This Park corresponds to the category of Amusement park.
Went here with the fam and it was a little pricey. The best attraction was the mirror house where the mirrors are dirty and can easily find the way out. I don’t know this places is pretty fun for the kids. 4/5 it’s alright.
The last year has totally transformed the park into a nostalgic wonderland. Love the memories and the vibes. Fun for the family
Loved the environment, great place to take the family. Will be going back.
A classic. It gets better every year as they add on new items. Love all the updates. Still love the roller coaster.
I highly recommend it to all especially those nostalgic for a Midwestern version of Atlantic city
Enjoyed walking around my childhood memory!
Our granddaughter's 1st time and she is 8 ...she Absolutely loved it her favorite was the roller coaster
Great place for family fun. Amusement park is getting to be pricey! 2 yr olds cost same as adults!
It's a great place lots of fun. Plenty of things to do also great people all around great fireworks show and concert
What an awesome place. Great rides, grear atmosphere and friendly staff.
A very good place to have family fun and excellent service
I have always loved this place, if you go here you are almost guaranteed to have a good time, it may not be huge, but the lines are short and the experience is memorable.
I look forward to our yearly okoboji trip every year. Absolutely love this place
Rip off! Bought the wrist band for the 6 rides and 2 weren't even running! The only ones worth a dime and they didn't even tell us when we bought the bracelets. So we rode one ride and then decided it was a waste of time to stay another minute and they wouldn't refund our bracelet. Basically this place is nothing like it used to be.. it's just a rip off carnival with Six flags prices! The food diner makes great food though. I can't argue with that.
Lots of fun for 4 kids 4 and under... Just expensive!
The park has had some improvements this last year. A new carousel invites you into the park with new cement and stone work at the entrance. Updates to the scrambler and all cement work around it. The rest of the rides remain the same. The building the museum is in has been added on to and the old slide, king of the hill, and barrel were re-located to it. Great improvement to buildings and new bathrooms in park.
Fun things to do and love the beach
A great place to take the family
Fun time but not Six Flags
The admission is free which is the best part, if you wish to ride the rides the prices for park passes are pretty reasonable.
Fun little park. Clean and the prices were not that bad! Definitely stop by if in the area.
Wonderful place to take your children n lots of places to eat n also have a drink! Fun time!
Really fun and fairly reasonably priced considering it's a tourist destination! Free entry to walk around but you will have to pay for the rides. Make sure to bring lots of water. This place is suitable for all ages. The rides look sketchy but are very safe. Watch out for the straps on the bumper cars, completely wrecked my shoulders. Great place for families.
Great family fun!
We come here every summer. There are so many fun things to do. And eat! It's a wonderful time. Plan to walk a lot.
Very cool little old time park. Nice that it's a non profit. It's like a permanent country Fair type level
It's the same park it's always been. Not much has changed about it in 20+ years. There were plenty of rides for our under-4-year-old to rid and plenty for the older children to do. It's worth a trip there every time we're in Boji.
Great family fun. Memories for a life time.
It’s not a bad price and some of the employees were exceptionally nice and made sure you had fun but the majority of them were sitting on their phones while I was waiting in line. I had to wait for them to be done so I could go on. Half the time they didn’t check the seat belts, and some of the rides I feel aren’t safe. I got bruises and scratches from getting rammed into the side. I also hit my head on the sides as well. So I probably wouldn’t go again.
Really fun place to take your family along! What!?! Youve never been to Arnolds Amusement Park!?!
Great location along lake! Annual tradition to ride the old wooden coaster and get a nutty bar
It had been at least 10 years since I visited... it was so much fun going on the rides with my son! I’m so glad we went!
Games were not good...rides were good!!...but very short
Arnold's Park is my favorite place to go for the fourth of July. They have a great amusement park. I ate at the Godfather's pizza and tried out Bonbon yogurt. They always have great concerts and a beautiful fireworks display.
Place is lots of fun. Surrounding areas have decent fishing too. Many worthy souls are here.
We had a great visit here! You even get a relaxing lake view!
Fun, nostalgic old time amusement park. Pay per ride or unlimited wristbands. Great place to stroll through on a summer evening. The shops around the park have great souvenirs at reasonable prices. We make numerous stops during a week at the lake.
Iconic Okoboji lake side park with the Legend, a wooden rollercoaster that is a exciting must ride. Has all the classics, bumper cars, ferris wheel, merry-go-round, with great views of the lake. Prices are Iowa friendly. We love this place!
Inexpensive day pass for kids and grown-ups together. Near end of season, not many people in line. Kids can ride as many time as they want. Some ride controllers might be too rough to small kids though. This can be improved. Most controllers were very good to kids.
Check out the Iowa Rock N Roll Hall of Fame! Great place. The park has an awesome vintage vibe.
Arnold's Park is an Iowa classic, visited by 1000's over the years. Very popular with the young at heart, offering many thrilling rides and attractions. The park has seen many renovations in the past 10 years or so with a focus on nostalgia, returning the park to its past glory including refurbished rides from its past. Certainly a must see attraction!!
One would think for all the money they make they could paint the coaster
My very first taste of an amusement park. My young heart was thrilled at the idea of rollercoasters, bumper cars, mirror maze, and junk food. Arnolds Park has the oldest wooden rollercoaster west of the Mississippi River. Now in modern times they mini golf, go carts, the Iowa Rock and Roll Museum. Along with rides on the Queen 2 and many other things to spend your hard earned money on.
Such a great little park with so much to do. Rides, putt-putt golf, food trucks, shopping, restaurants, bars & lake across the street. We love coming here with our girls just as much as they do & their daddy did when he was little. ❤️
Lots to do, Fun for all ages, Amazing Service
So much fun! Not much waiting in line!
Went on the roller coaster it was fun just too short. I guess you can buy an all day pass for unlimited rides. I just bought one ride. Went on their boat the Queen 2 it was ok just too many waves had a little motion sickness.
So much fun an short lines
Not worth the money, half of the rides should be scrap iron and employees pay more attention to their phones then the rides they run. Spent the extra 10 dollars a person and go to Adventureland. Only took 45 minutes to ride every ride that was working and half of them didnt feel safe.
So much fun and lots of activities packed into a little area. Friendly, caring people in support positions around the park. Worth the trip from the Twin Cities!
Great fun for the whole family
Great place to dance.
Nice place but very expensive. The employees are very nice and make the visit more enjoyable.
Very old fashioned carnival feel.
Old time fashion fun!!
Fun place but needs to be updated with stuff for adults.
Way too over priced. Save your money and go somewhere else less expensive.
Went to concert there...good free music
A wonderful place to take your kids
Lots of fun with entertainment.
Grandkids had a great time riding rides and it was prior to the park opening so rides were free from 5-7. What a great way to show the kids what fun they can have over the summer!!!
Rides are pretty old, and the people working the rides barely speak English and are pretty rude sometimes. Pretty expensive for what you get.
A good clean place to visit.
Great place for the whole family!
It was a great family day but most of the employees sitting there on there phones and the couple employees sleeping. Nl
Historic yet still fun for my kids
Too many people too long of lines but the staff seemed pretty good people
We like going to the park for the free summer concerts mainly. The park itself is kind of overpriced but it's fun and nostalgic. Many will feel they are stepping back in time with some of the rides. The farmers market was more of a vendors market when we went, not exactly what I was looking forward too. But if that's your thing you will probably enjoy. There are some amazing fresh flowers and Nektar has a booth there so that makes it worth a stop for me
Lakeside fun and food stands. Froyo too !
Free to enter the park, and you just pay for some of the rides individually. Very fun! Right next to the lake, so it's quite pretty, but it can get windy, so keep that in mind.
Great fun. Small, delightful amusement park, right on the shore.
10 stars great bands and a great time
Free to walk around and right on the lake. Really pretty.
Wonderful experience. The kids could have played for hour longer even!!
Went to Rock The Roof and it was AWESOME
Michael W Smith in concert at Arnold's Park Green Space was incredible! The music was great, so full of worship. The Arnold's Park staff were very helpful. I was one of the volunteers from Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Lakefield, MN (the church that sponsored the concert) and we are so glad that Arnold's Park was willing to host this incredible concert. The concessions the provided we're great, and the venue wonderful! God be Praised!
So many memories from when I was younger at this amazing park!! My grandkids had so much fun!! Love it!!!!
No better place to spend 4th of July in the USA. A taste of Americana.
A great place for fun.
This place is pretty dope
A great place for your kiddos to come and have fun! Lines are fast moving, so never a long wait. Staff are friendly and good with the kids. Many good memories for my little ones.
Lots of activity, restrooms were a bit hard to locate. Walked through a small car show
Nice small amusement park, with great rides, and entertainment. Their roller coaster is perfectly thrilling. Prices are very high, though. For example, if you don’t have a pass for the day, for 45 seconds of fun on the roller coaster is $8. Food is still expensive as well. Overall nice place to go to though.
Easy to get to close free parking Good time
Expensive for what they have to offer. 2 yr old couldnt go on rides because she was too short
Always a fun day for the kids. As teens, they mostly were on the racetrack all day.
I grew up going to Arnold's park for vacation, brought my children and now grandkids! Just still REALLY upset the dont have camping in city park anymore!!
Best place around.
Fun place for families and lots of cute little shops
Arch Allies put on a great show last night. Thank you to the sponsors.
Great place for kids and adults alike.
Very clean and great staff! The games however were way overpriced, $2-3 per game.
An old but funamusement park with some neat rides. I love that it is located right next to the lake. The employees are always a bit crabby (not all, but most) but overall it is a fun place to spend a few hours and the kids always love it.
So much fun. Such an old school feel.
Great place for family fun!
What a fun place! Real throwback to childhood for us...tons of fun for kids. Day pass for unlimited rides is reasonably priced. Big thumbs down for the snotty young roller coaster operator. I know I'm a pretty big guy, but you didn't need to call me out as "doesn't fit here." The lake tour by boat was the best part of the day for me!
Fun for everyone in the whole family. You can't beat this NW Iowa tradition Amusement park rides, mini golf, go-karts, ride The Queen. Lots of fun boutique shopping spots.
This was my favorite childhood family trip and for over 25 years we've been coming but the prices rise and the park ages if you come with the idea it is s valley fair type stop you'll leave sadly disappointed but if you come with the knowledge it is one of the oldest parks in the US then you'll enjoy the simple rides with small lines. This trip was slightly disappointing compared to other years several rides were down when we first got there but got going couple hours after opening except for the family favorite...log ride. Still love and had a great time and plan to return next year. Money tip...if your thirsty exit the park and across the street from the ticket booth there is the nutty ice cream shop with root beers for $1
It was great. Fun for everyone in the family. Lots to do. We had ages 4 to 67 and it was good times
This place is quite dated, but it will provide a good experience for your family if you’re looking for something do do. My four friends and I meandered around this location and justified none of the rides were worth the money.
Has free concerts for most events and you can enter the amusement park for decent/cheap price. There are always things to do here and is good place to have a good time.
Fun park to go to while in the Okoboji/Spirit Lake area. Neat to think that it's one of the oldest amusement parks in the United States. Nice stores inside and right outside of the Arnolds Park Amusement Park for souvenirs. Recommend visiting this amusement park before it closes in September!
The Prominade is a BEAUTIFUL addition!!
Great little lake side park.
Great place for kids of all ages. Lots of fun things to do and treats to try!
Crooked house is fun, we didnt do the amusement park or go karts
The new roof garden wow go see it listen to a band there its nice very nice
We were so excited to go here and I was So disappointed. I love going here but Not to the Amusement Park inside. Most of the rides were broke or being fixed (Not sure we got what we paid for in rides), the roller coaster was not working so we went back before leaving and I asked if it was okay and the safety rails were not working, but they did something and finally got them down, when I questioned it they said "Its fine"... didn't seem fine. The workers were occupied yelling to each other talking from ride to ride and then seemed bothered by us. The area for younger kids seemed to be better. I will always come to all the wonderful shops and restaurants around it but never again to the Amusement Park itself.
I love going to Arnold's Park with my family. Arnold's Park has fun rides and a nice staff. I Also like going to the stores the are right out side of the park.
My family loves Arnold's Park, it's something we build into our annual vacation. Quick walk down from our condo, never overly packed as we go at the end of August. Fun rides!
Not very many rides and the workers speak different a language, but the go carts are fun.
Nice for the kids, if your the parent beware the staff are rude and depressing and in my opinion need some personality. They made it more of an unpleasant first time experience for me and my family. Decent food and rides.
Awesome time
Wonderfu, clean park for our 3 year old! We had a blast!
Historical Small Town Amusement Park in the Beautiful Iowa Great Lakes
Such a fun place! You can purchase tickets per ride or day passes!
Really fun a bit crowded and not alot of rides for adults but great otherwise
The ride tickets are expensive and not all of rhem were in operation. The museum and gift shops were nice.
Nostalgic fun for all ages.
Very happy that they don't charge for admission. Much fun can be had by all ages. Just bring your own food/snacks.
Fun family activities and great views
Helen and Drew are awesome!
This amusement park is about as good as you’d expect it to be, being on a random lake in northwestern Iowa. It has some decent rides, some carnival games, and some good places to grab a snack. It’s just as expensive as places like Valley fair, though. It’s probably not worth the price but a nice place to visit if you’re already visiting Okoboji.
What's not to love about this place?! Spent the day there last week and made memories that will last a lifetime. Still the best wooden roller coaster in the US! Prices are fair and the atmosphere takes you back to your childhood. Can't wait to get back again next summer.
Great historical place with some new and old attractions. Family fun.
My kid loved it the roller coaster it great and all the rides
I'd like to meet the person who inspects these rides daily. This place is an accident waiting to happen.
Relaxing day! Hadn't been there since I was a very little girl.
Kids love this place, everyone is really nice.
Kids and I love it here!
Reasonable prices, we loved the ala carte ride options, games, clean facilities and friendly staff!
Cool place for everyone with rides and shopping
Great day and rides and things for the kids
I was out here this past summer and this was my first time actually going to this place. The old roller coaster looked very unsafe. Kind of old and worn out. I know it works and functions fine and everything. I walked through the park and enjoyed myself. This was a pretty sweet stop.
Fun place to take the family
It was great. There was amazing rides, but the food was overcooked or not even cooked.
Great Venue! Great Hipsitality!
Alot of shopping options for junk food and clothing. Really nice area to walk around and the kids love the outdoor instruments.
Get a wristband! Don't waste $ on indicidaul ride tickets if youre doing more than one, too expensive that way. Snacks were reasonably priced.
Nice that they don't charge to walk through the park with your kid's.
Great place. Love the new Roof Garden.
It is a good place to take your children or Grandchildren..not much to offer older amusement park adventurers.
It's a little bit touristy but for the price and joy on the kids' faces is priceless and memorable for years and years to come. The chaperone rate is also nice. The more we explored the entire area the more it really impressed us. The shops and public areas are well worth stopping in as is the maritime museum next door. Very good time.
Best place to hangout on the weekends, so much going on.
Always enjoy seeing Art in the Park. So many wonderful artists at these events. Outstanding!
Not the best amusement park but good vibes and good pals
Great place for the summer in Iowa!
This place is great. Ride the coaster!
This is the quintessential American amusement park. It's small, but has all the classic rides. It's great for small children and the views from ferris wheel are worthy the price of admission. Great upgrades to the park and surrounding area over the last few years. It's not Disney World, but that's what makes it great.
Great summer vacation hangout
Pretty good. Went there with my school on a field trip.
Had a blast and so did the kids...... prices for parts ate kinds on the pricey side. Goofy golf was te best course I've ever played. Absolutley spotless clean. Great atmosphere and the crowds were not bad. I remember coming to this park when I was little. Definitely a great place for summer vacation for your family.
The Best for the past 70 years!!
Went mini golfing, great course, definitely will do it again
Fun place to go with fun things for the whole family
Nice park and museum.
As always, Arnold's Park delivers a great concert and fireworks. Come early , park your lawn chair and enjoy a nutty bar as you walk the waterfront, then relax and enjoy music and people watching.
Fun place with something for everyone. Great location on the lake.
