REVIEWS OF Piedmont Park IN Georgia

We ALWAYS LUV coming to Piedmont!!! We met family from out of town & they & their many children loved it!! We spend several hours there, just walking, enjoying the river animals & talking!! We just wish the water fountains could be upgraded with filters & actually be cold. We also saw several people with huge dogs with no leashes on...not happy about that.

Quite a nice place to go walk and spend the day out. There's a lot of shade from trees throughout the park, especially over the paths, so staying out of the overbearing sun is a lot easier here than some parks. Definitely worth the time, just be aware that parking in the area can be challenging, though that's pretty par for the course in Atlanta in general.

Richard .

Lovely big green space in the middle of Atlanta. Lots of utility, big fields for leisure, walking dogs, and ball games. Asphalt paths for runners, clay baseball pitches, and surfaces for volleyball. A lake where geese can be seen, playgrounds for kids. They even have a pool and botanical gardens nearby. Some beautiful sights of the Atlanta skyline can also be seen here.

Eric Morgan

The park is a great place to meet new friends get active or kill some time. There's always an event of some kind going on especially during festival and concert season. There are bars, great restaurants and ATL landmarks all around. If none of the above interest you, Just go to people watch. I promise you will be interested.

Great park, parking can be hard unless you park at the botanical gardens, largest park I've been to, its clean with a pool but i wouldnt trust it because they normally have a dog pool day! Great place to bring family and friends. Always some sort of event going on.

David Poore Day

Piedmont Park is very nice. A good place for walks, reading, it has a lot of different areas where you can find your vibe. Dog park, games for kids, a lake, sports playgrouds and also you can get to the beltline and the botanical gardens. I recommend it, great for runners.

Ashok Charan

Really big park and lush green. Lot of people doing jogging and cycling. Loved the scenic place.

Richard Artis

If you visit Atlanta, this should definitely be on your sight seeing list. There is always something going on in the park. Being your camera and enjoy nature or jump into one of the many ongoing festivals

Amy Huntley

I lived in Atlanta for 5 years and this was one of my very favorite places. This park is extraordinary and is reminiscent of Central Park on an obviously much smaller scale. Beautiful any time of the year!

Natalie Hamilton

Went here for the annual Atlanta Jazz Festival, it was an amazing time. The venue supported a large and diverse crowd, food trucks, tents, restrooms and two different stages. The grassy areas were family and dog friendly. The park was clean and had a lot of beautiful green space/plants.

octavian oliver

From 1pm to about 4, I had tried the food vendors, enjoy the Hula-Hoop, and danced until my heart was content. Great Festival.

Karen Sutton

Beautiful park! The park is clean and well-maintained. The Arts Festival had some very nice offerings. Despite the heat is was a great day to be outside.

Mikaela Towler

Great park in the perimeter. Lots and lots of space. Nature-y feel with a beautiful lake to walk across. The views here are spectacular. The scenery here is so pretty. It really is perfect for portraits, family pictures, prom photos, etc. There are so many festivals and events that take place here. Intramural teams practice and play here. It really is a nice environment and place that brings Atlanta together. My only gripe is that there is limited street parking. My advice is to find a residential street nearby, park on the street there (just ensure that you're not gonna be towed), and walk to the park. However, if you have a heavy load with lots to carry, have small kids who don't do well with walking more than you have to, or have trouble walking/limited ability and mobility, then it may be best to park in the Atlanta Botanical Gardens parking deck. It's $2 for the first hour then $1 for each additional 30 minutes I believe. There are lots of yummy restaurants nearby where you can grab a bite to eat or something to sip on. The dog parks are great for dog owners. If parks aren't your thing for your pup, you can walk them around on the trails throughout the park.

Kairy Marquez

Beautiful. Well-designed park in the middle of the city. Super chill. Clean. There’s something for everyone. Nice view of the Atlanta skyline. I was impressed.

Jasmine Dawn

I loved the Ice Cream Event all different cultures enjoyed dancing and eating and hanging out in the park. Great family fun! Dogs were welcomed. Good Music , good food. All affordable!

Ricky Johnson

The biggest green area in the city. The park is an amazing experience. It’s great for any occasion. You can sometimes attend events in the park, walk your dog, exercise or just a day out with friends to pass time. Great views of midtown and downtown from the park. I’ve been in the daytime and night time. I always come here just to clear my mind and get away from all the concrete and buildings .

Xavia Gantz

So beautiful. The view of sunset behind Midtown is amazing

Josh Stevens

Great park, kind of reminds me of Central Park in NYC. Awesome bike/walking paths. Plus a great place to uses electric scooters.

Cali Chriss

This is my favorite park in Atlanta! I call it the peoples park. They have pool, tennis courts, playground, trails, soccer, and outdoor exercise area! So beautiful and peaceful with a lake to! I ventured to get exercise but this is definitely a must! Absolutely love this park, only downfall is parking... first 30 min free then it starts to cost, Not to bad but I think I spent $4 for almost 2-3 hours... not bad at all compared to $9 at Centennial Olympic Park! Just very happy I went to Piedmont Park! You dont want to miss it! #peace #love #sswirl

Arynette Neal

First time here. Had a great time! Seems like they should have more public restrooms for such a big park.

Jordan Gonzalez

Great park. Open late. Playgrounds through out. Lots of events. Fishing might be a little difficult since the fish are pretty spoiled form all the people throwing food in the water for the turtles and ducks at the bridge near the swimming pool and playground, but in all, it's a great place to go for a walk, have a picnic, ride your bike or bring the kids.

Imran Sajid

Love Piedmont park! They got everything here! From basketball courts, tennis courts, playgrounds, huge walking area, a splash pad for kids, a huge lake area, picnic area and much much more. Very walk able and nice. Wish the kids playground was a little bigger and nicer, but overall this is a terrific place. I saw recently in the news they have plans for expansion which is great news!

Matthew Bass

Simply a beautiful well kept park. You can also pay to visit the botanical gardens.

Christin Shelton

Nice. Clean. Went to see the hot air balloons. Only complaint is the lack of clarity on how to get in and park. All in all a great place.

Mark Vescio

Love this park! My only complaint is that the trash tends to get overflowing quickly. Other than that, it's a fantastic park and a great way to spend an afternoon.

Kevin Joseph

The best park in Atlanta. Beautiful views. Awesome place to walk your dog.

Jojo Wan

I love the big fence in dog park and the dogs can round around and play with other dogs. And the pet owner very responsible pick up after their pet. I am a clean freak but I don't have any problem walking around.

Ingrid McNeely

The park was awesome. I participated in a 5k that started and ended in the park. Plenty of activities including a farmer's market, pool, basketball and tennis courts and gazebos for gatherings. Huge space great for a walk/run.

Nikie Lomax

Piedmont Park is scenic with lots of music and art festivals year round. It's a great place for families to gather and enjoy the charm of Atlanta. Plenty of open space for team sports or group activities. There's a swimming pool, children's playground and a beautiful lake. It's situated next to the beautiful botanical gardens.

David Mcglorrey

Always cool to see the city of Atlanta in a park ! Everyone come to this park giving it a uniquely Atlanta vibe. A huge mix of people from all ethnicity and life styles frequent the park with it being centrally located in midtown . There is always a weekend event taking place at the park . I recommend this park for someone visiting Atlanta who wants to see the ambience for cheap !

Jacob W

Beautiful green space right in the city with plenty of trails to enjoy. Great way to get out in nature without the commute.

david morrow

Oh my God this is the most wonderful Park in the whole state of Georgia I grew up there fished in the pond when I was a child it brings back a lot of great memories love being there

Emily Tanner

Love this park!!!! There is plenty of parking (paid), lots of green space and I always see available security. The pools close after Labor Day so be aware!!

Gaurav Dora

The park is huge and beautiful! If you're planning a day out in Atlanta... This place is can be a great option for you and your family/friends. There's two soccer fields, a baseball field ... You can play a friendly game or take a walk down the dog park! It can also be a great place for a picnic if that's what you're looking for!

Danny Thornton

I love this park. There is so much to do. The active oval has softball, kickball, and soccer. There is an open air space where they have concerts and movies on the greens. There are bike and walking trails all over the place. While parking can sometimes be a challenge, it is well worth the frustration.

Nicola Williams

Always so relaxing. There's truly no end to this park and no bad spots.

Flynn May

Lots of space for dogs to play without overwhelming each other if owners don't let their dogs rush the entrances

Tonya Smith

Hands down one of the best parks in Atlanta. Take your friends when they come into town. And bring food & water for picnics. Lots of trees & shady areas to enjoy

Divo Ess

An integral part of Atlanta. This park is huge and always has plenty of events, and nice things to see and do. My only complaint would be about all the liter in the park, maintenance could definitely do a better job of keeping the park clean.

Brad Edmonds

Atlanta’s jewel. A must visit to the Botanical Gardens and it you have a Fido friend, you have to take in the dog parks. Spring and Summer farmers market on Saturday mornings and don’t miss the Dogwood Festival every Spring!

Jay Darcy

The crown jewel of Atlanta! Piedmont Park is gorgeous, relaxing, and fun; the perfect urban oasis. From awesome playgrounds for kids to plenty of exercise fields to rambling walking paths, it's my favorite place to spend an afternoon with my family. So thankful to live close by! Be sure to check out the wetlands trail (it's a bit hidden), as well as the path around Lake Clara Meer.

Pamela Tubner

Beautiful, Clean, Fresh Air and Great. I so enjoy myself.

josh spivey

This was our first time at the park and we enjoyed it. We went for the ice cream festival and just walked around. Very nice

Julia Holley

I love this place. The grounds are well kept and the way they have it set up in different sections to fit all your outdoor park needs is awesome. My only take back would be the parking please create a deck or something for this park.

Max Anthony Cortes

Such an amazing park! So spacious and with proper planing and spend a great day at the park.

Francisco Matos

Piedmont Park is HUUUGEEEE. Multiple entrances, exits, drop offs spots. Multiple trails, perfect for bikes, skates, scooters. Lakes. Big plain fields for sports. Basketball courts. Tennis courts. Everything in only one really big, BEAUTIFUL place. You want to run, bike, walk, take pictures, just bring a lot of water and sunscreen! You can park for free in the nearby residential areas!

A F

Fantastic and huge park in the middle of Midtown that is nice if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Seems like it always has different events going on and is a must-see place if you are visiting Atlanta and want to see some greenery.

I Hasan

Nice place to go for a walk or run. There were so many trails. My dog had a blast

TANARA LAMB

Great sensory for pictures! And this is the perfect place to take family out for a picnic. They also have a playground area for small kids. I saw a swimming pool out there as well. It’s also a Great place to go for a jog or walk. Animals are also welcomed! There’s always something going on out there from concerts to food trucks. If you’re lucky you may find a free parking spot on side of the road, but if not it’s always pay parking lots close by!

sekaran nc

It is a wonderful place set right in the midtown of Atlanta with nice walking tracks. Pool area, tennis courts as well as football field are available. One can just relax near the pond and simply watch the swimming ducks. Meadow is an added attraction. Separate enclosed dog playing area is also there. For those who want to visit botanical gardens it is situated on one side of the park. But we have to pay entry fees.

Natasha Brown

Actually I was getting food from Willie's. Always fresh food and friendly service. Go try the Baja it's awesome!

Michael Enders

lovely park!! at night has nice skyline view. some tracks could use more illumination

Jefferson Chap

Lots of space. Go on a run. Walk your dog.(There's also a dog park.) Go fishing.

Phylicia Stevens

This is a very nice, clean, and relaxing park. The lake is sometimes full of ducks and swans and there are plenty of places to sit and play. Baseball, soccer, and tennis courts too!

Carissa Engelbert

Beautiful and well kept park accessible to all! A great oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city.

Kani Saeed

The best park with the most activities in Atlanta. Close walk to the beltline and Ponce City Market. Always fun events going on.

Soapbae_

Great place to spend the day with your family and friends. Even some quality time with yourself. Awesome scenery , great work out paths & picnic space.

A Barbie

I do enjoy Piedmont not only do I play softball at the field(s) but when the festivals, market and events occur your right in middle of action. Not to mention you can eat or get a drink after a workout. This is my go to place with my family.

David Kirschner

Always love Piedmont Park. Take a blanket and some food and some books and other things to do and chill out all day. Watch out for surprise Music Midtowns and other events if you want to avoid crowds!

Eboni Joy

Beautiful and spacious. Can be hard to find parking on event days or after 11am. Great playground, duck pond, and pool. Endless events are held here. There's a restaurant on the grounds, Trader Joe's is about 3-blocks away, and several eateries including Arden's Garden and Mediterranean Grill are right across the street. As is Grady High School.

Stosha Gamble

Piece and beautiful. I great place to enjoy a walk or run in the park!

Pri

Came here for a balloon festival. The place has ample of facilities and places to eat. Pretty spread out and good area for a family outing.

Kyle Reed

Great place to hang out with your friends. There's a playground for your kids, a pool (somewhere in there), a tennis courts and many more. If I we're you would go try it out. But beware Parking is $2.00 an hour and an additional hour is $1.00. For an whole day it's $15.00. (which is worth it if you ask me)

Clarence Hawkins,MBA

Truly one of my favorite sites to visit. I've enjoyed a wide range of festivals and an occasional jog. Best to check online to see what events are taking place prior to making any decisions. I.e. picnic, jog, etc...

David Massey

Fantastic park! Nestled in midtown Atlanta there are tons of acres of grass, lakes, walking and riding paths and a huge dog park. Definitely worth the visit!

Rhya Bleser

Overall, I was pretty impressed with the park! It’s a much smaller scale of Central Park to me. You aren’t in the city but from certain points of the park, you have a great view of the city skyline! There is plenty of seating and lots of activity throughout the park. I was really looking forward to see the botanical gardens, but with the signs they didn’t make it very easy to find for an outsider (not from Atlanta) - I eventually gave up and never got to see it. Also, this isn’t a reflection of the park but it saddens me to see all the homeless people laying on the cement. Beautiful park

Rohit Bhandari

This is a great place for our family to relax and spend time together. We used to go and play there everyday when we lived close by, but still manage to go there multiple times during summer, even though we have moved up north if Atlanta. My kids love the place too. It's fun anytime and especially during events

Rick Denson

Great for a walk in the park, a picnic, a cookout in the park, a walk for the dog, a ride on the bike or best of all... a swim in the very nice and well equipped pool (I purchase an annual family pool membership and swim during membership hours). The Midtown view of Atlanta is wonderful to see. Botanical Gardens is on the North End of the park and is like icing on the cake.

Piper Rocks!

We rented a double bike and a single and a scooter. We had fun biking around the park for 2.5 hrs! Family fun!

Rodney Reeves

Love this park for the views of the city and the tranquility it provides. Great park to get away from the hustle and bustle while still being in the city

Clascee Freeman

The art show was really nice and peaceful. I wonder when it will come again. I like the new Electric bathrooms the only downfall for me that it does not give you enough toilet tissue. And when It is hot it is gets really stuffy inside there.. I am not talking about the old Porter poties I am talking about the new silver one.

D J

The Annual Jazz Festival is always a must see. The music is good, the food is tasty and the people are friendly. This park is great for relaxing, reading a book, walking a dog or bike riding.

Deanna Alston

The best park with the most activities in Atlanta. Close walk to the beltline and Ponce City Market. Always fun events going on.

Fernando Alfonso, III

Really fun store with a large and diverse selection of stickers and lapel pins. You can find it right outside Ponce City Market next to Anthropologie. And if you're in need of stamps, you can buy both domestic and international.

Matthew Fitzmaurice

A great place to spend any part of the day. Tons of walking paths and things to see. Also has great views of the city.

Sylvia Garcia

This park is huge and very well kept.Walking area is nice and they hold a lot of events

Wonderful venue for a music festival. Tons of room to roam and get away from the crowds and seek refuge in the shade.

Terika Smith

Where do I start! We had a wonderful time at the beer festival and the atmosphere was wonderful lots of people and the weather was nice. Me and babe were on vacation. I love Atlanta.

Tanya Simons-Oparah

The Atlanta Jazz Festival was huge! Many vendors and a great turnout by the locals and tourists. The park was well suited for the largw crowd. Seemed like a reunion for many groups and families.

ohnay arrioja

A lot people coming out and in. Perfect to have a enjoyable day. It also has a nice city view.

Bryant Rodriguez

Very fun experience visiting Piedmont Park! I am not from here but it is one of the first spots I’ve visited. It’s a huge park with very wide-open areas. As a tourist, riding around the park on a rented electric scooter was an unrivaled experience for me. Super fun!

Virginia Kelly

It was real nice and peaceful. I would definitely recommend people to go for any events they may have coming up or trying to do. One of the largest recreational parks that's nice in clean in Atlanta

Paul Forté

Beautiful green space in the heart of Atlanta. Great views, nice walking paths, and plenty of space to play. It's the closest thing to Central Park you'll find in the South.

Shannon McFarland

Went to Atlanta for the weekend and went to the park. It's a nice park. There was a vendor art fair there. It was pretty cool. We walked around with ease. Saw a few food trucks which was cool too. I recommend to hang out...

Bob Gillooly

Loved Piedmont park, we went for the first time on a Saturday morning and walked our legs off. Piedmont park was a true melting pot of human activity there were people from all walks of life all doing different activities from grilling to jogging, and some just relaxing on the greens. There's something there for everyone to enjoy.

Nicholas Woodruff

Lovely place to visit and catch a breath of fresh air. Swimming pool located towards the center. Parking is easily accessible. You can walk, scooter, bike, and mode of transportation. Safe walk at night, wouldn't recommend doing it often tho. Local events here often, so always be on the lookout!

Prism Collective

Beautiful park! Tons of sports leagues and has a dog park. Close to a lot of other great attractions around Atlanta. Home to several great festivals such as Music Midtown. There is something for everyone! Check the park out!

DANIEL LAHERA

I love Piedmont park! Lots of stuff to do. Great for running, jogging, or just lounging around to take in the sights. There is also a public pool to escape the heat of these summer days, and festivals present all the time! You have restaurants, and ice cream shops in very close proximity. I don't know of anyone who's had a bad time at this park. Hope this helps!

Sharon Clark

On the day we went finding parking was a major challenge as they were using the public parking for a wedding. We went Saturday for the hot air balloon show. That was awesome. (A bit pricey though, we just watched) but still very enjoyable. 3 stars for difficulty finding parking.

Hernan Logarzo

We went for the Atlanta balloon glow. It was great. People have their own cooler, there were plenty of food trucks and rides. Good event overall. We love that park.

Michelle Williams

As hot as it was in Atlanta this place had AC amd a tent where you could be cool. The entertainment was great and so was the BBQ. We had a great time!

Patrick Barker

There's a lot going on in this Park. I haven't seen it in its prime and I can't say I really want to. The three times I've been there have been really good tho. The first time was in Fall and it was so beautiful. Definitely go in the fall! The colors are amazing!

Adam Fackelman

I love walking around the park. I can easily spend a few hours walking around to see everything and get a good bit of exercise in too. I just wish there were more parking options around the area. I also wish Piedmont Park was closer to me but I can’t really do much about that at the moment.

Terry Bailey

Always love this park! Especially when I arrive here at the end of the Peachtree Road Race! The park is large, clean, great walking trails around the lake. Wonderful grass and fields for sports, children, and picnics. There is also a pool and places to walk your dog. Also a lovely setting for photography, engagement photos, family photos, etc. Perfect location for festivals and they have great ones out here. There is a paid parking garage on site too!

Jachai DeJesus

What more can you ask for; peaceful, spacious, kid friendly, and welcoming to all! I had a grand time hanging out with new friends and making amazing memories + cute photo opportunities amongst the greenery that is Piedmont Park

Sam Lees

As with most inner-city parks, it's a little dirty. But it's a great place to take a walk and forget what you're stressing over for a while.

Robet Alston

Nice open air park with many festival and area of enjoyment. A place where you can walking without the outside noise and enjoy it beautiful surroundings.

Joejuania McDaniel

Visited the park to ride the escooters and it is a beautiful park! The ride through the park was very nice.

Christopher Davis

It has the most beautiful scenery and great places in the park to take photos of skyline.

Sarah Hartman

Beautiful park located in downtown Georgia. Attended a music festival here and the grounds were well maintained. Park contains many rolling hills. Allows for wonderful views of the Georgia skyline and is well located with street access.

Bryan Turner

Great park with tons of events going on all the time. It can be tough to find free parking, but if you look hard or long enough, you'll find some somewhere... Or just park at the Botanical Gardens and pay a bit

Aleksandra Ninova

Fave Atlanta location. The trails, views, everything is pretty great! Has pool, playground, dog park, gazebo, and much more! Ideal for walks, picnics, working out, festivals, weddings, you name it!

Chasity Gulrich

I am working music midtown had a emergency needed to leave for 30 min and come back. I was told i wouldn't have to pay again for parking again. But when i came back they still charged me another 15 for parking. I think it is very unprofessional. Thats taking advantage of people. And the women that was in the booth was very rude and nasty to me.

Soco Troco

This is the place to be whether you want to take a stroll, jog, workout, do a photo shoot, ride scooter, skateboard, skates(you named it) or just have a great outdoor escape. The sprawling property and well blended sights and trails are just perfect for any outdoor plans! I even saw people fishing on the lake overlooking the Midtown skyline. The festivals and concerts along with Park Bar live acts and atmosphere are just awesome! Can't miss it!

Rhontasha Gerrick

Only explored a small portion. It didn't give me the park feeling I was hoping for. I do plan on going back to explore more of it.

Ava Thomas

Priscilla Berkey

Beautiful park. PHENOMENAL Walking/biking/dog walking paved trail. Midtown Music Festival is held there every year and I believe they do a great job.

Kelly Marble PMP

I took my son and sister to the dogwood festival at Piedmont Park. The food, people, activities were amazing. My son had a one-on-one experience with a magician. My sister and I saw incredible artwork and craftsmanship. The music was fun and family friendly. We also enjoyed the festival! I ran into an old friend who let us have his remaining tickets so my sister and son were able to ride the rides for free - the ticket prices were pretty high. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and finished the day at Cafe Lucia - one of my favorite places!!

Anthony West

Awesome park in the city of Atlanta, GA USA. The park has plenty of free and handicap parking. This park is know for it support of the #Lgbtqipad human beings. This park is a source of great pride for the people of Atlanta, GA.

Rachel Honeywood

I moved to Midtown to be close to Piedmont park because there is always something (or many things) going on there that are interesting. There are 3 playgrounds, a huge lake, a pool, restaurants, a farmers market and more. That being said, if you do not know the park and are on foot trying to find a playground (even though there are three) can be difficult. I highly recommend either getting a map first or riding around on a bike.

Bernadette Correia

I love to lay on the lawn listen to music and look up at the stars. With awesome company. People whom keep it real.

April Michelle

This is one of my favorite parks to go to in Georgia. You can go to relax, walk around or watch what “shows” are going on. Truly miss this place

Leanne M

Gorgeous park that the Beltine connects right to. It is huge and has many paths to walk down. There's also a fantastic view of the city throughout the park and the botanic gardens are right nearby. There's also a few small ponds and a lot of great scenery throughout! This is a great park to visit

Katherine Marshall

This is not a place for the disabled. We had a family reunion here. Not only did our 82 year old heart attack survivor aunt have to walk1.5 miles in but we had 2 others that needed assistance. Myself being 1 of them. I asked security for a ride on the golf cart & he told me he wasn't allowed. After my husband & kids found the owner of the park, he directed security to ride all disabled people out. Needles to say i ended up in the hospital 2 days later and still haven't got better. Our family will never go here again. No southern hospitality here.

T. Nicole Webb

What can't one say about Piedmont Park? It is easily among the best Parks in Atlanta. The park itself is huge and one can get lost in it while in the middle of Atlanta. On all it's edges are great shopping and dining experiences and if you're really going for it take a trip to the botanical gardens inside the park (entrance fee is extra). This be park connects to the Beltline which can get you all over around pedestrian style! And the various events that go on in the park from one week to another keep you coming back for more. When it's warm there are music concerts and Farmers markets and sporting events and yoga classes to name a few. The winter it gets quieter but makes it more fun to explore while no one is around. This is a great place to talk a walk with your fur baby or to catch up with an old friend.

Caricatures in Atlanta Georgia

One of the best parks in Atlanta. They also have a pool area. Pack a picnic and bring the family down for a day at the park. My hubby and I roller blades, skate board, and takes walks here. Beautiful park to also chill. We've drawn for proposals here as well.

smita sharma

Place to go for a run or a peaceful evening walk... There's a smoothie place in the park. Must try.

Michael Agee

Great place to hang out, enjoy some peace and quiet, walk the dog, take some photos, all that stuff.

Erica Hill

Love this park! The first time I was there, we just walked around and found a cute pond with swinging benches to hang out on. The next time I went there was a festival going on with tons of great food!

Paula Ruiz

This is my absolute favorite place in Atlanta. In the summer, there are always walkers, runners, bikers, people walking their dog, people playing frisbee, and generally lots of activity. A great green space in the heart of Atlanta, Piedmont Park is also surrounded by a lot of great restaurants, and from there you can take a stroll down the Beltline to Ponce City Market.

Niki Hart

This is obviously the largest park in Atlanta, but it's also the best place to find something to do. Even if you just want to walk around, there is always something happening. Festivals and music events are always happening during the summer. Great place for photography shoots as well. All in all, you can bring a friend, date, or family here and have a splendid time.

Stephanie Locke

Love walking around the park! Great park to enjoy with the family and friends!

Kemi Griffin

Great place for everything you want from a park. Beautiful scenery. You can find wild life and views of the midtown skyline. Great pool, tennis court, basketball courts, dog parks, walking trails active ovals, workout areas as well as playground. It's huge. Parking is usually decent, but fills up quickly on beautiful days.

Wesley Upchurch

This was a beautiful park. We dropped in for the hot air ballon blow. That definitely was fun and romantic.

Morales Coach

No complaints about it. Just need to update the address for the GPS I know I was not going to the park. Nice events and security is great there. Highly recommended. Thanks

Casey Callaway

Beautiful park. Great place where my daughter ran a 1k to benefit heart kids. Wonderful place for family fun. Probably depends on the event, but still nice.

Aretha J

It is a really nice park. With a wide variety of things to do inside or nearby. It connects to the beltline on one end and the botanical gardens in another area. It is also a popular pathway for races in Atlanta adding to the many views in the park.

First time here...This park is huge! We went for the hot air balloons. It was nice. I didn't like that they only went up and down and didn't really fly anywhere after paying $35. Anyhow, there is plenty to see and do here. They had kid rides, food trucks, scooters, etc. Tons of space for almost any and every activity

A Midtown staple, Piedmont park is always changing, and yet it has almost not changed at all. It still carries the image its designer, son of the designer of Central Park in NY, intended. Some things to explore here are the various paths that make up the park, the connected Beltline trails, the dog park, and the rolling hills, often shaded by trees, which make a lovely place for some relaxation in the grass.

Wonderful park with several amazing restaurants nearby. During the summer they have so many amazing events. Best park In Atlanta

A beautiful retreat within walking distance to great bars and restaurants.

Wonderful place for a family picnic with the pets. Excellent way to enjoy being in the perimeter while being outside. No crime, no begging, nice people.

I enjoy the Jazz Festival. But there's no way for handicapped people to get around down there. To get to where the stadium is set up that needs to be some kind of special ride of special golf carts to take them to an area where the music is being played because the parking is so far away. It's just not made accessible for people in wheelchairs. We like to go out to the park and listen to music too. Please address this problem

There is so many places to have fun with friends and family. Everytime I go I find a new place I hadn't seen before. The botanical gardens can also be found in the park and I think that's really unique and fun.

Great for exercising, dates, concerts, festivals, and pets. Also surrounded by restaurants and coffee shops. Parking can be an issue at times depending on the event/time of day but sometimes you can find parking in a neighborhood or side street. Nonetheless Uber or Lyft is helpful for transportation.

Celebrated 30 years of Piedmont Park at the "clubhouse". Biggest takeaway is that at some point I REALLY need to go to the pool at the park. It's really nice

Who doesn’t love Piedmont Park, Atlanta’s version of the Grant & Central Parks of the world… only better nestled right in the midst of Atlanta, Georgia is Piedmont Park, 189 acres of countless endeavors whether you’re walking to it via the Beltline, working out or in a sports league in the Active Oval, or feeding the ducks dockside. Did I mention the tennis & basketball courts, softball diamond, aquatics center, events areas, top of the line city attractions, etc. etc. etc. One of the best if not best urban parks in the country.

Tana Rachell

Love the park it is very well kept. I'm not too fond of the parking when you have to haul things from the car, but over all it's a nice park. They should offer ppl rides on the golf carts when they have multiple things to get from the car.

Floyd Montgomery

Great park has lots of trees that provides shade. I found out to late but the park has parking and my friends who used it only paid 5 dollars for about 2.5 hrs. Since I'm just visiting I parked in a garage across the street which the price was outrageously high!

Latino Festival. Food Trucks. Live Music. Perfect Sunday vibe for friends, dates, pets, long walks, and workouts!

Atlanta's main public park offers a clean, safe, and enjoyable getaway for everyone. Atlanta is my home town and Piedmont Park has been a place I have been lucky enough to enjoy and observe grow and develop over the years. When in ATL check it out and enjoy!

A beautiful park in the heart of the city. Thankfully we ventured out to this park on the perfect day. There was wine tasting in the park. The park is huge and has a nice backdrop of downtown.

We went for the 6th Annual Reggae festival so much fun and family orientated with some amazing people, Caribbean vibes, and wonderful food trucks and vendors. Will definitely plan to attend this again, and the botanical garden is breathe taking

Great place to hang out on hot August day . Great drinks and fun games for all. While staying cool.

Francis Lynch

Great park. Great place to run. Very dog friendly. Also attached to the beltline so if you want to walk to Ponce City market for lunch you can.

Glenn Terrell

I dropped off my daughter and friends here for The Music Midtown events. They had a blast.

Kaamil London

My husband and I enjoyed and evening of

Quite a nice place to go walk and spend the day out. There's a lot of shade from trees throughout the park, especially over the paths, so staying out of the overbearing sun is a lot easier here than some parks. Definitely worth the time, just be aware that parking in the area can be challenging, though that's pretty par for the course in Atlanta in general.

GUSTAVO SERRANO

Love the place. First time going. Now its gonna be a place to go everytime i can

Tomas Rodriguez

Awesome park. You can have a picnic with friends, go to the dog park, work out, play in sport leagues and many more activities.
