Love it here! Nice park for the price. Great for little kids. The water park is fun. The haunted house is fun and not to scary. Food is not over priced for an amusement park. We normally pack a cooler and leave it in the car. You can walk in and out of the park all day. We have bought season tickets for the last couple of years! Totally worth it and we live 2 hours away.

Second visit this year...great weather courteous staff...sure a couple of bumps along the way but still a ten out of ten for fun with the family

The season pass was a good deal. Only complaint was I saw a young kid on the double shot in the seat that didn’t lock down because it was broken and the staff was just laughing saying he likes it. If the belt buckle broke on the seat at all he would fall out. Shouldn’t let young kids ride something that’s broken like that without parents permission at least.

Brandon Johnson

Was a nice place lines for rides weren't that long, the food stands could have been alot faster. Overall nice place to take a weekend away

Suzanne Phillips

We attended IN Beach this weekend. We were disappointed in the overall quality of the experience. The Ferry was broken and the Trolley's were very dirty (couldn't see out of the windows, dusty seats, and no AC). Upon entering the amusement park, we were wearing our bathing suites and were told while trying to ride our first ride that we needed to "have clothes on." We did not see any signs or guidance from staff around this. Several of the main attraction rides (The Steele Hawg, for example) were not running. They were not labeled as inoperable – this would have been helpful. Food choices were limited (most placed were closed) and very expensive. Also, no water fountains were available at the park. Staff were generally unfriendly and unhelpful. However, Paul, the Trolley driver, was very kind and went out of his way to help us with a couple requests. He made the trip enjoyable.

The lake looks absolutely beautiful at sunset and the best view has to be on the ferris wheel. All though their food is over prices it's an amusement park they all have jacked up prices. But overall it's an amazing place to take your kids/family.

Donald Carpenter

We love our time there, it is a nice drive as well as a great value. However whole place could use a face lift. Meaning a little bit of paint would go a long way. The worst part are the facilities, they stink and ran down looks like they have not been updated since the 80's.

This place is a local attraction for me.. over the years is getting worse and worse it's not like it used to be back when I was growing up.. or when I was in high school... They don't longer have the water show which was awesome for people to watch with stunts on jet skis and skiing and a whole bunch of other things. Personally if I didn't have kids I would not come here. And if I lived far away or out-of-state I would not even bother coming. Today some of the rides were shut down most of the food stands were not open. they no longer have the taco shop. which was a business that rented a spot just like most of the other spots that were rented by businesses to sell food and stuff back in the day. I didn't get some tacos at the place they have here I asked for extra napkins and they told me no. The amount of me and toppings you get can fit in a 2 oz gas. bottom line is not worth coming to unless you have some kids and you live locally and you come a couple times a year if you buy a season pass.

Paige Saye

So much fun! They have pretty good food and still the same great place from when I was a kid. I was so happy after 13 years to bring my family back to Indiana to enjoy the beach and the fishies. Lines were not long at all.

Ramey Salyer

It had short lines, the staff was really friendly even though there were some language barriers. It wasn't too expensive and they had adequate lifeguard staffing

Resa Bane

I am being generous by giving 2 stars since the kids did have fun for MOST of the day. There were several problems throughout the day. First, the bathrooms were nothing short of disgusting. The FIRST ride we attempted to ride was The Hoosier Hurricane. Our youngest measured up to the "must be this tall to RIDE ALONE" sign but after waiting forever in line, they pulled out their L shaped pipe and she was about 1/2" too short to ride. Apparently, each seat is considered riding alone. We were annoyed but carried on with our day and it just so happened that she was tall enough to ride every other ride with the same height requirement except The Hurricane. We later stood in line for about 30-45 minutes for The Den of Thieves, but when it was finally our turn, they shut the ride down to add another cart so the line could "move faster." We waited at least another 15 minutes and decided to move on. We came back to it later and this particular extra cart kept jamming and they ended up shutting down the ride again. This raised a few safety concerns. We ended up missing out on the Ferris Wheel because the line was ridiculously long and for some reason the attendant felt the need to literally only fill 2 out of about 20 gondolas for each turn. This was incredibly frustrating and also had us wondering about safety. We attempted The Hurricane again with the same results so we deciced to complain to the park. Once we arrived at the office, a woman was there with her kids with the same complaint. They even turned away her daughter who happened to be over 52" to their 48" height requirement but allowed children obviously well under 48" onto the ride in front of her. The place was just dirty and run down and lacked the magic it used to hold. Just a lot of disappointment. Also the food is horribly expensive which is to be expected at an amusement park, but the quality and quantity for the price will leave a bad taste in your mouth. You will not pay less than $3 for drinks including water which will run you about $3.29. Not worth it. Just sad.

Daniel Mercer

I've been coming here for years, it's always such a good time. Granted it doesn't have those huge rides like the main amusement parks have but the lines are always reasonable and the atmosphere is always so pleasent and enjoyable. I'll be coming back for many years to come.

James Slinkard

Awesome place to take the kids or just a walk on the boardwalk with your love one

chris w

Decent park. Food is pricey. We like going at night because of how they light it up and coasters in the dark are awesome

Stephanie Klein

We booked but then realized the water park isnt open!! Which makes no sense. Didn't think to check hours for the water park because who advertises that they are a water park but then closes the water park!! And then i find out the pool will be closed too!!! What kinda of water park resort is this.I absolutely regret making this our destination. We will never be back.

melissa Karl

Love this place! Really should spend 2 days,to do it all.

Stephanie Alvather

Love it here! Nice park for the price. Great for little kids. The water park is fun. The haunted house is fun and not to scary. Food is not over priced for an amusement park. We normally pack a cooler and leave it in the car. You can walk in and out of the park all day. We have bought season tickets for the last couple of years! Totally worth it and we live 2 hours away.

Connie Kutch

Very clean. Not often crowded. So much fun for the kids. We were very dissatisfied with the kiddy rides though because they were not all open and little kids can't do all the big rides.

Jessica Loman

Fun place! Just needs to clean out beach where you swim. Too much green slime on bottom.

Rayna Marter

I would've rated 5 stars if it weren't for slicing my arm open on the plastic "fence" ties near the lazy river.

Andre West

You'll have loads of fun with friends and family of all ages.

Trish Phillips

Affordable fun for the family! If you live within an hour or so.... the season pass is so worth it! It's a nice combination of water slides and rides. Unfortunately the staff is mostly students, so when they go back to school many attractions are closed. Including the lazy river!? And I won't be purchasing a refillable cup anymore because the water has a bad aftertaste.

Adam Christopher

Nice place for a little family day. Ride lines never too long. Just needs a little upkeep done.

Mitch

I've grown up going to Indiana Beach every summer for the last 20 years. I've seen a lot of changes in that span, some good, others bad. From changes in ownership, to changes in general managers one thing has remained clear: they want people to keep enjoying Indiana Beach. Keep making suggestions to the park administration and things will change as years go on. Just because it isn't as we remember it a decade ago doesn't mean it isn't still a good place to go with your family.

Henry Schmitt

Classic American Amusement Park. This park is one of the last remaining amusement boardwalks left of its kind.

kat x

Prices for admission/season passes are best to get around Black Friday. Park Size is alright with plenty to do and is decently clean. There was no lines during our visit and we were able to stay on rides as many times as we wanted without getting off, however many rides were closed and we were told by an employee that they are very understaffed. Food is a bit pricey and if you’re local or plan on coming more than once I would highly recommend getting the addons to your pass for food etc.

Debbie Honeycutt

For the price you pay it isn't worth it!! They took alot of the things they used to have away . Thank goodness we have a season pass or we would not have visited this year.

Kyan Logan

I always go there on my birthday and all summer. The people are nice, it has been a good year this year.!☺

Alicia Anderson

Indiana beach is still awesome and we got a sweet deal on season passes for the rest of this year and all of next year

Amber Sexton

Definitely not the same as it used to be growing up. The lake where people can be in had a slippery mossy cement floor where it’s just a law suit waiting to happen. None of the workers are happy to even work there. One teenager in the pizza board walk food place told us Indiana beach was a terrible place to vacation and why would we choose it, another lady wouldn’t let my husband and I which we are both skinny and under 350 pounds together and wouldn’t let us ride the skull shooting game ride together when teenagers same size as us could ride it, last but not least we were in the sub shop where we purchased a 6 dollar smoothie and then after I was thirsty so I asked if she could just fill my cup up with water where you could clearly see there was a water option on the fountain drink station and all I got was a firm overly rude no about that. Very disappointed that they are letting the park I loved going to as a kid just go to waste. Will not be going back

Jason Beaman

Phenomenal little park. What a gem hidden in the middle of no where. Some great classic rides, a fun recreational lake. Great eating establishments in town and fun fair cuisine at the park. Take a weekend or 3 days and come here to relax. I was glad I went.

Christina Hyland

Need to put some money into it, sadly it has gotten very Ghetto. Needs a face lift , nothing is new. It's sad cause it use to be nice, now terrible. Dirty bathrooms, food has gone down hill. Restaurants ran out of ice and soft drinks, the employees didn't seem like they wanted to be there. Very slow. Use to love the water shows etc... now nothing, but when a big company takes over I guess this is what happens. Everything goes down hill, we won't be back.

Luc Loudon

An amazing and fun place for kids, as I’m a kid myself I have to say it is so fun,the food is amazing, the Staff are so nice, and the rides are safe, fun, sometimes extreme, and easy to get to.

Tom VanNevel

Indiana Beach is an awesome family place. If you come in expecting Disney you will be disappointed. However, if you want a place that has rides and games priced so you can tell your kids yes a lot through the day this is the place for you. The season pass is the best deal you will find.

Khrysta Hendricks

Great place for kids. Food can improve for sure.

chris kwok

great family fun and good security guards.

M.E White

Got our season passes. Great deal. My wife four kids and I under 300.00. Love it.

mark brokop

The park does not take care of the local people shutdown the boat parking won't let ya pull up to drop off anyone yeara ago we would stop pn tje boat grab food then get back on and eat.. Sone times we wpuld go at night on the boat play games walk around buy stuff at the stores. But no more. They lose lots of dispensible income ....roo bad the powers at be can't see past their bottom line

Deluge Driver

Great park over looking the lake. Good size rides, lots of fun. We love it

Meghan Clarkstone

I've been coming up here my whole life. This experience over Labor Day weekend was the absolute worst. I bought season passes for my children and myself. We showed up and several of the rides, food stands, games, and guest services were closed. We rode 2 rides and my children were so upset that they wanted to leave. I love coming here, but this experience made me question ever going again. We have to pay for lodging and 100 miles round trip for my kids to come up here ride 2 rides and want to leave. This was really upsetting.

Susan Harrison

Have been going since I was a kid and still love it just as much if not more. The new owners are really putting in the effort to fix the park back up after the former owners neglected it. It’s a family staple and we will continue to go as long as it stands.

Danielle Royalty

Had a great time. Not the cleaniest, overpriced food and drinks. I wouls suggest becoming a season pass holder.

Jenn Vielman

Loved this place. It brings back beautiful memories from my childhood. Get the Season Pass better you'll save your self a lot of money

Nathaniel Schulthes

Went the the new haunted house and was not suprised that I walked through it with out and spook. Very disappointed it the wait

Brady Barnes

I go here almost every weekend and it’s a blast. Would 110% recommend you go. They have some many rides and the lines are no longer than 5 minutes. All in all I have had a great experience their and hope if you go that you do too.

Mrs. Panda

A great place to bring the family. Awesome time for all ages. We've been going every year since I was born & now all my children are going every year.

Diana Trackwell

Lower your expectations and you can have a decent time. Check the weather before you go. Lightning within an absurdly far distance will shut down most things. "It's storming in Chicago, we get to leave early today!" Some staff are nice, others not at all. I give it two stars because... It's something to do in Indiana. Filthy restrooms. Half the dining venues are usually down, and the remaining ones aren't very good. You pay theme park prices for substandard... everything.

Nemo Moore

Super expensive for average rides. 40 something a day? That does not even get you on all the rides. Better off getting the season pass. The cabins on the river are just beautiful! It was fun but a bit over priced.

Tiara Rodriguez

The park was fine the kids were enjoying themselves, we went for the first time ever. It was our daughter's 2nd Birthday it stormed most of the time, so we couldn't really enjoy the rides. We had a terrible experience we decided to leave the park early due to the storm, long story short we had some locals who was screaming out of their car oh that's a n***** and a wet back and said it several times. They were following us we stopped at a gas station and they pulled off and went the other way. We were completely frightened. We immediately cancelled our hotel reservation and decided to go home. I called to leave my concerns and wanted at least a refund for our season passes because I would never be going back again, spoke with Andrea Page and she says she's harrased as well I says well ma'am do you understand how hurtful and scary that is when your in a area you're not at all familiar with and you're a minority on top of that. She proceeded to say her husband is an officer and he gets harassed all the time. I have know idea why she would mention this we are a family with our kids trying to enjoy our Daughter's birthday we didn't expect or wanted be profiled. But it confirmed my point of the racism going here and I would never bring my family back ever again. Themes parks should be safe and free of prejudice we brought our kids their to have a good time not to deal with this. Our daughter's birthday was ruined

Lou Stastny

Great place have been going there for years with the kids. Much cleaner now and the rides all work.

Karen Sandberg

The lazy river is my favorite. The kids and hubby enjoy the water slides. Everyone loves the coasters. The food was good at Pronto Pup.

Mahalayah Turner

We went on an event day, but I guess too early in the season for any of the kiddie rides to be open. Funnel cake wasn't made quite right. Prices for food is pretty steep. It was fun, but a lot of park attractions were closed.

miketucky350

Lots of fun. Short lines. Fantastic water park. Place gives you a feel of the fair with many extras. Love the place.

Sara Lambert

Had an awesome time yesterday starting with the extremely helpful lone woman, Gwynn, at the ticket counter. Rode lots of rides multiple times, very little waiting, loved the water park/slides and very friendly staff. The restrooms/changing area definitely needed attention towards evening, but overall a great experience!

Samuel Fawley

I have come here every Summer for fun! Since the Spackman's sold the place to lousy corporations that only care about the bottom line, things have gotten worse in terms of taking care of customers and keeping them happy! I don't like how they keep the South Entrance closed on weekdays because not enough people show up but it isn't fair to the people who do show up and want to walk across the bridge! Some of the staff were very mean and unfriendly, when my friend wanted to get cheese sticks at the Pronto Pups place, they told her they don't do refills before she could ask for them and my friend left because they weren't friendly and kind of mean! And the sidewalk by the North Entrance desperately needs work with fall hazards for people with falling issues and it's dangerous to walk on the road to the park gate! I want to keep coming back but they are a lot of things that need improved especially with customer service and need to hire more nicer friendlier staff in the food stands!

David Needles

The good - Splashpad next to the Beach. The rides for toddlers/young kids. Short ride lines on Sunday. Season pass prices seem fair. Discounts for Seniors. The bad - Overpriced food and drinks. Some kid rides not open. Most Ride attendants disinterested in their work. Wasps at the beach area. $10 for paid parking with no in/outs. The ugly - Lack of sandy bottom off the beach. Concrete bottom is slick. We will probably return but the current owners need to pay attention to the negative reviews.

Terry France

Good small amusement park for the whole family. From 36 inches tall to adult for a lot of the rides and 44 to 48 inches for the bigger rides. Water park is really enjoyable as well for the family

Tami Rose

I am only giving it 1 star because there isn’t an option for zero stars. We came and bought season passes because the way I remembered this place was so beautiful and fun. I understand that things get old but at least clean the place up. Then, every place we stopped at to eat or get a snack the people behind the counter were just playing around. It wasn’t busy at all but the lines took forever due to employees NOT working. I was pretty excited to bring my kids here but it was very disappointing.... too much money for what it is.

lee schmidt

The bar upstairs was terrible. Good music terrible bar. Wouldn’t serve rum and coke because coke was flat wow. No change for pool table. No drinks only beer after we got there.

Timothy Cuttill

Good times, but the part needs some updating, certainly needing to better staff their shops. I did have a couple issues with a fee rude staff members. Still worth a visit for the price. A little annoying that you have to pay just to walk the boardwalk, that used to be free. If I'm not going on rides there should be a lessor price or free entry. Also they should bring back night time discounts, if you're only in the part from 9pm to 10pm ot would be nice if they still offered a twilight discount.

Cinder Linh

I really loved the lady Linda who you have at the front desk now. She's a real sweetheart. Your admission prices are getting outrageous so I don't think I will be returning though.

Violet Molina

Just a week ago they allowed us to bring our own drinks inside. Not today. Also, they would not let me take my two year old's snack inside (tiny bag of veggie chips, already opened). Need to be more mindful of little ones

janice bloss

Best place for smaller kids...but my 15yr old grandson had a blast as well. New owners have cleaned it up. We went as kids...took our kids...now taking the grandkids! No too bad on the wallet either. Stay at campground and ride the ferry to the park. Park tickets half price with camping. We go every year.

Kayla Tomasevich

I go here at least twice a year. Longer lines on weekends, but still that's normal. Lots of fun for the whole family. If you're planning on going more than once a year buy a season pass. It cost a little more than a ticket, but saves you a lot of money for the next time. And also make sure to bring extra spending money for food and other stuff.

Joshua Strauss

The park is awesome. It has changed since I was a kid. But that's on a plus note.

Dawn Snead

Several rides weren't open, we ordered pizza at one of the eateries and after Asking how much longer (had been 25 minutes)guy started making it. Then it came out still doughy, hubby had enough & got our money back. Water park area was nice though.

Carla Thompson

We visited for the first time with our 2 & 4 year olds. They had a great time at both the water and amusement park portions. The park is becoming pretty rundown, and could use a lot of TLC. Staff was friendly and helpful, even going as far as having a first aid helper trek across the park to bring g us a bandaid for a blister. The biggest complaint we had was they only had one raft for one of the water slides!

Ebony

My family visited me from NJ, where we have plenty of boardwalks, beaches and amusement parks. Now living in Indy, we decided this would be worth the 90 minute drive. The park was great, the older kids loved the water park portion, we packed sandwiches, snacks and easily left and re-entered the park for a couple of food breaks. My youngest nephew enjoyed the younger area rides as he is only 41". Our favorite part was the water bumper cars, this was everyone's first time doing them and we had a ball!!! The arcade was super affordable and topped off our fun family day out. Recommend it highly and we will revisit next year!

Vertrise Ray

Carnival on steroids!!! Something for everyone to do even your toddler will have a ball. #AWESOME

Benny Camp

It's fun when you dont go on weekends when its packed and have to wait in life for a half hour or more for a 30 sec ride. But I still love it. Prices are decent for a amusement park.

Terry Bork

Fun place but we are on the larger side and many of the rides would not accommodate us. In fact, they force the bars down on one ride they got stuck and wouldn't allow the ride to go and or release us. Took 20 minutes and maintenance to get it working again. Nice park but could use some fresh paint in many places.

Zhenay Newhouse

Great family fun for all ages!! No outside food or drinks allowed..Adult beverages are sold here..amusement park prices on everything..long line to get in if you didnt purchase tickets online and print them..print your tickets in black and white..The scanner cant read color copies!!!

Zebes 12

I loved this place because I was with the most amazing girl in the world, and when I'm with her, everything is amazing.

Sophia Overrated

Don’t let pictures of the cottages fool you they are immensely smaller, dirtier, moldier, and just all around worse than pictured/advertised. Park and pools are fun however drinks are overpriced. Maybe if you find a different place to stay at in the park than the cottages you will have a better experience than our family did

Mike Gilliam

Great place that is fairly close. It's a bit dated but we still enjoy it. Water was warmer than i expected which i very much enjoyed. I hate cold water. It was perfect temperature in the lazy river and shallow area. I did not feel the splash pad area. We bought the 2019 refillable cup last year and it more than paid for itself in one day. Hope to get back a couple more times at least this year.

Crystal Rapp

Indiana Beach used to be so much fun when I was a kid. As I got older not much changed. It is now just a very run down amusement park. If you want to be cheap and not go to kings island or cedar point then that is a good place to go. Honestly I'd rather just go to a county fair than there. I was so excited when they got new owners. But they didn't make much improvements. The steel hawg is the only thing that place has going for them. And even then, that's a baby coaster.

Angel Evans

Alot to do for the kids. Love the food and drink pkg. Awesome summer passes. Our family loves this place.

Jennifer Caudill

Run down, not taken care of. The waterpark has cement floor to it and its slippery as snot, sand only goes 2feet out in the water. The place is full of cob webs , every ride has them, even inside the logs in the log ride they have cob webs in them. Room wasn't very clean and I woke up itching on my legs and bites, they were not concerned at all. Will not go back EVER. People that work there were not helpful at all.

Cat Gray

Bathrooms closest to the entrance had low water pressure.90% of toilets were full of nasty. Whole park was out of suvinor cups on bracelet day ..with no alternative for .99 refills.. coincidence!

MineCraft Snowman

We bought season passes and have loved going once a week. It is really nice to be able to park by the entrance, too. The park looks great! The workers are wonderful! Very friendly. I am so glad to see Indiana Beach looking do good and offering so much entertainment again! Worth it buy the free drink and bucket refill deal.

Becca Pauer

I've lived in Indiana my entire life but this was my first time visiting. My husband and I had a GREAT time - so much so that we bought season passes. We loved every aspect of the park (including the outstanding customer service) and can't wait to return. It's a fun, charming and beautiful place.

Sara Castongia

So much fun for the whole family! From the adults to the teens to the toddlers, my whole family always has a blast here! Season passes are TOTALLY worth it. The price of the food pass is outrageous though, you're better off packing a lunch and taking a break at your car to eat. If they lowered the price of the food pass we would buy it though. Staff is always friendly and the park is always clean.

Lisa Lash

Took whole family. Even my 1yr old granddaughter had a blast on the huge splash pad. Her and my youngest son, age11, enjoyed feeding the carpet. Everyone enjoyed the rides and food. Great place for family fun. The season tickets were priced fairly cheap.

Karen Browning

We had never been here before. The concept is great, but execution is tired. We were upset that they advertised being able to buy refillable cups but the whole park seemed to be out of them (later confirmed by customer service agent). The park upkeep wasn't great in areas which makes you think about whether other areas are lacking. If you lived close by, I am sure this would be a fun opportunity, but since it took us 2 hours to get there, I doubt we will return.

Michael Warnock

Great place. Been coming here since I was a kid over 30 years now. Not sure if its worth 45.00 admission. It ain't that great. They should definitely lower that price.

Diane Kramer

We've been coming here since my adult children were young and one of my favorite memories was sitting out in the lake in our boat at night watching the gondola wheel light show. We haven't been back for a couple of years and at our most recent visit I recall those same lights were largely in disrepair and disappointing. I brought my granddaughter and her friend for a visit last week and I was so excited to see the lights restored to their former glory with a spectacular light show! I particularly enjoyed the patriotic red white and blue display!

Zacco

If you're in, you're in. I'd suggest going on the free rides and eating before you get there if you want to save money. The haunted house is cheap though. 3$ per person

Gwen Clancy

Went here for the first time yesterday and was definitely disappointed. Started when I parked in the South lot and walked to the entrance to be told that we couldn't go in that way because nobody was at the booths. When I asked why there was a sign saying it was ok for pre purchased tickets, the employee said she didn't know why. So drove around to the North Lot only to find that we had to wait in the long and super slow line to get bracelets. Why do you need a bracelet? It's not like anyone was checking them. Rides were decent and had some thrill but they were only running like 1-2 cars for each one so the waits were to long. Staff was ok but definitely looked super bored and not really friendly; didn't do much to keep up the energy and excitement of people waiting in the lines. Also, none of the rides were accessible so if someone were to not be able to do the stairs, it would definitely be a waste of time/money for them. Overall, it was a fun day but I don't think I'd spend the time or money to return.

Soggy crunchy taco

I come back every year with my family and always have fun, now that there a ower that knows what hes doing everything is slowly being fixed, haunted house, lights, looks/paint jobs.

Selena Boyts

The rides and food were good, but they could put a new coat of paint on everything. Nearly everything looks dingy and dirty. Plus, the bathrooms are horrendous. Dirty floors, broken locks and no hand soap. They also need more lifeguards! They had to close many of the water rides in order to open the Lazy River.

Matt Kruit

If Cedar point is a bit much for you, this may be better. Cheaper, less people, no 1 hour lines. Family fun

Bridgette Torrence

Oh my where do I begin....What a difference a year will make ! The park was dirty and the employee's seemed less interested in being there 90% of them. Most of the rides were closed or didn't have operators at them. The beach area was closed nothing was mentioned about this upon purchasing because had it I would have changed days. I really can't believe this was the place I raved about just a yr ago.

Lesley Acrey

The water park closes at 6 and will be closed as of .next week during the week. Big bummer. Also the park closes at 8 now which sucked worse but it was a great time lots to do was what we needed love the ideal cabins perfect for our family.

danielle mckee

This place has been one of my favorites since I was a kid and now I enjoy taking MY kids there and they also love it just as much as I did when I was their age! We all have season passes and the beach is great. Love the lazy River tho!!

Tommy Wiseguy

Ive been going there most all of my 53 years and still is a great time with the family.

Jessica Pickell

Very fun, lots to do. Only complaint would be there wasn't much fun in the pool, but no place is perfect

Alison Sampley

I absolutely love Indiana Beach! We go several times a year. The lines are never long, it sits right on the lake and the view is beautiful! They have several rides and games for the whole family to enjoy. Highly recommend to anyone.

Stefanie Scott

This is a 40+ year family tradition! We have gone to Indiana Beach every year of my life! (I am47!) My grandparents worked the scrambler, other rides and some games there at IB. It was the biggest part of our entire summer. From a mom and dad of 3 daughters we have grown into a grandma and grandpa of 3 daughters, 2 sons in law and 6 amazing grandkids! We visit IB every year. And it is STILL the biggest and BEST part of our summer!!!

sarah jabaay

Massive improvement from the past!!! No complaints what so ever!!! Thank you for finally putting your money where your mouth is and improving!!!!! Already have passes for next year!!!!

A lot of people say that the place is awful and run down but I disagree, I absolutely love it there. Only about an hour and a half from home. The rides were fun and the operators were very kind and interactive. Probably my only complaint is that the workers for food looked very tired and overworked and I felt bad for them. Other than that, it's a nice park, it may be smaller but at least it's not as crowded as Cedar Point or Kings Island. I recommend if you are going with family or a group of friends.

Bob Dugan

It's pretty messed up when I purchased my cool cash cards they said they didn't expire. I called and was told the rules changed and I was out of luck because I didn't use it within a year. I had $120 on one card, and another card with another balance, just gone. Maybe you should have warned people or not change the rules after the purchase.

Evan Pastore

i cought someones phone on one of the rides and when i opened it up he was watching some videos on a site and he was watching children but other than that great place

Heather Low

The staff could use some friendly training. The security is a joke makes you a little on edge! Otherwise great park for the money! The waterpark is awesome, and most lifeguards are very nice. They will shut down if a storm is approaching but I appreciated the safety of it. Brings back memories. Very little wait time on most rides!

Sue Caponigro

The new taco place was awful! The tortillas were literally ice cold and the veggies outweigh the meat. Not recommended! Also I thought with this new Apex company there were going to be changes? Ok how about some more variety of rides and food choices would be nice but better yet ALL rides operating not as they say NOT AVAILABLE! I like Indiana Beach.... I'm a season pass holder but kind of board and disappointed! I sure hope they make some much needed changes and I'll consider being a pass holder next year!

Libby Chernouski

I enjoy Indiana Beach. It has fun rides and concessions. If you get the season pass, it is a good deal. Paying for a single entry can sometimes feel overpriced.

Amy Frederick-Cooper

I love the nostalgia! Don't change a thing! This place has so much to do, you can't do it all in a weekend!

Russ Lillig

Been 4 years the last time we went and where disappointed, we went Saturday 17. And noticed improvement. Still needs updating. we went ahead and payed for season passes and Will be back this season and next season. The concerts are a great venue and I hope to see more of them it's very enjoyable to see the park coming to life again.

Netta Godard

I had a blast only thing I wld change is the depth of the beach and the bottom was very slick

Roberto Sabas

The variety of fun rides and attractions included, food options, and friendly staff made this an enjoyable experience, a mini vacation before the busy fall schedule kicks in.

Steve W

A great small amusement park. Lots to do. Water park admission is included with season ticket. 5 stars as it was very clean. A variety of coasters, and other rides. For me this is 3 stars on size where 4 stars would be Kings Island, Cedar Point and 5 stars would be be Disney and Universal.

michael jordan

i always love going to the park. the staff is friendly and they have really cleaned this place up! this staff member in particular was awesome at making the experience a blast.

Connie OBrien

The boardwalk was perfect for the kids. Aged 7,8 and 14. The beach part on the other hand was terrible. It's not real sand. We rented a cabana and it was ingested with wasps. The kids couldn't play with the sand toys cause it wasn't sand and they wouldn't sit by the wasps. We went in the awesome lazy river one time and had to leave the area. What a waste of money on the cabana, only there for an hour. The wasps were out of control and no refunds given.

Cameron Nelson

I’ve been going here since I was like 1 years old, and I’m 19 now and I still come to this amazing place!!! If there’s anything i wanna complain about, it’s that, the haunted house should get new monsters in it, and also, there needs to be more new thrill rides

Laura Lechner

Rides were decent (except the old fashioned cars - don't go - soooooo difficult), but it was SO dirty. SO dirty. We got there first thing in the morning and the bathrooms were still filthy from the day (week? month?) before. We probably wouldn't go back again.

Matt Hlivjak

I love going here. I used to go every year as a kid. So I decided to take my girlfriend this year who is from Massachusetts and never got to experience it. She had a blast. Plus, now is the best time to go because you can get season passes for literally $2 more than the standard ticket price and you get to go the remainder of this year (2019) and next year. Plus you get free parking, 20% discount in IB shops, and access to the special events like Halloween and oktoberfest. The park has new owners but it's very easy to see that they're trying to push life back into this amazing Boardwalk. So go down to Indiana Beach with your family or friends on beautiful lake Shafer Indiana, proving once again that there IS more than corn in Indiana!

Matt W

We had a great time. Wonderful place for the family. Very clean and a great group of people working there.

Bobbi Smith

You could tell it is old but they are working on it. The supervisors are pretty friendly and reasonable well worth a trip... good value!!! Employees are rough around edges need personality training...variety of option from food and activities and everything was reasonably priced for an amusement park...season pass is 10 more then daily entry and premium cup well worth the money...

Meredith Stutzman

I would guess a quarter of the rides and much of the water park were not functioning. Many of the operating rides were running at half capacity - sending only a single cart up on the coasters or two of the cars on the tracks. Many of the lines took quite a while for this reason. I’m sure there is intentional buffering being done so patrons are forced to play the games. The prizes looked like they had literally been drug through the dust. There’s plenty of dust to go around - definitely no shortage of that. The restrooms either smelled of raw sewage due to clearly clogged piping or the area around the handles of the door was so gummy you could get a case of the pukes from them. The main restroom had debris in the drain that looked like a feminine hygiene product and wads of long hair. Sadly, this place is in need of a massive face lift. The glory days are clearly over. Lots of rust. Lots of debris around (especially trash in the parking lots). Lots of shuttered storefronts. The staff was all polite, however - which was good - despite the run down state of the park in general. Sad.

It would be 0 stars if I could. Our daughter took Our Grand Children there today. August 4th, 2019. There ages are 3.7 & 14. There were only 3 rides running in the children’s area. The girl that was running the boats was very rude and annoying. She was making loud noises bc the children were ringing the bells on the boat. Isn’t that what they are for?? Our Grand children were waiting to get on. She stopped the boats and told them they had to wait. She walked off and was messing around over at another ride. Finally she came back to start the ride for them and was still acting very rude. They had a good time just spending the day together even if the park was a bust! We went there a lot when we were younger and took our daughters at least 2 twice a month every season as the were growing up. We all loved the beach. Sad to say no one in our family will be returning. To charge full price tickets on a park running only a small amount of rides is ridiculous. Sad sad sad! They should be ashamed of themselves. They did enjoy the rooftop restaurant and said they had a great waitress. So kudos to her for being good at her job. Will not be spending money or recommending this place ever again.

Kali Oliver

Nice little amusement park for the whole family. For such a small place, they have something that everybody will enjoy. From the ferry ride to bumper cars to roller coasters that arent given nearly enough credit, you can spend an entire day here without getting bored. Ladies, they even stock free feminine products in the bathroom in case you have an unexpected emergency. My only complaint is that the picnic tables need wiped down more frequently and the toilet paper in the bathrooms need replaced more often.

Phillis Roldan

Had so much fun. Very entertaining. Lots if rides. Games. Great food. Live band. Had a blast. Cant wait to go again.

Christie Roberts

It was amazing n food was good the rides were awesome i would do this every wknd

Hammond2 Quick Auto

I was extremely disappointed in this amusement park this past weekend. Not only is it not free anymore to guests who just want to walk around, you can't even pay a discounted price to enter. Then, we have to pay $40 and once you get in, half of the rides are shut down or you have one person running 2 rides which literally takes forever! This was very disappointing and disheartening. Now I see why the locals are very upset. I was very let down by a place my family used to enjoy so much.

David Clapper

Average amusement park. Not too expensive, and decent deals for season pass holders. A few fun rides and a few classics, but no one of a kind ride and nothing too unique to make the park worth travelling to.

Ahmad Zaid

Super fun went for my sons birthday first time going there and my family had fun

Brian Vuich

First time here. Had a fun time with the family. Didn't get a chance to go in the water park area because my kids were busy on rides all day. The haunted house is like something straight out of my childhood and was a lot of fun.

James O'Connor

It's nostalgic and has tons of memories, but it's becoming too expensive for what you would pay at Great America or Holiday World . It has carnival level rides, non English speaking operators that could not help as a plate fell off the ceiling in the bumper cars. You can see in the employees attitude where the atmosphere is by far different now than years ago. There's no more ski show. I think with all the people that hold this place near and dear to our childhoods, I think we should all buy into this place and run it right.

TheOnly Hoodie

Amazing place to hang out with friends and family I go every year because it always gets better

Adrianna Mitchell

This year it seems to be under staffed, not all the the restaurants are open, the restaurants are constantly running out of things, staff have been very rude to customers also. There are some really sweet workers there & I can understand how stressful a job like that could be. The rides are ok, I personally don't like the roller coasters I feel like they are to rough on you. Overall you can enjoy yourself here & it's a nice little get away.

Zay

Eh. Wasn't a lot of variety here. Some of the rides were exciting, but a fair bit you could get at any amusement park ever. They do have some decent roller coasters, but I dont think I'd want to spend $40+per person for that. Ferris wheel was closed for whatever reason when we went this June. In fact, a surprising amount of rides were. It's also in the middle of nowhere, so prepare for a drive, unless you live out there.

Travis Reed

One of the dirtiest, understaffed, amusement parks I've ever seen. It was our 1 and only trip there. If there is rain anywhere near the park don't go. They will shut down the rides if there are storms within a 10 mile radius, so check weather before you go. Personally I'd take my money to a better quality park.

DaillestPapi

I Been 7 Times In A Row This Month....Nice Place To Go With Family....Just 4 A Lil Get Away

Cindy Crawford

Place is so run down.. I've been to town carnivals cleaner than this place. It's only saving grace was the water park, kids enjoyed it anyway. Food prices are outrageous $8 for 1 lemon aid.

Bloodmoon MoonWolf

I been to this place so many time of my life in over the years i been there. In I just love the rides in the waterpark. I just really like that place.

Patrina Porter

Indiana beach you have alot of things to do I highly recommend taking the boat ride. It is a 30 minute ride it is free and you can see all of the beautiful things surrounding Indiana beach.

Richie Scott

Been coming here for a few years, seems like every trip Indiana Beach Amusement Park is ran down a little more. Seems worse since a big company took over. We always bring our camper, stay in the same spot. The bath house had no hot water for 3 days. My son in law told them about it and was told to use another bath house. No soap in bath house nor did the hand dryer work. I told cleaning crew and was told hard to get maintenance to fix anything around here. As far as the park is concerned we bought our tickets on line for convenience and had to wait for almost an hour for a picture and card. Workers were very unfriendly and half couldn't speak English. Park wasn't the cleanest I've seen. This was our first trip with our grandson and maybe our last. Never hesitated before about coming to Indiana Beach Amusement Park, but we will be considering other options.

My Cheap guitar

It a lot more run down than years ago but it's still fun

Mark Liechty

Great time today! Cottage on lake is beautiful with an awesome view. Rides and people-watching on the Boardwalk. Couple of drinks and a fantastic band (Mr. Funnyman) at the Roof Garden Lounge. Finished the day with a campfire by the lake. This place is great!

Rebecca Sprunger

A lot of fun. Plenty of rides. Needs more staff to run the rides and operate food stands but a lot of fun.

Danielle Delikat

Been going here since I was young... still love it at 42! Perfect relaxing day back and forth from water park to rides all in same park. Not too big, Coasters are really great for a smaller park. Perfect for family because kids area has many rides even for toddlers. Really big splash pad/ kids area at the water park. Bought season tickets at beginning of season for the same price as a single day adult ticket...how could we pass it up! Camping then walking over to the park is pretty cool.

Holly S

It's not perfect but it's still a great buy and lots of fun. Have really enjoyed the summer concerts.

Drake Morris

The place has gone downhill (no pun intended). They were not selling tickets at the South Gate so even though we bought tickets online (way overpriced in my opinion) they would not let us in that gate. They were making people drive to the North Gate and pay for parking or take a trolley that came every 20 minutes that was standing room only and not wheelchair or stroller friendly. The children’s rides were on rotation so only a couple were open at a time then they would rotate employees to other rides. Multiple rides were not open and a few of the food areas were closed down. The classic taco shop is no longer in the park so there is really no good food options. We had to wait in line 30 minutes just to get in the park even though we had already bought tickets online. They no longer do live shows. There are too many options in the area to spend that much on tickets here. The only reason I’m not giving 1 star is because my 2 year old loves the rides and the employees were nice.

Dan Wynne

I bought season tickets for my wife and I and two friends. It was only a 180.00 bucks. It's totally worth it. Not much for toddler s but they do have a kiddy park. The height for the rides is 48 inches

Colin Stastny

It was really good, kinda dirty though. Been going for 9 years and I still love it. Kinda sad they took down my favorite ride, the Galaxy. Some rides never have anyone running it, staff shortage. But overall good experience, at least for me.

GL Josh

Nice family amusement park. Nowhere near a Six Flags in rides or price but a good place for traveling Carnival style rides and a few coasters.

PineappleMan 884

It was fun until one of the works ease dropped on our conversation and the play cards keep ripping me off one multiple trips there but besides that it was great

Cindie Pieracci

Fun, everything looks old and rundown some of the rides were closed due to understaffed. Food was ok. I'll come back

John F. Bramfeld

Old fashioned charm and great rides. Mostly minimal waiting, at least on weekdays when we go. We took our kids, and now our kids bring their kids.

Nicholas19 oleksiak

I had the best time at Indiana beach we did lots of things and we all had a great time as a family and I'm really glad we went ,so i hope we can do something like this again!

Jessica Fields

It's awesome! Great service, short lines, water park, and a variety of rides.

Linda Trickle

Went there with my grandparents and then my parents.3,years ago took great grand kids. Now hoping go back this year hot 3great grand kids.Fun with games and swimming and rides plus motel there close.

jeremy hefner

It's an alright place. Fun. Stayed at the campground. A decent place.

susan gerber

First time going was really fun but the water park closes at 6pm, so never go to go to water park.

Bobbie Lilly

My one and only experience at Indiana Beach took place on July 13, 2019. My husband and I went because he had been there 5 years ago. He said it has gone downhill big time. We rode a few rides and then went to water park. The changing rooms are up stairs to just have to walk down stairs to get to beach area. We walked into the lake which I would assume was a normal swimming lake...only to walk on very slippery algae covered cement. The water was never up past my hips. Then we went to the lazy river to only find no tubes and at least half the people were walking around it. Kids were horseplaying, swimming, walking against the current. Lifeguards were not friendly when kids asked where tubes were and did nothing about the rough play and swimming. Definitely not a lazy relaxing river to me. Needless to say I will pay the money and actually go to Kalahari because at least there it's clean and safe.

Brian Snell bsnell

I am biased since they no longer allow boats. It used to be a great family place now it's just about the money. Odd they are making less than they did before they went corporate.

TurboDT BMX

Eveyone there is nice, and there are a lot of things to do. The only problem is everything is old and run down. They need to update everything. They also charge to much money for food and drinks. The food is ok, it's nothing special and they want to charge you top dollar for it. That's not right!

Cynthia Zumwalt

Small but great place to get away close to home .camp ground is ok .bathrooms up by game room not so good not clean at all .you could smell the out houses realy bad up near check in .but camping area was nice .

John Y. Chen

Great amusement park full of intertwining roller coasters. Has plenty of one of a kind rides in a scenic lake location

Kevan Elliott

It's still a decent small amusement park. The two star ding is for two reasons. The bathrooms are awful. They are the worst most disgusting bathrooms I've seen at any amusement park hands down. The second ding against them is the insane line to get your season pass. You order it online, get into a long that took over an hour to get through just to enter the park. And why? Because they want to take your picture and put it on the card. A picture where I can still wear my hat and shades and there's a shadow. Literally any middle-aged white Male could use my pass with ease. Please stop with the pointless picture and let people into your park. I prepaid for a season pass to make things easier and instead waiting outside for over an hour with a 7 year old. Terrible way to start an experience. And for that I'm removing one more star because now that I've tapped it out I am annoyed again. Fix. It.

Kevin Foster

Skyroom restaurant was the worst meal I've had since I was forced to endure a canal excursion in Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 1986. Over thirty years to make the bottom of my list. That is amazing. One might think a boardwalk, amusement park resort might have a decent restaurant for a family to enjoy and there might be one. But this ain't it. You would be better off noodling a carp off the dock and eating it raw. Trust me DO NOT GO HERE. You've been warned.

margaret fittante

Been coming for years with my kids as a family vacation cause there is something for everyone to do here.
