Very clean and easy to find
Great park
Feminist Skate Jam. AWESOME TIME THANKS VOCALO 91.1 RADIO
Great park where they hold lots of venues. Its a really nice sized park where there could be a festival or concert going on on one side and people could be picnicking on the other. I haven't been inside the field house so I don't know much about it as I have spent all of my time outside on the grounds here which are beautiful and spacious.
Very nice place to take the children! Usually very clean and friendly people!!
It is a pretty great neighborhood park. It has two softball fields, a community pool, two tennis courts, and two horseshoe pits. The park is kept clean and well maintained. There is something going on here every night in the summer. The softball fields have lighting for night games. There is a paved path around the perimeter of the park which is nice for walking/running. I wish this park had a dog park. The park is friendly to dogs. #park #chicago #nearwestside
There is an awesome park here and the pool is clean and big. The pool is never very packed either so you don't have yo swim all cramped. They also have tennis courts, basketball courts and a few baseball diamonds to have family fun!!!
A great place for visitors.

The International Festival of Life brought me to the park and then I took the time to read about the rich history. It was a nice walk from downtown and gave us a chance to walk by the Haymarket Memorial on the way. We liked the park.
Wonderful, old school park. Love this place!
Nice park for the children. It is huge!!!
I'm usually only here for the Pitchfork Music Festival, and that is always a great time. The park is great. Nice open spaces and a baseball diamond.

Great park, great history.
Beautiful park with great Chicago history!
I think this park was attached to or added to the space of asbury park for riot fest but, the whole area was great and easy to get to.
Union Park has and always will be a fantastic park to me!
Nice and clean with a swimming pool
Great park with plenty of space to run and get the wiggles out.
Great park for a festival! The enclosed space offers and intimate experience with great views of the skyline. It's accessible via public transit and just a short walk from the West loop and a couple of additional music venues.
easy parking. nice place could spend here all day long
Great free street parking. My pre-teen daughter had plenty to climb on. The park was clean and the children played well together.
It is a nice place to relax and just take a break. There's plenty to do at this park. Go for a swim or work out. Even enjoy a summer concert.
Great meeting place
Care takers can do a little more for the field. Restrooms were beyond reproach these people should be acknowledged for their work.
Clean and enjoyable to be in with my daughter and both of the dogs
Great Parkk From Swimming Pool To Tennis Courts.
This is a very nice part to visit
Been to Union for Pitchfork, rallies, and a March. Well organized events and the park has ample space. Both rallies and the March were peaceful and empowering. Again plenty of space, park was clean for those.

So many people listening to music at the Pitchfork. Blood Orange. Japanese Breakfast.

I had never been to Chicago before this event at Union Park. Had a lot of fun. It had rained the previous day but the volunteers wprked relatively hard to put down as much sand as they could in the puddles and whatnot. after a music wvent there a lot of trash and recyclables just lying arpund but im sure the clean up crew did a great jpb

Good times
Just a regular ol' park. Nice but nothing special.
Nice park great concerts in the summer.
Always a good place to go and let the kids run around, the sprinkler system is good for the kids with the mist spraying in a circle. 3baby strollers and the rest being of regular size.
Good place to run.
Nice place
Nothing really to write about, in a sketchy neighborhood
I go to this pool every summer. The life guards and staff are friendly n respectful. I feel safe here they haved lockers n free parking.
Nice park
Beautiful destination!
Great time at Pitchfork Festival. Park was a great venue for it. Been many times and will continue to go!
easy to park
Playground good for toddlers and older kids. Rubber grounds. Trees help to shade some areas. El track nearby to watch trains.
My son, daughter and I enjoyed a concert in this park in July 2018. We saw Lauren Hill and Chaka Khan. We had an AMAZING time!
Check out the dogs they love it here.
Good place to walk on grass.
Oh yea baby Festival of life was BANGING!!!!! Nice vendors, Great food, Good Music, Positive Vibez all in one cant go wrong with that!!!!
OMG the March for Our Lives on March 24, 2018. These kids are amazing. The program was absolutely outstanding -- speakers and performers are listed on the March for our lives Chicago facebook page. I was in tears at least half the time. And the park was set up perfectly for this special event. Big TVs, and porta potties even!
Wish it had a nature walk or pond. Other than that, it is a good place to take the kids. There's a playground, field house, basketball court, tennis court baseball field. Enough to keep kids active.
A green space is not only the city's lungs. From Pitch Fork to the annual Immigrants' Rights march to the March for Our Lives, it's a civic space or one of the hearts of the city.
I've only been here for events, and they've all been pretty cool.
Easily accessible off the cta train and bus route. Plenty of free street parking nearby. Close to lots of music venues and restaurants. There is a basketball court and baseball field. There is an outdoor pool for use during warm months. Large park.
Went there for North Coast Festival a D the park was clean and the neighborhood is nice
Great place to take your children
Love this place!
Nice park, several concert venues every year. It's in West Town which is getting better every year.
Outstanding park and awesome in the summer, with it's Music fest.
Because there's dirt dug up everywhere..Incomplete work being done
Love taking the family to the park.
This place is a remembrance of where it all got started for me on the road of sobriety and recovery from insanity Jesus precious holy Jesus thank you for loving me when i didn't and couldn't love myself i am so thankful and grateful for all that he has done for me and i promise to be careful and give you all the honor and glory and all the praise you deserve in Jesus name Amen.
Great park, but I don't like it when they let their dog go in the park, but otherwise fantastic park
Field House wheelchair accessible family friendly clean
This is the new location for Ruido Fest. kDidn’t get a chance to experience the old location but I had a great time at Union Park and I hope the festival keeps going on
Awesome place to enjoy and play.

Beautiful park. Went for pitchfork festival, really well organized.
Great old park on the near west side.

This is an awesome park to visit for big events or to hang out and enjoy the scenery.
Well kept,a great gathering place for families in the West loop....
Excellent. Good everything...
It's safe, beautiful, i it has activities & also concerts.
Overpriced no real value
Have only really been for Pitch Fork and North Coast (Music Festivals). I believe the Pitch Fork team does a good job. North Coast doesn't seem to be run as well.
The landscape could use a serious upgrade
Pretty nice park wedged between two busy streets. More for sports than a quiet stroll. Has tennis and basketball courts, gym and pool, and baseball diamonds. Some garbage scattered about but not too bad. Has a great jungle gym for kids
Amazing park for a music festival.
Nice park
Passing through on my bike
Awesome facility. Outdated here and there (ahem the bathrooms) but so much history and such a needed resource in the ever-bustling NWS.
We had a good time here. I've never been before. But we hosted an N/A picnic, which turned out great! Not just in number wise, but as far as everything else as well!. Only if there hadn't been any rain at all that day!!! But we sure did make it work!!!. I'd recommend for big get to gathers and such!
Very big park in a great location that is great for community gatherings. It can use some upgrades to the baseball fields, playgrounds, and swimming pool. It is easy to get to because it's on a major street artery, and it is right under the Ashland stop for the Green/Pink Line. It could use one more basketball court, and some more upkeep when it comes to concerts and festivals. Parking is very scarce over here so please be patient or take public transportation.
Great location for concerts, close to the green line and minutes from downtown.
It's a great park to visit
I'm really only ever here for Pitchfork or Northcoast music festivals, but it works great for that! Thank you locals for allowing us musicians/festies to take over your space for a couple of weekends!
One of Chicago's great parks with lots of activity. Love concerts here.
Easy and convenient, and located at the crossing of several bicycle routes in the city.
Beautiful
Cool CPD workers, fun play groubd for children and loads of friendly children.
It good
It's nice to be there
Best Sunday in a long time
Good park
I go to Union Park once a year for the Pitchfork Festival, to watch music and get some sun. I haven't been to the park any time after the festival, but from what I can tell it seems like a pretty swell park. Perfect for baseball games, picnics, and make out sessions.
Grew up near here. Its ok
