My 5 year old son was afraid of the "pre Halloween Frankenstein and Frankenstein's monster prop" in front of the ticket booth and next to the mini golf course. Due to my inability to console him I requested if they could just shut the barn door in front of it that they use at night to lock up for 10 minutes so we could pass and continue to play through. The two girls at the window said "uhhh no." My wife requested a refund and after much back and forth they issues coupons for a return at a later date. I understand that it is their right to keep the roller door open (the only thing on the barn was the animatronic prop) but for a kid friendly place to not close a "scary prop" for 10 minutes seems a little lazy and not kid friendly.

Everything was fun for our granddaughter she was so excited .. but, would be great if they could bring the snacks and food to at least edible! Especially for children... Please ....listen management... !!! You could make this place, The only place to be!!!

We just had our daughter’s 5th birthday party there today. From the MOMENT we walked in the door until the end of the party, our party hostesses took care of every detail! They were very flexible and made sure the party ran smoothly! All of our guests had a great time, and it allowed us to actually enjoy the party! I would absolutely come back again!!!

My son was harrassed by a grown man, yelling him to get out of the batting cages. Let the kids have a turn. You have been in there long enough. I was getting us food. I dont appreciate that and we wont be back. Not because of the staff or facilities. Because if ignorance....

They had an employee there parking cars? It was busy but, no one needed to be parked. He was in the direct sun light with no shade and no water. We didn't stay, so I can't tell you anything beyond that except that their prices are outrageous. 2 something for a water or 2 for 5$. I can get a pack of 35 for $3.99. I get it, it's an amusement place but, still.... For water, that's nuts.

I've been to Sonny's more times than I can count however tonight was by far the worst experience. One of the staff members working the counter was extremely rude and short with the guests. They had one person working the register with an extremely long line. The bathrooms were disgusting, covered in flies and toilet paper. Pictured is the mozzarella sticks... If you can even call them that. We ordered three ice creams at the end of the night and two of them were incorrect. With the amount of money people spend here I would expect way more quality out of this place.

Too crowded and a bit expensive for basic rides. Can have options for day pass or something but it's ideal for 1-2 hours of fun. But there is something for everyone, kids really love the play place although the outdoor placement makes it hard in summers. The MaryGoAround and Screaming/Roaring Eagle is great stuff and the arcade is fun filled for teenagers & grownups.

Tried taking my 4 year old for a ride on go karts. Not kid friendly despite claiming to be. Got intentionally spun out by a driver and then hit head on by a driver behind us. Instead of kicking the aggressive driver off, they asked us if we wanted to get off the ride - which of course we did since my kid was in tears. They refused to refund our $12 and only offered to give us a credit. Enjoy the $12. I wouldn't bring your kids on the karts unless they're at least 6 or 7.

Sonny's is a great place for everyone. Families, dates, birthday parties, just hanging out. Lots to do. Bring socks for the Playland so you don't get charged for socks. Similar to Nomads where you get a card full of money and then walk around and pay for each activity.

New place fun for children of all ages. Descent bar. Family style food...chicken, hamburg's, hot dogs, fried fish. Indoor open air pavilions for seating. Restaurant has indoor seating. Great for kids birthday parties or special events. You can pay for rides and fun things individually. Can be expensive. Great corn maze and haunted hay ride in the fall. Free parking. Local bands play there almost every day. Always adding new things as they expand every other year. Clean!

Very fun, good mini golf and arcade. The go carts are fun, but the 'zip line' isnt what you'd expect. for is good, but not worth the money. I would recomend for the day, but I suggest bringing your own snacks. Bathrooms are clean but have a long line. Overall fun for once in a while, but not something to do often.

Took my son here to play mini golf and ended up staying for a few hours. They really have everything from golf to go carts and an arcade. They also have food and a place to sit and eat which was nice as kids are always hungry. Would definitely recommend this place.

It has many things to do for all ages. It has a game room, laser tag, a carousel, mini golf, go karts, batting cages, a couple of rides, virtual reality, and a play scape of kids. It is a truly amazing and fun place.

Very nicely kept destination, for adults and kids. We did a small corporate outing and hit many venues including mini golf, go carts, carousel, zip line. Fun! Highly recommended for an afternoon or evening visit - they even had live music queuing up as we were leaving.

We brought 2 youngsters there for lunch and FUN. They loved the hot dog luncheon and were delighted to spend their after lunch time in the jump house and on the carousel. The people in charge made sure they were aware of the rules and were very watchful and caring. A GREAT TIME WAS HAD BY ALL!

We are visiting the place very often, always nice and clean till today that we experienced really bad stuff manners, the stuff person in arcade was the girl with blond long hair ahe was rude and didn't know how to deal with people no thank you no please and when I asked for the management she said that nobody is present. So disappointed.

We had a lot of fun.They had a lot to offer. I brought 3 kids and they had a blast. The only complaint I have is the first time I went there I got there at 11:40 and they didn't tell us they were closing at noon for a party. They still sold me $40 worth of Sonny money even though my kids couldn't go on anything we had to leave. I thought that was rude. I wouldn't have spent the $40 that day if I knew they were closing in 20 minutes I would have waited for another day

This place is a lot of fun. Went there with the kids on a weekday in the summer. Had ice cream, rode the gocarts and spent a lot of time on the monkey jumpers. The kids loved it. They have an arcade there too. It isn't inexpensive but as an occasional treat it's a great outing for the family.

9/28/19. Wow, what an awesome place. First time I have been to Sonny's place in Somers, CT, and I am glad my kids and I went. So much to do here, such as minature golf, arcade, virtual reality, bowling, batting cages, zip line, carrosel, haunted hay ride going now for halloween, go cart track, climbing wall, food galore. You can have birthday parties here as well. If you need something to do that is fun for kids and adults, you need to stop in. You will not be disappointed. I recommend this to everyone. Have a great time.

Had a chance to go to Sonny's Place this weekend, was a lot of fun. There was plenty to do for little kids. Go cart racing was by far the most fun thing that we did, the carts were quick and the track was exciting. The giant play place was a favorite for my kids who almost never wanted to come out of it.

A nice place to spend a few hours with family. Food is surprisingly priced lower than anticipated and was very good. You will spend money per each ride/attraction; sometimes $6 or $7 per ride BUT there is no fee for admission to park so there is a balance. There are a limited number of rides/ attractions which is why only an hour or 2 is all you need there. The crowds were small and the park was immaculate. Parking was free. Employees were very helpful, neat in appearance, and well spoken. I did not question the capacity of the ride operators as I would at the large New England theme park in Agawam or the West Springfield fair.

Sonny's is turning into a nice place for adults to peacefully co-exist with children. Sunday late afternoon (after my Bridge game) brought The King Band a very, very high energy rockin' band. I get tired just watching Melissa's boundless energy on stage and on the dance floor. She and brother Jeff King put on a really good show there for the whole family. And they announced they would be back in the Fall!

Sonny's Place has a little bit of everything; it's a wonderland for the kid crowd! We spent most of the evening at the arcade, which has a great selection of games (from giant Space Invaders, to bowling, and everything in between). There's batting cages and mini golf, and a little snack bar if the munchkins need a bite to keep their energy up. Fair warning, it can get pricy if the kids want to do EVERY thing, but it's a great way to spend a day!

We have been coming for years and it just gets too crowded for us now. Glad to see the business doing well, but miss when you could go and not have a wait to play mini golf for the amount of time you do now. Recommend maybe building another mini course to break up the amount of people. Overall, still love Sonny's, just miss when it wasn't as crazy as it gets now.

Went today for the first time. Cool place to have some family fun. Staff we interacted with were very nice. Everyone there had a smile on their face and seemed to really be having a good time. We let our 2.5 year old son go into the big jungle gym thing. He didn't really understand what it was about and the staff member showed him what to do and he was off having fun after that. 2 hours he was climbing all around and had a wonderful time. We only paid $7 for him to climb as long as he wanted. We will be back.

This is a very casual family place offering fun for all ages. Beer, bumper cars, ice cream, golf, and seasonal attractions, Sonny's Place is a great local place to visit, even for a quick bite. I have been going here for years, and would definitely opt to go here over attractions such as the Big E, which I'd exactly what I did yesterday. It is always enjoyable, and nice to have an ice cream after golf, and then some cool off time in the arcade. Visit this place and check them out. You will not be disappointed. We sure haven't even after about 4 years here. Please visit this place, and support local attractions. Even if mini golf is not your thing, live music is often played at the bar. Pretty neat. Go check it out, before they close for winter! Friendly staff also, they don't seem rushed, even though their busy. Go check it out, and always stay local! Great place to support after all this time. We went to Sonny's for the first time this summer with my boys ages 3 and 5. They absolutely loved it! They had a blast I'm the playplace. They also loved the carousel and mini golfing. They were a bit too small for some of the other things still, but that means they have things to look forward to. There was also great food for lunch. I can see us going here for many years to come.

Best place to go to with anyone of any age in the family. Always something to do. The parking lot may look packed but everyone is distributed out amongst all the activities so you never have to wait or be crowded. We love Sonny's!

I was at Sonny's Place last week for a retirement party, held outside under a tent on a beautiful day. The lunch was served as a buffet, and the food was basic hamburgers and chicken, and was good, but not memorable in any way. All of the activities they have there are impressive, such as the large indoor arcade, the zipline, the mini golf course, etc. It would be a fun place for a date night or special family outing, but be prepared to spend a LOT of money! There are no bargains here, in my opinion, or I would have given it more "stars."
