Had a blast last night! The owner was great. And the room that we played was the best "escape the room" I have played yet. I would definitely recommend Pursue the Clues. And you should too. If you have never tried an "escape game" or have and like the challenge. This was done perfect and for all skill types. I will be going back to try all the challenges Pursue the Clues has to offer.

The room we chose was so fun and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great time ! Especially in a small town like Torrington !

Pursue the Clues really rises above in their ability to make their experiences challenging, exciting and engaging. I also can't say enough good things about the owner and staff. BEST "ESCAPE ROOM" EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD!!! 6 of us went to Pursue the Clues on Saturday, October 29th. The experience exceeded my expectations. Vince, the owner was awesome and he has his place setup very nice! There's even a cool video game emulator with four controllers setup in the waiting room! My friends and I have done several escape rooms throughout Connecticut and NYC and honestly, this is one of the best. They have a nice introduction video to get you involved in the story and the staff was awesome and friendly. We did the "gold digger" story. The rooms were the perfect balance of challenging, engaging, and fun! Perfectly frustrating! You're wits and problem solving ability will definitely be challenged!!! It took all 6 of us to bring different things to the table in order to solve this. I can't wait to go back and try a new experience ASAP!!!!

This was so much fun! My friend used the Van Gogh game to ask a girl to prom, and while we didn't actually win the game my friend still won. The game was really well thought out and challenging, and absolutely works as a fantastic team builder. I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat to anyone.

This was a great time! Very well thought out, there were a lot of clever puzzles, but it was the stuff in plain sight that held us up the longest! We missed the time but were so close to the end they let us complete the room. It still felt great to be able to see it to the end. The owner had a great personality and answered any questions we had, and the introduction videos were hilarious! Thank you Vince for a great time! I will definitely be visiting again the next time I'm in the area!

The rooms are very challenging, but also very cool. My friends and I have done two rooms, and look forward to some new ones coming out. If for some reason you're not a huge fan of one, I highly recommend still going back to do another because each room is unique and do not necessarily use the same type of thinking to solve the puzzles. Check this place out for sure!

This place is awesome! This is my second time back and I'll keep returning! The thought and effort put into these rooms is incredible. I Have now done , "gold digger" and "Lenny hawkins sold his soul to play the blues." Two completely different rooms both very challenging and so much fun. It gets you thinking and laughing. Great activity for school, work, date nights!

We had an excellent time at PTC in Torrington, staff was awesome and while the general difficultly of the rooms was certainly a challenge hints were provided along the way and at the end they gave us a behind-the-scenes look at the puzzle itself - LOTS of thought was put into the experience. If you are looking for a genuine challenge you will not be disappointed. We'll be back for sure.

I've done lots of "puzzle rooms" around the country and even abroad and this was one of my favorites. The room was challenging but not impossible and the clues were enticing enough that we wanted to keep going. The owner is very thorough and added a lot of fun personal touches, like the intro videos. I also appreciated that safety was his first concern. 5 stars.

This was very entertaining without being impossible. This was my first time here and we almost finished the room. We needed about 2 minutes more. I recommend this place to anyone who has been too frustrated with other like businesses not making the clues distinguishable.

I went in with no 'adventure room' experience and had even more fun than I anticipated. The room we completed, Gold Digger, was challenging, rewarding, and entertaining to the max. Our group had a blast moving through the experience and we all wanted to go back right away. Even better than the room, the owner, Vince, has an incredible vision and character. He's not only welcoming and creative, but he wants to make sure you have a great time no matter how experienced you are with these types of games. He is mindful of his community and is clearly building something bigger than just a 'game.' He is incredibly talented and worth supporting. Would recommend 100%. Go, go, go!

We had such a great time celebrating my birthday with our first escape room adventure at Pursue the Clues! Being a Van Gogh fan, this game room was...a Gogh ;) with everyone wanting to return for another puzzle. My teenage nephew made a point to say what a great idea it was and it was "better than dinner out together." lol Rory was super helpful prepping us for the event and the fun started with the How To video which set the tone for a good time. We will definitely be back!

We did Mission is a Gogh with our group of 5. Before we started, I was nervous to hear that this isn't an Escape Room, per se, in that you aren't trying to get out of a locked room, but to complete some other objective instead. It worked out amazingly well with the theme, and we just barely ran out of time (5 more minutes probably would have been enough). Can't say enough good things about this place, and we will definitely be back.

What an amazing and fun adventure in an hour! We went to pursue of clues for a friends birthday and not sure what to expect but had a great time. The experience we had was challenging and fun although we couldn't solve the challenge. :( The clues were so creative and well thought out. The rooms are well designed and the owner(s) are so knowledgeable. You can see their passion and they are so happy to help or answer any questions. There are two experiences now and a few more will be coming up. Can't wait to try it again!

This was my first experience in an Escape Room type experience. TOTALLY exceeded my expectations! Much thought went into the design of the challenges and storyline. All in my party were more than satisfied, even though e fell a couple minutes short of completing the mission. We will be back to try another mission soon!

More mystery than escape. Having never done an "escape room" before, I was new to the whole game. Vince was helpful and thorough in his explanation, and I felt fully capable of solving the room. Unfortunately we didn't win, but left with good feelings nonetheless.

Fun time! Good for older kids and adults. It's challenging and a good activity for groups. The owner is a nice guy. Thought it was slightly pricey for the amount of time spent there but you can win prizes and the business makes regular donations to local charities. You can schedule games outside of regular hours and was told they can bring the game to you if you're having a special event. Would try it again.

CT has a lot to offer when it comes to Escape Room experiences like Pursue the Clues, but these guys really take care to do it right. The rooms are challenging and the staff is so friendly! A group of six of us went to Pursue the clues last night and chose the Murder Manor room. The owner was warm and welcoming. He explained everything, answered all our questions and genuinely wanted us to have a great time. We had a safety briefing and a video that set the story for the room. The room was perfect for our group as we are all pretty new to the escape/adventure room experience. Well thought out, good story line. We all played a part in our "escape" and it was a perfect night for bonding and teamwork. When we were done we had our picture taken with our favorite prop from the room. I highly recommend Pursue the Clues. We all had a blast and will be back to try the other rooms. Owner truly had a passion for the rooms and ensuring everyone had a great time!!!!

All I can say is I was very pleasantly surprised. I expected a hodgepodge of puzzles that were just shoehorned into a loose theme, but as the hour went on we ran into very well thought out puzzles with some very impressively thought out pieces. Between the hidden pin-pads and secret doors, I was caught between solving the puzzles and marveling at the ingenuity. I was reluctant to go in the first place, but now I can’t wait for my next shot.

We always have such a great time at Pursue the Clues! Last year, for his birthday, my son and his friends enjoyed cracking the codes and solving the puzzles for the Golddigger Bride challenge. Over Thanksgiving weekend we did the Murder Manor mission. And this time I got to play along, too. ;-) Vince and his team do a great job with the props and the clues. I love seeing how everyone has to work together and think outside of the box to figure out the clues. I highly recommend Pursue the Clues for a great family-friendly experience.
