Imagine an ancient bog smack dab in Northwest Indiana! We got to go on the trail that led right into the bog and saw some amazing plants and vegetation! This is a must see if you're in the area.

Gorgeous nature spot with loop trail.

An excellent location for birding. There is a trail (to the bog itself), which requires a guide and key, but a couple miles of trails that are open to the public. Recommend waterproof boots as there are many muddy spots.
