Great place to go with family, and really cheap specially on Fridays after 5. Water park is cool and rides are nice. It's kinda messy tho, there are many things that dlnt get cleaned but for the rest it's a great place to go to.

This is a great family spot. Perfect for a one-day adventure. We spent the morning in the water park and the afternoon on the other side of the park and it was perfect. The wooden roller coaster is fantastic! Staff is generally very nice and friendly and happy to help. If we lived closer I'd definitely get season passes. Even the concession foods are good.

It's a great place to bring kids to play in small rides, the water park, and even the beach. The staff is real friendly too. In the summer though, it's full of kids from summer camps. The food is overpriced, as any other park ever is. For some reason I got stomach sickness out of eating there.

This place was clean, convenient, and a smaller scale of an amusement park. It had a very nice beach on a beautiful lake. On another note the the employees were rude and not friendly. Other than the restaurant employees who were very nice. One ride attendant employee looked at everything but the children that were riding the ride. Get it together Quassy!

Evening prices are somewhat high. Since we get very few dates that we can go in water after 5pm. Also need improvement in quality of food. Especially sandwiches and coffee, these are what I tried and very disappointed. Still a good place to go for the family and spend time together.

The driving is very long from New York city which taken me about a 2 hour and 55 minutes. The car park in very excellent condition able too park. Only thing to pay in able too hand band. The rides are free and food is not free at all also soft drinks as well. The rest room is clean but need a toilet paper inside of the staill as a Man and woman area. The area is need bath area for a men and awoman .

Went here the day before Labor Day and had a fantastic time with my family! This park is geared towards a younger crowd but, you’d be able to find a ride for pretty much everyone. Loved that it was clean, spacious and there wasn’t much of a line. The only downfall of this place is how pricey and mediocre the food is. I would definitely come back and bring my own snacks.

I took my daughter and granddaughter to Quassy today. The last time that I was there was when my daughters were younger and, yes, it was kind of run down but it always had a special charm that only Quassy could have. Well it still has the special Quassy charm and it is clean, staffed by friendly young workers, and moderately priced. It is most definitely a great alternative to the overpriced parks if you have a family and are looking for some nice wholesome fun,

Prices were high and the bathrooms were disgusting especially by the pool park where the men’s room smell of pee and u can smell it from the outside also... the bathroom walking into the park wasn’t kept. I’m trying to think of something nice to say... the kiddie rides were nice but they could use more variety of kids rids they had like 5-6 toddler rides... the funnel cake was good.

Family loves this place and we've been coming here for years. My son tells everyone about Quassy. Great for families as they have both a water park with beach and amusement park in one. You can even bring your own food and picnic on site.

Sadly, our day was cut short with the storm. I just want to say thank you to the amazing staff for giving us a great day. We came to visit CT for a funeral, and this park made my kids trip a lot more positive. The ladies working the pirate ship, free fallin, and the workers on the roller coaster were just absolutely amazing! My kids went on the rides multiple times in a row, and not once did they complain. They smiled each time, and continued to make our day wonderful! We will definitely recommend this park to any friends and who visit Connecticut!

Hadn't gone since I was 8, but they kept the place looking good all these years. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Mostly kids rides, but there's enough to keep adults entertained too. And they serve beer and wine so hey, there's that.

It was easy to park, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The rides didn't have long lines or a big wait, and the water park was clean and well run. We only stayed for about 4 hours and covered most of it at a relaxed pace. My kids are 12 and 9 and they enjoyed themselves. If you don't want to spend money on food and drink, you can bring a packed cooler and because the lot is so accessible, it's easy to leave it in the car until you're ready. It's smaller but easier than a six flags or similar, but that's also what I liked about it. Definitely recommended!

I've been going since I was a kid. Very cute place if you have smaller children or just for a date. The rides are small but fun. The wait for the wooden roller coaster was a little long but nothing like a 6 flags or Disney. Food is very over priced and nothing for someone with food allergies.

Quassy has been around forever as a nice, low cost amusement park geared more to younger kids (5-12). But that doesn't mean adults can't have fun. Beats having to wait 30 minutes in line at a major amusement park for a 2 minute ride. The water park is awesome in the summer heat. Food and drinks are pricey. A Ferris wheel would really make it even better.

Quiet and medium size hybrid (water and regular amusement park) . The park was smallish so it is easy to go around and cover all the rides in a short time. The park does need a little updating but it could be that its theme. The staff is nice and very accommodating

It would have been 5 stars but they only have one roller coaster. Small park nothing like 6 flags but if you get there right when they open you will have the chance to go on all the rides they have to offer more than once. This park is gears more towards children than adults. They have an awesome beach front and some pretty cool water rides as well so bring a bathing suit !

I have been going to quassy for 4 years and always had a great time. Just went today July 26,2019 and had the worst time the staff in the water park were very rude and disrespectful. So we left and went on the rides. My son who is also a make a wish child was able to go on the tea cup ride with his older sister age 17 and then on the way out he wanted to go on again and the girl who was working the ride was very rude and wouldn't let him on . I am sad to say but after this experience I will never return here again.

Good prices and family fun. Not the largest park, but just the right size to spend a half day or more. Enjoy the beach and water park in the warm months to cool off. Sad to see some of the rides closing down with 15 minutes to go, and at least three others were closed for various reasons also. Regardless, we always enjoy our time here, and appreciate the value.

So much fun. We went for a school event and there was just so much to do. It seemed small when we arrived but even without the water park open we were able to keep the kids busy for over 3 hours. The arcade was fun and fairly inexpensive. The food was pretty good. There is a huge section for smaller kids so don't be afraid to take the little ones.

Spent the day there with my family. Enjoyed watching my 2 year old granddaughter, 5 yr old grandson, and my 4 yr old grandson going on the rides. Looking forward to going again in the summer. The only downside of the park is the high prices of the food. Next time we go, we will bring our own.

It was a very hot day. Came with a newborn and toddler. So crowded with disrespectful people. Someone almost hit my newborn with a ball from one of the games. Food is expensive and the entrance as well(paid almost $70 for 3 people and had to leave within 10 mins. Couldn't do it. Kids were very aggressive with no manners. Won't be coming back.

Great experience! and we got to spend time with the family but the food was gross everywhere we went and it came out cold! :/ I recommend you just bringing your own food..(which is allowed) theres not alot of seats for us to use unless we bring our own.. and the parking was a tight squeeze.. we barely made it out :/ and the waterpark was confusing with the lines but but (no long wait) The lake was nice, clean and warm and the rides where good (no long wait)

Very enjoyable for all! There’s a large selection of rides, and atleast a few that will fit you! Its particularly fun for younger people. And for the boat ride section, its only 15$ and if you come back in 30 minutes, you get half back!

Just got home and i want to go again tomorrow!! Loved it. The restrooms are clean.This is the first time i say this about a public restroom. The food is expensive. $3.50 for water, everything else 6 dollars and up. They sell cheeseburgers, hotdogs, chicken fingers, fries, soda, fried dough, and beer. All the rides are awesome. The food tastes good. The staff was really nice. I have never been to a place where everything was perfect. I cant wait to go again.

I would give Quassy 5 stars usually because it is a great family orientated small park and prices are quite reasonable if you want to have it all for your bucks. However, recently on this one particular day an employee ruin our trip to the park when we tried to get on a ride. He basically shouted at me and my children and I had to challenge his behavior. This employee seemed annoyed by his job. When we first approached the ride, he was actually sitting on the ride. He wasn't welcoming at all. He had a very unpleasant facial expression and terrible attitude. Then he went over the instructions for the rides as if he was an auctioneer. After we went on the ride he yelled at us for going on without his help. I was completely annoyed thereafter and complained to the supervisor and all she did was stared at me and never seemed to have the right words to say. I ask to escalate my complaint and I heard the owner over the wakie takie mentioned to her that he didn't have the time in the moment but afterwards met with me. After, I voice my concerns. The manager seemed unprofessional, overwhelmed and irresponsible. The owner George explained that he had spoken to his employees before in the past about having great customer service skills but it didn't show on this particular day and I know it couldn't have been a bad day on this employees part. It seemed as though it was his baseline personality. Because after I ask for the manager initially after the incident, without any apology he just quickly called because he knew nothing would've been done to correct his behavior. After meeting with the manager his professionalism showed how overwhelmed he was because he was also complaining about other issues customers had to me and how he had to deal with all of them. Also during our conversation there were employees who were running in and out of the office giggling and playing around and he was constantly telling them "not now". I think the property owner and employees needs reeducation on how to deal with customers. Otherwise from this experience. I cannot complain about anything else. It is a really nice park and not all employees were unpleasant

You could tell that the oil was old, because the onion rings and fries were really dark, and the quality of food wasn't really worth the $50 we paid for it. Overall we had a great time, just next time we'll order a pizza or pack our own food and go back to the car with it.

Very nice place to bring kids and spend family time together. A number of activities to take part in. Cost for water park and theme park are separate costs. The water park area does have a small beach area. Parking area has plenty of parking spaces.

I am truly sorry to hear that one of the kindest, hard working employees went through a horrible experience. Stevie P made my kids feel like they were her own. Quassy, I am truly disgusted by how she was treated. I watched her at the beginning of the season run back and forth to operate two rides at once by the lake and inside the kid roller coaster then the free fall and slide. We will not be returning. I hope you make amends to her as quickly as possible. I will be messaging everyone (17 people) who are on here saying how great she was at her job. I am a state trooper, and will also make sure we go to another park with our children. You’ve lost a great worker, and this Sarah girl should be fired immediately. Stevie, if I were you I would sue quassy. Thank you

Been coming here since I was a kid, and have enjoyed watching it evolve and grow while also maintaining that small amusement park feel. I'm always happy they haven't sold out and become "Six Flags Quassy". It's the perfect size for a family outing, and my family always has a blast. Yes, some stuff is older and the paint is chipping in places, but that adds to the charm. They are always upgrading rides and adding new stuff. Staff is always fantastic, from the teens that usually run the rides, to the upper management They have even gone above and beyond after I foolishly lost my phone on a coaster a few years back....I miraculously got it back a couple weeks later.

This is a great place for families with your children, I would estimate she 4-12. With that said it is about perspective don't got to Quassy for a Six Flags expected adventure or you will be sorely disappointed but if your pre-teens want some family fun this is an excellent local CT. family fun getaway.

Very nice park with decent number rides, both water slides and attractions. They even run magic show which was quite entertaining. Lines are not too long also we visited on weekend. The only lines were at some waterslides, but not in the ammusement section. Lake by the park is also beautiful and we enjoyed riding the pedal boat, although they do not let go too far from the deck, which would be great to explore the lake.

The watermark was amazing! There’s a side for my 3 year old and my 2, 12 year olds to enjoy. This park has everything for kids and adults. I want to send a special thank you to the workers in the water park, all of them, wooden warrior (there were 2 amazing kids there) that music ride, free fall(Stevie)frog hopper, pirate ship(a Spanish girl), and frantic(georgette} and the bouncing buggies (Kathleen) My kids just stayed on those rides all day long, even though there was such an amazing mix of age appropriate rides. I do recommend better prices for food! However, it was the perfect day for us to go for 5 hours. Not to hot and no lines! Stevie (free falling) recommended for us to get season passes since I told her we will be coming back often and I think that’s exactly what we will do. Once again, absolutely amazing day. I don’t know how anyone could leave a bad review about this amazing amusement park. It’s just the perfect size for a family of any size and ages

It was fun with the NEW waterslides but the rides we're outdated and old. The rides would screech or crack, I even found 10 loose nails and one piece of broken, rotten wood. The facilities weren't that great either. I don't recommend coming here. I would only come here to go on the water slides which were the best part and also the newest.

Well, we aren’t coming back. we went a few times this summer. Expensive, horrible food but the kids loved the waterpark and the rides, My daughter had a special connection with a couple of the workers but mostly Stevie. I looked up quassy this AM to make sure it was still open bc they start school Tuesday and I wanted my daughter to be able to see Stevie again and we had talked about her being our babysitter through the fall- winter months. We will never be returning, and Stevie please email us. If you remember who we are, my husband is the lawyer and wants to help you very badly. I want to know right now if quassy has made any attempt to call her since she’s quit and tried to make this right before she has to involve a lawyer. More so, I want to know if Sarah was fired, I do know the manager she’s speaking about because it’s the one Stevie ran my daughter to- as we went to first aid when she scraped her knee and the “manager” didn’t care one bit. She was rude, obnoxiously loud about it only being a scraped knee and Stevie shouldn’t have left the ride (hot air balloons) even though there was someone there to operate it and my daughter WANTED and cried for Stevie to bring her over. That day I don’t know how my kids managed it but they stayed on all the 3 rides on the lake and we had to drag them away but Stevie promised she would be there all day for them . You don’t get good, I’m sorry amazing customer service like that these days anywhere. Quassy, you made a big mistake keeping that manager instead of an amazing worker. Stevie we are so sorry for what happened, our offer is still out there for a babysitting position. This is my email, your phone number has changed so I’m very happy you posted here. We will be emailing you, and promise to pay you well over what the $10.10 you made there. You should’ve been making at least $15 an hour there. We will be In touch now. Quassy, you need to fire everyone and start fresh with people who actually want to work there and know how to treat children.

Absolutely loved it! Took a trip out there just for the park and it was absolutely worth it. The only thing is, the temperature of the water in the waterpark, extremely cold. It would have to feel over 100° for the water to feel pleasant. But regardless, if you have kids (or not) and you're contemplating on going, DO IT!!!

Great facilities and entertainment for children 3+. Clean lake and beach. Lots of staff ensuring customer safety and enjoyment. The reason I can give five starts is because when we parked upon arriving and again when walking to our car upon exit I could hear inappropriate and explicit language being used by Quasy parking attendants/staff.

Fifty cents Fridays !!!! Hot dogs and small Pepsi's from 5p.m. till close on Fridays ! Admission 16$ for adults after 5p.m. , includes waterpark and lake. Lake is very clean. Park is small but just enough for a child and perfect for their first time. Water park and slides awesome.

Came for the Oktoberfest. Excellent live band playing German music, the food was excellent, great beer, and the rides, though small in number, are great. I have to say that the wooden roller coaster is such a great surprise. Small but mighty!!

We had such a great day! We went on a wednesday when tickets are half price! It was hardly busy and we didn't have to wait on any lines in both the water park and amusement park. The weather was perfect to lounge by the lake.

Hadn't gone since I was 8, but they kept the place looking good all these years. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Mostly kids rides, but there's enough to keep adults entertained too. And they serve beer and wine so hey, there's that.

Great small amusement park with rides suitable up to around the age of 10ish. Staff are very polite and attentive. Lines extremely short. Was able to stay on the roller coaster 3 times before there were people in line and we had to get off and get back in line. This was September 22nd so I'm sure the lines are a bit longer during summer. They have water slides that werent open due to the time of year. Park is small enough to walk around without getting tired. Overall great value for your money. Will go again.

Had so much fun with my family we decided to get next year's season pass. It's a perfect park if you have smaller children. Most of the rides could be used without an adult by my 5 year old.

Guy running the little dipper 7/15 7:30pm has an attitude problem and my child has noticed it. He needs more training especially if he is going to be running a kiddie ride. The girls working the wooden warrior were doing a wonderful job though.

Lakeside fun! This place is good for a family outing with kids under 14 or for older teens who want a place to have fun without their parents. For a small park they have a decent selection of rides. There's also a beach, a few games and paddle boats available for rent. Good parking and decent prices. The only knock on this place would be the overpriced food, but that's standard for all amusement parks.

My family absolutely loved Quassy Amusement & Water Park. It's not huge, but there's so much to do. And even with a packed parking lot, there was never a wait to get on a ride and there was never crowding. The employees were all very friendly and the location is absolutely beautiful. And I highly recommend the Wooden Warrior. I hadn't been on a roller coaster in years, and this was my daughter's first time, and we were both so absolutely thrilled, we rode it 3 times.

I've been going since I was a kid. Very cute place if you have smaller children or just for a date. The rides are small but fun. The wait for the wooden roller coaster was a little long but nothing like a 6 flags or Disney. Food is very over priced and nothing for someone with food allergies.

Great day, just like I remembered it as a kid. A huge storm rolled in with no warning or advance from the park. It would have been nice if they made an announcement over the speakers so we had time to take cover, hence the 4 stars. But overall a great day!
