This place is beyond all that I could have imagined. Who would have thought a place full of inflatables the temperature is always right. The staff are above and beyond people that truly find joy in making your childs event or any event one to remember.

Writing about the Norwalk CT store. I inquired about a party and they said this particular store does not have a kosher option like the other stores but I could not bring in kosher food in either. I said well it needs to be kosher food as our guests observe. I mean the kids need to eat! . They were not flexible at all. Not very accommodating to the Jewish community. If they offered a kosher menu like the other locations certainly I would buy the food from them. Since they don't offer it , telling people you can't bring kosher food eliminates anyone who is observant. I get that they want to sell you their food but we can't eat what they have. Finally the person I was on the phone with said they would email the manager to see if they could make an accommodation and get back to me the next day. No one ever got back to me. It's over a week later and I have booked elsewhere ... I booked somewhere they made it easy. Every other place I called was very accommodating and either offered kosher food or if not , we could bring it in they said. Pump it up is a total turnoff for this reason.

I don’t usually leave reviews but after my experience here I felt obligated to warn other parents who are looking into this facility for their children’s birthday party. I gave it 3 stars because despite the issues my child and their friends had a blast and booking was a breeze along with adding on their list of amenities which are extremely convenient if you are looking for a place that does it all. They called to confirm a week before, asked how many kids and if I wanted to add anything on, that was the only communication I had with them the week of the party. I had chose the 24 kid package and I explained to the rep that I had 20 kids coming and that the day of it might be less. They said that was fine and took a note for their records. In the confirmation email it has this blurb , “ These estimated figures are based on the number of children and quantities selected above. Your final cost may differ depending upon the actual number of children, food and other party add-ons and after all applicable taxes are applied. The balance is due on the day of your party. A suggested gratuity will be added to your final total. Please handle payment at the front desk at the closure of your event.” The day of the party, I told the party host I am not expecting all 20 kids and she said that’s fine. We ended up with 17 kids which I figured ok, I’ll do the 18 kid package since that made the most sense. At the end of the party when I go to pay the employee gave us a bill for 24 kids. I asked her why and she said because we chose the 24 kid package and that if we wanted to downgrade we had to do so 24 hours in advance. NO WHERE in the confirmation emails or website says this. I explained to her from the email blurb I was under the impression that I would pay for The package closest to how many kids attended. They went on to inform me that someone should’ve called me to confirm the actual number of kids the day before. I explained that clearly no one did and I am not paying for 7 extra spots that were not filled. After half an hour of back and forth of us refusing to backdown they called their owner and finally came back with the price for the 18 kid package. Honestly it shouldn’t have been like that period. If it says in the confirmation email that the price will vary depending on how many attend then they should’ve honored it from the beginning. Two other cons- the party photo package where they take 75+ pictures? They only took 30 pictures and it wasn’t even pictures of the Birthday child. And the bubble add on they have? They make it seem like it’s for the whole arena, It’s on a wall that blows it out about 1 foot away. Ridiculous. My child has a big class and when their parents ask about this place I will tell them to save the trouble and go somewhere else and avoid the headache.

Held my daughter’s birthday party here and was very impressed by the two party pros who hosted the event for us. Malik and Joseph had the tremendous responsibility to engage the kids in our group (ages 1-11) and they did it without a hitch. The guys hyped up the kids for the relay races, played soccer with those who didn’t feel like jumping, took pics of all the action for our whole event (this slide show then played in the party room where we ate), and were excellent hosts and as they managed to serve pizza and cake while simultaneously conducting trivia games to keep the kids from getting restless once the bouncing time was over. Lastly, they did a great job making the birthday girl feel like the true guest of honor by frequently giving her bday shoutouts and having the others celebrate her as well. I wanted to leave the guys a good tip for all their hard work but Malik politely declined a personal tip and said he could not accept this and kindly redirected us to the front cashier who could take a group tip. Overall, the bday party at Pump It Up exceeded out expectations but the true stars were the young men that brought the party to life. Well done, guys!

Overall good place, has different sections, good for birthday parties and events... Food menu has Indian options, adults too could join kids for jumping. This place is not huge as compared to few others in Orange and Trumbull. Parking could be tricky as the entrance is misleading.

This place is horrible. I sent my daughter there for camp during this Spring Break. One day when I walked into the door to pick her up, she was standing in the lobby without any supervision. When she saw me she started to cry and was very scared. I was trying to talk to the staff but no one was responding. At that time, anyone could take her or she could run out of the door and got hit in the parking lot. I was furious and wanted to sue this place. I wouldn't recommend anyone going there! If you want your child to have a safe camp, this place isn't the one!

Pump it up is a very fun place perfect for all ages! Most of the employees are very nice. They are always willing to have fun! But, sometimes not enough staff are hired. It is perfect for my kids who are 14, 11, 6, and 3. They have camps which are fun for the kids and planned jumps also like the snowball fight jump. Prices are very good and are usually around $15. If you are in the area you have to go to Pump it up!

We have been coming here for a year now and my three year old loves it! Staff is always polite and nice. I also love the fact you can go on the bounce house with your child if needed, many other bounce houses don't let you. Would deff recommend !

We attended a well orchestrated birthday party for a 4 and 6 year old. Their staff were friendly and well organized with a real agenda of activities that have structure to the time while still allowing the kids the freedom to play freely. It's a pretty large place with a couple of rooms with very large inflatable playscapes (watch you don't lose a kid in there ;) ). Like things like mobile racks for the shoes and a bin for gifts made the logistics easy and show that this place knows what they're doing. We brought our own food for our food allergies, and they marked it with our children names to make sure we had it at Pizza time.

My son likes jumping at Pump it up. So, I bought a groupon pass for 5 open jumps each valued at 10.95. Based on my experience trying to use the coupon, i believe they either don't want or value repeat customers. When i tried using an open jump pass for a freaky friday jump (bounce price is $5.48 per child) on 7th April for my son and his buddy, I was told i have to use 2 open passes ($21.9 value) or pay for the jump ($10.96). Also, please be aware that most of their open jumps (pizza jump, little tikes jump and snack, ice cream jump etc) are all priced higher and you would have to pay the difference even if you just want the jump. I definitely wouldn't recommend buying multiple jump passes 05/09/2017 - Its been a week. No one has reached out to me yet. I'm still waiting to hear back if they would honor open jump pass for ice cream/pizza jump if we just need the jump.

Camp run by kids with no concern for safety nor reliability. Last time i was there they opened 1 hour late only 2 employees present with over 15 kids. Try getting a call back to resolve any issue or concern, a call back is unheard of for them. Beyond poor customers service. Save yourself the headache and do not take your children there.

Very mixed feelings about this place. They hire cool kids who are willing to work on a Sunday night, but they make them look bad by not training them enough or by not giving them all the information regarding a certain event. That's poor management, not some bad regular employees.

I visited Pump it Up yesterday and I have to say this establishment never ceases to amaze me. From entering the front door until its time to go home the staff is on their A Game and last night was no exception. Going to give a special thanks to Joey who was overseeing open jump last night he was fabulous! He gave the kids space to play and explore but was right there to lend a hand when anyone got in a jam!! I cant say enough great things about the Pump it Up Norwalk Crew.... Pump it up is great not just for kids parties but also for the random afternoon you want to take your kid somewhere and to burn off energy. Staff is super friendly and if you go on their website you can look at the schedule for open jump which sometimes are half off! Gives the kids something to do while the parents can just chill out for an hour or so.

We’re here a lot during the cold weather months and have yet to have a bad experience. They hire good people who really like kids and are so helpful. I’ve always been impressed by their staff. My kids love it here and I love to bring them to get all of their energy out. It’s a great place if you have multiple young children because it’s all contained and they can’t get into much trouble.

Very nice staff I will say every time I've come, however, the place does need a good thorough cleaning of the play equipment and entire place. I have been to the Norwalk location several times within the past year and the same dust, dirty carpets and floors look the same time after time. The walls I noticed today in play room A had some white paint on the red and blue walls as if work was going to be done, but that's been like that for months said staff. The staircase in that same room has cobwebs and dust balls the size of the inflatables all over the stairs and floor. Carpets in both rooms appear as if they have not been vacuumed in months or years. In play room A my husband found dried up blood on the wider inflatable by the ladders. It was my husbands first time coming with me and was disappointed. My boys love coming but truly and highly recommend that a thorough cleaning of the place be done ASAP. Otherwise considering taking boys elsewhere after today.

I went to Pump It Up for my nephew's birthday two weeks ago. Awesome experience! The kids had a blast jumping in the inflatables for over an hour, the staff was very helpful and very good playing with the kids, and the place was very clean and safe. My brother and his wife had a seamless experience - from the minute we arrived, the staff met them at the parking lot to help them with the cake and gifts, until the minute we left. 5-star experience!

My 2 (almost 3) year old just went to the Valentine's party. Such a great time. Kids played on everything (without it being too crowded), there was a balloon drop and staff took photos..all before craft, pizza and cookies. When one of the staff, Ashley, learned it was my daughter's birthday, she made a big deal out of her. Staff couldn't 've nicer and my daughter had an awesome time.

My kid had a good time at pump it up, though he didn't played much in inflates as he is still learning to play when other kids are around. It was a birthday party event and we enjoyed it. They have 2 rooms with different bouncing inflates. We had visited a year before and can see few good changes. This time felt it was much open space in each room. Aug 12, 2018 I had my daughter's bday party yesterday and the attentiveness and preparedness and competence of the staff left a lot to be desired. We had the 15 kid deluxe package and 15 guests showed yet they somehow had enough plate-settings and pizza for 11 kids. They said they could order more but it would be 30 mins! They lost the candles we brought and not one staff member in the room made a move. I left the party and hunted down the manager to ask for a candle. They forgot the bubble room add-on and forgot to run the slideshow. At the end they found the candles and just shrugged their shoulders. Maybe it was an off day. Will not have another party there.

We are bouncy house superfans and often seek them out when on road trips or visiting family as a way to let our daughter stretch her legs. And our 3 year old loved this place! We didn't understand the way times work at first, but there are specific slots for example for pizza and jump, where the kids jump and then get pizza. Then we ended up doing the dark room/black light kids jump too, where the kids wear glow in the dark necklaces and jump to fun music. They have all the kids move between rooms half way through each slot which helps keep them from getting bored. The staff were incredibly nice, attentive, and on top of what adults were going where, which you want at a place to take your children. It was also very clean, and unlike some places we have gone, there were different levels of bouncy structures so our toddler could always find something she wanted to do. It was also very clean, bathrooms, floors everywhere, and the different structures. And they let parents help their children move around without hassle, unlike bounce town usa in Milford. So we could help her find her way through different structures, and even go down slides with her until she was comfortable on her own. My only complaint is that i wish they had a block of lockers for you to lock up a purse or coat. Leaving sneakers in one of the convenient cubbies is one thing, but leaving an expensive winter coat or purse i just cannot do. So we had to lug these things from place to place. That aside, we will definitely return whenever we visit family in CT, and would highly recommend this place to anyone with energetic, adventurous toddlers!!! Loved It!

They had everything set up in the room that I had brought in- balloons, dessert plates/napkins, goodie bags and Birthday sign. They were attentive and provided excellent customer service to me and all of my guests. Their patience and engagement with a room full of children ranging in ages 2 - 9 was amazing. We had a really good experience with a 24 child birthday package for 8 year olds. My kids LOVED the laser tag add on, and the balloon drop add on. I ordered one extra pizza in advance, but in hind sight, I wish I would have ordered a few extra pizzas as the kids were hungry (4pm-6pm party). The time in the pizza room felt just a little long since we did not do a pinata but the party hosts were incredible and kept things really upbeat. I could see us doing another PIU party one day.

I have been in several of these facilities with my 3 almost 4 year old and this is the only one where they dont treat like cows. They dont rush the kids to the next room. The kids actually can enjoy every room enough. My only tip for them is to have the food in the table nor ready to eat when the kids go to eat. After 1 and a half hours jumping they get really hungry and tired.

Love it. It is suitable for younger kids and you don't have to much to concern yourself with as employees are everywhere, friendly and they have good prices they also have camps and parties special days and I've found they have more open free jumps compared to other places around.

This place is a birthday party machine for 3-5 year olds! The “hosts” are all really nice and very good with the kids. Be prepared for bouncing, bubbles, games and dancing as they move you through 3 separate rooms. My kids loved it.
