It's been around 20 years since my last visit and I am very impressed. I'm not even a Harry Potter fan and I was very impressed with the Harry Potter land. The detail is crazy. The castle is great looking. The train is cool. Employees were also friendly and engaging. Also, the entire Simpson area is great. I'm a huge fan.

TheMagicBeam Gosling

Amazing. Loads of rides, went 3 times it was so good. We would definitely go back there! Went to eat at City Walk which is a bit outside of the park but you can leave and return.

Evgeny Rozhak

An unforgettable venue for families, emotions go wild after these parks. A million happy faces, dozens of cool rides and delicious food. In this place you can always relax completely. We recommend everyone, it’s always super to come before Christmas - beautiful shows are held on the street, this is magic.

Maurice Herbert

Amazing place, so much to see and do. Have been on loads of rides, all of which have been amazing. Had lunch at the Leaky Cauldron in Harry Potter world..... lovely food, highly recommend a visit.

Jerome Fischetti

Universal Studios was amazing.. action-packed and full of excitement. Although, we were not happy about the change of the meal plan, everything else was great

Tom and Nancy Weeks

Halloween Horror Nights are excellent! My tip is spend the extra money for the express pass. Even though it seems steep, you are able to do all of the houses, scare zones, and attractions in one night with just a little wait. In previous years we have waited in lines for up to an hour for some of the houses...

Ani Coleman

Wonderful place! If you can, purchase the fast pass or use the virtual line option if available. Download the Universal official app as it helps with alerts, virtual passes, ticket purchases etc. The lines are long and the wait times vary from ride to ride, so you would have to make accommodations for your small children or elderly. Also, I would recommend you purchase the Universal official cup because refills in the cup are free. Otherwise, you will be paying for overpriced drinks. Also, some rides offer lockers for items to be stored while you are on the ride. The lockers are safe and recommended if you have no one to hold your items while you go on the ride. Overall, my family had a wonderful time. My children are 10 and 15 which I think is age appropriate for this park. I saw many families brave it with very young children. Kudos to them! I wouldn't go to this park with very young children as their really is only one ride that is appropriate for them. There are other activities that young children can do there, but it is limited. I enjoyed the time spent here with my family and would do it again.

Austin 7900

This was so fun. I rode a lot of rides and I loved all of them. Just be prepared to wait in lines just like any other theme park. Defiantly had a great time tho.

RED RUMBO_OFFICIAL

Amazing area! The wait times for the best rides were timed from 5-12 minutes. The food was a bit oily, but that's completely fine. Looking for a thrilling Vacation? Visit Orlando, Florida!

Jennifer Hopkins

It is an amazing experience!! Love all the rides. Wizarding World is something everyone should experience. We have gone every year for the past 5 years and still find new things we never knew were there. The team members are all fantastic and make the experience the best ever every year!! I can't wait to go again!!

nafi tucker

I love going to Universal studios for family vacations! Universal has the best rollercoasters in the state of Florida in my opinion. Also the food is great! Can’t wait to visit again!

Ian Foose

A taste of Hollywood in Orlando is an understatement since I kept forgetting that I was in Florida a d not in southern California. I really like this park a d it definitely compares to Universal Hollywood, all it's missing is the escalators and the backlot tour. One tip I recommend is to eat at the city walk area and for rides the wait time is typically shorter than advertised.

Michelle Kimberling

The actual park was great. Will call for tickets left a whole lot to be desired. There was one person working for a huge line of people waiting which cut our park time down by an hour. It would also be great to know the actual closing time when purchasing a ticket. Online it said 10pm when we got to the park it said 9pm

David Bald

Only went on the one ride, Escape from Gringotts which was brilliant. It was torrential rain whilst we were there so we didn't stay long. We enjoyed it though. We've been before and loved all the small shows on around the parks.

Jessie Abbey

When i think theme park i think all rides. This has one or two SMALL ride such as indoor coasters with 3d effects. It is not just coaster where you get on and go to the next. Shops ate beautifully done. My son has gluten and nut allergies the the food places were very knowledgeable and aware.

Update: changed to 4 stars. Universal guest relations did try to help and ended up providing some assistance. The VIP tour was a great experience and Dave was excellent. I don’t approve of Loews hotel management but the other employees were helpful and helped improve the image. Original review: Bad customer service. They have no idea what customer retention is. Universal and Loews will not be receiving my money again. Very unwilling to help and they seem to go out of their way to not assist. Stay at an offsite hotel if possible. Better yet, visit Disney. Universal supervisor Coral is very unaccommodating, unapologetic, and unprofessional. My family will never return.

Bill Fischer

So we brought 3 kids under 6 to the park. This park is really geared to older teens so I was very concerned. However, we brought them to Curious George Goes to town and they LOVED the play area. The best play area for kids under 6 I have ever seen. We spent two hours with them there while our adult kids went on the big rides. I had our 18 month grandchild. She LOVED the water, the soft balls, and even the small playground. I was really impressed how thoughtful the small area was designed. I know it is showing it’s age but still an amazing play area for really young kids.

Joanna Rand

I have to give Universal Halloween Horror Nights 2019 an extra star because, we got through all 10 houses on a regular price ticket with time to spare for rides and drinks. Also have to commend them on stepping up their security. I saw not one drunk person nor any fighting this year. Don't forget to have a butterbeer ... pricey but delicious!

Steven Gables

Just walking up to the gates, my teenager's hard exterior shell melted away as his face lit up with joy. We spent 2 and a half days enjoying the park and citywalk. We can't wait to go back!

Michael Jarvis

Great visit. Park was clean, people were friendly and helpful. This was our first visit but it won't be our last. Next time we'll do a multi day ticket. With all the rides and shows it really should take at least one full day per park.

Pamela Didier

Love this place - it was better than Magic Kingdom! We could have easily spent more days here exploring everything. We spent all day into evening and still skipped some attractions. It was definitely worth the extra $150 per ticket for the fast VIP passes. We got to see more with less wait time, which was good with only one day.

Ojjay

Got tickets for park and hotel bundle. And we still have to pay for parking at the park and parking at hotel per day. Be ready for price gouging! 1 stars because we still had to pay another 400 to go to the adventure park. Aside from the main park which was about 400. Why?! They didnt even tell us. They just charged our card. We found out when we got to the hotel later that day we were charged an Additional 400. Bad practice. I feel like my family was robbed. I will never return and will share my horrible experience with friends and family.

ItsBrandon4L TTv

Just got back from my first time trip to both parks and wow! 100! I am from Southern California grew up going to universal Hollywood and sorry but the Orlando location is way better (my opinion) but seriously it’s awesome! And the Harry Potter rides are worth the wait! Spider-Man ride is really cool also.

Paul Hayes

Excellent place to vacation. the staff a second to none and will do anything to assist you. (As a registered disabled customer) I truly value how much they want to help you. Amazing Rides, some of the best in the world as you may well already know, but the water rides are incredible... as an enthusiast seeing a rapids ride like bilgerat barges on “full soak” for lack of better words just makes me happy! Food offerings are varied and of a reasonable price for where you are, fast serve and sit down are available. Cant wait to visit again soon.

Tuesday I went to universal studios..I love universal studios .. it’s not my first time.. I have been there lot of times since I live in Miami is only 4 hour away for me.... When I got to the park I went to guest services as always, to get a guest service assistance pass for the express line..since I have physical disability and you guys always give it to me ..the young man in customer service didn’t want to help me ...so rude with me.. .. he offered me a wheel chair ..I told him that is not what I was asking you for... I explained to him I have been to the park so many times and every time I get help from customer service with no problem ... but not this time... I have disability... that’s why I need guest assistance pass for the line.... that’s too much too ask ... too hard to help... universal studios is not the only one that helps with the guest assistant pass for disability .... what a difference next day I went to magic kingdom Disney... and I got guest assistance service help...with no problem... no rudeness... no hesitation...

cliff rausch

Took a movie prop trailer in. The guards were overly polite and helpful. If I ever have an issue at a place I hope they start acting like these guards. They were awesome. Funny and made you feel at ease.

Wonderful park! Wonderful guest service! We got stuck on Men in Black (our favorite ride of the trip) Us, along with another lady spoke with a manager there named Kelsey. She was amazing! She handled an extremely crazy lady with empathy and professionalism even when this lady was screaming in her face. She talked with us after and was so enthusiastic and passionate that we couldn't help but leave smiling. Thank you! We will definitely be back!

Tiffany Coleman

This was a fun day! Racing thru NY with Jimmy Fallon was a great 4D coaster. and I got on The Revenge of the Mummy, thinking it was 4D coaster and IT WAS NOT! But it was fun. There are so many shops and places to see in this park... one day isn't enough.

crystal smith

What an awesome place with great staff! Awesome rides good food and loved the random singing and dancing in the New York part. Universal has it going on. More fun than Disney world. Fast passes is a must and well worth it. We will be back! Thanks universal new family tradition!

Jack Tamagni

Universal has been and will always be amazing to me. Technically we are still in our Summer season here in Orlando so both parks naturally are a bit busier than normal. Overall though they are kept clean and the team members are friendly and accommodating. I give it 5 stars as always.

Morgan Robichaud

One of my favorite theme parks. Plus it has Harry Potter world which makes it all the more magical. I recommend getting tickets that allow you to visit both parks so that you can utilize the train. Even if you dont like Harry Potter, it will allow you to travel to the other park more quickly and then you wont have to walk all the way out of the park and back in the other.

Pauly Wogy

Great fun! There are a few rides for little kids and many for big kids. Good water rides. Quite a few 3D theatre type rides. Prices are a bit high.

Susan Halpin

1st time ever there last November--loved Harry Potter world. Can't wait to go back & experience all the new attractions that were being built during our visit there.

Nathan Dilling

Halloween Horror Night was awesome! Was able to hit 8 of the 10 houses. Really liked Yeti, Blood Pit was my favorite, and US.

Brett Bodenweiser

We didn't get a map of the place so I think we missed out on a lot of things. Definitely save your money to go. The fast pass was worth it for some rides. Some rides only had 10 minute wait time. My parents are a bit older so couldn't do most of the motion rides and definitely don't go if you have recently had a surgery of any kind.

Leanna Palacio

I'm not a coaster child, so was nervous about how many rides I'd actually be able to enjoy. Was very pleasantly surprised that I was able to get on almost everything and have a blast. There were all sorts of fun little events throughout the day, while you have to pick what's worth theme park pricing the snack options were delicious, and between the two parks there were more than enough indoor rides to make it worth walking around in the rain. I absolutely can't wait to go back one day.

Kiley Sharp

Universal is our favorite! Halloween Horror Nights!!!! It's the best. Much better than that mouse park in our opinion. Good food, great rides and such a great overall experience!

Kory Davan

The rollercoasters are much more intense than Disney. Harry Potter World is very fun for people who enjoy the movies. The Express Pass was well worth the extra cost, very little wait time.

Akshay Mutha

One of the best theme parks to visit when in Florida. Every single ride there is worth experiencing. The indoor rides are better than outdoor ones like the roller coasters when sun is shining bright. Make sure to go early in the morning like around 10am so that you can cover all the rides till evening. The cues are longer on weekends, I would suggest going on weekdays there so that you won’t need to wait for long time. Overall the experience was very good and enjoyable!

Steven Wood

A brilliant two day park, so much to fit in and ride and they have some of the best 4d rides out there. Transformers and Minion Mayhem are two that stand out. Lots of places to eat and drink and the staff are all super friendly, if busy would recommend fast pass for extra cost as queues are crazy in June when we stayed.

Ashley Lapierre

Universal studios was amazing! I'm not a thrill rider and I don't really do roller coasters, but I absolutely loved all the 3D and 4D virtual reality rides! Plus, as a Harry Potter fan it was absolutely stunning seeing the wizarding world of Harry Potter brought to life! An amazing job!

Cortny Marshall

Worth every cent! Our family had a great time to say the very least. One day at Universal and day 2 at Islands of Adventure. Perfect combo!

Amy Hyman

The Harry Potter areas are amazing, it's like stepping into the book!! Well worth it right there. However I feel like there should be more rides for the price you pay to get in.

Sharon Williams

What can I say! One of my favorite places! I took my family, it was 15 of us and we had a great time! I will change the month when we go again. The have Halloween nights that start around the second week of September and the park closes at 5 p.m., and reopen at 6 p.m. for the Halloween Hunt (not sure if that the right name) and that is a whole different price. I don't mind the ticket price, but if I'm going to paid full price I want my whole day in the park.

CJ Hartley

The misses and I purchased UOAP today. We explored the park and had a blast. The lines we fast and refreshing with the A/C. The employees were the best and catered to our needs and very welcoming. The park let out the mist sprayers that helped cool us down. The passes let us go Express at 4pm on the dot. Character were out and made our day. They were very nice and welcoming as well.

Marisa

Rides are fun. Lots of the rides are 3D which is very unique. They really make you feel like you're apart of the Transformers and Men In Black!!! This amusement park does have more attractions than the Hollywood location! The prices of food and drinks are very high. There are lots of different restaurants and gift shops.

Shon Sprewell

We went for the Halloween horror nights. It was my husband's first time and one of many for myself. We had a BLAST!!! If u love scary clean fun, this is the place for u. The haunted houses were amazing. We went in stranger things and us. If you've watched the movie or the series u will be blown away at how realistic. Cant give away the fun, but do go. Worth every penny

Rob Carpenter

We did the RIP tour for Halloween Horror Nights. Joshua was an amazing guide. I would definitely do the tour again!

Claire Wilkins

This is the second time we’ve been here and massively enjoyed it when we came 3 years ago. We’ve spent two days there and have managed to get most of it done. I’m not great on the 3D virtual rides and felt sick coming off of a couple of them! We went from park to park easily on the hogwarts express a couple of times. We had just the best time!!!!

One of the best theme parks in the world. Their park Islands of Adventure has been nominated #1 by Trip Advisor for more than 3 years in a row. Lots to do, great food options in City Walk. Thrilling rides. Not too many sit-down shows, though. 90% of rides require heights of 36 inches or taller. Do research before coming so you know what you want to do for the day.

David Stone

This is an amazing theme park. I cannot even begin to imagine the money and time that was put into creating the amazing environmental and atmosphere that universal creates. My favorite area is Hogwarts. The Harry Potter rides and areas are amazing and were built with such attention to detail. Keep in mind, this is a theme park. A good one at that. That being said, the wait times for rides and attractions are ridiculously long. You could easily wait 2-3 hours to ride a 2 minute ride. Spend the extra money and get fast passes. Your experience will be much better for it.

There’s no way that this place isn’t rated 5 stars across the board. There’s something for everyone! Big kids (adults) have just as much fun as the kids! And the rides are amazing! Go to the island if adventure for thrill rides or stay at universal for more of the virtual reality rides. My family and I had so much fun! It was worth every penny.

Scott Brandi

5 years plus we have been season pass holders and always find something new...perfect for a weekend family get away...we live in the fort Myers area and try to make it once a month. Staying on site makes things so much easier with on site transportation to an from the parks every 15 min. Great for coming and going for lunch or a quick change of clothes.

DeAnne Shellenbarger

Not so Horror, expectations were definitely not met. After reading the hype online about how scary this event is it fell very short on frights. I applaud the effort but the haunted houses seem to be the same ideas just different themes and they rush you through so you pretty much know what's going to happen before it does.

Ronnie Davis

First time here and loved it. If you like 3d and 4d rides, it's a must try. Didn't get to go to Island of Adventure, didn't realize that was separate pass. But we will come back for the whole experience. Fast and Furious ride is awesome, Jimmy Fallon ride is awesome. Transformers ride is awesome. All rides were great. ET, a little old school but is pretty long. $25 parking but they have the souvenir cups you can buy and get free refills all day. Great experience. Bring ponchos as well. It's going to rain!!

Alex Jiao

The rides and entertainment here are great, and the food prices were surprisingly reasonable. If you're a thrill seeking roller coaster enthusiast then this might not be the place for you, but the rides themselves are still fun. I enjoyed the Rocket, Race through New York, and the Gringotts rides.

Scott Vaughn

It was the first time I have gone in the fall and it was great. Temperature was 84 and light breeze. Jimmy Fallon ride is new and very much fun. However... Seems Universal is getting more expensive than Disney.. this is hard to justify in my opinion... but still a great time all in all.

Mandy Kestner

Does anyone else realize that the universal parks cost almost as much as a day in Disney? And one of these things is not like the other. We finished the Universal parks in about 4 hours each and were both sorely disappointed in the new rides. Everyone else was as confused as we were when we got off of the fast and furious ride. Like...wait?! That was literally the worst ride I’ve ever spent time waiting on. If there was no wait I’d never ride it again. I stole that last comment from a fellow rider. Yikes. I’ve been going to these parks since I was a child. The last time we visited Universal was amazing and we were so impressed but there needs to be major improvements to make me go back. Making the Harry Potter stuff amazing isn’t enough for the price of the ticket. Especially when some attractions were closed.

Cheryl Mauger

I was impressed with the Harry Potter theme and the Transformer one too. It was awesome. The Harry Potter ride was a great experience. Loved it! I would definitely do it all again.

Kera Roake

One word: Stale. I'm surprised there's so many 5 star reviews. Unfriendly staff and outdated park. Just felt like a concrete box with decorations, not really made for the amount of people they want to have in the parks. I came 13 years ago with my family, remembered it as decent, and brought my husband for his first time yesterday. If not for the minimal effort put into the Harry Potter section I doubt it would survive. We spent 2 hours there, rode 3 rides, and were so bored. Very sad we wasted the money on it, will probably never go back or recommend. The attractions were outdated, even the shops and bathrooms were disappointing quality. $60 for a HP sweatshirt next to trophies that say #1 dad, as if that has anything to do with the park? Can't even have mirrors in the bathrooms like literally every other public restroom? More of a tourist trap than meant for true fun and enjoyment. It's the little things that make a park magical, and for the price this park just didn't have it.

Raqhelle Millbrooks

We visited Orlando for a few days and only got to attend universal for an entire day - I wish had more time. The express pass was definitely WORTH IT especially in the dead summer heat. Each ride is fun but the 4D rides can get sickening or old after a while. Both parts of the park were fun and the food offerings were good. The food was minimum $10 depending on the location, but the lines were long no matter what. Bring snacks and water into the park to stay hydrated. Each ride has souvenir shops connected to them when you exit the ride. Staff were friendly and fun and Universal is for everyone who loves roller coasters, marvel, Harry Potter and Disney. The new Harry Potter ride did not have express pass privileges and a 3 hour wait so we didn’t get on it at the time. If you are staying for longer the express pass may not be needed, but each line can be up to 1.5 hours long of a wait or even longer whereas the express pass can take a max of 15 minutes to get on. Had a blast and hope to go back one day!

Nadia Q

Awesome!!! Love it and can't wait to go back. The rides were spectacular. The simulated rides felt so real like you were in the movie. I got the 'wow factor' I was looking for, the scenery looked amazing. We needed more then 1 day to enjoy the 2 parks. Hats off to whoever designed that place. Forget Disney... I'm all for Universal now

Brandon Taylor

Perfect. We love everything about this place. Go now! Stay onsite for the unlimited fast pass! The food plan is not like Disney so do not go in to it expecting the same. A "reservation" is just a prepaid meal, not a reservation for a set time. Other than that surprise, we had a great time! Such a great place for older kids and teens (and awesome adults too)

Gh02t __

Universal was a lot more better than Disney land we thought. The rides were amazing even our son on 5 years old enjoyed the park more. We bought a refillable character drink which we shared. Can’t wait to go back the staff were welcoming as we entered, all wishing us a great time.

sugarplumsue

Love, love, love this park. I wish US Cali would pick up the pace and give us west coasters the same amazing HP attractions etc. Good times!

Scott Esselman

Very nice to visit. Needs more attractions and less shops. All in all worth the money. Harry Potter is great. Toothsome Chocolate Emporium well worth the time

Shawn L.

Halloween Horror Nights is awesome! Extremely well done horses ants scare zones. Would not recommend bringing young children, as some stuff can be rather intense. Cool drinks for those over 21 as well.

Adrian Joyce

So much fun! The rides and theme are great. Many of our favorites are there. The food and drinks were great. We never had a bad meal or snack. Harry Potter world is awesome. There are also so oldies but goodies. The kids area was so much fun with the foam ball room. The staff is helpful and kind. Much better than a coaster park.

Absolutely the most amazing and incredibly awesome place to visit! So much to do, so many rides, all with the theme of a movie, show, book, fairytale, you name it! It's such a super experience and will keep you excited and absolutely astounded the entire time. I can't think of any better place to take the family for the best time ever!

ryan

The park has a few great rides, but many are lackluster in terms of how much excitement they pack in them for how long you may have to wait. As for the park design and immersion: Superb! If you enjoy a good story more then a good thrill then this is definitely the place for you.

tunde ogunleye

Loads of fun days wit the kids. Please get in early and be prepared to buy express tickets to reduce waiting times to various activities. Transformer rides brought 3D out closely. Loved it

Megan Reid

I loved it so much. I just wish I didn't get motion sick. That is definitely not their fault, though. Harry Potter world was amazing.

John Eichenberger

Universal Studios is essentially no longer ECV friendly, making them a place I will never revisit. We own scooters that used to make the park a place we could enjoy. But some new policy requires that we use manual wheelchairs instead of our easy to use scooters on every ride, every show even. I have such missed expectations. One star would be fitting, but I don't want to sound like someone whose opinion should be dismissed.

Khym Turner

The best greatest time I ever with my mom she's 81 ... We went on all the virtual rides and shopped at Harry Potter's village ate in Jurassic world and stayed at a nearby hotel and every morning after we walked our dog we ate breakfast then boarded the water taxi to Universal !!! If you book in advance you avoid the lines! Wheelchair rentals and every ride is wheelchair accessible. There are Street shows and vendors... I even won Santa's Little Helper ! Toy. I can't wait to return.

Zackd41pro

Easy to have a good time just budget your time well. Get the app to watch times for lines. And REMEMBER you can get many things at multiple spots one place is slow move to another area nearby for the same item

Rebecca H

This park is stunning to look at. The streets/walkways are lined with neat buildings and cool memorabilia. It really is picturesque. What I don't like are the Express passes. It's maddening to see people buying their way out of standing in line. You can be held at the front of a ride for several turns if fast pass people are approaching. My kids were very upset that they kept getting bumped from getting on the rides because Express Pass holders kept coming in. Universal Studios should take some pointers from Disney and give everyone a number of free fast/express passes. I'm sure they don't like the idea of losing out on the money, but it will make for happier park goers. While I had the option myself to purchase Universal's Express pass, and could have, I am against the concept and will not support it. I wish everyone would ban together and refuse to buy them so they might be done away with. It really was the biggest negative for me on the park and will be a deciding factor on my park choices in the future.

Hassan Cheaito

Awesome experience for kids and adults. You need at least 3 days to cover 2 parks, 5 days is a better choice. Their guest services were extremely professional and helpful. The rides are fun and thrilling. All the family had fun and found the right levels of rides.

Jahsosha Smith

We absolutely enjoyed every minute of this park. From the indoor rollercoasters to the interactive attractions. Service was impeccable and felt it was well worth the money. Love their system, not long wait times for rides and they have so much for people of all ages. We would gladly spend the money again. Great job Universal!

Shireen Williamson

Visited 18years ago and returned again with my family. Was an amazing adventure during my first visit and it did not disappoint this time round! Rides are more advanced with most of them created around a 4d adventure theme. Harry potter land and rides are really well thought out with the interactive a activities across the park. Had the best time here with my young daughter who lives for thrilling rides!

Rosalin O'Rear

The health career people are excellent and compassionate. All The staff I met were very kind. You need a map and an app to get around. Vallet parking was very helpful with putting my scooter together and breaking it down when I left. Some rides need to be adjusted for larger patrons. Overall it was a great experience.

kyle connors

I went here for my 29th birthday with my wife. We had a great time. We bought a three day park pass. First day scoped the park out and check out a couple of attractions mainly the bars. Second day we bought a flash pass or a skip the line pass. We already had the park scopes out so we literally went from attraction to attraction ride to ride. It was a fun exciting day. We did almost everything. We mainly chose universal studios because of the Harry Potter attractions. But I was also looking forward to the jaws ride I went on when I was a kid. It’s not there anymore. Bummer but the E.T. Ride is. It was a great birthday. We will be coming back here for sure.

Suzi G

My amazing son took me there because of Harry Potter saga. We both love it and he wanted to make happy memories for us before he went back in service. He is in the military serving our Great Country.

CHU !

Hadn't been in nearly 20 years. Bummed out they got rid of the Terminator, Twister, and back to the future rides. The new ones are a bad copy of them. Loved the rock and roll roller coaster and the mummy. Definitely going back!!

Willie Simmons

I love Universal Studios the simulation rides in 3D are amazing. If you get a chance to go, go see the Transformers in 3D it will blow your mind. You could be 8 or 58 you will feel like a big kid again I really enjoyed it.

David Rushton

Great park. Disabled friendly as my 2 friends are blind. Though the only let down is their ID policy. After being advised by the UK and EU government not to take past ports they refused to accept paper copies of passports. Other places accept them but not Universal.

Teddy Micklos

We loved it for the first few days. Then our teenager quickly reverted to being a teenager and it was like trying to make the park seem fun to a rock with a cell phone. If I had to do it over I would choose 3 days max instead of 5. We were trying to plan for the fussiness of a 1 year old by the extension of days.

Anthony Platania

Not as busy as Disney, better food and drink selections, fun rides. The boardwalk is awesome. Fast passes are great for the weekends, not usually necessary if you go in the middle of the week.

Shirly Niego

Amazing park! Thrilling rides, with epic movie characters. The park is beautifully designed, and has tons of attractions and cool things to do.

k9m42

Universal is our new favorite theme park vacation. We just can't handle the crowds of Disney, they're terrible fastpass system, the 10 million strollers. Additionally all the rides are much more mature at universal.

Caleb Saylor-Hicks

My wife and I were not impressed by the halloween themed park after hours. We had very high expectations for universal, considering there influence and impact on the movie scene. The lines were extremely long and the haunted houses weren't as impressive as what we have seen previously from Cedar Point. I think you guys should be blowing Cedar Point away with the scary and spooky stuff but you're not.

Teresa Mendoza

Not bad. I mean the artwork they put in the design of the sets is amazing! Beyond amazing! but the rides take forever to get in, they go really fast. The place is very cool, but after waiting a long time you really get tired of it. The place is crowded, humid, and hot, with the exception of when you get on a shop, a ride or restaurant. Then is only crowded, but you can only sit at the restaurants to take a break. I wasn't able to get water out of their machines with my water bottle and people kept telling me I needed to get their official plastic cup. It is water, and that is a hot place where I invested to get in, I know is a business, but save me the heat stroke and dehydration. It is water, basic need, just like bathrooms. Also, save the planet some plastic. Maybe there is a place to refill water, but I couldn't find it. I went to check out the animation implementation, which that part for sure didn't disappointed me. That was nice, but again it takes a long time to get into anything.

Max Blau

All our childrens loved this park. Two or even three days can be spent easily. Each one can find his own way to enjoy. Harry Potter area simply outstanding!

Vittorio Mazzia

If you have only one day and you are not a toddler I strongly suggest Island's of Adventure. Also Harry Potter word is far more extended than than the Universal one. If have never visited one of the two parks it's unfeasible to visit both parks in the same day. Waiting time drastically reduce your available time. Finally, keep in mind that single ride is a perfect way to halved if not dramatically reduce wait time. Most of the rides have no sense to be shared with your group/family/partner and most of all queues are still done together.

Jessica Flagg

The best thing about this place is the rides. Their whole system is terrible and no one knows what they are doing. The workers for Hagrid's ride cannot keep their story straight on why they can't let you in. One person said technical while another said they were at capacity all in a matter of five minutes. A person in charge told us, while they were letting people in, that the ride would not be operational for a while. Why they were letting people in makes no sense to me. One side opens at 9 am while the other side of the park opens at 8 am which makes no sense as well. The BS is not worth riding any of the rides. Disney has a much better system and better rides and entertainment at that. We will not be coming here again. Stay with Disney everyone!!

Tanner Smith

The review is exclusively about the grilled street corn available as a food option at Halloween Horror Nights 2019. It's the best food item I've ever had a Universal and it's only $5. The flavors are great and it's a little messy but so good and I can't recommend it enough. 1 million stars.

Martha Mathieson

I used to come to Universal once a year in my youth when it was $45 per person. Although I really enjoyed coming to Universal I have lost my taste for yearly visits with a family of 5 - tickets for just 4 (had to exclude my husband because could not afford) was $800 for park to park one day- speed passes I did not purchase because they were an additional $150+ per person - not including the $26 to park - because we only have time for once a year the year pass is not sensible especially with a family of 5 and a tight budget. I give 5 stars for a good time but 3 stars for unreasonable pricing especially for large families with tight budgets.

Dawn Woods

We did not want to leave. Just so much to do there at, and so much to see. It was so kind of like I was in another part of the world. It's amazing. What they have accomplished, to keep your eyes in your mind interested in moving at all times. And accelerating your heartbeat. Wonderful places to eat. Wheelchair, and disability access. Large parking lot. Could customer service. Very very very pleasant close.

Jeff Butikofer

Park had the room for the people that they admitted. Rides were awesome and the food choices were adequate. The lines were very long even with the fast pass but they were acceptable.

Rose

The VIP tour was a great way to see the park if you have limited time but if you are just wanting to get on rides faster, the express pass would be a much more suitable option. A few too many virtual reality rides. Really enjoyed the Mummy and Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit rides!

Melissa Lee

Islands of Adventure cannot be beat, I love their rides and it's always a pleasure to go each time. Sundays are probably the best weekend day to go. We didn't get a fast pass and most rides were 5-15 minutes long so that was a plus. I am glad people headed over to Harry Potter because that counted for the majority of the crowd so there were no big wait times for any of the other rides. We went when their White Water Rapids ride was closed so that was a bummer because I was ready when my poncho but it was "closed" for improvements so that was lame but the other rides were great. Universal Studios is also great but I prefer Islands of Adventure for their rides and USF is definitely one of the most favorite theme parks to go to!

Charisma Weilbacher

The 4D rides we're so much fun. Very fun. Very hard to get two parks accomplished in one day. However we waited over an hour to get on the fast and the furious ride just to be severely disappointed.

Adam Keyser

They have more motion simulator rides than actual roller coasters, but I was surprised by the realism of them. It took 3 full days to ride everything at the two parks. Definitely recommend the multi-park passes. My family loved it!

Sharon Mercier

First time being there. Beautiful. Huge and so much to do and see. Great and extremely fun place for families with or without children.

Michael Dawes

Great amusement park with something for every member of the family. Rides, shows, characters, meet and greets. If you can't have a fun time here, you are not going to have fun at any amusement park! Our family has enjoyed Universal much more than Disney, especially as my son has grown older. Can't wait to go back again.

Ashley Hutcherson

Had a blast! Wonderful experience and if you are a Harry Potter fan, I highly recommend experiencing the magic of Harry Potter World! The only critique I have is that everything is quite expensive, but otherwise it is a worthwhile vacation spot - for children and adults.

Tanzania Davis

Very, very, very expensive park. 1 day is $127 per person, per day. $300 for 3 days. $15 for 1 hot dog and 1 bag of chips. $14.99 for 1 slice of pizza & small side salad. $34.99 for a whole pizza. $4.69 for bottle soda, $3.99 for small fountain drink, $12.99 for the refillable cup. It needs more rides and attractions. Bored within 4.5 hrs. I got there after 1pm, they were closing the park 2 hrs early for some new Halloween attraction but I still had to pay full price.

Ashraf Obaid

Really enjoyed the park. My only issue was that most of the rides, not all, are VR rides. One or 2 very good but most were good and sometimes a tad disappointing. The big red coater with the vertical drop is awesome!

Logan Schatzberg

Universal provides some of the best thrill rides in Florida. The availability of City Walk with the constant addition of new rides allows all ages to enjoy their time. The lines do get lengthy during peak season, but Premier annual pass members can use express lines after 4PM. I highly recommend family's (of age 8+, in my opinion), couples, friends, or anyone seeking thrill rides to checkout Universal and Island's of Adventure.

Adam Rosser

Best time of the year to go for sure! Barely any waits anywhere, cheaper hotels/admission and the same experience. You can’t beat it! It was my girlfriends first universal visit and everything went wonderfully. Only complaints can be about food/drink cost but it’s a theme park....

Isaac Solis Ramirez

We arrived and the Rock It ride was temporarily closed. 10 minutes later it was opened. I was amazed how effectively the staff works to keep everything flowing. The staff is very polite and friendly. Good job!

Doug Hamilton

We had a blast at Universal Studios. We only had one day to spend, so we purchased the express pass, which almost doubled the regular admission cost. It was worth the cost because we’d have spent about the same for 2 days but were able to get on all of the rides in 1. That being said, it’s not a place I’d go more than once at that price.

Desy Gato

The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because it’s too expensive for what you get. The park is tiny compared to Disney Parks. I would say it may be smaller than Hollywood Studios. The rides are nice for children. The mummy ride was dope. I got here when it opened at 8am and was done with the park in an hour and a half. I rode everything once, little to no wait time. This was on a Wednesday. The fast & furious ride was the most disappointing thing I ever experienced.

Dee khilall

You can be a kid all over again. Third time visiting with my kids and they love it. The only ride we didnt ride was Harry Potter motorbike adventure due to the rain. Over all great experience.

Dan Myers

My family has been to quite a few amusement parks, some big some small and I’m always amazed when we go here. It’s always clean and the lines seem to move at a good pace. See you next year!

Caitlin Deutschle

One of the best theme parks in the world. Their park Islands of Adventure has been nominated #1 by Trip Advisor for more than 3 years in a row. Lots to do, great food options in City Walk. Thrilling rides. Not too many sit-down shows, though. 90% of rides require heights of 36 inches or taller. Do research before coming so you know what you want to do for the day.

Tammy Crider

Is always a Great place to take the family. There is something for everyone. The Universal Studios side has a lot of Virtual Reality rides. One very crazy fast Roller Coaster. With your choice of music playing while you ride. Lots of games and prizes for all ages.

julia sanchez

I love this place! Day or night entertainment! Get ready to walk lots and have fun on all the interactive rides! If you need can't walk there is wheelchair and scooter rentals. Worth the price!

Martina Boyle

You will have a great day here and you can by fast passes. The hulk is fantastic and the spiderman ride is great. Bring the kids on the Harry Potter Train they will enjoy it. Look forward to going back next year cannot wait !!!

Marissa Gideon

Excellent customer service from everyone in the parks! Awesome rides, great ambiance, decent prices on food and merchandise. We had a wonderful time!!!

Jose Joel Velez

Universal City Walk is awesome place to go if you just want to sight see, shop, eat and take pics. Lots to do, lots of spots for picture taking but yes like everything else there are large crowds so if you are not a crowd person I would not recommend it. Nights are nice it's not as hot and all the lights make for good pictures. Also the fire work show is awesome.

sofia sisinno

I love this park! There are many different attractions to ride and I think it is very fun for all ages. If you visit Orlando you have to go to these parks!

Omar Kurdi

My favorite park in the world. My experience here was nothing short of spectacular. The rides, the attractions, and the people were all out of this world. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is magical. It’s literally a world full of magic and wonders. I can’t wait to go back. You should def take the train between the parks there for a taste of Harry Potter too.

Lei Jin

Cant say more about the park. Had so much fun with my friends! I would recommend to buy a express pass if you can afford it. This time I spent around 15-25 mins for each attraction comparing to 1-1.5 hours for tourists without express pass. Made the trip much more pleasant! Five stars!

Jennifer Eaton

This park is great! It has more indoor attractions, so good park to pick on a mostly rainy day. The Mummy ride is a favorite! Jurassic Park is a good one too.

William Harrelson

I would recommend buying multiple day passes so you don't try to wear yourself out. It was a blessing to be able to spend half a day at a park and then back to the hotel for half by using the buses that connect together.

syed abdullah sohaib

Amazing place with breathtaking buildings based on different movies. Prepare according to the weather and be ready to wait for times like 20 minutes sometimes which can go up to about 40 to 120 depending on how busy it is. The single riders option is also available but you got the time way shorter for everybody but the catch is that they will separate you and you will have to sit differently. if that it's cool to you and you're going to love universal. Also there are hundreds of good spots where you can take some amazing pictures. Have fun !

Coalition Music Group

We had a wonderful time. The food and drinks are pricey so I would advise to bring snacks. You could spend an entire day in one location of the park. The new harry potter ride was awesome! My daughter (5 years old) loved the rides she could get on and for the rides that she wasnt able to get on, we got age vouchers so when she was tall enough, we could skip the line. Great experience!

Another Rebel

Spent two nights doing Halloween Horror Nights and we had a blast. I definitely recommend getting the express pass if you can handle the price. It cuts your wait time down to almost nothing.

Robyn Hurst

We love both of the Universal Parks, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, so much! The only complaint that I have, and the only reason I lowered one star, is that we do the quick-service Dining Plan... And I wish there was some better options for the snack category. We typically end up with so many snacks at the end, because we do the refills of icy drinks by charging up our special cups, at a cost, so it would be really nice if there was some kind of protein snack as well as all the carb-loaded things that are available now. At least there are some fruit options available. Don't hear me wrong with this feedback, we absolutely do enjoy some vacation food... But that's the thing. We do spend money on the vacation food as well, so it would be nice if we had the choice of something slightly healthier in the snack options as well. We basically ended up loading up on turnovers and cookies that we could pack in our luggage. Also, it would be great if there were a published flier or part of a brochure that actually listed where snacks can be found. We've basically ended up asking at every place that had some kind of small amount of food whether or not any of it counted as snacks

Christine Cain

VIP experience! We had Kendra! We had a buffet breakfast and lunch included. Express ride entrance. Valet included. Informative guide and backstage access!!! Excellent time, and we rode everything we wanted! 12 rides! If you only have one day, this is a good use of your time. The pace is not rushed and no way can you ride as many rides on your own.

Tim Gen

By far the best amusement park. If your a Harry Potter fan then you must check out areas that are dedicated to it. Express pass isn’t necessary if you get there early enough and keep an eye on the times through the universal app. I would recommended getting a park to park ticket so you can experience both parks and you get to ride the train. Definitely go Straight to the castle and ride that ride first before the line builds up.

Jocelyn Swart

Preferred Islands of Adventure over Universal. More actual rides at Islands of Adventure. Mainly Virtual Reality rides. Did not get Express pass and didn't wait more than 40 minutes for a ride. The was my first visit to the parks. The Hogwarts Express was really cool. Which you can only ride with the 2 park pass.

Wally Anglesea

It takes more than a day to cover this park. We took our time, and because we went on a not very busy day, waiting times for attractions were not.long, maximum about 20 minutes. The Harry Potter area was definitely the busiest, but you should go there, even if you are not a Potter fan.

Narkis Golbandi

Amazing place!!! First secured well, then a lot of restaurants and then entrance to the park. I've been in Halloween horror event. It was funny and scary at the same time. Enjoyed the rides also. Highly recommend to visit with friends and oldest kids.

Your Local Guide :

Universal studios was nice. However islands of adventure just seemed to be more up to date. The real thing going for it was Harry Potter. Universal studios itself was fun, but the attractions a years old. They need some updating. Went there when I was a kid, revisited and not a lot has changed. The restaurants at islands of adventure are superb. I’d check out the three broomsticks, boars head etc. other than that pretty enjoyable. Make sure to stop by voodoo doughnuts!

Wolf's Kiss

First time attending Halloween Horror Nights and it was LIT! The main houses (Halloween, Happy Death Day, Stranger Things, etc) could have been scarier but the drinks were bomb. I loved the idea with the LED skulls that interacted with the houses. It helped us find the houses quickly.

Jessica Marie Allen

There’s no way that this place isn’t rated 5 stars across the board. There’s something for everyone! Big kids (adults) have just as much fun as the kids! And the rides are amazing! Go to the island if adventure for thrill rides or stay at universal for more of the virtual reality rides. My family and I had so much fun! It was worth every penny.

Mike Welch

Great place to bring the family. Harry Potter comes alive and the butter beer is really good. Makes you feel like a kid again!

Brittany Harrison

This park is better than the other. It has more / better rides. Next time is probably just get a ticket to this one and skip the other. Transformers ride was my favorite. The food options were beyond slammed. Waited in line 45 minutes at a quick serve restaurant before giving up and grabbing a pretzel at a cart. Need more food options.

Penny Frost

Love. I go every year. Splurge and get fast pass. . constant rides all day. Food pretty much sux but rides make up for it.

Steve Kiray

Having not visited Studios in quite a number of years, I was shocked at how many things have changed..for the better! The park is clean, crowds were not overwhelming and some of the new attractions were awesome as well. All in all, a great day spent there and we'll be back. Glad they kept ET..brought back memories of when our daughter was so much younger. Jimmy Kimmel 4D coaster is awesome. Nostalgia wise, do miss Jaws, Earthquake and Kong. Guess I'm "dating" myself now!

Bonnie Puff

What a great place to take the family. So many people were dressed in Hogwarts outfits. I only visited one part of the park. Will diffidently be going back.

Josie Guerra

There are several restaurant options in the park and right outside in the City Walk area. Islands of Adventure has very few things for children under 3. Universal Studios has a little bit more for children under 3 such as a water park area, Curious George ball factory, Barney show, and Barney's playground. However they close Barney's indoor playground early at 5p.m. Be prepared it rains almost everyday between 4 and 6p.m. and they close down all the rides and Curious George ball factory even though it is indoors. The rides for adults and children tall enough to ride everything are alright but the most popular rides have very long lines. Take advantage of the rides with virtual lines and child swap options in case you have young children that can't ride. It saves you from having to wait in line again if your partner already waited in line. But you do have to notify the ride attendant if you are doing the child swap ahead of time. You can ask at the front of the line whether or not the ride has those options or you can check the Universal Studios app which is recommended for you to download. Also the app gives you approximate wait times for the rides but we found they are not always accurate. Also I recommend the refillable souvenir cup because it comes in very handing for water as well and saves you money. However you must know they do charge an activation fee on the cup if you use it the following day. But that is still cheaper than the other options. The park does allow you to take in your own bottle water but no coolers are allowed.

Makayla Littlejohn

I go to Universal Studios every summer and I love it. Universal Studios has rides for all ages and that is what I love about this places the workers are wonderful they have great costumer service. I just love it there.

Paige Buck

The rides here are extremely unique. They've done the park up for Halloween and everything looks like a blast. The holiday specific souvenirs will tempt even the most frugal person.

Jessica Manning

We arrived at the park around 11 and by 1 pm it had started raining. After eating indoors, attempting to wait out the rain, we decided to go into the dinosaur museum/play building. Inside there were people everywhere, to be expected. My 3 year old son was playing on some of the fossil finding displays, all the while he was shirtless because he had gotten soaked in the rain. After about 30 minutes an employee told me we would need to leave if my 3 year old didn’t put his shirt on. Has anyone attempted to put a cold wet shirt on a 3 year old? Not easy. Needless to say we didn’t and we left very angry and upset. I’m disappointed that of all the hazards in that moment, slippery floors, people sitting everywhere, people eating and drinking wherever, that my son was the hazard. Lastly, all the employee needed to do was kindly explain to me why my son in that moment needed a shirt I may have understood. Needless to say, the park was overrated. I will not ever return

mike towns

Five star fun, but 3 star prices ($1700 USD for 5 of us for one day), hence the 4 star average. $150 hamburger meal for 5 at the Hard Rock Cafe on-site. Bottled water expensive. Fairly clean (not Disney clean, but close). Great fun, but be prepared to pay for it!

yugine lama

Such a nice place to be. Four star for the longest lines had to wait for every single ride. Express tickets were expensive to buy for just 4 hrs as universal would close at 5.

Wilson Gomez

Great place to have fun and bring the kids along, I recommend this trip with kids after 5 years old, not less, if you bring 'em with less that 5, either of the two won't enjoy the park to the fullest. Also, during October near the Halloween, the parks shifts the decoration to Halloween, this is a really nice view to see. Definitely, very nice experience for the whole family.

Luiz Fernando Keller

I had fun, but come on... doesn't worth half the price they charge you. Lots of old attractions. They need to renew ASAP. Only Harry Potter things are trully amazing.

Carl Newton

This still a great place for families. I enjoy the Studio sod of the park. I have not experienced the water park yet. I love the addition of the transformers

Moshe Acoca

Best park in the world by far I had a great time with my family. What I really liked about the park is how professional universal is at everything. Also the wait times are long but there is always animation going on on the side.

Justin Burgess

Always a good time, and geared more towards adults and post-Disney aged adolescents, UO offers the chance to "ride the movies" and has committed to regular updates. A good mix of thrill rides and family friendly, it's a chance to enter highly detailed and immersive worlds. Add on the dining, nightlife and hotel options on premises and you have all the trappings of a fun vacation that everyone in the family can enjoy.

Dean Gouldsbury

First time in Universal and myself and my girlfriend loved every minute of it. The only problem we came across is that all 3 parks lack any decent variety of vegetarian options. It took us a while to find food but what we found we liked but something other than pasta, burgers and pizza would be nice

David Lawrence

Wow, we went there last year. Clean bathrooms.

I guess as you get older, theme parks seem smaller than they used to be. Get the 2 park pass to make your visit worth your time because just doing the original universal studios is kind of boring in comparison to the competition. You can get lost in a Disney park, universal needs to get on that level.

Anthony Tang

Ok place very good staff and friendly people My only problem is that there is not enough rides and it’s food is kind of expensive. Also, not all the rides are that good. There are only a small amount of rides and there are pretty much only roller coasters so if you don’t like roller coasters like me, you’re in bad luck. Lastly, the Harry Potter tide was the best although I don’t like roller coasters

Constance Felton

Decided to peep Halloween Horror Nights. Loved the atmosphere! Just spooky enough to get the blood pumping.

Darlene Wozniak

Great fun but truthfully everything is so over priced. If you're eating there plan on spending 100.00 per person on simple foods like a slice of pizza. The bathrooms were kept clean and the people were helpful which I am grateful for.

Cija Williams

Awesome park! Rides were amazing. The one downfall is the park hours. 6pm is way too early to for a theme park to close especially one where tickets are well over $100 a person.

Gypsy Rivera

What an awesome experience!!! Rides were exciting and 3d shows super fun! Lines weren't long and staff was very outgoing and pleasant.

Dan Parker

Can't remember the last time I visited this section of the park, but there just wasn't a lot that interested us aside from Diagon Ally, which was great. The park itself looks great and what rides we did go on were great too, but I just wish there was more to experience.

Brian Morgan

Went to the Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights and had an absolutely awesome time! There are 10 haunted houses and all are unique and very detailed inside... and scary of course! This truly an event for an adult atmosphere of fun and memories.

LC Reed

It wasn't what I expected. It really was more of a merchandise park full of stores to push their stuff to buy. There were a couple of good rides but most of the park were stages and stores. The Universal Walk area was great with good restaurants and evening entertainment. I heard Universal Island of Adventures next door to Universal Studios is much better. We will check it out when we return to Florida.

Barbara Miranda

My kids love Universal Studios! We always have a great time when we go to this park. You will always have fun with your family and friends. There is alot to do from riding rides, to inside shows and lots of treats. I highly recommend Universal Studios!

Samantha Eller

Surprisingly excellent experience. I thought it would be closer to six flags great adventure and less Disney world, but it was much closer to Disney with it's immersiveness and attention to detail. Excellent coasters. Excellent rides. Harry Potter World brought me to tears. Absolutely exhausted! Can't wait to come back!

Kyle Lyons

We had lots of fun here. Tons to do. We only went to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, but had a great time. Lots of rides and several shows along with pop up shows. We also enjoyed the character meet ups!

Chris Aberger

If I was a child maybe it would be fun but I'm pretty sure I would have hated back as a child too. Long lines, every ride is basically a movie with moving chairs of some sort. The rollercoaster was cool but that was it. Also everything is extremely over priced want a 14 dollar malt liquor? Head over to duff's

Rick G

An unmissable park to visit. Lots of attractions to see and do and lots and lots of fun. The park is a sight to behold in how it is set out and spotlessly clean. The themed rides are brilliant in how they are combined roller coaster and animation with special effects that put you in the ride. A park not to miss out on.

Blue skies D

It was a good experience. If you are going it is best to stay for at least 3 days so you do not miss anything. Avoid pizza place really not more than a microwave pizza you will be disappointed. You can buy a refill cute container for refills all day.Not sure what it is but there fountain drinks ARE THE BEST tasting in the world! You can refill water also.Harry Potter area was the best.Expensive as expected but kids will love it.

Isaias Rivera

This is a great place for older children. The attractions were great. The staff A++ with the amount of people they deal with the the ease of flow within the park. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to be a kid again
