Great little amusement park! My favorite rides were the Haunted Mine Drop and Cliffhanger Coaster. The mine drop and the Cliffhanger coaster were much better and more intense than I expected. The Alpine coaster has the longest line especially towards the middle of the day. They don’t let 2 adults or older children ride together even if you’re under the weight limit. For the Alpine coaster, if you’re tall enough to ride by yourself, you have to ride separately which was disappointing. Some rides didn’t have lines at all early in the day so get there early or maybe come later in the evening. There’s also very little or no shade in the ride queues so wear sunscreen and bring hats and sunglasses. Food is very reasonably priced for a theme park. We got 2 pizza slices, large drink and ice cream for $14. There is also alcohol sold. Cave tours were great also. Would definitely come back sometime!

This is truly a unique adventure. An adventure park on top of a mountain accessible by a gondola. We bought are tickets and immediately boarded the gondola with no wait. The views on the way up are amazing. We tried out all the rides when we got up there. The Giant Canyon swing is by far the best and most thrilling ride. It is followed very closely by the Dare to Drop ride. We didn't have to wait more then a few minutes to get on any of the rides. All of the employees we had contact with were very friendly and helpful. They did have to temporarily shut down a few rides due to high winds. This only lasted about an hour and all the rides were back open when the winds calm downed. During this time we took one of the cave tours. Very beautiful cave to tour. The guide was friendly and was very informative. I wish we lived closer I would visit many times. Will definitely visit again when back in Colorado!

Jennifer Parker

What a fun experience. The rides on the edge of the mountain make it so much more exciting. The caves were amazing!

Dribble Nelson

Nice place, the swing over the canyon was definitely my favorite. However, if you can help it, I don't recommend going on a holiday, such as labor day or over any large school breaks. The lines were really long but according to others, it's not normally that busy.

Larry Webb

So much fun. Couldn't get up the courage for the Giant Swing. Hardly anyone else there. No waiting in any line.

Brian Wilson

Excellent small-scale amusement park! It's clean, the rides are all up to date, and the staff are friendly and efficient. We couldn't get enough of the Alpine slide. The mountain top setting lends a lot to the excitement of the rides, but they are pretty great in any setting. We were very happy we spent our day in Glenwood Springs at this park.

Jonah Hearne

Love the cave tours everytime I come to Glenwood Springs. Becca made the King's Row tour extra special with her light show.

Olivia Andrus

This is one of the most fun adventure parks I have been to but the only thing I didn’t expect was the 3 second drop on the Haunted Mine Drop ride but it was still fun that ride gets your adrenaline going I also like the Alpine Coaster, Cliffhanger Coaster, The Canyon Flyer and The Soaring Eagle Zip Line. All those are so much fun.

Kim Geene

We had a great day here! Rides were better than anticipated. Staff was very friendly!

Megan Garcia

So much fun! One of the best amusement parks I've been to. And so incredibly beautiful. The rides are a blast for the whole family.

Adam Mackey

Very confusing experience for my wife and I. They asked if we had the confirmations printed out. Who does that? We then had to sort through our email to find confirmation when you would think they could just look us up. We went to the first cave tour and sat through a briefing of the tour. We got cut off and then learned we would have to wait for the next round and most likely the next one after that. Theres no instruction anywhere or explanation of what's going on and if there was, it was tiny. I didnt really want to sit through three safety talks plus we learned that the single ticket we had which we were told was good for two was actually not. So we ended up just calling it quits and leaving. 90 bucks down the drain. I'm sure you can find out more info about the cave tours and rides on the website (which I've noticed responses to complaints have suggested) but I've never had to educate myself on a theme park or anything similar before I went and shouldn't have to. That's too much and maybe this place should suggest people to read up for an hour or so before they come here, but nobody should have to do that and business would be lost if that was a warning, if you will. Most people bring their kids so they're willing to be confused and frustrated throughout the day. Wouldnt want to ruin the day for the kids and that's understandable but it was just my wife and I so nothing lost there, except 90 bucks.

Kathy Koenig

Love this place!! The rides are awesome and the staff is super friendly! So much FUN! Well worth the cost...and the restaurant was very reasonable.

Elena Perez

This place was amazing great place to spend quality time with your

Stuart Case

We as a family really enjoyed the Park and the caverns we would go again. The only thing I wish the had more rides for younger children.

Nicole Lucas

Caves were stunning, rides were awesome, staff and views were amazing!

Ah-ke Johnson

Absolutely had a blast. Wednesday, late Sept is the best. No lines, few kids. Bunch of adults having fun. Would recommend anytime.

C Mondragon

Great mountain park for a small town. Only way in and out are the gondolas, which gives you great views. The Alpine Coaster was awesome, my kids favorite ride. The other rides are great too. Park was clean. We bought the Funday pass which includes the gondola ride, attractions (rides) and 2 cave tours. We had a great time. A must do at least once.

Jessica DeRemer

Really fun love the rides but it’s a bit on the pricey side.

Becca Leigh

Wow. First, when we ordered tickets, they gave us a confirmation number but we didn't see an e-mail. When we came to redeem with our confirmation number, we were asked our names, then told we need our tickets in the e-mail, so we left line and went to sift through our junk email and stand in line again. When we went to get our tickets, they gave us 2 gondola tickets and 1 cave tour ticket, and were told our cave tour ticket would be ripped in half to cover both. The gondola was kind of neat. When we got to the top, we got lunch, where we were charged for a souvenir cup re-fill for a souvenir cup we do not own. We then sat through the cave tour safety/intro talk, then when the group went to enter the cave we were cut off from the group and would have to wait through a second safety talk. We went around to double check that our single ticket was adequate, which I was beginning to doubt since there had been so many issues in such a brief time. I'm very glad we did not sit through a second safety talk, because we were told that ripping the ticket in half was for a second cave tour, not a second entry ticket, which we paid for. We just left at that point. All in all, 90 bucks for 15 minutes on a gondola and a sub-par lunch. Would not recommend. "Your Glenwood Caverns Tickets - Sale # 35972000000"

Amazing place to visit all day fun. Buy the pass that allows you to go to the iron mountain hot springs. U will have a beautiful day

Celeste C

Fun for all ages. Great view and tours of the caves was spectacular.

Joey vira

Something for all ages. The drive from Avon to Glenwood is one of the most beautiful drives I have experienced. Then arriving at Glenwood Caverns you are able to go to the top of the canyon you drive through and are given the option to be flung over the side on rides. Who could ask for more?

Steven Dyke

Very fun place. There aren't a whole lot of rides, but the rides they do have are really fun. The Alpine coaster is a blast. Imagine a go kart on roller coaster track, where you control the speed. The views are spectacular inside the mountain, and on top. Plan on getting there early to avoid the crowds.

Candice Bohne

This place was so amazing!!!! My family would have stayed until closing but a blizzard unfortunately forced down the mountain. The rides, the food, the photos, the staff....we will be going back! Thanks for the thrills and the heart attacks.

Dale Boam

Don’t miss the Wild Tour! My family took the “Wild Tour” with our fantastic guide Kay. Our youngest is ten and oldest 22, there was something for all of us. Kay was the perfect guide. She was enthusiastic and encouraging and made sure to move at our pace. We cannot say enough good things about Kay. Go on the Wild Tour!

Samantha Kidd

This place is such a gem, especially on a week day! They don't have a ton of rides to offer, but you also don't have to stand in line for very long so you can easily ride things multiple times. Plus, the fairy caves are gorgeous. Definitely take the time if you're in town.

Stephine Monroe

Our experience here was amazing. My 7 year old son and husband had the time of their lives. We will be talking about this part of our vacation for the rest of our lives and will be back soon!!

Stan Kowalchyk

Wonderful amusement park! Food ok, but not too pricey. Ok beer selection. Rides are great! Alot of fun. Mine tours are cool. Not too crowded. Great views! Staff was friendly.

Shaunna Holt

Super fun little day trip, but tickets online to save yourself some time. You will spend most of your time in the sun as there is not a lot of shade while waiting for rides, so dress accordingly and wear protective clothing or sunscreen if you burn easily. Well worth the cost!

lisa brown

Gondola ride is a wonderful experience! We had an excellent visit and the rides were fun. Staff was friendly and attentive to our request. Overall great day!

Jose Olivas

Want to have some fun. You definitely need to come here and spend a whole day here. Try all the rides which they are awesome and if u get hungry they got a restaurant with an amazing view and really good food and good prices. Then walk it off in a tour thru the caves that are at 55 degrees all year awesome. I will recommend buying the year pass, you will like to go back for sure..

Timothy Welnetz

The gondola ride up and down Iron Mountain was nice with great views. Also, great views once on top. We got there less than 2 hours before closing on a Monday and it was almost deserted. There are amusement rides on top and 2 cave tours. A few of the rides looked fun but scary, but I didn't do any of them. It would've been a good time to ride though given there were no lines. The cave tour is a typical cave tour if you've done them before except this was very short.

Jennifer Chavez

4D theater was down which was a bummer. The Restaurant was ok. Not much food to choose from. Other than that the rides and views are great!

Thomas Robertson

Small park, BIG FUN. The first ride is hidden in the form of the Gondola. Beautiful views and easy on and off since the cars almost come to a stop at the top and bottom. Bathrooms and lockers are right there when you arrive on the mountain. The local beer on tap was cold and only approx.. $5.50 for a large glass, and the food (we got a wrap) was good also. There was a nice outside overlook to enjoy the food. Ok lets get to the rides… The swing (of screams). There was no one in line for this ride so we did not wee it run prior to getting on. We faced the mountain so we could see down when it swung up. This ride made me scream like a little girl for over a minute. No offence to little girls but I am 52 and don’t usually scream at thrill rides. The canyon flier was much more chill. You sit in the chairs and rotate out over the edge.. not scary and has beautiful views. The roller coaster on the top of the mountain is a small but very fast ride with unmatched views. From the ground you are not very high but in the car it looks like you a blasting off into space before you take a hard left turn into 3 or 4 or 5 high G turns… then boop.. it is over. The screaming Eagle zip ride was fun and only mildly scary. Beautiful views and a quick stop. Alpine coaster was my favorite. It is as fast as you want it to be… We all rode it, and all had the ride we wanted from slow to fast. I would ride this one over and over if time allowed. There are 2 caves but if you don’t have time to see both go see the King’s cave. It was huge and very impressive. The guide was well seasoned (15 years) and knew the answers to all our questions. I know people said the mine drop is the scariest, that may be true, but it only lasts for 3 seconds… where the swing will thrill you for over a minute. At 30 minutes prior to closing a nice man came on the PA and said “we will be closing in 30 minutes so try and figure out which rides you can squeeze into that time” I really liked that, he was on my side trying to make sure I had the most fun possible. Like I said, small park, big fun… plan to spend a full day at this park.

Dee Roberson

I Dj'd here for a wedding the staff was friendly helpful and all had good vybes I would recommend this place for any event or just a get away with the most amazing views !! If I didn't have to carry all my equipment on and off the gondola and into the place by myself I would have gave 5 stars

Travis Aggson

Fun little amusement park, very original Gondola ride entry to the top of the mountain. Loved the Mine Drop and Giant Swing. Highlight of the visit was the Fairy Cave Tour. Our Cave Guide, Kay, was a lot of fun, full of information and special effects featuring a blacklight. The restaurant had a great view, but the sandwiches could use some improvement. (Roast beef was thick and very fatty.)

Kunal Wanjara

Couldn't find parking nearby. But they have a huge parking lot on the back side. And a shuttle to take you to the main entrance.

Kristina Buckingham

What a cute and amazing park!! I gave it a four star because on one ride that went over the cliff, my boyfriend started to hyperventilate and when the ride stopped the workers noticed he was having trouble and laughed and said want to go again? When he said no several times, they started the ride again. Laughing. Then at the gift shop, we were shopping around and the worker was sitting there with a boy clearly talking about us and pulls out a drawer and starts counting money and didn’t say anything until I asked if I could buy anything, which she then said no. Other than that, we had a blast and we went on a cave tour, Tom was great!!!

Michael Cox

Exceptional! The rides were alot of fun, definitely a good starting point for amateur adrenaline junkies. I would definitely recommend the all day pass, because you're not going to try any one ride less than twice (except for maybe the giant swing, that was a little much for me personally). All in all, we had a fantastic day and it was well worth the visit!

Jessica Harmon

The price was pretty steep for a younger family but we were pleasantly surprised with the impeccable customer service. The park manager, Don, was incredibly kind and even watched our 16 month old so we could ride a ride. He checked in on us multiple times and remembered our names. Momma Donna (I think) at the bar and grill was also incredibly kind to us and our children and the sweet gal who ran the Giddy Up ride was especially patient with our 5 year old who rode it over and over and over. In a world of cranky, critical people it was so refreshing to be at the park today. We will be back simply because of the amazing customer service. The rides were pretty fun too!

Rachel Brown

Awesome experience. I am not a theme park person, so you won't catch me on the rides. The caves are so fascinating and the gondola ride is terrifying but one of the best views ever.

erik aguirre

I had a small misunderstanding but management took care of it and was very helpful was the first time which made it even better for my family and I. Also the king cave tour that was done by an employee named Rebbeca made it so much fun with her jokes along with her attitude just put the experience over the top. I hope management reads this because she definitely needs a raise! All in all great family place food, rides, great environment

Carmen Pavlovsky

Didn’t find a single ride we were disappointed with! Super fun and totally family friendly! Not over crowded either!

Jason Gillespie

This is a cool little amusement park. Little being the operative word. But its compact foot print makes getting around easy. The rides here are rowdy. The new mine drop is good, the canyon swing puts any viking ship ride you have been on to shame because of the pneumatic drive, even the spinng swing ride makes you pucker a bit. The rollercoaster is small and compact but does not disappoint and more than makes up for it's small size. The Alpine coaster is a great way to relax as is the gondola you take up to the park. It is a bit expensive, but it is worth the money. It is a really cool little park.

David Ruiz

Great place !!! If you are in Denver area and you want a day out in the out doors it's awesome. Many things to do it's a 2.5 hrs from Denver with no traffic. White water rafting, the Gandola park and the hot springs pool. All done in one day.

C. H.

What an outstanding place to visit, the gondola ride was amazing, the people all super friendly, the restaurant at the top had great food and draft beer. The cave tours were great too. They better give Becca a huge raise or Hollywood is going to get her, she is a Character for sure. I would definitely visit again!

Dusk Evergarden

It was a fun time. Visited from Canada to see my girlfriend who worked at the park. Made me try everything there but gotta say, I'm glad that she did. The whole experience was wonderful.

J. Sy

Epic rides for all ages! A small park, but prices fairly all around! Food is very affordable too! Decent bar as well and short lines with very unique rides! Highly recommend for a 1/2 day. Full day is not needed.

Sanaa Ashurst

Very fun best place in Colorado great for kids. Be prepared to walk

Elizabeth Clark

A must do when visiting Glenwood Springs for everyone! Locals get the best value with a season pass. Good rides, entertainment, food/ drinks and views! What's not to love!

Joseph Hartley

A great day out for young and old. The rides were exciting, varied and the queues were short. It was nice to be able to escape the heat of the midday to explore the caverns. And the location on the top of the mountain makes it unique. Definitely value for money.

Jandi Saathoff

The adventure park was so fun! Loved the cave tour! Fairly reasonable cost for admittance and food. Loved the alpine coaster and the zip line! Views were spectacular!

Maribel Martinez

The views are amazing and lots to look at!! I took 1 star away because when we went one of the rides for the kiddos was closed and he didn’t get to go on a lot of their rides. The rides are for older kids and adults so he didn’t get to do much!!

Melissa Fitzgerrel

I expected a lot more for the price paid. Most everything was closed when we went. The staff was absolutely amazing though if I could give them all 5 stars! I work in customer service so I know great employees and you all are truly diamonds in the rough!

Pinxity

Gondala operator Chis thinks its ok to put hands on guests which is assault. Only reason for my 3 star. Other than that was a good experience. Hope management does there job and reprimand him and does not allow him to do that again.

ATHENA CARGILL

I love thrill rides more then most. This place is much more then adrenaline. Good service. Beautiful scenery. Mostly it's the time with no lines to wait. FAMILY FUN FOR EVERYONE.

Solomon Perez

Enjoy the time with my wife and our son and his fiancee, Grandson. Fun time together and beautiful scenery all around.

Donna Fullhart

Great way to spend the day with the family. The rides were fun and the cave tours with Kiki were the best we have ever had.

Nicole Vigil

Spent about $300 just to get into the park and there were not very many rides or attractions a 9 or 10 yr old could enjoy. Very disappointed in the cost and lack of things to do. The park is directed toward teens/adults but the website is misleading. You get trapped on top of the mountain during a storm and there is very little space to take shelter. Spent another $300 just trying to stay hydrated at the top of the mountain. There is one cooling fan and one mist sprayer. Such a money pit.

ananya yadavalli

America's only mountain top adventure Park. Definitely worth it!! Amazing rides and it's not too crowded. Get the fun pack ticket to enjoy all the rides and tours unlimited number of times

Andrew Clopton

Fun inexpensive vacation spot. Friendly staff and light crowds. Good times

Sayre Harris

It's fun but the food was disgusting. My fries were soggy and we didnt like the choice of foods. Why paninis? I ended up getting a roast beef panini with fries and a soft drink for 16.50. I would reccomend bringing down the prices. I know it's for tourism but I could get better food at Mcdonalds. Nathaniel was a great server though. I might come back but I would bring my own food.

Elaine K

Fun place to go with the family. We enjoyed the gondola ride and touring the caves. The $.50 lockers were convenient for storing things while going on the tours. Lunch at their restaurant was good and the prices fair.

jeremy dixon

Awesome time. Even with it being colder and snowing at the end of our activities. We really enjoyed everything from the haunted drop, to the caves, to the coaster and more. This was a great ending to our trip to Glenwood Springs.

Bill Desmond

This was a great side trip. It was after the local schools were back in session so there was little to no wait on any rides. Well worth the trip for me and my 17 year old son. Do the Alpine Coaster more than once and if you are bigg enough hold the breaks off with your knees. Great ride. Mine drop was great with 109' drop in 18 seconds.

Jaden Martin

Fun little place to spend the day!! Worth the price for sure. The rides are short but they are still really fun, and the whole place is super chill. the employees are super enthusiastic!

Dave Rumsey

Nice place but experience could be improved with proper staffing levels on busy rides during peak times.

양희철

Good place with amazing scenery I strongly recommend ride alpine coaster and canyon swing

Todd Nielsen

Love this place. The family comes here every year for a quick getaway and fun times. It will not disappoint.

Ryan Eckart

This place is awesome, great little amusement park and the caves are stunning. It's perfect for the family with all ages in it very cool and fun place I definitely recommend the the cliff swing.

Chris Clark

We bought the annual pass (we live 90 miles away.) We've made it 3 times this year and never disappointed! Fun attractions, wonderful cave tours and such friendly staff! No entertainment like this with scenery anywhere we have ever been...I'm glad the owners had vision. Thank you for what you've done. ~Jessica C.

Cody Bostick

Awesome Glenwood attraction. Lots of fun for all ages. Cave tours are a must.

S Silver

What an awesome place for ALL ages! The views are amazing of the surrounding mountains and Glenwood Springs below. Soo coool! You take the Gondola to the top of the mountainf and it's a western themed park with crazy scary to mild. Or have a beer and listen to music. !!!! Must see for all!!

mathew sikes

So much fun, great family day! Loved everything about it. The cave's, the rides, and even the gondola up was part of the adventure! The only thing I was bummed about was their measuring for the rides. I specifically measured my daughter (who loves rides) to make sure she could go on the bigger rides. With a tape measure she was exactly 48in. According to their makeshift PVC measuring stick they said she was easily 2in too short and couldn't go on a couple of the rides she was so excited to go on. She was heartbroken! There is no way their "measuring sticks" are accurate! Even so we were able to save the day because their is plenty of rides my daughter was able to enjoy.

Brian Lockwood

We came here for my birthday weekend. Had an extremely fun time and were EXTREMELY well taken care of by one of the managers, Patrick. We'll definitely be coming back.

Mercedes Davis

Small yet amazing.it is unlike any place you will ever go.

Evan Conrad

Fun park for 58 bucks per person; came to 55 after online discount. Good rides overlooking the canyon-cliff. Kings row cave was the highlight of this place.5/5 stars.

Robert Staab

Loved the cave tour. Cool rides, well organized, and beautiful scenery.

Erin Barnes

What a great family day! Prices are pretty reasonable once inside the park. Food was good and the staff was wonderful. I don't think I interacted with one person that wasn't pleasant and kind. The Alpine Coaster was very cool, cave tours were great, rides were fun. Sadly our day got cut short because of the weather, but all in all it was a great experience.

Ryan

The most fun I've ever had at an adventure park! The cave tours were one of the most unique and great experiences I've had! The tour guide was so kind and knowledgeable. On top of that the rides are terrifyingly fun and the restaurant food was actually great for a decent price. Spent the whole day there and will definitely be back!

Corey Tholen

Great way to spend a day! So much to do and so many great views. Can't wait to visit Glenwood Springs again and go back!!

Julie Adams - Lifestyle Living Real Estate

The Adventure Park is a fun place to go. However, one thing you should be aware of. The children are able to ride several of the large rides. My grandson passed out 3 times on the giant swing from the g force. I have never witnessed someone passing out. I was glad that I was the one next to him because this was terrifying for him. If he was on the ride with another child he may have been injured. I had to hold his head still and let him know that he was going to be okay when he would come to. He did like some of the other rides though.

Scott Wolf

Everyone was super friendly, the rides were great, views incredible, and caves amazing. The cave guides were well trained and Tyler who had so much positive energy. This is a must experience place!

Alice Jaramillo

BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL!! WORKERS WERE ALL VERY VERY FRIENDLY- 5 STARS TO THEM. RIDES AND CAVES ARE PRETTY AWESOME! MUSIC WAS VERY NICE. WE WILL RETURN!!

jKurnas

Loved our stay at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park! We rode all the rides including the swing which goes over the cliff. We also attended the Fairy Caves and Kings Row Cave. The tour guides did a great job and were enthusiastic. It is not far (10 mins) from Iron Mountain Hot Springs.

Suril Dalal

A pretty cool amusement park hidden high up in the mountains. There’s something for everyone here, ride up in a gondola, then eat and drink or hop on some exciting rides!

Erin Elliott

This is great for kids but it’s pricey and not too much to do if you’re not into the rides. Good views though. but I am super bummed because I purchased tickets online then got there and they had buy one get one free gondola rides. Which I asked if I could get my money back since it wasn’t online anywhere and was told no. They should have the deals listed online.

Samantha Cordova

My Husband & I were on a mini vacation and decided to go to Glenwood Springs. We went to the Adventure Park hoping to enjoy the rides. We rode the alpine coasters& a couple others & they were a blast. We decided to ride the rollercoaster & little did we know sitting in the very last car would be that painful. We whipped around in the beginning and my husband hit the seat with his shoulder. Had to suffer thru the rest of the ride in Severe Pain. When the ride was over I had to rush him to the Emergency Room. Upon returning home, my husband had to see an Orthopedic Dr & his shoulder was jammed together then separated. Hopefully in 3 weeks it's ok when we return to the Ortho Dr again. Just an FYI the Rollercoaster Ride is very rough & was very costly to us!!!!! Was disappointed we didn't get to ride anymore rides & see the 2nd Cave. $116 for the Park then the Hospital bill was very costly!!!

Chelsea Seigneur

Kids and I loved all the rides and touring the caverns. It was a bit overpriced if not buying the day pass- we were just passing through and stopped for an hour and it seemed quite pricey, so if you're going definitely plan to make a day of it.

Jeff Grover

It costs a bit to get up there, but if you like views and small amusement parks... It is great.

Jimmy Durden

One of the funnest places on the whole planet. Everything here is great, but I can ride that Giant Canyon Swing over and over and over and over. Also, don't miss the cave tours.

Benjamin Benoy

Had the THRILL of a LIFETIME when I got on that Giant Swing. All adventurers should try it.

Ariana Razo

I’m from Fl, went on a weekend getaway to CO and had to visit this park, amazing place! So fun and so scary! I went on a Friday in August, I got there around 12pm, there were no lines, it was perfect and the weather was perfect as well! The gondolas moved pretty fast as well. One thing I’m going to tell you though, don’t go here too high! I took some edibles before going up the park (since I’m a tourist and don’t know how to act) and the damn edibles didn’t hit me until 2 hours later, I felt crazy and dehydrated. Just have fun people, you’ll love this place! I’ll definitely be visiting again because I didn’t get on all the rides.

Michael

The new gondola is a huge improvement. The rides, entertainment and general environment are all done well. We've been going up on the Mountain for 10 years but something has happened at the restaurant. The prices have jumped and the quality has taken a dive. Better food at McDonalds. So sad as that's a big part of Music on the Mountain.

Justin Grasseschi

Many things closed on my trip but it was still unique and fun. Loved the cave tours. Great tour guides. Will visit again in the summer to experience more!

Lauren Olsen

Ehhh... I have gone to this place ever since I was 10 years old and I have watched this place grow and grow. At ten years old I was above 5 feet and was able to go on all of the rides. They were super fun and I have always loved the amazing view. I decided to take my cousins there, I thought it would be super easy to get them on rides but no. One of my cousins in exactly 4 feet. I was old enough to go with him for everything. We tried to going to every ride he was tall enough for but the wouldn’t let us on. The only lot rides he could go on is the lame family coaster and the soaring eagle ride. What mad it even more lame is that he couldn’t go on the tiny Ferris wheel! Overall, remember that it is not a great place to bring little kids since they can ride pretty much nothing.

Dakota Belliston

Very cool and unique rides. The canyon swing was worth the admission price. Kids had a blast.

Dan Sadberry

Cavern tours were well done and very informative. The rides for adults were fun and scary. Enjoyed the day and would recommend this to anyone. An amusement park on top of a mountain is pretty cool anyway.

Brooke Hill

We enjoyed the gondola rides and the pretty fall colors. Alot of the rides seemed to be closed so we didn't want to waste money on buying a park pass. We toured one of the caves and enjoyed it, our guide was pretty cool and had an interesting sense of humor.

CJG AIRI

Gondola and Caves well worth it! Amusement rides looked fun too, but we didn't do these. Spent the morning in the park, and the afternoon in the Iron Mountain Hot Springs. Worth every penny!

Justin Costantine

Posting this review due to misinformation. We were passing through on a roadtrip and called about cave tour times. We were given the times. We called at 3:40 and when we arrived at 3:50 were told we wouldn't have time to do the tours and couldn't just pay for one tour instead of the two that are included in cave tour price. It would've been nice to know we wouldn't have time when we called. I would suggest coming up with a price for one tour or to make it known you don't sell cave tour tickets past 3:30 when you close at 6. Disappointing.

It was a lot of fun. Brought a can of food to ride the gondola up and watched a Rolling Stones tribute band called Emotional Rescue. It was bery entertaining! There was a rain delay, but the fun outweighed that.

Michael Kenny

Amazing attraction. Our cave guide (Ken) was super knowledgeable and passionate about the cave system. Don the manager gave us some great local advice. Definitely recommend this experience for anyone passing through the Glenwood Springs area.

Sanguillermo 76

I loved this place the last time I went here with my family. Although, I have one question, do they stamp people who exit so they can get back in the same day?

James Willbanks

We had a freakin blast! The view, the service, the rides, all unforgettable. I can't wait to come back.

Jill 5

Fun day, we went early June. Weather was perfect. Lines were short. Staff was enthusiastic and made us laugh and enjoy the day. Rides were fun, views are amazing. Our hotel was within walking distance, perfect to leave for lunch, a break, and come back. Day pass is worth it. Knocked one star off just because you will do the same 5-6 rides over and over all day. From out of state, our family of 5 recommends it (kids ages 6, 8, 11).

Adia Malekzadeh

Every employee at the park that I encountered was very kind and helpful. The rides were very smooth and fun, and the caves are beautiful and amazing. King's Cavern was my favorite cave, as it is the original attraction and our tour guide was very knowledgeable and informational, and my favorite ride was the Alpine coaster, the o.g. ride. The food was also very good.

Robert Barton

Great place if this is your first time in Glenwood Springs. Lots of activities to do for about 4-5 hours such as laser tag, roller coasters, and cavern tours. The view from the gondolas is beautiful, but can be a problem for people who have a fear of heights or motion sickness. Both times going up and down the gondolas stopped for some reason and we were left moving in the wind.

Chris Abeyta

Great adventure rides. Kids loved it. When lines after short you can do the whole park in 1/2 day

Simran Thakur

Lot of fun. Affordable. Different type of thrill on rides.

Diana Alcala

Awesome park, 1-2 good rides. But value not great. I am happy we visited but wouldn’t pay the price to go again.

Kimberly Fritz

Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is a priceless little gem, nestled up 7100 feet on a mountaintop, above Glenwood. Coming all the way from Phoenix, AZ to experience this adventure center did not disappoint! From the moment you park in the main parking lot, you are whisked up the mountain on a fun Gondola ride. I would highly suggest arriving there first thing in the morning when they open, as the lines to the rides were extremely short early in the day. Our family started on the Alpine Coaster (and we are so glad we did, as it had a long line for the rest of the day). We were pleased our small 8-year-old twins could ride with us on this coaster. The Giant Canyon Swing and the Haunted Mine Drop were also two of our favorite rides! All of the height requirements for children are clearly posted at each ride, so we felt extremely safe. Glenwood Caverns also offers several walking cave tours - I would highly suggest incorporating these in your day as well. Not only can you escape the heat for an hour or so, but the caves were astonishing! This park offer shade stations and misters in some areas, which is great for families spending an entire day there, and their food prices are rather reasonable as well. We were pleasantly surprised that all of their attractions, including the Rock Climbing Wall, Laser Tag, and the 4D Motion Theatre were all included in the general admission ticket price! This park should be on every family's summer bucket-list! Thanks Glenwood Caverns for a perfect family day!

Adriana Barbieri

So much fun here, had amazing drinks, had the cooooolest rides, and we even did the old time pictures at Silk’s(which I always thought was corny to do) but I got so drunk and had so much fun clearly! The caverns were cool, our tour guide was hilarious & made something historical less boring for the people. Overall, great experience! Love Glenwood Caverns

Anthony Henderson

Awesome. Right near the hot springs and my daughter loves the gondola ride!

Brian Manion

Absolutely amazing place, I’ve never been in a cave before so it was my first time and I gotta tell you it was so much fun. The gondola made me sweat a little bit but once I was at the time I had the time of my life. Best believe I was be returning thank you!!

Jack Schwartz

One of the best and fun parks Iever visited with my family. Reasonable entry price, very respectful and professional staff. I highly recommend this park.

Ryan Ferguson

We have been here multiple times but not since they revamped things. Our 3 kids had a blast! Alpine coaster is a must! They have multiple options for food and the Gift shop is amazing! Highly recommend if anywhere close or just passing through!

Kelly Day

Such a fun place to spend the day! Beautiful scenery, fun rides and nice caves. Swinging out over the side of the mountain on some of the rides was both fun and breathtaking. There are 2 caves that you can tour. Each tour is about 40 min long with a great history. There is also a gift shop and cafe which are your typical adventure park prices. And while there are only like 7 rides, they make great use of the landscape and make it an unforgetable trip.

Ann Strasburg

Beautiful, low key amusement park. We went on a Tuesday the first week of August, and my kids got to go on the same ride over and over again with out getting off! All the staff were patient and friendly. There was always shade and a place to sit and wait by the rides. It has a fun sandbox that is shaded for when they got tired of rides. It also has some truly spectacular adult rides that go right off the cliff and you can see the entire valley below. Terrifying and awe inspiring at the same time! When it got too hot in the afternoon, we toured the caves which were beautiful and cool. The only criticism I have, is that they only have one or two drinking fountains in the whole park and you get really thirsty hiking up and down the hill to each of the rides. So definitely bring water bottles! (All the concession stands were willing to fill them with cold water for us.) I had never heard of this place until I saw a billboard outside of Spanish Fork, Utah. I don't know why they were advertising that far out, but it worked! I'm definitely taking my family again and I recommend you take yours!

Laurel Barrett

I visited today and had a good experience. I would also like to give a shout out to the staff. There was a gentleman in a wheelchair in front of me on the gondola. The staff at the bottom helped him get his jacket off and made sure he was comfortable before closing the door and sending him up the hill. At the top he was welcomed and they helped him get off. I was walking around before the cave tour and I noticed him looking at the beautiful scenery. One of the staff members walked over and talked to him and asked him he wanted pictures taken. He took the pictures of the scenery and even took pictures of the gentle with the city in the background. Thanking you for taking such good care of him. I am sure he really appreciated it.

Irma Rascon

Third time here. From fun to educational. Good for every one

Tom Washburn

Awesome place, so many different things to do. Liked the alpine coaster the best

A G Sports

Great find! Mountain top rides. Not overpriced tickets for an amusement park and reasonable food and drink pricing inside ($5 for two corn dogs and $5 for two water bottles). Excellent day with kids (14-16 yo).

ThatOneChic

First time. Even though we just got a lift, we had a memorable time. Will be coming back for the rides and spend more time

Jan Stoddard

The gondola ride was beautiful. Several rides we didn't ride.

Emily Bonfoey

I love this place and appreciate the local pass this year. I do have to complain about getting rid of the bus. We got put on the gondola coming down from a field trip when a massive storm came through. Took us 45 minutes to get down because of the safe fail, with myself and 5 8 year olds it was a horrible experience. The kids were getting sick from the gondola swinging back and forth scary bad. It was raining and snowing in the gondola car because we could shut the vents. I had 5 very scared, sick 8 year olds. I honestly don't think should have been loaded in the first place.

Tim Larson

Great place to spend an afternoon. Very enjoyable.

Ethan Strong

We did the Cave Tours, Fairy and Kings Row they where both pretty dope. Lots of things to see. Shout to our tour guide Spiderman with his monotone jokes. They were good:))

Sumat Kumar Sisodia

Both the caves shows the natural beauty and naturally formation is a wonder. Awesome. Beauty of the both the caves and specially of King cave is beyond description.

nina RE

We had so much fun during our visit. Our son had a blast with the rides, rock climbing, lots of things to do with kids. The staffs are all friendly. We wish we could've stayed longer. We will definitely come back

Bobby Copp

Place is FRICKEN AWESOME!! The Alpine Coaster rocks! A must do for all!!! Two big

This place is nothing short of amazing. I am terrified off heights..and the only way on this mountain amusement park is by gondola! Grit your teeth if your afraid of heights because the mountain is over 7k above sea level. I couldn't look down..instead i held up my camera and said "cheese" it took the pictures with that command. Decided my chicke shiz self could look at them after I was safely on the ground. Forgetting I had to get back on to get home... You must must must ride the mine drop! Don't think about it, anylize, or ask anyone...just do it! Prepare for a unique crazy thrill ride! Lines were average for an amusement park..but for thrill seekers..this is for you! Pee before you ride. Perhaps bring a change of undies. All I can say is crazy fun especially for thrill seekers!

lee c

Fun, nice gondola ride, mountain coaster, and swing rides. reasonable rates. 4D movies were great. Great way to spend a day

Jessi Bowwow

This place was so much fun! There are a few different thrill rides! My favorite was the coaster that you get to control your own car going do the track! The swings take you over the canyon and the view is amazing!

Alanna Roylance

MUST SEE!! One of the coolest amusement parks I’ve been to! The caves were very cool, once in a lifetime experience and the park with the swings off the cliff were unreal

Cesar Garcia

Excellent place, not too crowded on a Sunday afternoon. Breathtaking views & amazing rides a must see if you’re passing by

John Pyne

Amazing views of the town and great rides. Definitely recommend the roller-coaster.

It's such an Amazing Family oriented company. I love it so much I got a job with them. We have amazing rides food and entertainment for all ages. Always something new to look forward to. Hope to see you there.

Daniel H

Fun realxing atmosphere, little to no lines on Thursday afternoon in May. Not a big park so easy to navigate. Nice staff that seemed happy to be there. Kings Row cave tour with Becca was well worth it. Next visit we'll have to try fairy cave. Some of these rides are very scary so be warned you'll dangle over a cliff on few. Even the mine drop scarred me, I wasn't sure how long it would drop for in the dark.

Kristen Williamson

Small park, but with great rides. Lines were only around 15 minutes for most rides with the exception of the the Haunted Mine drop. That line was about 40 min and not worth it in my opinion. The big swing that goes off the cliff was the best. Food is affordable and you can take food if you want to have a picnic. Great place to visit!

Jenna R.

Make sure you wear sunscreen and sneakers, the dirt paths are a monster to follow and it's far too easy to lose flip flops on the rides. Really enjoyed everything but the trip up and the park shutting down due to weather constraints every 15 minutes was frustrating. Skip the caves if you're an enthusiastic spelunker. Waste of time.

Taylor Herrman

Had a blast here with my family today. Not only are the rides great but the caves are spectacular! LOVE that there was a vegetarian option for me with the food. I love amusement parks and it was so cool that it had such a view! I want to visit again when I come to Colorado. (:

Dan B

Fantastic place to get great views for the day. I loved all of the rides and cave tours were excellent. At $58/adult it may seem like a lot, but the value you get is unbeatable.

Who knew they could fit so much awesome on a mountain

John Wilson

Really nice location, wasnt sure at first but we really had a nice time. The cave tour were awesome and out tour guide Becca can sing!!

Kishan Gandhi

This is one of the best adventure parks we have visited. We had a group of 19 people from kids to some matured ones. From Gondola rides, Alpine Coaster and Canyon Swing. Wow! It was an amazing experience. Beautiful views from the top of the mountains. Buying unlimited pass was a good decision we made which allowed us to enjoy all rides as many times as we wanted. Much recommended.

Jaqueline Ignacio

Had some more great and fun memories here. Kids

Dima Weliwitigoda

Once you are up it's a totally different vibe and it's full of fun rides, souvenir shops a restaurant etc. The best part is the natural cave your. All in all it was a good experience

Rocky G

This place is worth coming to if you are in Glenwood springs. There are some great cave tours and some cool ride. There are activities for all ages. One of the highlights on my trip to Colorado.

HIS & HERS ENTERTAINMENT GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION

This place is breathtaking! The staff is so nice and helpful. The rides are thrilling. The restaurants are very good and prices are very reasonable. A bucket list item for sure

Kelley Perry

Took my family here when they were in town from California. We had a great time- the mountain rollercoaster was the highlight.

Hassan Lakhani

Words cant explain how wonderful this place is. I accidentally stumbled upon this location and on a day when only few of the rides were working but still was memorized. Just lost in the beauty and thrills. A must GO place.

Megan Mabey

I have been here twice and it’s always a lot of fun. It’s very fun and unique. It’s fun taking the gondolas up to the top and back down. They have good food and snacks. The cave tours are also fun. My favorite rides are the Haunted Mine Drop and the Alpine Coaster. The Alpine coaster is long which is nice. The Haunted Mine Drop is thrilling but it only fits 6 people. We got there early and walked on it twice without waiting. The line takes forever during the day.

Mickey Murphy

It is a fun little amusement park. Because we were there in spring a majority of the rides were closed. The ones that were open were a lot of fun. Their Alpine Coaster was a blast. We took a tour of one of the underground caves and that was worth the price of admission itself. You need to take a tram to get to the park, that makes it unique. My only complaint is their handling of getting patrons through the rides. They were not very efficient in getting us on and off the rides. Even though there aren't a lot of people in the lines it took quite a bit of time getting through the lines.

Nicole Flores

Cool place! Amazing views from the top and unique amusement park with caves. We had so much fun!

Shayesteh G

It was an awesome experience! We rode the Canyon swing which was so fun. A tour of one of the caves. We did not have time to get to all of the rides but I would definitely recommend visiting this place. Fun for kids and adults

Stefan Mihaila

Overrated and super expensive. My family and I went for the gondola and caves only. The "two" caves were practically only one. Although the caves were nice overall, the whole experience felt very unaffordable and expensive. And if you think about - most of the cave enhancements and enlargements and developments, were made by volunteers. And these current greedy owners are making big money on those people who have helped developing and enhancing those caves.

Marie Rogers

Have to ride the the Alpine Roller Coaster, even if your 66 yrs young. The employees are very friendly loved it will go back
