Was an awesome park. Only think I didn't like was you couldn't virtually sign up for more than one ride at a time. One of the rides we were in like for kept getting shut down several times while we waited and we weren't able to ride anything else in the mean time. Other than that it was a great time.

Davy Armstrong

Little tricky St first to sort ourselves out. Note :, don't take too much with you!!! Great day, great fun. Going again

Jeffrey Allen

Best water park ever. Only thing I wish they had more of which I cant hold against them is the VIP cabanas. You can reserve them ahead of time and everyone will if you dont. But the park was amazing as were guest services.

Robert Bradley

Wonderful place to take the family and let everyone get their water fix. So much to do and so much to enjoy. I will being my family back again!

Anthony Cooper

Beautiful and clean park. Visiting in early October and the weather is still in the 90's with only about 25% park capacity. Perfect time of year to take advantage of no lines and all that Universal has to offer.

Brook Denison-Coleman

The day started with a small snafu with our premium seating - the lock boxes were having some connectivity issues, so it took close to 20 tries to lock/unlock with the taputapu. Then we waited about 20 minutes for a server before asking at the check-in area. We also noticed ants on our chairs during that wait. But they moved is to a new spot with a better lock box and no ants, and gave the two of us in our party a ride now for 1 ride of our choice, so in the end it made up for it.

Bob Meyers

I'm glad I bought the hopper pass to go here one hell of a waterpark loved every minute of it

Brian DeFoe

Amazing. Best water park in Orlando. The virtual line is so nice. You can go in the pools, lazy river, eat, drink, and chill while waiting for your turn on the big slides.

Beatrice Thomas

Beautiful set up but too small for the amount of people that were there Memorial Weekend. Not enough lockers. This is spot you hit up early in the am or off peak season. But still a nice spot.

carl wilks

Volcano bay is a very well thought out venue. The tapu tapu system is amazing and hopefully roles over into their universal theme parks asap. Very relaxing place and amazing slides ranging from easy to extreme!!! Great day out

April Boal

Loved it and so did the kids. Only issue is with extremely hot pathways so make sure u wear flip flops or swim shoes all the time

Aaron May

Our family of 4 had a great time. We stayed in Cabana Bay resort and were able to get into the park at 7:30am. We rode all the rides but one. Not as many rides as I though. (Large kids area we didn’t use). We bought the cheap express passes and only used them on 2 rides. Would have been ok with out them because the virtual line is pretty sweet. Our favorite ride was the fearless river. Followed by the aqua coaster. Good times.

Amazing day at volcano bay everything amazing, staff, slides. Dont think I need to elaborate more the place is huge, tones of empty loungers in lots of different locations. Only two things to moan about, 1 it was $26 to park after spending a fortune on the tickets disgusting really trying to suck every penny from you. 2 the park is quite hard to navigate with no maps around you have to use your tapu band but overall a fantastic day, my daughter especially loved the rapid river.

Pascale Yammine

Favorite water park ever!!!!! The bracelet system was very convenient and made our time there so easy. For example we were able to hold a spot on a ride while we ride others.. lockers were clean and staff were nice.

Elaine Vasquez

One of the best Universal parks I've been to. Mainly by the atmosphere and the system of TapuTapu to reserve your place in the rides without making the line and bake in the sun. Lots of things to explore and relax in if you're not into water rides too. Perfect for a family vacation. Who knew you can last all day in a water park and not be tired of it.

adam finch

Excellent, not too many cues. September best time to visit... The drop tubes are excellent.... Well worth a visit if in Orlando.

David Vermillion

My family and I came for the day. We got a private cabana and it was absolutely soooo worth it. Our cabana attendant for the day couldn't have been any nicer and more helpful. Such an amazing day on our vacation.

carolann farrell

Alot of fun, i really like the fast paced lazy river. Only down side was we were about to go on the plunge and it started thundering and lighting so they had to close. Not their fault but still a bummer. Overall great family day.

Andy Baistow

By far the best water park we've been to, there's nothing to dislike here at all and plenty of things to do and go on. This is a must place to visit to either just chill out and sunbathe or to just have so much fun on everything here...........it's FANTASTIC!!!!!!!

Kirsty Chandler

What an amazing park! First visit and I want to go back again. I got stung by a yellow jacket and both Jordan (security) and Lori (first aid) were extremely caring and made sure I was okay and even arranged a free ice cream for the inconvenience. Brilliant day out!!

Amb P

I loved that you can swim in the lazy river. And there's an awesome fast river that you just need a life vest for. Sand under all the lounge chairs, for some reason feels cleaner then just wet floors even thought it's probably not, still prefer it

Marlene Cipriani

My new favorite water park. You never wait any more than 10 mins for any ride. Great food, staff and atmosphere. And the rides are amazingly original. We had the best time.

Harriet Nelson

The parks ideas are really cool. Not having to wait in line and being inside the Volcano is really awesome! It seems like the park opened before they were ready. There were many malfunctions with both the wrist bands and the rides. Multiple rides were down at once. Once they fix all of the issues it should be a really fun park. The staff is AMAZING. Every time we had an issue the staff were more than willing to help us and we're so nice and polite. Definitely wait a few weeks but you should check it out if you like water parks!

Naty G

Loved this park! So much food variety. So much rides, TapuTapu watch helps so much with the line. Locker rentals $9 & up varies on sizes. (Helpful) 4 rides and river you can get on while waiting. Wave pool as well. Kids area as well.

Lindsey Craft

Love this park and will be back! The TapuTapu device is easy to use and allows you spend less time in line and more time in the water. It's also your locker key which is very convenient. The food was great and reasonably priced for a theme park. There are so many slide options available for all levels. I particularly loved the aqua coaster and the drop slides. Overall, it's a great day and we wished we hadn't waited until the last day of our trip to try it out.

George Hill

Fun rides! Love that they provide tubes and life jackets and didn't charge more for them. Friendlier staff. Have a plan to chill during Thunderstorms when everything shuts down, because it can last 1.5 hours. Ride Pictures are not very good (blurry or dark), wouldn't recommend the photo pass.

Manny Ingco

Very impressed by the service. Everybody we spoke to was knowledgeable and happy to assist us and go the extra mile. Daughter lost goggles and they replaced it with a brand new one! One of the many instances the staff was attentive.

Riyadh Mahomed

Excellent water park. I like the new concept of return times for attractions rather than waiting in long queues. Was new and modern and had the latest water attractions

Mark Chin

Disney better step up there water park game because volcano Bay definitely takes the cake. No lines No need to carry around your wallet. Such an amazing place the rides are fantastic there's something to do for everyone whether you are thrilled seeker or just ready to do some relaxing. Excellent kids place as well. I suggest trying the cabana we did it with my family of 10 and we thoroughly enjoyed the service.

Elizabeth Crocker

Beautiful water park that truly feels like an island resort. Very fun water slides with various levels of thrill. Also nice wave pool, lazy river, and, my favorite, the not so lazy river! Convenient rental locakers, and nice, clean bathroom/shower facilities. The food is also very good, but not cheap.

Carlton Wilson

Were it not for the extremely poor performance of several park employees I would give this place 5 stars. The water attractions are fantastically engineered and super fun. The communication skills of the employees need to be improved dramatically. We encountered several who were just plain immature, rude, and lazy. For that price courtesy should be included.

Susan English

Must be another way to control the weight limits on a few of the tides as saw a fair few people very embarrassed walking away and trying to explain to their kids why they can do a ride with them. Other than that the lazy river and fearless river are great fun. Pizza we had was amazing

Nathan Jeffrey

Great water park. The tapu virtual wait lines is a great idea, and some excellent rides. Watch out for the tap payment system - apparently administered by a third party and everyone on site denies any knowledge/responsibility - my son accidentally activated a new locker whilst trying to open mine ($13 for a locker, at a waterpark

Joshua Gonzalez

Always a great time at volcano Bay. Krakatau is the best water park ride I've ever been on!

Lord Midian

For a water park it was ok. We stayed at the Cobana bay resort. To me the hotel had more don't get me wrong Volcano bay was fun but if you have elderly or very small children your fun is limited. To go on the best rides to have to climb at least 100 steps if not more. Look it was fun but my wife and child struggled to keep up.

Chris Farrell

The entire family really enjoyed it here. Very clever to have the bracelets so you don't have to stand there in line very long. During the day, seating started to become an issue if you want to be in front of the wave pool. Favorites were to swim the "lazy" river that can be a little faster in spots and the aqua coaster was awesome.

Ashley Lapierre

I'm not much for water slides of any kind, but I'm all about the lazy river! My family spent hours just relaxing and swimming in the lazy river, and then discovered the super fun rapid river! With the weather so hot, it was great to spend some time in the water!

richard bateman

Awesome place. Queues for rides really well controlled by the taptau system. The fearless River is a great one to waste time whilst waiting for turn elsewhere. Food good quality even at the theme park price. Overall an excellent day, we spent 5 hours there and only game away due to the rain. Enough at the park for adults, teenagers and younger

Seynah Woolwine

Nice park. A lot to do but that wave pool keeps calling you back. You even get a work out while calling the waves.

Tatiana Cuellar

An all around good time regardless if their lines get long. There is something for everyone to do, especially while waiting to get called back to the rides.

raquel baker

Was there with family and friends and lots of kids and we all had a great time. Staff was great, very friendly, we felt comfortable and safe with the kids in the water even at times by themselves, lifeguards ALL OVER the place. They close at 9 PM and We were the last ones out. This place is amazing, loved it.

Tatreas Coney

My husband and I have been here twice. Its nice but the rides wait times are very long. The food is over priced and not all that. However when you get a chance to ride you will enjoy every minute of it..it's a tropical island atmosphere.

Cesar DeSouza

Amazing water park. Spent a day with family here and we all had a blast. Everywhere you look is beautiful. No long lines as the other parks. Good selection of drinks and food. It`s a must go.

Renee Roman

I found it challenging to access the direct location to catch the bus in the parking lot, there is just alot going on in that one space (the company uses it well) could use more signs. Great park (when you arrive lol), nice long walk to admire to theme and decor with plenty of activities for the whole family.

Claire Wilkins

OMG we had such a great time! We were so super busy the whole time that we forgot sun cream and are totally burnt! So make sure you put your sun cream on before you get too distracted!! The slides were excellent, although a lot of them have weight limits so if your in a big group, there maybe space for up to 6 people on the raft but if your over the weight limit they will split your group, safety first!! But all in all we had a great day!!!

Jordan Boulton

Volcano bay is so much fun! I've gone a few times as a USO pass holder and it doesn't get old! Krakatoa is a must! It's my favorite! There are lots of food options and there is no shortage of water carts here and there! There are lots of slides all of which are so much fun! There is also a long winding lazy river which I could spend an entire day! There is also something they call a rapid river which is so much fun! The atmosphere is so cute and tropical! I could go day after day and it still won't get old! They allow you to bring water in, so bring some because in a hot day it can fell like 100+ degrees so it's important! Also whilst they have sunscreen to purchase, bring your own! It's $20 a bottle!

Shirly Niego

One of the best water parks. A lot of thrilling rides of all kinds. The park is beautifully decorated and everything is super clean. When you get in the park they give you a special watch. You can use it to pay up, trigger special water fountains in the park, and most importantly - you use it to get in a virtual line to the slides. This way you never wait too long on the line. Amazing.

Eric Artemus

Best water park...ever! Family of five, more than enough to do and keep busy all day long! Loved the wild river (similar to a lazy river, but add rapids!), must have gone through 10x! Slides were awesome and water coaster was really cool. Never seen anything like that before.

Nitra Palmer

I thought it was a great experience! The park is a great size- not too small not too big. Lots of places to sit and a slide or water spot for everyone of every age and level. It’s clean, well planned out and organized. The food was reasonably priced. There are lockers- the smaller lockers were $13 for the day and you can pay with credit card at the lockers. The employees were nice and everyone was so happy.

Darren

All I can say is after visiting 2 other water parks in Orlando that this is hands down the best water park with slides and stuff like that, the staff are very polite and extremely helpful. There are enough water rides and fun swims for everyone & every age. There are a ton of deck chairs if you want to sort your tan out or you can rent the cabanas which house up to six people, the changing rooms and showers are very clean and plentiful.

Joel Alvarado

This park is really fun and entertaining there are many attractions to enjoy from the extreme to the relaxing ones. I had a great time there and you can definitely enjoy this park with your family and friends. There are many things to do. On another note, the price of the food is high and there are not many options, it's pretty much fast food.

Pawel M

If you have the choose 1 of the 3 parks, I'd recommend this one. In the summer time this is the place to go. Lots of fun rides and relaxing pool areas. Check the weather ahead of time though, rides will close in bad weather/thunder/lightning.

Nick Gizzi

Park is very family friendly. Has a good amount of slides. I would recommend if you stay at one of the Universal hotels to come that hour early. Rides wait will get longer as the day goes. Wish the whole park opened at 8. The rainforest section was closed until 9am. Word of advice place to set up is under the big canopies through out the park.

jay wineland

Favorite water park! Walking thru the volcano & going down the water slides in the volcano are a must! Service is generally great, & normally very clean! Great place for all ages

LoKo American

So much fun. A bit crowded. Wish they had more shaded areas. Its Florida in Summer you cant even walk on the pavement barefoot let alone find shade here. All the rides are great. Come prepared.

D Boone

Greatest water park in FL, it’s so organized. They have watches for wait times or reservations n was amazing and it tracks ur kids I heard-didn’t try. No need to haul equipment up stairs to rides, lines where not long because almost every ride had multiple lanes. They have many life guards, cabana and service was exceptional. The rapid river was like a real river which u have to wear life jackets-it’s a thriller but I do not recommend 5yr old below in it at all!

Brittany Leydon

It was fun, but honestly it could have been better for all the effort we spent getting in. I waited in a line for 30+ minutes just to have an employee print a hard copy of a ticket I already purchased online. It doesn't seem to make sense why you would have to wait in the same line as people buying tickets. It could be because we went in the summer, but this place was so over packed that it made enjoying ourselves difficult. The on-line concept was cool and probably one of the best things about the park. The rides are fun, but I would not recommend the wave pools or lazy rivers. Just too many people bumping into you to have a great time.

juliane Wilson

We spent 2 days at Volcano bay. The rides were so much fun! The only problem is you better not get hurt. I broke a toe on their raging river. They would not tape it or give me anything to tape it. I was told that is not their protocol. I have worked in the medical field for awhile now. So I told the so called medical guy I can tape it myself and he says to me I have worked as a emt for 35 years. I was not asking him for his resume I just wanted to tape my toe! I was not even asked if I needed to go to the ER! But we all know they do not do anything for broken toes! Hence why I wanted to tape them! I have never in my life have been refused medical attention and nor have I have not helped someone who needed medical attention. Just because of your so called protocols does not make it legal! Moral of the out come carry your own first aid kit .

G.C. Dillard

Great water park rides. We went late afternoon and avoided most of the crowd. We had to wait on only one ride but we were able to get "in line" for it and ride other stuff in the meantime. Lots of fun!

Cube Property Marketing Ltd

Family fun for everyone my kids are 18, 15, and 10 and all found something to enjoy. The Rapids are amazing fun for all...a lazy river with a little spice! The volcano is also an amazing feature. Dont go if the whether if not 100% as the rides get closed due to lightning storms so pick your day wisely. ENJOY

Katelyn Plays

I have been to volcano twice and the first and my second time was awesome and we all enjoyed it very much, but the first time was horrible. When we went there there were multiple storms and we were not able to get on one ride but that was not the problem the problem was when we tried to get refunds the woman who responded argued and disrespected us we argued that every time we got in line for a ride it started raining and we had to walk back down. So she called her boss and he didn't give us a refund but did give us tickets so the next time we visited we didn't have to pay and one the second trip there it was much better. So all I have left to say is keep improving and it is a great place to visit for with your family

Shevon Amari

This is a wonderful water park. And the wristbands they give you is just as wonderful. If the line is too long for a ride you can use the wristbands to tell you when to come back when the line is not long so as to make better use of your time elsewhere.

Diana Cruz

Expect Universal to make everything epic! They nailed it with this spectacular water park! I wish the wave pool had stronger waves like the ones at wet n wild but besides that we loved it!

Christina Schrayter

Absolutely hated this park. Bought an annual pass and now im.stuck with it merely because I chose monthly payments. I'm a single mother with a 2.5 year old. I had to carry him, fold his stroller up, carry that and all our bags on the bus ride there. Kids area is in the far back middle of the park. The sitting area is so small....I found one empty chair and was chased down by a family demanding me to move because it was theirs and I had obviously just moved their stuff. It was empty! A lifeguard kicked my son and I off a kiddie slide we had been on fir 20 minutes. After she left I asked the next guard and he said of course we can ride. On the way home I folded up my stroller n carried my son and bags and stroller and everyone else just brought their strollers on board (not folded up) while I was struggling. Never.again.

Yanay Viera Lorenzo

What can we say about Orlando’s parks that you haven’t heard already? It’s always incredible. I loved the waiting system Volcano has. You don’t have to wait 2 hours in a lane to try a ride. They give you a bracelet to control waiting time while you are enjoying other attractions.

Shirley Rivera

Amazing, me and my kids have a blast. The most convenient thing is we can still have fun in the park until the watch tell you you ride is ready. Not line. The watch vibrate under the water. the rapids river was really fun. I highly recommend this park.

Jared Rentz

What a fun time we had at Volcano Bay. We stayed for a full 12 hours and everyone had fun. The rides are pretty kid friendly over 8 years old. I recommend bringing your own towels and foods for the family if you are on a budget. Oh and lots of closed bottled water in a bag. The large lockers are $16 a day and it's worth it for the family to store all the stuff.

PDG CFC79 Videos

Love it here, I'm a Annual Pass holder so i come allot. You can enjoy it in different ways, chill by the main pool and do lazy river, also can do many different slides from tame to scary, also there's a kids Area what's a nice size where they can play. Plenty of locker areas around the park just not at the front same for loungers to chill on all round the park, you can rent cabanas also. Few places to eat and drink also. As i am staying at universals endless summers resort right now, i can tell you there is a free bus rnd every 20mins from hotel to here and back. If staying at cabana bay it's walking distances, staff will tell you they hotel way to park.

Katherine Bostick

You can wear yourself out at Volcano Bay. The rides are fantastic, although some were too scary for me to ride (at 63 yrs old), but the kids and grandkids loved all the rides. Even though there were long wait times on a few of the rides, we were given wrist bands that we could scan and hold our place in line. When it neared time for our ride, the wrist band let us know to head over to the ride. There is a very large children's section for the little ones that are too short for the rest of the rides. My family and I had a fantastic time and are looking forward to going again.

L H

This place is so much fun...whatever your age!! There must be every age up to their 80s, all enjoying themselves. We went for the day so worked out a bit more expensive than the other ticket options. Worth every

Cesar P

Beautiful place. Lot of things to do and watch. The wrist band they give you there to make line in the rides it's a wonderful idea, no more waiting in line for hours. You just scan the wrist band and it will give you a time to come back to the ride mean while you can do other stuff in the park. Everything in the park its organized and clean. Thank you Volcano Bay for a wonderful experience.

Great fun , fast lines, all around great time. TapuTapu is awesome. Tap and go have fun , play , pay . Tap for all daily pictures as well, at the end of the day you have all of them of each run . Best water park I have been to.

Lisa Vieira

Had a great day! Got here early and maximized the time. Luckily, no usual afternoon Florida thunderstorms, so just rode out all the energy. Heading home tired but happy!

Anahi Montoya

Had an amazing time at this water park! Be weary of linking your debit card to the wristband...my bank (BOA) thought it was fraud and automatically sent me a new debit card. Also I was charged twice for a large locker. Other than that, best water park I have ever been to.

Sarah Vazquez

We thoroughly enjoyed this park. So much to do and so convenient. The taputapu watches were such a creative touch to let you know when to return to a ride. The food we had at the Feasting Frog was delicious! We will return!

Michael Brugger

What a wonderful waterpark and experience. from the fast-moving River to The lazy River and all of the slides in between, it's a wonderful family adventure. there aren't very many lines because everything is virtual which means you could be right now and go on immediately or sometimes you have to wait but your wristband tells you how long it would be and countdowns for you. TIP's You can't just pull up to the park you have to park at the main universal and take a bus. Bring lots of sunscreen and your own towel to save money

Shannon Delaney

AMAZING! We took a chance and went on a day w terrible weather. We had the park to ourselves and got to walk on to every single ride with no wait. What a complete blast! Then the sun came out and we had our own nearly private oasis. The park is immaculate. Every inch of it is clean. The staff are beyond nice and so helpful. Several times a day we were personally directed to rides by staff. Every person we encountered was a total pro. The rides are so thrilling and loads of stuff to do. The Fearless River is so much fun and the Aqua Coaster rocks. The food was crazy good for a theme park We will definitely be back.

Joicelyn Dingle

So much fun! 1) Go early morning. By early morning, I mean as close to open as possible. We went on Saturday around 11:30am and they were at capacity. We went back on Sunday around 8:30 am. 2)Highlight for not-best-swimmers--The Lazy River. Only problem, the Lazy River is cool on the morning around noon its packed. 3) The burgers and fries are good! But several options on food and bars. 4) Great place for kids and adults. 5) They have lockers and bathrooms everywhere. Very clean.

shunda sowell

Well it was bittersweet my son went there could not get on all rides because he's every bit of 6/8 tall but what I can say once he called me and let me know I called customer service and the representative I believe her name was either Meghan or Morgan she was so nice she did everything she could to help me and she did thank you for great customer service and I got half of my money back

Gabriella Fun stuff

We had a 5 day Universal studio tickets, out of 5 days the kids wanted to go 3 times to the Volcano Bay. Best water park ever, favorite parts was the system so we don't have to wait for the slides. The fearless river oh my it's a fantastic idea. The staff are very friendly. Little bit overpriced, but every other way the park is fantastic. Congratulation Universal studio Orlando

Yearn t-Learn

Awesome water park. You'll get a tap tap; brilliant idea. I would recommend getting the "once per ride" fast pass. Well well worth using while waiting for virtual queue. We did all the parks in Orlando. This was by far the best family day out. We'll be back.

Chris Huff

Best park Universal has. The TapuTapu wrist bands that allow you to check-in at rides instead of waiting in a traditional hour long line is awesome. I'm not sure why they haven't implemented the same feature at their other parks. Longest actual waiting in line we did was like 5 minutes. Other than that we spent the day "checked-in" at slides and spent the actual wait time floating in one of the two "rivers" or wave pool. Best amusement park in Orlando.

Elliott Hough

This is our second water park we’ve been to in Orlando and our favorite so far. The bracelets worked well and functioned to their purpose. It was a nice feature to have a time to get on a ride so you could occupy yourself doing something else. Would recommend Volcano Bay to anyone who can’t decide between the three parks. Another bonus, everything seemed SPOTLESS! Very very clean.

Ahmad Millwala

Lots of water rides! Good pretzels.. pricey though. If going with kids check the height requirements.

Julie Carter

What would make Volcano bay excellent? An adult only pool area where adults can lay out and enjoy a quiet drink and swim.

Rita Vandivort-Warren

Many excellent and creative rides. Wristwatch technology for rides and payment is great. Could use water bottle filling stations and more casual seating around park.

Jennifer Lancaster

The good - The overall place is nice to visit. When we went, it wasn’t terribly busy so that was nice. Liked how they have sprayers in the curb to wet the ground so it keeps your feet cool. The watch and virtual line was a neat idea (didn’t use because I hung out with the little one but the husband and older child did). The bad- Never heard of renting towels. When I went to the Disney water park (a few years ago) they provided them free. That was ridiculous to pay $4-6 for towels. We did the premium sitting that was a waste of money. Nice to have a shaded area but the service was terrible. Put our flag up one time but nobody showed up after 30 minutes so we went to go get our drinks ourselves. Tried to use it again and our server Praise was unprofessional when it came to explaining that the souvenir cup refills worked different than what the bar provided. Why does the service not work the same all around at the park? She then took our cups and never returned. 30 minutes later the husband went to the podium to ask when a rain storm hit and they took off. So would I recommend? Probably not.

Afrika Samuel

Absolutely loved this water park! My favorite of all the water parks in Orlando. Recommend Premium seating! The overall experience was outstanding!

Elizabeth Lorenzo

Love the atmosphere at this park. Very relaxed and plenty of fun for all ages. I’ve been here a few times. But there’s a few things you should keep in consideration: bring a towel, don’t bring too much stuff (unless you’re willing to walk around with it, you’ll need a locker and the bigger locker, the more expensive), get the Universal app and add your credit card to Tapu Tapu (makes purchasing easier and you’re able to leave your card in the car/hotel/locker), don’t go to the first locker area, and keep in mind the busy season (Summer time. It will be packed). If you get these down packed, you should be good and have a great vacation!!

Ana J.

Awesome time and very organized. If you're on the heavy side there is weigh restrictions but will be able to get on most of the slides. Just not the ones on the actual Volcano and one of the regular ones. But you will have fun

Jorden's World

Love this place. Went there this past weekend and everything was worth the money. The virtual wait was an amazing idea and the lazy river was so relaxing. We got the opportunity to enjoy every attraction from the lazy river to the body plunger. Oh and be careful with the fearless river it is indeed NOT a lazy river

Jodie Gay

Beautiful, clean, excellent slides and rides, awesome virtual line technology. Best water park I've ever been to!

sukhjit singh Randhawa

When we buy parking pass we told,we want to go volcano bay,guy didn't listen what we told,he gave us other parking lot ticket prime $40,we are very confused how to enter in volcano bay park, then we call our friend,he said exit the park and re-enter right side ,may be they allow you,but when we go there and told them whole story, they feel sorry and refund full money and gave us free parking,I never forget my good experience about this,we waist our 1 hour but get a free parking,I love the way they treat us

Sam

An amazing water park that we enjoyed so much, we visited twice during our stay. The virtual queues are fantastic and they don't park the park too much so there is plenty to do that has no queue while you wait for your allotted time to ride. The food was incredible and so cheap. We had the mango pulled pork burger and chips and it was delicious. The river ride was our favourite and we spent hours being floated around the park. Easily the best water park I have ever visited and we can't wait to return. There are some amazing thrill rides here and plenty of places to chill out.

Benjamin Booth

One of the best water parks I have ever been too. There is a plentiful supply of sun loungers and the virtual queueing system works great. The park itself is very clean and tidy looking and most the staff I spoke to were extremely helpful and friendly. The changing rooms were also very clean and tidy and offer a lot more privacy than Disney’s water parks.

Kammyia Barnes

This was our 1st time here and he had an awesome time. I only gave it 4 stars because our bands didnt work properly. At the end of our day our family went to check out our pictures and only 1 from our entire day came up on the kiosk. It was a bummer as we were there celebrating my step sons 11th birthday. I will say we will return.

Evanya Parker

Great place... just didnt like all the sand. The rides were great and the lazy river was my favourite, super fun and fast! It was very enclosed also, due to all the nature, buildings, etc. Especially with all the people in there, felt very squished!

Dennis Bartels

We had an awesome time with the family at volcano bay. Waiting times were very short and we used the waiting in line system for the water rollercoaster (waiting time was 70 minutes) all the rides are very well maintained and super fun. We rented one of the cabanas. You get a welcome platter with fruit and cookies. The fridge had lots of bottles with water and you get a special food service.

Tamara Shaffer

We really enjoyed ourselves here and had a great time!! So much to do for the whole family!! I couldn't get the Tapu Tapu pay to work unfortunately that would have made it better.

Alexis Caballero

Amazing water park experience. A little crowded during some times of the summer but with smart Virtual Lines options the wait are bearable. Always a fun time

Tom Kelly

Amazing vibe. Rides are like none I have ever been on. Fearless river is my personal favourite!!

Dex Dawson

This is by far the best water park I’ve ever been to. They call it a Water Theme Park and anyone can see why. The rides are excellent, the food does not disappoint and the people working there seem like they all love what they do. It’s a great experience for the whole family!

Danny Ty

This place is amazing! I highly recommend you get a cabana or premium seating as this place is very busy and the sun can really get to you in Orlando. The virtual lines are honestly a godsend and make everything so much more enjoyable. We got a cabana and it was well worth the money. It was so great having a place to safety store our belongings and also a place to escape the heat and the sun. The rides are really fun and there is so much to do!

Geraldine Taylor

We had a blast over the weekend. Lots of water, fun, food & drinks

Zelda Bobbnigton

A very disappointing experience, it was very expensive to enter, and my family could barely walk around due to the amount of people there. We tried to get spaces to sit, but there was hardly any space and the seats had no shade whatsoever. We tried to get premium seating, however, it was six hundred dollars for one day! There was also seating for one hundred dollars for one day, however it was all sold out because there wasn’t a lot of them. When we finally found seats, a few of us went to have some fun on the rides, me included. We had to wait for over two hours for a two minute ride! Because of the virtual bands, you can go and have fun instead of waiting on queues, but you can only wait for one ride. Two hours became longer and longer, so we left with no rides. Very disappointed!

Jeff Thornburgh

Fun place, fun rides. Would have gotten 5 stars but food is ridiculous. It was 17 bucks for a hotdog, chips, and a drink. Come on Volcano Bay, I know they are a tourist attraction but seriously, you can do better than that. I will come here again and recommend it to everyone, just bring your own food.

Sara Jane

Gorgeous park. We had a great day here. What makes it a cut above other water parks is the bracelets that allow you to "digitally queue" so no long queues for attractions. Also, you dont have to haul inflatables up 6 flights of steps as they are motorised right up to the top for you to collect. Not to the mention the overall visuals. The volcano looks amazing! And the atmosphere is just lovely. We'll definitely go again on our next visit.

Sarah Elizabeth Hills

Rides are good, and first aid staff were quick to react when I had a nose bleed. The member of staff that was in the locker room was super helpful and very friendly to everyone all day! Only down side is that there isn't much shade unless you pay for a cabana.

Michelle Maldonado

Loved this place. I've never been too in love with water parks but this park will give you a bracelet that allows you to check in the attractions in a virtual line so when they are ready for you, the bracelet vibrates and let you know that you now can proceed to the attraction. In the meantime you can just relax on the on the beach pool and the other attractions that might not have such a big wait line. If you like roller coasters you need need to check out the water one. Lines and wait times for this one can go as far as a hundred and 50 minutes. But if you go to that one first and check into the ride you are able to do other stuff in between and just report to the ride as it is available. We grabbed ourselves two lounge chairs and placed a towel over them nobody messed with it and we had a place to come back safe for a little bit and pow wow. If you are in a tight budget, I recommend to pack some sandwiches or even hot dogs like we did. I also have some halos and bananas. Do not forget to pack a good sunscreen the prices there are little bit high for these items. Overall loved it and will highly recommend.

Went here with my family for the first time yesterday. Hands down the best water park I’ve ever been to BUT , they need to improve on some things. Let me just start off by saying the bigger lazy river is an absolute blast, I could be in it all day. There’s a bunch of currents along with huge waves they release that make it even more enjoyable. As far as the watches go, it’s a great idea and makes it so much more convenient that way you don’t have to wait in much of a line and can go do other things while you’re waiting while having your spot locked in. Although, one time when I had locked into a slide my watch all of a sudden said it was deactivated. I had asked an employee if she could fix it for me and she said that she didn’t have WiFi. Really? She still let me go on the slide which was nice then said to get a new one after. Whatever system it’s based on clearly needs to be improved because there’s nothing more annoying then having to walk around trying to find a station to get a new watch when you’re trying to keep it moving to get on as much rides as possible, it’s just a waste of time. Next, I went to try to get on the slides that you go down face first on the mat and can race with other people. I was really excited about it and as soon as I got on the scale the employee had said “unfortunately you can’t ride this” due to the weight limit. You have to be 150 or under. That’s not realistic considering a lot of people are above that and if that’s the case they need to have a sign that explains that so that way it saves people the humiliation and disappointment. Then, I had went on one of the blue slides coming from the Volcano, I don’t know what it’s called. All I know is it’s one of the ones you stand up in and are enclosed then the floor drops from underneath you. THIS WAS THE WORST RIDE I HAVE EVER BEEN ON. Not trying to sound dramatic but I had literally thought I was going to pass out/ die. The whole way up there I was so contemplating whether or not I had wanted to do it and I should’ve just stuck with my bad gut feeling. The biggest con about this slide is the whole time down there is streams of water coming from both sides that’s being splashed in your face leaving you barely being able to breathe. I was constantly gasping for air and trying to lift myself up to avoid all the water. Not only that but it goes super fast whipping you around curves and as soon as I got off I felt extremely lightheaded like I was going to pass out. In my opinion they need to remove all that extra water in the slide so people can actually breathe and not feel like they’re going to die. I’ve seen others say the same exact thing about these slides so I know I’m not the only one who feels this way. It’s a huge safety issue and people shouldn’t feel like they’re fighting for their life. I am still scarred from it. Also, I couldn’t believe when I heard they closed at 6 pm. That’s way too early in my opinion... especially for the weekends. They should atleast be open until 10. Overall, I do love the park, there’s a lot of rides and fun things to do. Like I had mentioned in the beginning they do have some things to work on but I will still definitely be back.

Theresa Schmitt

This place is huge and very well designed. Affordable day in Orlando too, food prices are very reasonable ($8-$15 for an entree).

Ricky B

This was the best water park my family and I have ever been to! I think our favorite part was the extreme river, we spent a lot of time there. We got the Cabana for the day and we loved it! Service was wonderful, and always there asking if we needed anything. We will definitely do it again soon!!!

Nick Mageloff

Best water theme park ever! One of the lazy rivers is like rapids.. The best most amazing fun! Lololol

Shane Hartle

This was an awesome place to chill and relax, we went in the wave pool, then relaxed on the river in inner tubes, very peaceful and relaxing

Jennifer Deetz

Lines were very long. The watches are great but you can only hold your place in one line so while your waiting on that your spending 30 min- an hour in another. The lazy river we where you just use life vest are excellent. All in all it's not something I think I'd go back to. It wasn't really what I expected and probably by half of the day could be done with because of such long waits in all the lines.

craig davies

I have not long got back from here. We visited whilst on a road trip from Niagara to Miami. Me and my friend had this on our radar since it was recommended to me, and i can honestly say it was one of the best things we did in Orlando. The park was brilliant, so many rides, queues were small due to the time of year, and we had a great day. To top it off we managed to do all rides twice sometimes 3 times before leaving. Would for sure go back if I visit again.

SANDRA PAREDES

Great experience! Excellent place to go! You get room for everybody there, games for children’s and adults. I just love it!

Natalie Justice

Too busy within the park; even using TapuTapu we had to queue 20 minutes for slides. The park felt a lot bigger than Disney equivalents and took a long time to get from slide to slide. The Fearless river is Brill though

Evelyn Cruz

So much to do and they close at 9, which is great!! Prices were a bit overboard especially when there’s a parking charge and you have to pay $16 if you want a locker to keep all your stuff along with towel rentals other than that well worth the money.

Jay Verzich

Fun time service could be better when you rent a cabana. For the price paid. But we had fun

Monica Torres

This park is AMAZING! So many rides to choose from, you'd never notice the crowd. Everything is very well taken care of. We only had a bad experience with a couple of waiters. Other than that, worth the money!

Scott Guminy

Great water park. The fast moving river is awesome. Taputapu was easy to use. No need to carry a wallet to pay for items. The park needs to display a few more maps to make it easier to get around. There was only one at the entrance. The food here was better than universal studios or islands of adventure

Jessica Colon

Firstly, I loved the idea of having a personal watch that you can use to check in to any ride you want and then come back when your time to ride is up. It also alerts you so you don’t miss it. Volcano Bay doesn’t have their own parking lot, you have to go to The Universal City Walk and use their bus to go to Volcano Bay. We stayed at drury inn but we didn’t take their shuttle. We drove to the parking garage at the universal city walk with our own car so that we could arrive at 8am and we were one of the first ones there, front row parking! $25 for parking but lasts all day and you can re enter as many times as you want. When your done with water park, just take the bus back to City Walk parking garage and drive your car back to the hotel without waiting for another shuttle to go to your hotel. The water park itself was gorgeous!! So beautiful and well decorated. If your early, there is no lines to go into the water park and you can go and be the first ones to pick good seats to last all day. There are many water rides and most consists of rafts or some sort of inflatable so you can ride with somebody. A lot of walking so be prepared!! They have water jets on the pavement everywhere you go so your feet doesn’t burn with the heat and also cleans the sand of your feet. Restaurants/bars at all corners and if you set up your credit card with the watch, you can use the watch to pay for anything in the park without having to carry your wallet with you. All free to set up and the watch is free of course. We spent about $55 for a family of four so wasn’t too bad. They have lockers that you can rent, Small $9, Medium $12, Large $18. You can use the watch to pay as well if you have that set up. The wave pool was the main attraction that is in the middle which is very large so even with a lot of people, decent amount of room to swim around. The lazy river is long and you don’t need to be in a inflatable so you can swim with the strong current. It takes you through sprayers and a cool cave and such. We loved it. They have a huge section for smaller children which my 3 year old adored!! They have many small rides and sprayers and spouts and very cute things for kids. Overall, we all enjoyed ourselves! The park was gorgeous and we never had to wait more than 15 min on the actual ride itself. The only very minor complaint would be that the watch doesn’t have the actual time on it ... I mean, putting the actual time would be helpful so that we know what time it is so we can plan our day accordingly. Most of us don’t Like to carry our phones around a water park / sand .

Carlos Lang

The park was great but when you guys a souvenir cups they time your drinks... that was dumb, even for water. You should not be limiting people on drinks especially after spending $18 on a souvenir cup. Besides that the park is a lot of fun.

Ashley Gann

The admission process is very flawed. We bought tickets online and got vouchers, when we got there we went to the ticket counter to collect our tickets. We were told that the vouchers on our phones were the tickets and to go to the entrance gates to collect the watch things. Then we were told that they were not tickets and we had to go stand back in the ticket line to get them. I told a lady worker who told us to wait in line at the ticket counter. She then told us she was going to try and get us a skip the line for one ride and to move to the guest services line to get our tickets and the skip the line pass. By the time we were done there we could have already been through the original ticket line for the second time and in the park having fun. But after waiting all that time we still did not have the skip the line pass and were told to go back to guest services inside to collect it. After getting inside I was trying to set up the app with our tickets so we could buy things. I assumed the tickets would scan in under the correct names since they had our names on them already. Apparently I was wrong and set them all up under my name. Anyway we rented a locker then went back to guest services to collect our skip the line pass. After waiting for about another 30 min. we were told I messed up the watches and the watches needed to be replaced. This whole process took about an hour and a half just trying to get in. On top of that we couldn't get in our locker after the watches were switched. I went back and complained but was told we were already given one free skip the line for our trouble. I was extremely upset at this point and felt like they should have done more to fix it. Once we finally got everything situated we had a decent time but not worth the hassle. Customer service should be a lot better for the money we pay to come here and spend inside. Even though the first girl tried to help it ended up making everything a lot worse.

βερονικα ζιεβα

Loved it! Definitely worth vising! Had so much fun and waiting system is sooo smart. You don't need to sit there in line and dry in the sun, One of the best of not the best water parks I've ever been to

jenny buchanan

If it's a rainy day, don't waste money on premium seating. We went for 2 days. The first day was sunny and hot, there where lines for everything. The second time we paid for premium seating and the express pass. Because of the rain there was plenty of seats and no need for the express pass.

Brayan Delgado

Hands down one of the best water parks I have ever been too. Staff are friendly and their is plenty to do. Best time to come is September-October to avoid the crowd and still enjoy plenty of warm weather

Chay Cumming

Excellent park, great selection of attractions for all ages and attitudes. Clean park, helpful staff. TapuTapu is a great idea!!

Samantha Kenzie Isabella Stuart

Love the Tapu bands, great mix of rides for everyone. Only downside is not enough maps. It's really easy to have no idea where to go and miss stuff. The sign posts aren't that helpful

Deran Dussan Rajakumaran

We really enjoyed it here. Very clever to have the bracelets (Tapu Tapu) so you don't have to stand there in line very long and also gives you a simple way to pay for things while walking around since you will be putting your stuffs in a locker, so very handy. Loved the rides and would definitely come back again.

Swerv Phillips

Had a great time. Fun for couples or entire family. Lots of slides and water coasters. Nice section for kids. Food was pretty good no more than whatbu can expect at a theme park. I will definitely be going back as soon as i can. Highly recommend 2 anyone who loves water parks

colin chin-aleong

Beautiful water park. Spent 2 days. 1st day was great . Did almost every ride. 2nd day half the rides broke down and the queue times hit 150min before 11am. So luck of the draw i think!

Eugenio Gonzalez Portales

Amazing water park, the best! Please bring you family here. To the folks and teams that created this water park, my special thanks! Great job designing and building this place!

SwiftWind GreyWind

Brilliant place. The TapuTapu is a great idea, hardly any waiting around. Lots of fun.

Timothy O'Bryan

We had a great time. Even with the typical summer storms they made sure to reopen the rides as soon as possible. The tube rides had near zero wait times. Will return tomorrow.

Ann Lang

Fabulous water park the best I've been to the whole family love it the wave pool is huge so much fun

carl mcnulty

Excellent water park. Loads to do. Great wave pool and slides for every age. Toilets are spotless and plentiful. Lots of restaurants selling tasty food and smaller carts selling snacks. Even a couple of undercover bars selling cocktails and beer. Been here twice in 6 days. Hope to go again before we leave.

Rebecca Griffin

Had a blast. Spent the majority of my day floating in the lazy river. My daughter rode a ton of rides. The food was pretty ok. Can't wait to go back.

Sonal Behr

Its a paradise for those who love water rides. Good time is after the sun sets but then you will have less time. Its too hot otherwise. Staff is courteous and helpful. More vegetarian options should be available. Costume is important to carry, sun lotions are available. Drinking Water is available. A must do!!

Jeffrey Preciado

Admission $75 on a Friday, towels are $6.00, a cabana cost $300 the food is pricey as expected, and it's disgusting. On another note the park is really beautiful worth checking out at least once plan ahead bring your own towels and food, coolers with wheels not allowed, but you can bring bag coolers. For a little bit more you can get an annual pass for Disney typhoon lagoon and blizzard beach. Just saying.

Irfan Ahmed

In my opinion this is the best waterpark by far. There is so much to do and the best thing is you can sign yourself up to a virtual line and go do whatever you want whilst you wait for your turn. A brilliant day out and a must place to visit.

Rocio Arduino

Awesome park. The best aquatic park in Florida. Don’t waste your money in the old Sea World Aquatica. Volcano worth it much more for sure. I recommend !

Graffi Afcha

We had a great time at Volcano Bay. The slides and rapids are a lot of fun. Also, the kids sections are awesome and their lifeguards are extremely kind. Big shoutout to a lifeguard called Annan, who was so kind playing with my 4 yo daughter that she cried when we left and said she was going to miss him.

Diana J.

We got a Cabana to the side of the volcano. Great views and so relaxing. Our wait staff was great. They worked hard to ensure that our food and drink needs were met despite the high demand from our group. The cabana was beautiful! Nice and clean with plenty of storage and a mini fridge. There was a tapu tapu machine for convenience! The only thing missing from the cabanas was a few more lounge chairs, but overall it was a great investment.

Christina Downey

Very nice place. I gave it four stars because I would have liked to wear water shoes the whole time. Mostly all of the rides you could not wear them.

Vaishnavi Soundar

Best decision ever! We went in winter and all the water was heated which was kind of super perfect! The rides didn’t have a long wait time and the wrist band system was kind of cool that we could use it to pay and wait for rides. It took us about half a day to do all the rides once and we did a couple of them twice as well. I did expect it to take longber but the timing was perfect and we even had enough time left over to hit the universal studios for some night light show!

Yrlenis Sanchez

OMG the best water park ever

Lauren Gibbons

Fun park! Nice, large wavepool, a slow lazy river and a faster one which we really enjoyed, and plenty of slides and rides. Good park for older kids and adults since there's more thrilling stuff. Highly recommend the tubes on the mountain where you drop straight down, tho be prepared to go up 200+ steps to get to em. Another thing, the concrete is crazy hot to walk on when barefoot, even with the occasional sprayers they have, and it's inconvenient to deal with flip flops when you're trying to do slides. Something to keep in mind.

Cassey Custer

Best Water Park our family has visited! Super Convenient, fun all day and the watches mean no waiting in lines! Highly recommend the Fearless River!

Rohit Gopi

My word. What an awesome place!!! Crazy good and just too much fun! Kids and adults enjoyed it from dawn to sunset. Simply spectacular!!!

LC Reed

This place is amazing! The Polynesian theme was on point and beautiful not to mention the amazing volcano in the center of the park at the wave pool. I love the wrist watch letting you know when you can get on your ride so you can avoid long wait time standing up. Quite honestly my daughter and I couldn't decide if we love it here or at Disney Typhoon Lagoon...one things for sure we will go every time we visit Florida.

Jenn Wiest

We loved Volcano Bay. Even though it was busy it had a really laid back vibe. Also our bartender Ally was awesome! Definitely plan on going back when we can spend more time. There was something yesterday which caused the entire park to shut down...but, all of the employees were super helpful and guest services took care of us!

Christen Heiden

Really huge and many great rides. One of the best water parks I have been to. I also loved that the lines were not long and the wristband concept.

B & F Technologies Mac & PC Repair

Let me say the place is super cool great rides but the staff is just unpleasant. Dont get me wrong not everyone is bad but the majority of them were just horrible. Other than that had fun but the times for the rides are astronomical but we did sign up for season passes so we will try again some other time.

Ben Burris

Every time we go to Volcano bay the kids have an absolute blast! General admission is great but if you’re going to stay all day it’s worth getting a cabana. Lots of perks with the cabana plus when the obligatory afternoon Florida thunderstorm shows up you have a place to wait it out and continue the fun afterwards. The cabanas book up early so be sure to plan ahead.

Jessie Wan

Is not what I expected. Kindly disappointed. They charge towels and lockers. It is really ridiculous to charge towel in a water resort. Rides are okay. I would prefer Discovery Cove.

Clistia Major

This was the best theme park experience I've ever had! I loved that there's a capacity limit, so the park wasn't over crowded. We purchased our tickets online the day before going. (I recommend purchasing tickets ahead of time before they sell out) also the tapu bands are amazing! Every park should have one!! We never had to wait in line more than 5 to 10 minutes. Fun place for the whole family!!!
