We had a great time for a small birthday among friends. There was enough challenge to keep us busy and fun for all of us. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and explained the game well. Thank you!

Sabrina was amazing! She was super nice and fun to be around. She did a great job giving us clues and she has a great sense of humor! She is a valuable asset to the all in team and I hope to see her again when we return!!!!

The room we did was supposed to be for 8 people, but it was small for our party of 6. The puzzles were not set up in order and the puzzle portion only consisted of opening a series of locks. Compared to other escape rooms, this one felt cheap and not very clever. Also, there were too many irrelevant objects. My preference is a room where objects are placed intentionally. I also prefer clues that are not so obscure. Our group was figuring out the puzzles but the answers were a stretch from what we were given as a clue. It was not that we missed the connection... It was that the connection was not there. I'm a big fan of escape rooms in general, but found this one to be lacking.

This place was great, and though our start time was a little late, once we were in the room we had realized the hard work and commitment to make sure that room is 100% ready, with high standards ready for the next group of guest. We fully understand this ,and it was well worth the few extra minutes wait. Dakota and Allejandro were non stop, these two guy we're professional, kind, courteous and really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Dakota assisted with room description and the very attentive when we buzzed him. What a phenomenal staff, and great experience. Thanks for having us!

Great place for all ages

There are so many better escape rooms in Connecticut! The game could have been played on any counter top, nothing immersive, just a small room with a bunch of silver boxes with locks and laminated clue cards. Please don't judge escape rooms by this. No music, only dividers so you can hear the people next to you.

Wonderful experience with friends. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. They even gave us extra time when we couldn't finish within the time limit.

Patricia Ingram

This was not as expected. The room was MAYBE 8x10 in size. The price of securing a "private room" $160.00 is ridiculous for the experience. One hour time frame. VERY low tech, if you have experienced other types of escape rooms. Bummed out to have spent the money, my teens were too!

Awful, awful, awful, staff doesn't care.(didnt respond to clue requests ) thin walls you can hear everything they actually lock the doors it's a pure waste of time wouldn't go for half the price For the love of God don't waste your money here go-to puzzle theory the dudes who work there care unlike this place

We were trapped in Alcatraz! It was a lot of fun and the clues were challenging yet achievable. Sabrina was a doll - she set the stage perfectly, full of energy and fun! We’ll definitely return...

Mike Moretti

Our first time here we did Treasure Island and we had so much fun we went back the next day and did the Super Hero room. Both rooms were challenging and fun. The staff was very informative and helpful in moving us along when we got stuck.

Eric St. John

Had a great time! very clean and all the props were in very good shape the staff was friendly and professional, we will definitely be back!

This was our first experience at this escape room, and although fun, it could have been a lot better. We had reservations on a Saturday night, which turned out to be very busy, so we entered our room a little more than a half-hour late. They only had 2 staff on hand and though they were doing their best to accommodate you could tell they were overwhelmed. We were also disappointed about the lack of story, or as others have stated, immersion. Some little bit of story at the beginning would have been nice. It would also have been nice if the experience wasn’t just about opening locks. We finished the room at level 2 with time to spare to finish level 4, but level 4 was just more locks. We had fun for first-timers, but we will be going to try somewhere else next time. At $22 per person for 50 minutes, it could have been better.

Great time! This was my first time, and they were very helpful getting us going! Totally going back.

Really fun puzzles and friendly staff. Nice area very clean, not a long wait time either.

First time with 10 an 6 y/o. It was fun.

Andrea Lewis

Greatest customer Service!! Loved it.

Elizabeth Olson

Lots of fun. Always explain the rules and give good setting hints (this thing is part of the room, not the game, you shouldnt need to lift anything heavier than the 10yo can lift easily). Workers are always nice to us, and we have had a good time all 3 times we have gone here.

Had a great time- kudos to Seanna and Alejandro

I went with my husband and my younger sister. I am 21 my husband is 26 and my sister is 14. We failed the first room we did but had so much fun we went home had dinner and came back to do a second room in the same day. It’s challenging and exhilarating trying to race the clock. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We have passports and plan to fill them. Definitely check this place out.

Melanie Hitchcock

Awesome. Great staff. We had a great time & would definitely do this again.

Stephen McGoldrick

My wife and I had such a fun time and will definitely be going again! It's a blast to try and figure out the rooms. Great place

Joanne Doe

Had a wonderful time solving the Alcatraz room this weekend! I’m looking forward to solving more escape rooms here in the future :)

Samantha Macias

Honestly, it was ok. I have been to other escape rooms that were much better. I wasn't very impressed with the set up as you are just in a small room with all the lights on. I figured the zombie one would be creepy, but it wasn't at all. There is only a 5% success rate in this level 2 escape room is what we were told, and they have rooms up to level 5. The guy who ran it was kind of a jerk and accused me of breaking one of the toy guns that was part of the game. There was a magnet inside the gun's magazine that we thought was part of the game, but apparently it wasn't. This place lacked imagination in my opinion. Will not go back. Plus you only get 45 mins, when most placed give you an hour. And they would only give us 2 clues. I feel like giving this place 2 stars is generous.

Pam Cabrera

The staff was great and we had a wonderfuk time. Did not escape but had a great time

Kasim Sallaj

Room was small and puzzles were not very creative, didn't feel like the clues and theme fit

Went yesterday for the first time and it was the coolest great brain game and ken was really cool n helpful.. Definitely worth it and i see myself trying every room..

In addition to doing a room myself, I looked through some other reviews to try to find the best pros and cons that I could so I could do this review justice. My group and I did the Superhero room, this being my 8th room ever done, and for most of my group it was their 4th or 5th. Pricing at ~$25 per person is nice to hear considering its ~15% less expensive than most other rooms in the area, but keep in mind you also get ~15% less time (50 mins, at least for the room we did) As a big fan of escape rooms, I was very disappointed. While I can appreciate the fact that they had actual props in the room and not just a box with locks on it, there was zero attempt at immersion within the space. No music, no sound effects, and you're basically in little sections of the space rather than completely enclosed walls, meaning you can hear other groups. I know some people complain about the lack of tech in the rooms, but I have seen plenty of rooms with all locks and no tech do fantastic, but it all falls in the atmosphere. Next I want to address how the staff handles everything. Keep in mind that I'm sure a lot of things are out of their control as they have to follow what they are told to do by the owners, but some things in particular could have been improved regardless of that fact. When we first got there, our puzzle master walked out and talked to us in a dull tone, he sounded like he was not at all excited about anything going on there. I don't believe he even smiled until we got out at the end. Most places I've been to have the staff in a chipper mood to keep everybody motivated, even if its the fake "customer service smile", it is still an encouragement that everybody should have before taking on an escape room. As for how hints work, it is my understanding that they do not have cameras or mics in the rooms so they rely on a button on the door for you to ask for help if you need it. This is fine by me, again, I don't mind a lack of tech. However, this also means that at random point(s) throughout the room the puzzle master will knock on the door to check on you and see how everything is going. Sounds sweet, but it kills any shred of immersion this place has. We weren't even given any story beforehand. Lastly, there is one puzzle in particular I would like to address about the room we did. If you want to avoid spoilers, skip to the next paragraph, however I don't believe what I'm about to say is going to give much away. One thing that I hear in every escape room, including this one, is you do not have to take things apart. Obviously within reason, this means you don't have to force anything, unscrew anything, etc. There is one puzzle in the room in which you have to use actual tools (small wrenches and the like) to unscrew something. While it is obvious what you have to unscrew, it is not an easy situation of "okay I'll just put this here and do this." Our time ran out on this puzzle and when the puzzle master came in to show us how to do it, he had to put it on the floor, use one tool on one side, and another tool on the other to get it open the easiest. Whether you are a tool expert or have never touched one in your life, that kind of puzzle is very out of place in an escape room in my opinion. I hope my review brought some things to light for any readers. I will say, however, based on reviews I've read these may be the perfect rooms for smaller kids. I've talked with many escape room employees from other locations and they have said that typically smaller kids can get overwhelmed by the immersive atmosphere of some places and it can scare them. Rooms like the ones at All In Adventures are a good gateway for kids or first timers to get the gist of an escape room, but I beg you to not use these rooms as your impression of what all escape rooms are like (especially when there are plenty of other great ones in the area, one of which we did immediately after this one.)

Cool place to meet up with friends

Amy R

Fun family activity! From 11 to 77 yrs old....everyone contributed and enjoyed the challenge.

I had my daughters Bridal Shower there, last night, which was a Monday night. The guests did not mind paying for it. The staff is AWESOME - Seanne , helped me with picking the correct rooms, Sabrina was Awesome helping with the set up and Dakota made it fun and exciting. The bride and her friends (39 and under) did the Superhero Adventure since she loves bat man and the 40 and over did Sherlock Holmes Library. We had a ball. While Booking I was informed of a Catering Place in the Mall called Carnival Craze and they delivered and we at as soon as we got out of the room. Minimal Decorations were needed, we just did balloons and everyone is still talking about it. THANK YOU TO THE STAFF.

Had such a good time loved the Green Screen wall of Fame

Pretty fun escape room, with a good level of difficulty. Would be nice if it were a little bigger with more interactive props, etc, but in exchange for size they do offer many different room styles. Would go again.

Done other rooms here and Escape to Alcatraz seemed to be one we liked the best. Ken was very helpful in giving us details.

Alexandria Rivera

Booked a room at 530 for sometime after 7, was told to come at 710 for a 730 game. Waited an hour while it still had a lot of other teams for different rooms Super unorganized! Only 2 staff on for a Saturday night i felt bad for them. Nothing against the nice staff there but wow! Incredibly unorganized

Kayla Ennard

It's so exciting!

Delthia Ishmael

This was an amazing experience!!! Friendly and helpful staff!!! Would definitely come back again for another adventure!!

Andrea Quintiliani

I went with a group of 4 adults. We played a level 1 & 3 room. This was everyone’s first escape room experience and we had a great time! We moved quickly through level 1 and were able to tackle level 3 at no additional cost! We didn’t move as quickly through level 3 and we finished with only 30 seconds to spare! The kids that worked there clearly enjoy where they work. The atmosphere is very clever as well! Can’t wait to go back again and again!

Eric Cormier

So they told us the rooms could hold 8 people, sho we reserved a room for 6 people. When we're showed up there were two others that were gonna join party, we were not told there would be strangers in the room with us, disappointing. The room is NOT big enough for 8, about the size of a bath room, the puzzles are just clues and locks, not very interesting, the owner thinks is fancy cause he has like 5 different style locks. The props are lame. Very mediocre, not very inventive, 10/10 would not go again.

Sharon Hwang

There are much better escape rooms than this one in Connecticut. The puzzles were not fun or creative and involved a lot of reading of paper clues. The first verbal clue we were given was misleading and wasted at least 10 minutes. Looking back on the experience, we did not have any fun "Aha" moments or satisfying solving of puzzles. Please don't think this is a good representation of an escape room. Other escape rooms are multi-room experiences that involve at least another room to get into whereas this place you are locked into just one small room that felt cramped with just the two of us. I would not recommend going to this place whether you are a beginner or escape room enthusiast.

Leonardo Rosado-Moran

The Black Ops escape room was very challenging and our group enjoyed the experience. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. I would recommend this for a large group of friends 7-10 people. I even dreamt I had to solve puzzles to escape a planet that night!

Bethany Cerpovicz

All in all, we had a great experience. The staff was absolutely wonderful. We did treasure island.... I feel this is the ideal place if you have young children that want to experience an escape room. It's very family friendly. I do feel the hardest part was in the level 1 and moved very quickly through the second part which was the level 3 difficulty. But we had fun and I highly recommend for those who are wanting to try their first escape room and for families with younger kids. It was the perfect first one for my 7 year old and will definitely be going back.

Joe Eilert

Did the Houdini room and had a ton of fun! We had 4 people working together which helped us almost beat the whole thing, but were held up by one clue which we had figured out, but did not open for fear of damaging the piece. Overall, I highly recommend checking it out. Lots of options from easy to hard to try out.

AcornNutz 001

My parents, teenagers and I had a great time!

Jakrin Lanphouthacoul

Overall was not very satisfied with our experience. Had 50 minutes to escape the room and was told to press a button for a staff member to provide clues throughout the process. Got stuck at one point and pressed the button multiple times, and even knocked on the door but had no answer. When asked why no one was notified, was told it could've been a technical glitch and there was nothing they could do about it. Was not offered more time or anything else to compensate, it just really took away from our experience. Staff was friendly, but place overall was not very high-tech and technology should have been checked beforehand.

Luis Cruz

The experience was really fun and the worker there Sabrina was really nice and helped me and my friend out. A good place to go and try with friends!

Elissa Blanchard

Solved the Level 3 Alcatraz room in 25 minutes. This included 5 minutes of trying to hunt down an employee to ask why we were able to escape the room with a pile clues left over. It was then explained to us that we solved Level 1 and could keep solving the clues until time ran out. We solved the rest of the clues in two minutes. Then we were told to wait in green room for a complimentary photo. We waited 10 minutes and left. It seemed there were only 2 employees for 9 rooms. The place was packed and more help was definitely needed. We've played escape rooms at other locations before and were very disappointed with this one. Not just the lack of attention, but the whole game was so easy...no challenge at all.

Micaela Sweeney

Ken made this whole trip so enjoyable! My father has never heard of an adventure room so we decided to surprise him and take him here. I totally recommend this place!

Rachael Robertson

So much fun! I definitely plan to go back!

nicole smigiel

Great party experience

clafindafriend

Krystal Klear

They had great staff! I I would defitnly recommend.

Ellyn Mckinney

Had an awesome time with my 12 year old! The room we picked was rather difficult, the Black ops room, and some of the clues were hard to get..but....the guy working there who was also a manager was great!! The clues he gave helped a lot, and since it was a show time he actually gave us extra time to figure out the "next level".. this was my second time going and I'll definitely go again!

Rellz C

The Houdini room is CHALLENGING Ken was very helpful when needed. Will come again!
