told me that they often have raccoons get into the basement and they keep traps down there because they crawl into the bottom of the bathtub looking for water. WHAT?!! So I guess it’s a common thing for rodents to be in the rooms at this resort! He told me he was going to go into the basement to check the traps, and he didn’t come back. *At this point I was becoming very upset. And then our room began to fill up with the smell of strong Weed. We are in Wisconsin with our 6month old baby at a kids resort and the build stinks like weed. * Now I’m upset... make another call to the office and ask if there’s anything they can do about our bad experiences. I explain everything to a lady and she seemed very understanding she then sent me to a manager, I believe her name was Mary but not 100% because she had a very strong accent. She wanted me to explain to her what had happened, every though I was told each time I called previously that they were making notes of my calls... So I explained to her and she was VERY rude, she told me she didn’t understand me and that first I said there was rodents in the ceiling and now I’m saying they are actually in the bathtub. And I told her YES, they are everywhere! She said that each person that came to our room previously reported negative things ( which meant, yes there are multiple rodents and a strong smell of weed,) but because we check-out today there’s nothing she can do for us even though we only had a one night reservation. She continued to be very rude saying that she is not going to do anything for us. I asked if there was someone else I could speak to and she said no I told her that every person to answer my phone calls to the office was rude and she again said there’s nothing she could do. I decided to end the conversation. * As all of this craziness was going on I had already packed our bags and we headed out, even though we had hours before check out. Austin decides he is going to be the one to check out because I had no luck talking to anyone. They again listened to everything and said they couldn’t do anything about our bad experience. Austin had took pictures of the building because it was/ is not up to code and he explained this to the manager. She told him he could report it if he wanted to. * Lastly as he was checking out, TWO different groups of people came into the office to make complains. The first one reported they had BEDBUGS!!! And the second reported they had a LOTS of spiders which had bit their kids and their kids had huge bites on them!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This has been the worst experience!! Please share and pass along, you definitely do not want to bring kids to this resort. On top of everything, they were simple just rude.

Saira Del Rio

The beds were comfy and the bathroom was the best I’m willing to come again the food was awesome

First, let’s remember that the main goal of staying with Mt. Olympus Theme Park hotels is admission to the theme parks. No one is booking rooms here for their luxurious bedding and salon-grade complimentary shampoo and body wash. If you can see things from this perspective you’ll find your stay and play quite enjoyable. You’re paying for the tickets to their parks and they’re giving you a reasonably clean, average, place to sleep. No frills, no fuss, no free continental breakfast. What you’re getting for your money is worth so much more, however. Let’s start with the hotel: There are a lot of them. The main hotel is the Hotel Rome and that is right next to the parks. It’s pricier to stay there for obvious reasons. We stayed in the “village” hotel - think of them as little outlets throughout the Dells main strip. The rooms are quite average, fairly clean. They come with a TV, a mini fridge (with a small freezer area) and microwave (no coffee pot). The beds aren’t terribly comfortable but they’re not horrible either. Definitely sleep-able unless you’ve become accustomed to luxury sleeping - in which case I’d say you’re probably better off paying 3 times what Mt. Olympus charges for a slightly more comfortable bed to sleep on since your accustomed lifestyle can probably afford it. Keep in mind if the reason you’re visiting a theme park resort is to enjoy the theme park you’re really only going to be in your room for one reason - to sleep. The doors can be a little thin and I know the walls are. We had some horrid upstairs neighbors that were incessantly bouncing a ball above our heads. It sounded like a stampede of elephants for a good hour before I called hotel staff who said they were sending security for me. I waited 25 minutes and when the noise didn’t stop I called once more. Approximately 10 minutes later the noise stopped and I could hear security and their walkie talkies making sure all was quiet and good - which I appreciated. On to the good stuff - the theme park. Well worth the cost of your stay in the hotel. There’s roller coasters and water slides, little kid rides and big kid rides, wave pools and lazy rivers. Endless opportunities for fun for all ages. Including a little private water park (with much shorter lines) for hotel guests only. Make sure you where a good pair of walking shoes because the parks are huge (and connected) and you will be doing a lot of walking if you want to experience it all. There are restrooms, gift shops, food shops, and bars every time you turn around so you never have to walk far for a drink, bite to eat or place to relieve yourself. My favorite part was the wrist band that contained a bar code so I didn’t have to carry my purse or wallet around and risk losing it or having it stolen. The bar code is connected to the card you used to check in and any purchases you make while in the park are charged to that. Your information is also connected to the wristband so no one else can use it if it falls off. They would need to know your last name. Don’t want to spend money in the park? Well you can’t bring outside food and drink in BUT you can pack your own in a cooler and visit the parking lot when it’s time for lunch. However, while the prices inside were more than the outside, as is typical of theme parks, they weren’t THAT much higher. Places like Disney and Six Flags charge outrageous prices. I once paid $15 for a soda at Six Flags. I paid $3 for a 20 oz bottle of soda here. All in all, I feel I very much got my money’s worth and made awesome memories with my family. Anyone else’s review of this place that is negative wanted something for nothing. If you wanted to stay in a luxury hotel then you should have. As for my family? We wanted to play hard and have a place to lay our head at night before we played hard again the next day. Which leads me to the best part - you also get admission to their parks until close the day of your check out. Definitely recommend as an economical and fun getaway that the family will enjoy and remember for a lifetime!

We have been to Mount Olympus about three years ago and had a great experience. So we decided to return. The actual theme park was nice and good value for the money. Unfortunately this year the hotel accommodations were poor. When we got to bed at 11 pm the sheets had sand near the feet. We tried to call the front desk and got a busy signal. The shower and sink drain were partially clogged and the bathroom floor felt gritty. The room had an overall damp feel and the bedding felt like it was damp like it did not get fully dried in the dryer. However the only way to get assistance or make a complaint was on the other side of town and the phone number was constantly busy. We went in the next morning and they said if you would have called last night we could have cared for you. We will give you 20 compensation to purchase food at the parks and fix it tonight. The maintenance men came and fixed the drains. We spoke to the cleaning lady and they said they would take care of it at 11:00 am. We stop back at the room at 5::00 pm and the beds and towels are all the same, no one cleaned. I am able to call the office across town at this point and they say, “did you ask for it to be cleaned”. Really! Anyway, we finally got it cleaned. I will not stay here again.

Tiffany Herrin

I loved the hotel we were in i loved the parks everything was wonderful. IDK why they have bad reviews we had an excellent time all around. I give it a 5

Tyler Watts

This is our second time staying here and it was just as awesome as the first. Rooms were cleaned and if we needed something we were helped right away by the staff. I was nervous that check in was moved from the hotel but the hotel still was nice without a check in desk on site.

Schnitzel Buns

This is a VERY EXPENSIVE WATER PARK! Over the years we have been there, and seen too many changes, and NOT FOR THE GOOD! You can buy your tickets online for a better price.... only to get nailed with a 20.00 parking fee! Parking is far away! You need to put your stuff in a locker. They purposely make them very tiny! They nail you with 20.00 a tiny locker and ask you if you want to rent another for the fact they are tiny.... Not to mention you have to return the key at 6:30 or they will shut the rooms to the lockers! Thus, making you rush back to the lockers far away in order to retrieve your belongings, only to miss out on several rides in the process! Barely any of the staff speaks ENGLISH, but they do know how to take your credit card. No carry-ins for their experience park. Gotta buy everything there at extremely expensive prices. When it was first new, you were welcome to stay past 7pm to ride the rollercoasters and do other fun things. Now, it's only the unhappy resort visitors who are welcome to stay all day. Come on! As the most expensive theme park in the Dells, they just keep making it worse! The indoor waterpark caters to the people staying at their dates resorts. Only those guests get complimentary towels. What a joke. Really downhill. Not going to be FORCED to waste our money there again. Yes, the other negative testimonials are true. They focus a lot on the bad resorts/ dirty motels, but were here telling you about the theme park. Thanks for reading. Hope you really consider your several other visitor options.

Gerard Gardner

Great theme park terrific waterpark and a great stay at their campsite cabin. Got a great cozy cabin queen bed with bunk bed nice size refrigerator with little freezer, fire pit and the great community. it was only around the block to the Park main entrance less then half a mile away. Everybody nice and courteous very clean 5 stars all around. Free pizza, hot dogs and soda (two items only per person) from 7 to 10 line gets an hour long but it's a real nice thank for the hotel guests. Be coming back next summer.

Sydni Powell

The theme park was fun but, my vacation soon turned to a nightmare. I brought headphones that I thought would be safe in the room while we went and explored. I soon found out that was wrong because housekeeping stole my headphones right from my room. I had hidden the headphone under my suitcase and when I got back they were missing. I really thought that this vacation would be relaxing and I defiantly didn't think that housekeeping would be thieves.

Josh Fisher

We went to the waterpark early season for a day which was enough to take it all in. The kids from 2 to 15 had a blast. Something for everyone. Parking is $20 which was a surprise and hidden cost.

Theresa Iacullo

Beware! Not all ride operators pay attention. Search for injuries at Mt Olympus before you book; there have been some doozies including TBIs. No ADA accommodations. Ice cold water in pools outside. Always check for tickets online - $5 online vs. $35 at the gate. $20 for parking. Closes early unless you stay as a guest. Relatively clean rooms and park. Bring a cooler of water and leave in your trunk; otherwise it’s around $4 for a bottle of water. The Poseidon wavepool is a BEAST - massive waves. Food is pretty good quality (the ribs were surprisingly delish) but pricey. The coasters are rough but fun; the go carts are slow and watch out for other drivers; lots of crashes.

Tianna Lindsey

Requests were very slow. Asked at 8pm for pillows and were told they would be right up... call them back an hour later, then they say they have to go to a different hotel for the pillows and they would be back shortly due to maximum capacity... another hour passes, and we actually go down there and ask what's going on and they say once again the pillows are almost here. Then we got a call after that saying that they had to go to a different hotel and that the housekeeper just got in, but two times before that they already had the pillows? Took 4 hours to get pillows, got our pillows around midnight. The fridge also didn't work and wasn't cold at all. Very disappointed.

If I could have rated a 0, I would have. The room was awful. It was literally a room with beds and a desk. In the Dells that should suffice, but it honestly did not look like the picture online. The TV was an old box TV, the floors were chipped in spots, our drapes did not close all the way, the beds were super hard and uncomfortable, there was a gap under the door, and the room had a musty smell. Aside from our disappointment in the amenities, we did not feel safe there. We heard a lot of talking and noise throughout the night. At one point we went to the car to get some of our luggage and when we walked out there was a strong odor of weed. Just not something you want your family exposed to during a family vacation. We were more exhausted than rested from our first night there. I would say this was more of a $60/night room, not a $200+/night room. Considering what we paid, I expected a room more updated. I was also disappointed that we were not within walking distance of the resort amenities. We ultimately ate the cost of the room and switched hotels. I feel Mt. Olympus is just too big and they cannot invest appropriately in their rooms.

Pedro Quesada

The hotel, water park, and theme park are amazing. My issue is with the lifeguards on duty by the Achilles gift shop. I believe it's called the great pool of delphi. I was here from 11am to 12pm 7/10/2019. All I saw during this time was two lifeguards bothering parents watching their children. If they weren't bothering the responsible parents they were checking out the mother's of these children and completely ignoring the unsupervised children. I refuse to let the actions of two lifeguards ruin our family vacation.

jean kacher

After reading the reviews I almost canceled .We stayed in building 10. It was clean and the room was huge! I had 3 teenage boys so it was perfect. It's was about a 5 minute walk to the water park but I enjoyed the walk. I brought my own coffee maker after reading reviews. I really have nothing to complain about. I will stay there again.

Kelly Goetsch

My best friend and I take an annual overnight trip to the Dells with our 4 kids (8,7,5 &5). After reading some reviews, we switched out room to make sure we were at Hotel Rome. The room was fine, clean, but no toiletries (even soap!), but we snagged some from a housekeeping box outside our room. Water parks were great, with lots of chairs/lounges, and the slides/pools etc, not as nice as Noah's Ark. The giant wave pool was our favorite, and there is nothing like it at Noah's Ark. The theme park was an added bonus, but the littlest one couldn't go on many of the rides until we found the little kids section. Overall, it is not as bad as the 1* reviews and a great value.

Lani S

If I could rate this a 0 I would. Absolutely the most unsanitary room I have ever seen and the most unfriendly people working there, every single one of them! The room had hair everywhere, there was pee on the toilet ring, the beds were dirty, the room smelled and worst of all the staff didn't care when you complained. The pictures and the actual room was not the same, those pictures must be from when they first built the hotel. We had to book another hotel as we were so disgusted staying there with our kids, it was literally the worst hotel we have ever stayed in- the WORST! And the staff was just so darn rude. Any time you asked for help, they just seemed so annoyed. There were just to many disappointments to name all. I honestly don't even know how this hotel is still running. Maybe that's their trick as they get you to come there with their website and pictures of nice rooms and then refuse to refund you as you are outside the cancellation period, even though the promised expectations were not met. I would recommend booking anywhere but here. WORST PLACE EVER!

Bruce Z

This resort advertises as all-inclusive and that clearly is not the case. In addition, they also advertise that their parks passes come free with the stay on their property, while in fact, they add on "resort fees" to all of their reservations of a minimum of $30.95 per night (which could increase depending upon the season). Their hotels (rooms) are dated, and their customer service is lack luster and difficult to deal with Food is mediocre and expensive, while minimal "free offerings" are often difficult to obtain (long line's) and although free food is advertised year round, it's actually only during the summer season. FALSE ADVERTISING! My personal recommendation is that you avoid staying in Mt Olympus properties and pay for a daily ticket and parking. You can find several other more suitable places to stay, which are for more comfortable, with staff who actually will give you the time of day. Enjoy your stay in the Wisconsin Dell's. Edit: 05/22/2019 After returning this past weekend from another attempt of enjoyment at MTO, my opinion remains the same, if not worse. The park was not even at 10% it's usual capacity, and the "life guards" (who mostly are from another country) didn't seem to care about what was happening with its multitude of 3rd class patrons and their actions. They (the guards) were not following/upholding various printed rules of the water park. I wonder if good ole' Justin from MTO is going to contact me!?! If he does, I'll promise an ear full.

Elaine Paupanekis

I will never stay here again! The beds were so uncomfortable! Totally sleeplessness nights and it ruined our vacation! I DO NOT recommend this place at all! Waste of $ completely

Audryahna Vanderheyden

Never go to mt olympus We had booked a room almost 3 months ago and when we got here we were placed in a room that was nothing like the room we booked. We were then transferred to a different room again not the room we booked and this room had wires hanging out of the fridge exposed wires elsewhere and wires were broken a serious hazard and they did nothing about it all they cared about was that their stuff worked they were not concerned about the hazard or our safety. We will never be going there again and I hope others stop going there as well. Please share so maybe they will change something Horrible experience do not recommend ever Mt olympus is terrible

CJ Castro

This was a terrible experience. We had called to add on two people to our reservation and had asked to confirm it was in Hotel Rome. We are told that it was and only after we drove 3 hours to get to Mt. Olympus were we told that our reservation was for the resort not Hotel Rome. Speaking with staff and customer service was no help in this situation and they couldn’t even accommodate for their employee giving us the wrong information. This is a terrible resort. I would recommend spending your money elsewhere.

Valerie Gibson

We stayed for 5 nights. The water park was nice. The theme park was good. Food was over priced with no discounts for hotel guest. We did get a nice room that was a good distance from the resort. Parking is free with the hotel stay. The room was clean, but definitely dated. Driving down the main road we were very relieved with the hotel we got as the others appeared much more run down. There are no coffee pots in the rooms. There is no continental breakfast or reception desk. We saw house keeping one time, and I exchanged our own towels and took our trash out. We were basically on our own at the hotel. The water park was clean. The staff was friendly. We never had to struggle to find chairs even on the weekend. Overall it was just an average stay. Nothing real spectacular, but nothing horrible.

The picture they show when renting looks like a newer hotel room..great marketing shot becuase what you get is a 1960s remodeled motel room with a view of a hot tar parking lot.....there isnt even a chair to sit on in the room..and the air conditioner is set on a timer...want to walk to the pool? It's about a mile...pay the extra money and go to wilderness...your family memories will be far better and worth it unless you like driving and walking for your fun...

Was given a different room than what I reserved!!! Reserved a room with 3 queen beds 2 of the beds in one room and the other was supposed to be in a different room. What I got instead was 3 queen beds ALL in the same room!!! Not okay!!! Called the customer service number and they said they DID make a mistake but had no more of those rooms available!!! Don’t think I’ll be booking at the Dells again!!!!! Rooms were outdated more like a motel!! No thank you!!!

We stayed for three nights at building 39 and never had our beds made, trash emptied, or towels refreshed. Our do not disturb sign was never on the door so it is not as if we were restricting their efforts. When we gave in and went to the front desk to ask for clean towels and to have our trash taken care of we came back later to find clean towels on the bed(still not made), but our trash cans were still full and they had left the dirty towels. Note that the trash cans and dirty towels were placed just inside the door for their convenience. Overall very disappointing, will not being staying in this hotel again.

Checked in to on on side of town. Then we were sent to the for side of town in building 25. If you did not know Mt. Olympus buys distressed and old hotels and motels, slaps their name on a sign out front and calls it the villages. We got to our room and found that it was filthy. Hair all over in the bathroom and what I think to be rat waste. No body is on site to take care of it so it took them quite some time to get someone there to clean it. We left for dinner. When we came back we found that the back entry was open and did not latch. Major security hazard. When we got back to our room someone was cleaning it. They told us ten more minutes. About forty minutes later, he finally let us back in. Almost 11:00 at night. Kids were wrecked at this point. Alarm clock went off all night long even though it was not turned on. Place was filthy and gross. Best they would do fro us was allow us out of our second night. Someone should really have the health department check this place out. My suggestion, avoid the “awesome deal”. It is not. They promised free food... if you dont mind waiting two hours for a hot dog. Go to Noah’s Ark. stay somewhere clean. Avoid the staff infection

My family and I stayed there this past week, Aug 7-10. I was very disappointed that we were put in a motel, with a 1990 Magnavox television, and poor lighting. The bedding was a raggedy old blanket and sheet. The bathroom only had a standing shower, no tub, and there was no caulk around the floor/shower. It was horrible. The website was very misleading, because we thought we would be at a resort, and would have the accommodations that were listed. My family was very disappointed with our stay. We would have much rather been closer to the waterpark and theme park, and we would have liked to been in a different location that actually looked like we were staying at a resort.

This is the absolute worst hotel you can waste your money at. We stayed in Hotel Rome, after upgrading from their motels located around the main strip. However, we could have saved the extra 100 bucks, because Hotel Rome is just a motel with a fancier wallpaper. Is it completely outdated, and you are better off sleeping on the floor. (The beds are trash). There is NO front desk on site, barely any staff, and no one to help in the hotel. We booked in early september, when the weather was still 75+, and were not informed that more than half the resort was closed. There was ONE roller coaster open, and no outdoor water attractions. There was absolutely no indication of this on the website. The indoor water park was most definitely above capacity, as you couldn't even get into the lazy river without waiting in a long line. Walking through the indoor water park was migraine worthy, and dangerous as you couldn't move without pushing anyone. The hot tub has a 10 minute time limit, and is also body to body. The indoor themepark must be some sort of joke, it is a bunch of old arcade games that you have to pay for with tokens. Why would the entire theme park be closed as well, if the park was starting to close seasonally? You should not be able to have the park open and charge full price, if YOUR PARK ISNT EVEN OPEN. This wouldn't be so irritating if it had been communicated with us that the resort was closing down for the season. There were black balls of hair all over our hotel room, dirty rings of filth in the toilet, and the smoke alarm batteries were dead for our entire stay, causing a loud beeping noise that completely destroyed any chance of sleep. Our entire vacation made us more tired and stressed than we had been prior to going on vacation. It is sad that this is what the resort is turning into-it should be a nice place to bring your family for a getaway. Not a money pit run by people who clearly do not care about their customers. I do not recommend this hotel.

this was our first time staying at Mt. Olympus during the summer(we have had day passes during the summer about once a year). We booked the cabins hoping to have a different experience than the normal hotel. The sink in the room appeared very dirty and the chain lock was broken. We had to barricade the door with our cooler to keep the door secure. The park itself seems to be really going downhill. Many areas were closed or not operating. The indoor theme park had literally 3 rides total and none were open. We witnessed a patio umbrella hit a bunch of children on the kiddy airplane ride. The ride attendant did not stop the ride or have any concern for the children’s safety. Parents had to get the umbrella off of the children and the staff members in the area appeared to care less. The outdoor water park was closed an hour early on a sunny and 72 degree day. All signs and paper schedule stated 6 pm but all outdoor water park areas were closed by 5 for no reason. I will be spending my money at the better hotels like Kalahari, wilderness, great wolf, and child vista. I would even look into a separate hotel that offers tickets to Noah’s ark or other attractions.

We adopted four children and drove to Mount Olympus from Connecticut to show them the place we loved to go with our other children. We were bitterly disappointed. We were across the street in a hotel room on the 3rd floor, no working air conditioning on a 90 degree day, the phone was broken, the lights burnt out, no toilet paper, we moved the bed and the floor was filthy with toenails, dirty water bottles, dirty kleenex, dirty q-tips, and empty cans. The refrigerator was stinky and the hairdryer was broken. It took hours to get a maintenance man to come. My children ate the free pizza (after waiting in line 1.5 hours). They later got diarrhea and vomited the pizza. One of the roller coasters, one of the go-cart tracks, and two water slides were closed down. We were outraged but when we called to speak to someone they told us there was nothing they could do.

Just stood at the Mt. Olympus Resort. Picture of Room was not the same room I stood in. Unless you stay in Mt. Olympus ROME, you will be in a motel. Mt. Olympus has several buildings located all over the dells, luckily we were located in walking distance across from the parks. Stains on carpets, nothing updated about it. Bring your own pillow. Ride operators are almost all over seas work program srudents working for the summer. We went to the theme park from 7-9 and no bag check, no security. Anyone could have walked in with a weapon. Majority of the workers are not safety trained. They love their phones. Last time for my family.

Travis George

I've been coming here since the 1980's, My Olympus just privatized the main part of thier water park, the upper area that has been there since it was Family land. The area with majority of the water slides and the wave pool. Now that area is only for the guest who stay in these run down hotels. If you come now, you will still get to enjoy the tidal wave pool and 3 adult water slides. There is a kid area that looks nice. While I do give credit to MT Olympus for the versatility of the theme /water park. If I had stock in this company......I would sell. Look out Noah's Ark, your about to get busier. If the price is cheap enough it may be worth your time. If you want quantity of slides you may want to try Noah's Ark. Sorry Mt Olympus, you lost me with this move.

LeRoy Hada

We love the water park and rides! But the whole free food thing what a scam!! You have to stand in line for hours to get it! Definitely not worth the wait! Beds are hard as ever very uncomfortable.

Gris O.

Worst place to stay ever. It is a motel and the room is dirty. There is a creepy room inside our room that's locked but under that door connected to our room there is a big gap which someone could look into our room through. The tub was super dirty and cockroaches walking around. We opened the water to wash our hands in the sink and the water comes out oily. Seriously gross, it looked like I just poured a bottle of cooking oil in the sink. We tried calling the front desk and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. The waterpark is fun but never stay at their so called resort. Worst experience ever. Kalahari, Great Wolf lodge or Wilderness Resort are the best.

Ashley Mumm

they have buildings all over. We were at building 13. When we walked in and closed the door you could see a gap under the door where bugs can crawl in! The tv was so outdated the color is going out of it! NO COFFEE POT! Which is a must for me and my husband! The toilet kept running, my husband had to fix that. When I went to take a shower, well it was half a shower half a bath. Completely outdated!! We totally got mislead! Never staying there again!

Dane Krolikowski

The rides here are fun, but the prices for parking are insane. The walk from the parking lot to the first attraction is long, and if you would like to ride anything else, have fun walking far. If you want to walk from the theme park to the water park, it is about a 10 minute walk. Everything is spaced extremely far from each other.

Yassah Heigis

How do I get my free $100 credit for food and drinks??? Yes I am currently staying at the resort and when my husband and I tried to go and get food there was a sign that said only people with white wristband could get food and since my husband and I had the green once we weren’t allowed in (my stay was for 5 nights). Please someone let me know what’s going on thank you.

FA Coursework

Pop answered to all questions correctly and she is really helpful supervisor. I had an issue with check in and then directions and she was so clear in resolving my situation! Thank you for such a great customer service!

Matthew Maloney

Great Experience. Fast check in, lovely rooms awesome park and very fast lines. Mt. Olympus is a great family friendly place. Indoor theme park, is only a few arcade games and bumper cars. Mt. OLYMPUS serves free snacks to resort guests only from 7pm to 10pm. Park stays open later for resort guests only. Great location. Please open a Canada Ontario location. Living in Canada is a 9 hour trip to Wisconsin Dells. OPEN CANADA LOCATIONS!

Very disappointed! I know you get what you pay for and our cabin was clean and basic and that was fine. I have no problem with the cabin itself. However the indoor water park one of the lifeguards call 2 visitors fat in front of everyone. I felt so bad for the 2 men. Another man confronted him and told him that was wrong and went to the supervisor. All the poor guys want to do is go in the hot tub and the lifeguard told them they had to wait for more room because they were "too you know" and blow himself up like he was fat. The camp are is party central! Called security 3 times and nothing happened!

Jerry Wade

The theme park was pretty fun, lines weren't crazy and it's all inclusive if you purchase the hotel stay. I also had a coupon on a can for $20 off. Prices are about what you would expect for a theme park but not outrageous. Hotel room was *basic* but clean and functional.

Mike Seeders

Very disappointed. We have stayed here three times over the years and this time was the worst. Rooms are a joke. Beds are cheap bedding and pillows suck. No coffee in the room but you can spend some money to buy one in the lobby at an inflated rate. Food and water are inflated. Food is kind of expected but the water should be reasonable. The added more rides but you have to pay to ride them which I feel is a joke. The building is in need of repair but looks as if the staff could care less. We will never come back to the resort. Park staff and hotel staff were very friendly but that doesn’t help look past all the problems. Most of the other guest we spoke with all said the same thing. It’s gone downhill over the years.

Zuleika Reyes

The only thing I liked was the rides that’s it. When we got to the hotel our room was so full of dust that we had to call housekeeping you can see the dust in the air. We stayed at the Rome hotel building # 1 and we decided to go downstairs to eat omg that was a terrible idea. The food was awful the cheese on the fries where disgusting I went to the lady that was working there I told her that cheese tasted bad and funny she just laughed and said well that’s all we have. Didn’t changed it or cared at all. Sorry but not saying here again.

Vince Haylem

Entering the parking place was very small and wasn't an obvious or lavish entrance. I can't imagine a busy day , because security was a double line and kids checking it. If people wanted they could bring a weapon in. For some people you can easily bring alcohol if you wrap it in a towel. I have the layout of this place, it wants you to zigzag through all the rides which is annoying if you're trying to get to the wave pool. There is no actual pool, just a wave pool with a Max feet of 6. Foods and drinks are pricey but that's expected. Only cool thing was free Go Kart and rides. Highly recommend not wasting your time and money, BUT if it's just kids and adults to hang out, this place isn't too bad. Just don't expect a place to eat or drink or swim, there is no space and no good area. Overal this place is a 2/10. It looks really cool on the outside but extremely sad inside.

BAD STAY false advertising!!! Everyone pays the same price regardless where your "resort room" is. My family got a motel style room not even resort room, 2 queen and bunks bed that was 4 block away. Our room is smaller than what is on the picture. Met another family in the resort where they pay the same price to be across the parking lot from the reosrt park in their hotel. Call the resort and hotel desk and they confirm that they charge everyone the same price regardless of where your room. I even ask how come this was not indicated in the website and suggest that we feel that this was not fair and felt cheated to be paying the same thing as some one who have a closer stay. They stated they cant do anything. Future guest Please be aware and ask for a closer room. EVERYONE PAYS THE SAME!

Nate Productions

Spent 1 hour trying to find our hotel that was actually a few miles away from the main resort. They never told us that. Otherwise theme park and waterpark were fun.one word to describe this place:confusing

Janeen Abdallah

Was so hesitant to stay here because of all the negative reviews. I’’m extremely happy that i still gave it a try & everything was amazing!! I would definitely recommend this to people and am coming back for sure. Don’t let the negative reviews stop you from trying this out!!

Benjamin Pultz

The amusement park indoor water park and private water park included were great no coffee pot for the room the shower head did not have much water pressure. Stayed 3 nights not once was the bed turned down or anything cleaned I had been gone all day every day expectation for price may be less I thought those issues should be taken care of at least waited up 4 hours for maintainence man to check shower never shown up.

jasmine chacon

It’s a great place to go with your family. They should expand more on the indoor water park since it’s packed always. The outdoor section is fine too, it’s what you expect for a family getaway.

Cassi Deuchler

We had a great time.. I was scared to book here because of the reviews. I almost canceled my reservations but gave this place a chance & glad I did. My room was nice, clean, & affordable! Unfortunately people are always so quick to leave bad reviews but I’d definitely go back. It’s definitely not a high class resort but if that’s what your looking for pay the money for one, i seen ppl complaining about no coffee maker in the room, with the money you save you can go to the star bucks down the st. If your looking for fun affordable vacation definitely book here.

Lisa Rauch

Tub was dirty table sticky and dirty floor dirty bed pee stain on it TV kept freezing up was told that it had a pool and hot tub when I called to schedule for 2 nights was in building 25 and neither pool or hot tub...honestly would never stay here again and the main hotel with the water park and indoor pool and hot tub was the only OK building but can't even get into the hot tub because there's a line for it....friend stayed at the bigger main building and had a better cleaner bigger room than my 2 queen bed one probably the reason it was better than mine. Not even a coffer maker in the room like every hotel I've ever been to has and for the money you'd think it would.

Ty and karen Chandler

So I have been going to the dells my entire life! I actually use to live there and near by. Recently me and my family and some co workers went just for the day. I'm only putting this review so maybe they would be willing to do something about how u go in and out of this park like what is with that hill???? My co worker had a really hard time walking up that hill actually I had to have him walk all the back to the indoor waterpark and pick him up there.. people that have a hard time walking or knee problems etc do u not think of that???? That is ridiculous just saying!!

Emily K. Kelps

We stayed the weekend of sept 28. Upon check in, we were upcharged to stay in the building near the water park and were told that we should have read the fine print. When we paid for the upcharge to be in the closer building, the attendant said she had no idea where we should go “just figure it out”. Terrible service all around. We went to the indoor water park to find a dark dirty, and cold room with 2 slides, a pool, a small lazy river, and a kids area. Our kindergartener was only big enough for the kid zone. At some points of the hour we were there, there were no life guards watching the kid section. The one who was around didn’t stop these two young boys from pushing little kids down concrete stairs that were in the kid zone. At the end of our hour visit, a little boy was puking in the pool. No life guard or anyone who would there was around. I found a lifeguard from another pool to help the mother with this situation. The lifeguard looked at me like I was crazy for being concerned for this parent and child. They didn’t close the pool at all over vomit floating in the water. Or clean it up. I saw the lifeguard throw a towel over the mess that landed on the edge of the pool... and walk away to check the pool. It was quite a bit. I feel terrible for that poor little kid... but I’m disgusted over the lack of proper care for a pool and HORRIBLE lifeguards. It’s interesting that none of the lifeguards were in the water or touching the water. What a waste... we will never return.

This place definitely deserves 5 stars! I’ve been stationed here for the past 5 years and I’ve always had the best experience! I just went recently and had the best time of my life! I wish I could stay there the whole summer! When I’m here I feel so happy and free and I always feel like I can be myself and feel infinite! The environment is so amazing and it’s such an amazing and fun filled place! Mt Olympus is definitely one of my favorite places in the dells and I definitely look forward to going there again next summer and making more memories with my family! If you have not been here you should definitely try it out! You’ll have a great time!

Sherry Joyner

For the price, we expected much less. Stayed two nights and enjoyed all of the offerings of the indoor and outdoor parks. The kids (8 and 4) had a blast, but honestly the 4 adults had just as much fun! This isn't a 5 star hotel experience, we went into the trip knowing this. But again, was a lot more than we expected and we will be back!

Michelle G

This hotel gets 5 stars for price. The room was nice my kids loved the bunk beds only problem was that there was on 10 channels no kids channels or CNN so 4 stars. The Waterpark was very nice just that the outdoor Waterpark closed at 6 pm in JULY!!! So only 4 stars. Parking was horrible I had to walk so far just to get into the park,1star. The indoor Waterpark was not great it was very small 3 stars. I loved the large wave pool but I doubt I’d come back again. The walking just to get to the park nearly killed me. I have a bad knee.

My family of 7 spent $230 on the Mt Olympus Resort package, including "Night at the Park." Comparing our expenses with our experience, overall I would recommend it, and do it again! The best service was provided by an employee names Akili. When we checked in she upgraded our room upon request at no extra charge! She also was kind and very knowledgeable, answering all of our questions. However, I'd like to let others know some things I found frustrating: -I called the day before we left to ask some questions. I was told the rides had no weight limits. BOGUS! (Most rides have a 300lbs max.) I was also told it would be $10 to rent a locker, and would receive $5 back when the key was returned. Also WRONG, there was no money back! -The "Night at the Park" with free soda and food had a very LONG, very HOT/MUGGY line. My family stood in line for 35 minutes before our turn. However, a couple of us went back at 9:30pm for seconds and the line was very short! My suggestion is to play and then eat later! -A member of my family is 350+lbs. When in line for a rollercoaster we were concerned that the family member would not fit into a seat. I squeezed through everyone in line to the top to ask the employee if there were seats for bigger people to ride. She informed me that there were! ...And when it came time to get on the family member would NOT FIT. A total embarrassment for them!!! Made us all very upset!!! -I received a text informing us that our hotel room was ready and instructions to get to our room. These instructions were WRONG! I had to call the help line posted on the main door because there was NO FRONT DESK. Also, 1/2 of the hotels access doors needed to be swiped with our hotel key to unlock, the other 1/2 (including ours!) were UNLOCKED! Meaning anyone off the street could enter! -All the employees we encountered, their first language was NOT English. I think this is was the biggest reason we were misinformed of things. At one point I shook my belly with my hands before an employee understood I was asking what the weight limit for the ride was! Like I said, overall we had a good time. I would consider going again, especially since we have an idea of what to expect!

Triston Johnson

We had a very nice big room, easy check in. The Hades coaster was incredible, coasters all are fun and fast. They could put more fun rides in the spaces of the painfully slow Go-Kart tracks, very unfun for me and the kids. Love Hades

Joey Collins

Contrary to my review of the room/housing nonsense, the park itself is pretty nice. I found the staff there to all be quite friendly and helpful. Decent variety of things to do, and kept our 3 year old entertained. Ample chairs all around to sit on and leave your stuff. Not too keen on the systematic shuffling of people out of the park (close one portion at 6, then the whole thing at 7) but it is what it is. The indoor park is small and gets really crowded when the closings start happening. The indoor theme park, is not a theme park, it is a large barn sized building with arcade games and two kiddie rides, with a bulk of the space being taken up by the queue and tables for their free pizza and soda.

Mai Vang

Upon check in we were given rooms at the very far end of the resort. The resort has 25 buildings. The building was outdated, hot, and had a horrible smell. When we got to our room it was dirty, the bathroom wasn't cleaned, there was hair, cereal and a hair tie in the bathroom from who knows how many guests previously. The floors were covered in dirt. When I called the front desk the lady who answered said she'd send someone up to clean the bathroom and floors. We left the room for 2 hours and walked the strip. Came back to the same mess just the hair tie was missing. The same cheerio was in the same spot and hair still all over the bathroom floor and dirt still on the floor. Needless to say paying and arm and a leg to spend 1 night to experience other people's filth is not acceptable one bit. My family will not be staying at Mt. Olympus in the future. I will be discouraging all friends and family to do the same. I am not one to complain but this really got to me especially after I called the front desk. The resort doesn't deserve 1 star but I had to give them a star to write this review. Front desk was no help whatsoever. Horrible service!!!

Albert Vigil

I have been to the dells many times first time staying here and will definitely be my last. And there customer service manager Justin reached out to me saying he wanted to make it right but never did anything. He just wanted to sound helpful his response. There are better hotels there that take of there guests because they want them to come back for years to come. Mount Olympus two thumbs way down. Kalahari is a much better resort next time I go I will be trying out the great wolf lodge.

Monicca Winters

The theme park is great. It is affordable and super fun. I'm not familiar with the hotel rooms, but the theme park is certainly worth the trip. Huge wave pool, lots of roller coasters, go carts, and kiddie rides.

Samantha Lindahl

Park is huge and nice, but the complementary dinner was a joke and extremely embarrassing! Stayed in building 17D and it was the worst motel I have ever stayed in... basically just missing the roaches! Couldn’t close the bathroom door from the warped frame, the carpet was so dirty the kids feet turned black 5 minutes after going in, they don’t replace towels or soaps, beds are hard and make loud popping noises when you roll over, and the pool closed early everyday we were there. Way overpriced for the room your better off staying somewhere else and just buying wristbands!

The Crow's Nest

We Checked in just to instantly call The Hilton to book there instead. I'd rather eat the $600 dollars rather than stay here. False advertising all the way. This isn't a resort, this is a motel 6 lacking all the basic things you'd expect in a hotel. At the very least, dry linens and a non moldy smelling room would have been nice. Check in is located miles from park, then you have to drive to 1 of 10 different locations, off site of the parks. Just pulling up to our confusing location was enough to have my heart sink. Once in the room and sat on bed to have a spring dig into my butt. The blankets were still damp. Not willing to see where else this leads. At the Hilton now and excited to get some good sleep in a nice bed! Mt. Olympus hotels should get a 0 star.

Mirna shaba

The room and the bathroom had a bad smell full of bugs. Very old need to be remodeled or at least get some new towels. We couldn’t reach any of the hotel Services due to the fake phone that they had in the room. But the water park was great. Had a great time except the hotel!!

Brandon Baehman

Went to the park on a Monday, over the weekend social media staff claimed the tickets were $35 but when we get there we find out they're $40+. Social media staff also would take a lot of prompting to give answers to our questions. We then get there and find that in the last couple of years they've now cutoff 1/4 of the outdoor water park to the public. You can only access this area of you stay in the hotel. All in all it would've been mucher cheaper and more. Fun to go to Noah's Ark or maybe one of the other WI Dells Waterparks. Edit: When I called them out on their shenanigans on Facebook they deleted all my posts and blocked me. So shady.

Barbara Flournoy

Not so crowded with the end of the school year. Food was ok for being free. Ultimately my son had a great time he's only 5. Rooms where clean and plenty of towels. Great experience

Hass Al

I was almost to cancel our trip because of negative reviews but I am glad I decided to go and gave a try. We stayed at bulding 29 it was clean, its standard room I didn't care because we just come to the room to sleep. The walking distance was less than 3 minutes. The rides and water park was fabulous the kids love it specially the wave definitely I will come back to Mt.Olympus .

Kaylee D'amato

We were in building 3, Worst experience ever we had no hot water, we called and they sent a guy to our room, he checked it came back an hour later to ask if it’s working.. it wasn’t so he said to just wait a little and it will, It never did so we couldn’t even take a shower and it was really late we just wanted to go to sleep. the bed was up against the wall with a painted on headboard... there was dead bugs all over the room. No carpet. You can tell the rooms are not taken care of, it was dusty my nose would not stop running from my allergies, the floors are sticky with hair and crumbs, this was literally a waste of my money, i didn’t even want to be there I didn’t feel comfortable in that room. The staff At the water park are extremely rude, I tried to order a Churro, she said there not available I asked when they will be she said “i don’t know” “i’m not going to give you a time cause then your going to cuse me out if it’s wrong”... Like um ok?

Joe Akers

Stayed 3 nights. No house keeping, must call to request (found out on last night when I called to complain). Lock mechanism busted off from exterior door. Arrived to room tonight, and the whole floor reeks like pot, including our room. That's great with little kids.. Called customer service, and they wouldnt put a manager on the phone. I got a couple apologies, and the potential of fresh towels. Will not be staying here again. Thanks for the quality stay Mt. Olympus...

Joseph Streitz

Didn't know we were 2 miles away. No coffee maker and the only place I've been where there's no breakfast. The park closes whenever they feel like closing. On Thursday they decided to close at 5 even though the website says 6. Plus as a guess we are supposed to have an extra 3 hours in the park.

Eric Allen

Arrived to find out we weren't booked in to where we thought. The park has rust all over some of the slides as well as throughout the indoor park. Fountains on the indoor park were no longer working. Was forced to take off aqua Sox in order to use slides. Nails or bolts were seen lose or standing out of boards on one of the coasters. I would not recommend staying or using this place should be condemned or needs severe maintenance

Sasha Mone

I've Seen so many complaints and I figured people are just miserable. My family and I had an AMAZING time. Over exceeded my expectations as far as the indoor/outdoor water park is concerned. The Amusement park was amazing, we Honestly had a blast. A couple cons is that the food is slightly overpriced, and the beds were a little lumpy. And pretty much everyone there as far as staff is foreign, but they are nice and do the best they can to help. But our room was clean and We will definitely be back!

Teresa Neville

When booking a standard 2 queen room, it said nothing about being a few freaking miles from the damn resort!!! With no shuttle to and from!! They charge a resort fee and you’re not even on the resort? That’s not even ok in the slightest! No resort-like accommodations or amenities. The fitted sheet was inside out and kept coming off. Bed was noisy, toilet sounded like an air compressor and wouldn’t flush every time, no coffee maker, and bath towels were the size of the ones you normally put on the floor outside the shower at any normal hotel. Definitely will not stay here again or recommend others to stay in it at all.

Free food — seriously

Didn’t realize we had to walk basically 5 miles to get to resort “oh you can park at the water park but still have to walk a long ways to get in!” You have to call and ask for your room to be cleaned with more clean towels when you are spending about $1400 for 5 nights! And you have to watch the lifeguard staff because sometimes they let your kid down the slide then they don’t!! Very disappointed in the staff! I went and asked the lifeguard what the problem was because our kid had been going down the slide all day and then all of a sudden couldn’t and he tells me I have to check with my supervisor (rudely) at the same time rudely yelling at the little girl to get out when she was way smaller than my kid and they just let her go down but my kid couldn’t!! Being a little professional would go along way when you spend this kind of money to stay at a water park! Also forget the FREE soda hot dog and pizza at night for “ HOTEL GUESTS “ unless you want to stand in a LONG line with cranky tired kids!! What a joke!! Very disappointed when you drive a long time for a family Vacation!! Also want to add water park is to close at 7 PM and we are walking out at 6 and everything is closed at 6 PM??!!!

The wave pool gets five stars! Go-karts and coasters are awesome too! I'm taking away one star, for the cost of the food and drinks.

I want to give this 5 stars, because I've been going to Mt. Olympus at least once a year since I was a kid. However, I am not impressed that the upper of the water park is now blocked off for resort-guests only. Two stars for nostalgia, but I'll be going to Noah's Ark from now on.

Pulling up to the hotel they had us staying in looked like a $25 a night motel. The actual room had been updated and was decent until we sat on the beds, which was, what I can only describe was like sitting down onto tissue paper with popping springs. The mattresses were beyond awful to say the least. The entire night was spent tossing, turning, and feeling the springs pop and poke us throughout the night. The water park was also lack luster. My family and I have been going to Noah’s Ark for over 20 years and since free tickets were included we tried their park for free, never ever again. The indoor water park was so jammed full of people you could barely move and the one outdoor family slide we went on just felt plain dangerous. We spent the majority of the time in their wave pool which was pretty exciting, pry the best thing I can say about the place other than the friendly staff. We did not go on any of the roller coasters while we were there. We will defiantly not be staying again, there are much better hotels for the same price and Noah’s Ark is still the best water park, period.

When they say you need to pay a "deposit", you're actually paying a down payment for your room. I had to pay around $70 for a deposit thinking I would get it back, but after calling them they told me that it's actually just part of the room fee. Their emails are cryptic and their website is unhelpful in providing any of this information. After reading many other reviews here, I must agree that the way they do business is pretty shady. It's great that the Dells offers many other great resorts since my family and I will never return here again.

We checked online and the prices would fluctuate from one day to another. We knew we wanted to stay in the Rome hotel which appeared to be about 2x the rate of their regular rooms. The Rome hotel is right next for the water park and theme park. The online prices ranged from $137-$202 for a simple room with 2 queen beds. When my husband called, he was quoted over $400/ night for the same room. I booked online at $137/night. When my husband called to make sure we were in the Rome hotel and to inform them we’d be arriving after midnight, they confirmed everything was correct. (I took screen shots of my booking process in case we had any problems.) our total price for 2 nights was about $375 after fees and taxes which was less than cost of one night when he called to make reservations. We stayed in the Rome hotel and while we were concerned about online reviews, we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel room was clean and served our needs. The beds were firm but comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. The water park and theme park areas were great! My girls’ only complaint was that the go carts weren’t fast enough. The Hades roller coaster was their favorite and the tide pool was huge! May be too much for little ones! The free food lines were excessively long so we opted to buy food instead. Little pricey for what we had, but not terrible. This not a 5 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination, but we enjoyed our stay. Overall, we had a great time!

We just spent the last 3 days here. GREAT experience. We all had a awesome time. Very clean park. All employees were wonderful. Answered Cleanestany and all questions. Very helpful. We stayed at the cabins. Very very relaxing and nice. For it being a campground it had the cleanest restrooms / showers ever. Would definitely be interested in coming back. My entire family had the best time. Well worth it. Thank you Mt. Olympus!!

It's sad to see what happens when bad management takes over. Years ago you were treated much better. Inside water park should be closed for cleaning. Will submit heath code violations. Air quality test. Mold growing viewable from top of slide. Thick dust on all slides. Outside on go kart a child bumped into the back of another pulling in from race. Obviously child just didnt time correctly. The staff member went up to him screaming are you deaf repeatedly at least 5 times inches from face. The overall park is great but mostly management issues of not caring is causing every issue. Room- bathroom was leaking a considerable amount of water from ceiling, I went to front desk but no one spoke good enough English to understand problem. 1 hour later management showed up and said sorry, we will put in a work order but do not know when we can take care of it. The customer was treated like they mattered years ago, and it's sad to see what it is now. Better choices in dells but only thing is rollercoasters are the plus they have.
