Such a blast trying to figure out the puzzles in the Pirate Ship! Having done several escape rooms before, Complexity's first room definitely provided a challenge and a good time! Highly recommended to anyone seeking out a puzzle room. I will be back!

Great place for company team building. My daughter who is 10 went there for a birthday party and found it fun, but too challenging. Probably better suited for age 13 and up

We celebrated my daughter's 24th birthday here: my husband and I, five "kids" in their 20's, our 16 year old, and our two year old grandson. EVERYONE loved it! The owner, Michelle, couldn't have been nicer. It was so much fun solving the puzzles together! We rented a room afterwards to have cake and ice cream. We did "The Cat Burglar" challenge. We all want to try the "Pirate" room soon! We highly recommend Complexity!!!

Wow. Just wow. My friends are visiting from Europe and we took them to The Mall tonight. What fun! We escaped with a few minutes on the clock. Very clever. Very well done. This was my first experience. Thankfully I was with a clever group because this escape room was very elaborate with multiple “stores” that had to be opened, each with their own separate set of challenges. I’m excited to go back and experience the other rooms now!

Complexity came to US for a company holiday event at a restaurant in Avon, CT. An amazing team building experience for 26 of us to work all together and use our individual skills. Staff was very accommodating and professional. Highly recommend hiring them to come on site for company team building events!

This was my first “escape room” experience and it was great! Right from arrival I felt welcomed, informed, and comfortable. I was in a group of 3 and we did the pirate ship room. My two teammates had done other rooms so they helped me catch on quick. I was impressed with the design of the room. There were a lot of hand crafted elements, puzzle variations, and interaction with elements in the room. We needed several hints and the moderator was good at pointing us in tbe right direction without giving us explicit answers. I would highly recommend this for a fun night out or team building exercise. I will be back to try the other rooms.

My husband and I stopped to complete Complexity Games' Pirate Ship room while passing through on our way to Philadelphia. We try and incorporate escape rooms in all of our travels as a way to break up the ride and exercise our minds while moving around a bit. We have completed over 40 rooms in all of our travels. I would say that this experience in particular falls somewhere in the middle of the pack for us. The room is clearly constructed and the staff is incredibly welcoming and personable. Our game master, Wendy, did a great job with her clues and orientation to the room. Nothing particularly novel in the room and the puzzles weren't anything out of the ordinary. That being said - a very solid room. I would recommend the Pirate room for any folks new to escape rooms that happens to be in the area. Definitely not one I would send a great distance for.

I did the pirate room, where the theming of the puzzles was a delight. The staff are very friendly and especially good at orienting anyone who is doing an escape room for the first time. Definitely planning on going back to try the other rooms.

Took my fiance here for something fun to do on her birthday. We had never done any type of puzzle room before and had no clue what to expect. It was only the two of us and it was really cool that the room we booked was private saving us from embarrassment in front of strangers!!! The staff immediately welcomed us and explained to us the rules and then set us up with our scenario...let me just say that we are both in our 30's, and relatively smart and quick thinking individuals and I went in thinking this would be fun but also a piece of cake to solve. BOY WERE WE HUMBLED!!!!! The clues and puzzles were tough! Very quickly it became apparent that not only did we have to think fast, but very fast in order to get through the multitude of mind benders that this seemingly stark room presented to us. We had a time limit of 60min to solve the case, and after about 30min of doing everything on our own we realized we were def not halfway done yet and we started asking for help from the staff who monitors the game progress remotely. Even with their help we still didn't finish and when it was all over one of the staff came in and walked us through the last 3 clues that we just couldn't figure out. MIND BLOWN Defiantly coming back to try a different room. This is a must try for anyone!

Our group of 7, from 10 to 68 had a great time. Tough at first, but as we calmed down and started to think and work together things started to make sense. Can't wait to go back for the next challenge!

A large group of us did the Pirate Ship. We had a sight technical issue with our game but Michelle and Kelly worked it out and we were still able to finish in under an hour. Definitely check this place out. We'll be back to try the other two rooms.

I went here with my boy scout troop and I had a wonderful experiance. Very Nice Staff and very well thought challenges. It was an over all great experience I recommend going here for a great challenge and a fun time. It is a very small space but don't let that trick you into thinking it will be easy. You can choose from 3 different rooms. The Mall, Cat Burglar, and Priate Ship. I hope you enjoy your time like I did.

My husband and I did the blizzard room. We didn’t care much for it. The puzzles didn’t flow from one to the next and things were more random than other rooms as have done. Part of our room malfunctioned so we lost some time trying to figure out why we were getting the clues from it, so the girl came in and fixed it. Then one piece of a clue was missing from the room so we couldn’t figure out the puzzle. I though we should have gotten the game for free because of the malfunction and the fact that we lost time from it.

Did one of the rooms with a group of 8 people and we finished in about 45 minutes. It was a lot of fun, but how much fun your will have is super dependant on how well you work as a group.

Our staff (of 8) participated in a great exercise in teamwork, successfully escaping from the Pirate Ship puzzle room! Only one team member had previously done an escape / puzzle room, and the others were a little hesitant about what was going to happen. Michelle talked everyone through what to expect and helped provide guidance (when requested) to ensure a great experience. Everyone had a blast and can't wait to do another room in the future! Also, we were so appreciative of Michelle accommodating a special request for a non-listed time-of-day reservation.

Very friendly and accommodating staff for our Birthday night. The "Cat Burglar" room was very complex and challenging. Most of all it was FUN. This was most of all our people's first time doing an escape room. It was satisfying to solve each puzzle with my group of friends. Our group of nine became part of the standing record to solve the room and escape without asking for hints. More minds I think helps, although we were all friends... Not coworkers... Lol. This is an activity I look forward to doing again. Definitely a fun friends night activity... Drinks later

Complexity offered great fun and a great challenge. If you are ever in Farmington, CT I highly recommend checking it out (however, reservations are needed). We took on the pirate ship room. It offered difficult puzzles, but with some searching, and a few hints, they are possible to complete in the allotted time frame. Their is also a cat burglar room which I will definitely try my hand at in the future. Michelle, the owner, does a great job of telling you what to expect before entering the room, and offering feedback during and after the experience. If you want to put your brain through a fun workout, Complexity is the place to visit.
