This Park is classified in the category of National park.
Awesome airboat ride at Coopertown
This was a great experience. Even though it rained all day, we had a great day. Saw an American crocodile, vultures and a lot of other birds. This is must if you're in southern Florida. The park rangers are very helpful and friendly.
I enjoyed it, but wanted the airboat ride to be longer. The guides were very knowledgeable.
This place is always beautiful and we need to take good care of our wetlands, there are many species that one may not see at first but a beautiful place to experience. It is said that the everglades is the closest sight you'll see how it was millions of years ago IG@roamsaround
Loved this place its beautiful. If you go out on one of the air boat tours you are shown around and get to see wild alligators ect. It's really good and the views are lovely. Would recommend to anyone who loves views and scenery.
This place is home to me, try and spot the Z tree on the way to flamingo. If your into the outdoors, wildlife, particularly fishing, kayaking, birding, hiking etc, this is a must stop place. Also if your in from out of town and decide to make the trip down. Please leave extra early bring food, and plenty of water, because once in your in the park your pretty much on your own. There is so much to see and do here a few hours will not give your admission price justice.
Nice experience. However the explanations on the tram were not clear and were provided like it was a robot reading them. There were no interesting stories but only facts which were kind of boring at some stage.
Did a wave runner tour with Captain Ron. Great fun for family!
W really enjoyed visiting here. Took the tram and saw a nice piece of the park. Plenty of alligator spottings and lots of birds also.
Want to see gators and other wildlife? This is the place for you and your family. Rent bikes or take the tram to view the abundant flora and fauna.
Little visible wildlife or flowers. Very hot. Prepare to be harrassed by insects. Miles of the same.
Great scenic highway, beats driving on the interstate. Be sure you have sufficient gas to make it to the end of the park.
The everglades is a beautiful place to visit. My only warning is know what trail you are getting on. Very little shade, if any on the trail we took. It was awesome to have the wildlife so close.
I'm sure it is lovely on the right season. I was there on september and there were no animals at all
Surreal. Hot. ONLY for adventurers. Beware of tides. Bring lots of mosquitoe spray! Pictures are on Highland Point Beach. Extremely remote. Nobody around for a very long way.
Such a cool place to visit a lot to see.
It was wonderful. Especially enjoyed Angel and John. They were hilarious and made our time extra special. Will recommend to everyone to try !
Alligator park and air boat was major attraction of our 1 day trip to Everglades. Freely roaming Gators in Everglades were scary and real fun to watch.
Everywhere you look is wild part of Florida wildlife. I saw many gators, birds, and turtles. Awesome
Has such great views! I really enjoyed my time! The boat rides were definitely a fun time. Definitely worth going too! Beautiful park, lots of sights to see.
Great place to go check out nature. Lots of animals to see there from alligators to birds, turtles and fish.
Love love love.. need to get away and enjoy nature? This is definitely the place to go. The trails and the views are great and on top of that it’s a way to disconnect and we all need that sometimes. Great for kids! They can do the Jr Ranger scavenger hunt and be rewarded with a badge. The experience is great for them too.
We really enjoyed doing the trail at Royal Palm with the Ranger. She's from Florida and is really passionate about the Everglades and what she does there for a living. Highly recommend doing a walk or talk with a Ranger.
I fish at this location great boat launch and several amenities for people. Checking the place out.. lots of birds and wildlife.
You cannot go wrong visiting the Everglades. Definitely a drive to get there by the wildlife is spectacular. We hired a guide to take us on a canoe trip and saw amazing snakes and alligators. Went in April which was perfect weather.
Fun airboat ride and not too expensive.
Our boat captain Kenny was very knowledgeable. Friendly staff.
The boat tour was exciting and informative. The museum was nice. The lecture was very good and the grandchildren ( ages 6 -18) enjoyed it. All questions were answered in a pleasant manner.
Some of the best places and spots can be found throughout this actual vast land of different challenges of bodies of water where you can find resourceful Food Supplies; fish meaning and different types of other sea and water animals that may or may not be edible
What a beautiful and serene park. Employees are nice and helpful. Park is well maintained. Park offers Many trails and activities. There's a convenient store by flamingo Bay that has drinks and snacks.
Lovely place to find a large variety of wildlife. There are several self-guided paths that are located on very well-maintained boardwalks. Plan to go in the morning to maximize the chances to spot animals.
Loved the guide and the airboat ride
Great place to learn about FL's Wildlife. I had a great time and would definitely come back! It was HOT as we went in summer. Bring water!!!!
Beautiful place to seen. Beautiful nature and animals. I recommend this place.
Truly unbelievable!! The night walk was one of the coolest experiences I've ever had
Went on a romantic canoe ride to scout out alligators and we were not disappointed. Took my husband here on his first trip to Florida and had a great time.
Beautiful weather this past weekend tons of Wildlife great place to visit if you want to see what Florida used to look like
Had an amazing time on our Airboat ride. Of you get a chance take a tour from this guy. He is knowledgeable and it's a great ride.
We went through there, to go to the Keys! Didn't see any wildlife. But did enjoy the scenery! Especially, since it has been well over 25 yrs since I've ventured that way!
A must see tour! Many wildlife in their natural habitat. A safe ride for the whole family.
The airboat tour was awesome! Our tour guide was great and Willie the alligator followed the boat whenever we passed him. Jumper the alligator seemed to be having flashbacks. I think she was ready to attack the way she stared us down. The scenery was absolutely beautiful!
I was surprised how much fun I had when visiting the Everglades. Very good attractions in there too.
One of the best national parks! Amazing array of wildlife! Best time to come is in the winter when the mosquitoes aren't bad and the alligators and birds gather at the lake at the visitor center.
Nice place to visit for a day or 2. The area near Miami is nicer than the southern parts.
I've been coming here since I was a child. The trails are nicely done. It's peaceful, clean and full of wildlife.
Beautiful view, while driving through it. Even better if you're not eaten by an alligator, but oh well, sometimes it happens!
This place is great. Far away from everything and everyone with all types of wild life everywhere. You can catch a tram and learn about the amazing ecosystem that is the Everglades.
Fun time driving down the super long gravel road looking at nature and seeing all the alligators. They love corn chips, but dont ever feed them. We learned the hard way that it is a federal offense.
If you want to see Gators, go to loop road in big Cyprus national preserve. It's free and there are way more Gators.
This place is alot of nothing. No rangers around some stop's pretty unsecured. Locals seem to use this place as a hide away. Wasn't groomed around parking area's. Not a good representation of the national parks
The first, the best and really the most important visit you can do once in Miami. Almost two hours - by bus- from South beach , but the trip is worth : the cruise around the swamp to discover the area and the alligator show make the adrenalin flowing. Better in the morning to avoid high temperatures. Don't forget to apply a repellent and ,of course, your camera to take photos with baby alligators.
The Shark Valley bike path was a great way to see wildlife! We saw many alligators in the swampy areas next to the path as well as birds and turtles. The ride was nice and flat, glad we brought plenty of water and sunscreen!
YOU HAVE TO GO ON A FAN BOAT TOUR! It was such a great experience going on a fan boat tour of the everglades! Its peaceful and relaxing! The white noise and gliding is such a fun experience!
The fishing here never disappoints.
Always wanted to visit the Everglades and not disappointed! It was great!
I enjoyed my fishing trip to the Everglades I caught 5 speckled trout. My captain of "Ankle deep" chartered boat thought me how to fish and in less than 10 minutes I was a pro..
The Anhinga Trail was a nice walk for our family with two kids, 9 and 8 years old. We saw a couple of alligators, even though it’s not the best season.
Loved this! We are from Colorado and really have nothing like this! It was a great experience! We learned a lot. My kids absolutely loved it! My daughter, is 8 years old, and loved holding the baby alligator. We had a lot of fun while learning too. Highly recommend for all ages. Great family fun!
Wild and beautiful. Should come here in the winter months though when its cooler.
Amazing! My fiance and I had such a great day here. $25 entrance fee gets you access for an entire week, and you can easily spend over a day here. There are so many different trails and things to do.
Nice place. Not Cheap
Was rather on the very edge from the Everglades National Park and so it was not deep inside but it was a great experience though.
My first trip to the Everglades. Had lots of fun on the airboats. Super cool
Educational, interesting, lots of alligators. I went in the dry season however. We rented bikes which was a perfect choice for us.
We kayaked 11 miles and had a blast. Some small shark stopped by to interact with our bill. It only added to the fun.
Love it. Thought I would hate it but was pleasantly surprised and would def go back. Swamps and Gators sound bad on paper but are really incredibly interesting in real life. The natural world had a magical vibrant feel out here. Well worth the trip.
I love the Everglades. It's great to drive down there and just sort of hang about taking photos.
What can one say about the Everglades? It's a fantastic place to visit. You wont be disappointed.
Hi I’m the creator of Famous&Millionaires And this is a beautiful place to visit Gilberto Lima
Rent a boat and find your own private sandbar
Beautiful, cant wait to go back
Beautiful park with awesome nature and animals! I highly recommend to take a walk with ranger that starts at 10:30 am every morning!!! He tells you really interesting facts about park and its history! He also shows you things you might not see on first sight! Many alligators and turtles! If you are lucky like we was, you'll see alligator few feats away from you. Stunning!
Simply beautiful, crisp, clear water, incredible fishing, private little islands, and an array of wildlife that you won't see thriving anywhere else. Be kind, its beautiful for a reason; those who came before you were conscious of what they left behing... nothing. If everyone does the same it will be an enjoyable experience for decades to come
Great airboat tour and alligator show
Great if u love walking
Nice national park. Such an awesome experience to see so many dopiness next to our boat. Be prepare for a ton of mosquitos there thought!
Winter is probably the best time to visit there.
Whole lot of walking would not be a safe place for women and children alone in my opinion better to go as a group you are in the middle of nowhere
Been going since I was small. Peaceful way to spend the day or camp overnight. Rangers are awesome & visitors center is informative and air conditiined. World Class fishing in Flamingo!
Great funky old Florida experience. Good places to eat right on the water.
My family and I saw dolphins running near our boat. Also, a six foot shark was sighted by us during our boat trip.
The main visitor center was good and the drive through to the other end was otherworldly beautiful. Lots of good stops to get out and see areas up close.
Beautiful and relaxing g place, takes me away from everyday stress if any. Just peaceful
Cost $30 but you can go as many times as you want for a week. Went by myself and had a blast. Next time i will bring someone with me to share my experience.
Great place to check out! Cool to learn more about the ecosystem down here.
Visitors Center is small but nice, plan on 2 to 3 hour vist if you ride bike or the tram. Need to do one of those, if you want to see alligators.
The place looks pretty cool, staff is not that good though, they need to be more organized in terms of timing and how they handle groups, communication was not good either. I will give them another shot in future.
This is a great natural wonder which completely contrasts to the neighbouring places like Miami beach. The boat tours through the waters are amazing and great if you like boat journeys and have a good eye to try and spot the alligators
Fantastic place to get away. Observe by being still and quiet , you will see the most life and natural sounds. The freshest air is in the park. Take the tram or schedule a visit to the fort.
Breathtaking and remote, the everglades are a site to see.
We had such a great day!! Shout out to Marc @EvergreenDaySafari for all the knowledge that he shared!!! We learned so much more than if we would have gone those same places on our own!!!!!!
I love it when you can combine adventure with education. And that is exactly what you can do here
Little over-rated but worth a stop. There's always a chance to see something unusual or just spot some pretty fish. Otherwise it's hot humid and the experience lacks a little luster. Good rest stop though...rest rooms available and spaces for RVs and trailers
One of my favorite national parks. Also not as crowded as some national parks.
Great place , wifi, good confort food.Clean and organize.
It's a nice park, as expected for a national park. Be prepared to walk allot. Also bring plenty to drink and eat. There are only snacks for sale which are expensive. This is one of their sources of revenue so that is expected.
It was such a nice experience! Went with my cousin and family and everyone was super friendly! The airboat ride was super funny and we saw a lot of wildlife. They are huge on conservation and teach it a fun way. Their wildlife show is amazing as well! Didn't think id see as many creatures as we did.
No review needed. All-time favorite. Visit before this unique ecosystem falls victim to the many modern world threats. Go, quick!
Beautiful place to spend the day for visitors and hometown folks alike.
Beautiful park full of thousands of islands and animals. Take the boat tour and you may even get to see dolphins and manatees.
Great place to go if you want to go in an airboat and get a tour of the Everglades. See some alligators while touring and birds only found in Florida. They have a shop where you can get cold drinks, beer and food.
You will see more alligator during winter then summer. We visited gator park. Price was decent.
Had a great time with my family.
I love visiting ENP. I learn something new every time I go and always see new things. The alligators are the big draw but there are plenty of other things to see. The entire wildlife spectrum is amazing. There is also a lot of natural beauty.
I like it because it very beautiful and feels nice
Three alligators spoted. Very interesting.
Special place for us. We love coming down here on our weekends with family and friends.
Be aware that you will pay to enter - and it´s no cheap - and when you want to make a bus or bicicle tour, you will have to pay more. Besides that, it´s an amazing park, we walked around a little bit and we could see some animals around. It´s really in the middle of Everglades and a good experience, but a bit expensive to do that.
The Airboat Association of Florida 2019 Annual Fish Fry was great! We love our river of grass.
I grew up out in the Glades and there are many adventures to be had out there.Visit all so you get the feel the Indian tribes had many many years ago. There are all kinds of off roads and water adventures also.
It's a beautiful place canoeing kayaking fishing camping the place is huge you can go about 80mls to flamingo and is shallow but good reds The nature and sunsets are to die for
Amazing experience. We saw three alligators, many birds and snakes. Fair price. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Florida.
The main visitor center was good and the drive through to the other end was otherworldly beautiful. Lots of good stops to get out and see areas up close. Don't forget insect repellent.
Loved it. The ecosystem is so unique and the wildlife so incredible.
When all the way down to Flamingo. They really let that place go down the drain. Upkeep was terrible grass needed to be mowed buildings abandoned
Beautiful place to be, so quiet, peaceful and serene. We saw lots of wildlife including a few bird species, alligators, fish, and crabs. We did an airboat your that was awesome.. recommend for any family.
I adore the Everglades, we tried to canoe to a campsite but it was too windy but we still had a great time!
Love going there. Always visit Jungle Ervs airboat rides on route 29 for the mangrove tour, or they have the tours of the grasslands on route 41. Such a beautiful place
The park is an amazing place and really couldn't recommend it more. There is tons and wildlife and migratory birds in the winter. If you want to see wildlife I would definitely recommend going during winter. Its awesome how vast and diverse the parks ecosystems are. I would definitely recommend an airboat so you can cover more of the park and the time that you can spend there. If you have the chance to go to this amazing park then go. You will not regret the decision.
Such a diverse ecosystem how many places in the world can you go and experience so many species .maybe one day they will spray for mosquitoes..love it any way
Staff is friendly and the park has something for everyone but especially cycling. Be forewarned that It is pricey since it is $30 dollars for one automobile so if you plan to go more than once you can get an annual pass for $55.
Feel fresher, many kind of birds and fishes. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Their restaurant has fried fish burger which is very delicious.
Loved the tram ride from Shark Valley. We saw tons of animals and received an interesting history of the park from our guide. It's a two hour ride, not a minute was boring.
The Everglades are a treasure. This park is not flashy, but it lets you get up close and personal with the landscape and creatures. Within an easy one mile stroll, from the Shark Valley entrance, you can usually get with a short distance of gators, tropical birds, fish and snakes. You can also ride a tram or bike around the full 15 mile loop.
I actually boat the area pretty often and I would highly recommend going to Nest key if you have a boat and would like to spend the day hanging out. It is within Everglades national Park and is a short boat ride from Key Largo's Bayside.
Wonderful park, great for bird photos
Love the Habitat. If you are first time visiting, get to know where you going and plan ahead because is a long ride. Otherwise I love it there
for 30 dollars you can access the park for 7 days and calmly visit all the wonderful nature that a single day would not be possible
Wonderful guides. Beautiful scenery. Nature at its best.
We visited the park as a day trip. We could have stayed multiple days. It is a very beautiful place and all the staff was extremely friendly. The first few trails were fine but once we started further south the mosquitoes were pretty bad and cut our walks short. If this review was helpful please hit thumbs up!
This beautifull place is for people who like to take it ride in to the everglades
Went here with some friends of ours. What a great place. The atmosphere is fun with all fun stuff all over the walls. The food is amazing! It could be served at any stuffy 5 star restaurant but this is much more fun. They serve a Matacumbe style fish of your choice that has been seen on Diners, Drive-in, and Dives and on Bobby Flay. It is amazing with the snapper. The shrimp and scallops pesto was also awesome.
Loved the tram tour out of the Shark Valley Visitor Center! We were able to see a lot of alligators, turtles, birds, and fish.
If you like nature, this is the place to see it as it really is. If you participate in the National Park. Passport program, there are three stamps to get while visiting the park.
Not much here unless you like hiking. Drove through reserve and saw crows...hoped to see some crocodiles instead all we saw we're crowcodiles...lol. Probably a better place to visit later in the year when it's raining less...but I guess that goes for all of Florida.
A big favorite. Great nature walks. Florida is doing a great job preserving nature where possible.
Beautiful and peaceful place. The animals were fascinating. I can't wait to see my photos and share them.
I arrived at Park opening , the rangers are very nice. And helpful, I rode my bike all the way to the observation tower very peaceful and nice, some wildlife sights, mostly birds
Truly awesome national park! Such a cool and special place that's unique to Florida. We love bringing our bicycles to Shark Valley to ride and enjoy the natural beauty of the everglades and all its animals. If bike riding isn't an option, the tram tour is also wonderful. There isn't very much shade, so bring some head cover and of course plenty of water.
Perhaps it's because it was the beginning of the season but impressed i was not. I think like it deserves another chance given it's history and use in movies. The next time i come down will try again.
What a wonderful National Park! Strongly recommend you try to reserve your tour. Don't be discouraged by the somewhat limited parking at the Visitors Center. There are also designated spots on the tour for "walk on guests." That is how we made it, also just waited in the for parking. The two hour tour was amazing and our guide was so knowledgeable!!!
Great experience. Up close and personal with the crocodiles.. the tour guide was fab. Loads of info and plenty of stories. Really enjoyed our trip I would highly recommend this place it was the highlight of our trip
A beautiful portion of the Florida Everglades, complete with that invasive species, the Burmese Python. This is the place to go if you want to find them sunning on the dirt roads at sunrise. Take a lot of mosquito repellent as they are just as big as the alligators. A gorgeous drive with plenty of pullovers featuring educational signs along the way regarding the area you're driving through. Highly recommend!
This is a beautiful place for those who love nature, quiet, and exploring. Took an airboat ride, saw baby and adult gators in the wild, and huge turtles. Definitely visit the National Park welcome centers.
Awesome place to disconnect, not internet connection, for those that can't leave without social media this is not the place for them..Amen for that
Lots of wildlife, good trip with family. Was incredibly hot but a good visit.
Great place. Fun boat ride. A couple small gators came up to the boat and we took videos. Had a nice show afterwards. You can hold a small 3 ft gator afterwards for $3 and take a picture.
Was great everyone had a awesome time. Beautiful country. Alligator nuggets where so good.
A beautiful, unique park with lots of wilderness. Not many hiking trails, but lots of great canoeing on the Wilderness Waterway. Call the VC ahead of time to see if you can get a toe of the missile base, too.
Deep Woods Off or netting. I love this place!
This is a unique national park because the emphasis is on livings things rather than monuments or geological structures. The Everglades is unique because of many reasons: it is built on a coral substrate, it is an estuary, mixed salt and freshwater habitats, temperate and tropical environments, etc. This is the only place on Earth where alligators and crocodiles can be found together.
Took old road no traffic..panther bear gator warnings . nice drive ...safe ! Lots of cops !!
By far the best national park for wildlife viewing. Dolphins, manatees, crocodiles and alligators, hundreds of different bird and fish species, snakes and even the rare panther. Amazing place!
If you like nature, this is the place to see it as it really is. If you participate in the National Park.
Peaceful. Great for outdoor people. Nice trails to walk
If you like the wide open spaces and complete silence this is the place for you. True wilderness.
Best National Park in the southeast. Huge area with tons of wildlife!
