I took my 9 year granddaughter today and we had a blast! It was not crowded so we were able to ride everything we wanted as often as we wanted. Everything was clean and running well and the staff were friendly and helpful. I was a little bummed at first that we couldn’t bring food in, but we packed a cooler and left it in the car- at lunch time we took a break and tailgated and went right back to the fun. Great day!

Miranda Clark

Fourth of July the teenagers working at the gate were checking bags before you walked in. My fiancé and I brought sandwiches because we were going on our friends boat for the day and they told us we couldn’t take our food in! Even threw out some people’s baby food that were behind us! There are no signs that say you can’t bring food for yourself or your family so when did this get implemented? Forced to eat their “low country boil” which was shrimp out of a cooler for $16 that my fiancé got sick off of. Complete disappointment. That being said- Trent tried to help us out as much as he could! I would give him 5 stars- the rest of the place not so much!

Christine Cornett

Love love love this place! They did a free Easter egg hunt which was amazing and well put together. I wish it wasnt so expensive so we could afford to attend more things there!

Christopher Burgess

Pretty nice waterparks. Decent slides and attractions. Enjoyed because it wasn't over crowded. Liked to beach and Pool. Food and drinks were ok. Only thing I wasn't happy with was the $15 dollar parking just to get into the resort. Thats a little much so won't return as much.

We have been season pass holders for the past five years. This year we didn't purchase them. I'm so glad that we didn't. They allow people on the beach for free. We went in this past weekend and we saw people fighting on the beach, trash everywhere, and people were in the wave pool without wristbands. I didn't see any security on the beach. I just don't see that it is fair for me to pay all that money for season passes when people just get in for free. I just don't understand their concept of letting people on the beach for free. This used to be a family friendly place but I don't want to bring my kids anymore because of the things we saw. We love going to the waterpark but please try to work on cleaning it up and putting security out on the beach and please don't let people on the rides without a wristband. This is very unfair to your paying customers.

Had so much fun very kid friendly my 2 year old had a blast

Memorial Day Weekend! 1/2 the wave pool roped off due to the backside being green from Algae. Obviously not cleaned. Wave pool machine never turned on. Basically "waveless"wave pool. We got to park at 11am and left by 12:30pm. Wont be going back. 3rd year pass holder and park keeps going down hill. Very disappointing.

Mark Zoller

I grew up going to this place. Now with kids of my own, it's a great place for little children (even infants). The website doesn't really describe amenities for children but it's actually quite good. IMPORTANT NOTE: CHILDREN MUST BE 42 INCHES TALL TO RIDE WATER SLIDES AT THE PARK! Absolutely no mention of this on the Margaritaville website which is surprising. Also for children that are not proficient swimmers, some rides do not allow life jackets so be aware of that even if they meet height requirements. Some slides discharge into marginally deep pools, others into chutes you can easily stand up in. Get there early to stake out an umbrella or shaded spot.

Catherine Alvey

Fun place to gather with friends. It is really for adults after dark. Food is basic but good. Cocktails ROCK!!

Kyle Baxter

Cool place! Lots of water slides, inflatable obstacle course in the lake & awesome wave pool! Also bars, snack stands & restaurants. Many nice improvements since it became a Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville. Highly recommend!

We love water parks and the beach so since Lake Lanier Islands added parking to the Margaritaville season pass and the reviews were generally positive, we decided to dive in (Ha!Ha! Pun intended!) Unfortunately, we didn't go out there first. They've done the beach very well; the visual atmosphere is excellent. It would be a lovely relaxing place but the music is TOO LOUD!!!!!!!!! They have huge video screens on both sides of the park that play music videos non-stop. At first we thought they were for dive-in movies but no, they are just music video screens. Perhaps that's why the park is never full; even July 4th was slow. The non-stop noise of the loud music just wears you out. We have to wear earplugs. Even some teenagers we know complained about the volume of the music; one of them was wearing earplugs too. The water slides are good slides but suffer from neglect and cost cutting. The tubes don't have enough air in them and slide mats are too small for adults. The back side of the park where the boat docks are has a floating dock with a DJ blasting music too. Then the boaters crank up their stereos to compete and show off. There's literally no escaping the cacophony. I find myself not wanting to go out there despite having a season pass. Makes me sad. :( Margaritaville at Lake Lanier could be a wonderful place if they would just turn down the music. Or maybe have just one area of the beach that's quiet.

Park is pretty fun, but some dude with a superiority complex came over and threatened to kick us out over us holding a tin of mustard? I understand if he'd just ask us politely to put the mustard back, but he was insanely confrontational and seemed to have a chip on his shoulder. Made our experience significantly worse than it could've been otherwise, but still a relatively nice park.

Brandy Morris

It started to rain no son and no fire works but maybe next time. Loved the ducks and my ole catfish's. Came up to us

Want a new set of acrylic nails? There are several all around the park and in the water. Look closely and you might be able to find a matching set.

Vidhi P Shrivastav

It’s a kind of island in itself though it’s artificially made but one can easily save his time to travel and enjoy water for a weekend or so here. They have got many water rides and many outdoor water activities else you can just sit and relax on the water. Restaurants are there to feed you and bid screen adds on the entertainment.you can bring your own boat. Only thing is to consider the restrooms they are real bad, messy and no specific changing rooms so people change it in this miserable toilets which can cause disease and infections. Rest is good.

Eileen Marcazzolo

Loved it! They now have music on a huge screen behind the lake!

Vishal Thakkar

The best place to be on weekend or holidays. They have small beach, nice lake, water park and fun time.

Angie McKinley

Plenty of things to do for all ages!! I took my 7 children ageing from 2 to 12 and they all had a blast

Nellian Rios

It has so many things to do, you can be here the whole day having fun in the water. There is something for all ages and is spacey and comfortable enough to accommodate large crowds. There are a few restaurants to choose from inside with a variety of foods that satisfy most palates.

Lamesha Moore

Bar was nice! Blue slide was a blast! Thought I was drowning on the white slide. Haven't seen the entire place as of yet to know if it's worth the ticket tho

Andrew Shreeve

This place was amazing!! Food was delicious, service was prompt and very friendly. We got to the park late and got in free just to eat. Wish we had more tine to come again

derrick bengston

really sucks, the last 4-5 times we have been have been horrible. The restaurant putting people on a false wait due to being understaffed. the food is below par, even the buffet signature drinks are lacking. Mix that with lousy service and you have the trifecta! Until i hear otherwise LLI and Margaritaville will not be getting any visits from me, my family or close friends.

Akila Ahmunett

Me & a group had dinner here for my b'day & we were lucky to be served by the lovely Nicole. She was highly attentive, super friendly & personable. She made our night so much fun & we'll definitely be returning!

Ann Hardy

Lots of fun for all ages! However we waited in line for food for almost an hour today. The park was slow today and very under staffed. We're going back again on Friday! We hope that the park will be better staffed for a summer holiday week. Overall we did have a great time!

Carl Jones

This is a really nice venue. My first time visiting and I am thoroughly impressed with the ecosystem they have created its a great place for families of all ages to come and have fun.

Lindsay Thompson

Ultimate season passes this year were well worth our money. We will continue to purchase them for years to come. It’s never quite so busy you can’t have fun. Food is better than in the past. Many perks to being a pass holder.

K-Dar M

I had a blast. Great staff. Great drink prices. Fun in the sun. No worries.

Sean Tigue

Nice place to relax with family. Gift shop and food gets expensive. $20 to rent an umbrella and $15 just to get into the islands. Beach is awesome and plenty of stuff to do just for people that are budget minded it adds up.

Tammy Rountree

Camped here, great staff, loved the concrete pads, very level. Landshark was a good restaurant/bar. Get a golf cart. Beautiful sunsets while we were there.

Robin Thomason

Never again. Came at 9:30 to enjoy the beach and got kicked off until 10 so they could “clean the beach” and “check the chlorine levels of the water park,” even though we were just on the beach. When we were finally let in, we were told we couldn’t bring in water, even though there are no signs. Now we have no water and no drink stations are open. Also, there was trash all over the beach, even though cleaning it was their reason for kicking us off. Also, I’d appreciate more family-friendly music videos on the big screen with kids running all around.

Dustin Shirley

BEST COCONUT SHRIMP

James Weldon

Very hot... but a great experience with some great friends and this cutie.

Sandra Ibarra

Great water park! Pricey but worth, have fun in the waves pool, the access to the lake beach and multiples slides make it fun for all. We tried the burgers are juicy and big enough

Trizzel Mitchell

Loved it the view the water and the the fresh air will be going back suggest it for anyone

Mikaela Pearce

Fun water park at the lake.

neishi1

Great atmosphere for family relaxation

Denise Pace

Mona is the best bartender hands down! She keeps us coming back and happy. Love coming here

Jessica Jones Bekkerus

The staff and crew were great. However, the music and Jumbotron are so loud and obnoxious and you never get a break. Please consider turning it down and giving everyone a break for a few minutes each hour. You can’t even sit on the beach and talk because the music is so loud. Not relaxing at all if that’s what you’re looking for.

Babynight Xøxøfight

Great family fun with slides, wave pool, Sandy beach and fireworks. The kids had a blast! Season passes are a must have for summertime

David Marsolo

We buy annual passes every year and that is the way to go if you’re local. Slightly overpriced for a single day pass if you ask me but I suppose that helps to keep it from being over crowded. Great fun place for the kids and plenty of bars and restaurants to keep the parents happy. Being so close to us, this adds to quality of lake life. Very happy it’s here.

Group of friends and I rented a boat for the afternoon on Lake Lanier with Margaritaville expecting a great afternoon. Everything started off fine until we docked and an employee said that they would charge $125 to replace the propeller. We asked what could’ve caused damage because we didn’t have any issues or incidents with the boat all afternoon. The employee said we could not have done anything to prevent the damage and we wouldn’t have even known anything happened. We were extremely confused because he agreed that it wasn’t our fault and that the lake had a lot of debris recently and that the previous two renters had to pay as well. This made no sense to us and we tried to explain that it wasn’t our fault and part of their regular maintenance and operations. He walked away saying he was done with the conversation and didn’t want to deal with us anymore. Upon going into the office to pay, the manager showed up and handed us a charge for $250 so we asked how everything doubled. He said the employee outside doesn’t determine pricing and that the manager determines pricing. We knew were were getting screwed over so asked how pricing could double like that. Another employee from the front desk threatened to charge us $500 if we didn’t leave and slammed our receipt on the table. We ended up leaving but wanted to share this warning with anyone thinking about renting boats with them. Pricing is not transparent, employees treat customers like trash, and it is pretty much a guarantee that they will charge extra fees once you dock (quote from one of their more honest employees as we left - not naming him). There are a lot of rental companies on the lake - stay away from these guys if you want to enjoy your time on the lake!

We had a great time at Margaritaville at Lanier Islands. While the name is confusing, and we were looking for the restaurant named "Margaritaville," and learning soon that there was no such place, we got used to the new name pretty quickly. The whole water park and other select areas are jointly-run with Margaritaville and the actual physical land owner. The park itself is "Margaritaville at Lanier Islands," no longer "Lake Lanier Islands Water Park," or whatever variant has been used over the years. We did the package deal at the Legacy Lodge Resort, which is not part of Margaritaville. We had a great time there, and used the free shuttle to the water park. We had no complaints, and next year we plan on buying a Season Pass.

Paul_Junior617

My wife and I were given two tickets to the Margarita booze cruise. We really had a great time. We enjoyed some free drinks and complimentary buffet style food. The cruise lasted 3 hours, 5-8pm. We plan on doing this again next year with some friends to make it an even better time.

This RV campground is amazing I will be coming back here for sure 1000% a lot amazing water view from ever camp site they are building more sites . I almost didn’t write a review because don’t want this place to get so busy that we can’t get in it’s that good . The water park it has is great for kids I have a 4 yr old and a 2 yr old . They have water parts that our great for them and the adults zip line for big kids . A must Visit

Ana Schauer

Very spread out so we almost missed some of the slides! Late September was a great time to go, it was still hot enough for the water to be refreshing but there were no lines for any rides. Our favorite was the inflatables in the middle of the lake!

Carmen Lebron

for lack of words. We are a Latin American family who rented a lip to come with our boat to enjoy this memorial weekend. However we were thrown out of Lanier island only because we were playing Spanish music in our boat ( let it be know there is no special system installed) just standard. First we were complained against first thing in the morning when we arrived when there were barely any boats. We left and spent most of the day out with our kids. We came back after several hours and as soon as we arrived we noticed there were several boats blasting American music so we figure there was no problem with our Spanish music. Coming to find out exactly 20 minutes after we arrive and there was blasting music everywhere we were complained against, just because it was Spanish music. We proceeded to tell them if everybody else is what is the problem with ours. We proceeded to turn the music down but asked him if we had to everyone else had to as well. At this point Lucas Arnett and Rico ( Spanish guy) called for an escort to kick us out. We attempted talking to them stating this was not fair and it was extremely obvious it was only due to the type of music ( Spanish) back up, cops and kicked us out with kids and everything. I am discussed with the treatment we received. Never been treated like this before.

Jennifer McD

We come here as often as we can and absolutely love it. This is our second year buying our two girls season passes. This gets us in the islands gate for free (saves $15) and there's no charge to enter the beach /swim / relax / etc. so the girls have the time of our lives on the slides and zip line while we sit in the water and drink beer. It's a fabulous win / win and I highly recommend this place!!!

Kimberly Patton

Fun and pretty decent entertainment. We usually hit PCB but this was an easier drive.

Sinde Mcclung

Fun times! Great slides for kids and adults

Vanessa Sanders

I thought it would have improved a lot since it became Margaritaville, but the signage is the only thing that seems different. It’s still a good time close to home. It’s a bit pricey, but not too bad, overall. The new Hall County sheriff presence is nice. I cut them down from 5 stars because the sand was dirty ( cigarette butts and gum) and they took out the nice area for bigger kids, leaving the 7-11 set without much to get excited about.

Karen Watson

Since the new owner change over I don’t think the water park is as good. They closed down the kiddie area with the water bucket dunk. It is so HOT on that end of park w all concrete especially when waiting I get line at restaurant and everyone misses that part and water area.

Sonya D. Jones

So much fun!!! Great water, slides, zip lining and food & drinks!!! Amazing!!

Mike Collins

We were there grand opening weekend. One of the nicest campgrounds I've been to yet and the staff were VERY friendly, accommodating and helpful. They are still working on stuff but this was overall a great experience.

janeka Miller

It was a great experience. The captain and crew were friendly and kind. They made our entire team of 60 feel welcome.

Sylina Libasci

We spent all last summer at the water park. It was awesome! Servers are great at the remote bars and in the restaurant. It’s like having a vacation every weekend right here in our back yard!

Marilyn Sanchez-Osorio, Esq.

Lots of fun! Much to do, nice lake beaches with marinas and many things to enjoy yourself with your partner or wife! Also, a mountain of fun for kids!!! Zip lines going over the water and beach is my favorite one! Huge video screen playing music videos all day long, places to eat and drink, rent boats, water slides, you name it!

Derrick Anderson

Wasting way here at Margaritaville. That exactly what I did. This place is beautiful with a perfect view. Perfect!! The drinks are nice over there. Please listen to Glass Dee Entertainment. You will love the food and drink. Please don't drink and drink.

Kelly Sweat

I went to your restaurant today for my husband's birthday. The service was awful. We had to get our own water while the wait staff stayed on their phone at the hostess station. Waste of $60.00 . Glad we left and went to pigtails. Service is great there.

Tammy Hiler

So much to do and you can cool off anywhere with water mushrooms everywhere. We loved it

Edna H

Great place for Spartan race.

Perennial Park Landscaping

Getting more expensive to go even though it has not changed much in regards to slides and things to do the last few years. Wish they would lower the price to get into the islands back to $10 and make park admission more reasonable

Matthew Schelter

We have been season pass holders for 4 years now. The take over by Margaritaville has been a tremendous let down. The food quality has gone down and having Jimmy Buffett playing every 3rd song is torture. They also did away with the splash zone another way to further push out families. My biggest complaint however is their decision to do away with the courtesy docks on the waterpark side. Making this a marina and doing away with the ability for families to park their boat and go to the park and beach is the sole reason we will not be doing a season pass any longer. I do not want to have to walk all the way from the docks past Land Shark landing docks through the debauchery going on there with my 8 and 10 year old sons. It was so nice to be able to pull up, be 20 feet from the beach and boardwalk, have a nice late dinner evening at the park watch fireworks and not have to worry about what my son was seeing two boats over. That however is no longer possible. Not allowing boats to tie up to that walkway next to the floating obstacle course is the worst mistake the management has made.
Very disappointed and it is a shame such a promising family oriented fun place is making decisions that go against families with young kids.

Al C

Cool beachside spot. They have a couple od attractions, as well as food and margarita huts along the beach.

Brian Fernandez

I’ve been here several times before it turned into margaritaville, the only thing different are the names of the restaurants and bars. Having been to a few Margaritaville‘s this doesn’t even compare, it’s a waterpark, if you have little kids and you’re willing to pay extra money for garbage food and are used to doing those things it’s probably fun. As an adult The beach was much funner before. I was treated extremely rude by the staff at the land shark restaurant due to my confusion about being seated and when I did ask for a seat I was told to go order my food at the bar, and sit on the outside rail ( in the sun)when I specifically requested a table. Then she turned her back on me. it was a busy weekend and I understand the frustration of the employees but I’ve also been in much busier restaurants there was hardly anybody waiting to be seated and many tables open. There are a lot of young people working here similar to a six flags and many of them do not have the etiquette required to deal with a crowd on a holiday weekend seems that they need better management. Like I said if you need somewhere to go with your small children this place is great except for the random drunks wandering around.

noelia alvarez

Everything was perfect except for the music. to loud

John Nestle

You can have a full day of fun here and not have one bad thing happen (except maybe a sunburn). Trevor the lifeguard is amazing at his job.

Kerrie Martin

Third summer to get season passes. We’ve been coming for years and it just keeps going down hill . This is the third weekend it’s open and things are still broken. Now the kiddie pool slides are broken. The pool deck is filthy from the day before. School is out and they are not ready for the summer. It’s 11am and the snack bar is still not open. Disappointing.

David Jones

Nothing like the other margaritaville's I have been to. So very very poorly done all they did was Rebrand and old bar/ entertainment area. Definitely nothing to write home about.

Nelson Gonzalez

Very nice place, packed of activities for the kids. No parking issues, and friendly team in the resort.

Casey Cook

Single fathers beware! This place has changing tables in all of the women's bathrooms but not in the men's room. I was force to change my daughter on the floor of the men's restroom

Kali maluki

The Christmas light show is spectacular. It gets cold so bundle up.

Benjamin Hunter

Great beach less than an hour from Atlanta with reasonably priced drinks and a full blown water park. Mexican food is terrible as one might expect in northern GA

Arthur Larm

Took an extended cruise on the Land Shark. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. There was an awesome buffet on board with delicious build your own burritos, taco salads, etc. The steak was delicious and tender. The cruise lasted from early evening until past 10pm. Great music and dancing made the night excellent. The crew was definitely a highlight of the event and they made the experience wonderful.

Jonathan Pawlowski

Great service and good food! Really enjoyed the fish tacos.

Keisha Curry

I came from Alabama to ride the boat. My cousin son was murdered that morning. I called & spoke with them about a refund. The lady was very rude to me. She kept cutting me off. I understand there policy. Under the circumstances y’all should honor it.

KlamaLlama

It was awesome i loved the labor day celabration

edward vaughn

The ticketing and security check-in took longer than Disney with a lot fewer people. Management needs to look at the setup. Plenty of ways to expedite. Small crowd to get tickets, and then the line to get through security, get wrist bands, backing up into the parking lot. Staff does not know what they are doing. The hour it took to get through the gate is money y'all won't be getting.

C Baber

Be prepared to hoof it up hill with your tube pretty far for the few water rides they have. But the place is decent family friendly fun on the lake with great fireworks on special occasions!

Nadia Rivera

Oh man I love this place had so much fun it was a lot for both myself and my kids and my kids really enjoyed their self

Hope Mugfor

The kids love having an annual pass and going with their friends!

Shannon Beasley

The floating obstical course needs to let in kids lower than 48 inches because my daughter is 47 inches and in gymnastics so she was heart broken that she couldn't go on it. She would have been awesome!

divya vohra

It is a good getaway closer to Alpharetta. It has a water park. It has also a water play area for kids. It also has an eating place. Outside food is not allowed. Overall a good experience!

Frank Pou

Really nice place with different options to eat and things to do.

ebo 9693

It was very fun and the sites were beautiful however the wave pool was a little too much for me and my sister. And i hit my head on one of the slides.

Sarah Frech

The atmosphere is great! Like Florida beaches in our back yard.

kadige gnanzou

First time at lake Lanier ..... Really clean is what. I. Will say. .... The parking is 15 bucks. For regular car. And. More for bigger one ... We. Rented a boat ... The capitain. And his crew Were nice as well I will come back If you don't want to rent a boat there are. Lot of attraction. There to

Michelle Klein

It was the best day ever. The wave pool was the most fun! The slides were intense. I only did the little ones, but if I had more courage I would have done them all. Everybody was having so much fun!!

Steve Zissou

Fun place for kids to enjoy a water activities and nice scenery on lake Lanier.

Jim Warren

Seems to be cool on the map pictures and all we need this in {{Union co }} Norris Tn Tennessee Halls crossroads Tn bring it on up that way Margaritaville ISLANDS

Jessica Cox

I love everything about this place. Camping, RVs, a lake, water park for kids and more! My boyfriend and I have never been here so we decided to try it out. To get in the place/parking was $15 and I think you have to pay extra for the water park. It was nice walking around the sand and looking at all the different restaurants and kids having a blast. Living in Florida it's cool to see their version of a beach in GA, definitely different but awesome! Thanks Jimmy Buffett for this cool little place!

Alexi Grimaldos

We had a good time, excellent place for kids

Mrs Mietta Macedon

Great place to relax on the beach or have fun on the water slides. Great tiki bar right on the beach and plenty of spots to grab a snack or sit down for a meal.

GREAT, GREAT AND GREAT, nice getaway to entertain the family

Mental Alchemist

Awesome waterpark. I took my family and we all had a great time.

Jennifer Avery

Stopped in for lunch on Saturday. We were told it was a 25 minute wait but decided to sit in the first come bar table seats. Ashley and Mona the bartenders were fabulous in taking care of us. The best skinny margaritas ever! They were short on staff but did their best to give us the best service. Manager Chevy showed up and made our experience even better. Never had to wait more than a minute for anything. We will definitely be back.

April Bracker

Absolutely loved it. We're from out of town and thoroughly enjoyed a peaceful, fun day!

Zack D

This place has so much potential. From what we were told about the place it used to be a water park and then after it became run down it was bought by Margaritaville and brought up to date. Well, certain things are up to date and others are very much dated. Things we liked are that it wasn’t very crowded when we went on a Friday. The park in which this park is located is gorgeous. The food was good and the prices were typical of an amusement park. There are several areas where you can just swim in the beautiful Lake Lanier. Things that we didn’t like were it is a long and narrow design so you have to walk great lengths to get from one side of the park to the other end. We have young kids and one of ours was only able to ride one ride being that he was under 42”. There is only one outdoor shower at one end of the park to wash off, and it’s not even next to one of the beaches. So after you get sand all over yourself at the beach you either have to walk all the way to the other end of the park to wash off or you’re out of luck. I would also like to see dedicated changing rooms. You’re stuck changing in a toilet stall. And last, there is very poor organization and communication amongst staff members. The person at the gate didn’t know how to ring us up and had to call for help. We asked several staff members for different locations of things and they didn’t know. One staff member told us where we could find the “lazy river” and did mention to us that it isn’t a true lazy river but it’s kind of the same. We got there and it was a long winding water slide. Other staff members told us where to find the mini golf course and when we arrived we were told it has been closed all year due to vandals. Just seems like everyone is doing there own thing and there is a breakdown in communication. I would be interested to see what this place looks like a year or two from now. I wish it the best.

Merekat Grounds

I saw that they had a water park for kids, that I might have to check out. The yacht or boat was cool. Scenery was beautiful that day even though it's not much to look at.

Heather Sewell

We loved our time here! It was so cool we could play in the snow for hours and then go down to the beach area to play in the snow. There is a sledding mountain, carnival rides, food trucks, photos with Santa, ice skating and Christmas lights everywhere. Will definitely return.

Khun Sateeb

Nice relaxing afternoon. Eater is pretty clean. Fun to watch the malards getting chased by the kids. If you dont like jimmy buffet you will not like the videos being played.

Melanie Dugan

Great family place, lots of activities for the kids, very clean, and not busy! We had a fantastic time and can't wait to visit again.

David Wilson

The wave pool so fun

David Owen

Our family has enjoyed season passes to the beach and waterpark for the past 3 years. However, as of this year, the park is extremely overcrowded due to constant overbooking group and corporate events. These groups get priority parking and season pass holders are forced to park in overflow parking lots which are far away. No beach chairs available and you can't be in the water at the beach without constantly bumping shoulders with others. We will not be renewing our season passes next year.

Liddell U

This is a great place aka (netflix the Ozark) to take the family. The wave pool on one side then walk under the tunnel you have the beach setup to the Lake. Beach sand, bar setup, different eateries, as you walk the lakeside. The Landshark restaurant was really good. Several slides and ziplining across the Lake.

Beverly Nelson

Nice enough place but accessibility sucks.

Carlos Waldo

This is our favorite place for fun and relaxing.

Vinod Arya

Margaritaville is real fun. You can spend a day here with just playing lazy on the shacks or like a alligator inside the water. The lake is created like an hawain island beaches with white silky sand. Except the waves you get it all. But, the fun doesn't ends here, too make it even better there's a lot of water ride and a grand zip line above the lake. One of the best water ride ends inside the lake, which is quite an experience. One bad thing though is the walkway which is such a scrathed surface that if you walk on it for long your feets are going to get hurt. The entry fee is around $50 and best attractions zip liner and ride beside lake are $20 extra, with fast lane benefits.

Melody Ferguson

It's very clean, lots of food and drink options. Fairly priced as well. Lots of different rides for all ages, .

Vibhav Agarwal

Great place for a day tour.. My daughter loved the beach and playing in the water. We didnt purchase the water park tickets so cannot comment on that. But the zip line did seem quite exciting.

Allison QueenNgozi Naze

So much Fun! This was my first time coming. I came with my Church Family and it was amazing, clean, so many water activities and great food done by the church! Thank Victory World Church

Gerald Castellano

Great place for all water outings, five stars

Michelle Ortega

They did a really great job making this like its own little City with special events, things for all ages, etc.

Kozy's Korner

The park is clean and fun. Plenty of water slides to enjoy for all ages. Zip line over the lake too. Good fun for all ages with splash area for smaller children.

I had high hopes for RV campground opening. At best, I will not be coming back. Campers BEWARE of the following. If you book with camp ground it may appear you are reserving site specific. NOT the case. If you pay for thee EXTRA $20.00 in hopes of locking in your site, NOT the case. I was told that gate fee was included in the price, NOT the case. Once you pay for RV reservations, gate fee, and lock in fee. You have to ask yourself. Is it worth it? BTW, if you already reserve your spot and want to cancel, another $20.00 fee. Hope you are starting to see that they only want your money and not trying to make enjoyable memories. There will be a hype for the new opening but in time you will struggle to fill in spots. Lastly, as you can see in other posts. Do not waste your time calling. They never answer the phone or call you back as promised. Another dissatisfied customer.

C Cooper

Golf course and beach the best for July 4th.

Jessica Baker

We visit Margaritaville probably weekly. Love the music, food, atmosphere and beach! We travel by boat or car and are never disappointed. Full moon parties are a great experience and highly highly recommend! The newer music acts have been awesome. Love sunset cove and watching all the people swim, frolic, and boat around the area. There is a fee to park your boat at the dock.. $15 I believe. The full moon parties you will also have to pay a fee to get in. I would say it is worth it though. Cheers!

Having a great time at Margarita ville with family

Good place with extremely incompetent staff. Im so frustrated with the inconsist enforcement of the so called policies of this place. They say your kid must be taller than 48" to really enjoy most of the rides unless the lifeguard is in a good mood, thinks your attractive, etc. Its all politics with them. Today was such a frustrating and embarrassing day at the obstacle course. My 6 yr old child has been there numerous times with me accompanying him on the course but today they just wanted to be difficult and did not allow us to enter. How do you explain to a crying 6 yr old that he cannot return to an obstacle course he has done several times this summer? As i tucked him into bed at night the kid is still talking about how sad he was today about not being able to enjoy the obstacle course. Im so done with this place. This will be the last year i purchase a season pass for my entire family.

Adolfo Schael

Fun place with great infrastructure to enjoy the lake with family and/or friends

Justin Ohara

We have travelled all over the USA and a good part of Canada and have always been made to feel welcome. Until today! We almost weren't allowed to camp because our RV was too old for them. Check in was like an interrogation and it's completely overpriced. Wifi down, phone down but still charged full price. Only staying the one night and won't be back. In my opinion go somewhere else. Oh and all the other normal camping grounds around the lake seem to be closed so you have to come here.

Teresa Mayfield

Had to get a last blast of the summer day at the Islands! Looking forward to the winter season if this weather will EVER cool off!

Christi McCall

Fun place to spend a day on the water, with the water slides, great music and hot too crowded. Definitely shows wear and tear, but I felt like they are working on it.

Chris Connell

We love this place. Fun for the whole family.

Patricia Dossie

I enjoyed it a lot had a great time thanks for letting me be a part of your family and friend day again thank you.

Jim Latimer

Such an awesome place to visit. The water park offered a variety of attractions. I like that there is something to do for all ages. Will be definitely going back soon.

Kenneth Stewards

Very hard to get from the parking lot to the lake. Some of the steps don't have a railing. For people with disabilities this is a problem. The extra $10 fee for special events is uncalled for. With your prices for food and drinks I feel your gouging the general public. Come on Jimmy, how rich do you want to be?????? And yes I am a Parrot Head. For over 15 years and counting.

liilet burton

I had the grouper sandwich and it was WONDERFUL!!!! The fish was grilled to perfection! I will definitely return to explore more of their dishes.

Michael&Jennifer Poland

The food was very good! The captain was very fun and engaging. The staff was pleasant and very professional.

Roxanne M

Really enjoyed this spot! Much better than White Water, great food- a lil pricy, but my family and I had a great time! It even rained and we still enejoyed everything!

Rhona Cooper

We had our family reunion there. The food was good and the staff was so attentive. Especially Mary Jo. We had so much fun at the water park. Looking forward to going back.

MsBabeghirl Harris

This was my first time and I enjoyed it....

Tartiyana Style

My Church Victory World Church, invited I and my Husband for a volunteer appreciation day, and we had the best time! It’s definitely a place to go if you want to feel young again! So relaxing and fun!!!

Gabriel Hall

Awesome for summer, but the layout is atrocious. Looks thrown together. You would think with modern games, and commercial design programs. They would have at least laid out the idea first. The parking lots were done rt....lol Remember where you parked too. A bazillion roundabouts, and nothing marked.

Chinedum Clark

Awesome waterpark with enough to keep the little ones busy! Decent options for food/beverages, including a bar! We'll definitely be back!

Marilyn Velazquez

Margaritaville is truly an awesome spot to bring your family. Everyone will have a great time. My grandsons and I had a blast! We are traveling all the way from Philadelphia, PA.

Laurie Parrott

We all had a great time on the slides. The zip line was crazy fun.

Flor Echeverria

Everything about the beach and water park is awesome but getting out of there the 4th of July was horrible, no order, everybody trying to cut the others. It would be nice if they had people directing the out going traffic on holidays. Also the food at the Cantina restaurant terrible don't waste your money there.

Shirley Goosby

We all had good good time.

Jim Stefanik

Great place to take your kids.

Matt Engstrom

How on Earth does this place have a 4 star rating on Google?!?!?! Do people literally have no expectations of how to be treated?!?! The service at this place absolutely awful,!! Complete ripofff!! I'd give 0 stars if possible

Mark Storch

Pretty good place to stop and meet others. Lots of boats

Travis Wiehe

Cement side walks were very hot but the slides were amazing.

Jamie Drooker

Since they took over Lake Lanier Islands water park and boating area that used to be called Sunset Cove, we have been very pleased with them. They really made the restaurant Landshark very inviting to come up, watch the sunset, grab dinner or hang out at the Tiki Bar in the sand OR hang out at the boat docks that are now all in one place! it's been wonderful!

Melissa Pressley

Awesome opening day for season pass owners.

Tara Ericson

The sun is shining and the weather is perfect but the park is closed. My family paid over $500 for season tickets, rented a boat today and headed over to the park only to hear “management closed the park to save money because it was slow”. I would love for them to explain that to my two very disappointed children. Total let down. So unprofessional. Way to “save” MY money.

Ron Whited

Pretty laid back environment by the docks - live music etc...

Stephen Tinkle

Fun place to go. Great for kids. Good food.

Ana Bucatari

It's a great place for the whole family!!

Steve Thomas

soooo much fun on monday thru thursdays when less crowded!!!!

Jacque Moss

Fun environment. Don’t come here hungry. Eat before you come.bar staff great and fast. Hostess were great. We waited an hour and half and there was no end in sight. Music was fun. Fireworks were fun.

Keith Henderson

Great all day hang out, no coolers, plenty to do

Adriena Long

Pros: Great for families. Nice for dates. Kool for reunions/parties. Kids love it. Teens love it. Even mom n dad! I will def go back a couple times before the summer is up! Note: Zip lining is $20 Cons: Not enough restrooms and only like 3 stalls in the women restroom w/o mirror. Really 1 bathroom wasnt operating bc because it had a sewer backup.

Britt

Tons to do, excellent place to go on a slow day. Great life guards, very friendly. My kids LOVE trying to catch fish in the shallow water at the edge of the lake, and the kids' splash/slide area is awesome. So sad they shut down the other play area with the giant dumping water bucket. If you found this review helpful, please give it a thumbs up! Thanks!

Kenneth Boldin

I liked it so much better before Margaritaville bought it out and totally commercialized it. I remember when my family could go through there for $10. And they had a Santa's workshop! Since Margaritaville bought it out, NO Santa's workshop and a car loan will cost you $50... Ugh

Josh Lewis

My Wife and I where there on Saturday the 29th (at Paradise) , and there was this young lady working she took are food order and a few others that was waiting line behind us she finished up with everyone, and then proceed to run everyone's food. This girl knew how to do her job even when my wife and I had finished eating we where just sitting there relaxing and she came up and asked if she could take are empty plates which just wowed me and my wife. She was not wearing a name tag but I asked her name and she smile and said Melissa. I also asked her how long she had been doing this type of work and she laughed and said for years. My wife and I will most definitely be back because of service like that and the was great as well.

Dina Daranyi

Was asked to leave because we were playing Spanish music. We asked to please ask everyone else in the surrounding to lower their music as well because we weren't the only ones. We got discriminated because we are Latin Americans trying to celebrate memorial weekend with our children while listening to Spanish music. Nobody else got asked to lower their music and when we confronted them we were asked to leave the premises. They called the cops for us to leave when we were peacefully swimming. The Manager Lucas Arnett was very unprofessional and when asked the reason. Why he was only targeting us he would not provide any information and claimed we needed to leave. We come to lake Lanier every year 10-15 times per year and after they changed Management this is how we are treated. Not only we were embarrassed in front of our children but in front of everyone else. We paid our reservation like everyone else and had the right to celebrate in a peaceful manner. This is discrimination to the fullest.
