I took my 4 year old and we had a great time. She was too short to go on the big slides, but that was ok with us. There were a lot of other things for her to play on. She enjoyed the lazy River. The concession stand had decent prices. There is sun screen here. The bathrooms we're clean and they have a family bathroom. You can get a locker for a quarter, just bring extra quarters, every time you open the locker, you have to put in another quarter to relock it.

Great for all ages. Way better than your stereotypical municipal pool. No outside food or drink. You can bring EMPTY cups, and be aware that they don't have any lids or straws. Get there early and stand in line to make sure you get a good seat, although on the day we went it didn't get really busy until about 1 p.m.

Bought the family pass and have had a number of problems with the staff not knowing how to do their job. They aren't very friendly either when dealing with anything. The pool is great if that's all your looking for. But for me not sure about next year's pass.

Guards would yell and blow their whistle at parents for holding their kids in the pool or having them on their backs. Would let anyone hold hands or be close to each other. Had the guard tell another guard to watch me and my significant other because we were holding hands and swimming (not being inappropriate at all, I understand there are children around.) It made me very uncomfortable and made me feel I was being watched the whole time which I was. I haven't gone back since.

A very inexpensive way to entertain the family. Tons of things to do, clean, and great family atmosphere. Season passes are reasonable which is a giant perk when school is out. Bring food in a cooler to leave in the car to save some money.

Clean facility with clear rules, good family jams playing, minimal wait on slides, nice lazy river and plenty of lifeguards. The concessions aren't outrageous, and if you are a smoker, you get a stamp to re-enter. Overall, this is my favorite aquatic center to visit. My kids think this is a vacation when we come here, because it honestly is comparable!! And for only $9 for out of county per person, its not bad at all!!!

I had given this place 5 stars but my trip yesterday changed my mind. My 61 year old wife was stuggling to get out of the lazy river carrying the inner tub. It lightly scraped the center divider for 3 SECONDS. A life guard came up behind her and said PLEASE KEEP OFF THE WALL! I am 63 and mine scraped on it 3 SECONDS as I struggled to keep my balance. She said to me. PLEASE KEEP OFF THE WALL! Teach them the rules and WHEN IT'S NECESSARY TO ENFORCE THEM. Make it a pleasant place.

Such a wonderful place to spend those priceless final days of summer! The park wasn’t overcrowded at all. Personal drinks and food are prohibited. So be sure to bring a lot of money for lockers and food!

Even being busy, I didn't feel stressed about it. Plenty of space to play and it seemed like a relaxed environment. The food was surprisingly really good and large portions for the price! My daughter loved the slide she tried and we enjoyed the lazy river and pirate ship play area

I would think not refund but give the ppl a pass for next day or a pass period if that happen my son had a blast for 20 mins and it was his birthday he cried he had to leave

Out of town visitors. Pool was clean as were all toilets and changing rooms. Food is basic but cheap as that is the only way you can get food or drink. Lots of staff watching over each pool area, slides are good too. Most staff were really nice, also recommend places to eat (which we did and were great!) Only downside is after being there most of the day and going into the lazy river without a ring then being told you have to use a ring to be in that part of the pool. The same person didn't stop me when I entered this part of the pool passing her a ring back (I'm guessing she was to busy talking to her co-worker) but stopped us afterwards.

I really like this public pool. It's different than the other public pools & it has the toilet bowl (I think that's what it's called) which is fun. It is a very clean pool & facility. I like how they have the double tubes & 1 of the holes are covered so a baby or kid can sit in one side & go down the lazy river with you & you don't have to worry about them falling out. The water could be a little colder & their food could've fresher. But it was a good time.

This is the most rudest place I’ve been. The staff is horrible not to mention rude! They have no manners or anything polite to say to anyway one. I’ve sat here for almost 5 hours. I got up to the concession stand from r some water and they gave it to me for free. Then I come back 2 hours later and they tell me it’s 2 dollars. I said how you gonna make me pay for water when all these kids and adults just grabbing waters for free. She says it’s a mistake on her part but I’m charging you for it. Had to buy a 2 dollar pull up for my grandson and it torn as we put it on him right in front of the lady who sold it to me and she says I’ll have to pay another 2$ for another one. I WILL NEVER CONE HERE AGAIN

My main complaint is having to pay just to bring my Grandkids in to swim and also more Grandparents would bring their kids if there were a senior discount. I notice it is not as busy this year so Mayor might want to make some changes.

My children got very VERY ill after being at this park! They ran a fever for 24 hours and puked with headache and stomach pains! I believe it was from the water being contaminated. I’m really disappointed. My toddler son who just turned 2 and my little girl who’s 4. It’s not the season for infections as it’s mid summer! My kids are otherwise very healthy! I’m interested to know if anyone else is having this same issue as us??

This is the waterpark/pool that my family and I go to every summer even though I dont live in Floyd County. They have everything for all ages except a diving area. I would really like to see a diving area here but for the price you pay you will not be disappointed.

It is a great place to play in the water with enough attractions for every age. It would be nice if all of the park rules were posted in one place. The large list of park rules at the gate are rather generic. If you are going to be in the lazy river you have to already know or be told by a life guard that you may only enter at the ramp and you must have a raft. Also, at the bottom of the slide stairs there are some generic rules, but it does not tell you that to do the purple slide you need a single raft.

I was at the pool on the big blue slide and I fell into the pool, and I kept trying to say help because I couldn't breathe and the lifeguard kinda just watched me. And once I was out I was having a huge panic attack so I had to sit down. Totally not worth it. Also I didn't really like the food, small portions and the pizza tasted really, really, really bad. I'm sorry I don't reccomed.

One start is to much. I would have given zero stars if possible . Small park, more like a neighborhood park. Not enough shade. Cannot bring food , and food at the lunch place is mediocre bad. Entry fee is too expensive for the size of the park. Staff had mix information on what height of kid could ride the slides. Signage says one way to ride the inner tube where staff says another. Too many people trying to get on the lazy river causing congestion of people trying to get out. No control of flow. I'm not coming back. Extremely loud music, made for bad experience I wish my money back. Worse 60 bucks spent on entry fees for 4.

Very impressed I found it on Google lol. But we gave it a run today. Honestly you dont pay much to get in. It has a nice small lazy river. 4 slides. A kid area a cool ship that starts the pool going into a bigger starts from 1ft to 10 ft ig I'm right. What we loved is they have life guards everywhere. Like literally everytime you turn around. Walking around keeping an eye out. No not just a bunch of teenage kids just talking n on snapchat they are literally doing their job. Slides green one dark fast but fun you get a bit of a rush. So basically 2 tube slides I slide you ride with a raft (tube) and on big one that you go into a tub the go in this round dome thing that drops you into a 9ft pool. N they have a good concession stand. N life jackets for the little ones. You'll enjoy with the kids. So I say go.

Very expensive to get in for Indiana residents outside of that county and ripple from other states. Only worth the price if you plan on using all the slides multiple times. But not to just attend the pool area. The kids pool and spray pad is very nice though. The concession stand prices are reasonable and the food is what you would expect of a concession stand.

We always have a good time at River Run which prompted us to have my 6 year olds birthday party there. This review is specifically about the party. We arrived to a tray of hot dogs, no condiments, no chips, no plates. About 20 minutes later we got the waters we asked for. About 20 minutes after that I asked about the chips. 15 minutes later they brought the chips, and a few minutes after that they kindly told us we had 3 minutes left. Totally not worth the money for the party room, I would just as soon just pay for our friends to go to the pool and skip the disappointment.

It is a nice water park and in a convenient location. The food is like any other concession stand food, so to expect a 5 star restaurant. I would eat before you come and just gets snacks if you need them. 3 stars because out of the 7-10 times we came to the pool this summer, we were never greeted with a smile, given a hello or thank you, and the employees all together are just rude. 90% of them have a snooty, bad attitude and talk to adults like that are stupid. It is unprofessional and a really huge turn off.

The park is good, my daughter isn't big even for the slides yet. The only down side is they are Nazis about not letting food or drinks in. I get it, it's to make money and make sure no one is bringing alcohol in, but they made people dump out unopened water and told them they could refill it. It just seemed a bit silly. I think you can go back to your car to eat your lunch which is good. I was very proud of them that RIGHT when it was closing time, lifeguards were jumping in the water with goggles looking for lost items and this is the FIRST place I have ever seen take sani water and immediately start wiping down equipment. Like no not, but the actual water spouts and in the kids area that little kids can't even reach. I worked at the Y and we never did anything like that. I appreciate them being very conscious of cleaning things. I was pretty impressed with that.

Very fun place. Very clean. Good food. My little sister has a blast every time! Only problem is the life guards are kind of mean. Constant whistle blowing, yelling at the kids in mean tones, and even using an air horn frequently. Just wasn't fond of the way they talked to little kids.

This place is horrible for families. We had to pay for our 14mo to start with. Second, there are no slides for kids under 48”. My daughter is a great swimmer but unable to do the slides. The rules online say 48” for single tubes. Nothing about double tubes by being allowed on the website then we get there and no double tubes. We even called to verify and no one answered. We paid $28 for 2 adults, 5 year old, and 14mo and left after 5 minutes. My husband talked to a manager and she did absolutely nothing for us and was extremely rude to my husband.

My nephews are in town and my wife and I decided to check out this waterpark since....ya know....we live two minutes away. I'll be honest...I am greatly impressed! I think it is a great park for the money and the lifeguards are on point and are very friendly. They do blow their whistles a bit, but only when it's necessary because people aren't following the rules. This makes for a very safe place to enjoy yourself with your family. I do hope they make a few modifications to accommodate more than just adults or very young children. Some intermediate slides would be a nice touch and help make a lot more people feel welcome. I'm still giving this place five stars because we had a blast in the hour and a half we were here!

This is a first community pool in the new albany area in almost 40 years. It is reasonably priced and there is quite alot of room to play. The features include: snack bar, lockers, lazy river, beach front pool entrance, 3 lanes with a depth of 6 ft for serious swimming, one body slide, two tube slides, and a "toilet plunge' type slide. The staff is friendly and helpful. Don't bring food or drink in your bag or you will have to return it to the car. There also is no smoking allowed within 15 feet from the entrance. Parking can be a headache. They have not yet opened a overflow parking lot and the main one fills up rather quick on a summer day. My suggestion is that if you are going then plan on arriving about 15-20 minutes before the gates open to ensure parking and a beach/lounge chair.

Good place to take the family, wish they had more shaded areas to be able to stay out of the sun. They have 4 different slides must be 48" or taller to get on, lockers that cost .25$ to use, restrooms, snack bar and they have life jackets for those that can't swim, and inner tubes to use for the lazy river and slide. The bigger pool only goes to 5 foot deep and a nice size lazy river to float in. 7$ for Floyd County Residents, 9$ for other Indiana residents and 15$ for out of state residents.

Good family-friendly. Small, but very fun. No waiting line for the rides. I would definitely go again. I do advise you NO COTTON clothing allowed!!! ONLY dry fit or bathing clothes allowed. Food is good, very cheap. Limited seating, first come first serve. Restroom area is clean and staff is great. Lifeguards all around.

The staff are very rude. They let you pay they high prices to get in. Then they jerk your bag our of your hand (off your arm) and search your bag like you are an inmate hiding contraband while they are all gloved up. When only looking for food and drink. Refuse to give you your money back after you are treated so horribly. That you dont even want to go swiming. They are constantly blowing them whistles at the little kids playing for no real reason. Omg a kid (3 yr old) went up the slide after going down it while no one was even around the slide waiting to play. Well yeah that called for another blow on that whistle. Will not go back.

I will go to clarksville cove from now on they ATLEAST care enough for THIER patrons hard earned money to give a rain check if something like this happens! I was visiting with my grandkids they really enjoyed the park, my 10 yr old grandson Panicked going down the largest slide and upon entering the water struggle to recompose his self the lifeguard jumped in to assist him immediately I was really impressed and relieved, after the lifeguard team found me they informed me of all that had occurred assured me he was OK and was allowed to return to the swimming activity which he did for couple more hours yet,

Bags were checked at the entrance. I sent my 13 yr old daughter and her friend in and observed the staff checking through the duffle bag they had. They looked like 2 sweet girls with nothing but fun planned, and I was more than glad to see the staff check EVERYONE, no matter what they look like. Thanks to all of you!
