REVIEWS OF Onesti's Wild West Town IN Illinois

Daniel Aguilar

First time there and really liked it. Show was a little strange but attractions were good. I have a 5 and 3 y/o and they liked almost everything. 5 year old enjoyed the mini rollercoaster that she rode it lots of times, and 3 year old the carousel and gold mining. For me and my wife the escape room was great, we really liked it and we did it in 15 minutes!!! And last, but not least, what we liked the most were the attendants, they were friendly and they even explained our kids how to do the things they were doing, and they even volunteer to take pictures of the 4 of us.

Daniel Nelson

This place was so much fun. My 5 year old had a fantastic time. My 12 year old had a decent time. We really enjoyed the show. It was so cute. Love to go back.

Robin Goyke

Great time! Wonderful museum and artifacts. The activities are great for all ages. Some things could use a little up grading, but all minor. The grounds are peacful. The staff and workers are awesome! The entertainment show is hysterical and mentions saftey first. Very clean as well. It's a nostalgic place that will probably eventually close someday, unfortunately. I suggest all get out there once. We've been 2x. 10 yrs ago and recently. We paid buy one get one half off, but even full price it's worth it. The resturant needs a few more options but you can always picnic!

Used this as a stopover on a long trip and was pleasantly surprised. Yes the Wild West show is cheesy (and with more singing than gunfights) but our 7 year old loved the place. Especially the mini rollercoaster and the gold panning. Found the (mostly young) attendants very attentive and friendly to kids; in comparison to the stroppy teens at most attractions.

Juliana Kluever

"Cowboy town" as our family calls it is a yearly staple for us. Its perfect for kids our ages! 5,3,2. With unlimited rides and short lines its absolutely perfect to keep our kids happy , satisfied, and busy busy! The staff , young and old are very welcoming and freindly. They also have water stations through out the park which is convenient and considerate of their patrons . Ill be so sad when our children outgrow this place.

Teresa Rogers

Family friendly for the grandkids. Nice museum for us adults.

William Lyons

Fun, campy, family owned park. No Disney polish, but that's a good thing for a local, low key good time.

Bella DelPercio

I love this place. I took my kids and now my grandkids. People want everything for nothing then when a place has to close they wonder why. Ridiculous comments about the price. I was sad to hear it was closing but just read its not so I'm planning a day with my kids and grandkids now. Welcome back Donleys.

jerre oses

Its a great place for younger kids. My son and nephew. Love this place

David Burris

More oriented for younger children. Interesting collection of old phonographs!

Nate Ward

Great place to take the kids. Entertaining and lots of hands on activities. Definitley recommend.

Justin Olson

We enjoyed WWT. We loved the memorabilia once you enter and were surprised by all the things to do in the park. Staff was 100% with it, in character and super friendly. They had a show that took the experience to the next level. The actors were great! Overall we were impressed by the sophistication and quality customer service at WWT!

Jeff Kornbrot

Great time and day for the little ones. I think it is priced accordingly. Everything thing inside is free and you can go on the rides as many times if their is not a long line. Their is nothing like this in the area

Rob M

Great place for whole family. The family wild west photos were great. Kids loved mining for gold and horses

Abe Ruben

The people who work here are courteous and helpful. The overall atmosphere at the price point though is a bit steep.... Not a lot of bang for your buck if you catch my drift...

Mark Kovacevich

Old school rides and almost totally friendly staff. Really enjoyed our time there.

TheLonote

A wonderful time. My grandkids, age 9 and 7, thought it was great. They want me to take them again when they visit next year. The grounds are well kept, staff is courteous, and the attractions appeal to the young at heart. GREAT PLACE!!

Hazel B Seversin

we weren’t sure if we were going to stop in but the lady at the front desk this morning was super nice & inviting !! Also the guy running the axe throwing was very good at his job.

Charlie Tuna

Fair Value, worth the trip. Best for ages 4-11 probably, more likely to peek the interest of boy more than girls. Not that girls don't get into trains, roller coasters, and all around general play, but boys are usually more into Cowboys, the slingshots, cork guns, and lovely ladies ;-) Free parking, reasonably priced snack shack, gift shop, and lifetime memories ensure the trip to the boonies is worth while.

Fred Goldstein

A fun place. The new owner has a lot of upgrades to make but overall it is a good place to visit with the kids.

Elizabeth Borzecki

Some people might say this place is outdated, but who am I to judge myself. If you ask my kids they love coming here, they always have fun, and I must say I enjoy the place myself. The show is awesome, my kids who are now 2 and 5 enjoy it a lot, and gold mining is a blast. The restaurant that they have on site is really delicious, this is something I can judge from a perspective of an adult, and my kids enjoyed it to. This is a one of a kind place in Chicago-land area, and if you have never been there, its really worth going.

Jessica Schultz

I went to Wild West Town as a kid and have taken my own kids back there once a summer most of the last 7 years. Without using coupons/groupon and with three kids it gets pricey, and parts of the park are being renovated which is probably long overdue as a number of the attractions are pretty run down. THAT SAID - I was incredibly impressed with the employee customer service and attitude. Every single employee/character we engaged in was enthusiastic, very kind and warm and encouraging with my kids (ranging in age from 3, 5, and 9) and it really made the difference in things like the archery training, pop gun shooting, cattle lassoing, horse rides, train rides, etc. It really seems like a rarity to go someplace and have everyone have such a great attitude, and it left me very impressed. We will go back next year and check out the renovations!

Becca 1

Cute place for kids to spend a few hours. Probably wouldn't go back only because it was a 90 minute drive for us. Otherwise, it was very clean and staff were super friendly. If we lived closer we would probably visit more often.

Karl Bogacz

Great place for families. Lots of fun and excitement for the kids. We buy whole season pass for the family easy worth it out parts of after one to two visits. Highly recommend.

Ron Adams

The workers were very polite and courteous.

Dijana Ib

We had a fun day exploring. It's mainly for kids under 10 but the historical piece was very nice for us adults.

Daniel King

Fun place for young kids.

Christopher Andruch

This place was awesome! The plays were kid age appropriate and all of the staff were super nice and friendly and you can tell they love working there! At the end of the play all of the actors/actresses talk and take pictures. There is a rollercoasters, trains, rides + lots of hands on activities. This place is worth the money and trip!

Amanda

This place is a blast for the whole family! I've gone here as a child and as an adult and each time is a fun fresh experience.

John Curtis

Fun for adults and children.

Chuck O

I'm glad Ron is running it.he does good things with the places he runs.

Heidi Maschmann

Fun place for families. Adults will LOVE the museum displays. So cool!!! Victrola collection is incredible. Cafe is nice, as well! Visit the toy shop!!!

Connie Prohaska

They recently changed the mid day show and it's so much better now! Everything else is still as great as ever, pony rides, train rides, kid friendly roller coaster, panning for gold... it's a great all day trip

Pau Lab

Westy

Jiri Dolezal

Love it

Vijay Dhandapani

Awesome place. Worth of Time spent!!! We have been to many theme parks for our kids , but this rustic cowboy themed park is v cool and did not disappoint in any factor. Rides, shows and activities were all worth spending time on. Very friendly cowboys and cowgirls

Heidi Maschmann

Fun place for families. Adults will LOVE the museum displays. So cool!!! Victrola collection is incredible. Cafe is nice, as well! Visit the toy shop!!!

Stephen Madara

Great piece of roadside American history in illinois

Courtney Hunt

After visiting Donley's 25 years after my first visit it was still just as I remembered it.... AMAZING!!! I thought the ticket price per person was kinda high at first but now since EVERYTHING is included, it was worth every penny!! Especially because you can mine for gold all day if you wanted and that's exactly what my kids and I did half the day lol. They also have drinks and snacks for sale all over the park and those prices were very reasonable! I'd like to add that every single one of the staff members were genuinely happy and helpful, they treated us like family. I got to speak to the owner and you can tell how much he loves what he does and makes sure we all had a great time. The show was fun for kids and for us adults, it was funny and I loved the jokes aimed for us older folks hah! They do a GREAT job at putting it all together and are all very talented. I can't wait to return with my kids to enjoy their fall fest this year and see how they transform the place. I hear they are also getting a kiddie swing ride right around Labor day that I know my kids will love. Overall if you're looking for good old family fun this is the place to go, I promise you won't regret it!!! So much to see and do, OH plus you could have someone arrested for $8 and hauled away to the jail and who doesn't like that?!?? Thanks Again Donley for a GREAT DAY with my family, the kids can't wait to go back and neither can I

Ixchel Perea

Love this place it's fun for the little ones and fun to the parents and grandparents.

Annette K

A great place for fun with the kids. Super friendly cowboys and cowgirls make the trip very enjoyable!

Geoffrey Rose

Really enjoyed this venue. Food was good, service was good. Located in Union Illinois along with Wild west town this is a wonderful place to spend time with family friends or just yourself. Highly recommend visiting.

Kaden Holbrook

I applied here once. The interview went nice, everything seemed fine. About three days later I called the office to ask about the status about my application. As soon as I called, a nice lady answered and told me... "Yes, we need you right away! Just throw on a flannel and a pair of blue jeans, we can handle the rest." So I did exactly what she said to do. When I arrived after driving for 30 minutes, I walked into the building, the nice lady told me to walk into the park and talk to the owner of the park. I was very excited, I've been wanting to work at this park for quite a long time now. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the owner. The owner then said, "You call that a cowboy? none of this is good, this is useless, you're useless. Go home, and clock out." I then walked out of the park, and quit on the spot. There are friendly people here... However the park itself is extremely boring now a days, compared to when it was popular. The staff does a good job, however you can tell a lot of them don't want to be there (probably because the owner is a jerk to them..) They closed down most of the fun parts as well. (The petting Zoo, the bakery.) All in all, if you're in the mood to be yelled at by an old man, spend 16$ for basically nothing, and leave feeling insulted, this is the place for you!

JOSEPH BERNA

Museum and the show were great. The restuarant is pretty run down and understaffed.

Steve rogowski

Great fun for families

Dayna Lopez

you can tell the place is old but everyone is extremely nice and the kids loved the live western show but was sad the train wasn't working

Matt Hovey

Good experience to share with young kids. 3 to 6 year olds will have a great time. The park is just the right size for this age set and the attractions are both nostalgic and fun.

Amanda Johnson

Really hasn't changed much. However, the show was more Broadway then stunts and fights, like I remember when I was little. I took my son to bring him to show him some of my nostalgia and was disappointed in the price for what was offered. The gift shop was outrageously priced... and the snack shop is minimal in choice and not many healthy options. He loved panning for fools gold and the horse ride. Some staff were friendly and warm, while others seemed unaware of my son waiting for help (on a slow day). I am not sure it's worth coming back to until there are improvements. Sad it wasn't a better experience. Fingers crossed Onesti improves this place with his reputation for turning things around and improving establishments.

Shantell Johnson

Great place for Cub Scouts Overnight. Unfortunately we had a mass amount of mosquitos which were absolutely relenting, but the kids had a great time. Would definitely recommend to cub scout troops for an overnight, just hopefully not at the perfect mosquito hatching infestation time!!

Douglas Leitzen

Nice place to take the kids for the day. Reasonable price. Okay food

Ash Dead

We love this place from when my oldest children were under 10 years and our "change of life most wonderful" youngest who is 12 now! When my oldest boy found out we were going there on the fourth of July he made sure he was coming with us! And no joke he came to the truck wearing a plaid shirt and tighter than normal jeans and a cowboy hat with aviator sunglasses ! He's 23! And is usually listening to more urban music than anything else. His little brother says what in the heck is he wearing I said cowgirl attracting duds! WildvWest seems to be smaller than 15 years ago and some of the rides were no longer there but it is still such fun! Marshall Bob is a delight and told stories and messed with my boys putting them in cowboy jail. The youngest one loves loves loves panning for gold. They threw tomahawks and shot bows and arrows and cork rifles I got a bullseye I must say! Yippie Kayay The Wild West Show they put on is so completely different from back in the day and I can speak for my family and the people nearest us ......The new show is WAY better!!!! Cowboy Tom (lead roll) was so entertaining! Plus they all had some hip shaking dance moves! I love the more pop songs with some different wording! They got the crowd involved. You could give Cowboy Tom his own show at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago and I know he would have a crowded house for each of his shows. With his silly facial expressions and dancing and he could sing the menu from a Chinese food restaurant and people would love it! Admission was reasonably priced, Gift shop items kind of pricey. It was extremely hot that day as well and because we had such fun it was barely noticable. Here's the picture of my boys and The Duke

Benszia Smith

Loved learning how to shoot.a sling shot then bought one carved out of wood that was beautifully crafted into a raccoon. Got to pet the horses. Kids ride them. Panning for gold pyryte. Small roller coaster. Western players proformed. Brought picnic lunch. Etc.

Tony Morev

We went as a cub scout family camp option. Kids LOVED it! Mike and Bob a both great to work with and very accommodating! The park kept our scouts occupied all day. The STEM presentation was awesome! Overall i would highly recommend this place to any cub scout pack!

Vicky Tusken

Relive all that is kitchy with the wild west. From the moment you walk though the entrance, you are serenaded by Gene Autry and surrounded by memorbilia. There's a merry go round, train, pony rides, face painting, a miniature roller coaster, panning for gold, and a wild west show. Our grandchildren loved every moment.

Heidi Heck

I brought my three year old son here this summer and he loved it. Yes, it was a little pricey, but once you pay admission, just about all of the rides/attractions inside are free. They really have a LOT to see and do. My only complaint would be that a lot of the staff wasn't very friendly to my child or to myself. Some didn't even greet us or make eye contact when we approached their attraction. There were a lot of young kids working and you could just tell they weren't enjoying themselves and didn't want to be there. However, we did have a great waitress inside the steakhouse and the man who was working in the art and craft building was extremely nice and did a great face painting for my son. Apart from those two, I was very disappointed in the staff. Other than that, the place is great. The shoot-em-up shows were funny and entertaining. The food was good. My three year old son was capable of trying just about every attraction, and he really seemed to enjoy himself.

Linda Saenz

Kids had a lot of fun. The staff were very entertaining.

Katherine Piscopo

Fun way to kill an hour.

Kevin Cronin

Only went into shop. Was to expensive to go inside the Western Town for 2 adults and a three year old boy.

Monica Carpenter

Really neat place! My only complaint was that we couldn't get clean water without paying for it and it was hot out.

Nemesia Theall

Great place for scout activities! Our cub scout pack spent the night in the museum. There was a very informative invention & technology demonstration, a scavenger hunt & a craft project. Donley's staff really takes care of everything for your group. We all thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it!

Eric Schmidt

It's a perfect place for a mini Vacation. My 3 year old son had the time of his life. The staff was so nice and really took an interest in all of the children. Great place

Debbie Maggi

We love this place! Came last year with the grandkids and our on our way there again today! They can't wait. They are so excited. Only wish I saw the mon-tues grandparents deal. But they did give me a $3 off code for online. I tell all my friends with little kids!!

Matthew Landau

Went when it wasn't crowded and it was amazing!

Kyle C

mowing the lawn at 6am with a full campground next door should not be allowed. have some respect

Elizabeth Gothier

Very enjoyable. Went with 5 & 7 yr. old grandkids. They tried most everything at Wild West. Top-rated choices were Kid-powered Hand Cars and Wild West show. Least favorite was the roller coaster. Kids have enjoyed going there for 3 years and like more activities each year.

Brian Hernandez

Super fun for all ages! Me and my girlfriend (ages 20/21) had a blast, although the place is mainly tailored for kids/pre-teens. Very atmospheric, every single employee was in character.

Jonathan Solomon

A fun Western theme park definitely geared towards younger kids. They have a number of engaging attractions and activities. The grounds and shops could use a little TLC and the bathroom situation there is pretty rough. There are also tragically few places for a dad to change a diaper and the ones available offered very little privacy for the little ones.

Mr John

We love WWT. Great place for parents & kids to go back in time, and slow down like the old west. Leave your devices at home. Lot's of stuff to do, rides, eating, western shows and hands-on activities. Our favorite is playing cards in the saloon while having a root beer. Panning for gold of course! We do miss the petting zoo though. Watch the fudge it's addictive!

Joseph Ball

Pretty neat western amusement park. The nicest part is there's no hidden costs for rides or games. Awesome western museum when you first walk in. Management was nice, Jessica was very helpful

Julia Corkey

Very cool place. Kids had a great time. Not crowded at all. Very friendly staff. Definitely will go again.

A Aceto

My son age 4, loved it here and honestly so did I. I would give 5 stars but they limit the activities on a punch card.

cynthia irons

This place is great for kids. We had 13 kids for a Birthday party ranging in ages 1 to 11. All were entertained and the older kids were able to run free and enjoy all that was offered. The young people that put on the show were very entertaining! Only thing I would suggest is an awning of some sort over the wild west show as it was very hot!

Corinne Putwen

I haven't been to here in years in there's new owners we had A-blast my granddaughter Great daughter and her boyfriend and I went and just had a good My great granddaughter who is 2 years Road bythe rollercoaster she just loved it and she loved panning for gold

Larissa Alcorn

Onesti's has taken over management of what used to be Donley's Wild West Town. Much of the original fun(panning for gold, pony rides, roping, etc) has remained, however it was disappointing to see some employees dressed in cheap t-shirts(shop clerks, the saloon bar tender, etc.) Donley's used to be fully immersive as in ALL employees were required to look and act the part of town's folk of the old west. That charm is missing. A select few employees took the part seriously, the rest looked annoyed to be there. The food in the snack shop is ho-hum. The saloon turned into an ice cream joint was nice, but they should have kept the old time sodas(green river, sarsaparilla, etc) as well. The shows were disappointing sing-alongs instead of the gun fight stunt shows. Overall, it's still fun for the littles, but needs improvement in staff management and maintaining the old west atmosphere. The gift shops could use a face lift with better products than generic TY stuffed animals available in the card and party section of Jewel. More products relating to the west would be fantastic.

John Moraska

Can only describe it as old and cheesy. Very expensive for what you pay for. $17 admission is ridiculous .

Katherine

Great place for families! The museum is packed with historical artifacts sure to interest both children and adults, and the Wild West Town is full of fun things to explore. Pan for gold, dress up in period costumes and get your picture taken, see a wild west show, practice your ax throwing, go on a log ride. Plenty of activities to fill a day!

Jordan Hinderliter

Good place

Kathryn Stepp

Our 8 year old son had such a blast. The place is full of family fun activities. You can definitely spend a whole day here.

sshamon72

Overall an okay experience. My kids are 7 & 10 and they were quite bored with the rides and activities. Not much for adults or parents to do. Best part was the wild West show and indoor museum. Onsite restaurant was rather lacking in food choices and overpriced.

Renee Webster

The place is for 8 years and younger not up to 11 as described. Price WAY TOO HIGH for what they offer. The bow and arrow site was cheap broken down equipment. The cork gun shooting range was set up up with rings stuck in the bottle tops so could not be hit. The sling shot area had half of the sling shots broken. The canoes were for 50# or lighter children. The show was cheesy but my heart went out to the kids that performed, they did a good job and had to do all sorts of other jobs between the shows. Some of the staff (teenagers) were very rude and showed no spirit to the town. Had to be younger than 11 (due to size) to ride most of the rides. Roller coaster broken down, no discount offered. Offered a voucher for next time, however this WILL NEVER HAPPEN. Do not recommend.

Linda Randazzo

We really enjoyed the new escape room. Ages (12)(8)(70). We have been coming for five years and love the new additions!

Jonathan Orweller

Seems very expensive for a simple place that is mostly staffed by high school students. Go to the railroad museum instead!

Lisa Andrews

The kids, hubby and I had a great time!

Sherri Libby

Great family fun! Love the wrist bands for all dau one price. We were there 6 hours and our grandkids had a blast.

Judy D

Although my grand children had fun with the "activities", I, having been the before decades ago with my own children was quite disappointed...... the gun show is now a musical thing? I don't think that's a correct depiction of the way the west was. Don't change history because it bothers someone. Maybe that someone shouldn't go then. And the restaurant just reopened but there are no signs ANYWHERE that the kitchen closes at 3pm..... really? So when you get hungry your stuck paying $5 for a hot dog! Unless you eat before 3pm. If you knew you had too... not sure what your trying to do onesti but we won't be back..........

BJ Fox

My family thought it was great but the price per person is high. Prices should be lowered, especially for children. Overall it was a great experience.

Bill Trakas

Was looking for a place where our 4 grandsons could have fun and Donleys did not disappoint. Their ages were 11, 8, 5 & 3 there was rides & attractions for all ages... Best of all Grandparents were "FREE"!

Neha Singhal

Great family fun. 4 he's were not enough for kids. Really can enjoyed pony rides and magic show . Will definitely go again.

Kimberley Hawkinson

Great place for young children to interact with wild west characters, especially the sheriff, bad ombre, and the way to hysterical and funny gold miner

Joseph Czarnecki

Great place to bring the kids and the attraction are good along with the wild west show.

Andrea McCafferty

Awesome venue!

Jill FitzPatrick

Worked here last summer! If you love kids, are willing to be respectful, work hard, and follow basic rules... you will love to work here!!!

Mike Stelzner

Nice place...lots to do for kids.

Lisa Moore

Good fun, suitable for younger kids, enthusiastic employees, lots of hands on activities.

Nancy Kim

Way too expensive for what it offers. Restaurant next door is closed down.

Andrew Schott

Great attraction for kids. Has a roller coaster, boat ride, archery, cork shooter fun, slingshot shooting, merry go round, a kiddie train, a live action show, and pony rides. The museum was pretty thorough too. For $15, I can't complain one bit. Very nice staff that did a great job acting too.

Tom Jankovsky

Great place for the kids. Plenty to do for the whole day. It looks like several areas were refreshed from last year. I was excited to see the saloon had 5 cent beer, but it looks like they were out today.

Emily Prickett

Such a fun time for the family. Took my 6 year old nephew & 3 year old son last year, both are begging to go back this year. We all can't wait!

Jean O Reilly

Very fun for 3-5 years old. My niece and nephew had a ball

Patricia Miller

The ladies in the food area were all jerks! Attitudes and no class

John Quinn

It's not open anymore. Its more profitable to run auctions

Ken Nagler

Great fun for young and elementary aged kids!

MaryAnn Smith

Wonderful experience.

Jennifer Brown

I went here as a kid and as an adult the things I remembered as a child were still there. It was a great experience. There are lots of fun things to do. They added some nice elements for Halloween. The staff is super engaging and very welcoming. I would recommend checking this place out for sure.

Tory Greiner

Not a huge amusement park but perfect for kids about 2 to 8 years old. Ponies, mini roller coaster, gold mining, trains, and age appropriate wild west show. We had a blast.

Wieslaw Belica

Great for kids

tanner martin

Many childhood memories had here. Great place for young kids to just run around and have fun. Just one of those places that will always remind me of growing up.

John Rosenkrans

I took my 13 and 16 year old daughters, and told them that they were on the older side for this place. But we ended up having a great time, saw two kinda silly western shows, planned for fool's gold in their generous stream, ate ice cream sitting on a saddle, and enjoyed the surprisingly large museum. All the little kids there seemed to be having a good time, especially on the little roller coaster and pony ride. Can't wait to see what Ron does with the place.

Edward Slawinski

What a unique small amusement park. It is western themed. It has a museum with western / cowboy artifacts on display. The park is geared towards younger children . Rides are simple but great for the youngsters. They put on a live show which is fun to watch. Depending on crowds, plan on about 2 hours to enjoy the park.

Nicole Parker

Overall our experience was enjoyable. I found the many young people working to be knowledgeable and uninterested which is probably not surprising for a bunch of teenagers. The ticket price seemed steep, especially considering the rides are not unlimited. I was disappointed that the train was not running as it is one of the larger of the few attractions available. It also seemed odd that there were two large piles of horse poop in the playground area and no horses in sight. Not a bad one time trip for the kids.

chevywaldo

it's a great place to take young children one time. I had a wonderful time yesterday with my 2 grandsons (ages 4 & 7). I probably won't go back again, because my grandkids will be too old by then. Nice place, nice people. lots of activities to keep them busy for 3-4 hours. I used a groupon and got a good deal (half price). Do not expect to spend a full 6-8 hours here. 4 hours is enough time to do everything and have a good time, especially if it's not crowded. they sell food and drinks there, but like any other entertainment place, I would recommend eating before you get there. food is not great and overpriced as you would expect.

Diane Trznadel

Great wholesome family place!!

Jacob Friesen

Went here when they were still closed but enjoyed the out front attractions there.

Kathy Kunst

A great Western themed location for the family. I would recommend this location for kids ages 12 and under. The great part is that all the activities are included! Kids can pan for gold, participate in a gun fight show in the arena, bow and arrow activities, and canoe rides. A great place for a day trip, not too far from Chicago.

Denise Gerlach

Such a cute place for the younger ones. Their favorite was the show. All of the employees were very kind and would greet the kids with a, Howdy Partner! The kids had a blast, we even went to Legoland the next day and they said the Wild West place was their favorite! The only concern I had was the lack of cleanliness in the pony corral. The pony's were well taken care of, plenty to eat and drink, but the corral was full of their waste. You can tell it had been there a while and wasn't cleaned very recently. Aside from that, it was a fun time!

jennifer

Amazing place for kids. They have great staff, a really fun wild west show, panning for gold(pirite), tomahawk throwing, face painting, pony rides, kiddy coaster, kiddy shooting range and much more! The food is good and well priced the shakes are large! Fun gift shop and museum kids under 13 will have the most fun they have free days check website

Nicholas Weber

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff they really understand the history and there's alot of pride in the collection they have here.

Eric Mayo

Very kid friendly. My kids were put in jail then deputized. Pony rides and mini roller coaster.

Sophie Norton

Little bit of a "campy" feel, live music on Friday and Saturday, old West decorations, really good food as well.

Chris Grage

The wild west museum is super awesome

Barry Reddoch

Took my grandkids to this place the only thing bad was the train was not working the show needs some work but okay the kids had a great time

Swiss

I dont know why they turned the awesome gun show into a musical, but it used to be my favorite part of going to this park. Was also very disappointed in the new restaurant.

Susan Tesch

Most activities were fine for under ten except the show was horrible.

Chad Vance

There is a terrible smell in the main building that they should really address.

Veronica Signorelli

Lots of fun, everyone was super friendly and nice. There is so much to do and the kids had a great time.

Victor Pierce

It was ok. The same attractions as in the past. I knew the venue had changed to music, but I have to be brutally honest, the show was terrible. Two songs and a talking horse??? My kids were disappointed and told me it was too short and not good at all. The photo booth needs a revamp so it is streamlined. Sessions take up to 30+ minutes. If it was a really busy day, we probably wouldn't have been able to get the photos done. It is nice that there are no longer tickets for the games and kids can do as much as they want, but to give some solid advice, Onestis should reconsider the show. It was bad enough that I probably won't return.

My Cub Scout Pack had an awesome time at Donley’s Wild West Town. We had our Fall Family Campout here and could not be more pleased. The boys loved exploring the park all day. The Wild West Show was a lot of fun. The museum tour was great and really held the boys’ interest. The camping area was perfect for Cub Scouts. The best part about Donley’s Wild West Town is the staff. Everyone was incredibly nice and really helpful. We can’t wait to come back!

Overall fantastic, kids had a ton of fun and a majority of the staff was awesome. Only 4 stars because the staff member running the kids archery was pretty rude to the kids, can tell he wasnt very comfortable or used to being around children.

A great time for kids under 10. Bigger kids may not enjoy it as much. This was probably a great place 20 years ago, but is becoming a bit run down now. Management needs to do some serious upgrades.

Kel Boy

Awesome place to visit. Great place to take pics and have memories.

First time here and my children aged 9 and 3 had a blast! We were here for almost 5 hours and it was still hard to get them to leave. All of the employees were fun and engaging. The show was quite fun too!

Fun for small kids and adults who like sifting through rocks for fools gold. They have a museum and a show and rides that follow the western theme.
