We bought the water park and the tubing and went tubing and was so tired we didn't get about an hour in to go to the water park. We enjoyed both but I recommend thinking over whether or not your family can handle both and be able to enjoy both. If not then just do the tubing. But the water slides were awesome too.

First of all, the parking is a tragic mess. I realize it's a holiday weekend, but invest in some paint and make some lines. The staff isn't super helpful. "Sign here. Sign here. Here's a tube." The actual tubing was relaxing in some places, but it was just too long with no place to exit early. The 3 star rating is because of parking and the staff not being helpful. Those things the company can control.

Helen tubing is about the cheapest fun you can have. $5/person! You get a two and half or three hour tube ride for $5. Your experience and time will definitely change depending on water level. Don’t go during low water levels. Google around or call Helen tubing to find out water conditions before you go.

I was not very happy with my experience. For what it was, the entry price was steep, and there wasn't much to actually do. It contains two waterslides, a lazy river, and LOTS of wasps, with me finding a baseball-sized nest at one point that was very near to where many children and adults were. Since I am allergic to them, this cut my visit very short. I won't be back.

We have a family reunion at Helen every year, we call Helen day before yesterday and ask them about park and tubing opening and they said they were, so we drove 3 hours with babies and toddlers in the car, when we got there and when to the front counter they were like tubing is not open but the price is still the same, when we talk to them and ask them about giving us a little break since we drove so far and it's raining hard we didnt want to go back and the ladies at the front counter have really bad attitude and they didnt even wanted to talk to us, so we went ahead and decided to just go ahead and buy the tickets when we went to the counter the ladies were like oh u cant swim in ur tights and t shirts, it's our religious to cover our bodies while we go in the pool and trust me none of us had any denims on or any other clothes other then tights and t shirts, again the ladies on the front seat were RUDE,unapologetic, and no sorry nothing, at the end we went ahead and spend about 500$ there, but the whole experience were humiliation. We didnt leave because we had kids with us and did wanted to disappoint them, but who ever is the manager of Helen and tubing should definitely respond to this since I have more stuff to talk about, because we were humiliated by your stuff at the park. WE WILL NOT BE BACK..!!!!!!!!

Worst experience of my life. The people that worked there were super unhelpful and had a terrible attitude. We went tubing and they said the river was low so it would take about 3 hours. We didn’t even float because we had to walk the entire river because of how low it was. I ended up twisting my ankle because of how slippery the rocks were and the “pushing sticks” won’t help you(which they didn’t even tell us we needed them). When we got back we told the lady about our experience and she told us in a snooty voice “no refunds.” We weren’t even trying to get a refund. We would just like them to acknowledge that they did not tell us how bad the river was. Hope you have a great time tubing.

It is always a blast to come here, I've been coming since I was a kid. For $10 you get a 2 hour ride that goes through downtown Helen. I highly recommend buying a walking stick/pole or bringing one because it becomes very useful

Great place to cool off. My boys liked the slides the best. The lazy river was too lazy. If you didn't push yourself around, you wouldn't get anywhere. They definitely need to get the water flowing.

When we got on the bus, they filled it up so much that people were having to stand up and the brakes on the bus were screeching so loud that it felt unsafe. One of the group members that I was with accidentally poped their tube and then when the rest of our group got to the exit the employees there wouldn't even give suggestions on where to look for her. Overall it felt very unsafe and the employees would do nothing to help find anyone.

As for the water park, you're gonna spend at least a quarter of your day waiting. We had a medium sized group, and all in all, it was fun. My bathing suit was dry by the time we got to use the water slide, and the lazy river only had one entrance, the bathrooms needed some attention for sure. be sure to wear shoes in the Helen creek to keep from getting cut by sharp rocks.. I went there with family when I was little, and the current flipped me over out of my tube and I almost drowned, but thankfully a random stranger had grabbed me up from the water. I'll never forget that. The river may not be safe for children.

4 waterslides (2 of each kind) and a lazy river -- that's it. No toddler/small kid area. No lifeguards anywhere around the lazy river. Only two lifeguards at the top of the slide and two lifeguards at the bottom. The lifeguards at the bottom are actually sitting on the concrete sunbathing. The Lazy River doesn't have much current on the backside of it so everyone kind of stalls out. They were also infested with yellow jackets and wasps. Saw several people get stung. Even saw one guest get a life guard and point out a nest. The kids ordered a slice of cheese pizza and we were told it would take 25 minutes to cook. We ordered a Powerade which was on the menu but then we were told we would have to go to the souvenir shop and buy it from there. $80 for me and two small kids was a bit pricey in my opinion for the little bit that they offer. We did get to tube the river in Helen but with the water level so low it was nothing but major pile-ups. Everyone was getting stuck and everyone was complaining that it was more work than fun. Of course that is not the facility's fault but I just felt like we paid a lot of money for not a lot of fun.

So im not saying it's an awful place. But the bathrooms were disgusting and I feel like since they don't allow you to wear cut off jeans they also shouldn't allow girls to be wearing bikinis with their butt showing. There are too many kids there for that. Even the female life guards had their bottoms up their butts. I just feel like it was a lot of money to go there and the push off sticks should be included in the price. I was really disappointed with the water park. Tje lifeguards at the top didnt even help people push off to go down the slide so the kids struggled.

Great, but small water park... Don't plan on spending the whole day there as the kiddos will get bored quick. Only a few slides and a lazy river. Great as a secondary plan before or after tubing. Very laid back, and courteous staff. Needs more restrooms and changing rooms though.

Arrived for tubing and was told they were removing a tree but it would be opened back up later. So since it was earlier in the day we said ok and paid for the waterpark passes to kill time. Right after and I mean within 5 minutes of paying the same woman announces tubing was canceled for the rest of the day! I went up there and asked her if we could come back another day to tube since that was the reason we were there and not the waterpark but she said no and when I reminded her that tubing was the only reason we were the she said"no refunds".. extreamly rude! Honestly she knew tubing was canceled before we paid and just wanted our money! Thankfully the kids did have an ok time but it wasn't want they asked for and since it was my son's birthday I don't appreciate her taking my money and not telling me that it was canceled from the beginning!

Usually a favorite but this time sucked.. communication, means so much in customer experience. We arrived at 3:30 to 'shoot the hooch' with my son and 2 stepsons...We drove almost 2hrs waited to park, called while waiting to be sure they were not at capacity. 10min later I am 4th in line to pay and she announces no more today. Surely she could have said it was close, something, even announced to the line waiting in 97° weather to pay that only 10 seats remained etc... Hopefully next time will be better.

The best ever recreational activity I discovered when I was in US. Tubing is something I would love doing every weekend as it is calm, cool and interesting. Loved the experience as a first timer, but would definitely want to visit again !

Have few rides but s good. Didn't worth it. But a enjoyed by going to the ride again again. Great for family. They sell a lot of stuff of tubing and water and swimming pool. That also sell swimming dresses for all kinds of ages. I think there are 6- 8 rides and 4 of them for teens and the rest all for all kinds of ages. Some are little scary some are not. We had a blast! It's a small park with just a lazy river and two water slides, but it's great for kids. Nice mix of people. One star loss for the terrible state of the bathrooms. Honestly there were so many flies it was like a scene from Amittyville Horror down there. Super gross. But the rest of the park was contrastingly clean. It was weird. But we had fun!

Had a great time dont get me wrong. But the river was low and at times very slow moving. Be prepared to be crowded by people and kids. We had some very rude teens floating near us throwing rocks and running to people's floats knocking them into rocks. But other than that it was fun.

Price for tubing was reasonable. However, the process is an unorganized hot mess. You just have to figure out where to go and what to do. They pack people on an old school bus, we had to stand with nothing to hold on to. Getting on your tube is very difficult. The current is fast and the rocks are very slippery. The employees do absolutely nothing to help or prepare you. A few helpful tips would have been nice. My family quickly got separated (get a tether strap). We all took several spills out of our tubes. I was bleeding and had broken my push stick. And my tube was deflating and sinking. It is only by the kindness of strangers that I wasn’t seriously injured. I feel like the tubing company could offer some sort of tips before setting out. I helped pull a tiny little girl from the river. She had gotten flipped out and was stuck in a current with rocks. I honestly get like I needed a helmet and a tour guide. So scary. I finally got to the edge and had to walk an hour back to the tubing place to meet my family. Walking through downtown Helen, soaking wet and bleeding....that was awesome. I wish there had been some sort of plan from the company. Like if you have a problem, do this or that. Maybe some check points somewhere. My husband and I are both bruised and sore. I have cuts on my feet, knees, and hands. Yes, I had on shoes. It was just rough and definitely not for everyone. There were tons of people who had a blast! Just make sure you know what you’re getting into before you go.

The Helen water park is a small water park with slides and a lazy river. We went and spent the day with friends and all of our children had a great time. We went during the week and it wasnt very crowded at all. I was extremely disappointed with the price. I feel as though $25 per child/adult is a little pricey. I was also disappointed with 3% fee that was charged to my credit card everytime I used it. So overall I will return but probably only once a year due to price. I will also make sure I bring cash so I am not charged the extra for using my credit card.

Cool place to super charge your tubing experience. One star for the only one entrance / exit from the lazy river. Bathrooms also needed attention but it's expected at a water park. Price was a bit steep for just a water park but is a value when combined with tubing. Nice shaded area to watch but wear shoes or your feet will suffer.

We had a ball. There are two open slides, two tube slides, and a lazy river. There were lots chairs to sunbathe on and a giftshop at the waterpark... There were massive amounts of things happening within this outfit like busses running and tubes going back to the beginning and they have a good system. We had an awesomely fun DAY of it so they totally got 5 stars. The bathrooms were kind of gross at the waterpark but that was my only complaint all day. On the main road you have to turn right at the circle K and go to the stop sign and another right to get to the waterpark but get in the river at the other end of town if you want a long trip. Just FYI.

We used this tubing and when we were done and got out we were told a bus would come pick us up... bus came 45 min later then she dropped us way further than where we told her. We showed her where our car was but she made us walk. Wasted the little time we had to spend in helen. The staff didnt seem to care.

Wayyyyy to many people and water was shallow so you have to get up alot. The river was the best part though. At the end there is a water park and we had some family go on the buses to get the cars and it took them 3 hours to come back. We had no phones, money, and children with us that were starving and had no idea if they were ok or something was wrong. So no one went to water park because we were unsure when they would show up. It was a long day. Definitely recommend going early and park at the end and then take a bus to the beginning or they need better planning with buses.

Water park is only two slides but we enjoyed them and the lazy river. Tubing down the river was very nice. When you get done with the river you walk back to the water park which no one told us. Not a far walk, so nothing to worry about. Would have rated more stars but the bathrooms were nasty.

Do NOT use this tubing company. They advertise $12 all day tubing and then when you arrive they try to scam you into paying $25 for the water park in order to tube all day!! The owner Lisa and her daughter refused to stand behind their pricing on their website and the prices listed when you pay. Sad when a company feels they have a monopoly on a situation and refuses to honor their advertising.

We were the last group of the day (me, my husband and our 9 year old daughter). Got on the bus from the water park and was sent to another location which was just a short bus ride. Got our floats and saw that other family's had straps to connect their float to their kids. So my husband went back to ask for one but they said it was for only familys with kids 5 and under. We get on the river and the water was so low everyone was getting stuck in a lot of places. You would go about 10 feet then get stuck. But in some place you just fly right by. Well because we didn't have the straps for our daughter we got separated from her. She got so ahead of us we couldn't see her. Because we were constantly getting stuck we got out of the river at someones cabin and walked the road by the river looking for our daughter. Luckily she is a smart girl and got off her float at another company's drop off. We found her there about 15 minutes later. We didn't want to chance being separated again so luckily this other company went above and beyond getting us back to our car at the water park. This was our first time tubing. I think it would have been better with higher waters (which I know the company can not control) and if the employee would have just given us a strap to stay with our daughter. (It was a scary feeling being separated from her surround by tons of strangers on a river)

We only came to Helen tubing because it allows kids under 2 years. There were hardly 10-12 people in the queue but it took almost an hour to just purchase the tickets. The service was super slow. Also the area where we were standing was suffocating. Once we got the tickets we had to wait for another hour for the bus. Tubing experience was good thankfully.. but worst was coming. The changing room was full of trash and flies.. there were mosquitoes too.. Never coming again to Helen Tubing..

We took the 2-hour “lazy” river tour followed by the water park. My family thoroughly enjoyed both. Great memories! But beware of the river with young kids and older adults. There were many strong currents and rocks. Several people in our group came out with a few bumps and bruises. I recommend purchasing a stick to help push away from the bank and rocks.

I just witnessed a very sad and disheartening event with Helen Tubing. If i could give this 0 stars, I definitely would. An elderly woman was having a very difficult time getting out of her tube and sat in it for about 10 minutes without any sort of assistance from the 2-3 Helen Tubing employees who were only about 50 feet away. Her granddaughter (I'm assuming) was sweet and was holding the woman's tube so she wouldn't float away. Eventually, the woman's husband (I'm assuming) got to the ramp and attempted to assist her, but was still unsuccessful. Again, there are 2-3 Helen Tubing employees talking, vaping, and paying absolutely no attention to this poor, elderly woman struggling to get out of her tube. The husband called out to the employees three times before anyone even looked in their direction. Finally, one of the employees came over to assist and the woman got out of her tube. To top of it off, as the elderly couple and their grandchildren were leaving, the employees seemed to be making fun of them. Yes, Helen Tubing may be cheaper than Cool River, but I would rather spend the extra money as to not support this type of a business.

I had fun. I did get caught up in our thing and was dragged across the rocks but i was fine. We got stuck very often. But i advise u to put lots of sunscreen on because you cant really take it with you so u will get sunburn on the tubing part. In the waterpark i did the kats and tubes the whole time and i got in the lazy river once. I just love adrenalin rush.

If i has to choose between reliving the WORST day of my life and going tubing with this “company” again, I would relive the worst day five million times. We got there and the woman working there was rude and completely unhelpful. The river was so low that everyone spent 85% of the “float” tripping over rocks and dragging the tubes behind them. When we finally got out of 2 inches of water they were calling a river, we told the unpleasant woman about how it was virtually impossible to float and maybe they shouldn’t be selling tickets. To this she responded “no refunds”, which we never asked for in the first place. As if the nightmare could end there, there was no such luck. The bathrooms were FILTHY. I have been in cleaner port-a-potties over seas. All in all, -6/10. I would rather get my wisdom teeth pulled a second time than EVER step foot in this place again.

Pros: longest stint for river tubing, nice slides Cons: Customer service is pretty poor. They do not give you simple information to make your visit better. For example, after the bus drops you off for river tubing- at the end you are supposed to WALK back to the water park. No one ever mentioned that. So then you end up on a 35 minute around the world bus ride trying to make it back to the water park which closes right at 5:45 ... so we had a very disappointed child who didn’t get to ride the slide one last time. It was disappointing. If they don’t want to tell you I feel like simple information could be posted on a sign or in a brochure. Also, the bathrooms were absolutely atrocious, super nasty , so definitely go to the bathroom BEFORE arriving. And there are only two cashiers so the line to enter was out the door. Buy tickets online if you don’t want to waste your day in a line out the door.

The water park was great. The water was clean. Would of given more stars but the rest rooms were horrible. I got there right when they opened for the day and the bathroom were not clean. There were toilet paper in the toilets and in the sinks and all over the floors. It smelt like you were in a porta potty. I would of thought they wpuld of at least cleaned the night before or before they oped for the day. The trash cans were full as well.

Literally there was poop on the floor the whole bathroom was NASTY the owner takes employees from the kitchen and makes them clean the bathrooms when it’s busy, VERY unprofessional company never been someone so poorly managed in my life , bought tickets didn’t even get to tube because the lines were so long I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone !! Go to cool river right down the road they are so much nicer and you get your moneys worth

I think the water level was possibly low but having tubed down rivers before, we were pretty disappointed in this experience. The 1.5 hr run took us 3 hrs and it was a lot more work than a leisurely float. The laughing we did have was over the mere ridiculousness of trying to enjoy something that was so frustrating. We had to cut our trip short because the sun went down so we got off at another outfitter and walked back. Probably a good, inexpensive thing to do for a family if you don't have kids who can't stay in their tubes and slow everyone down. Hmmmm. Tips: wear shoes. Buy a stick. Skip it all together and go to a better spot on the Hooch that doesn't require a stick to get you off of rocky bottoms. Maybe try the waterpark instead.

Friendly & courteous staff at both locations. Tubes in good condition, purchased wooden push sticks. 2 hr ride down the river which was fun. Only wished we could have brought our goody bag for the ride.

Had so much fun doing the zip line and tubing. Hunter and sidekick were awesome guides and made it very easy for the 94 year old in our party. As far as the tubing goes, all I can say is plan to be the first one in line in the morning, otherwise it’ll be 1hr+ wait time and the river will be a parking lot of tubes! We purchased tickets right as they opened and were able to thoroughly enjoy the experience.

Great way to experience the river and keep cool on a warm summer day. Not too strenuous, but you do have to keep alert. The staff was very friendly. The stick was definitely worth the price! Plan to get wet! I recommend clip-on sandals or water shoes.

Highly unimpressed. Visited on 06/26/2019 for tubing only. From the moment we arrived at the counter, we felt uncomfortable. Cashier wasn't friendly, and the facility was unorganized. The bus took us to the outpost, where no one even asked for our ticket to claim our tube. The launch was completely unorganized with about 50+ people hitting the riverside at one time. The tubing trip itself was fun, but when we arrived back at the waterpark, we had to walk a block to get back to where we were parked at the actual waterpark. We used the showers/restroom in the waterpark to change. The showers were disgusting and had obviously not been cleaned in quite some time. There were flies everywhere. When we return next year, we'll use a different tubing company, even if it costs a little more.

Staff seemed like they couldn't be bothered with our questions and could care less to lead us in any way as it was our first visit (obviously) one lady seemed annoyed she had to stop counting her money on the register (middle of the day) and one fella didnt seemed thrilled he had to look up from his phone. Food was way overpriced and they made us order at a separate location away from the menu. Tubing was a little too long. I preferred the 1 hour ride. Especially with a total of 4 kids along with our group. Very disappointing considering we brought quests from out of state and spent a good bit of money. Next time we'll settle for the $8 short tube ride with the neighboring company.

We went on 4th of July. It was packed. The wait to get in was crazy long and hot, but given the date i didnt expect less. The water was luke warm which was a bummer. The slides are fun and lines were short. The food prices are too high

So enjoyed our time! We had a very large group and they had us in and out quick so we could get in the creek for tubing. The bus driver was grand. Loved the slides ! The lazy river was a bit more work that desired. Was hoping it had more of a current to move you along. We would go back again for sure. Thanks staff for adding to our family reunion!

Great but expensive as heck I mean really really expensive enjoyed tubing for the first time as long as water level is high and you don't get stuck on rocks then it's relaxing but the low water levels was biggest factor as to why I was not able to float well

We had so much fun. It was July 5th and super busy. The water was not high from what others that had gone before told us. Our float was nearly 2 hours. It did start to rain 2/3 way through but we were already wet. We did not do the waterpark. I highly recommend a push stick and water shoes. Also took a waterproof phone case. They have lots of restrictions on what you can take so leave bags in the car. You will take a shuttle between offices so you can park at either office or the waterpark.

My rating is for the waterpark only.... very overpriced for the quality and cleanliness you receive. $25 to just be in the park is outrageous.... it was one of the nastiest places I’ve ever been. Someone literally pooped on the bathroom floor (I’m guess because all of the toilets were clogged) when I was there. There were flies everywhere in the food area. The line to get into the park and to get river tubes was the same and took forever. The food line was long and the food was ratchet and expensive. Not much else to do in Helen which can be the only reason people still come here.

Family fun for all ages. Not too big not too small just the right size for a small family. Could definitely use more larger lockers and some large umbrellas to sit under.

I love this place and have been tubing with them since I was young but I am so disappointed today. I know they can’t control the level of the water but giving your customers a heads up that the river is down would be helpful. Also, give people an option to get out half way down. We had a minor emergency but had no way of getting back to our vehicle. We had to float all the way down.

A overall fun experience, but because I am tall and heavy I got caught on rocks in the bottom of the river and had a hard time keeping up with my lighter friends. That considered this may be better for people under 170 lbs. Don't let that stop you from trying it though. Also don't go to the Helen tubing, go to cool river tubing it is much better.

I thoroughly enjoy tubing down the amazon river through Georgia in helens bright pink circles made of cement. The only downside is the bright pink cement attracts the bengal tigers, I recommend taking a gun to fight them off.

Customer service counter was a bit sour. Not too friendly or mean.... just a middle of the road demeanor. Park is a bit small with 2 tubes, 2 slides and a "too" lazy river with only one current flow pipe for the entire river so the actual current was a bit too slow if there were others they weren't on. There was a bus running tubes to the river but, it was the last one and we just got on the rides. Pricing wasn't bad per person. Lifeguards are available and place is good for all sizes. Good place to cool down and chill. The have a concession area that looked to have some pretty good selection of eats but, didnt try it.

The prices are outrageous. It was 107$ for a family of 4 and there's not enough there to do for that price. We just went ahead and did the river rafting which was 8$ a person and you paid there.

Horrible service from the outside Hispanic workers. They yelled at people trying to see the stamps on their hands until a grown Mexican man approached my eight year old trying to grab him, yelling at him because he couldn’t speak English trying to see if he had a stamp on his hand., until my husband yelled at him telling him to talk to the parent to ask for a receipt because a child that young does not know what your non English speaking a$$ is trying to say. Dirty bathrooms, just absolutely horrible service. Helen will never see me again. -20 stars

We purchased all day tubing and water park around 11 am spent 2 hours at water park and then waited 2.5 hours for bus to take us back tubing and when we finally got there they said no more tubing for wristband. Now when we purchased at 11am the lady said we would be able to tube and Waterpark until 8 pm, after waiting for over 2 hours and still kept selling tickets they decide to stop tubing because apparently we already had our chance, which we didn’t even get to tube because of waiting for the bus. I do understand it’s the day before Memorial Day but it’s all about communication. I spent over 200 in wristbands and didn’t even get to tube. It’s false advertisement if you say all day tubing and then stop and say no more for you only for people with blue tickets. You basically made money from us already. I will not be using the pink tube company again. And I was basically screwed out of tubing and my money . I will be using cool river tubing as I hVe in the past. Water park was a waste of time and money. The place was super dirty filled with flies and trash by the bathroom. Management was not concerned with cleanliness, just concerned about taking money in and over crowding the place. I have never seen so much trash and flies in one place it was ridiculous

Great place for a hot summer family outing. The water is always cool. There is usually 100's of people to bump your inertube into. We go every year at least once, or more. Helen is beautiful. Lots of shops and restaurants. Lots of variety. On the weekends the travel through Helen can take a while. There is always a bunch of Harley Davidsons cruzing through. Beer fest amd October fest. I definitely recommend going and floating the top of the chattahoochee river. God bless.

It was really fun and they will let you tube with your dog for free if you share a tube or you can get the dog a separate tube and put a towel over it. I recommend getting the strap to connect the tubes and the stick to push off of rocks. My only complaint was the line to get on the bus was an hour and a half and the bus ride was crowded and took about half an hour, BUT it was the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and midday so maybe it’s not usually that crowded. Overall, great experience and I’d do it again.

There's nothing to offer besides the lazy river the slide and the tunnel slide. There's no swimming pool and they don't allow anyone to swim at all. After 2 slides down each ride and my kids were bored. I didn't even get in due to my skin irritation and I still had to pay $25 to enter a total of $80.75 gone down the drain. This was our first and last time visiting this place.

Great Value for the family and we had so much fun. Yes, you get stuck in a few spots, but there were so many people out tubing that we all work together to help each other. We will definitely be back. As far as the tubing company we chose, I don't know much about the competition, but we had a little bit of a wait getting our tickets, but after that, everyone was very helpful.

We had a great time tubing and then the water park. My only problem was the water park bathroom definitely needs cleaning more frequently when there really busy and they need way more lockers. And please put neck rest on the tubes that go down the river like the ones in the water park. My neck hurt so bad and I heard at least 10 people on the river complaining about it too. Other then that we loved it.

Paid for park and tubbing witch was$112 for a family of four. And they shut down the park due to light thunder and refused to give any kind of discount or a rain check for the next day. We never got to use the water park.
