On the website it says you can’t reserve kayaks so we came over an hour before they send the last kayaks out only to be told they won’t send us out. There is no wind and no harsh weather for the entire day. They really need to update their website if they do not want to let people rent anything after 1:30 and have better customer service at the rental place.

Must go on a boat or snorkeling to have full experience of this National Park. Went snorkeling on a non windy sunny day and went out to Anniversary Reef. If conditions are bad then you might not make it to the reef instead you’ll just snorkel around the main bay. Go on a nice day.

The park is tricky to reach since it's 95% water. However, there are now many boat tours to the various islands and the bay itself. Those trips are well worth it because the park is so beautiful and pristine despite its proximity to Miami.

Marvelous! At least spend a whole day in the park. You definitely need a boat. You can rent one or do a guide tour with companies that you can find online through the park website. Departures and meeting point for the National Park start at the Dante Fascell Visitor Center. Bring the snorkeling gear! So many incredible fishes in those crystal clear waters. The mangrove there is also amazing.

Beautiful national park off the Coast of Miami. With its crystal clear water and beautiful islands, you will not be disappointed. We did the boat ride to Boca Chita Island, well worth it!

The marina at Bay front was excellent, clean and easy to put boat in and out. Water was Great did some fishing cought a few grunts and saw barracudas and a large turtle. Very peaceful .

A beautiful place, preserving one of nature's most important oceanic resources- the coral reef. We took a reef snorkeling tour with a knowledgeable and enthusiastic crew, and saw some amazing sea life, as well as a bonus nurse shark sighting! Highly recommended if you've ever considered snorkeling, or if you're an experienced snorkeler and want to score a great experience.

Another great national park. Be prepared to spend extra to get out on the water to enjoy what this park is all about. There aren't many land based activities. We snorkeled with the Biscayne Institute in the cove and had a good time.

So far this is the best boat ramp on south Miami, always clean and never a long wait time. The little store next to the ramp is ok, but I think they need to have a better way to make sure they have enough live bait always run out early. The restaurant is good a little pricey but good.

Biscayne Bay is a beautiful place to anchor and spend the night on the boat. It’s even better when you time it to a full moon and watch the sunset and the moon rise.

It's a beautiful place with a seafood restaurant near. The scenery is nice. I saw a duck there with a string constricting it. I hope that someone could help them out. But overall it's a nice place to explore.

Very hard to believe the high ratings. Booked a snorkel trip and was lightening and raining. Asked for refund and was told NO because not at least 48 hours in advance. Also they GIVE TICKETS if you go over the 15 mph speed limit. Do not recommend.

This is a great boating park. Multiple beaches and island camping spots. The water is clear throughout the bay system. Great fishing and diving or snorkeling areas, from the boat or even from land. Make sure to bring bug spray, as it is a must for most of the year. Clean and easily maneuverable harbors. Take a day or weekend long trip. This is a must visit!

I always have fun going out on the boat here. It never seems to be super busy, and parking prices are reasonable ($13/day, I believe). There's also small office in the large building behind the restrooms that has fair-priced snacks, drinks and some alcoholic beverages.

So this little corner of Biscayne Bay Park is part of my childhood and I have always nothing here. It's good to see that they have Captain just as beautiful as ever. Don't appreciate people tagging the property or leaving their trash behind but it's obvious that the park is doing their part in the most that they can to keep it clean and safe for everybody. Awesome place with great views and telescopes to view things from a distance. Kayak rentals and tours with paddle boarding. Visitors center too and a restaurant with alcohol and food. We snagged a grill and had a cook out for my girlfriends birthday which was awesome . A great place to add to your timeline.

I took the boat to Boca Chita and explored some of the coastline. Although the park is almost entirely water, you see lots of interesting marine animals and the park is strangely beautiful with all the water.

A clean place and felt safe a would not be nervous if my wife was to go here alone. You can tell the property management company if they use one keeps its nice and kept up. There location was also good and easy to access from car, bike, or on foot. This will be a place we will be using and going to again, with it being safe and lighted up nicely at night time.

Highly recommend taking one of the boat tours seeing as how the park is 95 percent water. We took the one to Boca Chita; the tour gave us information on both the history of the island and the wildlife found in the area. The island was beautiful and contains a lighthouse that was opened for our tour. Loved all of it!

This park is a hidden treasure. I been leaving in south Florida over 20 years and never discovered this amazing place. Main reason was you can only reach it by a 25 min boat ride. At the park we were able to camp over night. Bbq, swimming, explore, snorkel, and climb the historic light house. The ultimate 2 day getaway!!!

We've enjoyed going down to Biscayne bay to practice sailing drills and have a good time. The only thing we don't love are the power boaters who openly hate sailboats and make it their life mission to throw a crazy amount of wake at sailors. I get it, were slow. But there's no need to endanger others by throwing a wake, cutting us off, or running us out of a channel. We're from Canada and can't wait to leave Florida for this reason.

Very nice park! Mostly underwater, so you need to do some type of tour, but it is totally worth it! During the off season we were two of five on a 40-some passenger boat! A bit pricy but you get a tour and all the information you want and need from the rangers and volunteers. Remember bug spray and sunscreen!

It's hard to sum up everything great about this park. If you like clear tropical waters with barrier islands, reefs, etc. you should not miss this place. I love it. Only thing to be aware of is that if you are close to or on land during the warmer months, be prepared for mosquitoes. On Elliot key particularly. So much beautiful near tropical water. Should be seen by boat with snorkeling gear, but there is plenty more.

It's a beautiful location I don't cost anything to walk around and you have boat tours if you sneak out and walk into the water a little tongues a little tadpole looking small fish I mean they're that size they're not tadpoles but until just swim around your legs it's it's a really weird place beautiful very rustic is a ton of people illegally fishing I guess the signs are just there and they don't enforce it because I saw at least a half a dozen people fishing next to no fishing sign not really sure what the deal is with that but they've got RV parking boat ramp I mean it's pretty open

Espectacular! We took the Boca Chita boat tour at 10 am. We love the tour, very interesting the history of the park. Boca Chita is beautifull. You can take your food and lunch there. There is a little beach on the island. We love the lighthouse (without light) and the ride in boat. Very relaxing. We are local and we are planning do more of the park tours.
