If you are a rider it's a really nice ride! As you go into park from chickamauga Ave turn left after the red light go all the way down road it has a beautiful bridge!

This place is full of history and has the fort where the battle in the clouds took place. They apparently have weddings here too. There are even a few hiking trails going down the side of the mountain.

This is a pretty neat park. At the entrance, there is a 5$ entry fee. The park contains a nice pathway, huge monument, several cannons, and a neat castle and lookout point over Chattanooga.

Wonderful places to visit. Actually two separate battlefields. Worth the trip but plan to spend hours here. A lot of open spaces and trails to enjoy as well.

Roadside Rip-off.. Was hard to find and people at book store was ignorant and rude.. Charge for everything including parking .Toured many civil war battlefields and this was the WORST !!

I have seen a lot of parks. This is one of my favorites. We stopped into the store outside the gate (missed the information center going in) and the gentleman there was very helpful. The park has a paved trail around it. The museum was awesome. Stopped into the information center coming out and it was educational. Staff was lovely. The park has a beautiful ara of flowering trees. Wonderful piece of civil war history!!

Very historic.....if you are in the area, stop and take a look. Before you visit, google the history of this site to make it more enjoyable. Make sure you see the Ochs memorial...well worth the time and effort.

This park is developed and well-maintained. Plenty of shade and the views are incredible. If you have the time, the best way to get here is by the Incline Railway.

Outstanding views at lookout mountain. Chickamauga is an outstanding battlefield with lots of interpretive markers and monuments. Well worth the visit

A wonderful park involved during the Civil War with fine views of St. Louis from high on the ridge. The path walkways are level and easy to navigate. I highly recommend coming here if you're into history, especially the Civil War.

Be sure and see Walker painting of the Battle inside visitor center. Small site at top of Lookout Mountain but has good explanations
