REVIEWS OF Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park IN Florida

David H. Nguyen

This is a "cool" water park. A winter themed water park? YES! And it's well executed. To get to the top of the biggest "peak" they have a "ski lift". This gives you access to their big slide, summit plummit. It also gives you access to a small slide and a pretty intense group tube ride. There are also 2 smaller peaks. One of those has the slides where you grip the piece and go down. The one where you go down the winding tubes was my favorite. Overall, the lines were very reasonable about 15-30 minutes per slide, we were able to do all of the slides in a short amount of time. We didn't get to experience the lazy river as we only spent half a day here.

Kenny Hopkins Jr.

Great waterpark, everything is close and the rides are fun. The theme is ski resort and it works well. We like both Disney waterparks but this currently the favorite.

Lynette Browne

A great addition to Disney World. My daughter loved it and would have stayed all day if I had let her. They had lots of dressing/bathroom space, lots of lockers, lots of eating tables. We didn't do any of the "big" rides. But we did some small and medium sized ones. It was a hot day, so the water was a welcome retreat. My only complaint was the maps in the park, with the whole "You are here" markers. I couldn't make heads or tails out of them! I will say the cast members were very helpful when I would walk up to one and say "How do I get to ..." Here's a hint. If your child needs a straw (like mine), and you get the standard line "There are no straws anywhere in the park," get a juice box. It comes with a straw.

Greg Fountain

It's a nice water park. Lots of shade and places to grab a chair or lounger. Lines for some of the slides can get long and take a while, but a great place to beat the heat.

Matthew Rogers

This was my favourite waterpark. It has some of the best slides and rides all wrapped up in a fun snowy setting. The chair lift is just like you get on the slopes and the kids adventure area is really good for 4-8 year olds. The summit plumit is emence and is something for the thrill seeker. Its massive and the views from the top are amazing.

wanda vargas

This place is truly magical and so relaxing! Free parking. Love anything Disney!

RE Icy

Great water park. Must go for children and adults. Had a great time

Yaminah Sutton

Love love love it. Especially the lazy river which is my favorite water "ride" in the world. I can stay in there for hours. The other rides are fun and they have a kids section. All ages can enjoy thr water here.

Matt Jones

Good water park with some great rides. Probably better suited to children taller than the obligatory 48". We went on a cooler day (about 23 degC) and it was quiet enough that we didn't really need to queue for anything. I imagine they will be worse on a warmer day though.

Martijn Fonteine

Really nice place to swim. The slides are very cool!

Arianna Thurow

The price is Disney excessive; if I didn't have an employee sister, I would probably never come. But the park is a very fun day with adequate seating for crowds. The staff manages the rides well; the lines can get long, but everything runs efficiently.

Richard Harrison

Thoroughly enjoyable visit. Busy bit plenty of room to move around unhurried and lots of places to relax. Summit Plummit is a must for thrill seekers. Although we really enjoyed it, we were unanimous in thinking that the rides were ever so slightly tamer than Wet n Wild, but still spent an enjoyable day. Highly recommended.

There are lots of sunbeds and seats around the park and lots of shade if you want that too. The slides are great and there is a zone especially for young children and another for tweens. Our family especially loved the family raft ride which was longer and more exciting than the one at typhoon lagoon. The wave pool was great too. The waves were constantly choppy rather than the gushing wave at typhoon lagoon which suited our family better (2 adults and 3 children 7, 10,16) and you could also take the inflatable rings in too.

We went to the blizzard beach park today. Park was clean, well maintained and the staff very friendly. Queue times were shorter than I expected and so managed to fit lots in.

Jennifer Bollendorf

Awesome concept. Liked the refill cups. My boys had a blast. 14 & 17

Tom Whitehall

Fun miniature golf course with 2 sides. We go here every year as part of our trip to Disney.

Chaos Manager 79

Really enjoyed it there was s small wait but nothing major. Loved the Christmas music playing and the price was normal nit outrageous. They even have canned beer for the parents.

Nicholas Smith

Would definitely go back again. They had low key slides medium rides and higher speed slides. All quite fun and would recommend. We went on a slightly cloudy Sunday in February and it was quite dead! Barely even a minute wait to go down the …

Paul Hsia

Awesome water park. Great slides and lazy river. Winter theme and non-stop Christmas music makes this a unique and memorable way to cool off.

We took our granddaughters (ages 11 & 17) to Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park. As you can imagine, since it’s Disney, it is well done! There are a number of different kinds of water slides, a wave pool, and a Lazy River. There is a ski lift that takes people to the top of the mountain where you have a choice of the one-person slide or a large raft that holds up to 6 people. There is also a great place for younger children where they can enjoy the same types of activities, but which are age appropriate. There are plenty of places to purchase food and drinks. There are plenty of restroom areas, and you can rent a locker to stow your dry clothes. All of us had a super fun day at Blizzard Beach!

James Baker

It's a fun place to waste a day away. The slides are fun and the wave pool is crazy cool. Depending on the day it can be short lines or 2hrs so roll the dice and have fun. 4 stars because like all Disney parks the price is rediculous.

Stuart Brooks

What is not too love about it. Main pool is a bit small for size of park, but otherwise great place for a day out

Robert Croxford

Great water park. Spotless and beautifully laid out. Has more thrilling rides than typhoon lagoon. Summit plumit is the most thrilling drop slide in Orlando by far.

NEIL BOLTON

Excellent range of things for kids and adults. Huge number of beds and chairs and free life jackets was a winner for me

Andrew Smith

We are big fans of the water parks instead of other attractions to beat the heat and chill in Orlando. There is a cornucopia of rides and thrills here, we love the lazy river in particular. Easy to get to, super tasty fresh donuts, food is ok, adult drinks get the job done. All day fun.

My family and I loves our experience at Blizzard Beach! We went here to celebrate our son's first birthday and he went wild in the toddler play area. I could see it being a bit of a bummer having a child who can't walk yet, but Disney has ways to accommodate! The lazy river was nice and relaxing and they even have rafts with solid bottoms for sitters. If you're at Blizzard Beach, then you're most likely in Florida in the summer. This was a really relaxing day for me and my family.

Adrian Vanzulli

Good food options, especially for those with dietary restrictions, and never feels too full with people

Mark Sanders

If you want a waterpark with more thrill slides go to Disney's Lagoon. Blizzard has also some nice ones, but also more for family. Free showers (with soap) Free cold tap water to drink Lockers: small $10 big $ 15 Towel hire $2 each Nice theme park The floors can get really hot when walking on beer feet We enjoyed it

owen nelson

Loved this place, the lazy river goes on and on and on. The individual slides are exhilarating and waiting times are reasonable, around 15 to 20 mins in late July. The food from the main eatery was very good and using the dining plan makes swift. Good place to spend 3 or 4 hours

Mary Sykes

I bought a season pass. Great place to bring the little ones. I have a 8 month old and there are two places to take her. A splash pad & a bigger pool with activities for the bigger kids. We also joined in on the wave pool and she feel asleep on me in the lazy river. Bring a umbrella. Glad I brought it, plenty of seats but the shaded spots were taken & we got there at 11. Highly recommend for babies. So much fun & the bathrooms for families were nice to change diapers & breastfeed in privacy plus they have AC.

Oscar Sanchez

Nice water park with Disney standards. Options for kids and adults. Parking is free! The rides are fun, including different slides for all ages. The only downside for me is the food options, very limited and not that good. We paid almost 69 USD for a day pass but if you are coming more days to this one or Typhoon Lagoon an annual pass for the water parks is a better option as it cost just 139 USD. It is important to mention that the staff in this park is very kind. Don’t miss the lazy river!

Caroline Callister

Fantastic time spent here with 3 kids (10, 8 & 6). Lots to do with no waiting times. Easily found deck chairs. Friendly helpful staff. Loved it

Eric H

Fun, lines not too long, but it's FL, lots of storms rolling through shutting down the slides(not their fault)

Delilah Mireles

It was a fun little side trip, good customer service .

Tom vaillancourt

Very fun park to go to on a hot summer day. We have gone every week this summer. Best to go open till the rain starts then head out.

Rob Novak

Pretty serviceable water park. Fairly small as water parks go, was great for our 6 year old. The ski patrol training says for tweens but younger kids can definitely do all the activities.

Lauren Hahn

Excellent water park. Summit plummet is scary but fun. The lazy river is so nice. The drinking water in the water fountains was not tasty.... Lots of sun beds, lots of shade, nicely set up and designed. Great rides.

Ethan Lethers

Enjoyable! Not too packed like Disneys main parks. There's not a whole lot. If you have a good couple hours, you can do everything.

EweCat Walker

A wonderfully compact wee park that has all the watet rides the family needs. It starts off with free parking (compared to 25 dollars in other Disney / Universal parks) and at 3pm was certainly quieter as a few school parties left for their buses. Kids area is less complex than other parks but has some unique rides like an iceberg assault course or zip wire. Adults won't be disappointed especially with two course crazy putting courses next door to end a day of fun.

J M

Great park for younger kids, but there's not really much there. The wave pool is pretty fun, though. I just wish they had done a little more with this park. It could've been a much better alternative to the other water park that focuses on entertaining younger children who may be a little too young to really enjoy Typhoon. As it stands, it is still a good option for them, but there's not much variety in what they can do there.

Shalagh Hunter

Blizzard beach has nice decor and a few characters roaming around. You can take the lift to the top of the mountain where the majority of the slides are or walk the million of stairs. I think blizzard beach is very appropriate for the younger kids. Overall we enjoyed the different experience.

Osman Toruno

This place is probably the most refreshing Disney attraction, I recommend using the water park option in between park visits to get some R&R, the lazy River is awesome, they also have a steep water slide for the adrenaline junkies. Clean restrooms everywhere, refreshing spirit options and ice cream buckets for the kiddos. They have lockers you can use for a reasonable fee, if you forget something no worries they have a pro shop with everything you need to have fun in sun.

Wolfgang Flood

For a Disney park its pretty underwhelming. There are much better none Disney water parks out there

mike hart

Disney have let this place get very run down, toilets had a very strong smell of urine and the toilet I used didn't flush also the first 2 hand basins I tried to wash my hands didn't work. We were going to go to Typhoon lagoon later in our trip but are not going to bother now and go to Volcano Bay instead as it was immaculate

doug campbell

Blizzard beach was a ton of fun. The lazy river encircles the whole park, making it more like a method of transport than just a ride. They have sections for my five year old and my eight year old as well as super fun rides for adults. Plus the water is heated (we went on a cloudy day and it was practically empty, but the water was still warm enough to enjoy)

Dawny Desroches

One of the best waterparks I have ever been to. everything about it was perfect! How ever the summit plummet is just absolutely insane. Such an experience! I will be back! •Highly Recommended•Trusted Review•

Simon Seagrave

Great place to visit and spend a day with the family. Definitely try and get there 30mins before opening to try and get a good deckchair(s) in the shade. I recommend down near the beach water front at the Warming Hut end.

Maria Silver

This place is a lot of fun. Kids loved every single thing about it. Not too long, clean bathrooms, water fountains and other drinks are available for purchase. We spent about an hour doing 18 hole course.

Angelina Hess

Love that they have little kid area then like bigger kid area then adult/teen slides..my 7 year old was to tall for little area but not ready for big stuff yet so. Bigger area was perfect!

Sarah Thorson

We loved our time here! We really enjoyed the wave pool, it was fun to float on the inner tubes in the waves. We also really enjoyed the lazy river. The frozen lemonade and donuts with dipping sauce were amazing! Definitely a fun place to spend a hot day!

Bee King

Something for everyone! My 6 year old daughter didn't want to leave, and was crying at the prospect. An absolutely lovely cast member, Sydney, took the time to sit down with her and cheer her up before leaving. Thank you, it was enormously appreciated. Good food, great rides, great atmosphere.

Henry Edvard

Aman Jain

A good Ice based water park. Hot surface on sunny day. Can be done in 4 hrs.

Lindsey Brayton

This is the best place to spend half a day relaxing and cooling off from the Florida Heat! Perfect for all ages from Toddlers all the way up to risk loving adults! My seven-year-old daughter absolutely loved the wave pool and the medium size slides that were the perfect size for her. I personally liked the lazy river that goes all the way around the Park and the ski lift up to the top of the mountain. We brought our own food and didn't have to spend a dime inside the park! Lots of places to sit and picnic tables.

Jamie Settle

I love Disney’s water parks. I love to just tube around the park! So relaxing and fun!

CURLYTOP

One of the best resorts. Cute comfortable townhouse.

God Sinatra

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a water park, and in fact it is the only bad experience I've had at one. The staff was not cooperative and unfair in resolving my issue. My son spent one hour waiting in a line to go on a ride. When it was his turn the woman in charge of the ride decided that my son was too tall even though he had already measured himself at the entrance and he was at the same height as the mark. She decided that my son was taller than the requirement, but the child in front of him, who was the same height, was allowed to take the ride just because he was from another country (origin) and of course, because Disney is "very politically correct", she let the other child get on the ride but did not allow mine. If she would have been capable enough to hold this position then she would have let both children take the ride or she would have denied both. My son was very upset after he came out of the ride and the worst part: I did not know what to say to calm him down. How do I explain to my son why your staff chose between two children with the same age and height, one could take the ride and the other child not? I hope that you can train your staff better to know how to handle customers because its an expensive attraction plus you have to spend money and waste time to travel there.

Sara Chung

This park has lots of shades for the hot summer days. It has more exciting rides for older kids. It also has a toddler area for the little one. The wave pool is less intensive comparing to the other park. We were able to get our 4 years old special need boy to enjoy the wave pool and the lazy river. Overall Disney water parks is very family friendly. We get to bring our own food and the parking is free. We are very happy with our annual pass purchase.

Teresa Fields

It wasn’t as busy as Typhoon lagoon, less cold water falling or spraying. Seemed more shaded too. I prefer Typhoon lagoon because this one you have to walk further to find a place to put your stuff. I found a small chair to put my stuff down. They don’t have the clear floating chairs just tubes. They hurt my neck, so not as comfortable. So if you are looking for a more shaded lazy river this is it. I was by myself so I didn’t ride any of the rides.

Melissa Sumner Hale

We have passes and we do love it here. The lazy river with children, is not so lazy but hey...we love it. We love the family ride and my teens love the slush gusher and summit plummet. We bring our cooler with drinks and never spend anything extra!

George Ebanks

We had an absolute blast at this water park. Exceptionally clean. The umbrella reservation (max 4 people) is totally worth it, especially because my partner burns easily. It's a great little beach retreat when you need a rest from the slides & also easy to hop back in the lazy river that goes around the park. Changing rooms & showers (very clean) are a wonderful perk. You can shower, change & head to Disney Springs or home.

Brianbarbara Beighton

More adventurous rides than Typhoon Lake but I preferred the more relaxing Typhoon Lake.

Jonathan Rudolph

Fantastic park, although pricey. This park is more geared for younger children than typhoon lagoon. And there are several family attractions that make this a wonderful stop when not in the parks.

Nicholas Bryan

Going down the tube slide on your belly is not recommend... But sure was fun! Had a better time than I expected... Smoking section is outside of the park which is annoying but understandable, and the adult drinks a little pricey but still great, just plan ahead! Bring drinks and snacks!

Deitrich Bouey

Love it here, as a platinum plus annual passholder I go often..... Great way to relax.....

Wendla Oldaker

Always a fun place to visit. Wish we could go more often. Water is refreshing and clean with not too much clorine. The staff is always helpful and pleasant.

Sandra Moore

I didn't want to leave this place. My kids had to drag me out kicking and screaming. It was a lots of fun and relaxing.

Ian Morgan

Enjoyed this with the family. Free parking which was nice for a change! Locker are good and reasonably priced. Recommend getting one as you spend a lot of time away from your stuff. The lazy river is very slow! Summit plummet is very fast (and high).

Stuart Campbell

Great place, free parking was so nice after paying to park while visiting other Disney attractions... Plenty of shady spaces to set up for the day and then a great selection of slides, pool and lazy river. Great for the whole family, we loved it there..

Sidney James

So much fun. It's huge and kid friendly. There is alcohol but it's not the main focus point. Good for all ages

Charlene Ornelas

Amazing experience at this water park. Very kind and caring staff. Want to commend Manny who was in charge at Snow Stormers today and helped my 5 year old niece overcome her fear and even gave her a little friend to join her on her ride down. Thank you Manny for going above and beyond when you didn’t have to. Thank you Disney for employing high quality staff!

Angela Hamilton

I just love Mickey!!! Wish they had a wider selection of merchandise though! We should have gone to the other water park, they didn't have very many floats for the wave pool... we paid extra for a cabana and our lounge couch was broken.

Lesley Rohan

What a great time. Well laid out with minimal wait time. Even during the rainy part of the day, there were activities for children and a few spots to stay somewhat dry. Had a blast.

Kristen Sullivan

Had a great time there with the family! The tallest you need to be is 48" for all the big slides. My daughter had a blast! They do have an area with slides for the little ones and an area for the older kids to play. We went on a weekday and all the wait times were less than 15mins. Food was surprisingly good. They have a couple frozen alcoholic drinks to choose from too.

Aleksandra Panchenko

Day is not enough. Best Disney water park! We loved it so much

April Scalisce

Amazing place to bring the kids! We will definitely be back soon!! We loved it!

Derek Eicher

Tikes peak is great for little kids (must be under 48 inches.) Plenty of awesome slides and rides for bigger kids and adults. Wish the hours of operation we're longer during the spring and fall time.

Kevin Sylvane

The slides the wave pool need i say more. The workers are so helpful and informative and very pleasant. The whole family loved it. BUT...some of the prices are ridiculous.

Phil Jackson

Whilst we enjoyed this park we felt on the whole it wasn't quite what we had come to expect from a Disney park. It felt a little empty and I don't mean in the population way. We were there slightly out of season and just before Hurricane Dorian was due so it wasn't busy, plenty of beds available and quick queues for all the slides. Facilities available were the standard ones for the water parks, free showers and changing areas (not large by any means and I could see large queues for these at busier times) paid lockers of different sizes and cost. Clean toilets and general park areas and free parking The food was the standard Disney food and the refillable cups were available to buy and re charge, I would recommend these (You don't need one each), especially if you plan on doing more than one day at a park. The slides were average to poor apart from the large drop slides which provide some excitement but the ski lift to the top was not in operation and it's a trek up all the stairs. Sat at the top of the big one is not for the faint hearted and a few backed out while we were there but my 9 year old leant back and just got on with it and was fine. Not sure she would do it again though.

Cory Stites

A great water park, especially with it being Disney run. The kids enjoyed themselves. The amount of different areas for different ages made it easy with a 2yo and 4yo.

Kerri Schmidt

Totally loved it. We went with the kids for the night glow.

Zach

Been to Disney world for yrs but first time here. Great parking. Best lazy river. Only 10 for all day Locker

Ashlee Gibson

We had a great time! It was very clean, and not super crowded. We loved that our daughter got to meet Goofy without waiting in a huge line.

mark shirley

By far and away the best waterpark in orlando. Used to be wet and wild but that's closed now. Really cant see the point in clearing pools when they say there's a risk of lightening??? Find cover they say

Branden Stuck

Great mini golf place. Design is great, course has some helpers but can still offer some challenge. Only con is the price has gotten quite expensive in the last couple years. Now $14.95 a person with small $2 discount for kids.

Evergladeslady 1

Very family-friendly I liked Blizzard Beach better than Typhoon Lagoon. Blizzard Beach seem to have more rides that were suited for everyone

Michelle Parker

Amazingly themed water park that has awesome slides for all members of the family

Leigh Licata

Went to the mini golf course next to the water park. Pretty cool theming here as the two 18 holes courses are winter and summer. It is pretty expensive for mini golf and some of the tee areas are kind of funky. Sometimes you can't get your ball to stay and some have lips that can send the ball in funny directions. All in all, it's a good place to kill some time and everyone should enjoy themselves.

Daniela Coutin Diaz

Yesterday as an annual passholder I visited Blizzard Beach, it turns out that while I was looking for some snacks for my son, he heard someone shout when I approached. I see that the old ridiculous lack of education was screaming at my 2-year-old son because he wanted to go down to his Child of a game and in what she said if your mom does not teach you I'll teach you and with stronger words, I grab my son by the hand and shake him, we start to discuss the Disney girl called someone Security, to talk to the lady, I asked to call the police, which arrived but Disney did not let him get in because I imagine it was the name of the company, the police did not come because they are from the that the companies pay to bring and monitor the place, I felt too angry because nobody did anything, it is assumed that if you go to a park where there are children you must have patience and respect with others Children you as an adult you can not match yourself with a child, and what gives more courage is that Disney just wanted to offer things so that I would stay quiet when I really wanted was for the old woman without education to be taken away by the authorities, stop arguing because my son would not stop crying and say that he was scared He did not want to go into the pool anymore because he was afraid the lady was there .. I repeat they did not do anything, I asked them to check the cameras which they told me they did not have .. So if you want to visit this park with your children I hope you are aware that they will not let the police act. If your children have something wrong, any uneducated person can treat your child badly and Disney's will not do anything and if they ask for the cameras they will refuse saying they do not have ...

James Burdick

This park is awesome. It's like if the Matterhorn had a small village at it's base.. super cute and tons of things to do. The wave pool isn't as brutal as typhoon lagoon, so it's a nice difference. Food is awesome, lots of choices for both food and beverage. Park is clean and the people are nice. Tons of chairs and places to get shade. We have summer passes so we will be back many, many times.

Andrea O'Brien

This was one of the best days of the vacation. It was relaxed and the kids loved the water slides and pools.

simon crisp

Best family water park I have been to. I would recommend getting in as early as possible to get a decent place to lounge if you need shade.

Tim Adams

Water slides for all ages. Faster water slides than at Typhoon Lagoon, but missing the giant wave. Overall, great park, very clean, excellent service as usual with Disney.

Jason T. Chun

This is different than Typhoon Lagoon in that it's much more Disney. The smaller wave pool that centers the park is surprisingly enjoyable because it bobs you in your place and makes it enjoyable. The ski lift takes you to all sorts of other rides that starts from top so it's a must...

Abby Porter

Great fun. Lots to do with 7 yo. Refillable cup handy too!

Eric Gordon

Again, Disney quality facility! Something for all ages, great slides, and FREE parking (unlike the $45/$50 preferred parking at the main parks, which I grudgingly pay for, because I don't want to spend a single extra second in the parking lot when it comes time to haul the screaming children home...)

Yunny Hou

For the food in Blizzard beach, my friend and I tried out Avalunch's hotdog which was a quick service food to grab on the go. They have many flavours of hotdog toppings, my favourite is the Bacon Macaroni and Cheese beef Hot Dog! The cheesy mac and cheese sauce soaks up the bread and hotdog making them extra cheesy! They also have nachos and Chili-cheese flavours too. Bacon Mac and Cheese Beef Hot Dog - $10.99

Leticia Mills

Totally enjoyed this on a very hot day. Stayed from open to close. Buy the water park pass where you get unlimited refill cup, Disney signature beach towel and an entree with dessert for $46.46 And bring lots of sunscreen

AMANDA MCDERMOTT

The park is wonderful. Lots of slide options and the wait time for most of them average 15min wait. There are showers and changing rooms which is a plus. We haven't eaten anything there,we bring our own coolers with food and drink just no glass and they have to be on the smaller carry size. Seatings all around the park. A awesome kids area with lots of fun for the younger ones. This is definitely a one size fits all for a family outing.

Matt Yeargin

Fun Waterpark. Awesome 120ft slide! Wave pool is boring after going to typhon lagoon, and the park needs a few more water slides. Kid area is really nice.

Jessica Rodriguez

Had a great time! lines were manageable. The only things that bothered us is the glaring white and the incredibly hot ground. It would've been nice to have a couple of 2 person rides. Cast members were very friendly and helpful.

Bridgette Riffe

Plenty of things to do ranging from great thrill rides to a very long & entertaining lazy river! Had water coolers w paper cups that allowed people to hydrate in the long lines for the slides, Disney did not have this at their typhoon lagoon park. Towels are only provided at the park if you are staying at a Disney resort EVEN IF YOU PURCHASED A MAGIC BAND. Get there early to avoid long ticket lines, which are longer than the actual lines for the rides (or purchase a magic band), and to find lounge chairs for your stuff! Personally I did not find it necessary to purchase a locker, just put my belongings under a towel. You don’t need to spend more than 4 hours at either of the Disney water parks. If you eat breakfast before, get there early, and maybe bring a snack you can easily get out of there before lunch & find a better & cheaper place to eat!

Brenton Weyant

The park is the family friendly waterpark. It has more stuff centered towards kids. There are lots of fun water slides and a nice lazy river. Just not as much as Typhoon Lagoon. If your looking for more thrills I recommend going there.

Shari Nelson

The slides are better than Typhoon Lagoon but it didn't have the same wave pool. Still a very fun, family friendly place.

Paul Leach

We normally go to Blizzard Beach for opening time but today we went later on, we got there for 1:30 and played mini golf which was good fun. We got into Blizzard Beach for 2:30, there were people leaving and the lines for rides didn't seem very long, the longest queue was 20 minutes, we got alot packed in and left at 8pm

Ebin Joseph

Has fewer attractions than the other Disney sites but since it's water activities and you spend less time waiting, it feels like a full day. You definitely only need to spend one day here to do everything. Good fun for any age group!

Pablo Biscayart

Slides are great, and they have sprinklers on the paths so you can go barefoot if you want. They also have plenty of lounge chairs all over the place, so you are almost guaranteed to find a place in the shade

This was my first time here and we had a great time. There was more to do than I thought there would be. The wave pool was good as well as the seating, though finding seating wasn't very easy and I wish the chairs that lay almost all the way down were adjustable to set the seat back up. The lazy river was really nice, especially with the cold water coming from some of the places you pass under on a hot day. I didn't get a chance to do any of the slides or tube rides but they looked like they would be fun. The Tike's Peak area for smaller children is nice because it has smaller slides and a tube ride they can go on. I didn't get to see the Ski Patrol Training area but my kids kids loved it. Apparently that area is not for "tweens" so kids who are 13 or older might not be able to do everything there. The only problem is that the Florida summer weather cut our day short by a few hours. I would definitely expect this to be a possibility if you're visiting in summer. There's rain daily and a lot of time it's with an electric storm which they have to clear almost all of the park for. The ski lift was actually shut down well before anything else just because there was a thunderstorm reported somewhere in the area. Everything else ran until a while later when the storm was actually close enough to hear and lightning was seen.

Tony Kalberg

Rating the mini golf not the water park. We were skeptical as to whether we would enjoy this. But it was fun! Took like an hour and the kids loved it! Friendly helpful staff and clean area. Overall good experience and we would do it again.

Sam Easton

Great day out with family! Lots of fun and excitement for everyone.

Roberto Finale

The best time to come is before Memorial Dy weekend. The crowds were low and the weather was nice. All of the rides were 10 minutes or less wait. There Is a wave pool, multiple water slides, food and a kid play area. The service here is amazing. For $2 you can rent a towel and lockers for $10 to hold your belongings. If you come here early enough you can have everything done in a few hours with more than enough times to do things twice.

Francois Betancourt

Great time always. Get there when it opens and enjoy minimal wait times.

Ryszard Gorazda

Cool winter themed water park. Good choice of rides and slopes ( family raft is very good) the wait times are reasonable ( mostly under 15min). The walkways can get very hot so watch out. Also car park is free so it's worth to drive in car.

We had a blast! Not quite sure why there are 500 steps to every slide! But it's a ton if fun. This had more crazy slides then typhoon lagoon, but we live the wave pool at typhoon lagoon.

Perfect water park for all ages. Love the lazy river and its many destination entrances/exits however I was expecting it to be cleaner. There were massive amounts of debris floating alongside us that made me feel dirty. The toddler area was super fun and the guards are very attentive

Fun, fun and FUN. Blizzard Beach is absolutely off the charts with water rides , A lazy river that goes around the whole park and a neverending wave pool. Plenty of concessions stands for eats, drinks and desserts. Gift shops and a awesome miniature golf course. And the best part of Blizzard beach is that it's Christmas all year round with holiday music playing throughout the park. No worries about parking because there's plenty for everyone and conveniently located handicap parking spaces and access. This place is at the top of my list for FUN. Blizzard beach also offers annual passes that meet any budget .

Mark Best

Out of all the disney parks we visited this is by far the one we enjoyed the most. Lots of different slides catering for all ages and usually with only a minimal queue. Would definitely come again.

Bangertree Forest

It's a quiet water park, and you don't have to queue long. Love it.

Ed Drexel

Fun sports. Something for everyone. Great way to spend a few hours cooling g off!!

Joseph McGrath

We found Blizzard beach the better of the two Disney water parks with a lot more to do and a lot quieter. It is not as visually pleasing as Typhoon Lagoon but for slides it is hands down the better of the two.

Daniel Maddock

Love Blizzard Beach. One of the best places on earth! If you get hungry the Nachos are out of this world

Ian Bashforth

Awesome water park with a massive selection of slides, chutes and attractions. There layout feels slightly confusing when getting on and off the lazy river, it's packed with features everywhere so worth studying the park plan before commencing the full day here. Walk ways have plenty of water sprays to prevent them getting too hot to walk on, and the Teamboat springs is a must if you're all there as a family. Summit Plummet is not for the faint hearted! There are plenty of food and drink outlets, and it is worth investing in a refillable soft drinks cup at the start of the day, it will save both money and time/hassle of carrying money round to pay for more drinks. Everywhere is spotlessly clean, towels can be hired on site and restroom facilities are easy to find. As usual for Disney, the staff are awesome

cory stiely

Typhoon Lagoon is the better park but this has fewer people and shorter wait times for slides. All times should be less than 15 minutes. If you have to pick one, go to Typhoon Lagoon. Go early like around 10 or you'll be rained out in the afternoon. Small lockers are $10, Large are $15.

Cassandra Davis

My family had a wonderful time. All staff at the theme park were very helpful. They were very courteous and very nice. We rented a cabana which I highly recommend cut down on the stress of not knowing where things would be if you were out and about on the attractions. Our attendant, Derrick with 2 "r's" what's super, super great. He was very atentative to our needs and made our stay even more special. We'll be coming back again very soon and requesting Derrick as our attendance again.

Steve Luke

So much fun! Even on a cool and rainy day, we couldn't have enjoyed it more. All the cast were so friendly and smiling, just normal Disney. And Kyle, our cashier at the counter service restaurant, was THE BEST! As Disney likes to say, he went ABOVE AND BEYOND! Job well done!

Cathy Holman

We had lunch at the Ale and Compass. The fish tacos were fantastic as was the Ale & compass salad. The service was friendly and discrete. Definitely recommend for a great meal away from the hustle and bustle.

Mike Clements

Great water park, not to busy, about a 10min wait on the slides. Tons of stuff for the kids to enjoy. Relaxing in the lazy river was nice after a time in the main pool. Lifeguards were awesome, really on the ball in the wave pool keeping a check over everybody. A brilliant day out.

Janet Park

Great fun water park everyone in our party had a great time.

Enma A

Great time for all ages! The lockers are worth getting and the park allows you to bring a cooler and snacks. There are very few bugs no matter what season you go and the repeat value is worth the price for Florida residents.

Deborah Hughes

Great way to break up your Disney trip. Mixed this into our week of Disney. Disney's "Memory Maker" photographers are grossly lacking and we were disappointed that there were few, almost no photographers there for having bought that service option. Same situation over at Typhoon Lagoon. Also lacking! They even apologized at the shop within the water park that promoted "Memory Maker". If there was anytime that you would want a Memory Maker photographer, it would be when you cannot carry a camera ((like, hint hint, in a water park)). Slides were fun and it made for a great break. Larger space, yet not as slide ambitious as a "Great Wolf Lodge" slide experience

Heather Dixon

Great clean park. Good for young kids, not alot of options for older kids

Jay Stofleth

We were Rained out but was cool what we did get to do. Down fall is they close at 5. Lifeguards are very unturned with people and quick to save. Witness a guard saving a young person. Made it look effortless. Sights are cool and slides are fast. Something for the whole family.

Henry Edvard

Thoroughly enjoyable visit. Busy bit plenty of room to move around unhurried and lots of places to relax. Summit Plummet is a must for thrill seekers. Although we really enjoyed it, we were unanimous in thinking that the rides were ever so slightly tamer than Wet n Wild, but still spent an enjoyable day. Highly recommended.

Jackie saganich

This park is amazing! The slides are so much fun and the lazy river us a great way to relax! Amazing atmosphere. On our most recent visit we noticed they added a vegan/vegetarian menu to their quick service restaurant! This is fantastic news! Great job, keep it up!

Roddy Rodriguez

Spent a few hours in this park. Very good rides. The summit plummet ride is quite fast and scary! It is nearly a free fall and you go very fast! There are a few others a bit more enjoyable and we also enjoyed the wavy beach. The lift makes the going up to the rides a lot easier and the view is nice. There is an area for small children who can also enjoy the stay. Lockers cost $10-15 depending on the size and towels are also available for renting. There are lots of places where to sit and rest. The place is clean and there are staff present everywhere. Overall a nice experience!

Steve Findlay

Not a big water park person but came to see what it was like and have a walk around and have been very impressed. Awesome chair lift ride, worth it for views of the park from on high, good choice of food. Even if you don't want to get wet it's still worth being here for a couple of hours to sit and listen to waves hitting the shore and enjoying the spectacular view

Don A

A great water park. Only downfall is getting to the top for a few of the slides. Huge lazy river and wave pool.

Brian Brown

It's a very nice park but it is beginning to show its age. Universal Studios Volcano at is a lot better park overall. We are a Disney family but facts are facts. Disney will probably update it before too long.

Kim Bosshardt

Kids love the experience but somehow we expect more from Disney and always get let down. Booked cabana for daughters birthday. Cabana hostess was friendly but not very motivated to exceed our expectations. Paid $350 for cabana. Had to ask for extra towels. You would think a simple sign welcoming or saying happy birthday would have been nice touch. Why would reservation person ask name of birthday person and age if you aren’t going to use it. After rain storm ordered pizza and beer. Asked for beer now instead of with pizza. It came with pizza 45 min after ordering. Food options dismal as well. Had to order family style of huge portions and expensive pricking . Pizza mediocre. Weird credit card policy too. I had booked with amex and asked if i could put cabana on Disney card and was told no it was Already processed. Gave lady my card for our drinks and food and she never brought it back. Odd. They did make a nice sundae birthday for my daughter.

Vera Wilcox

It is equalled to a beautiful island. Very well organised place with easy access to eating shops and takeaways. Out of this world wave action pool and very nice music in the background. Out of this world young and old enjoying themselves

Sam Ip

A great day out for all ages! The park is very well kept, everything was very clean. The staff I interacted with were very friendly and polite. There are lots of rides and attractions for everyone to enjoy. The rides were enjoyable or scary, the ski lifts to the two tallest rides were a nice touch. There were plenty of beds and chairs but I doubt this would be the case of you were visiting during peak holiday season. I liked the fact that there are many areas that are shaded.

Ayesha Beverland

Out of the 2 disney water parks I preferred blizzard beach. I found it better for younger kids, my little in is 6 and there was plenty for her to do while my husband was able to go and do all the thrill seeking rides leaving me so catch some sun on a well placed sun-lounger before having a sail in the last river. Would advise getting there close to opening time to get a sun lounger.

Jessica Miron

Fun day! Went today with a large group and were provided a private pavillion near the wave pool. Rides were all open and working all day, longest we waited was 20 minutes to get on the Double Dipper. We also were able to bring our own food and drinks with their generous cooler policy. Employees were friendly and attentive. You can easily do all of the rides in a half day, so you can enjoy the lazy river and wave pool the rest of the day.

Candy Mcginley

We had so much fun here!! Not crowded at all. Short wait, if any. Staff was very sweet. We had a group of teenagers, and they joined in our fun

Matt rees

Really enjoyable place but could be a problem if you have mobility issues as there are some serious stairs to one of the best the slides

Rick G

Fantastic park that is great fun for all the family ranging from young kids to adults. A trip not to miss out on and yet again a spotlessly clean and safe park. Opens at ten so get their in plenty of time to get sunbeds.

Pauline Cook

Had a lovely day here. Got there early and the park was virtually empty. Plenty of slides to go on and a really long lazy river with loads of rings to chill out on. Big wave pool and lovely sandy areas with sunbeds to relax in the sun. Well worth a visit. Only negative was the constant piped music which was on a loop and after a while got really annoying....could do with a bit more variety! and lockers could be free as you pay enough with the entrance fee.

Kaleb Camacho

Cool water park with so much to do!!! Well organized, very clean and parking is free.

Tony Johnson

This was my sons favourite Disney park, clean tidy and no queues which was a refreshing change from the other disney attractions with the exception of typhoon lagoon. The water parks dont charge for parking either.
