This Park belongs to the category of Water park.
Fun place for the kids but it is a safety concern that parents are not allowed to be inside the fences when their kids are riding the slides. My daughter took a fall and I was unable to get to her quickly. Lifeguards & attendance are a bunch of high school students who are rude and condescending to the parents that are trying to provide safety for their children. They don’t pay attention to children In the pool before they let other kids slide. Other parents were standing in an area where I was told I could not be. I was asked to leave, they were not .Thank goodness this place is closing at the end of the year before anybody gets hurt
Early bird special is the way to go. Overpriced otherwise, but a great place to take the kids before the beach.
I love this place!!!! Very small place...good price of you're staying all day. Half day special. Just a lot of fun...
The staff were very mean. My friends and I were goofing around and the staff were very angry because i’m having a good time. Also everything seems dirty and neglected. You shouldn’t come to this awful water park.
Gives the kids something to do when I'm at the beach
Great fun for the kids at a great price ..too bad their closing for good this year.
Fun for kids gonna close though
Hate to see it close. All good things must end....
This place is great the variety of water slides makes lines not a worry. They have small slides for smaller kids and bigger slides. ITs fun for all ages.
I have been coming here with my family for many years and we always enjoy all of the slides. The staff are very nice and very helpful and the owner is very friendly. The slides are well maintained and the whole facility is very clean. There are six slides total, one slide that is a very short and easy for very little kids and their parents, three more that are not hard for a kid to get down, and two steeper slides that do require some bravery to get down. All of these slides are enjoyable for people of all ages. The vibe that the area gives you is amazing considering the amazing views of Misquamicut Beach, Block Island, and Winnapaug Pond. The prices are very reasonable and the location is right across from the beach. The all-day pass allows you to leave the park and re-enter at anytime on that same day. If you are ever debating whether to visit this park or not, the obvious answer is yes.
Fun place...staff friendly....great day for kids/adults...
(Translated by Google) A familiar place and in front of a very clean beach great place. (Original) Un lugar familiar y al frente una playa muy limpia lugar estupendo.
The beach is beautiful and the state beach access is nearby but also plenty of reasonably priced public parking. A MUST is to take time to visit The Two Fishes ! Great good, great service. Family friendly as well. Outside dining is a must ! P.s. Very cold beer !
Fun And Exciting For The Kids
Not very good at all. Condescending staff, overwhelmingly overpriced, very few slides. You are charged eighteen dollars for a very arbitrary forty minutes for a six year old. Not worth it, go to the beach, water country, or another, better reviewed, Water Wizz.
My 13 year old and his 14 year old friend give it 4.5 stars because sometimes when you hit the water it hurts. Also they recommend not twisting on the 2 bigger slide because you could lift up off the slide and that is horrifying.
I was at this water park yesterday August 24th with my four grandchildren ages six to fifteen. It was $15.00 for 40 minutes which I thought was reasonable, until I was told by a teenager I was not permitted to go in with them unless I purchased a ticket even though I'm in my sixties and had no intention of going on the slides. I was told I could stand outside the fence to watch I asked what would happen if one of my grandchildren needed help, I was told they had lifeguards. Even if I had paid I wouldn't be allowed near the slides I would have to stand on a platform far away from the slides. On top of everything you can't take pictures unless you are over 6 feet tall so you can look over the fence. My first grandchild who is six came down first (when you hit the water in the pool you hit hard), was crying after he hit the water the lifeguard who looked hung over and also looked like a teenager didn't even get out of her chair . When I yelled to Matty she finally got to her feet to RETRIEVE THE MAT , my granddaughter who is twelve came down then with the pool still being occupied by my grandson, I asked her to show him and help him to the stairs to get out of the pool. I was not only saddened by Matty getting hurt but so upset that these children trust me to keep them safe and I didn't. When Matty was safely out of the pool and I knew he was safe I ran in to tell the kids they were done with the slide. It was to late Joey my eight year old was coming down, lost his mat and hit the water he was pretty much hysterical because he was in pain, his back hit the slide several times on the way down. My fifteen year old grandson was on the slide next to him so he able to grab him, as the lifeguard watched from her chair. While I was inside getting my grandchildren, an adult came down the slide, hit the water and immediately had a bloody nose, the lifeguard didn't even move. I tried to find the owner or even someone who was mature enough or caring enough to listen but the only conversation I heard when I approached one of the girls was when they were shutting down and what bar they were going to meet at. I am not the type to go to a lawyer and I don't even want the money it's the policies that HAVE TO BE CHANGED AND THE EMPLOYEES.
Staff are rude to children and adults. Staff Won't let you keep a eye on your children except for in designated areas which is inadequate viewing for safety. We were told If we purchased another ticket we would be allowed to watch them closer. We are aware they are closing and not reopening next year, which could be why we were treated as bothersome and a inconvenience. I normally would not leave a review unless we had a unpleasant experience.
My kids had a blast. Friendly staff, very helpful with little kids! Family fun at an affordable price for a beach area. We will be back
It's small but it's something for the summer
The kids seem to enjoy it .the day was slow they let the kids stay extra time
Was not the water park we expected over priced
Wife purchase 4 certificates for entry for $20 each for the kids and us as stocking stuffers for Christmas. Expired end of year so we slated the last weekend to go. Wife had a medical issue and couldn’t attend. In line, I gave (did not sell – gave for free) the extra pass to a couple that was going to pay for entry. Employee saw this exchange and ran over to us, pushed her way between us, grabbed the printout from the other patron, and started yelling at me. She called me a thief and told me I was stealing from the company. I explained what I was doing – that we had an extra pass and that I was not selling it. The employee told me she knew exactly what I was doing, saw the whole thing, and again called me a thief. She pushed the pass back at me that she had taken. I asked to speak with a manager and she told me she was the manager (found out later she was the gate manager). Another employee gave me a corporate card (I asked for one) and wrote the manager’s name on it. When I started arguing with her, the manager called security and threatened to throw me off the premises if I persisted. We had driven two hours to get there and so I left it at that. I placed several calls to the facility and spoke to two managers. I asked for an apology (from the original employee) and my $20 back. Both assured they would get this done and neither ever bothered to follow-up on it. No way. Employees either have their heads up their backsides or don’t care or both. The park looks like it hasn’t been touched since the 1970s. We belong to 6-Flags New England and for $55 a year we each get unlimited access to their amusement park and water park. The 6-Flags water park is soooo much better than this it isn’t even in the same stratosphere. Apparently just changed ownership. Good luck. If you live down the street and want a place to go over the summer great. Otherwise, look elsewhere.
I've been employed as a Ocean Lifeguard in Misquamicut for almost 20 years and Water Wizz has always been great about letting me cool off after a long day on the beach. I went today for the last time and Ben was absolutely wonderful to me. While every employee was terrific, Ben went above and beyond. The slides and mats were in great condition and water was clean and beautiful. I am going to miss Water Wizz and the way they treat fellow Misquamicut employees. Best of luck wherever the future brings you.
Great family place to bring the family. Silvana loved it! Excellent way to spend a Saturday, we pray you stay open.
Awesome
Nice slides but gets old after about an hour
Nice fun for the children and great staff
This place wouldn’ve been fun if the slides weren’t concrete and the mats weren’t ripping. Also I loved the employee Anthony he should get a raise before this sh1t show closes
Lots of fun, well-run. Great activity for the whole family for a hot day!
One multi lane slide with curves, and another one straight one with vertical bumps. Fast and fun.
Awesome kids have so much fun!
The kids always have the best time at the Water Wizz. We go a few times a year, and make the best of memories there. Staff is always nice, and engaging. I would strongly recommend!
We all had a great time. Slides were great!
Absolutely LOVE IT,Best water park in RI, Across from the beachHope they make more water slides in the future. If you live in RI COME TO THIS PLACE. IM POSITIVE THIS IS NOT FOR THE WATER WIZZ IN MA. Edit: I’m so sad that the place is shutting down
I’m so sad to here it’s closing at the end of the season. This place is an amazing little water park perfect for families. It never gets to busy and it’s super clean. We have been going here for more than 7 years and we’re so sad to see it go. We’re hoping to come back one last time this summer. Water wiz thank you for everything. You have brought me and my family so much joy. I’m sorry to see all those kids from the summer camp review bombing the place. Have a good one!
I always like seafood I always love beer
Soooo fun! Clean affordable great staff
Frankly after the kids had been boogie boarding all day, they still kept going and going with the slides.
It is amazing place foreveryone.
Here's hoping someone purchases this place and keeps it going. 40 years is not enough!
Had such a blast there! And the staff is phenomenal!
My kids love this place. I'm sad to see it close.
Good fun for the family after a day at the beach.
Not good Hi thanks you for you
Had fun to bad they have to close for good
ooooo. dats hawt.
Only 5 slides,1 big one and 3 other normal ones. Not much there though
Had a great time the phone closed before I got to 5 star all day ...
Smaller than I expected but the kids had a blast!
Older attraction and looks as such, but WELL worth the money. Super fun, clean, staff was kind but diligent. A great addition to your beach day!
The best time ever today. We had the all day pass and it was worth every penny. Can't wait to go back
We had a great time
Best park ever!
Slides are open....slow right now. . I think it's a little expensive
Good fun place for kids and young adults water slides right on Westerly beach
The kids are still talking about the wonderful day they had at Water Wizz on Sunday. The owner Michael Kells saw the girls were a little scared so he took the time to show them they would be fine and actually walked them down to the pool and had them stand in it. Well that says it all...they never stopped going down the slides until it was time to leave. Thanks for a great day!!! Trish
Early Bird specials give you extra time and shorter lines!
Small and crowded but it has fun water attractions and it is across the street from the beach.Would recommend coming here
So...i k we not to expect a full water park by looking at the website. It's a small place...but the slides are great. My 3 year old was super happy with the 1 slide she could go down with a parent and my 9 year old loved all the slides and could go down alone. I went on the Sunday before 4th of july there were no lines...40 minute ticket is more than enough time. It's a nice activity to break up a beach day for the little ones. Slides are great for adults too. Will def make this a yearly stop, maybe more.
Great little water park! My kids had a great time
Nice !
Go there all the time. Love racing family down all the slides, fast and twisting. I like to always see the big splashes people make going down too. Would totally recommend, great staff, affordable, and kid-friendly.
Great place for the kids and a nice deck area with benches lockers if needed or just a cubby, 6 slides right across from some beautiful beaches
Beautiful views
Kids had a bit of fun but there is only 5 water slides, no lazy river, no resting pool, no sitting area for the parents (seating is outside of the fence).
Great place!!! Friendly staff!!!
This is a small water park, but a good amount of water attractions. Didn't feel overwhelmed and kids had a great time.
6 slides , not expensive a good place to cool off! nice waterpark and friendly people
A multitude of spectacularly fun slides suitable for the entire family. My kids and mother-in-law had more fun here on July 4th than they've ever had anywhere else on Earth. Actually, my son says this place is tied with Disneyland for level of fun. There are restaurants and snack bars with lobster-flavored ice cream across the street. Parking is free but usually fills up on nice days. Enjoy
Kids had a great time. Ages 11 & 13. Looks like it did 20 years ago. Sad to hear they will be closing end of this year.
Water wizz is the absolute best! Laid back friendly and accommodating staff. Our familys age range from 4-40 and everyone had a blast! It's an annual tradition.
Great small water park! Extremely clean, the staff was very strict but friendly. It made me feel safer that they were watching over my children as opposed to larger water parks with more lackadaisical employees
Kids absolutely love it here. They talk about going every year. There are multiple different slides for different ages. My 5yr old went last year for her first time and went down with daddy for the most part, but could have gone alone on some. This year she was much more brave and went down by herself, my 15yr old has been loving going for years with his cousins.
My trip to water wizz with my family was far from enjoyable. Not only do they have just 6 slides, they charge rediculous amounts for just 40 minutes of riding. The bathrooms were disgusting and looked as they hadn't been cleaned in months. Reguardless of this we were forced to shower in them by the staff before going on the slides. The slides are run-down and can be very painful when riding without a mat (My mat flew from under me multiple times due to the bumps and narrow turns). My son was struggling to get of the water while one of the incompetent teenage attendants just watched him. She looked hungover and smealt like marijuana. I ran over to help my son, jumping in the pool, while the female attendant was yelling at me to get out of the pool. I confronted her and told her to learn how to do her job. When I went to confront the manager I witnessed the perverted owner sexually harrassing one of the girls working there. The manager was a condescending douchebag and could care less what went on in the park. So for anyone thinking about taking a trip here, think again. This place is disgusting and filled with ignorant teenage employees and even worse management. DONT COME HERE!!!!!
This is one of our family happy places.
My kids found it boring
It is awesome! Me and my cousin go there every summer
Awesome beach view, very family friendly, and helpful staff!
Great place. Fun for the kids and parents
It's a great great stop with the kiddos!!!! Slides are SUPER fast so hang on tight!!
Awesome waterslide facility right across from the beach. My family has been coming here since the 80's. The owner and staff are always friendly, professional and willing to help. I also like that the bathrooms are ALWAYS clean. It's a great little spot to check out before or after enjoying a day at the beach!
So cool!!!!!
Took the place exclusive with a large group. Big Mike was a real gentleman. Very helpful and patient. The place reminded me of my childhood good clean fun. Would do it again and again. Thank you.
I loved it.
Be there for my Birthday again 6- 14
Water slides by the beach. It's fun and a bit pricey. Not sure if I will take my kid to it again.

Some things never change. Just as good today as it was 30 years ago.
