This is a really great room! Everything you do ties in very nicely with the theme: you're tasked with bringing medicine to a neighboring village, which requires preparing food, collecting water, and making the medicine. They did a great job of keeping the room immersive, with no written language to distract. There's also no timer, you keep track of the rough time based on the lighting and sound in the room from dawn to dusk. What a cool idea! Definitely worth going out of your way to check out. I have done probably close to 100 escape rooms, and this one stands out!

My husband and I recently stopped here for an evening out while visiting his family in Connecticut. We had heard about this through some friends and while we are not usually big fans of the escape room concept, we had heard such positive reviews we had to check it out. We arrived 10 minutes before our booked time. The hosts were friendly and informative as well as clear with the rules and expectations. We were ushered into this little room and I was stunned! The artwork is breathtaking! It was like being transported into a sacred forest (very Pocahontas meets Lord of the Rings). I was impressed at the detail. We started working through the puzzles, which all relate to life in the early 1500's, and we were thoroughly challenged. We have our favorite puzzles, but don't want to ruin the fun by talking about those here. You'll have to try them for yourself. We were so glad we tried Wigwam Escape! So much fun and a great alternative to sitting around playing board games or just watching a movie. This would be a great activity for date night, a group activity for couples or families. It's educational as well so a fun activity for clubs, class trips and schools as well. My only critique is that the room is a little small so for groups larger than 5-6 you'd likely have to split up into smaller groups. But it is called an escape "room". Thank you again to all the wonderful people who made Wigwam escape. This was such a fun night.

A fun, challenging and totally immersive experience that simulates an environment that Native people lived in 500 years ago creating an sensory connection between the players and the history taught at the Institute for American Indian Studies where this Escape Room is located. The artwork is amazing and the game is great fun... loved the light snack at the end too!

Hard to go into detail without spoiling the experience. I will say it’s the most well thought out, designed, and enjoyable escape room I have ever been to. A genuine challenge without resorting to cheap tricks to up the difficulty. If you’re in the area and looking for a fun experience, this should be at the top of your list!

I just did the wigwam escape room. I loved it. I have done many escape rooms. It was completely immersive in a Mohican style. There are a lot of great puzzles that make you use your brain. And they’re authentic to the theme. I would recommend this room for first timers or experienced escapees.
