Very nice park. The parents can be nice depending. Timing is key if you dont want to go when the park is full. Usually early in the day before 230pm will be okay as it should be all little kids. At around 330 youll start getting more students from Lincoln Park High School. The weekends usually have some kids but not to many as long as you go before 4 30pm. Its a beautiful park with a big field.
Decent all wood park lots of shade average park Chicago doesnt have great parks when you compare them to other parks
Something for everyone. Little league and neighborhood bar baseball games, tennis, kid soccer practice, kiddy playground and meeting place for neighborhood dogs and their owners. Safe.
Lovely park! Lots of shade, benches and lawn. Playground for kids.
Playground is amazing
It's a nice park, my kids get to meet a whole lot of new friends. Will most definitely visit again!
Nice big park lots of shaded areas, paths for walking and creapy looking sculptures of Wizard of Oz characters throughout the park. They are simi interactive if you scan a QR code with your phone.
Great playground!
Nice play to walk the dogs or take your kids to hangout. There are several enclosed areas for various activities (i've seen picnics, tennis, softball, kiddie playground). It's in Lincoln Park so a relatively safe neighborhood, but sometimes you'll find people just wandering around late at night. It's near a lot of bars and restaurants, so places to eat after you're done enjoying the park. A lot of dogs hangout there as well.
Our family really enjoys this park and it's always on our must see list everytime we visit Chicago. It's not too fancy, but it is very enjoyable, not to loud during the afternoons and the parents/children we have come across have always been friendly.
Gus' favorite park in the city.
Great for parkour! Fr.
This is a lovely small park on the north side of the city.
Nice big park with a great playground for smaller kids
Great place for daily jogging, weekend relaxing, dog walking and sunshine. Embedded with a dog park and children playground.
Lovely park. Lots of families and children, but also quiet enough to enjoy a book in the garden.
Amazing place to revisit times of the original Wizard of Oz. Very nice location to sit and socialize.
Good park for sport and just hanging out... if you like dogs! ;)
Beautiful park..nice people and a dairy queen across the street for the kids
Great playground. Enclosed so you don't have to worry about the little ones running off. We really like the quiet garden as well.
I was so happy I was beyond myself.
love to come here for running. they have little hill right by the school good for leg workout
Great Chicago park with an "Oz" theme featuring a well worn but impressive wooden playground that is very popular with kids.
my favorite buddy at the park!! walk and enjoy on sunny days its really nice
Beautiful place to just take a stroll and plan on your next place to eat! Also great atmosphere with the oz crew.
Lots of open space and fresh air.
Kids love the wooden play structures.
Great park!
This is such a pretty little haven in the middle of a busy neighborhood. The Emerald Garden is a quiet place to enjoy yourself. (If you're one of the people who goes in there and smokes, you're going to hell. Die.) The Oz character statues are wonderful and, if you've got kids, they will love them. I also love them even though I'm not a child and not even that crazy about The Wizard of Oz.
Great space.. Lots of it for all ages. Has an Excellent corner for kids of all ages which is well shaded with heavy canopy of trees.
Oz Park is a lovely place in the city to take a minute out of my day. There's a good sized playground that's usually busy but not overly crowded, a garden area (no pets allowed in there), tennis courts, paved paths... I've even seen groups doing tai chi there! Also, if you're looking for a good place to socialize your dog, there are usually lots of friendly dog owners walking their pooches.
Drive past the place all the time. Love the tin man
I once round-house kicked a dog here
Love parks!
Found all the members from the wizard of oz! So cool!
excellent to run
every time I go to "Chicago cid and Hemp" store right around the corner, I visit this nice park, love taking my CBD vape and go to this oz little garden, believe me its really nice out there!
Great place to visit with family!
Great park with a lot of space. Surprisingly good, fee parking on Webster and Lincoln Ave. Sometimes gets busy, but most of the time plenty of room to chuck a frisbee around. If you're a pokemon go fan, this is a great spot to catch mons and there are often raids. Catch 'em all!
Very beautiful place to go for outing with friends and family. I love go there for walk . The atmosphere was fresh. Must visit place.
Dog poop everywhere. Like 3 statues. Portions gated and inaccessible.
Great for working out. DePaul ROTC's favorite place to PT!
Beautiful park to take the kids to on a Sunday afternoon.
Nice open space with a clean flower garden.
Great family park!
Best Oz themed park in the city. Probably.

Teally a great park for everyone
A great park we stop at along the World Naked Bike Ride route. The statues of the Wizard of Oz Characters are great as well.
Great urban Park. Large open field, baseball diamonds, and public tennis courts.
Love this beautiful Wizard of Oz themed park and playground, great for all ages
five stars
Nice park for kids and grown-up. Baseball fields, playground for kids under 5 but I would say under 8 should be good. Nice Oz movie sculptures around the park.
My Dog loves this place!
A nice neighborhood park. Great for the entire family.
oz park from my child books . I like this place
The carrot soup was delicious! I love the statues in this park. It's a great place to relax and watch the birds.
Wonderful family friendly park with free parking on street
The baseball fields are great! Lots of super nice people and beautiful dogs!
Childhood memories shared with my children and i love that i can do stuff like this and show my kids the fun i had growing up
I love it try it you will like it
This park is quite popular on the weekend. Maybe a bit too popular, but all for good reason.
Great place to relax.
Great park the playground is beautiful all wood it's like a castle my kids enjoy it so much and the statue of the wizard of oz cast was amazing me and my family really enjoyed ourselves in the garden area they have with the benches 5 stars
Best park in neighborhood! Open grassy area, wooden playground, basketball and tennis courts, baseball diamonds, track lots of options for all age groups. I wish they had bathrooms other than outhouses which are scary with toddlers.
All of the good wizard of oz statues and also a place to supposedly see the Chicago winged creature!
Super spacious. It has a Tennis court, baseball field, and a playground for the kids and still more room for like dogs and the like.
Nice park in the middle of a busy area. Good place to sit in the grass and relax for a bit.
Lovely park in Chicago with wizard of Oz statues good space kids play area lovely on a sunny afternoon
An amazing park for people of varied ages! The playground for kids is a true hidden gem
friendly place during daylight hours cant complain
Great for kids and adults
Lovely park in the nice Lincoln park neighborhood. Good spot for a break with kids where they can enjoy the playgrounds and look for the Wizard of Oz characters statues around the park
Beautiful park. Great for kid and family activities. Terrific downtown skyline view.
So simple and amazing
Great park for tennis, baseball, soccer, basketball and kids play area along with lots of paths through the trees and a beautiful flower garden and of course the characters from the Wizard of Oz!
Beautiful park, lots of shade trees. Make sure you find all 4 statues!
Good place for family. Prepare for bugs before going...
It is a good place to visit with little children.
So much fun for the kids. Park is beautifully designed, dog friendly to. Loved it
Only been here to watch Wizard of Oz each summer on the anniversary of its release (80 years now!) but it looks like a cool little park. Statues of the main four characters at each corner.
Nice neighborhood
Beautiful place
Nice place to visit
Saw multipke rats in and around children's play areas.
Super cute
Nice park don't understand the Oz connection...
Love this park for my little obe. Nicely shaded for hot days and it's a good neighborhood
Very nice park, especially if you have little ones.
Very nice, chill, clean, cute park. Parking is difficult in the day but later in the evening or early morning on weekdays it's much easier. Finding the different characters from the Wizard of Oz is really cute.
It was a nice park, had the statue of the Wizard of Oz characters. Nice enclosed play area for kids, with seing, slides etc. Fence was about 3 ft tall
Lots of puppers. Would recommend
Oz Park what can I say beautiful quiet and Serene but one thing I wish the place had is a pool or some type of Beach the big Park nice lot activities the water features will really bring out the park even more.
This is a very nice park. Lots of room for activities.
A large area to play and relax
This is a feature-packed little park for kids. The location is excellent for a weekend trip in from other parts of the city: a lot of food and drink options just up or down the block. Starbucks, Thai food, burger options, etc. The park had standard swings, as well as toddler swings (and a tire swing too!). A sprawling kids castle/climb element is the central piece of the park. Also right next to a beautiful public garden and baseball field. So why four stars instead of five? There’s always some graffiti in this park. We’ve had a purse stolen at this location. Some of the rocking features need to be replaced.
Great park, had s hard time finding the Cowardly Lion though!
I nice park with two baseball diamonds, lots of shade, and plenty of benches to rest on. Approximately on each corner there is a statue of a Wizard of Oz character.
What a cool themed park. Enjoyed both days here immensely!
This park is stunning! I am a big fan of Wizard of Oz, and I must say the statues look amazing. I can relax here and read a book all day long.
Lovely neighborhood park. Well maintained facilities, well lit, and plenty of cool activities. The Playground was just updated, and is still one of the best on the north side. This small little park seems to have just the right amount of everything, and is obviously loved by locals.
Fun playground for little ones and older children. However, no public restrooms nearby.
Free public tennis courts! Lots of cute dogs!
This is a small park with the characters from The Wizard of Oz. It's a great park for walking or running.
Great city Park
Great place to walk, relax, and watch people while enjoying the characters from the Wizard of Oz.
first time goi g there and the quite area is a ni e place to just sit and relax
Good park with lot of swings, rides and slides for kids of all ages. Surroundings are full of greenery enjoy your kids birthday party here.
Great park with statues from the caracters from the movie
Great neighborhood park with a pretty garden, tennis courts and ballfields.
Hidden gem. Never heard of this small quaint park but the talking statues were a great touch.
Not a great place to visit in a snow storm! But the statues were cool. Probably a great place to visit in the sunshine!
Really nice little park with Wizard of Oz statues
Wide open city park. 3 baseball diamonds. 1 basketball court. 4 tennis courts. Kids play area. Oz characters sculpted by Jack Kearney. Relaxing flower garden. Lively on summer weekends. Occasional outdoor movies.
Best tennis in summer and playground for children all year round
I've lived in Lincoln Park for over 45 years and played there when I was a kid and now my kids and grandkids play there Oz Park my wonder years playground.
Best place for parks and families
Great place for the kids. along with a basketball court, tennis courts, baseball field and a path that's great for a walk or running.
Happened to stumble upon this park yesterday and loved it! It is a very well thought out park, from the 4 statues, meandering paths, Emerald City Gardens (my favorite part - so many types of flowers and plants!!), Dorothy’s playground, baseball field and basketball courts. It is a lovely place to spend some time if you’re in the area!
This is one of our favorite parks to go to. We have a two year old who loves to swing and this park has at least six swings available for little kids. Even if you need to wait for a swing you rarely wait long. Probably three or four slides to choose from but careful metal slides can be a little fast. Park is a good mix of older equipment and newer equipment but everything is in great shape. Even on a sunny day the park remains fairly shaded which is a plus.
It's an awesome park with tons to do. The kids playground is great with many different types of activities for kids of many different age levels. The park has large grassy areas for all sorts of activities. In the summer (fall?) they sometimes play movies on a giant screen projector. There are also separate sections like a tennis court and a baseball field. Good location and accessible too.
Great place to walk your dog! This fun park has beautiful sculptures of characters in the book. Great park surrounded by beautiful homes.
Very cool statues the whole family will love and nice park. Nice place to spend a day
Just a park with a few statues, nothing really special about it. Dorothy, Tinman, Cowardly Lion, and Scarecrow.
Oz park baseball is the best
Where are the flying monkies, wicked witches, and the god damn Wizzard of Oz? This place is mearly a showcase of Dorothy's possy.
Beautiful park with many treats.
BEST PARK EVER
My grandson loved it, he's five. Lots of shade for Grandma
Beautiful park with lush grass and shade!
My grandchildren love this. They’ve played there since they were toddlers. Now they are both Oz Park baseball players. This park has something for everyone and is a Neighborhood Treasure
It's a fun little area to walk around and adventure. There really isn't alot to do as an adult but for kids there is a playground and multiple Pokemon stops
Great place free to get in , $26 parking if you can't obtain a free parking spot on the surrounding streets.
normal llald dad
Great Chicago local spot
Beautiful park and well kept
really nice condone tennis court here, and they have little gem fenced but its free to walk in its a little garden . nice time there every time I go visit
Such a nice and beautiful park! Very clean
The kids from the school are rude and obnoxious but it's a nice park for kids. 6+
biased since its a childhood favorite, but I have a lot of good memories here. Only complaint is some of the wood is falling apart. Not in critical places, just in the little roofs of the playground.
The children playground was great. Very big, lots of kids and parents were easily handled by this large play area Only negative was the high school was using the park to run laps in their physical education classes
Super cute tunnels and slides for the kids
Great open space!
What real nice park.
The kids had a great time.
Lovely neighborhood park. Well maintained facilities, well lit, and plenty of cool activities. The Playground was just updated, and is still one of the best on the north side. This small little park seems to have just the right amount of everything, and is obviously loved by locals.
Well maintained park
this park is full of love and joy and cute family. Lovely pets and pet parent(s) too. fancy playground for kids, fancy tennis court, nice garden to sit, basketball and baseball fields. Plenty of meter parking nearby. Only area of opportunity is the grass. it's a bit dry and spotty.
Oz Park one of the great parks in the city of Chicago my daughter grew up in Oz Park but there's a little problem there it's not a dog park and that all dogs are friendly that are walking on leashes and when a dog runs up to a dog on the leash it could get aggressive either make it a dog park or don't make it a dog park somebody please police
Super fun park. There's toys for the kids and a statue of the main Wizard of Oz characters. Also has plenty of shady areas for a hot Chicago day.
Charming themed park. I'm not a big fan of the wizard of oz, but nevertheless, I enjoy spending time here. A good place to walk with the kids
Nice park
Great park for kids.
Always play tennis here, clean and amazing
Nice small park with cool Wizard of Oz statues.
Clean and beautiful!
One of my favorite Chicago parks. Really great feel and great views of the city.
Just parked over there..
