We offer you all the feddbacks of real people who consumed the services of Jak\'s Warehouse (Park) in Illinois.
Right now the firm has a score of 4.2 over 5 and this rating is based on 885 reviews.
You may have noticed that it has an average rating is very high, and it is founded on a high number of opinions, so we can be quite sure that the valuation is quite faithful. If there are many people who bothered to leave their review when they are pleased, it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to place evaluations when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Park corresponds to the category of Amusement center.
Lots of fun!! Even my son and nephew, who are both three, had a lot to do. Although mainly more for older kids, even little ones can enjoy themselves.
This is a great place to take the kids. They have indoor go kart, laser tag, conference course, and plenty of arcade games. It works on a card system, you buy credits they load them on a card then you swipe them at the games. They have party rooms upstairs and party packages can be purchased. Typical type pizzas drinks and so forth. Very well run. I saw lotta kids having fun and not a lot of cryers. Please hit “Like” if this was helpful. Thanks.
Had my 6 year old twins bday there....less than impressed. Sorry my review is long but I feel the need to express my experience, (good/bad). Although I like Jak's for just a fun place to bring the kids, I would not recommend for a bday celebration. Let me explain why... I ordered my food in advance and asked if the pizza could be cut into squares instead of triangles. I was told it was no problem. When the party started, I was told food order was incorrect so the hostess had to make some corrections which took additional time to cook/prepare. Fast forward, pizza came, they were not cut in squares but triangles so they took them back (which seemed like forever) and just cut them in smaller triangles. No big deal...except now pizza is cold, kids are hungry, anxious and wondering when is the party going to start. We had a large party of 30 kids and only 1 host/hostess who was constantly running back and forth and didn't seem to know how to handle a large party. Myself and another guest actually ended up serving the other guest because time was running out and we only had the room for 1 hour. It was chaotic, unorganized and rushed. Before my guest could finish eating, the hostess bought out the cake, sang happy birthday and hurriedly served the cupcakes and then we were the rushed out of the room apparently for the next party. When I went to settle the bill, I discovered they had charged me for more people than I had on my list that I had given them. Yep, they actually let people up to the party room that were not on my list and wanted me to pay the additional charges. Thankfully the manager on duty resolved the issue without incident. Food selection is minimal and they do not allow you bring outside food, cake into the facility. Please think twice about having a party here, do your research..... For me, I felt like it was more about the money, rather than the experience.
Great fun. Lots to do. Inside needs bold colored walls
Great place for a family outing!!
Great place and reasonable prices, you really don't get a ton of tickets from the games though. But overall kids had fun!
It was an adventure! I went to Jak's Warehouse kind of skeptical because of all these unpleasant reviews, but I was happily surprised. The staff did their job kindly and well. The food at Forklift Cafe was wonderful, filling my family up for more fun. The atmosphere was exciting and fun; people there were clearly having a great time. The tickets you redeem from games you play have high values, but that is understandable since Jak's gives you so much already! The sky trails were my personal favorite, because I felt like I was Tris in Divergent doing brave things. I was pleasantly frightened at that fact. The go carts are great because everyone has an equal chance at beating the person in front of them, and there is friendly competition. The bumper cars are groovy, so make sure you ask the staff how to turn in them and I promise you will love it. I enjoyed an enticing game (or two) of laser tag that had great hiding places and intense battle. The sinister feeling when you sneak up and shoot someone and then they turn around and you are gone is unbeatable. You guys just go and have yourselves an unforgettable memory, and write your own google review on how you thought it was!
My kid had alot of fun here!
Had a fantastic experience tonight. We drove 1.5 hrs for something fun to celebrate my son's 3rd Birthday. The facility was CLEAN! Each section was well staffed and each staff member we encountered was friendly, patient & helpful. The large pizza that came with the family package we weren't able to stay and enjoy, so they boxed it up for us to take home! My son had a blast & we are already planning our next trip.
The grandkids really love this place. Thanks
An amazing place for kids to enjoy. Very nice selection of things to do. The atmosphere is really cool. I recommend going on a Wednesday night special or with a coupon as it is fairly expensive otherwise. Great place to create Memories and highly recommended
Every thing was closed
Awesome place came with my 9yr old and her school...
Fun place for kids.
GREAT,my granddaughter's birthday, and we loved it!!!!
Attended my grandsons Birthday party the kids had a blast !
good for kids 56 inches
Very dirty, service in the concession stand was ridiculous. Not crowded all, took 20 minutes for them to make my child a pretzel, the only other customer was behind me and he waited 50 minutes for a small pizza. Not worth time or money spent.
great place for kids and adults. arcade, bumper cars, laser tag, go karts. lots of fun.
One of the kids had a boot on for a sprain and they neglected to say that she would not be able to do the laser tag, bumper cars, too short for go carts, we figured not the rope climbing or wall climbing but the others she could do.
Very fun place good for kids
I love Jak's Warehouse! So many things to do and games to play! Bumper cars! Wall climbing! Lazor tag! Go-karts! The list goes on! You can even get a bite to eat upstairs!
Fun for kids
This is an awesome place to take your kids. We have been there many times for birthdays and such.
Awesome! Go on Wednesday and it's a little cheaper but 4 hours is the perfect amount of time. Pizza at the restaurant was good! Great experience and we will be going back! My boys loved the rock climbing wall. Go karts were a long line and were on the slower side.
I am a senior, not enough seating when you are not with a party. Too much personal information needed ,DOB,DL, while paying cash. Too short or too tall for most rides/activity. You are not told before paying.
My nephew's 3rd time visiting, and we both really enjoyed. We will be back.
A little pricey but s fun place for kids.
Great place for the kids. Get in here for family fun.
We got gift cards and just enjoyed being able to have the unlimited wristbands bogo on Wednesday night
Great place, friendly staff. Playground work extremely nice. Will be coming back.
Everything is good except having to fill out a waiver on your first visit.
Very cool place to hang out! The staff members are very helpful and polite! The pizza is ok. The prices are a little high, but there are coupons and early bird specials on the weekend. Ill visit several more times.
They need to reevaluate the young teens working there. They have inappropriate conversations ave gestures for a family friendly environment.
Took First Baptist Church Children
Great place for the entire family. A lot of fun!
It's fun here, the sky walk is a thrill!
Very pricey, even prizes take a huge amount of tickets
great fun place, carts go slow but fun. crazy 3 tier walk thing.
It's a fun place to visit but some of the things dont look so safe
It was so much fun me and my fam and
Kids love it! Great place to have kids birthday party! Friendly, helpful staff! I like that I was able to see the whole place from several different areas. Highly recommend!!
Fun Amusement park with indoor go kart track and climbing wall.
Jak's Warehouse has a wonderful mix of stationery, riding, and physical activities; my kids were so exhausted they fell asleep on the drive home. We will definitely be back soon!
Awesome and fun but a bit pricy
Took my kids here a few days ago. Didn't enjoy it at all. Cursing from the manager AND employees!!! We were standing near the counter and they were all using very foul language and not talking about anything appropriate in a work environment!! Horrible.
$23 for 3 hours of attractions sound good until you realize you’ll spend 90% of your time in line. 16 people in line to get in only 1 register open. In our 3 hours we only got to ride the go karts twice and the bumper cars once. The go karts are slow and the bumper cars are so padded with air you can’t feel the impact. We won’t be back.
They staff at the go Karts move so slow. That I had to leave. But I had fun with my school. I even kept my own Jak’s warehouse rechargeable game card. The staff are nice. But they move slow at the go karts.
Cool games. But expensive. Plan to bring alot of money especially if you have 2 kids.
Super fun place and great for birthday parties but it's easy to lose sight of your kids because of how crowded it can be
It was fun we went for a field trip so the prices were not that expensive. However the prices normally are quite expensive and the gaming cards are expensive as well.
omg soooo fun i wanted to go back so bad
Fun for all ages. I loved that it wasn't to big so it was easy to keep tabs on many children at once.
First time there, was well worth the price. There are so many things for kids of all ages to do. You pay one set price and the kids get to play unlimited for 3 hours.
Great place to go with a bunch of kids! Wednesday was buy 1 get one free!!
Fun for all ages. This is one of my daughter's favorite places. From the rock climbing wall to the rope walk, she loves it all.
Always fun! Can be expensive but if you take the day and do everything you can get your moneys worth.
Walked in & you MUST SIGN A WAIVER!! LIKE, wth!!! Definitely not a place to bring your toddler! My daughter went into Ballacity and she got in the head by a knee by a kid that was to old and tooo tall to be in there with her!!
Great place to take the kids to let some steam out!!!
My son love it
Very impressed with the staff, and definitely a great place to have some fun
Great place to just let your kids go and you sit and relax
They want you to go to the party room for the first hr eat, cake and presents. The pizzas were not ready till 11:30 so all the 10 yrs old were bored because they couldn’t use there cards till after the party room things were over. I had to ask the manager to add time. The credit card and atm were down so you couldn’t add money on cards or purchase food or drinks after we left the party room. Maybe if the food was last there wouldn’t have been kids puking because they are first. Very disorganized not having another party there.
I'll give it 4 stars because the kids are having fun, and the staff is nice and has dealt with every issue fine. The games are in such a state of disrepair that it's disappointing. There's a ton of staff here and virtually no one in the place, but no one is working on games.
Great for the kids, adults will like laser tag and maybe the laser.maze with their children food is pretty good and they have amazing party packages
Been here about 6 or 7 times with our 5 year old.. Place is really cool with great games. Half the ticket games are broken most of the times Ive been there and most of the staff are seemingly very depressed teenagers. Some are super nice... most seem miserable like they dont like kids. Close to a 5 star and close to a 1 star... Fix your uninterested staff.. Oh.. the Lazer Maze room needs a really good cleaning. It smells pretty rank.
Cool place with tons to keep kids busy f9r hours.
We had a lot of fun here. We didn't eat though but we played and got on the attractions til we were tired. 4 hours is a long time
Fun place for kids. Of all ages young and old. Tuesday are the best!
Price was cheap. Indoor go-karts were nice and the lazer tag was fun. Good time spent with the family would go again.
Fun for groups. Toddlers and babies, not so much. The only baby thing is the ball pit, but it is 3 levels with ball guns on the higher levels. The loud gokarts are next to the pit, and the rock wall is on the other side. Kids 2 and under, leave them at home unless you don't mind sitting around while everyone else has fun.
Who doesn't love Jaks! A staple and pillar of fun in Northwest Indiana! My husband and I took our son to celebrate his 6th Birthday and boy did we ever! We drove, climbed played games, ate food, laughed and made memories to last a life time. Oh I forgot to mention that we did laser tag! Thanks Jaks for showing us fun fun FUN! This pla e is perf6fpr birthdays, field trips, groups and "just because" days. Head to Jaks and have some fun!
Really enjoyed this place the staff is awesome. It was very affordable and they something for everyone.
Its fun and there nice
This is a great place to go with the kids especially on the day that they have there specials, ...its literally hours if unlimited fun the kids and they just love it and the food is actually pretty good, atleast non of the children complained. I will definitely take my son back . The special was $22 for one person and it included basically everything except 1 attraction and you can play any game but you can't win any tickets. I believe it is either every Tuesday or Thursday I'm not sure which day though
So much fun. Got my daughter out of her comfort zone
In the past this has been a fun place to take my kids. Today though was absolutely horrible. The biggest problem was that it was ridiculously hot inside there. Even just walking around with my kids was making me sweat, and this was at 6pm not early when they first opened. So you would think that after 8 hours, the place would he somewhat cool. They took out the lowest level of the skytrail so my youngest couldn't do that and she really enjoyed it in the past. Really the only good thing was the go karts, and that was just to cool off from how hot it is in there.
It's a really fun place for kids and adults. They have an arcade, lazer tag and more. They have a party room that you can book a birthday. Only downside is it can get pricey, but check the website they do have some days where they offer unlimited play for $20 a person. Definitely recommend it for a day the kids are off school or a fun first date idea.
We went for my daughter's 12th Birthday and it was nice, not what we expected for visiting the website but overall it was nice. The waiting in line thing will never be a thing for us. I feel they should readjust on that. You'll spend most of your unlimited 4hours just waiting in the bumper car line. Ridiculous. The rock climbing was fun, and we really enjoyed the 3d ride game with the zombies. Great place for family under 9yrs old I think. But very nice place to go to for entertainment
My son enjoyed it very much. He had his area to play with out the big kids.
Lots of fun for me and the kids
Seemed a little expensive for what options were available for my sons age. Perhaps in a few more years it will be a little better for him. 26 dollars for 4 hours of play.
I’ve been there five times that’s how good it is for kids
Very good place to bring the kids, so much to do. Was there sat 9/29 around 2pm. The blonde kid running bumper cars has a very nice attitude.. foods a little pricey. Place was clean.
Took our 3.5 year old daughter here for the first time tonight and while definitely a little pricey, it was so much fun for all of us!
Visit was pretty good
It was cool and my kids had a blast
Overall play area great prices for attractions great, but the food is horrible and not priced well
Very fun time. No complaints. Good staff. The pizza is good. Don't eat the salad.
Awesome place to takethe kids. Get there before noon and save 10 bucks
Tiffany helped us at the front desk and was very friendly and accommodating. Noah was great at the ticket counter. Had a great time with the family.
Horrible experience. The price is outrageous for a hour in party room.Staff need to be extra clear about the length of the time in party room. Unprofessional staff. I had to ask the host for the cupcakes that was suppose to be provided to me. Food left in party Room uncovered by staff before guest arrived. I would advice people not to waste their time booking a party with this company. I would never go back.
Great indoor amusement for children. Prices are a little high. Not much for smaller children. Check website
Tuesdays they have $20 wristbands that allows kids mostly all of the attractions starting at 3 or 3:30
Best place anywhere around here to take a large group of crazy children, hands down
Go carts, laser tag, laser maze, 3D multi-shooter ride with 4 different stories (8 person ride). Rock climbing (3 courses), bumper cars (sorta like bumper boats, but with cars), sky trail with a little kid trail. No outside food, has cafe on second floor. Fair number of video games. Uses reloadable cards to swipe and save tickets. Our pre-teens had a lot of fun.
Absolutely fun! Will be going back.
This place was set up pretty nice with lots of activities for the kids and no ticket collecting to redeem toys they just simply scan for your child's activities BUT the food could be a whole lot better!
The best place around. Clean. Always safe.
Expensive !!! But a good time for you and your kid.
Great family activities! Less expensive than some other options. Indoor and climate controlled.
Service is awesome, and my kiddos love it!
When the kids are a bit too old for Chuck E Cheese, this is the place to go. Has things for all ages to do as well as adults. Food and redemption center to earn prizes. The ultimate bracelet is a bit pricey- but well worth it. The time flies by so fast.
A little pricey. Kids loved it though. Good for all ages.
Lovely place for the kids to play the food is kid worthy definitely not for adults
Had such a amazing time but the first lady at the lazer tag was a c*nt and just yelled at everyone
This place rocks! My kids love it and it even has stuff for the big kids.
Great time
Staf is frendly special the staf at food court . Only thing maybe need more stuf for little kids otherwise we loved!=
Best place ever. LOVED IT SO MUCH!!!!! I SUGGUEST IT TO ALL OF YOU!
Kinda pricey to play the arcade games. The wrist bands for the attractions are priced fairly. I would like to see some pinball and 80s style games for the adults to play while kids are playing those dumb ticket games they like. And more seats placed around
Similar to D&B, but a lil better because they have more attractions. Go carts, wall climbing, bumper cars, laser tag, big maze for kids, very fun place nice and spacious. Good pricing and a ton of games.
Good for little kids and big kids, one guy in the laser tack had a very nice attitude, very funny and very helpful with the little kids
Great family fun
Fun, but not enough to do.
The place was clean and staff was great and very helpful my children had an excellent time and the unlimited wrist bands are fairly priced
Poor and rude customer service. Great management. Clean facility.
I had fun there when I was a child
Great for family fun. We have done a few parties here as well.
This is the best value entertainment in the region for kids and teenagers. 4 hours for about $30 per kids isn't too bad considering all the activities available. It's clean and safe.
My kids had a ball!! This was our first time. We will definitely be back.
Best place for family fun but they keep raising the prices and shortening the time allowed for the money.
This place has gone downhill with the new ownership. The most popular games have been broke for several months and the prices are straight from the Dollar General. There is no point for the kids to win tickets because the prize booth is all garbage now. You can easily spend $100 and walk away with a couple cheap Chinese toys from the dollar store. This place is way overpriced for everything, the claw machines cost $2-4 a turn and the regular games that should cost .50 cents cost around $2. I avoid this place now and will continue to stay away until the current owners sell
Fun for a rainy day! My son is 3 and had a blast.
Went for the first time this past Sunday, kids and I absolutely loved it! Staff were very friendly and patient. The arcade was great, lots of games to choose from. I've seen a lot of people say that it is expensive to go. In my opinion, $35 for a wristband that allows unlimited access to all attractions (except the XD ride, you only have 2 rides included) and $15 worth of credits for the arcade for three hours is more than fair! Add in the BOGO gift cards and $10 off wristbands on certain days, and I turned $70 into almost three visits. Definitely going back for another visit soon and recommending to anyone who is looking for a family friendly activity.
We had a great time we went at the perfect time when not very many people where there I think of it was busy it wouldn't of been as much from because of waiting in line
Had a ball there. Food was ok. Food prices decent but games are kind of costly. All and all a nice place for all.
It's an awesome place to be at kids and even adults will love it.
Visiting from Los Angeles for a birthday celebration. Awesome place for the kids to enjoy but for the parents a bit costly... Only 3 stars however, you definitely need more sales and discounts, that would result into 5 stars for the Children and the Parents. Think about it.... You want the parents to be able to repeatedly bring their children not just once a year for their birthday.
This is a cool place. However, they are definitely on the pricer side. Also, they have some height and footwear restrictions you should look into before hand. My kids had a good afternoon at Jack's.
Great place for kids
This place is ok but we had a bad experience one summer when we went and they didn’t inform us the air conditioner was broken and it was. 95degree day and we had just purchased wrist bands for the kids there was no circulation in the building and we felt as if we couldn’t breathe . We had to ask the manager to issue a refund due to the extreme heat and we informed them they should let the customers know that there was an issue with the ac . Other than that the place is a decent place to take the kids for fun
Really had a nice family experience. We enjoyed ourselves. I just wish it was more for my 3 and 4 yr old to do.
This was a very fun place this is not a add vs reality thing it’s a very fun and if your child likes chucks chese bring them here instead a lot cheaper prices and much more to do 5 state rating
Fun place to hang out with my children.
A lot of different activites to keep everyone busy and wear them out.
Nice place for families. I like the arcade because its affordable. The games are mostly between 2 and 4 points. They also have a nice physical challenge course. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location was very clean and well kept.
We had a ball
Had fun here with me nephew n kids .. they wish that the sky trail had more to it like where they cud zip across.. also I wish they didnt make parents have to get a wristband if ur jus gettin on to ride with someone under the amount of inches ... the prices are around 35 for the ultimate wristband.
Okay, make sure u called before going. Credit card machine was down. My kids went to purchase a shake and the lady told them they couldn't get a shake cause it wasn't enough staff to make it... (unbelievable
My kids always enjoy themself and so do I
My kids love going here we all had a great time but I will say it is very pricey...
Jak's Warehouse is an awesome place. My grandsons got to play for four hours for around $30 each. They have climbing walls, bumper cars, go carts, laser tag, a ball room with tunnels to climb through, lots of terrific video games, air hockey, benches for mom & dad, and a restaurant with delicious pretzels on the 2nd level. You do need to sign a liability waiver; which you can do on the computers by the front entrance. You then pay for the kids, and they give each child a wristband and a plastic card. The card is for playing the various games as well as keeping track of their playing time. Jak's Warehouse has tons of stuff to do, is very clean, and has a pleasant staff. I would definitely recommend you bring your kids here for their birthdays. They'll think your the greatest parents or grandparents ever!
Fun, clean, and reasonable play pass prices! Just need an adults bar! Lol
I have a mixed rating. This is my first time here. Gaming is great and entertaining but the raw boneless wings were a complete turnoff.
It's ok not much for lil kids tho
Good customer service. Lost my phone in there got it back right away. Plus I bring cash to tip the young men and women in there for helping assist me with my daughter when I come to town. Food is great and the atmosphere is energetic. Hope they are ready to expand cause everyone from the City now knows about this place.
Went to jaks today for my daughters birthday, had so much fun!!! Israel at the front register was great! My daughter loved The Dark Ride & Laser Tag. we definitely come back soon
The extra most fun place to take your children for birthday party or even just family fun day. They have everything in one. Laser tag, Go Karts, Bumper Carts, Wall Climbing, 4D rides, and a Huge arcade. My kids and I love the staff here they're so lively and energetic and fun. Bring your family here it's the place to be.
The place it self is great I especially like the new 3d experience they have. What I didn't appreciate was the fact that the air had just been turned on at 5:00 pm. It was in the upper 90's today which made it hot and humid inside the place.
Good environment here love having fun
Clean fun! Laser tag was great. Needs more games though! Sometimes the parents want to play!
Kinda pricey. But kids had a blast even us big kids . They have a great ball fun area in the jungle gym. They have nice go carts and bumper cars .
I have been to many places similar to this place. It seems as if you been to any play place for children they are very much similar. I wanted this place to be different, but is really like Fun time Square, Enchanted castles, and Funway. I think you all get the picture. One copy and everyone is doing the same theme. Its getting harder to find some where to take my grands. There are no great places. I wouldn't say not to come here. It was a cool experience.
This place is so fun i love this
A great place to be and full of fun activities to keep your children busy. They just need to improve on the quality of the pizzas.
This truly deserves a negative star. Upon arriving at Jacks for my nieces bday party I was greeted by an anti black dress code policy. I felt very unwelcome but didnt want to make a scene and take away from my baby niece so I decided to stay. The party went on and as we were about to leave the kids decided to cash in their game tickets for prizes. Jack's closes at 8 pm on Sundays and it was around 7:55 pm. The kids were all in line patiently waiting their turn when an armed guard dressed in full armour, bullet proof vest included decided to come into the ticket room and intimidate the kids with his presence in an effort to force them to hurry their transactions. I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN!! IF YOU ARE A PERSON OF COLOR especially a black person of color please be careful if you choose to continue to patronize this predjudice establishment.
Came into the place for the first time, excited although we had heard that all the attractions would have long lines. When we walked in, there were three other families ahead of us and two already at the counter. We stood and waited for close to ten minutes and when we were finally able to go to the counter, we were met with”Have you signed the waiver yet?” What waiver? The clerk points to a sign behind her in small letters stating that a waiver needed to be signed to enter. Now we had to step out of line after waiting our turn and fill out a waiver at a nearby kiosk. QUESTION 1: Why is there not a CLEARLY visible sign when customers first walk in to state that a waiver needs to be signed before proceeding? - - I actually walked out and then walked back in to see if I could spot a sign stating this. There was a small sign in one of the upper window blocks that simply talked about signing a wait on-line to avoid the kiosks. But truly would not have noticed this if I weren’t trying to read every sign on the way in. QUESTION 2: If a person has to step out of line to fill out a waiver, shouldn’t someone assist them and then take them to the counter personally so they don’t have to wait in line a second time? - - Truthfully there were tons of workers standing around doing a whole lot of nothing. They could probably do this without even affecting there payroll. Anyway, that was not going to happen in my case... we filled out the the waiver and I walked right up to the counter as the clerk said she could help the next person. Got in a tussle with a customer but what’s right is right. I wasn’t trying to upset the other person... I was trying to make a point to the people at this establishment. I will be praying that more people take this posture so that Jaks takes the nearly $200 that I dropped for my daughter and her friends and invests in a sign or hires a greeter to make sure that no one else has to go through this aggravation!
