Haystack Mountain State Park is amazing , the view from the top is amazing. I love the hiking and also the trails are very clean.

I went to haystack mountain State Park for the first time yesterday. The parkhas a long winding road that leads up to a small parking lot that can accommodate about 10 to 15 cars. The trailhead begins at the parking lot and it will take you about 20 minutes to get to the top. There is a cool castle at the summit and you can walk to the top and get some awesome panoramic views.

It was a nice and beautiful place. A very short hike and the 360 view from the tower was gorgeous a lot panoramic. You can turn and you can see wide range of beautiful mountain ⛰ a definitely a place to revisit.

Amazing views from the stone tower once you get to the top! There are a couple of trail options from the entrance or walk/drive up the road that takes you 3/4 of the way up. Make sure to enjoy the wonderful Norfolk downtown while you're there.

a very easy trail up to a great tower. i was lucky to meet a lady that was moving from CT and she told us stories about her and her childhood friends racing to the top and playing all day at the tower. that even made our trip here that more special. i hope she is doing well.

The hike up if your a newbie will have you complaining, once you reach the castle up 3 flights it's worth all the complaints. I didn't want to leave, the scenery the breeze was absolutely wonderful

Short walk up the trail rewards yourself with a great view after climbing the old stone tower. Quiet and not to much foot traffic. Would visit again
