The water park was fun but I am deeply disturbed by the way that one of the staff members looked at, bit his lip, and winked at a friend of mine (and various other under aged girls) as we approached the long tube ride. It would be a really great place if management was competent enough to hire employees that weren't runners up for the hills have eyes 3.

Not as big as we were expecting. Not sure if I would spend the money stay more than one day. We were only there 5 hours and my kids were bored. Slides are short but kinda fun for awhile. The wave pool is fun

This place is a lot of fun for the whole family......when they're open. Please call to find out their hours before you waste your time driving. Do not trust the website. We have driven 60 miles round trip on 2 occasions as their website said they were open when they were not. When we stop in the hotel to inquire, they are less than helpful. Customer service at its worst.

This water park is the real deal. It has water slides, family water slide, surfing wave, mini obstacle course, lazy river, hot tub, play structure, splash area, toddler pool, restaurant, and clean restrooms and showers. They provide the towels too and the water is heated and all the pools are indoors. We went 2 days and enjoyed both of them.

I find it odd that some people have said bad things. The place is a blast, their hours are clearly posted, and in this day and age one would think even a caveman can call and check the hours on weekdays. Kids love it, the staff is awesome.

My 7 year old son was badly injured at the top of one of the slides on the miner's landing. When he got to the bottom of the slide, he was crying and had blood dripping down his back. None of the life guards noticed! I was lucky to be right at the bottom to take care of him. He had a large marble sized laceration on the back of his head from a sharp point at the top of the slide, where he slipped and hit his head. I took him to the first aid room, all the while his blood was dripping everywhere. The first aid room had a sign on it stating to find the nearest life guard for assistance. I did so, only to be told to go to the life guard with the red shirt (which all of them had on). When I got a better description and figured out who they were talking about, I was told by him that he would help me as soon he could find someone to cover his station and to go ahead into the first aid room and see if I could find gauze . I went into the room and couldn't find any gauze. I went back out with my son, still blood dripping all down his back, to try to get help again. Thankfully the 2nd life guard was able to come in and help. He put on gloves and found gauze, which my son quickly soaked thru. It was clear after getting a better look at the injury that we needed to get him to the ER. I asked for an ice pack. I left the first aid room to go find my husband and other children so we could get back into our room and get our keys to go to the ER. Several other swimmers had seen the accident and asked if my son was okay. On our way out the door to the ER, we were stopped to fill out a second form. At the ER, the doctor was able to use surgical glue to seal it up. The DR stated that he had been working a double shift and it was the 4th injury he had seen from the water park! Thankfully my son didn't have a concussion. The whole experience was frustrating. It took way to long to get help! It was at least 10 minutes before we had any assistance. None of the life guards noticed what was happening on their own. What if he had been knocked unconscious, he could have drowned!!!! ++ In addition, the lazy river is not a consistent depth, which caused me to scrap my knee while floating with my daughter. A minor injury, but frustrating. Also the large dump buckets are way too strong. There are signs stating they are powerful but they are impossible to completely avoid. The force of the water was so strong that it was uncomfortable and a little painful to be dumped on. Finally, when we first got to the park, someone had spit on the ground in the splash pad like area and another customer was trying to clean it up with water from the sprinkler. Gross! It seems clear to me that more staff is needed both for first aid and cleaning. Further first aid training and a reevaluation of the safety of their park is also needed.

Arrived at 8-ish. Front Desk, and accommodations were friendly and adequate. The restaurant seemed overly busy, was told basically you should eat elsewhere, but that we could have food in about an hr and a half. I have worked in F&B a long time, and appreciated the heads up on the time. Maybe the kitchen was catching up, but the tables were mostly empty, yes the bar had other customers. Still we sat for a solid 30 mins before being offered water for kids .. not a big deal. Went to the water park the next day. Let kids play, ordered a beer .. one over foamed glass was sitting to let the bubbles settle, watched the second glass also foam up as she'd just changed the keg. Again no big deal, UNTIL the bartender proceeded to pour glass A into glass B, and strained the foam off through her fingers in front of me, and then handed it to me with a smile and nothing else to do. I want to have fun, and I want not to set off workers when they have their own way of handling things, but the Food side of this place SUCKS, and the food was barely better IMO. Sorry. This was about 3 days ago, I didn't want to even write the review, but was pushed by my coworkers after telling them the story. "Unbelievable!" they say. "Totally believable" I say, just saaaaad.

Fun stuff, low cost for what it is, the life gaurds are sometimes strange like they dont realise they are primarily customer service representatives and and have a secondary function of being required to rescue people drowning in 2 ft of water or a hot tub. My advice teach your people to act like they are happy to serve and see customers and throttle back demonstrating their self importance, attitude is important.

Great deal with a room. Kids will have a blast. Tube rides are a bit short but the raft ride is fun. You cant drink in the lazy river which is the first I've heard of that in a lazy river . There is a cool tiki bar upstairs and great service and reasonable prices drinks at $7. Cheaper than the bar outside.

We love to visit Silver Mountain, stay in the condo room 504 and visit the water park. Never had a bad time here! All seasons, plenty to do, all walk able and almost the entire staff is helpful & entertaining!

We have been there several times before and truly enjoyed it. but yesterday was a joke. So many features were broken in the big kid play area, the tube lines were shut down, the burgers were way over cooked and the food is too high priced for the quality. $15 for a sundae are you kidding me, we just had a $3 ice cream at silver wood that would dwarf their $15 idea. They were out of spoons, out of whip cream, it took over 20 minutes to get food and we were the only ones that had ordered anything. The family tube ride only had two tubes available which made for long lines. I dont mind paying good money if the quality is there.

Great place to bring the kids. Indoor water park, and very humid inside. Almost to much in the summer if you aren't swimming though. They have a variety of water features, such as big and small water slides, bucket dumping water, water surfing, kiddy pools, etc. They also have snacks, drinks, and a gift shop. I think the price is a little too high for the size, but otherwise a great activity to wear out the kiddo's!

Amazing! Can't say enough good things. It's not an overly but waterpark but it has a lazy river that is always fun. There is a kids area that has kids sides and a baby area with tiny sides. There are adult tube rides and a huge family tube ride. They don't allow outside food but the cafe has a nice selection and they have alcohol for adults. There are cabanas to rent also. The park is free for guests of the hotel up to the number of people allowed in your hotel room, but hotel guests can also purchase extra passes for the room at a discount. The waterpark sells non guest passes as well online, or you can call to see if they have passes for the day off non are advertised online. You can also call and get discounts for outside non-guest groups of 15 or more.

The water park is great. No complaints there. However, it’s ridiculous how many wrist bands we have to wear. Just make different colored ones for the different levels or whatever like every other water park ever. Second, what’s the deal with the life guards? Do they not get enough sun or something because none of them looked happy to be there. When one of the tubes for the slide got stuck in the conveyer belt thing the guy walked over to the edge to look at what was going on but he didn’t do anything else. He sat there looking over the edge for 5 minutes. He didn’t say why we had to wait or anything. He didn’t even look at us. Third, chill out with the whistles. I was in the lazy river with my brother and he swam under one of the tubes. Then the lifeguard, who was sitting literally with in arms reach of me, (and keep in mind the river is 3 feet deep. He could save a kid on he other side of the river without even getting in the water) he saw my brother under water and blew his whistle, right next to me, to ask if my brother was fine. He could’ve just asked with his voice. Anyways I guess just make sure your lifeguards are happy because everyone can tell they don’t want to be here.

We make this an annual trip and each year it continues to go downhill. There is no maintenance or upkeep being done it continues to get more run down. Never saw a single person do any clean up the two days we were there. The garbages were over full and garbage on the ground all over. I reported that the changing rooms were very dirty and towels were all over and then someone went in and cleaned it up. They were nice when I told them but if they had someone checking the changing rooms I wouldn't have to tell them. Bathrooms were so gross the floors were so dirty with hair and toilet paper and to think it all goes right back out to the pools GROSS! Anyway bottom line they need more staff for cleaning this place and to start doing some maintenance on the building. With the prices that are charging they should have enough money for the basic stuff. Cleanliness should be top priority in a place that charges $250 for a group of 4 to stay and have access to the water park. Staff have alwaya been nice and helpful so I want to make sure they are recognized for that. Also the food is good and they do their best and also seem to be working short and don't have enough staff in the kitchen either. Hope full there will be some changes and updates done to the water park facility soon.

We went as a guest of my sister, who was staying at Silver Mountain. I have 4 daughters, 3 of whom have special needs. One, a 10-year-old, is not a strong swimmer and wanted a life jacket to make her feel more comfortable. Sadly, the only life jackets available are for small children. I asked at the front desk and was informed that Silver Rapids does not have ANY adult-sized life jackets. I was disappointed not only for my 10-year-old with special needs, but also for any adults who are not strong swimmers and any other people with special needs who may need that little extra measure of safety and comfort.

We had a great time, and we only left because we ran out of time not because we became bored or complaisant like at some water parks. Our two daughters (15 & 7) were entertained for hours 3 days in a row, the Misses and I rather enjoyed ourselves as well! While we were at the water park we experienced great hospitality. The staff must really enjoy working there because over the course of 3 days we had ZERO interactions that were less than exceptional. All of the life guards were great, two stand outs where Teagan and Randy who were extremely friendly and fun to chat with before entering the tube rides or flow rider (special thanks for the tips Teagan provided for a first timer trying to surf) Ronnie provided great service and helped create a fun inviting atmosphere up top at the bar area, which is a great place for adults to hang out while still being able to see the entire park so the kids aren’t out of site. All and all it was a great experience and we will absolutely return in the near future.

We really loved this place. My kids are a little older now and they had a great time. For comparison, Great Wolf Lodge in Washington state is great, but more geared towards younger kids. The rooms were very nice and the laundry machines were a big bonus. Staff was great too.

Great place to come with the family. Nice indoor water park. Free admission to the park included with hotel stay. They have a lazy river, 3 slides, hot tub, wave riding, cantina and bar. The family studio comes with a kitchenette and king bed with Queen size sleeper sofa. 2 different restaurants on site and a few outdoor fire pits for roasting marshmallows.

The waterpark is great, the only problem is the morning star lodge. They have a beautiful resort, but they need to upgrade their TVs to flat screens with hdmi capabilities. Also, for the price, premium channels such as HBO or Starz should be offered.
