Held two birthday parties here this year. I wish they had some indoor attractions other than the games and tot play area because when a kids birthday party is in the middle of the winter all the outdoor attractions are closed they need to offer more coins for birthdays parties during the winter since free wristbands don't mean anything when there are no attractions to use. Other than that the staff are nice and do their jobs:) would recommend but only not for a winter month birthday. Unless your fine with just games and the indoor tot area. Also be aware to drive the regular go carts by themselves they have to have a license! Also you have to be 18 or older to drive anyone under 18 in a go cart! They do have kiddie go carts! They do allow an adult in the cart for free if the child has a wristband.

The place is clean, and the employees where nice. I wasn't sure where to begin, but they gave us guidance to get us going. We didn't get to explore the rides due to lack of time, but from passing near them, they look in good order. We did enjoy the indoor arcade! Game pricing is moderate. They use a card that you full up with credits; $1 = 100 credits, a game can be from 30-150 credits. I did like that you can use the credits to purchase rounds of golf, go-karts, etc for 550 credits versus having to get back into a line to buy a ticket. The special we used today was the $50 = 5,000 credits, then a bonus amount of 1,000 credits were added, giving us 6,000 credits for $50. There are other amounts that get bonus credits, I think it started off at $20 thru $100 purchases. There's a good assortment on the food menu, with sitting space inside to eat in the AC/heat.

Glazed Entity

Great times, but the staff needs to work on making customers feel invited. The problem I faced was that the staff was very short in communication. They often had this glazed look in their eyes. Seems robotic in nature like they hate being there. Maybe if you had a change of staff that invited customers in, and made everyone feel comfortable. Also don't play the games there. I won't get any tickets because they never refill the games so that when you play, you get tickets to use for prize items. I wasted $60 on games and got nothing. If the staff that they hired was it tentative to customers they would know all of these things already.

Greatimes is a great place if your looking for some fun! The pizza is amazing and not too greasy!! The staff is super nice and fun! The games are high quality, prices are great, go karts are fast, and water boats are great! Mini golf is included too!

We went here in February so only played inside. They have a lot outside so can't wait to come back in the summer to experience everything. The inside play place is great for the kids and to help tire them out. They have a good selection of arcade games to play and the tickets are auto loaded to your card so no need to count them. They also sell pizza. The price isn't terrible, but you have to buy two at a time. They do sell it by the slice as well. We didn't have any but it looked decent. Overall worth a trip and your kids will have fun.

Bethany Janis and the rest of the crew went above and beyond for the Mt Vernon Marching Band of 60+ students plus parents. The guy serving pizza and drinks (sorry didn't catch his name) was very helpfull and nice and ended up giving us pizza to take with us. We can't say enough nice things about this place and staff. We will definitely be back!

Pretty cool place. I will say, theres alot going on and alot of kids unsupervised. But theres alot of games, a pretty cool claw machine upstairs where you can win large bouncy balls! They have snacks and lockers for your personal belongings, and go karts and bumper rides. It's a good time lol

Wonderful experience for my sons 12th Birthday Party. I would recommend to a friend. Our host was super friendly and helpful. And the prices were very reasonable. Kids had a BLAST! Plan to go back just to have a family fun night.

Had fun with my son and nephew they didnt want to stop playing. The only comment i have to make is make the gamss cheaper in credits and easier to win tickets. You cant ever get much with what tickets you win even though u may have spent a lot of money to play those games. Granted thats really what its all about making sure the kids enjoyed themselves.

Decent place to take kids. The only complaint I have is that they only let a very small group of people go at a time on the go karts and bumper boats so the line takes a while to get through. I can't help but wonder if they are doing that on purpose because people are buying the 3 hour unlimited wrist bands, so you don't get much use out of it. You spend a large chunk of that time waiting in line. It's still a decent value though, just wish they would fix this one issue, then it would really be worth it. The indoor play area is pretty nice (make sure you take socks or they will make you buy a pair).

I brought my two kids here last week and we had a BLAST! My youngest was able to do their kiddie karts, which he loved since he was too little to ride the big gokarts. They had half price minigolf which was an awesome deal and we loved it. The whole place was overall very clean! I was truly impressed. The staff was amazing and very helpful! Definitely recommend Greatimes!

Great and cheap if you have toddlers! The indoor place play is great. 3 and under is free! 5 plus is only $5.50. I spent $15 total for the play place and arcade games. We were there for about 3 hours!

Definitely not a bad spot if you have kids. We are childless but were in the area killing time. The arcade is good and you can have a fun time, it is mostly gambling type games or games for tickets, very little to actually play. A little pricey, too. Overall not a bad experience. Better suited for people with children.

Loved this place. We stopped here as a break for the kids on a road trip. There was a problem with one game but the staff quickly helped and gave us some extra credits. Food was good and everyone was very helpful. This will be a regular stop for us when we travel to visit family.

This place is far from a great time. Its WAY over priced. Games dont work properly. You spend more time trying to find someone to fix your problems yes thats plural cause you will have more than one. Makes enjoying wasting a fortune impossible. And the games cost so much to play for $20 you may get to play 5 or 6 games and with little to nothing for your reward (tickets). To maybe get a dollar store toy if your lucky enough. Better off throwing your money in the trash.

We bought one card for our family of three, put $20 on it, and played plenty of games! Great couple of hours spending family time together.

Long waits on a not too busy day for outside activities. Purchased 3hr unlimited wrist tags on 9/2/18. 1hr wait for bumper boats, 1hr 10 min wait for a single go cart. Mini golf is self serve an was decent, 2 courses. Inside play area was most fun for 9&6 year old. All rides require a pass also indoor play area. The time there was not very busy but very slow line movement.

Seems like a nice set up but maybe you should call ahead to see if all the outdoor attractions are open prior to driving there and finding out otherwise. With a sunny sky and only 15% chance of rain, the go cart tracks were supposedly shut down for the next 3 hours due to the prospect of rain. Seemed odd and was disappointing nonetheless.

I used to love this place . Now they changed it up to the worse. Who told them to change all their machines to points instead of tokens ? If something ain’t broke why change it. They also took out most of their fun games. Now I got worse for my money. I used to come here and get 90 tokens for $20 and leave with at least 1100 tickets. Now I’d be lucky if I left with 400 from the way the games setup. I liked the old inexpensive way to win and have fun here. I’m sorry but you lost me as a customer.

Had a birthday party here. First time I've been in there in 20 years probably. It hasn't changed much, but is well maintained and staff does a good job. The new indoor climbing and play area I great, but the "toddler area" they mention on the website is limited to a 4 foot by 3 foot area... yeah, not gonna work for most tosdlers.

The building was incredibly clean which is always a plus. The indoor play place is perfect for most 3 year and up kids. As with any arcade style business, the games can seem expensive but that is usually because the kids move from game to game so quickly. My kids were helped by Paige and she was very sweet to them on the way in and out. It helped me out since my daughter can be a little timid if she's not comfortable. They had a blast.

Bumper boats and go karts were all fun. They even have small go karts for the little kids. There are height requirements for the rides. Fairly large 2 story arcade. Mini golf was also nice. Play center inside entertained my daughter as well. Can get busy and lines can get long at times. The squirt guns built into the bumper boats is fun, but know you will get squirted.

Fun fun fun with the family on Father's Day. We played putt putt, drive the cars and played the games as well as ate the good pizza. We all were tired when leaving this place. Expect to have a good time for a cheap price. The staff were very nice and friendly. We will be going back to this place.

We had issues with one of the kids' card not functioning leaving him with less credits amd no tickets.I told an employee and his team leader was on it IMMEDIATELY,making it right . I will give credit to ALL employees,because they made it right with the card. The others were helpful,and remained consistently upbeat doing a job that I truly think would drive me insane. I witnessed so many people trying to scam the machines even teaching their little kids how, also. Thanks Team GT! The go carts were especially fun for the kids. Great way to celebrate my granddaughters 8th birthday(she was visiting from Iowa, and her mommy died in 2018.) I give outstanding reviews when they are worthy. I have NO affiliation woth the company or it's employees whatsoever.

This place is super fun! I had my son's birthday parties here when he was a kid - 2000-2005 or so. Of course a lot has changed since then but some is the same, like the great service! The staff takes really good care of the people having parties. You really get your money's worth. There's so much for everyone of all ages to do. It's so much fun! I would really recommend coming here for birthday parties. The birthday child gets well taken care of. Like I said my son chose this place for several years in a row to have his birthday parties and that was several years ago and it's even better now!

Started off great got food but after that got horrible. Was about to spend several hundreds on my two 6 yr olds and 3 year old heights are 44inches and 39 inches. Despite what there website states my 39 inch son wasn't going to be allowed to ride there kiddie carts that state 56" and under. They weren't going to allow my girls to ride with licensed adult even though they where 44 inches. This place is children ran by children wouldn't recommend wasting your money

A decent selection of games and attractions. Some are slightly expensive but others not as much. You can ride go carts, play putput, bumper boats, jungle gym, or arcade. The kids always have a blast when we go. They also offer drinks and snacks, our favorite is the pizza. It can get a little crowded but the wait time is never much. There is tons of parking and also a bowling alley next door. It's a great spot to unwind if you're in town visiting and need to let the kids burn energy. I should also note the arcade is done with the refillable cards and points rather than coins and tickets. They've got a pretty nice selection of prizes, too.

Came last week, and brought tokens and old tickets to play, but they changed to cards! I thought I would be sol, but they still take the tickets and tokens! I thought that was great business. Their arcade was great! they had a lot of new games, and it was very cleaned. Everything was decently priced. Overall, highly recommend !

This place is great, and I had a good experience, except if you are going here to play PUTT PUTT, just don’t bother. The courses are terrible. To start with they don’t have a place for you to sit your ball when you are trying to putt it. The courses are so uneven you put your ball down and it rolls away from where you set it. There are various areas in the courses where you ball can roll and get stuck, like between bricks that are outlining the course and the WORST part that drove me crazy is the course was so uneven that no matter where you hit the ball, they would all land in the same spot. There was three of us and this happen over and over again. I was over it and really didn’t enjoy the game after that. It was ridiculous. I just think they should've taken better care of their courses and it wouldn’t be this way.

My family and I have been to Great Times in the past but it had been awhile. We went last week and had a wonderful time. Although I like the ticket and token system better, the cards are OK. The staff was awesome and helpful and even quickly defused what could have become a situation in a professional manner. The pizza was great!! We WILL return to Great Times!

This was the second time I have been here. I consulted their website and later asked while purchasing the wrist bands and the cards for the arcade games, about the special deal price for pizza and drinks I saw on the site. The food deal is only on Sunday, I explained that I couldn't tell for sure and they were very nice about it and said they would let the people in charge of that know to improve that issue. The wrist bands are primarily for outdoor activities, bumper boats several go cart tracks, and mini golf. Plenty of places for the adults to have a clear view. The staff is friendly and take it seriously, like stopping the racers so that they can help anyone who has a wreck, for safety reasons. We had a lightning, thunder, and rain delay. The staff put the safety of the patrons first and politely explained the situation. I appreciate the way that they handle it. The prices are quite reasonable. I will definitely be taking the kids there again.
