We had the place to ourselves on Labor day. Quick to get on slides. I enjoyed that they had something for everyone, and all ages. We took our cooler in with us and had meal coupons to use in the park on our tickets as well. Great place. Employees very friendly. Will return

Came here for the first time on Sunday and my family and I had a blast! My son just turned 5 and was able to ride most of the water slides with me, except for the body slides and the ones with the mat. They actually suspended operation of the slides a couple of hours before they closed because of lightning being too close and gave everyone hospitality passes to come back another day after 2pm and stay until close! I thought this was great and will be making the hour drive to come back. :)

Nice assortment of slides. The very steep dragon one will hurt your back a bit but is fun. Water in showers are ice cold. No curtains. Not everyone wants to be seen naked when showering especially kids. Really nice that you can bring in your own food and drink. You can rent a tube for the wave pool for 5$.

Lots of fun. Our whole family enjoyed this water park. The lines moved pretty quick for such a busy day. Take some sort of flip flops or foot wear that you wouldn’t mind loosing so you can walk in the pavement, it’s stupid hot. Most of the staff was very friendly but there were a few that just seemed like they hated their jobs. Overall, we would definitely go again.

Oh the map number 25 the big tower with the big bucket theirs a bridge u get across to get to the blue and green slide. When u cross the bridge theirs a bucket where u can dump it on people but it's shutoff for some resson.

It was our first time taking our kids. A nice place to go for a family outing! I suggest packing lunches and drinks because with the attractions you get hungry and thirsty. They do allow coolers. It was busy today and we were still able to get through all the attractions in a decent time. If you are thinking of attending I'd say go for it!

It wasnt overly busy. The employees we intetacted with were kind and attentive. The lifeguard at the kids area slide bottom was fast grabbing my son when he went under water at the bottom. It was overall a very enjoyable day.

The waterpark is pretty fun. My only complaint is that some of the lifeguards are cocky and think they're so cool because they're a lifeguard but some of them are pretty cool and chill.

The lines just need to be better managed. People dont care about how long you've waited for a tube. Gotta be cut throat if you want to do things. Fun times were still had! Great for the family.

Our group had a great time. We received a discount because we were from indiana, and another because I was a veteran. We easily saved $50. Facilities are clean, and safety is clearly a priority, as there is staff everywhere. Talk about great customer service. We will definitely be back.

This park is large compared to many and offers a nice selection of rides and activities. Very clean. Helpful and friendly staff. Plenty of picnic areas and chairs. Tip: if you aren't a regular, bring water shoes! The pavement can be so hot it will damage your feet. Water shoes will level up your experience.

We had a great time visiting this park, especially on a really hot day. We arrived at 10 when the park opened and were able to find a picnic table in the shade near the kids area. There were plenty of kid friendly places for us to play--2 water playground areas and the wave pool. Our older kids loved the slides. The bathrooms could have been cleaned more frequently and the park could use some paint and updating, but other than that it was worth the visit.

This is a fun place. We drove about 2 hours to get here, it was worth it for a full day trip. A lot of people mentioned that they go here from Chicago to South Bend, and places in between. The only downside we had was going after the college help started school, so about half the park was closed due to no operators... so beware if you attend at the end of the season. They still had some fun slides, and the wave pool was a big hit. It lacks a lot of signage, so check it out ahead of time, or attempt to find a map. I felt it was very difficult to identify what was open, or where things were. So do your research ahead of time with your kids so you know what rides you want to do. I definitely want to visit next year when the whole place is open. There was plenty of seating, chairs, and grassy areas to sit. As a bonus, they let you bring in your own food. Just no glass.

The water could use some cleaning. It was cloudy and I could smell urine...I'd rather smell chlorine. There were clumps of hair and other debris. The wave pool could use some more supervision. A girl nearly drowned while I was there and the lifeguard was very much doing their job, but was focused on some kids on the ladder rather than this poor girl who needed help. (I definitely don't blame the lifeguard at all, they have a lot of people to keep an eye on) That being said, I did have a fun time and would return. Reply: My name is Julia, not Julie. And I'm not going to argue. People will visit and form their own opinions, but this was my experience. Whoever runs this social media needs some training in customer service. Good day. One star for the "ridiculous" reply from the owner.

We had a blast coming to Deep River! I haven’t been back there in almost 20 years but it’s still just as fun. The ground was HOT today but I learned to bring some water shoes for next time. We were able to bring in lunch and snacks which was awesome too. The kids had a great time as did the adults :)

I wish that no stars was an option. I don't make negative reviews but people need to know about this place. We took our kids and bought the SPLASHtastic Family Saver Package. This included unlimited soft drinks and Dippin' Dots. To get your unlimited refill 16oz cup filled you will have to stand in line for 20+ minutes (in full sun). When you get to the front and finally get your drink you have to stand in a different long line to get the Dippin' Dots. The lines were so bad that the kids never even used their cups. The facility in general is in massive disrepair. In the kids area large chunks of concrete are actually breaking off the wall. My teenage son cut his foot really bad from screw on the drain in the wave pool. When he told the staff they just dismissed it as no big deal. All the attractions were so packed that all you do is stand in line. It was a 30 minute wait to get in the lazy river for a single lap. The only explanation for so many positive reviews is that people obviously don't know what a nice water park is like.

Dispite it being a bit chilly.. All the staff was wonderful. The life guards were serious about their job and quick to react. Hopefully we will be able to find a not so hot..slightly cool.. Slow park day in the future to return

There is so much to do here! The have so many different slide options, multiple areas for small children, a large wave pool, and 2 lazy rivers. The food prices are reasonable and they have a decent variety. Coolers are allowed if you prefer to bring your own food. The only con I have is the walking surface in parts of the park. Some of the slides have very rough concrete when walking up the steps. My feet were quite tender after awhile. Overall a great place to spend some time with your family.

Love love love this place! Went for my nieces birthday party. They have several areas for younger children to play in which is great for my older daughter who has a fear of heights but they also have some amazing lazing rivers which is great for family time when the kid who love heights and crazy rides and the one who doesnt want to meet up. Outside food can be brought in (great for a birthday party) and it's not a bad price for an all day water park ! Plan on going again this summer!

You dont have to use the lockers, you can bring your own coolers with you as long as you dont bring anything made of glass. It's free seating, so its 1st come, 1st serve as far as that's concerned. It's a little pricey, but if you pay in advance, (on-line), its cheaper than gate prices. They have a decent variety of fast foods and a good price. Indiana police are stationed at the front entrance, so its VERY secure, and parking is also free and 1st come, 1st serve.

I already don’t like this place. Buy tickets on line then wait 30 minutes to get a pass. Terminally stupid! Also be aware that if there is alcohol in your cooler you are not allowed to take it back to the car. It’s confiscated - stolen essentially as you know where it’ll end up. First and last time.

It started off okay, then it went downhill faster than Aunt Macy and Auntie Smith on Thanksgiving. We went into the gift shop to get some sunscreen and it was $12. Then we started walking around and noticed half the Park was closed and there was food and trash everywhere. The food was over expensive and absolutely terrible. The buns were stale and the cheese felt like plastic. Worst experience in entertainment of my life.

Kids and adults we had a great time (8-16-2019). Not a lot of crowds so no lines for slides. Wave pool was fun and the water was clean with tolerable chlorine smell. Life guards were very attentive and service was friendly. Definitely will come back here. Oh and yes it's the cheapest in the midwest and free parking is a plus.

The water park itself (structurally) is great (reason for 2 stars) and you really can have a fun day here. Most of the employees here are just teenage kids looking to make some money over the summer. My main quarrel with deep river is the price of admission is I N S A N E versus what they pay their employees. Really? Minimum wage is your best offer for employees when you charge $20-$28 for admission? Everyone knows minimum wage is the equivalent of "if we could LEGALLY pay you less we would". Not only that but the "owners" replies on the google reviews are atrocious and trying too hard to be witty. Grow up.

Beautiful, fun place to go for family fun. Went last summer for the first time had a blast. Staff is great, and friendly. Life guards are very alert and polite. Going again for the 4th of July this year with my family. me and the kids can't wait. Good deals on their pizza, super yummy.

This place is great on a fun day. The slides are a lot of fun and the lazy river is a nice way to relax and unwind. My only real complaint is if you're there all day you'll probably want food, and the food is absolutely terrible. The hot dog is okay but it comes with fries that are almost inedible. And they don't use normal nacho cheese for the nachos, they use something else that is. . . Not good. Edit: in response to the comment from Deep River, I'd say that a fair point in general, though coming from out of state by plane, it's not exactly a practical option to bring a cooler along

I never really feel the need to write reviews but I believe after my experience at Deep River Water Park I am obligated to write one. I had driven all the way from Cassopolis Michigan at 9:00 in the morning to make it to Deep River but I almost regret even leaving my house. Once I paid for my ticket I went and changed. Tell me why when I walked up all these stairs to ride this water slide one of the workers yelled “Which one” before I could even see the slides, referring to which slide we wanted to go down, but as we were deciding the girl started to clap in our face,at us, and asked again with the most aggressive attitude. I know that I am just a guest but if I ever receive that kind of mistreatment again I will not be coming back. Ps. This is my third time coming here.

One of my favorite places! ❤ And one of the best deals in the ares to do something fun. :) However parents, please be aware that even if you don't ride the rides you have to pay for a full price ticket to enter and watch your kids. Also, everything closes 15 minutes earlier than the stated times. For instance, my son beat the rest of our group to the ice cream by a few steps. I was surprised to see 2 employees physically stand to bar the rest of our family of 3 from ordering, telling us only he (my youngest son) was allowed to order and would not allow me to assist him, so he did the best he could. The rest of the kids were in tears, so please allow plenty of time to get food or ice cream. We all know the ice cream is the bomb at the end of the day, for the summer experience.

This place is ridiculously priced for a place that has had the same water rides for years. Some of the life guards here were rude and some of the rides were highly disorganized. For example, the lazy river by the toilet bowl. To get in you must stand in a line which no one abides by and no one says anything to those who cut. It used to be one side was for the single tube and the other for the double tube, now it’s disastrous. The only positive is that you can bring your own food.

They also have adequate food & drink available including water bottle refilling stations. You can bring your own food & drinks in via cooler (non-alcoholic). A decent experience for the price. You know a water park is a water park and Deep River water park was a fun place to be. However they can be dangerous.what made deep water park special to me is the fact that my daughter almost drowned in the wave pool and the lifeguards were excellent. They really do their job. Before she swallowed or inhaled water after she was dragged into the deep they were in the water to save her. I give the Lifeguard staff all the accolades. God bless you guys

It was nice, only issue is there was a band-aid in the wavepool which sometimes can't be helped, looked like mold on the bottom of the splash pad near the entrance (not an expert on mold) and irresponsible teenagers just kicking around bottled waters on the ground. Other then that it was nice

We had such a great time! We liked the different levels of slides available. From the adventure seeker to the timid slider, there's something for everyone to enjoy. We spent time on the lazy river, the adventure river, and the huge wave pool. This is a great park at a nice price to bring the whole family for the day. Meals are moderately priced, or you can bring lunch in a cooler. Can't wait to go back!

I've always loved this place growing up. I went for my daughter birthday and everything was pretty ok except the fact the wave pool was not filled up all the way and since they allow food out in the lounging area there were alot of seagulls just hanging out in the water as well.

Overall very good, went here with work and they were highly accommodating with all (approx.) 150 of us! Only bad thing is that one of our kids (who we paid full height price for) couldn't go down the racing slides cause they were too short. A little unbelievable if you ask me... also, they took what felt like forever (about 25 minutes) to get out one chicken sandwich with some fries and the line wasn't even long.

Edit: leaving a 4 star review and mentioning that it would be nice to have more refreshment stands open being replied to with a “just sayin’” has earned an edit. For the most part I enjoyed my day, but due to the fact that basic criticism is met with disrespect; I changed my review to 1 star and will not return.

We had a great time at Deep River Waterpark, but there were a few things that needs to be addressed. It's not that handicap friendly. It was an all family event and a couple of our family members are handicapped and there is not an area for seating that's handicap accessible. The park gets very crowded and busy so seating and picnic space is hard to find. We had to walk around the whole park until we found two lawn chairs way in the back for a group of 12 people. After walking around and asking other guest if we could use extra chairs and a picnic table part of our day was over. Okay enough of that, I don't know what all the Lifeguard Duties are but a couple of times we had to help kids out of the lazy river. One of the lifeguards was blowing his whistle at a young girl right in front of him having trouble getting out because the current kept pulling her down river, when all he had to do was stand up and pull her out of the water. He did not move from his seat even when he seen us having trouble trying to help to get her out. This happened once more while we were there with two other kids and another lifeguard, she just sat there. The day was over and we need to use a wheelchair to get one of our family members back to the car since we were so far back in the park. The walk would have been a little too much for him. Plus the security guard was standing there watching us get our stuff together so we could leave. We were denied the use of a wheelchair because of some I don't know reason. I guess they would have had to fill out a accident report for allowing us to wheel somebody to the car

I love this place! If you live anywhere within a good distance it's a great place to take your family for the day! Especially just a little get away! There's also a few cool paces to take the family right by it to complete the trip like the candy and popcorn place!

This is the best Place to go on any Hot Day Of The Week Durning the Summer Time. All the rides are safe and fun. The park is clean and I Love That. Friendly workers for the most part and then their are some who still need to be taught how to treat All people but anyway Great Park and Great Service

We go here every year for Community Hospital Day. It is 10 dollars a ticket. Can't beat that. They close the park down. We can come in at 5 and the park opens back up from 630 to 10. Happy they do days like this. If not could never go. It is too much money the other days.

It's pricey but if you go from 10am to 6pm it's worth it!! Bring a cooler with water, juices, sandwiches, chip, fruit! What ever taking my sister in law there!
