Here we offer you the reviews of real people who buy the products and services of The Waterpark (Park) in the area close to Indiana.
At the moment the business gets a score of 4.5 stars out of 5 and the score is based on 884 reviews.
As you can see the average of ratings is virtually the top, and it's based on a very high number of scores, so we may say that the assessment is quite faithful. If people have bothered to value when they've done well with the service, it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to set evaluations when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Park is included in the category of Water park.
We visited the park on 7-14-19, it was our first time there. The first thing I noticed was the unmowed grass areas around the parking lot. The grass and weeds was knee high. Not a very good way to attract new patrons. The inside was very well maintained and very clean. I feel that you need more shaded areas around the park, especially while waiting in line for the rides, and a misting station to keep cool while waiting your turn. There needs to be more chairs in the kiddie areas. One of my family members had a medical emergency while waiting in line. The staff noticed there was a problem and jumped in to action. They was well trained, and did a great job in helping with the situation. The kids had a blast and we will return. Thank you
It's summer, it's warm, and everyone wants to partake in the great pastime of cooling off. This is one place you can go and enjoy every variety of water park entertainment. There is the lazy river for the ones who want to relax but stay cool. There is the water ski for the more adventurous. There are tons of slides to take your pick from. And of course there is the pool. Life guards are available throughout the center. The concession stand serves up a mean ice cream cone along with other consumable items from hot dogs to pizza and of course items to quench your thirst. Plenty of seating and lounging chairs. Cabanas are available to rent and come with a fan, refrigerator, and music. People of all ages and backgrounds just enjoying the awesomeness of this nice adventure.
Nice park. It's kept very clean and staff is friendly. We could not find a locker/changing room at the water park so be sure to bring extra towels. Not super cheap but reasonable price.
Much fun!
It’s ok
The blue water slide is superior
Fun to go with friends and family. Though it is very crowded around 1 pm
Drove over an hour to come here for them to be closed. It never said anything about them being closed on their website for Monday, July 7th. My husband and I weren’t too happy that nothing was posted about closing. We ended up going to freedom springs in greenwood.
Went for an adults only night. It was great! We stayed in the lazy river the whole time. Lots of other fun activities as well.
Nice fun little waterpark.
Very fun park, just wish there were more slides and less crowds.
The website makes everything seem much nicer than it actually is. One of bathrooms was absolutely disgusting and reeks of poo!! The smells was so strong you could smell it outside the bathroom.
Half price after 4p. Something for all ages!
Park is very clean. But they definitely have an issue with people hoarding chairs and not using them. Got there at 1145 am Sunday. Not a chair in site that wasn't claimed yet probably only 30 percent had a person near them
Had amazing time with my little kids!
Awesome park to take the family to cool off. The lazy river is not very long, but you can just keep going around if you want. The water park for the kids is cool but can get super busy with other kids. They also have an ok concession stand and plenty of life guards posted.
The price of admission affordable Food great and reasonably priced. The amenities numerous
Great public pool
Love the dog swimming day idea
I love the surfing area but I think they need more seating area and keep the food better stock
So nice and very good
The park was very nice and clean and the staff was great, but unfortunately 2 of the attractions were down so we didn't get to enjoy everything. Super fun place for the family.
Small area for really small children that got overrun by bigger kids. The chairs are torn up but otherwise, seems clean. A lot of young lifeguards present.
The regulars and staff are very rude to people that don't come there very often, felt very unwelcome
21 and over night was fun! Not terribly crowded
Great experience on every visit staff is always courteous and very professional
Lots to do here, great pool and splash area, indoor track, multiple basketball courts, gym, fitness classes, etc etc. Also hosts various sport classes for kids.
This by far was a fantastic place to visit! Price for admission without membership is reasonable. $11 for adults, $8 for children. Seniors are $8 and infants free. Parking is free. The concessions are also reasonably priced and with four kids today I did not feel like I was spending an arm and a leg! Really cool place for kids and adults with water slides, splash/kiddie area, and a lazy river!
Great, family friendly place. Clean, but would advise wearing water shoes. When walking up the sidewalk to the slides barefoot, the concrete is hot. I literally burned the bottom of my feet. I had to put burn gel on my feet when I got home.
You trying have a good time with family and friends this is the place for that :)
I’ve Been Here Many Times This Summer With My Kids, Friends, & Other Family. Everyone I Bring Here Lovesssssss It. I have Many Pics And Videos But It’s Wayyyy Better In Person. We Spend At Least 4-5hrs EASILY There. They Have Big Kid Icecream Cones For 75¢. It’s Just a Wonderful Place To Go Have Some FUN In The SUN ☺️
Monon Mixer was great! Not quite long enough, but very fun.
Today I went with the kiddos for the first time it was nice staff was great food was good and it was plenty too do I couldn't even do it all had fun love the donut slide
I taught a class here. The place is well lit, staffed when you come on. Friendly staff, clean building. Rooms well marked. Bathrooms nice and clean!
Had a blast! Highly recommend reserving a cabana in advance and purchasing entry tickets in advance online. Saves time from standing in line to get tickets. The cabana really helped with getting out of the sun and having a place to eat/relax. The FloRider was super fun. All of the attractions were great - slides, lazy river, rock climb wall. The staff was over the top outstanding and nice. Hats off to all of them. They made the entire experience that much more amazing. Thank you!!!
Love it , kids had a blast and although there isn’t always seating people come and go so you will find one eventually. Enough life guards to feel okay about taking half an eye for 1 second off your kid to adjust your suit. Definitely recommend getting a membership if you plan on going a lot. Cabanas are a plus as well , music and a fan and comfy seating.
Small water Park good for spend time with the family..
Great place just so many people there and long waits
Very crowded, and not organized well. But, ok for a couple of hours of fun.
Monon Park in Indy is Awesome
It's so nice and big. The water was a little chilly but on a hot day it felt great to me.
Nice location. Free parking. Very clean. I can float in the lazy river here all day. Well maintained. Lots of lifeguards for safety
Not too crowded on week days and fun for kids or adults
Activities for all ages
first time there me and my family really enjoyed ourselves
Fun day here
Very clean staff was friendly they have this water ride called flow rider (surfing) they had one side they called the training side to teach you how to ride the staff was very patient with the guest my only complaint would be they take a break in 2 areas every hour which seemed to be the most used areas
Great staff
This place is a great place to spent your summer at
Terrible too crowded no parking will never come back again couldn't even get in.
Wonderful place to spend the summer. Fun for the whole family. Even at the busiest time it doesn't feel overcrowded. Everything is very clean and the whole place is well priced.
Concession stand was too pricey and the description of the park says that all pools are warm which isn't true. Also the bathrooms could be a little cleaner.
Had a good time overall, but there needs to be a better way of running the wave rider area. Kids are waiting forever as three or four people go over and over again in the so called advanced area.
Looooove this place! The staff is always very friendly, and very well organized. We actually live in Brownsburg and drive to Carmel to go to this waterpark instead of Splash Island in Plainfield, because it’s so much more organized and stress-free! Not to mention, it has more to offer. It’s always very clean and is a super fun place for the kids and adults! I personally would just stay on the lazy river all day if I could! Highly recommend this place!
Great park and waterpark!
The park was clean and we'll staffed with friendly and attentive guards. We spent most of our time with the little ones in the lazy River and the infant pool (1'6" depth), but also tried out the plunge slide and walked the whole park. It's a great gem hidden in the morning center. I know they also have some adult-only nights during the summer and we hope to try one out in the summer of '19!
It was ok. Regular pool with a few extras.
I want to start by saying it is a fun place for kids to play and splash around. With that being said... It's not very clean. At all. The park wasnt opened an hour when we had to use the restrooms and the restrooms were FOUL. We paid for a cabana in advance. Only to get there and find a bunch of teenagers had stripped and left their things in the cabana we paid 100.00 to rent for the day. Once their things were removed, the metal storage they provide in the cabana was nasty, sticky and looked like it had cigarette ash in it. We told a park employee that was supposedly a manager. We got the whole, 'we will clean it up speech'. Only for this chick to come and look at it and never return. When it was time to leave,(we had already picked up our trash and packed our food and things up mind you) they had park employees handing out trash bags asking people in the cabanas to 'help them clean up'. I was a little stunned considering when we got there the park had not provided a clean cabana. Now you're asking me to do your job? Their cleanliness is an issue but the actual Waterpark is fun.
Thieves! Taking advantage of lower income people by offering 1/2 price after 4pm and then forcing everyone out 1.5 hrs early. Curse you!
This pool had it ALL! single father of three (that aren't all the same, go anywhere, height) that's the only tough part....you cannot see everywhere from any one vantage point. There is a nice lap pool for playing/teaching swimming, a GREAT water jungle gym w slides/sprayers/water dumper, a GREAT lazy river, a GREAT kiddy pool, a nice rope climb over the water, two big kid slides, a rock climbing wall over water and deep water steep/short/fast water slide, and a wave rider/surf simulator (you have to register/sign a waiver for this and wait in line, it's not a quick process....but it's awesome for the kids and the instructors were great), they have a first aid stand, a GREAT concession stand and the place is clean! I asked a couple different life guards like directional type questions within the facility and they were clueless...which almost weirded me out (like were they aliens masquerading as teenagers)...we drove an hour, and will be regulars going forward!
Very well run, clean, and fun. Food to purchase was reasonable and delicious. It was a wonderful time.
Great price and plenty to do
The water park is so big and so clean and has so much fun stuff for everyone. There are small kiddie pools, larger pools, Lazy River, slides, surfing, snack bars, Cabanas, everything.
This place was great. Very affordable for large or small groups. Rent the Cabana and make a day of it. We will be back to enjoy this park again.
We really enjoyed our trip to The Waterpark! The kids had a blast even though they were an inch too short to do any of the really cool things...like the Flo-rider or the rock climbing wall. We will be back next summer to try those out!
My brother and I came here last year and enjoyed the deep water slide and lazy river. Other slides are decent. Really isn't much room in the actual pools hence why lazy river was first choice. Scenery and location are great!
We love going here to swim! Never used the other parts of tbe facility, but the water park is nice!
Lots of fun. Lots to do.
11 bucks but worth it
They closed at 6 pm and there website said 7pm. It was labor day weekend. So we only got to swim for an hour and pay full price. It sucked
great fun, great staff, very clean
Had a beautiful time with the family. And kids friends. Lazy river was the best thing going. Be sure to arrive early. Fills up fast. Consider buying tix online to completely avoid standing in line. Especially in this hot hot heat. I give this place a very very high rating. Check it out!!
My 6yr old twins love this place. Its a fun place to spend a hot summer day.
Amazing!!! Love to watch the wave pool! Staff is incredibly patient and kind with the little ones. Over all 2 thumbs up and that's a first from me!!!
Good for family with kids, price of entry was reasonable the slides were fun
Nice place! Wear footwear as concrete is very hot!!!
Love this place and everything about it
There are some great things about this park and there are a couple lacking. Great - The lazy river is very nice. Lots of plants around you, some overhead sprayers. I enjoy the river. There is a plunge slide that is fantastic. Only one I've seen and I do it everytime. There is a wakeboarding pool but I haven't used it. The kids area is a blast. Not Great - The large water slides are a huge disappointment. You have to walk am incredibly long path to get there. They are a short ride and quite slow. The other is there is one "standard" pool. It's a bit small and the max depth is 5 feet. I know it's a safety thing but I want to swim without touching the floor. An amazing thing is their special needs swims in the summer. After traditional close a few nights a year, they open up for special needs children and their family.
Great fun for the whole family!
Very kid friendly. My grandson had a great time.
So much to do for all the kids of all ages. Good price and lots of fun for the family.
Had a blast and overall it is mostly a great place. The bathrooms are not anywhere near clean though. While waiting in line we watched a lady with 3 or more kids get tired of waiting in line. She tried to get in through the membership line and was turned down. She then decided to bypass it all and enter through the exit without paying. Once inside I watched as lifeguards had to tell the family to quit wrestling in the lazy river. Not entirely the water park's fault, but they should notice if people are just walking in the exit.
wonderful day at the water park!
This place is so fun
Had a great time ! And it’s was only $5 after 4pm
Less of a ding on the facilities and more of a ding on the people and policies. Everyone here is outright savage when it comes to the lounge chairs in the water park. People hoard them. Even saw a fat woman near the wave sim strip down so she could put some article of clothing on 7 different chairs. Park staff seems to care less about this issue... I think applying a refundable rental fee for the chairs (think Aldi shopping carts) may be an effective way to stop some of this behavior. Or figure out a way to assign lounge chairs for set amounts of time. It’s a shame that common courtesy, consideration, and decency is so non-existent these days, but welcome to 2019. Also, the bathrooms are kind of disgusting.
Beautiful & fun. Pricing is reasonable
We drove a long distance on Monday, 7/8 only to find that they were closed for “maintenance “. There was no mention of the closure on their website or phone message when I called earlier that morning to double check that it was open. When I questioned the worker at the gate about the situation , he said the closure was online. I asked him if he was sure , he responded “Did you check?” -in a rude manner. Contacted the Parks Dept with an email to address these issues...still no response. Very disappointing experience for my entire family.
Good family friendly place...well kept, always clean. Fair entrance fees and concession prices. I feel like we get a good value here.
Had a lot of fun. Just wish I it was less crowded.
Great place for kids of all ages!!
Always a fun day with the kids! The park always looks clean and most of the lifeguards are nice and friendly.
One of the cleaner waterparks in the Indianapolis area, minimal food options but coolers are allowed.
Lots of fun. Water sides, lazy river and sun!
This place is amazing. Perfect size so that the entire family has something to do but not overwhelming. It was packed the Saturday we went and the lines still weren't that bad. Prices are excellent for all the amenities. I would definitely invest in a family season pass if I lived locally. When we come to visit the family in the future we are definitely stopping here again.
The lifeguarding class is the worst. The employees don’t care about your safety or the equipments safety and that the food in the food court is atrocious.
Great place to visit. Took a team here for a celebration and they had a BLAST. Great staff and was very helpful with the activities we had planned for them.
Fun exciting place to be for my granddaughter.
Amazing place to take the whole family to!
Really nice place tons to do! My only complaint is the concession stand food not so good I have never had a bad corndog until Saturday 8/3/2019 that was the most disgusting corndog ever it was soggy and the taste was horrible not even the kids liked it! But everything else was on point people were pleasant I will definitely come back
Huge, kids of all ages have there own spaces to play. You can bring a cooler, or a little shade tent for the lawn...great place to go.!
Like any public water park. I must say, today it looked as if it was going to rain, the woman said when I went to buy my ticket, that I'd get a full refund if it did before they closed. Never heard of that before! It was only $11, not sure I'd wait in line for 30+ mins for a refund. Still cool but what's not cool is, I paid with credit card. I always look st my account for the day after purchases and I saw "ACT Registration" so I'm thinking, I'm not in high school, I didn't buy this. I was about to have my card blocked and then it hit me. It was the water park. So FYI, if you ever use your card, it'll say ACT registration. Overall not much of a complaint here.
Bathrooms were only toilets..no locker rooms.they also closed and locked the restrooms before we could even get out of our wet clothes. Not
Something for every age. Grandkids loved it. Having the cabana was great and I highly recommend especially if you have small kids. Good to get out of sun and rest. Loved the lazy river!
My family and I went there today, we had a blast. My kids loved it and we loved watching them have a blast. Tons of water activities for the whole family.
Great experience...I will definitely be going back. I actually surfed! Lol
Awesome place and a lot of fun. Get there early when they open because the place tends to be packed. It's worth the price...you won't be disappointed.
Great place but they don't limit the incoming people so it gets very crowded with no place to sit. Needs more restroom and changing room areas for as many people as they let in.
I like to take my grandkids there.i feel comfortable they're being watched, lots of guards.
It's a beautiful environment for fun in the summer.
Great family fun. Clean and we'll run facility.
Tons of people where there and their bathrooms/changing rooms were disgusting but my boyfriend and I had a great time and the price is really fair!
I’m only giving it two stars due to the fact that we waited in line for an hour some girls in front of us cut the line went to the line that’s for members only and pay we’re allowed to go in ,when we try to move to that line the guy name , Mike said members only so I told him those girls just came and pay here he said sorry I didn’t see them he clearly did see them he let another lady in,they had no children while I was in line with 5 kids had to stand in the sun wait in line. After the lady was able to pay in the members only line like he said “ She came back try to hand him money she was like here thanks again I saw it happen that’s just not right. He didn’t take the money but that right there tell you something.
Had a blast. Kids did too. They were so packed, but it was worth the wait. Lots of life guards.
Great place. Looks just like it does in the pictures, locker rooms available, lots of space and fun things for kids to do! When I was there, it was clean, and in a remote location.
Something for every age. Grandkids loved it. Having the cabana was great and I highly recommend especially if you have small kids. Good to get out of sun and rest. Loved the lazy river!
Went on the 4th of july, but went early to get good seating. It was so fun and had a blast
Its the best when it’s not that busy their is plenty of stuff to do but the regular swimming pool is a little dirty and has hair floating everywhere
Would have 5* if they didn't close the main pool 1/2 way thru the day with no reason besides safety check. Overcrowed..
What a gem! Incredibly reasonable. Bring in your own food if you'd like. The cabanas lined line a great idea, had we planned for them. Prices of the treats at the concessions stand were surprisingly low. Great way to wear the kids out. Nice to see the staff removing disruptive kids. Quite professional.
Really neat little water park located in Carmel! This was my first visit and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of pools and chairs to accommodate such a high volume of clientele! Will definitely be returning here soon!
This place is great fun but it gets over crowded all the time and there is often a wait (one person in one person out) to comply with fire code. I recommend checking Facebook page before going, as they often post if they are at capacity. If this was helpful please thumbs up.
Pretty fun and clean, food could use some work.
Kids had a lot of fun. Only real complaint is a lack of showers.
Where has this gem been all my life? They have freaking rock climbing into the water, surfing for beginners or advanced, slides, etc. Even if you don’t know how to swim you can have a good time here. And it’s pretty cheap!
Place gets B U S Y on the weekends. It PAYS to have a Membership! No waiting in LONG LINES to get in. Having a CABANA is very nice!! Especially on a 90 degree scorcher!
Clean, fun and inexpensive.
The park itself was great, however they did not have the appropriate amount of staff to help with all the guest. We waited close to an hour and a half to purchase our tickets, they had one stall for changing in the mens room, and we waited about 40 minutes for a quick service snack as they only had one window open.
Cool place when ours bit packed. In my opinion it's better to get a monthly pass than to pay each visit.
Love this waterprark
My kids loved this park! We were visiting from out of town in early August, and luckily the pool was still open because once school starts, it's only open on the weekends. There is a shallow pool that any toddler can easily stand in at almost any point (There are parts that get as deep as 3 feet.) There is also a large play structure with water slides in the middle of it. The lazy river was fun for both our 2 year old and 7 month old who each ride with one of us. There are lots of shady areas and chairs, and even a concessions stand with affordable prices.
Super awesome, perfect for kids or young families. The little kids area is gated off and has a pool with a small slide, fountains, and such. The structure for kids is brilliant lots of things to do. One note, no lifejackets on the blue slide for kids.
Fun for the family. Need to do a better jobs cleaning the bathrooms
Kids loved this place
It is a fun place to go with family. They have different things to enjoy for all ages. It is sometimes really busy, you may wait for a long time in a line to go in if you do not have a membership. They have different good options for food and ice cream. They should improve their bathrooms service, never clean.
Decent place to come to, you pay a cheap price for a cheap waterpark. The bathrooms are disgustingly horrible, and the water is badly represented compared to other waterparks. I marked off another star for my review, because of the parking lot, it should not take my family over 30 minutes looking for a parking spot. Fix this problem and I'll be back.
Always a great day at the Monon Water park. Good food at a reasonable price. Lots to do.
Good place for family fun and getting the kids out of the house.
This park is awesome lots to do for young and old. 11 for adults and 8 for kids worth the
Great for a company outing!!
Fun but crowded
Drove from out of town on Monday, July 8th just to find it unexpectedly closed. Nothing posted on their website, telephone msg not saying anything about it, just that 'they are open 7 days a week during the season'. They were just turning tons of people away and they were rude about it, as well. Shared my experience with Carmel Clay Parks contact us link and received no response, apology, anything. There were people there that had driven over 2 hours to get there. It was very unprofessional and heartbreaking to a bunch of kids that were wanting to go. Went to Plainfield instead. Make sure you verify they are open before you go and not 'closed for maintenance'.
I love this pool. It's always crowded, but it's a really nice pool. I love the lazy river! It's a little expensive for a family of 4, but they have so many activities for all age ranges.
It's great, but it's expensive.
It was great! Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. I loved my cabana. I had a smaller one, but it was big enough for the 4 of us. The parked closed due to rain, but reopened within 30 minutes. It was quick and easy to return. The food was hot and fresh. Not sure of the food prices, because one of the other people with me paid. Admission wasn't overly price. The park was clean and the water was cold.
Monon Mixer is the best!
This is a scaled down waterpark experience compared to a major theme park; this isn't a bad thing because the price is dramatically scaled down as well. You get far more than your 8-11 dollar admission would suggest. There are pools, splash areas, areas for toddlers, areas for elementary kids, and attractions for older kids as well. The staff and lifeguards were extremely attentive, friendly, and superbly focused on safety. I only got to spend a little over 2 hours at the park the day we went due to storms with lightning in the area, and still felt like it was a bargain (and a great time). I look forward to our next visit.
Wonderful place and lots of fun. You don't get that overcrowded feel, which is great. Plenty of lifeguards which is comforting. Can't wait to go back!!
Such a good time!!
Very nice people and nice workers. Had a great time.
It´s not really for little and big kids like i have a little sister and my mom and me too!
Such a good time when visiting
Super friendly and helpful staff.
Great place for the price. Kids have a good time. Only complaint is that some of the life guards have an attitude occasionally. Witnessed one just standing there yelling at a small child that obviously didn't understand what was going on.
Awesome, but CROWDED
Bathrooms aren’t even usable for an animal . So crowded wait 25 for an inter tube . The pool was closed so why did I pay 35 $ and couldn’t even swim ...
Great day for the pool!
