REVIEWS OF Diggerland IN Delaware

Sandra Berezowsky

Great place to visit. The employees are kind and courteous. My grandson was excited about driving the equipment especially the digger. Diggerland is clean and has FREE parking to. They also provide games to play such as checkers which are played on tiles with orange and green cones. You can play Connect 4 and ring toss and corn hole.

Mark Snow

Really fun place to spend the day with the kids. It is a little smaller than other options such as six flags, but it is more economical.

Adam Werner

Great place to take the kids and have fun on some digging equipment. I can see this place getting packed on a busy weekend

Bill Furman

Drove the excavator with the XL experience. Amazing fun

Albert Lazar

I dug Diggerland. What a great concept!! A construction theme park, basically for little kids,. They will love it.

Ruthely Escobar

Super fun for kids and adults. The park small and easy to do in an afternoon.

Al Young Cuda

Nice place for the kids if they are into the machines and motor driven vehicles...if you're tall enough you get to drive some of them..

Jason Dantzler

Last few times I have gone the place was not packed the employees are all very polite very interactive and respectful

None Of your business

Awesome time with my kid here all the rides are hands on my kid was able to go on everything here he loved every ride for the price the park is one of the best around just wish there was alittle more spots to get into the shade on a hot day it's a bit rough being in the sun all day with a five year old but well worth the money going here

Simcha Z. Trieger

Great experience for children over the age of 8-9, especially boys. The lines were a bit long, so you can expect some extra wait time. The kids had a chance to drive real tractors (of course with an adult onboard)

Matt Scoville

Great fun. The height to drive alone is 48 for most things and 36 to go with an adult. Got there early when it was just slightly drizzling and was able to walk on to anything. My kids (8,5) loved it.

Raymond Perez

Wow! That's all I can really say. Very different from your normal theme park, and we absolutely loved it. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Decent prices for admission and food. We drove tractors, skids and more. Very very fun and unique experience

John Rakita

Definitely one of a kind construction equipment amusement park probably only a Jersey thing because International Union of Operating Engineers in the area lol ..its awesome place for kids to play with real construction equipment and learn how Hydraulics ,pedals, controls and steering wheels work on everyday construction equipment you'll see up and down the turnpike

mae ward

Great place for our 2 grandsons!

Sarah Sempier

Gotta admit, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this place. I am not a huge fan of amusement parks to begin with. Add to that, dirt and asphalt.... I was just there for the kids, putting on a happy face. But, ride after ride, I found myself smiling and enjoying the collection of unique experiences at diggerland. I also enjoyed the experience of the slower pace. Early on I was feeling at least mildly annoyed by how slow the lines moved.... But the rides moved slower too. It wasn't a wait in line for an adrenaline rush like most amusement places. It was a wait in line for a new experience type place. In addition to that, the ropes course was pretty awesome.

Jessica Scherbik

Was cute kids enjoyed themselves. Thought it was weird that you have to spend money on "extras" including certain rides after spending $150 on admission for 4 people.

Evan Bycer

My toddler had a great time, but it cost $86 for an adult and one toddler.

Aubrie Rose

Went with a group of boys age ranging 4-12. They all loved it! Even the adults had a blast controlling all the machines. It’s perfect if you’re over 42 inches bc then you can ride everything with a parent or by yourself. Not an easy place to bring an infant unless you have someone to stay with them in the stroller. Not allowed to be a lap rider if you’re under 36 inches. But we all had a blast! Can cover most if not all I’m a days visit.

Adam Knight

A fun and relaxing amusement park. Recommended!

Courtney Daniels

Fun park for all ages. We visited on a Saturday. The park was not extremely busy. The waiting in lines was not because they were long but truly waiting for our turn on the equipment. Finger foods and snacks to eat. A little privacy in my opinion. We parked close to the gate and went in and out for water and food. Fun experience and glad we made the trip.

Jill Kleppinger

We had a good time and the kids loved it. The food is what you’d expect however I never dreamed we would be waiting an hour by the time we got through line and received our food. Definitely we will pack food and eat outside the park if we go again. But the saddest issue was that they measure kids to go on some rides and the measuring sticks they use are not consistent throughout the park! So my daughter was refused for 2 rides, after we had already waited in line for them, when she was permitted on several other rides with the same height requirement. Watch out for that if your child is right around the 36” requirement for most rides. Overall we had fun but hope someone can benefit from the feedback.

C V

Only bad thing is there's very little shade. Other than that, awesome place

Katrina Samuels

Amazing experience with my kids I would recommend it

Robert Bleattler

This place is great aside from the fact that there is really not alot of shade. The rides are good and the kids really enjoy it.

Nicole Farrish

Very friendly staff and pretty clean park (restrooms too) It was great fun for the whole family. The only thing is they have games and activities that you need cash for and they dont have an ATM. Or offer cash back...and I didn't see this info on their website that I thought I looked over thoroughly.

Elvin Ross

Great place for kids and families. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Many rides were appropriate for small kids.

Heather Huestis

This was totally awesome. Highly recommend for everyone of all ages. Best day . Can't believe there is a place like this!! Will be going back in future.

M Freund

The place could be a ton of fun, and the kids did actually enjoy when they got their chance. But the management is rude and slow. We had to wait 2 plus hours for my kid to get on the Rope course. The park knew about the busy schedule, and didn't prepare by having sufficient staff. I would not recommend anyone to spend the kinda high entrance fees and go their on days that you think the park would have an above average crowed. On a empty day, the kids would absolutely enjoy.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO... Worst place to work, this isn't a disgruntled employee review, its facts. So first, I was CHASED by a male manager while I was walking to my car with my two DAUGHTERS because I asked to speak to a general manager / managers (after the park closed at 6pm). They were too alarmed to speak to me (probably because they knew they were completely in the wrong) but nonetheless it would've taken less than 5 min. I was extremely polite, not angry, not even a little bit, kind of relieved my child and I didn't have to deal with the lack of professionalism from this business anymore. I didn't want to make her quit her first job, but I should have. Understandably this is a job, but if there's major problems and a parent of a minor can't speak with a minors manager, without an appointment for 5 min thats a HUGE RED FLAG!! Very sketchy. This company takes advantage of teenagers, sexist (not with mine) plays favorites (with their own kids) and does not treat teen employees right. Now I know why a bunch of kids quit within less than a month. Managers there do not know how to run a business properly (scheduling, training, payroll, set-ups, etc.) and want to blame teenagers. ADULTS blaming teens for their own lack of business management, (and we wonder what's wrong with kids today). How can someone be fully trained when it takes a month and half to get approximately 40 hrs of work total? Work 2 days for approximately 10 hrs, then not work for 10 days, told to leave after only about 4 hrs, then no work for almost a month. Expect teens (15-17 yrs old) with no driver's license to arrive for work at scheduled time to be sent home an hour later like parents don't work. Wasted time, money, & gas (I probably paid more in gas driving my child back and forth to work like it was a game, than she made all summer) couldn't make any plans all summer because this was basically an "on call" job. Also without prior notification to parents about possibility of children being sent home nearly every day they worked. When my child properly requested off in adequate time, a manager denied her request and another manager told her not to come in that it was the scheduling managers fault. Customers tried scamming employees to get free drinks and meals, employees followed protocol, managers gave entire meals for free multiple times, BUT a misunderstanding between about a drink (ICEE or ICED TEA) was apparently cause for termination because a refund had to be issued. Basically, it's ok to give free meals because a MANAGER can't be bothered but an employee cannot misunderstand a customer. Stations are not properly equipped or set up before park opens at 10 am. So when an employee comes in for scheduled time of 11 am. and isn't properly equipped to do her job satisfactorily she is blamed. Same manager didn't answer fast enough when employee tried to reach out for supplies that have run out because there's no communication device (stations not adequately equipped) so an EMAIL has to be sent, which is the ACTUAL cause for disgruntled customers. Another employee didn't get supplies to asking employee fast enough so she's blamed for that too. All of this is in RETALIATION to her being told not to come in and trying right a wrong with other managers. Although, NJ is an "at will" state, which the manager who chased 3 females down thought I didn't know, it is however illegal to terminate in retaliation. I wasn't going to say anything, but after the manager felt the need to be nasty and follow my daughters and me, I felt the need to let people know: Don't let your kids work there. This is a "shorter version" there's more. PS. My other child started working somewhere else around the same time, has had no issues, with schedule, sexism, payroll, treatment of employees. (So it's definitely not us)

I took my son for his birthday, Saturday, June 8th. I was prepared to be frustrated by lines and waiting since it was a Saturday but to my surprise, we didn't wait long at all. The entrance line was fast and most of the rides didn't have a long wait. My son had a great time! The one experience I noticed for adults was not working so I was a bit disappointed. I'm not happy that his father and I spent so much on admissions when the rides are primarily for kids. Our experience was still awesome and seeing my son so happy made it all worth it.

Ashley I

We all had a great time- the kiddos are happy and that's what we wanted! There were a few employees that seemed to really like their job (despite the heat), but for the most part the employees were the part about this place that needs improvement. They appear mostly grumpy and it's obvious some really don't like their job. Also- the employees need to be retaught how to CHECK THAT PEOPLE ARE LOCKED IN PROPERLY. It is the adults responsiblity to make sure their kid knows proper safety, but it's the park staff who should be securing them. The Spin Dizzy and Argo were the ones we had issue with.

Eric Foreman

FABULOUS! Our 5 year old daughter and 7 year old son had a terrific time (they were in heaven). We spent the day on Sunday June, 23rd, and they went on about every ride. The staff was friendly, the park was clean, and the prices were consistent with any amusement park. I would certainly go back. I would recommend to others as well.

Vincent King

Wonderful place went for birthday on a Saturday in the first week of April. Was a great time had by all not crowded No long waits. Will be going back. Would recommend for anyone that likes outdoors and construction stuff. There is an awesome tower walk for people not afraid of heights. There is plenty to do even wife enjoyed her time there and rode a couple of rides. It is a little pricey but if you buy the membership for 4 or more you save money also food is good but could be expensive for 4 people we spent over $125.00. There are place to eat near by you can leave and come back on same day as long as you keep wristband. Or you can bring food BUT YOU HAVE TO EAT OUTSIDE THE PARK. Overall again a great place for kids 36 inches tall or more there is height restrictions on most of the rides. Family will be going back.

Ashley Carman

Great place for kids. In order to go on rides makes sure your child is 36inches

Yury Deshko

Not the largest amusement park, but it has its charm.

Bountys List

Nice place for kids and families but lines are long sometimes for certain activities

scott smith

Had a great time. It was a bit smaller than we expected. Had a lot of stuff in a small space without feeling cramped. All the staff was very friendly and patient with all the kids. I had fun as an adult driving a lot of the equipment.

Igor Gimpelevich

Great place to spend 2 to 3 hours..

Missy S

Fun, I had a great night witb my family especially the hook the ducks game! That was so fun & cute!

Hazel Singh

My kids always have a great time here. Great staff , very friendly. Love the soaring

BEATRIZ SANCHEZ

Cute park for the kiddos. A bit over priced but they do offer military discount. My 5yr old loved it.

John Eisenhauer

Great experience. I do the XL experience and thought it was incredible. Way more freedom than I expected

Katz Eyex

kids had a blast. Wish the line to get in moved quicker. Seems like they need a better way to check people in or get more than 2 people working the counter. I think it would be better if they also did the wrist bands according to height so that they did not have to check the height at all the rides. Most the employees are really nice but there was one today that was kind of rude. He was running the spin dizzy ride. He told the kids that they were not going to ride the ride multiple times and that they were to sit there and be quiet and get off once the ride was done. I don't see what the issue is if there is no one else in line and you would like to go again. You get paid to operate the rides just do it. If its policy to get off and get back on then fine thats understandable but don't tell kids they can't ride a ride they like multiple times. The go karts only had one operational when we went so that was a bummer, they also go slow. I think it would also be nice to have a cheaper option for parents who are not going to ride the attractions. I will saw it is nice that the parking lot is so close that you can go to your car to eat before coming back in.

Clayton Wile

Diggerland was awesome! What a crazy and cool concept. You literally get to ride and drive real equipment. Not look a like stuff on a rail driving course, you really get to drive it! They do well to provide shade while you're waiting in line too. Overall, a blast and a great value.

Celine Fu

My son always obsessed with construction viechle s so this place is absolutely great for him! We arrived at 10am in the Saturday morning and to my surprise there were only few people until after 12pm started getting busy.

Nancy Lawrence

It was fascinating!!! My grandson at age three is very intrigued with big power work vehicles... In two words fantastic place......

P Rose

The entrance fee is very expensive and the lines are extremely long. Enjoyable rides for my 4 yr old but was not the worth the price or the wait time for each of the rides. I paid over $70 to wait online for atleast 25 minutes at each ride.

Kate Robb

I have mixed feelings. I feel like the reviews really hype this place up.. do not go in with the mindset “this is going to be a fast paced, awesome time like any other amusement park!” Almost all of your time will be spent standing around waiting an exorbitant amount of time to ride slow tractors. & I understand construction vehicles aren’t made for speed but waiting 10-15mins for a 2-3min ride that goes 1mph loses its excitement factor very quickly lol. My 5yo had a great time on the ropes course & rock wall, but my 4yo, just shy of 42” did not. They really should be free under 42” or substantially less bc they can’t do anything alone but play on the playground and ride the tractor/train. I would go back but definitely when my kids are all over 42” & eat right before & go in the afternoon when it clears out a little bit. If you come when the park opens BE PREPARED TO WAIT A LOT!!

Michele Bodalski

Oh my gosh....we just went today for the "Touch A Truck" event. It was great for the kids! They all loved climbing on all the trucks and equipment and spraying the fire hose. This was my first time here but I've wanted to go for a while and now I'm definitely going back. The park looks so cool! The zip line and the other attractions. I went with tiny lil guy today so touch a truck was enough for him but I will be back for sure. Bringing all my nephews. Wish I could CRUSH a car!!!!! THAT looks awesome!

Pinny Faska

Kids loved the rides, but it was not a busy day and you had to wait a long time for each ride.

sbrumme99 tt

Awesome but pricey! Make sure you try and get a coupon before you go.

Sudarshan Phani

It's ok. Think of any kids amusement park with rides ,but substitute diggers and excavators to ride in. There's a bit of digging, but that's not the majority of the things there. The food scene could use a LOT of help. They prohibit outside food or drink. It takes 30+ minutes to get food after you order at the one option for food, which is really hard when you're with children. There is also a lot of stuff to do that costs extra. Park entrance isn't super cheap and walking in and having to pay extra for things is a real bummer.

Damaris Santos

Fun time for the kids, ESPECIALLY those into construction trucks

Meyerlele Productions

Really fun place. Wish it was bigger

Spencer Taylor

Where can you crush a car? Where can you play with construction equipment? Where can the whole family have an awesome time, in a completely unique environment? The only place I know like this is Diggerland. If you haven't been there yet - go! You'll love it.

Erin Boudreau

Lots of fun for my then 4 year old, and my husband and I. He just turned 7 and asked to go back this summer and we can’t wait to go back!

victoria walker

Loved it!!!!! The rides are so cool and the employees are very friendly!!!!! I highly recommend and very clean!

Tiffany Bushnell

Good only if your kid is 42 in tall. Def NOT worth the $!

Usha Pradeep

Perfect place for kids to have an experience on various construction vehicle rides. Each ride has been designed and operated keeping kids in mind. Am giving 4 stars, as its an open ground. If they had a covered all the public pathways with sunshades, hands down, i woukd have given 5 stars. So caps, coolers, water, sneakers, sunscreen is a must. Food is expensive .

CAP

This was a great little amusement park for the kids. They really run the 'construction theme' throughout the park which was pretty cool. Admission was reasonable and the park wasn't too big making it the perfect day trip for little ones. It took us about 2 hours to get down there but I think the drive was worth it. They have a ton of rides, most which even little ones (ie 2 years old) can go on. There are a couple of rides you have to pay extra for (ie. soaring eagle) but worth it if the line isn't too long. Otherwise I would just skip it. As fun as it is the 2 min ride isn't really worth a wait over 10 mins (in my opinion.) The food is the usual amusement park food (it's edible and overpriced - nothing great.) My only grip is that there are some height restrictions which are silly especially if you 'pay' and clear the height restriction at the admission office. Meaning if you pass the 36' at the front - you shouldn't be given a problem when at the lines (I find this happens more often than not at amusement parks which is more annoying for the parents than anything.) Overall though worth the trip and would definitely go again.

John Newman

It was really great for kids! Plenty of stuff for the whole family though. It's big but not too big. Definitely able to see the whole park in one day. Well, I was there 5 hours and seen 90% of the park and rode a lot of the rides.

Ihuoma Oyekanmi

Well my expectations were high , and this place achieved that. Diggerland was beyond fun for my 2 year old to the point that he didn't want to leave. We didn't get to finish the whole park , but hopefully we can come back soon . Oh by the way adults can also have fun . There are real equipment that you can drive and ride. The only side eye of the whole experience was the exit through the gift shop, great exit plan for Diggerland, not so great for tired parents with over exited kids. And also bring extra money for extra stuff like the mini arcade and other little things . The food courts are ok , typical stuff and there is a air conditioned eating lounge . I planned ahead and pack frozen water, grapes and blueberries because I knew it was going to be hot. All in all we had a great time .

Drew Garceau

Great place to take a some or daughter that loves construction. During warmer days, seems to be less crowded. Gift store has reasonable prices on toys. Food is what I would expect for an amusement park. The price for the food is not outrageous.

Candice Cusick

So place was so unique and my son loved it!! On the other hand I was not to happy. I try to keep my son busy with different activites and want him to experience as much as possible! It cost me $70 to get me and my 5 year old in (that was with discount) and everything was so over priced! We are a family just making end meat so this was upsetting because I felt like I was being robbed

Heidi Cross

Had sons 7th Birthday party here and was beyond my expectations. Everything was perfect and my son had the best time.

Rosi Rolon Gil

Perfect for little kids. Even my 4 year old could go on every ride with an adult. He had a blast.

Dennis Drahos

My entire family enjoyed ourselves here. Every minute was fun and the kids had a blast playing with the "heavy machinery."

Franklin Shian

Very fun for kids and pretty fun for adults too. Not a bad way to spend half a day to a full day depending on how busy they are. Best for kids above the height of 48" though 36" and above kids can usually tag along with an adult. For left something to be desired but at least it wasn't incredibly expensive. The staff was very nice.

Jamie Dixon

We enjoyed it! Exceeded what I was expecting favorite part was the zip lining awesome. Short lines but a wait for the slow motorized attraction

Ryan Nunes

Great place for kids of all ages, get there early and enjoy the day!

Vincent Farran

Love this place. Its my 1st time and I would definitely come back. Not only is it for kids to have fun but the adults would have a blast too

Nichole Clouse

Definitely a different experience, my kids had fun trying the equipment. It was clean, friendly employees. My only down was the soaring eagle was not worth $6 a person. The rope course was no joke but I loved watching my 5 year olds confidence grow.

Daniel Ready

Amazing, 4 and 2 year old loved it, could ride most of the riders with an adult!

N G

If you have adventurous little people that live playing in dirt then this is a guaranteed good time!

Aron Uzanas

Fun for girls, boys, and adults. We went because one of my two kids really likes construction equipment, but everyone had a great time (parents too!). More than just construction themed rides. Equipment you can operate, a rock wall, and ropes course to name a few. Will definitely return.

ishak oya

We went on a pretty hot day so there weren’t many people there, which was AWESOME no lines... private guide. Lekan was awesome! He was patient and kind towards my boys. There are water sprinklers every couple feet to keep the family cool. Lekan suggested the best places to hit for the ages we had with us I have a 4, 5, and 6 year old. They had PLENTY to do. Rock walls, skid steers, rides that lift you up to see the whole park. Arcade games, small diggers, big excavators, rides on the big trucks, a train for the small kids and driving tractors. We got the membership because it seemed the best bang for the buck. I look forward to bringing the boys back for another day full of adventure and fun! Awesome service and lots of fun for your little tike!

Melanie Ernest

Fun place for little kids and big kids too

Maysa Odatalla

LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE MY THREE BOYS HAD SO MUCH FUN YESTERDAY, AND MY DISABLED SON FOR THE FIRST TIME GOING TO PLACE AND HAVE FUN ,THE STAFF WERE GREAT AND NICE ,THE SUPERVISOR LET MY SON GO ON ALL THE RIDES FOR FREE AND HE WAS SUPER FRIENDLY WITH MY SON ,I CALLED HIM SUPERHERO, LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH

Eric Edwards

The best amusement park. The whole family had a blast.

John Jones

Admission prices are great. Clean and fun. I suggest bringing snacks and drinks in because they get you on the food prices. Also there aren't many places to find shade in between rides. New additions were neat. (XL section).

Remy Hendra

This is a fun place to be. If you're in Philly this is a must go. Went for the excavator experience and that thing was so much fun. We'll definitely be back! Jim was an excellent instructor!

Roman P.

An unexpected gem for family fun. Our friends from Pittsburgh while visiting for the memorial day have talked us into going there. I didn't want initially as I have heard bad reviews previously. What a mistake! This place is a lot of fun for kids, boys specifically. The were running like crazy for 5 straight hrs wanting to trial every tractor and roller. Even the youngest - 4 years old was able to drive the asphalt roller and dig up a hole with the excavator. Yes stuff sometimes is not nice but who cares. I even forgot their faces but overall great impression stays with us.

Ama Vortia

So amazing the fun games one can get up to with construction equipment.

Jason Coleman

Lines were slow in the morning ,but overall fun place. Kids loved it

Diana Galante

Wow, this place blew me away! I was really surprised by how much they had for my kids to do. You can tell how much thought went into designing the park. Even though it is huge, ride entrances were well spaced so it didnt feel like a hike between attractions. Another impressive point is how many shade structures and misting fans were spread out all over the park. The only thing they could do to improve is set up a few vendor carts throughout the park selling cold drinks. Pack a thermos with icy water and you're in for a great day.

Amber Namini

I would not recommend Diggerland for children over 5 or children use to faster rides. Most of the rides are extremely slow and my 6 year old was bored after an hour. They only had two rides she enjoyed. If you have a tractor at home, save your money and ride your kid on that. Also the staff doesn't pay attention and count people before they let you on a ride. They just let you go on to find out there isn't enough space and you have to go back to the line and wait.

Ashlee Gitkos

SO much fun! The park is a really great size for young kids. We have three kids 6 & under, and we visited along with friends who also have three younger kids. We were able to do everything we wanted to. We hadn’t planned on spending the entire day at the park since we arrived soon after opening, but everyone was having so much fun that we stayed until after 6. The park wasn’t crowded, so the lines were all short. The staff was friendly and were pretty laid-back, letting our kids go longer on things as long as no one else was waiting to ride. The park was really clean and offered lots of things to do. We drove 5+ hours to visit, and it was well worth it. We will absolutely visit again.

Adele J

We loved our first time to Diggerland. It's a very fun and unique place. We only waited in one long line and that happened to be the for the first ride. There wasn't much of a wait for the other rides/attractions. We went on Sunday for Father's Day. It was hot! They can use some more mist stations and umbrellas. We're looking forward to our next visit. There's plenty to do once you reach 36 inches!! We've been excited to take our son here ever since we heard of Diggerland. Also, I'd like to recognize an employee named Qasir; he offered to help my son on and off the ride. He was the friendliest and most helpful employee we encountered that day.

Joe Rangel

This is one of those places you go to because your kid wants to dig in the dirt like a pro. Plenty of things to do that will easily take up an entire day hanging out and experiencing all the cool things here. It’s not often you get to play with construction equipment, dig up some cash and take the family!

Gyorgy Palyusik

First thing is you walk through the gate little excavators for 2$ of quarters, looks cool I dont mind,(should be free,at least for members)but the change machine doesn't work. And that was my first experience with membership right at the entry for 2$ took me 10 min to get quarters for my kids.its hard to come back from that point....

Dilly Jensen

Drove 4 hours to get to this place. It's a lot bigger then I expected and has a lot more things to do for all ages then I originally thought I'm 44yrs old and had the time of my life. The people were extremely friendly and very helpful. I had signed up for the XL, 3 hours on 3 different pieces of equipment. I thought that would be too long but time flew by. Jim my instructor gets 5 stars in my book. Confident, funny, and laid back. My kinda guy. He had me laughing the whole time and truly made my experience one I'll never forget. I was worried I'd be too short 5'3" but I fit all the equipment fine. If you ever wanted to drive these machines, this is the place to do, and be sure to ask for Jim! And don't forget to take the family, there is something for everyone, it's a must see.

M Scheb

Bring your kids. You will not regret it. Adults will have fun too. Your kids can use a variety of constrution equipment. We had a great time.

Danielle Danley

My son had a lot of fun here. Its great to have a place that allows kids to drive and use trucks they admire so much. But, there was quite a few trucks not working, the trucks go slower then slow and we did encounter a staff member that was a bit rude to us.

Emilie Cilley

We had a great experience at Diggerland! Ideal for my 6 and 3 year old sons. We went on July 4th..and it was hot! But, not alot of people so lines were short or..no lines at all. If it had been busy, it may have been a completely different experience. They had plenty of misting fans going all over the park. Because they don't allow outside food, we left for an hour and a half and went to lunch up the street. Then came back for another two and a half hours. I recommend people doing that instead of waiting around for food inside the park.

Joanna Hensley

This is definitely a place for younger children to attend. The experience was amazing! We look forward to more trips. Great staff!

Don'tBelieveTheHype IXXI

Great fun for you and the kids. They get to operate real construction vehicles. It's a good time to bond with your little ones.

Carol Bradley

We went to Diggerland last year in July 2018 and again this past Saturday June 15 2019. Our son is 3 and is crazy about Diggerland as are we, We really love it, it’s so well kept very clean and staff are very friendly, we upgraded our tickets to Season passes as we will definitely be going a lot with other friends and family members. The only small issue I had was that my son who is 39” wasn’t allowed to go on one of the tractors with me that states to ride with an adult you must be 36-42” the girl refused to let him go on which I thought odd, it was a hot day and other people where waiting on line so I just went on another ride with him however he was upset that he couldn’t get on the tractor.

Pay to come in, pay to do many other things. Lines are still tedious but less so than many other amusement locations, they need to double or triple the locations therein to get food

Becky Strauss-Sweet

Very neat place to safely try out and drive heavy machinery for kids and the young at heart. There is also a challenging high ropes course and rock wall for those daredevils. In the back by the Argo and the tractor train cars, don't miss the axe throwing, sling shot, and tube runs (like a hamster wheel.) Had a great tine and lots of laughs. They give discounts for AAA, military, and first responders. Food is typical park food, and there are a variety of frozen treat options. You can also bring your own lunch and eat in the parking lot. Staff is very friendly and eager to show you how to use each machine.

Jayanarayana Bhat Undaru

Very nice place for kids... my 5 year old son enjoyed :)

Ivette Cruz

We loved Diggerland, there's a lot to do for the kids. From digging, driving machines, the rope course, the car smash on Thurdays... it is really fun!

Brian Kulak

If I could give zero stars... So we won tickets to the park well over a year ago, but because our son was so small (newly 5), we held off so he could enjoy the rides. Sadly, our passes expired in the interim. I called down to the Berlin, NJ today and spoke to the manager, Andrew, who explained that the passes can't be accepted because they have no "cash value." While I understand that there is protocol, I would argue that there is "human value" to those tickets. So now, a child friendly park refuses to let a child in under the guise of some silly mandate that could have been easily waived, which would have led to a much different review. We'll never go to the park now, and I would suggest thinking about spending your (expensive) dollar at a place that values people over protocol.

Joe

Great park for day trips with young kids. There's hardly ever any lines, my 4 yr old son loves driving real construction equipment, and the prices area reasonable.

Cole Kaye

The kids really enjoyed themselves. However, for a "theme park," they really need adequate parking. Also, I think they need a better system in respect to their food service. We waited over an hour and a half to even order food to be told they ran out many of the menu items-- the reason this is a huge issue is because they weren't very busy as this was one of the first weekends of opening season with the weather being fair, so I would hate to see what this would be like during peak summer season.

EK LIFE

I loved to enjoy the time with my family.

Chris C

Great place. You can easily spend over 4-5 hours here but keep in mind, not everything is included in the ticket price. Some attractions are additional cost, even if you have a season pass. Food is expensive, too, which is partly expected. That being said, it's a great place. Our 4 year olds had a blast.

Dana Sainte

Me & my 6 year old's 1st time. We had a good time! On a Thursday morning there were no lines for admission nor the rides. I paid attention to some of the reviews & ate our food from home in the car. That saves money for the price of admission! My kid is 44" so he was able to rides almost everything. But there were some that I had to operate so I got my money's worth. Another suggestion from a review: There is no shade so go on a nice day!

Audrey Lamping

Visited today and our family had a great time! Staff was super friendly. The park was bigger than I had imagined, the attractions were really cool, and it was a unique experience because of all the things that you do not see anywhere else. We would love to come back!!

Melissa Holt

My 5yo was in awe as were my husband and myself. Has stuff for everyone and loved every minute cannot wait to go back

Kalpit Patel

Only 4 people in line still took over 30 min to get in to the little digging ride. Only one staff working and operating 2 machine. They have over 10 machine. Only operating only 2 with one staff was little off. Came all the way down from Toronto with my kids to enjoy a day but waiting in line made my son so tired. Could have done better.

Jason Dubowitch

Even on a 100 degree day, there is shade and sprinklers going to make it bearable. New rides, and old rides that are refreshed. Pretty extensive food selection and prices that are not too ridiculous.

Julio Aponte

Diggierland is one of a kind. Very cool place to take kids and visit as an adult.

Allan Roeser

It was a beautiful day with not many people. We got there as doorbusters. Only drawback, but a necessary one, was the amount of time the ride attendants took to make sure everyone was safely belted in. No attendant seemed to be in any hurry.

Jesse Honigberg

It was a lot of fun, I definitely recommend you go away on a weekday when it isn't as crowded. We were able to go on everything that was height appropriate for my son in a few hours. The staff were really nice, and I felt that it was worth the cost, especially if you get the annual membership and come back more than once.

Sam Nemo

Brought our 3 1/2 year old and he had a blast. Lots of different activities and the staff was wonderful.

Frandy Vargas

Really cool place to have fun with your kids

Ron Cooper

Everything was great. Only negatives where food extremely slow and also seemed like there was more equipment not being used. So the lines were slow.

Tara M

Lots of fun! My 5 year old loves trucks and this place was fun and very interactive

cesar haddad

Must visit. Awesome place for kids and adults. Lot of fun.

Jordan Smith

Me and my buddy (both about to hit 30) visited this construction themed park and were blown away. Neither of us have kids, but have an interest in large equipment and we expected to only spend an hour here. Well after three hours, we had to drag ourselves away. We never spent more than 15 minutes in line, afternoon, on a Saturday. The rides were fun and somewhat educational. And its the cheapest and best value amusement park I have been to in the past 15 years. No judgement was ever given for these two overgrown children playing with big toys. 100% recommend for kids and adults alike.

Nando A

It is a great family friendly place, great for young kids and parents to have me time with the little ones

Tania Manco

Such an amazing experience for kids & adults we even had the chance to drive a tractor. If you have kids under 36" don't bother and Don't spend your

Sharif Nealy

It was great. My 4 year old and I had an amazing time. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Food is a bit expensive but still worth the trip.

Stephen Taylor

Place is great for young kids. They learn hand, eye coordination using some pretty cool heavy equipment in a controlled, safe setting. All personal was exceptionally friendly. Diggerland also has a climbing tower which in itself is worth the price of admission. Only critic is concessions stands can be organized better to handle lines, but that's just cause I'm in the special event concessions business.

Jill Byrnes

We have visited Diggerland for the last 3 years. My son was ecstatic when on his second visit he could drive tractors and steam rollers on his own. This last visit he drove a backhoe and enjoyed lifting the bucket. It was a long drive but well worth it for his delight.

Jimmy Lenah

Went with a 3 year old and 17 month old. Our 17 month old couldn't really go on any rides but stayed pretty entertained with small games, the playground, and watching others drive around machinery. We stayed from 10 AM until near close and never got bored.

Joseph Maple

This place was awesome. We took our 6 year old son, and I am not sure who had more fun, me or him lol!!! It was hot as heck out the day we went, so my only constructive feedback is that they could use a splash pad or something like that. They did have sprinklers, but they were not enough. The lines take a long time since heavy construction equipment does not move fast. Simple solution would be to run more tractors at once. The Screaming Eagle zip line doesn't really go all that fast, and my son was kinda bored on it. The food was okay (always overpriced, and always just meh for taste). The arcade was decent, and SpinDizzy was the only ride I thought was worth going on.

Rachal Clark

Not bad overall but very little for younger children and they can't even ride on an adults lap for almost every ride. Food is very expensive.

George Smith

A bit disappointed due to the rides lacking a bit of excitement and staff seemingly gloomy.

Craig Berry

The staff was super friendly and the kids loved driving big machines!

Rebecca Shivers

I wish that I could give diggerland more stars, but I can't because my son was not properly secured in the bumper cars and as a result hit his head on the steering wheel. When I emailed the park, no one responded in more than a week now. My son was hurt as a result of their employees' negligence and they didn't even bother to apologize. That being said, the park itself is a fun idea and besides that, he had fun.

Volvie Neuman

This is a great place, i Visited this place more than once. though i would recommend if you are coming here during school break make sure to be there as soon as the park opens as there can be some long waits to go on rides. This place is a lot of fun for the kids, driving construction equipment by themselves is their "dream come true"!! staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you Diggerland for this wonderful experience.

Ryan Guderian

Great place for kids to safely play on heavy machinery!

Parker McLeod

Great fun even as a young adult. Great for kids!

Kyle Ott

Great place to bring the little kids, lines were short and everyone had a blast!

Kevin Webster

It was a very pleasant experience. Very well laid out. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Very short que times. A lot of fun for young kids. FUN!

Steve C

Where else in the world can you take your kids to enjoy the real life experience of operating genuine construction equipment! They have integrated the equipment into the park with an emphasis on safety but without losing the raw heavy equipment feel. You have your choice of many different vehicles to ride and drive, there is a ropes course with 4 increasingly high levels, climbing wall, playground that is younger child appropriate. My 4 year old daughter and 7 year old son had a blast. (It's possible that their parents did, too!). The park did not feel crowded even though the parking lot was write full. Highly recommended.

Nik Prithviraj

Surprisingly elaborate. Bit of a drive but worth it for the uniqueness.

Mike Cobucci

I must admit I didn't have high expectations but Diggerland surpassed all of them. The kids had a blast and spent almost 5 hours in the park and didn't want to leave. One of the best Ropes courses I've ever seen and a ton of variety and stations with the diggers. 4 stars for novelty and unique attractions. Would have been 5 star but food prices are high and they seemed understaffed for the volume of the crowd. I also wonder if this place is regulated by safety authorities.

Robbie Pratt

Great place for our boys. They had a blast

Erica Ruffin

We had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a blast

Phillip Rizzo

First time there had lots of fun

suseela bhaskaruni

Must visit place for kids who love construction vehicles

D. M.

What a magnificent place I was there today with my family they had a amazing time they really have a huge selection of rides for all ages they have also a nice playground with swings and slides and the most I was amazed is how well maintained this place is I came a 2 hour drive and I can tell you its worth

Anna Voloskova

Cool place

Nikiya Pomponi

Great for kids interested in heavy machinery. Definitely recommend going on a week day I can't imagine waiting in lines if it is overly crowded.

Lauren Perisse-Olszowy

We had an awesome time! Something for everyone!! If you bring outside food they have a small picnic area right outside the park. Easy re-admittance. My 6, 4 and 2yo loved it!

David TMann

Fun place for toddlers. Rides are so slow they put you to sleep but where else can you let a 4 year old operate a backhoe. He had a blast I was bored out of my mind.

Rebecca Warren

This is an amazing one of kind park you will want to visit again and again!

Jon D

10X’s better than Sahara Sams in terms of cleanliness, clientele and staff. I’d advise either purchasing tickets online or arriving at opening time. We were unable to do all of the attractions due to time constraints but that was my fault for not arriving early enough.

Elijah Palmer

Best theme park I have ever been to

Matthew Roy

This is a construction themed kids adventure scape/mini amusement park, but the XL experience they offer allows Adults to rent full sized equipment to use in a sandbox like setting. My experience here is limited to only the XL aspect of the park which requires a reservation at least a week prior to the day. In short you show up, check in, get briefed on safety, and then head to the sandbox where a trained operator guides you though various tasks on the machines. All tasks are fun, all machines are fun, but the bulldozer is the best. The longer the experience you book the more machines you can test (up to all 3) and as an added safety measure the professional operator has a safety kill switch to remotely stop the machines if necessary. Overall the XL experience is very fun, super unique, and well executed. Our guide, Niel, was also very kind and knowledgeable. I would therefore highly recommend the XL experience! For a 3 hour block with 3 people using all 3 machines between safety training, switch off inbetween machines, and taking turns operating we each got about 15 minutes of play time per machine which was perfectly fine. It was fun, gave us a lot to talk about, and kept the rotation between everything well paced.

R Brown

Wonderful experience for the family. The size of the park is just right. Not too sprawling and parking is free. Enough attractions to keep the kids busy. Food is okay but not great. There is also a playground area when the kids wish to take a break from the front end loaders. Reccommend

Bobby Brucksch

This is like every kids, and grown ups, dream. Playing with heavy equipment and being able to climb and have lots of fun. It was amazing.

Jeremy Von Bon

Kids over 48 inches can drive by themselves. Over 42 inches can drive with an adult. Great place.

Jason Herter

Good stuff, fun for the kids. Not a huge park but plenty for 1 day. My kids really enjoyed it and so did I. Concessions are pricey so be prepared.

Kayla Huba

First time there yesterday, my husband our 3 boys and I enjoyed our time there!

Gene Rochat

Great for children (not just boys) I think 6-11yrs old.

Emily Tiberio

We had a wonderful visit! Loved all of the attractions and the park was very clean (well, aside from all of the dirt haha!). Great venue for families. Definitely wait until the kids are tall enough to ride the rides though - I wouldn't recommend for really small children. Ours are 5 and 6yrs and had a wonderful time!

Deep Patel

Hey guys, one more review after a while. Been to this unique theme park in June 2019. The staff here was friendly. The experience was different and something which wasn't like the other parks. You could dig with the jcbs, if you're an adult you can drive a little bigger jcb. This is some unique experience. The crowd was not that huge and wasn't that busy considering I went there on a beautiful sunny and hot Saturday. The kids also have lot of fun here as they also get to drive a few of the rides. Of course under adult supervision. Overall a good experience. Should go here at least once if you've got kids specially.
