You wait in line for 3 hours for a 15 minute walk through. Plenty of dead zones where their is no workers. Majority of the workers were just saying "don't trust the doctor!" And other non-sense and don't really focus on trying to scare you. It wasn't bad, but definitely not the best in the nation.

Fear Fair has always been a hit since I can remember! All of the actors and staff work so hard to make it an enjoyable time for guests. Here recently it’s faced some repercussions from Google reviews, Facebook reviews, rude customers, etc., but that’s only due to lack of maturity and an understanding of what Fear Fair is all about! It’s a haunted house, so they stop at nothing to SCARE you — and they do a damn good job! Staff goes out of their way to make the customers feel like they belong somewhere, especially in a small town like Seymour, Indiana. They recently did their annual Haunters Against Hate event night, celebrating LGBTQ+ of course, and that was such a heartwarming experience for not only me, but anyone else who needs a place to be entertained safely. Basically, it’s incredible. Fear Fair will always be a tradition for me: The waiting, the anxiety, the scares, all of it amazing! 15/10 skulls.

Fear Fair is now unfortunately a shadow of its once incredible former self. What used to be a unique haunted attraction containing several classic horror movie scenes with plenty of immersion and passionate actors has been renovated containing it's own lack-luster horror experience. All horror movie elements have been removed as of this season and replaced with elements that are cliche and at best slightly startling. There were far too few actors for the setup, and the "Extra Fear" admission was not scary whatsoever. The only thing Fear Fair has going for it now are the next level animatronics and the good cause behind the organization. It's a shame to see one of the greatest haunted attractions in the Tri-State area become a generic and overrated haunted attraction.

Lines can be long, and fast passes are definitely worth it. The animatronics are the best I have ever seen, and sometimes you will be amazed as to how much work they put into the scares. Definitely advise not getting a glow stick, because it's a whole different experience, but if you don't want to be touched, that's fine. My favorite parts are when the actors pick you up and take you somewhere, or when they pin you up against the wall or steal you and try to sell you back to the other members of the group. The best haunted house I have ever been to. 5 out of 5.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! Drove an hour from Louisville for nothing. Very few actors, most didn’t even have on makeup or masks. They could put this haunt at the Louisville Zoo “Not So Scary Halloween Party”. The so called “Slash Pass” skip the line was still an hour wait but we weren’t informed until we got to the front of the line that we had to go to Will Call for the real tickets that was another hour wait! Also weren’t informed the group size allowed in at once is 7 max so they split up our group of 9. To top it off in the Will Call line my sister tripped and fell on a big rock/glass in the gravel and sliced her hand open. They had a very generic first aid kit and would not even give us a refund! We were told the best they could do was walk us back to the front of the line to go into the attraction when she was in pain and her hand was still bleeding! My 1 star rating is only for the DJ outside entertaining the line if it hadn’t been for that it would get 0 stars.

One of the worst haunted houses I've ever been to. Bad props and the actors were bad. I'd never drive down there again. Update in response to owner: I don't work for any haunted attraction. I drove down from Indianapolis with 5 other people because I got a Groupon. It wouldn't have been worth the gas money if the haunt was free. It was laughable at best with the kid dressed in orange jumpsuit talking like he was prison gay.

Definitely worth the money and the wait. Be ready to wait in line and bring warm clothes. One of busiest nights I've been to. Great scenes, makeup, and actors. This is best haunted house with the best details. They are passionate for what they do and bring the best that is possibly offered. Don't listen to any of the one star reviews. They either don’t know how to have fun or are there for perfection. Be ready to get scared and make sure to get a glow stick at the box office for the extra fear!

Fead Fair is such an amazing haunted attraction ! There are so many fun, outgoing, caring actors & actresses that work there who work so hard to make fear fair what it is today ! The props they use and the details in each scene make it so much better !!! The make up and costumes are spot on and make it feel so real !!! It's a great experience to go through if you love being scared I've gone through about a total of 9 times in the past few months with friends or by myself. Biggest thing I have a problem with but I don't think is that big of a deal, is when it's winter and the lines are long and its cold but the haunt makes up for it. Truly a great experience and I love going in and seeing that the actors recognize me from another night and make the experience better as they know what's it takes to scare you and how to make the haunt better. I see reviews of people saying their experience was ruined by childish groups or people and I feel bad because im one of those people that messes with the actors to get or makes fun jokes with them to see can I get them to break character and it never works because all the actors put so much effort into their characters that they change who they are entirely that it's scary! (pun intended) Fear fair is all in all a great experience and love that they change it up from time to time I hope that they can keep doing what their doing with the same quality that they have given over the years.

When you walk up to a place planning to spend your money on entertainment and a 2nd floor door opens to reveal laser lights, foggers, and a DJ booth you pretty much tell them to take your money, all of it. And it's the owner who is laying down the crowd entertainment. That's someone who really cares about every aspect of crowd entertainment. The scenery throughout the haunt is movie quality and full of surprises for every haunted house goer. Some of the friendliest and closest staff I've encountered in my own haunt adventures. It's definitely a must add to your must visit haunt list.

Honestly I wasnt very scared I laughed about it most of the time at the end though there is this guy with a chain saw and although it doesnt have the blade, when he chases you and puts it up against your back you'll definitely wanna run because of the vibration its really cool I suggest you go check it out.

My wife and I drove from Indianapolis to go shoot some zombies, 2 minutes into the haunted house, my wifes gun stopped working, when we arrived to the half way point where they swap out your gun for one with a full clip, they ran out of working guns and said to have the group in front of us kill the zombies for us..... We didn't make that drive for people to shoot zombies for us, so after refusing to continue the tour for 10 mins, they were able to talk someone into giving up their gun and walk through unarmed.

We drove an hour to get to this attraction last night, got in the house at about 11. We even paid extra for the fast pass! I don't know if there wasn't that many people working or what but hardly any actors were in the rooms. It started pretty cool in the elevator, but after that it was dead. The whole reason we picked this place was because of all the rave reviews. I am beginning to wonder how legit they are. The props and details of the house were awesome, the actors were just MIA. We eventually caught up with people we didn't know in front of us, made it even worse. We were disappointed, we felt like we could have went to one that was closer in Indy and had a better experience. There was a lot of potential, just no actors taking advantage of it. The owners should maybe look into sending someone through it without telling the actors and see what their review is.

Bought tickets and a slash pass to avoid lines for the 10-20 date. Got there went to the booth to redeem my online ticket purchase. The slash pass line was a two hour wait. It was 35 degrees and the wind was unreal. Waited for 20 minutes and said screw it. Drove 90 minutes because of the reviews. Let’s just say that’s 70$ and gas down the drain. If you consider going don’t waste the extra money on the Slash pass as it’s entirely useless. Clearly they don’t limit how many can purchase the skip the line pass. I can deal with a 20-30 minute wait even with the pass. Being in a 300-500 deep line. Not so much.

The Good that Fear Fair does in this county and surrounding county's. Speaks volumes for any group. From Volunteer Fire Fighters, Police Officers and Equipment, I know they've done coats for kids, and they've also done shoes for kids and I could go on and on. There's also money handed out to different people around the community that are in a very much-needed position for health you know fire and homes or whatever it might be, let's not broadcasted for these people's privacy. Super impressed by the people at Fear Fair.

Visit on 10/8/16. About a 4-430 hour wait to get into the attraction. No bathroom, only port a pots which appeared to have not been cleaned for a couple of weekends. Entertainment was OK at best. Overall not worth my time.

I went to this haunted house a few years back when visiting a friend. I was extremely impressed! I have not been scared at a haunted house since I was 12. This one actually gave me goosebumps... That says a lot! Coming down from Kent Ohio on a road trip and bringing a bunch of friends with me. I want to get those goosebumps back. Wish Ohio had something like this! Well done!

Don't let the long lines fool you! Plan to spend at least 1.5 - 2 hours in line (even with the $5.00 extra fast-pass). In the end, it was well worth the 3 hour drive from northern Indiana. The actors had amazing costumes and makeup, and the fear was real! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great haunted house! Can't wait to come back next year.

The props and costumes are stellar. If you pay attention in the scenes, enjoy the scares and take a moment to look at all of the details. It makes it creepier knowing how much thought has gone into each scene- from the "gifts" on the alter to the weapons in the cyborg scene. I thoroughly enjoyed the various rooms and the actor cohesion in delivering on point scares and unique characters. I don't know why other reviewers are wanting movie scenes- I can rent a movie for that. Give me the dark depths of the creator's mind with original characters. Eliza Proctor and Peaches...you tops!

The best haunt in indiana by far. My wife and I have been to a lot of haunts from muncie, Anderson, Louisville and even into Ohio. I am a very hard person to get to jump from scares but this place did it. The actors stayed in character the entire time. This is a must. Hint: for a more intense time get the touch haunt, we did. Great job by Fear Fair.

We drove a 1 hr and 45mins to get to thia advertised as the scariest haunted house in indiana and im so disappointes very few actors the animatronics i will say where pretty cool but we even went with the option where the actora can touch ans it was not scary was not impressed at all and to apend 140.00 for the 4 of us could of juat stayed in town and went to one of the ones in town and i just feel that thw rating od the scariest haunted house ia no way true

Great Haunted House! They have great customer service. Concessions, bull rides, and outside entertainment. Take your picture before you go in or use their photo booth! The actors go above and beyond to make sure you get your money's worth. A lot of time and effort has been put in this haunt. With amazing makeups, props and scenes. So you figured it's 2018 I haven't been to a hunted house in a while so you wanna go to one so you search on Facebook and find a hunted house trailer called fear fair and you send the trailer to your group of friends and show them that it's looks scary cause of some of the silent hill preps and you tell your group to purchase the extra fear slash pass so you all wouldn't have to wait in line that long so you go online and find out that they even have a buried alive skit too so you think this is going to be really fun and scary even your friends say it looks scary because of the trailer so you go and only find out that you are not the only group in the world that bought slash passes but that almost everyone that came also bought the slash passes and that the general pass line is actually going more faster then the slash pass line but you think to yourself it's ok cause this DJ is rocking the music outside so you wait almost an hour to go in ...out comes some guy with black paint around his eyes and a long beard touching people (only girls) in line in a really weird way after he leaves and it's almost time to go in you are really excited because all this music is going on then when they let you and your group in there is another line in which you wait another 15 mins because they MAKE you take pictures after that there is just a 10 minute walk thru in the hunted house after you were told that is was going to be a 40 minutes walk during the first thing before you get on an elevator one of the guy tries to make you do jumping jacks also there is a jail skit were it's suppose to be scary but it comes off kinda Gay a really big guy askes you to go in a shower with him and there is another guy laying on the bed with his shirt tuck like a female very weird after that 10 mins walk you are done so that was my 35 dollars worth really so ok now since I got that out the way let's go see how scary the buried alive set is since you paid 5 dollars for you walk over there just to find out it's just a casket that bounce side to side for 1 minute once you are out of there you feel very stupid that you did all of this for no reason and wish you could've went some where different with more exciting attractions so you like at least I can get my pictures to find out you have to pay for those too after you pay for those they give you a free ticket to go to the buried alive set (which you already did) only to find out you were supposed to get a free one anyways and didn't have to pay for one online... so Scary no fun not even a kinda, unless you like music outside ...also there was a time where I thought my group wasn't even going to the hunted house and I had already bought my tickets online I tried getting my refund by emailing ,calling and texting them on Facebook messenger no one responded back but then my group changed their mind again so when I told them nevermind and that I was coming they respond back with in 30 seconds no lie 30 actual seconds saying that's great to hear I wish I could attach pictures to this review so make sure you REALLY going cause refunds will not happen for you there is no silent hill and most times there were places where you thought someone was going to pop out and nothing happened there are not a lot of actors there so you are just walking... SO HAVE THE MOST FUN OUTSIDE CAUSE INSIDE THERE ISN'T

If you want to go to this and get through the attraction in less than 4 hours, buy the slash pass. While not particularly scary, with a fair amount of actors, it is laid out pretty extensively. Would not do again nor recommend.

It is nothing like what is shown in the video. At least this year. We went on the 13th and half of the set was empty. We started scaring each other because we got bored. Waste of a LOT of money.

The best haunted house I've ever been to, I'm telling ya that. I've been going here since I was 12 years old, but oh boy it's a scary one. But, why don't you guys come on down and visit Fear Fair- Indiana's Scariest Haunted House. $20 for admission, $25 for fast past(cut your wait time in half). It's worth it!

Best haunted house I've been to. I wouldn't suggest taking smaller children because they do put on a good show! They do offer a walk thru with lights on and no actors that was perfect for my smaller kids. It did still give them a scare because the sets are pretty scary alone.

My first time ever going. If You're planning to go I'd definitely get the extra fear. Thats where they can touch you or pull you away from your group. It was a fun experience for sure will be going back. The prices aren't bad either

As a fellow haunted house actor I greatly enjoyed walking through and seeing all the work put into the set design. It was also incredible to see the energy from the actors even out of season. Also, as I was wearing my haunt's hoodie (Nightmare Forest - Brandenburg, KY) they let me borrow a chainsaw and chase my friends. This is an awesome haunt.

Great haunted house. Very elaborate & we'll put together. If you don't mind waiting in lines. Yes that's lines plural. Line up to get tickets, then wait in the long line outside. Then hooray finally in ...to wait in another line for a picture, then finally in! ...to wait in the next line. About 2 hours of waiting for a 20 minute walk through a really cool haunted house!

out of all the haunts I've been to this by far stands in my top 3. the actors are absolutely fantastic. i would definitely take a break from working hshl again and make another trip. keep rocking it sister haunt.
