This place was pretty nice! The rules were straightforward and is more than meets the eye. The Island Escape was pretty interesting, of which peaked my interest for a future visit. The only thing I would improve for this place would be the way the boxes are. Being a bit broken may ruin the experience of finding something if all I could do to the box and jerk it open. Otherwise, this place did a stellar job. Highly recommend!

Our group was small and really insecure, would we really be able to pull off a Museum Heist??? Enter Alyssa, Game Master extraordinaire!! She calmly made our group of novice thieves feel better and more secure as the game went on. We broke out but we couldn't have done it without Alyssa!! It was a great family night!

We played the Museum Heist room with Austin for our Game Master, and it was really fun! Definitely the most high tech escape room I have been to so far, which made the experience so much fun. I would highly recommend this room and location to anyone! My only complaint is that taking clues do not have any detrimental effect on your final time, which seems unfair for final comparisons to other teams’ times. Still though, this room was so much fun!

Me and my cousins went together. The kidnapping scenario was super fun and just the right amount of challenging for us, ages 16-29. Our guide Gia was awesome and helpful! I'd reccomend this place for any fun family event, but I think it might be too challenging for young kids.

We had a group of 4 successfully escape The Kidnapping at Breakout South Indy Location. All I can say is that everything was spectacular. The staff was very friendly, the room was well-designed with a great storyline and puzzles, and our game master (Paige) did an excellent job helping us along the way. I will definitely be back to attempt another room. Ask for help when you need it because we wouldn’t have gotten out without it!!!

I went with my roommate to do the Hostage room, and we had so much fun. The staff was friendly and super helpful, which was important, because my roommate and I did not turn out to be naturals at escaping. We needed some (a lot of) hints to finish the room, but that just meant that we got to have more laughs with the staff afterward.

Gia does a fantastic job as a game master! It was my first time with Breakout games and at this location. I did Island Escape with my wife and two friends. It was a blast but certainly challenging. Tip: PLEASE replace the binoculars in the Island Escape, they are barely legible. Give Gia a raise though!

Me and my group of friends have done 4 rooms and each one has been difficult yet very exciting. We still have a perfect win streak and we plan to keep it up. This is by far one of the most fun experiences I would recommend if you enjoy problem solving and puzzles.

I love doing a Breakout rooms. This was our 4th time at this location, and we’ve broken out each time. Tonight we did Casino. Compared to the other rooms, it was a little bit more difficult, but primarily because we had some technical difficulties that made us have a problem. The game master helped us out though, so it all worked out. My favorite room, hands down, is Museum Heist. Casino was fun, though. I’d really love it if this location expanded, or added some more rooms. Now, we’ve done all but one room, so soon we won’t be able to come back unless there are additions to the location. I love the difficulty of Museum Heist. More like that would be awesome!!!

They were friendly and answered a lot of our questions (there were a ton of them). Even though we were about five minutes late, they were super nice about it. The room itself was spectacular. Attended a Yelp event and participated in the casino Room. Is it me or are these rooms really hard? Had a great time and was about 10 minutes away from solving the puzzle.I think it helps to have a couple of millenniums in your group they tend to be better at these puzzles. Highly recommended for a fun group event. Great staff who act as game masters.

Beech Grove Breakout's escape rooms are one of the most fun ways to spend an hour of your time. The rooms are interesting, they are intense, and the employees are very professional. Anytime you are looking to figure out if you can solve a hijacking or participate in a successful museum heist, this is definitely the place to go.

Man I went in August and for some reason I'm just now getting to post this which is extremely odd for me. I had a ton of fun with my family and the hour time limit really starts to get to you towards the end, which is a weird twist, that's right you're timed... You have to figure out how tip get out of whatever room/scenario that you sign up for. You have to work as a team to find clues and figure out what they mean and stand for. I didn't think it'd get as exciting as it did man, but honestly, you should check this place out, it's actually very well thought out and it definitely gets your mind working to figure out the situation, although me and my family did choose one of the harder situations. Over all though it's really pretty cool. Challenging fun with the family. Or a close group of friends. Caution: may cause arguments if everyone isn't applying themselves evenly. But seriously good times. Man I went on August 4, 2018 but honestly forgot to put my review up here. I had been talking it up on Facebook immediately after playing, but somehow I spaced on my Google review, and this reviewing business is my hobby. I take it serious and try to offer anyone that reads my reviews details and descriptions of what to expect. Thank you for reading, I how you can tell that I really am dedicated to my Google reviews.

We were hoping for a tea life experience similar to the popular “escape the room” iPad games....and we were not disappointed! We attempted the “Museum Heist” Breakout room, and very nearly made it out. Puzzles were challenging without being unfairly difficult. Our host, Gia, did a very nice job of explaining the rules beforehand, and providing clues if we asked. We will be back for sure!

Went tonight with a few friends and we had a blast! The environment provided from the staff is so friendly and during the games they really help set the mood. We did the Museum Heist room and it was everything and MORE we expected. Kevin was our game master and he did a great job setting us up for victory! The room was difficult but not too difficult that you want to blow your brains out. And there are optional hints provided by your game master by request when you get stuck. Kevin did a great job giving us hints when we needed them. Courtney, the GM, greeted us upon arrival which I thought was awesome that the GM was so attentive to the guests instead of hiding in an office like you see most managers do. She was there for any questions/help we needed. 10/10 would recommend you visit Breakout Games. It’s a rush of adrenaline when the clock is running out of time and, just like the movies, you break out of your room right as the last seconds count down. Non-stop fun and excitement! Can’t wait to come back to try the Kidnapping room!!

Overall it was a pretty fun experience. There was a good mix of search and discovery and then also mental puzzles that you had to solve. We did have a few issues where the batteries were dead in a blacklight that was necessary to get a clue and thus the game had to be paused for a few minutes. Also, some of the clues could be forced out of the boxes without having to actually unlock a box, which led us getting out of order. Finally, and this is sort of true of all escape rooms, but the ability of whether you escape is really up to you and how many clues you ask for, which does slightly take away from challenge and feeling of accomplishment when you do "break out".

We're veterans of escape rooms (we've done at least 5 before). This was by far our worst experience, and one that really was zero fun and all frustration. First of all, we booked our room just the two of us expecting to be put in with others. We arrived and found out we had it all to ourselves. This is good if you are anti-social, but bad if you want any chance of doing well. Usually these take a lot of people working together and this was no exception. With only two of us we had no chance. Secondly, our game master was new and had no clue what he was doing at all. He stumbled through the initial presentation, said he was very nervous, and didn't explain much. I would have given him a pass, but it got worse. He didn't reset the room correctly. There was a door that was unlocked and a padlock that was unlocked when we started. These were the very first things a group would work on. So we fixated on the initial clues that were useless because those clues went to things that were already unlocked (unknown to us). We had this happen at another escape game, and like this one it ruined the experience for us. Thirdly, our game master never offered help when we struggled. You aren't given a radio or button to ask for clues. You have to hold up a sign to a camera. We did this and didn't get help until much later. The help we were given wasn't very helpful because it led us to things that weren't reset correctly when we started. Another problem was that the puzzles were more random and less logical/intuitive. One of the puzzles involved finding six numbers to unlock something. We found the six numbers. Problem was, there was no way to know what order the six numbers went in. There are one million ways to arrange six numbers!!! We finished our hour having solved ZERO of the puzzles. Then the game master came in and couldn't even show us some of the things we asked because he said he forgot the code or didn't know. Very bad experience. There are other escape games that are run better with puzzles that are a little more logical. UPDATE- I expressed my concerns to management and they were very nice and they made the situation right, stars upgraded.

I had a really great time at the escape room with my family at the Museum Heist of 7. Our host, Jia, was a really great with hints and elaborating on things. It's probably my favorite one yet! It was difficult, but really fun!

The prices were way better then gamestop and disc replay they also test the used merchandise before even putting it out for resale. And if you have a problem with whatever you buy you can bring it back no problem

We played the Hostage room for my daughter‘s 13th birthday. I have to admit that I went a little skeptical of enjoying it and somewhat dreading having to spend an hour in the room. Couldn’t we just go bowling or something? Our group of five absolutely loved it and the time flew by. Mitchell was our game master and was incredible. We lost and we all “died”. On the way home, all we could talk about was which room we were going to play the next time we go. We will most definitely be back and would highly recommend! Would double the star rating to 10 if it was possible!

This location has great staff, and very interesting rooms! We had a lot of fun working on the puzzles our rooms had to offer us.
