On the east side of Rocky Mountain National Park as you enter you might try to pull off and see a portion of the park that does not always get a look at. You have a rock slide area, some waterfalls if you want to do a little exploring and then when open and if you have a vehicle that can travel over it you can try the old freight and stagecoach trail used in the late 1800's to get over the Mountains to the towns of North Western Colorado. Take your time and enjoy the scenery. It is only a one way trail so stop and look back at times.

Love love this place. We came at the end of Sept abs the Aspen have turned golden. just park your car on the roadside and walk across into the field. Beautiful!
