REVIEWS OF Dutch Wonderland IN Delaware

SO satisfied with our visit. We had children ranging from 2-13 years of age. They all had a blast. The park is so family and kid friendly. All of the workers were super polite and cheerful (which anyone knows can be challenging working in customer service). The park is smaller, but that’s okay because you get to see everything while there for a day. Overall very pleased...we will be back!

Michael Meinl

Really great park for kids between 3 - 8. We initially went with a 2 year old and it was a good time, but it was a little overwhelming for him. As a 4 year old he had a blast. We were there for 7 hours and he still didn't want to leave. Haven't tried the water park yet but it looks awesome. Only down side is food prices are high, but what you'd expect at an amusement park.

Dutch Wonderland is great for little kids and it was everything I remembered from my childhood and more. My little ones loved it and even my 3 year old was able to ride most of the rides. If you only have teens or just adults going there are better places for big thrills, but this place is fun for the while family.

Reginald Blue

Took my 3 year old son here. He had a great time. The staff/ride operators were pleasant and were very helpful and attentive. The park was clean and well maintained. The entry price was reasonable. I have mixed feelings about the "premium parking", but it was worth it for helping with our 3 year old.

Mandy Schell

So many things for the whole family to do from 1 years old and up too! Food is great too. Bathrooms are easy to find. Workers are helpful and knowledgeable in what they are doing. The park is safe and clean. On the hotter days, there is a small waterpark section that can cool you off. This is clean as well and it has something for all ages.

Laura Traylor

My grandchildren and I had a wonderful time. We found the majority of the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. This was my first time here and I'm already making plans to return with more grandchildren. I would highly recommend coming here, especially with children under the age of 12. That appears to be the target group and it is absolutely wonderful that someone has completed this targeting the younger kids. Loved it.

Brandon Lee

Great for a quick day trip, and not too expensive. Have been going here since I was a kid and now bring my children. Great ride options for kids young and old and now they have a nice little water park to cool off in during the hot summer days. Close to many great food options and outlet shopping too!

Scott Doerrman

It's a nice, small park, but not too small. Perfect for little legs. Great shows and entertainment for the whole family. I recommended the diving shows in particular.

I really enjoyed the time here with my family. The shows they put on we're enjoyed by my young kids. The rides are appropriate for young kids (mine are 4 and 7 at the time of the visit) and felt safe. Prices are high to get in, as are concession costs.

Alanna Krumins

Park is great, our 4 year old can do every ride she wants to. Super hot out today and half of the splash park is out of order and it's the half with all the slides. Very disappointing!! Also, the house that spins around while you sit inside, one of the original attractions and my personal old school favorite is still broken. It was broken last year too, guess it's not getting fixed. Great small park but please make timely repairs!!!

Emma Huynh

Dutch wonderland is great for the younger kids. There wasn't as much for older kids but we did miss out on trying many of the bigger rides because it rained. They were great about giving us complimentary rain tickets though! Food is rather expensive but they have a picnic area outside the park where you can eat and then go back in.

Nancy Kost

Great for families and kids probably up to about 12 years or so. We took our younger grandchildren and they had a blast! They can't wait to go back! Several places to eat and the food was good.

This park is so clean and well manicured. The is a magical place for children with characters walking around, animals (including dinosaurs) and fun shows. It is the perfect place for a family outing.

Amit Goyal

If you have a toddler, this is a better theme park than any other. Not crowded and no huge queues. They are not trying to oversell. Perfect for kids!

alan macfarlane

It's great here. A couple of small things could be done to improve. 1. The black water slide was closed but there was nothing informing of this until you were near the top. The queue for that slide was much smaller. People who went in that queue ended up jumping in front of pet in the blue queue who had been waiting s long time. Maybe just close the black slide at the bottom of the stairs.

Jennifer Birchem

We had a wonderful time. Great for smaller children. Lots of rides and the water park was great. Food is expensive.

DocMalk

I love taking the kids here. We have a membership and it's worth every penny. My 4 kids ages 3-10 have the time of there lives. The rides are the perfect size for them. Only thing that needs improvement is the food quality in the cafeteria. It's like school lunch but for the price of a 5 star restaurant.

This place is AWESOME! It's Hershey Park for the little ones. I say that because here it's all about them, not us grown-ups. It's not a huge Park, but it is bigger than it looks from the road. No achy feet from too much walking from place to place, but maybe from chasing your kids. Depending on your kids age I doubt there will be much they can't do. Be it alone or with a companion. I'd say 2 years old at least and you're good to go. There's even a little splash zone, water area to cool off after you've hit the rides.

saravanan gobi

Great place for small kids.. My kid is 5 years and able to go 99% of the rides

Kelly Reyes

Dutch Wonderland is PERFECT if you have young children (2-11). When your kids are too young for Six Flags but love theme parks, Dutch Wonderland is for you. This is our third summer visiting and the park is wonderful. It's never too crowded, it's clean, the staff is friendly and best of all- the wait times for the rides are never too long. I couldn't imagine waiting for 30+ with young children at other more crowded theme parks. There is also a splash pad when you need to cool off (bring water shoes for certain slides in the splash area!). We're thinking of visiting again before the summer is out, the kids are begging to go!

M Jeff Castillo

Good place to bring the little ones for some fun.. water park area is a bit small can get crowded at times.. staff are great

Patrick Farmer

I hadn't been here since I was a child, and we recently took our 3 year old for the day. It was just as awesome as I remember, and I know she will have fond memories of that day and future visits. The food is garbage and overpriced, but that really doesn't affect my opinion of the park; it's a great place for families!

Penny Gamble

Great time with my grand babies! Season passes are reasonable. Never a long wait fir a ride, even when there are lots of people. Great learning spots through out the park!

Yvonne

Dutch Wonderland is always I great time, especially for small children. We went when they opened, on a Sunday, and the lines weren't bad at all. We started at Dukes Lagoon to ensure we had a spot in the shade. I would skip the monorail and gondola rides on very hot days, as the wait can be long and the monorail has no air or fans, and the gondola is in the sun most the time. My daughter who is 3, enjoys all the rides. It's definitely a full day of fun.

Mike Debro

Great place to bring your kids! The staff is great and very accommodating. We will definitely be coming back

Brian Andreychek

Great place for the kids! This place had changed a ton soccer I was as kid. Once it was a pay as you go place, but that is long gone. Now, one fee gets your in to everything. Pro-tip: avoid the lockers and don't be afraid to go back to your car for things. It's not a long walk. We always bring lunch and eat in the pavilion outside the park. We also come in suits to avoid changing in the park. Do be sure to get there at opening, as the park gets crowded. You can knock a lot of good rides out then. You can probably also skip the farthest end of the park. Not much down there except for the old time cars which always have a ridiculously long line. Skip it and go somewhere else.

Richard K

If you have young kids, it's a fun day. I'd say past the age of 10 it loses its luster

Kathy Lee Chandler

Friendly staff. So many areas to enjoy yet so many of the older memories were untouched. The pretzel, the car on the track, the house that makes you dizzy. My special needs son rode his first roller coaster Saturday, What a great new memory. Lol

Rachel G

Food review first! For the overpriced theme park food, at least the chicken tenders tasted good and the fries were amazing and plentiful. It seems like for every bigger kid ride there is a little kid ride next to it which was nice for my two different ages kids. The park isn't huge and we went on a Saturday and it wasn't insanely crowded. There are only 2 big rides so def for the younger crowd

Surya Narayana Murthi Duggirala

It is wonderful place for all. Especially, kids will love it. The visit will be an unforgettable experience. I recommend a visit with family and friends a must in one's life time.

Victor Unson

Our 1st time here. It is a wonderful place for our grandkids to enjoy. Very beautiful place to go by. See you there folks.

Kathy Dennis

A great place to visit with my little nephew. This is an amusement park that caters to everyone of any age, not just young ones only. While I believe that the price of admission could be a little more reasonable, we certainly do get our money worth from each and every visit.

Erin Fisher

Lots of rides for kids. Mine are 5 & 8, they could get on lots of rides by themselves!!! There are shady spots and a water play spot to cool off at. You can buy suits there, which I didn't realize until after my kids got their clothes soaked. There are shows, snack spots, pony rides (extra cost $8.50), and games (extra costs) too.

Kara ann Naimoli

The water area my son just no loved. The women who where watching the slides did a great job making sure the kids took their turns. Definitely coming back

Jonathan Hawkins

Kids love it. The only issue we experienced was a lot of rides were not open and no one had an explanation. Food is good, but expensive. Lots of games and shows to help break up the day. Rides move fast and helps with keeping the kids happy in lithe lines. Parking ranges from 5-15 bucks and not much of a difference if you pay the $15. Great place overall except for the ride closures.

Devian Robotic

I used to get family season passes every year. No more. Prices have doubled in under ten years if you compare ticket increases and now charges for parking. That is comparable to a full size park like Hershey which has alot more to offer. There isn't much for older children and families at this park to justify this price. Occupying a full day would require repeat rides. Food is off the scale expensive. Customer service is not what is used to be under previous ownership (any of them). There are better ways to throw away money in the area.

Mollie Paul

The kids had a blast!! Souvenirs were cheaper then I expected. The place was clean and not to crowded.

Kristen M

Great place for kids. My daughter and her bestfriend had a blast.

Ann smith-reiser

A great place for the elementary set! Great mix of rides and shows for all. The water slide and splash park are also great. The park is well cared for and there is a nice mix of sun and shady spots.

Shawn Fisher

Great for kids. Definitely take advantage of the free preview evening, by 5:30pm most rides have no lines! Good food options that are not fried. Water area is chaos but kids loved it, hope they build another slide for big kids soon.

Heidi Behan

Always a wonderful place for kids - so delightful and entertaining! They have even added a new, more exciting roller coaster to keep the interest of thrill seekers. Our kids range in age from 9-16 and they all still love to go!

Joan Sorrell

Well done! Clean with lots of shade. No big lines today. Lots to do and loads of fun

Melody Loomis

This place is great for kids but like most amusement parks, overpriced for adults. At $45 a ticket, the adults are spending their time taking pictures for a high price. The park also lacks trees and shade for hot days. The toys are junk at a very high price. Some of the games are fun because they allow a kid to win a prize every time which kids need to feel affirmed in that environment. I hate explaining why we cannot leave with the stuffed animal they want at a carnival haha. The rides are very fun for kids. We make this trip an annual tradition for our family.

Ken Fitzgerald

A great collection of children's rides and fun shows. Clean, family friendly, economical, but not flawless. Only two boats running despite huge line for the gondolas. The lines for rides would be shorter if the loading and unloading process was more streamlined and better facilitated by staff. Some rides definitely need more cars running to increase efficiency. The concession staff through the park are friendly but *really* slow. In some cases there wasn't a clear reason. Other times it seemed they were not suffiently trained for their jobs (no clue as to how to use the register). Given that these were all kids in these roles (I'm assuming summer jobs) it seems more than a little odd they haven't hit their stride by September. Or maybe it's summer burn out... not sure. This needs improvement though. It's no fun waiting that long for simple food. The line for the Mayhem roller coaster is for and stifling due to the high walls. Rough to wait in. The guy who runs this is fantastic. Truly great ride!

Michelle Harvey Curtis

Awesome experience!!! We really enjoyed our first visit and will definitely be returning. This park is great for all ages. The staff are extremely helpful and nice as well as the other families in the park. Plenty of benches and shade.

Jamaal S.

Great place for kids, affordable, not usually crowded, and good for toddlers too! We really enjoy this place and would recommend going here!

Reyna Cramer

Great place for kids! So many rides no matter how big are small. The staff is friendly and helpful. Food is good although a little pricey

L. Tantillo

There are many rides to go on and their food is super good. The restaurants have good service and really good food. I really reccomend this amusement park as a place for kids.

Becky Magill

I'd never been here before. This isn't like most parks! Family friendly, doesn't smell like cigarettes, clean, the bathrooms are really well taken care of, most rides are appropriate for most sized children. Honestly, this place is great and next year, we might get season passes!

Jung Ji

It looked much bigger from their website but it was really small for an amusement park. It is way over priced to charge over $40 per person for such a small park. Also I went on a weekday to avoid long lines and it was also a rainy day and there wasnt much crowd but some of the rides are so poorly run I still had to wait 20-30 minutes. They need to work on running it more efficiently. Also food is way over priced. $8 just for fries.

Kate Jacobson

All day fun for the 2 and 6 year old. They closed the part of the water park the 6 year old would have liked best. They have a lot of rides for the really little kids and a couple bigger kid coasters but only one coaster my 2 year old could ride which was a bit of a bummer. Food was decent.

Jennifer Bivens

The kids enjoyed it but the park looks like it hasn't been updated in forever.

Jerome Vadakin

Good times, especially for the younger kids. Not much for older kids, but there are so many other parks geared more for them. This was a nice change.

Matthew Raia

Great place for kids, all ages, good variety of food, sorry I missed the brisket at the BBQ shack, I hear it's amazing. Very clean park, people constantly walking around and cleaning. Definitely will go back

Matthew Parrish

I went there as a child with my brother, super fantastic for a child 4-10. Hot in July, you can bring a lunch, there are picnic tables outside the gate on food or drinks cannot be brought in. 2 hours lunch 2 hours and go home. Grand children slept on the way home the perfect day they rode what ever they wanted so many times.

Sarah Nasta

This is a really good place to bring kids 10 and under. There are a lot of rides that aren't too scary, and other activities for young and old. Prices are good, food's decent. And it's not so huge you're walking around forever.

Matt Reese

This really is a great place for kids. It is just the right size so you will not need to do a ton of walking. It is never that crowded, and has plenty of rides. The new yellow roller coaster is surprisingly decent for both kids and adults. My 3 year old daughter was tall enough to ride it, and my 6 year old rode it about 10 times. Overall I highly recommend this park for young children.

Michaela Lockwood

First time coming and me and my children had a blast ! Look forward to the next time we can visit !!

Nicole Holman

Loved it, perfect amusement park for age 2-6. Perfect walking size, great rides! We packed our lunch per recommendations from other reviewers and I'm glad we did bc there's a cute pavilion right outside the entrance and it was a well needed break for everyone before heading to the water park. Would have been nice if there was a wading pool (Sesame Place has one) but adults could cool off under the palm tress with water coming out. Will definitely go back!

Emily Kubat

Great family amusement park! We stayed from open until close and it had enough rides to keep my 3 kids (ages 3, 5, and 7) having fun all day. The lines were not excessively long, and there is no fast pass for people to cut to the beginning of the line if they pay more (like at a lot of other places). The food was better than most other amusement parks that we have been to for a similar price. Highly recommend this place for young families!

Kurt Thompson

I grew up going here and have been a regular customer of Dutch Wonderland since I had children of my own. The kids love it, and beg to go back. The prices have risen drastically in the last few years, but if you have an open schedule in the summer, a season pass works out to be a decent deal. I do/have recommended this place to people with children under 12, though it is most fitting for the 3-10 year old range.

amanda eagleston

We absolutely LOVED our visit to Dutch Wonderland! My almost 2 year old enjoyed all the rides and the dinosaurs. I was surprised he was able to go on so much. It's a great place for the little ones and family. There was a good amount of shaded area's which was great for a hot summer day. I'd highly recommend that you go! I can't wait to go in the fall!!

Lisa Abate

Tons of fun. Everyone was helpful. The process for a special needs child was very easy and made the day so much less stressful. There's so much to do that it is almost impossible to get it all done in one day!

Anthony Bono

Cool place for the kids. Rides not bad at all. Not crowded at all no long lines at all.

Angee R

My entire family had a great time! The staff was friendly and there were plenty of rides for my 3 & 5 yr old. The new stand up roller coaster was cute for the adults.

Nancy Abbott

Wonderful place for families with small children. Dress comfortable and be prepared to walk and wait. Granddaughter had a blast.

Dave Parrott

Good place for little kids. Rides are nice. Food is good and reasonably priced when compared with other parks/venues. Crowds are not too bad either.

Ian Livensparger

Dutch Wonderland was an incredible place to take our kids they had a blast, we had a very nice memorable time there. Anyone with young kids should go have themselves a good family time here, it's really great. Our girls are still asking sometimes about when the next time we go back will be.

Richard Williams

Such a fun place . I hadn’t been in years and seriously didn’t remember it being as big. The added water park was a nice ending to an amazing day with my 3 awesome grands.

Al Dunn III

Lots of fun. Friendly park employees. The little kid rides had no wait and my 2 1/2 year old son loved it. Plenty of rides for a young kid. The water park park is great for young kids not to much for older kids or adults but still alot of fun.

Felicia Rodgers

Loved it and so did my son. A nice size amusement park for toddlers. It's not too big or overwhelming, just the right size for them to enjoy it

Scott Schwartz

Although kids had fun, I was disappointed with how this place is run. Not enough staffing on rides. The big roller coaster had one car for a 40 seconds ride. It took 6 minutes to turn it around for the next ride. There are 2 people working. No one gets next people ready. The line moves super slow. Same for other rides. For a little over double the price, you can go to Disneyworld.

David

Great place for young kids which most theme parks are not. Our two toddler girls loved it and want to go back. Only complaint was that the burger we bought by the water park didn't taste that good.

Stephen Fox

Family friendly. Little too crowded last time. Small park that needs a light crowd, not much room to serve a large gaggle. Dive performances are a real treat. All the rides are well done for the age group. Water park was a zoo and becomes a headache keeping track of kids. Food is mediocre and typically high prices like the bigger parks.

Jen nock

It's such a fun place to take a 5yr old and 12yr old!! We had so much fun my little one was about to get on EVERY ride!! She road her first rollercoaster and LOVED IT!! My family of four gives this place a thumbs up

Saafiyah Abdul-aleem

Dutch Wonderland is awesome!!!

Neil Alexander Etter

Perfect entertainment for the younger kids and the young at heart. Food selection and pricing are fair and satisfying. The season passes packages are very good and worth every dollar.

Ron S

Let me start this off right. I've been to awesome parks. This one isn't for adults. It's for the 4 ish and up. Definitely geared towards kids. My kids had a blast and they didn't even get to enjoy the splash park. Sure some of the stuff is outdated by 30 yrs (the rocket ship rides) remember this though, those rides had some air-conditioning. Was the food and drink over priced? Yea but that's to be expected. The park was clean, the bathrooms were clean, the staff was friendly. Sure the staff was young. Do you expect college grads working here or someone needing to provide for their family? It's a summer job for the most part. The shows were entertaining and was a good break in the shade to give the kids a cool down period. Overall it's a good family experience. I'll be back again.

Sarah Petri

Enjoyed it. Haven't been in several years. Always a good mix of tradition and new. New roller coaster and waterpark, Duke's Lagoon, made everyone happy. More than a few rides/activities closed due to heat, though. I know heatwaves are rare, but wish they had a discount for the shutdown rides.

Michele Dennison

Great place to go with little ones or if you have children of mixed ages. Something for everyone with the rides, shows, and water park.

Todd Seibert

Perfect place for toddlers and plenty of shaded areas on hot sunny days. We have a 3 and 4yr old girls and we lasted 7 hours, couldn't believe it!!!

Stefanie Anszis

Visited this place as a kid, and take my two young children (6 and 4) here now -- this is our first year as season pass holders, and it has been worth every penny. The park staff is very friendly and helpful, and there is great selection of rides without being too overwhelming for little ones. You can easily make an overnight trip out of this splitting the water park and amusement rides between two days. We love it here!

Justin Rosenzweig

Great amusement park for young kids. Lines for rides are usually short, there's also a performance stage, pony ride and a animatronic dinosaur section. Recommend for families with kids 10 and under. Older kids will have fun but would probably enjoy scarier rides at Hershey.

Jarod Quant

Really happy with the variety of rides available for such a relatively small park. Lots of entertainment for a crew of 5 kids ranging from 3 to 9. Lines were none to very short so no whining about standing around. Laid out very well.

John

Travelled here from NYC, absolutely loved it! Went for our 3 year old daughters birthday. Amazing park, not packed like other places and absolutely spotless. Stayed at a guest house in Gap, PA living among the farms was a fantastic weekend

Alex Kogan

The park is a little out of the way from Phila but it is worth the drive. It is mostly targeted at younger kids but there are some adult rides as well. My 4 year old loved it and so did we.

Erin Paradis

Overpriced for how outdated it is. A lot of the rides are very old and underwhelming. Unimpressive food selections. You're not allowed to bring in any outside food, which is inconvenient given the fact it's geared towards children, and we all know how kids need snacks to stay happy and energetic.

Olayinka Credle

I have a 7, 4, and 2 year old. They all love it. Great for small kids. Even my Goddaughter who is 15 years old likes to go with us on occasion. We have season passes since we live just 15 mins away. We always go when it's not crowded and eat before we go (or bring our food and eat at the picnic tables) so we are able to avoid the overpriced food inside the park. Overall, I say we really get the bang for our buck. Especially since we can use it for 6 months. (summer, fall, and winter). Only downside is how small it is(from my adult eyes). and how pricey it is in general-- especially because it's not as fancy as the newer parks so they really should be cheaper.

Vanessa Maldonado

Excellent park for small kids. Has a waterpark, lots of places for snacks and places to eat. Will definitely return. Parents will have fun two!

Kurt Thompson

I grew up going here and have been a regular customer of Dutch Wonderland since I had children of my own. The kids love it, and beg to go back. The prices have risen drastically in the last few years, but if you have an open schedule in the summer, a season pass works out to be a decent deal. Jack Hammer

Was great for young kids. Just enough stimulation for a day of fun. Clean and friendly park.

Leonard Martin

Great place for kids. My children couldn't get enough of the rides. Plus the train ride and various small games.

Jackie Howard

My girls loved it. Such a great place. It was amazing. Definitely going back in the future.

Alvin Dixon

The campsite was very nice to visit will go back there again.

Mike Gambone

First visit but we loved it! Will definitely be going back again. Daughter had a great time.

Anna Want

Had a wonderful time at Dutch Wonderland today. Family of five with a 6, 4, and 9 month old. The 6 and 4 years loved Merlin's mayhem (great coaster!), rocket launcher, and the sky glider rides as their top 3. None of us cared for Twister, we all got off it feeling a bit nauseous. Food prices were actually really affordable compared to other amusement parks. Very clean. We were pretty surprised that it wasn't too busy for a Friday in the summer with great weather. Decent shade with benches thru out. Wait times minimal and if there were waits it was more the fault of operators moving super slow to load and unload guests. The operators do need to work on this and be more efficient. We did all the rides and rode several multiple times in about 5 hours. We did not visit the water park this time around. That definitely seemed busier then the amusement park side probably because of the heat. But overall, I think its a great park for kids 10 and under. Would rather go here then a carnival or county fair, equipment looked much safer!

downingtownryan

Kids love this place and the season passes are not bad if you can make it 2 or 3 times a year. Can get cro3but the park usually is still not too bad.

N S

Awesome time with the family. Its geared more towards children under 13. We took our kids here and they loved it! We can't wait to go back!

Nicholas A. Jr. Daddona

Amazing for kids under 10. TIP: go at 5:30 buy tickets to get next day free. Plus after 5:30 place is empty, get on rides right away

Scott Ringkamp

Dutch wonderland is exactly what it is advertised as - an amusement park for kids. Our 3 year old had so much fun he didn't want to leave. He ended up riding on pretty much everything he was allowed to go on. He did the giant slide at least 10 times with many different family members. We also appreciated the cooled food locations at each end of the park. The size of the park was great because our kids could easily walk from one end to another quickly. The park was also not too busy and we never felt like we were being crowded out.

Charles Tew jr

If you have kids they will love this place. I rarely give 5 stars but this place earns every star. My grandkids had the best time......

amanda eagleston

We absolutely LOVED our visit to Dutch Wonderland! My almost 2 year old enjoyed all the rides and the dinosaurs. I was surprised he was able to go on so much. It's a great place for the little ones and family. There was a good amount of shaded area's which was great for a hot summer day. I'd highly recommend that you go! I can't wait to go in the fall!!

Jada Rojas

Its great for small children but if you have a kid under the age of two they are very limited to rides which is why it makes sense since 2 and under is free but if you have two kids one being over that age and one being under then that would work out as well. Another recommendation to is that make sure your kids are able to deal with you not being able to go on some ride. I've had parents come in before and get agitated because there kids won't go on any rides without them or even when the kids are not allowed to sit next to the parents (I'm a ride operator). This park is pricey on food, for lunch I would just say pack food in a cooler and eat in the trunk or go over to the grass area to eat. In less you don't mind spending a lot of money. So in all its a great park for kids or even if you have older kids that don't really like roller coasters but pricey on food, and really good ice cream with Doles pineapple ice cream only one in Pennsylvania.

Always a great time for my daughter. Enough to do, usually wait times aren't too bad. Every time we go, its always a great time!

Lisa Abate

Tons of fun. Everyone was helpful. The process for a special needs child was very easy and made the day so much less stressful. There's so much to do that it is almost impossible to get it all done in one day!

Lauren Garcia

An amazing place for toddlers! My 2 year old couldn't go on many rides but my 4 year old was able to really enjoy it. Over the 36' inch mark is the perfect height. Ended up buying a season pass!

Jimmy M

Great for kids maybe 10 and under. My kids had a blast. It was smaller than I expected but that actually made it easier.

vy pham

It is very kids friendly. Rides are shorter to accommodate guests and to ensure kids are not traumatized by fear. Your kids should be at least 2 or older.

Melissa Atley

My children absolutely love Dutch Wonderland. The memories made here are priceless. This is one of the very few amusement parks in the country that focuses on children.

Hadeer

Too expensive for what it is. The rides are too short and the park is small. I think a pay-per-ride system would be more appropriate for this park instead of paying $45. Most of the restaurants close about an hour and a half before the park closes. It feels like the park is basically telling us to leave. Complete rip off! Won't come back

Lula Lelo

My kids had so much fun! This place caters to younger children. If your looking for more thrilling rides. This isnt it. My kids are 5 and 6. And they love it!

Mary Johnson

Perfect place for kids. The lines for the rides are never long. The employees are very polite. The prices are reasonable.

Frederick J. Hauf, Jr.

"Brewster's Bar-B_Que" Cheers to the girls with the exceptional service going above what the park's own employees would not!

I hate it when people say this place is for little kids! The newest ride which was added last summer is a huge hits for all ages! Even if you are visiting as a parent, you have a fun time seeing your kid(s) having a fun time. Plus, people complain about the workers and how some of them are handicapped... I think this is a great thing (the workers, not the complaining)! This place is offering jobs for people who aren't normally offered jobs. And, not all the workers are rude or disrespectful. Along with other complaints, price is the biggest thing to talk about with the antis. If you were to get a season pass, it would be the price of one trip for many trips! So much more beneficial is you plan on visiting more than once! So much more to complain about with the customers, but I should keep my mouth shut. I would love to visit this place more often!

Gerald Donlon

This is the best place for kids of all ages. There is definitely something for everyone. And the Preview Night with the cost of the ticket is great. A lot of value for your dollar.

Aron Schnur

This place is completely overpriced for what it offers. Even with buying tickets online for a "smart day," they were not much less than the cost at the gate due to "processing fees," so we spent around $200 for a family of five. (BTW, the line to get in to the park was the same length whether or not you already had tickets.) We spent around $20 more total for discounted tickets to Hershey Park, which was less overcrowded compared with DW, and had far more impressive rides for all ages (not just older kids, as some might have you believe). Absolutely overwhelming lines for all of the remotely interesting rides, most of which were not sheltered from the hot sun (unlike most theme parks at this price point). My biggest issue is that half of the splash park area was closed virtually the entire day we went (8/22) because a child had a toileting accident in the morning. This was the area with water slides and the like that my kids looked forward to the most based on past visits, and without it the park is an utter joke in terms of what it offers. You would think that a kid having a toileting accident is not the most uncommon thing in the world, and should not result in a complete 8 hour closure absent the Ebola virus! They could have their act together sufficiently for maintenance to remedy the problem within 2 or 3 hours tops. But it is evident that they are cheap and woefully understaffed, trying to get away with as little labor as possible. Then when I complained on my way out, I was only offered a 50% off voucher off my next visit by both the lower level staffer and her supervisor -- right, because I really want to spend $100 instead of $200 on this place and waste another future precious family vacation day. So congratulations DW, you've lost us to Hershey Park and we'll just give our 50% off passes to someone who doesn't realize that you are just living off a reputation at this point.

Matthew Landes

Great park for young children. Staff is friendly and concerned with children's safety. Band and characters positively engage with children.

Jamarr Brightful

For a kids amusement park it’s alright can’t even lie. They have rides and roller coasters for all children sizes. The water park was nice, wish it was bigger. The food isn’t bad either, it’s better than Sesame Place and the pizza is Bette than Chuckie E Cheese. My only issue was I still had was my ticket for admission was the same as my 3 year old sons. But overall we had a good time as a family and probably will come back again. ✊

William Middlestadt

Just OK. Have been here a few times and it's usually never crowded. Fine for small children and not super pricey. Needs an update, but all in all enjoyable

Abbie Snyder

Super clean, very family friendly, staff is very polite and professional. The nursing mothers station was a bonus for me this year as I had a 3 month old. The mothers nursing station is air conditioned, clean changing tables, rocking chairs, privacy curtains and a nice sink. It is so thoughtful on the park's part to have that for nursing mothers.

Cynthia Crabb

One of the best kid amusement parks. Clean, rides aren't too spaced apart, good amount of restrooms etc. Special needs bracelet is very helpful.

Sarah Ziegler

Rides are great for all ages. Waterpark was best for little ones. Food was tasty, but they seemed to run out of certain items in the early afternoon. Park was very clean.

Veronica Hannah

We had a wonderful time. Lots of things to do. My kids are 1,2 and 4 it was a perfect amount of rides and walking. The staff where very kind often let my kids stay on the ride when there was no one in line. The water park is amazing. Definitely recommend.

Cindy Kaiser

Great family fun, especially for children 10 and under. There are a few bigger rides ( rollercoasters) for the adventurous but most rides are geared for the under 10 group. No long lines, very few teenagers and lots of grandparents with little ones. They have nice strollers and handicap scooters available for rental. Fun shows, water rides and splash area. Food and drink is typical amusement fare and price. However, they do have a picnic area if you want to pack your own lunch. Staff was cheerful and FRIENDLY. Park was clean and well maintained.

Christy Levan

Cute place for younger kids. All the rides are smaller and geared toward kids I'd say around 10 and under. There are a few roller coasters and a cool dinosaur section with lifelike animatronic dinos. There is a seasonal waterpark also.

Christine Donlon

A fun family park for kids of all ages. We have been visiting since my teen was a toddler and we always find fun things to do. Even though my kids are getting older, we purchased twilight tickets and still didn't manage to do everything we wanted too. While there is certainly more for younger kids, there was plenty for our whole family to enjoy. The park is clean, staff is awesome and there is always something new when we go. I highly recommend the game books sold at the ticket booth as well as the photo pass. We saved a bundle using these two options.

Eric Kaupinis

Very pricey for the small size of the park and that's including discounts we got through a local store. Great for young kids. Merlin's Mayhem was a surprisingly enjoyable ride and got my kids introduced to the idea of more exciting coasters.

Luis Guzmán

I don't think that the parents have to pay the same amount of money as the childs. This attraction is for kids. They have only like two attractions for grown-ups people.

Ezra Yaakov van Messel

Such an amazing and special day for us and our campers! Thank you for being amazing Park Staff!!! Not you in management, your policies made our day quite difficult, but thanks to the wonderful ride operators we were able to make it all work by our policies and yours. Some things to keep in mind if you are going with kids at a 2nd grade height, you might have to ride next to them one at a time. Confusing theme, yet entertaining to the setting. Hope you too have a fun day!

Valeria Scaturro

This is the second year we visited the park. It's really cute for toddlers and preschoolers. The shows are fun and kids like it. There are a lot of things to do, and when is not crowded all can be done in 1 day.

Keisha Bullard

I love Dutch Wonderland! I have been going there every year for the last 4 years. Customer service is always amazing and it's a very, very family oriented environment. They have a couple of shows throughout the day and small water park and it's never over crowded. You can go on all the rides in just one visit if time is an issue and everyone is just so nice and helpful to eachother (worker's and patrons).

Sandy Hinden

A fun and quaint place for kids under 12. Full of rides shows and activities, this place keeps you busy for hours. The kids and I really had a blast on the coasters and at the water park.

Kimberly Deorio

Nice size park for the 5 and younger children. Relaxed and user friendly which is what I enjoy. Staff was helpful and courteous for the most part. Woman who ran the fun slide however was rude & noisy asking me questions about my child and was attempting to comment on what he should be doing. Not a nice experience but my kids enjoyed themselves. Unsure if I will return to visit or stay with Hershey & Sesame Place.

Aaron Cortright

Perfect for 1.5 year olds to maybe 10 years old. Their are a few things to do for older kids too, but that is not their focus. The lines for many of the rides were manageable. Because it's an older park, they have many full grown trees within the park creating tons of shade, making hot summer days tolerable. Can't wait to go back!

Iva Floyd Skyrikova

This place is a little pricey but it is perfect for small children who do not have the height to go on big rides. There was a lot to do in one day and we didn't even get to go to the water park. I would definitely recommend to a family with small children. The best part is that children under 2 are free!

Duane Groff

We visited with my cousin, wife and kids. Everybody had a wonderful evening. The ride attendants were courteous and nice. The security guy at the front gate who checks your bags is hilarious. We all love the new rollercoaster. It is a hanging coaster named Merlin's Mayhem. This amusement park is a wonderful introductory place to take young children. I could go again and again!

Ben Zaitz

Fun times in an other-worldly setting (Lancaster County) so close to Philadelphia. This was our 2nd time here and our kids love it!

Alex Barron

Our two and half year old twins loved it - which I expected. But I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. So many fun rides, for the kiddies and also for the grown-ups. We went on an overcast fall day, and there were almost no lines for any of the rides. Great way to spend a day. We'll be back, I'm sure!

Andrew Harris

Great place to visit with your young ones. They could do a better Job of getting rides that arnt working back up and running quicker as the frog hopper has been down for a month! Also they need to train the staff better on proper food handling! I've seen allot of disgusting things like taking the trash out with gloves and then using the same gloves to serve you! I also wish they would update some of the old rides with new ones! Like I said overall nice park!

Anthony Cortigiano

Great family friendly place. Very cordial , safe clean and organized. Visit amish while here . Horse and buggy rides .

Wes Dudley

This is an ideal location if you have young kids and are looking for mild rides that parents and kids can handle. It's a bit pricey comparing what you get with other amusement parks, but it's very family-friendly and you can spend most of the day checking out the various rides, splash area, and shows. Only complaint is they make you wear shoes on the water slide which is very inconvenient (and unnecessary).

Robert Dickson

We go every year! The rides are fun, and perfect for kids. You can spend all day there without doing the same thing twice, but the park is small enough that you don't spend half your time walking from one place to the next.

Dena Ciepley

We weren’t over impressed. We try to take our toddler twins to several different amusement parks each year. This was our least favorite by far. Many rides were not open when the park opened. Many things need a paint job and improved. Looking a little tired.

Katherine Doss

Good for kids. Pretty outdated though. Wouldn't buy a season pass since we don't live in PA but it was fun to try out. Kids are 7 and 3.5 and they loved it.

Yael Gurevich

Excellent place for young children! All the shows were great! Even as adults, we had a really nice time! I love that there are a variety of rides for all ages and that they don't just spin in a circle. All who went had a really fun time!

Jean Young

Not overly crowded. Payed one fee and rode all the rides, as well as seen shows. Loved the different rides. Loved the children themed environment.

daniel kessler

Great place for families with younger children. The park was clean, easy to navigate and had rides appropriate for children of varying ages. There is a picnic area adjacent to the parking lot where you can make a bbq.

Megan Hunt

We took our toddler here for the first time and he had a blast! He's been asking to go back ever since (we probably should have just gotten to season passes so we could go more frequently since it is a little pricey to go) none the less it is a great park for younger kids and we all had a great time!

William Countiss

Family fun. Decent Prices. Clean. I've heard many good things about this park over the years and it certainly holds that reputation for my visit. There are many rides for children of various ages to enjoy, but in my opinion waiting for your child to be at least 5 years of age will allow them to enjoy most of what this park has to offer in terms of rides.

Angela DiBlasi

Lots of fun, great rides for toddlers - it is a little pricey to get in - but all in all a great amusement park

Deep Patel

This was a very good place to visit if you're in the nearby area. Worth the bucks. We took the coupons from Groupon so we got a good deal for the visit. They have water play area where you can go after you're dome with rides where kids can have fun and relax. They have different rides from small ones to a couple big ones. Rides varies from small kids to adults. Everyone can enjoy here. Go there if you're a big family/group.

Dawn Spreckels

This is cute, definitely geared well towards 2-12 yr olds, no major lines, staff is average at best. I like that they let you bring water bottles in and are very family friendly. The games are decent, most all kids win something which is nice and easy. The store for souvenirs is over priced and way out of line with everything else. This isn't Hershey park but the prices at the gift shop think it is. Little bit of rain shut the whole place down just about and that was disappointing. We happened to catch the princess on her way out of the office on her way to story time and the only kids around at the time were mine, you'd think she'd stop and let them get a pic, nope just kept walking. I find that rude. Never been to a park where the characters don't stop for the kids, even dorney park has nicer staff that's not something to be proud of. I give this park 4 stars because its clean, well maintained for the most part though there were many out of order signs, and the pricing lines up with my expectation as far as the park itself. They lost a star because the gift shop and food was over priced and staff was barely alive, definitely not 'kid people'. This place with proper management could easily be 5 star. Just needs a little tightening up.

J. Schmidt

Best place for 2-7 yr-old kids! We come here at least once a year from DC. Staff is great, skip the food if you want to live a long life.
