Really great pool for the kids. Adults enjoy soaking too. The playground is really fun and there is so much nice grass and a paved walkway all around the park.

Ordered a hamburger and fries. Fries were good hamburger was absolutely horrible. Patty was like finely ground mush. Had an odd taste. Was barely cooked like it was cooked in a warm pan. After 2 bites couldn't eat any more. Believe me I eat almost anything.

Beautiful park, well maintained. Nice playgrounds, covered eating areas and restrooms. Has a small amphitheatre that can be reserved. The public pool is right beside the park.

When I get bored of Caldwell I come here with my daughter and wife. It's quite a place! My daughter loves the pool and I do too. I've had a couple of barbecues here and the family digs the size of the Park.

Love to take the kids swimming here! It’s super cheap and fun for all of us. We can bring our own drinks and snacks so I don’t have to stress about leaving to feed/water them or spend a ton of money to buy snacks and drinks there. Been coming here since I was a kid!

Pool is great for kids 10 and under. The deepest part of the pool is 4 feet. There are many features in the pool to add variety and a fun splash pad area. Affordable! There is some shade structures. The disadvantages- limited number of chairs, bathrooms are not real clean, just an open changing area, and only two bathroom stalls. Teens would get bored quickly. On the park side we loved the size, variety, and the history. The train, airplane, etc are fun. We even set up our picnic right in the shade of the airplane.

Beautifully maintained. Paved paths. 3 separate playgrounds and a small cost friendly water park! There’s also a rose garden and baseball diamonds.

If you haven't been to Lakeview Park you have no reason to live. the fact that you haven't been there says a lot about you a lot of negative. When did it all go wrong for you when did it take the bad turn. Anyway it's too late now you can't go to Lakeview Park unless you're special and the fact that you haven't been there means you're not. So go buy a dollar hot dog at the gas station and sit in a Walmart hot parking lot and eat it that's your life now

I had just arrived here from Sacramento California yesterday and took my dog to the park. I had noticed it as I was driving through the city and I noticed it was very green well-kept and it even has a Creek in it with ducks. We really liked it a lot remind me of when I was younger and I lived in Fairfield. I came here looking for a new place to live I'm leaving California not sure yet if I'll be here in Montana but so far it's so much better glad I came!

Perfect for babies, toddlers, and weak swimmers! Love the zero entry and splash pad. Not for older kids who actually want to swim in deep water, but was great for our family at this younger stage of life!

Fantastic place for small children. One entire side of the pool (that is quite large) is only 18 inches deep. This side features various splash pad like features. There is also an actual out of pool splash pad. There is one slide with no swim test requirement. It is quite a lovely slide. The current at the bottom of the slide may overwhelm inexperienced swimmers a bit. It can get very crowded during peak hours.

I remember going to Lakeview Park as a young girl when my family moved to Nampa. I loved it. The gorgeous rose garden, the plane, fire engine and swimming pool. I'm 68 years old now and still enjoy going there to relax and enjoy my grandkids having fun. We are truly blessed with this park. Go and enjoy it with your family.

Beautiful park! This is one of the best parks I've visited even traveling to other states. The only thing it needs is new playground equipment. Well, updated. With it being 2019 and all the new technology and things we are learning, there are some really cool and fun equipment/toys the city could (should) invest in. This is the only reason I'm giving it four stars, but it is still an awesome park!

This park is really nice to spend time at. They have plenty slides and attractions for children. There is an area with plenty of seating and a roof to hold events. There is also a really beautiful artificial creek and pond. If none of that appeals to you then you can go for a lovely walk in the rose garden. They also have a very large grassy area where one can invite friends and family to play soccer, football, etc ... I gave it for stars because during traffic hour you can hear and see several vehicles on the street passing by. If you don't mind this then there is no problem at all!

A great place for young swimmers. Lots of shallow areas with fountains. They loan free life jackets if the kids want one too. We went on a hot busy day and it was short on seating and shade for the adults.

Lakeview Park is a diverse place for recreation. There's a duck pond, rose garden, swimming pool, seemingly endless field for playing ball, two separate play grounds, horseshoe pits, bike trails and picnic areas. I've been coming here since 1980. It's definately my favorite park in Nampa.

Visited for a family picnic and photos with family from out of town. Sunday was not too busy even in the summer. Plenty of trees around so everyone has shade. Nice little play ground scattered around the park. Multiple parking areas. Barbecue pit, amphitheater, and covered patio. This is really a great park. Please remember to pickup after your dog, there are no doggie bag stations.

Perks: rose garden is beautiful and well-maintained, nice walking paths, bathrooms we're adequate. drawbacks:Tables were rotting and needed to be updated, a huge group of smoking adults settled in near the playground and kept smoking despite it being a park and near children. It did not have the well-posted tobacco-free zone signs of Idaho that other parks in the area have.

Weeds are out of control. Duck pond us totally grown over with cat tails. Trash everywhere. The place is going downhill fast guys. Maybe the parks department supervisors should actually get out if their pickups and supervise ... or hey, maybe even do a little work???
