Kids rode all afternoon for $24 a piece. The winky whales ride operator was totally awesome. Actually, all the staff was pretty cool. A little annoying that some of food places were cash only, but just a minor issue.

I want to get right to the point so if anyone from Jolly Roger reads this, they can take note:.....IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO ALLOW PEOPLE TO WEAR SHOES OF ANY KIND THEN YOU NEED TO CHOOSE A COLOR OTHER THAN DARK BLUE TO PAINT YOUR WALKWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course I understand that having shoes on could result in damaging the tubes we sit on for the slides and may cause injury, but my son and I nearly singed the bottoms of our feet because in 90+ degree weather, DARK PAINT ABSORBS THE HEAT and makes it nearly...no not "nearly"....IMPOSSIBLE to walk on! We had to constantly find shadows of the railings to walk on, which were about 5 inches wide. There are other areas of the park that are painted with a lighter shade of blue and they REFLECT the heat and are bearable to walk on but the MAJORITY of the walkways and waiting line areas are this dark blue color that are incredibly hot!!!!! Don't any of the supervisors that work there realize that????? This is a SERIOUS HEALTH HAZARD and I can't believe nothing has been done about it yet. Now that that is out of my system, my son and I have been coming down for the past few years to Ocean City and our first stop, even before we check in to our hotel, is to go to the Jolly Roger Water Park. We come on the weekends at the end of June and we usually get there around 11am. We have never had an issue finding a lounge chair to put our belongings, there's never a long line to any of the slides, and we ride all the slides over and over again until we are too tired to do any more. Yes, most of the workers are from out of the country, and perhaps their manners don't match our culture's manners. They pretty much are robots as far as the park's policies go. If a slide says you have to be 100 pounds to ride and you are 99 pounds, they will tell you that you can't ride. You can't fault them for that. If the park rules say you can't wear sunglasses on the slide, then they will tell you that you can't wear sunglasses on the slide. For as much fun as we have there, I think $40 per person is pretty reasonable. Everything is clean there, there's no rowdiness, and the food is reasonably priced. However, be aware that some of the food and drink stands only take cash and there is not an ATM in the waterpark area. I hope my son and I have many years to continue coming to Jolly Roger Water Park, but there MUST BE SOMETHING DONE about the hot floors. Somebody is going to get serious blisters and the park is going to end up on Inside Edition.

Somewhat pricey per hour, but it leads to many rides, with very few people, which means rides can be ridden over and over again. We hit the roller-coaster 5 times straight. The whole family did bumper cars a few times, etc.. They even had a circus show that was up close and personal. Water park is similar, but not pricey at all for an all day pass. Haven't been disappointed with any Jolly Rogers event as long as you pay per hour/time.

Didn't have to wait in line to get on rides. Eat at McDonald's before you go in because the food prices are outrageous. Wish that the employees showed more initiative and motivation. The guy that operates the Barracuda was the only one of the employees that had a positive attitude.

Its a great place to take the family. Something for everyone there. Just wasn't happy with some of the staff, some thought it was funny when I was rear ended very hard in the parking spots for the carts(hurt my back a bit). But i guess what more could you expect with kids running most of the place. There are alot more good staff that make up for the bad ones though.

The park has reasonable pricing, but I had two bad experience with two children in the same day, two of the closed in water rides malfunctioned and my 11 year old granddaughter and my 23 year old son got stuck in the tubes, and had to be rescued. The thought of going away on vacation and almost losing a love one.

Went to fo ride their big monster truck and after paying for it they told us it was closed. The manager was kind enough to refund us since we would not be able to come back another day. Water park was amazing! Clean well managed and very spacious

Prices are typical for an amusement park.. 30 bucks for a wrist band from7-10. Our daughter had a blast, we went back and hot ourselves bands so we could ride on some of the rides with her. She loved the tea pots, the operator there was super sweet. The operator of the whale ride.. was enthusiastic and was awesome, you could tell he enjoyed being there. However, I wasn't expecting the park to look so run down. Took the train ride and there was a ship that we passed that literally had boards laying on the ground with gaping holes. Some rides looked run down. We went upnto ride the ferris wheel, and the operator went to swipe our pass.. and he says, I have no electric..he walks off and says to give him a minute. Needless to say, we did not get on the ferris wheel. The reason for the 4 stars and not three.. is even though it looked a bit rough, our daughter didn't want to leave, she had the best time and we did as well.

I love this place so much less crowded and waiting in line then the peirs and parks in Wildwood or Ocean City, New Jersey. The staff was very friendly and helpful ride's for pretty awesome my only complaint is the owner of the house was not scary at all other than the car we were riding in felt like I was going to fall off the track lol We loved it

We had an awesome day at Splash Mountain at Jolly Roger's. I really like that you can take your own cooler in the water park. Be sure to check the website before going though because you can only take in up to a certain size cooler.

Its great they shot off fireworks on monday night. They have a show twice a week during pique season. Enjoyed by the youngins and the young at heart. The park is nice if you're into carnival like thrill seeking. The games are fun too

The experience was fully of joy. Most of the staff was nice but some of them looked like they hated there job and life and they there just on there phones. The speed world opens at 10 and the water parks dose too but the rides such as roller coasters and ect don’t open till 2 pm. There were a lot of go kart tracks and also a lot of water slides, it was a good experience but could have been better!

I had a bad experience on one of the go cart tracks relating to the speed and reliability of the go carts and the manager told me sorry but I will not do anything about it. I will not return to use any of the go carts in the future and consider using a different establishment.

I actually went to Jolly Rogers Park just to go play Miniature Golf. I looked around the OC area and they seem to have the best course. It also wasnt as crowded than other places. They have more obstacles and seemed a little larger then the ones around the area. As I expected the course was great, except for one thing. I think they could have cleaned up the courses a little better so people have a clean course to play on. I also found that some of the putting mats were all off-key and I had to reset most of them. Other than that it's a great course. They even had courses that were elevated bi-level. 4 stars Jolly Roger.

Nice water park. The lazy lagoon is nice and long. The lines aren't too long just days. Only bathhouse is located at restroom in back of park. Bring big your own food and drink. Food prices really high. Amusement park rides are plentiful. More for the kids than the adults. Ride lines are short.

Nice little park. Reasonably priced. Be aware either get there well before 6pm for unlimited rides. Or wait till 7 for unlimited rides. Don't show up at like 5 cause you'll either waste money for an hour or have to wait till 7. Unless you pay ride with points you can go anytime. Would definitely go again. Kids loved it.

I doubt this place has been renovated since 1960. The water park is border line dangerous. The amount of rust scale and moldy corners is literally out of a movie.

Had a great time with grands....was a little expensive...but that's inflation for you...I use to go with the local hospital every year and several times throughout...it is still a nice place for 5-10 year olds ...also wristbands and points can be used on inlet in OC...the wristbands are cheaper from 2-6 but 25.00 and 7-11 28.00 dollars per child regardless of age. Rides are height restricted and little toddlers would require a parent/adult to ride every ride eligible to ride...also for the wristband it's best to be there fifteen minutes before start time to get full playtime...Oc is still Beautiful and a nice place to unwind and enjoy its surroundings....I love it year round...

If you have kids and you want to wear them out and have a best time day of their lives take them to Jolly Rogers amusement park they have raw hides and a waterpark. My most favorite ride was the heart shaped ones it's goes in circles and you can spend it in circles as well it gets you really really dizzy but make sure you don't eat before you go on it seem like puke because you're going so fast. Yesterday was the last day of Jolly Rogers being open thank goodness I could take my nephew Cameron and sister to have so much fun on the rides and Amusements. We had a blast it was nice but definitely go there again..

Not worth it at all! Do not waste your money super expensive went to 30th and park was all rides for little kids. Took my 9 yr old he had fun but kids any older would probably be bored. There is only little kid rides and games.

Nice place, plenty of room and things to do at Jolly Rogers. I suggest you try the ropes course, my wife loved the experience. I couldn't participate because I'm too fat and exceed the 250 pound weight limit. Highly recommended.

We had a great time, but realistically speaking alot could be done with this park. It's a bit dated, and could use a little updating. Free parking in the front and back. Tickets are overpriced but what amusement park isn't? The circus is like 15 minutes long. The rides don't always work well or last long, depends on the operator. We really go for the gocarts more than anything else, and to be fair I've never visited the water park. Beware of some of the ticket packages, they exclude certain parts of the park/rides. But, we had a good time.

The water park itself is decent with plenty of options for rides and activities. The workers seemed like they would rather be anywhere else, however, but that could also be because everyone is young and would rather do anything over watching a bunch of kids. My biggest gripe is the entry fee - full adult price for a 4.5 year old because he/she exceeds the 42" min. height to get on most of the rides is ridiculous, considering a good number of kids that age are too scared to get on most of those super tall slides.

Don’t go to this place when we were greeted by bratty teens that had attitudes. We bought an evening armband for my kid, she was not tall enough to ride by herself on the carousel and rest of the rides even though it says they can with an adult and the attendant proceeded to tell us they wanted us to pay for an adult to ride with them. No where did it say that we had to do that at the ticket counter or anywhere for that matter. Plus my kid was getting off a ride and was not helped out even though they were the only one riding and fell off and the attendant didn’t even attempt to see if my child was ok or help. Don’t waste your money at this joke of an amusement park.

This place is awesome!!! We had a great time on Friday. Saturday after we paid we were told a group of 5000 was coming. That day in my opinion was way over crowded. It was packed beyond the comfort zone. However it was still good. We just didnt stay as long that day too many people.

I loved the park there were so many thrilling rides and it had me on the edge of my feet the whole time. I was a little disappointed because they wouldn't let me ride the Aqua Loop even though I'm only 6 or 7 pounds off from 100 pounds. Stealth was an amazing ride it was so awesome. I look forward to the Jolly Roger every time I go to Maryland. There’s a good amount of rides and I went on most of them. My favorite one that I went on was the spider man ride. You sit in these carts and you spin around. I also got to go the water park. The water parks has lots of slides and I had a blast! I always look forward to the water coaster and i also like the Mat slide. They also care about the safety of the guests since a thunderstorm was gonna start while I was there and they had the guests evacuate

My six year old and I had a blast here! Tickets can be pricey, but we'll worth the fun value. Try and get a map to navigate to Parks with a little more ease. This way you will be able to use more slides and equipment with greater efficiency. Overall a very good time with plenty of staff to help.

I decided to surprise my family with a trip to Jolly Roger! It was July 20, 2018. We all loaded in the car for a trip down coastal highway. As we entered the park we see a deflated Christmas display. It appeared to be reindeer. The staff all appeared to be under an energy conversation program. Several were slumped over in chairs. We decided to play mini golf. The attendant at the entrance was very difficult to understand but I just paid and we all entered the course. It became quickly apparent that the maintenance of the course needed to be improved. The tee mats were not attached to the grass! Several of the bricks outlining each hole were lose. The biggest problem was the use of shallow plastic based cups in the holes. This caused all four players to have shots go down in the hold and bounce back out!! This added a tremendous degree of difficulty to this course. In spite of being over 100 degrees no water stations anywhere on the course. My future son in law won the match in spite of the difficult conditions. My wife was second even though she played the entire round with a large bag if cotton candy in one hand We had purchased the cotton candy before entering assuming water would be available. On top of it all my daughter saw a sign saying unlimited play. We were so excited to play again but the conditions did not allow it not did the attendant.

Great spot to cool off and have some fun. The park is always clean and well maintained. The staff is pretty friendly and very helpful. It is a good size park, so you can stay entertained for hours. There are concessions as well, so bringing food and drink are not necessary. Lockers are available for valuables. My son and I frequent this park often during the summer and love it!

Have had nice experiences at the park but it is expensive for what is there. But never again will we be going. Decided we would try a reverse day and go to Jolly Roger for the 2-6 armband. The weather was good, mostly sunny and about 81 degrees. Well walking through the park at any given time 3-4 rides in an area were completely unattended. Waited at a few for a few minutes but no one showed up. I get that it is hot and they need a drink every once in a while but they should have roving employees for these purposes. The Heart ride, the jungle climber, the spider and the Happy Swing had no employees at them for 15 minutes at one point. Then you get to the rude employee that didn’t even measure my daughter for the ride that she we waited 20 minutes for and said she can’t go on. Tried to explain that she is barely but definitely over 42 inches. We would never let our children on a ride if they weren’t the proper height. When I tried to explain to the guy that she was over the height requirement and that he didn’t measure her he became belligerent. Extremely disappointing for the price a family of four must pay to ride old rusty rides. Giving two stars because we had good experiences with employees that do their job while also following the rules set forth by the establishment.

Overall the park is pretty good with the exception of no one speaks English and barely understands any either. This review is really about Dustin at the whales ride. He was amazing. He gets into his job and a huge hit with children. He is fully engaged with his ride. I tried to tip but he said to leave a review. He should get a raise as he deserves it!!

Most pleasant employees in the state! Peggy helped us get the most bang for our buck at the entrance. We got the wristbands, which gave us unlimited rides from 7-11 pm. Definitely worth it. Jessie Lynn was SO fun, and we ran into her a few times while waiting for rides. (The wait never exceeded a few minutes.) Howard was very sweet at the entrance to the Ferris wheel, and didn’t even cut us off when we rode it over ten times!

I have been coming to OC for 48 years and never been to JR. We took our six year old to ride go-karts. It was his first time and we were nervous. The staff was spectacular with our son. Can't say enough. We went back the next day to the rides and just as awesome an experience. Randy at the Baracuda ride was awesome with our son. We will take him back on future visits.

Great park for families! We have 4 year old twins and a 7 year old and they all had a blast!! Friendly staff! Cason (he operated the motorcycles) was phenomenal with helping our little girl and high fiving our son! I was very impressed with the staff's patience and positive energy- I made sure to mention to management. We purchased our tix through our hotel for a 30% off discount. Definitely a great park for kiddos!!

Cool park! It is pretty expensive though for what’s there. The water park has a wide variety of slides and food. Some of the workers there were hard to understand though. The main park was empty compared to the water park which was literally jam packed. Overall I enjoyed my experience even though I got on a ride that was too intense and made me too nauseous to continue. Nice park!

We come every year with the kids. There are a lot of good rides for younger kids between 4 and 10. The water park is good for most ages and the go kart track is a lot of fun. Lots to do here for a reasonable amusement park price. Recommend it to all with kids.

Lifeguards were absolutely rude! A storm rolled through and we sat for at least an hour to see if the park would close. The lifeguards RAN through all the customers yelling "go home!!" as we were waiting for the rain to let up so we could leave. They kept chanting this for at least 5 minutes as they made tgeir way through the crowd of customers.

Nice park, clean. however I don't think parents and guardians should have to pay for full admission if they will not be getting on any water rides. I don't mind if they charged $10 to get in but not $80 for my husband and I basically to sit there and watch the kids. They would still make money off of food greedy.

This was the worst mini golf course we ever played. The course was in terrible condition, leaves and debris everywhere and so many of the holes had no tee mat. Imagination of the holes was nonexistent, with 2 themes that repeated for all 18 holes. We would not recommend this place to anyone!

Great fun for both my 10 and 13 year old, although the older one is outgrowing a bunch of the rides. Dustin, who worked the whale ride, was especially kind and accommodating with my special needs son. He engaged every rider, even when he didn't get much in return.

My family and I had a really nice experience at Jolly Roger (only Splash Mountain). Would give 5 stars except for the pricing ($160 for family of 4). The park offers a nice range of water slides, pools and apparatus for all ages. My kids are 9 and 7 and just tall enough to ride all but 1 of the slides. Lines were not too long, about 15 min wait on average for the popular rides. Also whats nice is that it rained at 3:00 PM one day and they offered a rain check to come back any day after 2:45 PM.The staff were friendly and accomodating (front register staff). Lifeguards were on watch, except for 1 kid working the 4-man tube slide, he was a bit rude. We didn't know where to exit the pool and he just kept blowing the whistle in our faces, rather than talk.

Today was the first time I've been back since i was a kid. I had so many fond memories here, and wanted to share them with my little boy. So, myself my husband and Nolan (our son) went. It was amazing! We had great experiences with all of the employees, but one in particular stands out in mind. His name was Rodger( from England, not Australia...ha) he was amazing with our little boy. Smiling from ear to ear and thoroughly enjoyed his job. It's people like him that will make us return. Thank you Rodger!!

DO NOT GO TO THIS (GO KARTS) We went here for our one year anniversary in order to celebrate. After 60$ (which i’m not surprised or upset with the price as the rides were somewhat worth it if they worked properly) only to be treated so rudely. We rode the cyclone first which was fun and we waited in the grand prix line which was long but i wasn’t sure if it was the correct ride not knowing the name of it. So i tried asking a worker where he looked at me and completely ignored me which was extremely rude but when we finally got to formula one (which was so confusing due to the layout of the park) waiting in line there was 5 cars. When it was our turn there was only two functioning cars left a single and two person rider we finished the ride and it was fun. When we realized behind us was a (what is now know as a poorly advertised monster truck ride not knowing we weren’t going to be able to drive it) monster truck we walked up to the counter where the lady took our cards and before we could ask what it was she swiped them. We asked her if we’d be able to drive it and she stated that you only ride it you don’t get to drive it. We were upset bc a ride was wasted on something we didn’t even go on so we asked them if they could put the token back on the card where they said we’d have to go to the booth (which was fine). So we walk to the booth where were greeted very politely and told the young girl our situation and she said she’d have to call a manager over. Okay no problem. A few seconds later a 6’5 tall lady probably early 20s comes out and doesn’t say anything but takes our cards and puts them on there. She hands them back and says i put the token back on the card but we’re not supposed to do this so next time just so you know just because you don’t like something doesn’t mean you can just take it back. I was literally taken aback by the level of disrespect and rudeness that she spoke with so i made kind of a disgusted look on my face where she proceeded to tell me “i see your face but you gotta understand this isn’t us this is kinda jolly rogers next time you should of just asked” like she was justifying the way she just talked to me like i was a child. i told her that i did ask the women but she proceeded to swipe it anyways before we could even discuss it. I am 18 years old and the person i was with was 20 were a lot more mature for our age because we do live on our own so we know what the real world is like, we both work in customer service and know that is no way to talk to a paying customer no matter what age and if that’s how you speak to someone you should be working in customer service anyways. We left without using the extra token because she ruined the whole night and honestly I’d like a refund because quite frankly i don’t want a coupon or whatever because the experience was so terrible that i don’t ever want to go back. We tried calling that night after we left, 5 times and no one answered. we called the next day where we were helped by a really nice lady who said the manager was in the park which was 30 acres but when she’d see him she’d pass the information along She took our names and our phone numbers but still haven’t heard back. WORST EXPERIENCE

My kids had fun. I will start with that. I was really dissappointed in the "great news parents you can ride with your kids sign... Let me explain. Before we purchased points we went around and picked out rides for our girls to go on. The girls are 2 and 4. We then went and purchased points so we could safely go on them all. We were utterly shocked when we were swiped for the adults to go on and supervise the children on the merry go round. Then when we asked we were spoken to like trash and told " nothing is free and everyone needs to pay". This park is clean and maintained their policy however should be clearly stated and the workers should be more kind. Bring alot of money. If you have little ones bring even more and be prepared to pay for that thrilling tcup ride or merry go round rush. No freeloaders permitted.

The ticket and card system was a bit strange but other than that this place was extremely fun for the kiddos and the entire family! Many options for kids who are into (and not into) certain things, and plenty of options for parents to join in and still genuinely enjoy some good rides.

A lot of fun ,clean, helpful staff. Waterpark is amazing with some extreme tubes and The Stealth is crazy!!!! Lots for everyone! Very family friendly :). Speedworld was overpriced but amusement park, water park and mini golf well worth it!!!!!!!!!! Coupons on line! Morning and after 4 best times. Minimal wait on large tubes.

Great value for families, recommend it highly, used to go to Trimper's, prices higher, less rides for 3 to 7 year olds. Did pier combined with Jolly for best deal, ends with 18 holes of golf

Crowded during the day, we got 2 hours of go karts, it's exoensive, and the service was loose on the rules ex. 3 minutes no bumping people bumped and we were on for 6 minutes

I like the park, but we have a two year old and he can’t go on any of the rides without an adult. Also they need a new slide for the mirror fun house, I ended up getting burned on my knees and foot because the metal is showing. Be carful.

Went to the water park with my wife and kids, and we all had a blast. It's a huge place with plenty of seats and covered areas and room to move around. Only gripe I have is that during the day it's $40 a pop for anyone over 42" tall. Although kids 2 and under get in free, so that's nice.

An Ocean City classic. Man have they built this place up since last I've been here, its like a fo real amuzement park now. The water park is legit and the go garts are fun as hell to ride. The last time I visited here it was one step above a traveling carnival show but now its had some major updates and is like visiting a real amusement park. Nice job!

This place was a lot of fun to be able to spend 2 hours riding on different go kart tracks. The one thing that bothers me the most & I find disgusted with is that having children under the age & height that they cannot drive & have to be passenger, is too expensive!! It should be free for children under 5 years old!

We went to splash mountain water park. It’s a lot of fun, and plenty of slides and such to go on. There is a lot of sitting room for everyone to enjoy sun. The prices are a bit expensive, but I’m sure the operating cost is very high for a place as such as well. You won’t be disappointed with your visit!
