Nice location, but generators are being used beyond quiet times and they scare the elk away. We got a tent only site and our neighbors were using their generators to watch a game in one of the most beautiful places in Colorado.

One of the most beautiful places in the park accessible by car. It is one of the first amazing places you will see soon after you enter the Rocky Mountain National Park. There are some picnic benches where you can sit. They also have elk roaming the park in the summer.

Amazing RMNP location. Friendly RMNP Staff. The Campground is huge with many loops; every site is so unique. Comfort stations are clean and well maintained. The firewood and ice providers are great and affordable.

If you want to see some Elk, come over here because this is where they all hang out. Cars stopped all over the road so tourists can take pictures of 'em. I saw a lady with a tripod for her iPhone. Like, hey lady, does that really make your pictures any better? Do you think she carries it around with her, or was it special for taking pictures of elk? Her husband stood there looking rightfully embarrassed. Anyway, elk are here, along with lots of people taking pictures of elk.

Love it, love it, love it. Lots to do and lots of fun. Except for the Millennial tourists who have no respect for nature or staying on the marked trails and not taking their trash with them and vandalizing the trees by carving their names on them. Otherwise a WONDERFUL place to visit. We vacation there annually. Can't wait to get back there!

Beautiful place to visit, but many visitors are creating issues. Many of them will throw garbage out of their cars. Some people come though blasting their stereos or revving their engines. For a place so nice, it really takes away from the peacefulness. Still get's 5 stars for those times when no one else is around!

We've seen a lot of RMNP and there's always something gorgeous about Moraine Valley that continually draws us back. The stream is gorgeous, calming and relaxing for our family. Our boys love running around and experiencing the Lord's creation. It's also a place my wife and I enjoy an early morning fishing trip or an afternoon stroll. Definitely a place worth visiting!

Great access to beautiful hikes and views within the National Park. Campsite facilities and amenities (firewood for sale, bathrooms) are good and clean. Choose wisely on which site you reserve as some are large and have views and privacy, while others are small and unpleasant.

Absolutely beautiful! Our campsite was clean and well kept and only steps away from the well maintained bathrooms. This is a fantastic place to get away for a weekend and enjoy the great outdoors. There is plenty of space to explore and the campsites are well spaced so as to not disturb the other campers around you.

One of the most picturesque places I've been in quite a while. The absolute expanse is extremely impressive, with tons of open space and a great view of Long's Peak. It's also very apparent that the park staff are doing a lot of work to preserve the space, as they have fenced off part of the creek to elk.

Beautiful area! This is a great place to go and hike, see wildlife, and enjoy beautiful views. Bear lake fills up very fast so if you want to see it GET THERE EARLY! Also 5 and 6 pm is a great time to drive out and see all. Please like this review if it was helpful.

Great park in RMNP. Offers amazing views of the rockies and wide open meadows. Perfect creek for fly fishing. Always a great spot to see the plentiful elk that are are wandering around the meadow. Lots of options of short hikes and long hikes.

One of the best places in the Rocky Mountains national park. There is generally little crowd here and it has lots of nice trails. The sunset view that you get here is probably the best in the entire park.

I love RMNP in general, the views from moraine park is absolutely stunning in early morning, lot space to walk around. In winter months when most of the park is non-accessable, this one of those places you can easily access and a good hide out in bad weather situations.

Hard to rate the Rocky Mountains low. It is just beautiful. However we were disappointed about the Cub Lake trail. We weren't aware that the forest fires had damaged that area. So when we reached Cub Lake after very long hike we were a bit disappointed. Wish the visitors center would have told us. We would have chosen a different trail.
