This was our first escape room experience. It was fun, but difficult. We did the Walkers room, which apparently is their hardest. We would definitely do this again.

We had a fun time locked in the Lost City. The room was challenging but we somehow escaped without actually solving all the puzzles (I'm still perplexed by that). The staff willingly gave us clues throughout the entire game which is an obvious reason we got out. If you're a newbie and don't mind being walked through the entire game via clues sent on the TV, then this is the place for you. I think that the clues our game master gave us could have been more "coded" and less direct.

This place is VERY underwhelming. Keep in mind- I have been to escape rooms across the country in different cities every time I travel and this location ranks lowest on my list. I payed for the zombie escape room and what I experienced was just spray painting on the wall and several combination locks with no sense of direction or hints that do NOT correlate with each other. please DO NOT waste your money if you actually want an enjoyable SOLVABLE experience. The escape rooms in Brooklyn nyc, ocean city md and even Philadelphia are the same pricing and don’t even compare to this “escape room”. I have been to escape rooms in Las Vegas.. Other escape places have multiple rooms that unlock to each other- REAL props, background music, realistic decor to where you feel fully immersed in your atmosphere, crawl spaces, jump scares, puzzles that AREN’t solely locks!!! Hidden writing with black lights, things you can dig through- take off the walls, hidden doorways etc. Apart from my experience, The staff was friendly, there is limited parking and I think this place of business for this area is a monopoly (obviously)- and that’s why it flourishes. This place is good for this small town folk.. but in comparison to major cities (it’s a joke).

Very fun with group of friends. First time in escape room for all of us. Staff is very friendly. We had hit the pub before we went, but the staff was very patient and professional. Did walkers room. Only complaint is, that particular room was small, and some clues were unsolvable without more info than what was originally given so you had to ask for a hint. I guess that's part of it? We wanted to go again immediately but they closed in fifteen minutes. Definitely will do again.

So I can't really speak to the experience of this place, which I'm sure is fine, but I can say that whoever drives the little red car with the Great Escape logos on it, and the NY sticker on the back, should probably consider looking into some defensive driver courses. He may have been having a bad morning or something, but this dude was riding my bumper as I was going 50 in a 35 trying to get him off of me. And practically flipping me off as I slowed down VERY slightly in a construction zone. When he finally passed me, he glared at me like he had lasers coming out of his eyes. Then he proceeded to pass me and go at least 60 dodging in and out of other cars. Not positive I wanna even TRY this place if all the employees act like that, just sayin'.

The BEST escape rooms by far. The themeing alone is worth seeing, and is honestly convincing enough that you do lose yourself in the decor because you're looking for the element that breaks the spell (heads up, their isn't one). I HIGHLY recommend the lost city room for beginners, and the wizard world or walking dead rooms for a bit more of a challenge. I've done 4 of their rooms so far and every single experience has been no less than fantastic.

We followed the footsteps of Dr. Quindiana Jones in the Lost City! We discovered clue after clue and escaped one room. We searched for clues in the second room and escaped before we were lost forever in the Lost City. Great Escape Delaware will challenge you and your party. What a fun way to enjoy your day while you race the ticking clock.

We did the room called lost City and we had problems. They forgot to put a key in the room and we jumped ahead of puzzles, next one of the boxes would not open and was jammed closed, then in one part of the room the wires wouldn't connect right because it was loose with the board/sensor underneath. I've done escape rooms all over the place, and for, the over $100 I spent on four people, you would think that the room would be in working order. I will not go back here as Axxiom escape rooms are 5 mins away and better, and if you have did all of them already Middletown has Novus to try.... Don't waste your money here, things are broken, and you have been warned! They get 2 stars because the staff is good people though.
