So it was fun however we paid money to be there and the pool side never opened that was our main goal! And over half the rides we're closed. They could have warned us or let everybody know. So it kind of felt like a waste of money☹️but usually it's a fun time. The employees were nice though...

Had a great time not really a ride person the Water Park area is very nice but for whoever drinks beer please get the refill deal it's much better especially if you're going to have more than one beer and their Pizza is the bomb and don't forget the $10 turkey legs it's worth the money smoking sections is by the water park in the back

Alan Varbel

Fun place with lots to do... Rides are good, but I would not be the best judge because I don't like rides. I bought my family a season pass and have not regretted it.

Ryan O'Neil

Go during the week and enjoy the lazy river. Season pass is totally worth it for those hot days. Check out their awesome magic show!

Michaela

The ride selection could be better. I thought the rides were too similar to each other. Everything here was overpriced including the parking ($20) and especially the food. You're paying up to $10.99 for funnel cake that is made of cheap pancake batter that you can buy in bulk for less than $6 at Sam's Club. It would be nice if they had a better selection of food that is better quality and more affordable.

We visited all the way from Florida and checked the website and saw nothing about the age limits on entry to the park (kids under 18 have to have at least one adult to enter after 6). My kids were ecstatic to go and my oldest daughter is 17. My husband and I wanted to have a night to ourselves so we sent the kids at 6 and my daughter called me very upset because they refused her entry into the park even though I called them explaining how it was perfectly okay with me. I’m aware this is a security procedure but my Children missed out on the most exciting part of the trip for no good reason. I would recommend elitches makes this more clear to other customers in the future we are extremely disappointed in the attitude we got from the staff.

Jennifer Barrett

We got season passes and it’s the best deal for summer we can buy. The meal plan is fantastic and I get something new each time I go. Keeps the kids busy and there is always something to do, even though the water park has been a little chilly this year. Thanks crazy Colorado weather.

Dale Rodriguez

It's fun place to bring kids with lots of stuff for them to do, like there's a kids area in the water park, lots of rides for younger kids (about 3 - 6 yrs old, with some for younger kids that can ride with an adult,) and activities like face paintings and and an air ball gun(?) play area that kids (or adults) can shoot soft, foam, balls at each other. My personal favorite is the water park with the lazy river and numerous water slides and the wave pool. There are games, rides, shows and food.

Elyse Whitt

My family and I LOVE elitch gardens! We have passes and have gone once a week. The water park is awesome and the kiddie park is tons of fun for the little dudes. We have always found it to be very clean and easy to get around. Lines are always manageable and staff is so friendly!

Joshua Priest

A lot of fun rides for both myself and my kids to enjoy. It wasn't too crowded and the staff was helpful. Definitely will go again.

Joe Jones

What an amazing adventure my family had at Elich Gardens! We didn't get to do everything but will be back. The entire family had a blast.

Michael

Always a fun place to go to. Rides were good. Only thing I'd complain about is how expensive food and drinks are, but pretty typical of an Amusement Park.

Laura Rodriguez

Omg! We rented a cabana and had the BEST service and time EVER!!!! We were greeted by Candida with a pleasant smile and great attitude. She made sure our time there was pleasant. She went on and beyond checking on us periodically. Our service with Andrew was also perfect, getting our orders and getting them delivered to us in a timely matter. Candida and Andrew GREAT JOB!!!!

Richard Hughes-Findley

We love being season pass holders, food could be better but we eat lunch every time we go. Kids always have fun

AnjelicaMarie

My boyfriend took me there on the 4th of July for my birthday. Great rides, not too long of a wait to get on rides, and clean. We loved it.. we'll definitely be going back!!!

Paula Campbell

We love to come here and we mostly in Joy the Title Wave and sometimes they have a movie you can watch while in the water. Things can be pricey but we've always enjoyed in here

Megan Valenti

My children had an absolute blast here, 10yo, 9yo, 6yo. Make sure you buy tickets online or from a king soopers before you go you will save $20 per ticket. Water slides were so fun! Worth the wait in line. Make sure you read signs to make sure you are able to go before waiting though.

Dustin Wood

Expensive even before we were sold 9 day old Grilled Chicken Ceaser wraps and we all got food poisoning. We were going to go to a concert at Pepsi center after but we're to sick to go. So ended up costing us the price of three tickets to the concert. A hotel room for another night so we could try to get better to drive back home. Not at all happy with the experience that we had. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

Jessica Guerra

Great experience! I suggest getting there early, less wait time. And if you go be prepared to spend a lot of money. It's really expensive.

Mindy

I think I'm pretty upset that there were more than 5 rides that were not operating when you either pay a one day pass of $37.99 and the $20 parking or the $79.99 season pass and $20 parking or $60 season pass parking. Getting a season pass this late in the year is not beneficial. It is a fun place if you like a mixture of swimming and/or rides. Also, most of the food stands outside the water park were closed. No outside food allowed, but bring your own and leave in the cooler so you can eat if you don't want to eat the food at Elitches.

Mr Pepe

Kind of an outdated place, better for young kids > 13 years old. Place was dirty, parking $20. Only like 5 rides were good for adults but 2 of those ones were out of service. Most parks are easily laid out to find but it took forever to find some of the rides. Definitely not comparable to Wet N Wild in Vegas.

Sheryl Muir

Elitch's held a low-sensory.day on September 22, 2019. Children and youth with a low tolerance for noise and chaos came to enjoy rides and a welcoming environment, many for their first time at an amusement park. Thanks to Elitch's for being visionary and inclusive.

Scott Stark

Elitch's needs to figure out better line control. Our trip there on Labor Day Sunday was 99 percent waiting and one percent riding. In nine hours, we managed nine rides, some time in the wave pool and a lap around the lazy river.

Emily Miller

Fun for the whole family. A variety of rides for kids - adults, thrill seekers and "chillers". Amazing views of Denver from many rides. Not as big as some parks, but it'll do.

Elizabeth W.

Picked a good day, didn't have to stand really in line for any of the rollercoaster rides. Food/drinks are a bit pricey. Overall had a great time.

Ti Almeyda

Amazing!! So fun...Have rides for all ages...also a few water rides and water park too...gosh what a blast...the only thing I have to add is to bring your own water bottles to fill at the water fountains...or if buying a water bottle for $4 is your thing then awesome. Also must try parmesan fries...way to good and the green slushy. Tasted like cotton candy, Though not sure the actual flavor there was no sign.

Amanda Kloeppel

Half of the rides weren't even running after paying $40 per ticket. I'm very disappointed in the fact that I spent full prices for tickets for half of the experience. Also, after being really excited to see the new Meow Wolf exhibit ride, the attendant didn't even tell us we were supposed to purchase 3D glasses so we didn't get to experience that fully either.

Nesho Montoya

3 out 5 because the park overall is kinda small but it is fun and in a cool spot sad the when you buy a session pass that you still have to pay to get into the haunted houses.

Jenn Morris

Never a full moment. With little kids I was surprised at how much my 3 and 5 year old could do. It was the best day of our summer

Matthew Garcia

A great way to spend an early October afternoon with the family. From the ball pit in the kid zone to the high flying metal and wooden rollercoasters, this place has something for everyone to enjoy.

Matt Bitz

Half of the rides were shut down. Not sure if it's and end of season or what. Place could be really cool if it had enough staff and all the rides were working.

Isaac Robinson-Stark

Elitch gardens is awesome! Great rides, and lots of fun things to do! They have the classics of roller coaster and splash rides but also have tried something new with Meow Wolf. My.nephew loved Meow Wolf.

Piper Fournier

Lots of fun! And they go through very good safety precautions, so even though it sucks when there is a tiny bit of lightning and the rides are closed, you know they're doing it for your safety. Food is expensive and there are decently long waits depending on when you go, but hey, it's a popular amusement park. What would you expect? Been going since I was a little kid and have always loved it, and the Twister II is such a nice touch and so amazing to ride.

Kacee Larson

Fun place! It was clean and had the smell of sugar constantly flowing through the air. Some rides were down and some lines took over 30 min to get through, but that's amusement parks for ya.

Joshua Farrington

Tons of fun! Love all of the rides here so much. Pretty expensive, especially if you're gonna get food there.

John Witt

Great rides, cool Halloween creepies walking around and short lines if you go in the fall!

Angelica Turrieta

Family vacation destination 2019. Our family had a blast- we spent a whole day enjoying rides, food, and great amenities. We arrived 1045 am Saturday morning and left at 8 pm drain drained from such a beautiful day. A must for families!

Ti Almeyda

Amazing!! So fun...Have rides for all ages...also a few water rides and water park too...gosh what a blast...the only thing I have to add is to bring your own water bottles to fill at the water fountains...or if buying a water bottle for $4 is your thing then awesome. Worth a trip once, but probably never again. Pro tips: - Spring for the Rapid Ride pass. It's an extra $40, but it's totally worth it to skip multiple hours of standing in line. - The Meow Wolf Ride is, regrettably, a disappointment. I loved Meow Wolf in Santa Fe, but you just can't distill that experience into a 3 minute amusement park ride. - Don't eat inside the park, the food is way overpriced. You can always leave for lunch and come back later. Bring a picnic. - In the parking lot, park under the bridge. The shade is nice in the summer, and there are some nice picnic benches you can use. - The water park closes much earlier than the rest of the park, so be sure to hit that in the afternoon. You can rent a locker and keep it for the whole day.

Mr Rowk

We went early with the idea that we could beat most of the crowd. We accomplished this, only to discover that many rides were not open at 10 because they were still getting started for the day. I want the rides to be safe and tested. I just think that should be done before the doors open to customers

Night Stalker

Super fun and Great place to hang out and have fun! Food all over the facilities and rides for all ages. The have shows too and their staff is great! Sometimes the lines are a little insane but off season it's not a bad deal at all... Getting the season passes is definitely the way to go!!!

Placidia Chiwita

This place is amazing!!!!. So many fun activities to do, their rides are amazing and the water park is out of this world. They are all spaced close together so you don't have to walk a long distance from one ride to another. I loved the variety and the thrill. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I totally recommend it. I suggest you spend the whole day there because there is a lot of fun things to choose from

Justin Skaggs

This place was CRAZY! The rides were so impressive and fun. The staff was so quirky and helpful. The food was definitely above the average theme park plate of fries. Some rides were closed, but that just means that they keep up on safety, and there were plenty more rides to enjoy! Will visit again!

Clare Dawson

Fun for the whole family. The water in the water park is pretty frigid, but on HOT days it feels great! High prices for food & drinks.

Kaleb M

The place needs a redo. The rides are great and while it's no universal there are some great thrills. The only updated ride is the Mind Eraser. It's a fun ride but the wait is always long. Some of the other rides like the Boomerang and the Brain Drain are amazing rides but could use a fresh coat of paint. The whole place needs a good power washing and renovation. It is still a great place for a day in the sun.

Dustin The explorer

The fries are yummy. Rides are fun. I just wish there was a pass where you could go in just to watch your kids and not ride any rides.

Christian Faith Parker

Nothing special about Elitch Gardens at all. Rides are few and nothing unique. Shops all cater to generic Denver tourist merchandise. The food has improved marginally in the last few years, but is still just partial menus at fast food restaurants at triple the price.

Leandrita Ortega

Decent amusement park in downtown Denver. My teens enjoyed a number of thrill rides but not very much for the adults to do while they rode. Parks like Silver Dollar City in Branson are better suited for a multi-generational crowd. Buy your tickets online for the best price!

Kevin Michael Vreeken

Elitch gardens is so fun! I love the water park! If you are going with kids. It’s best if they are 48” + Tall or either side of the park is just not worth it. Most all rides are needing riders to be over 48” & if you are buying online. Skip the food vouchers it’s a rip off. Would have spent less if I would have just ordered what I wanted while there!

Matthew Klasinski

Nice family fun. Great atmosphere. Fun rides.

Heather Shepard

So much fun! Get the fast pass $40 but you can skip all the long lines! Totally worth it. Great place for a family or just couples to have a great day! Lots to do.

Jonathan Malaterre

I took the family there just the other day to Enjoy ourselves for a few hours before our flight back home. The waterpark was absolutely cold from the wave pool to the river and slides The air temperature outside 95° and the water felt like 50 some degrees it was bone chilling we didn’t enjoy ourselves one bit and we spent several hundred dollars for nothing very disappointed. I’ve been to several water parks in the USA but this one by far is the coldest ever. The only thing that was warm besides the outside temperature was the showers in the bath houses they were warm. When we were in the river and the wave pool we could even hear grown-ups and kids complaining about the temperature of the water.

Luis Negrete

Great fun and excellent value! Season passes are a no-brained at Elitch Gardens if you live locally. The park is kept clean, though I wish there was a little more shade (it gets very hot in the summer). The ride attendants are generally friendly and often pretty funny, which is appreciated. The entrance staff is polite too. There’s also a good variety of rides; however, they’re occasionally understaffed, so some of my personal favorites are closed. Overall, you can’t go wrong with Elitch Gardens!

Tim Guzzo

Went to Elitch gardens on a Tuesday and the park was practically empty! Lines were very short and all of the staff was very friendly! I think the longest wait I had was 20 minutes for the mind eraser! Kids had a blast and for $40 to spend the day at a theme park and water park is a steal!!!! My son left his shoes in a dressing room In The surf shop after closing we realized it and the staff was more than willing to open it back up for us to get them! Theme park rides are a little dated, but not terrible! And the water park was great! Only complaint from me would be the food prices! Spent over $75 for 4 at a Panda Express! Overall great k!

Brandon Ahlberg

Great place for the whole family. Really wish the hours and days they were open were a little bit more of an everyday thing rather than certain hours on certain days, but it's still a blast to have fun all summer into the fall.

Madilyn Swan

Me and my mom and my aunt, cousin went there we got season passes what I love about the park is the rides of course they are family friendly and also the food there is great I had a wonderful time since we got season passes we could get water for free so that was one of the amazing points. What I don't like about the park is the water park BC it doesn't have that many family rides that everybody can go on it has mostly single tub or individual tube. But besides that it's so awesome and great will be returning soon.

Kayla Cooper

Awesome rides! I always love coming here but the staff could be friendlier. Seems more about money than customer experience. Still fun though!

H Dsen

Season pass is more than worth it, buy it every year for $60-70. Try to get it early when it's on sale, generally around the end of the previous year. Can use it to get much cheaper tickets for friends and family. Includes free parking. Great selection of rides and way better than any local fair. Always double check the calendar for hours especially since the water park side has different hours than the main area. To save on expenses, bring empty water bottles to fill at the water fountain. Keep a cooler in the car with snacks to take a lunch break or tailgate. Definitely arrive early for waterpark lounge chairs and closer parking. The locker is overpriced at over ten dollars but worth it to keep your possessions. Be careful about what kind of shoes you bring for what rides you're going on, can't often wear flip flops. I prefer water shoes. Don't forget your hat, sunscreen, umbrella, e.t.c! Reapply most sunscreens every two hours. Sunburns happen fast at this elevation. Would like to see this place open a few extra days after school starts during the weekdays. Would like to see more water fountains in lines especially after seeing a few people pass out in the heat.

Ben Kilby

Actually a pretty fun park. Has some great rides. I'm from FL and have spent my fair share of time at Disney and other parks. If you've never been you like roller coasters you'll like the rides here.

Kimberly Farris

There is always a wait to get in, I was here last weekend and after paying the $20 parking fee I had someone break into my car and steal from me!!! The parking lot is owned by Lockheed and Martin and is.nit.liable.for personal property. My co worker who was also here had his car broken into too. I recommend riding the light rail and going during the week so you don't have to worry about your stuff and long 1hr 45 min lines because someone puked on a ride.

Gabriel Wynn

It was quite a lovely experience! Lines moved quickly and there was always a consessions stand nearby. Was quite disappointed when a woman in front of us with a prosthetic leg was denied getting on a ride. (After waiting in the line for 30 minutes) Very disappointed! Otherwise our trip was decent :)

Jennifer Smith

Holly who organizes the events is so very amazing I got to meet her while standing in line at a ride. She's passionate about her work. Elitches is great for the kids and adults

Nade Mchale

It has been a while since I been. I remember when they had free parking. No detectors at the entrance. But...still fun. Place was clean. Staff is friendly. Can't wait to see what will happen when they move locations in the future.

Jennifer Adee

Cabana is the only way to go when visiting. The staff is amazing. It was our first time and we had the best time. We used our new season pass. You will see us soon.

Olivia Kumkowski

This was the biggest waste of money. My boyfriend purchased the tickets on Saturday, we went Sunday. Not realizing that almost every ride was closed even before the rain came. There were maybe 5 that ran. My small town park was half the price and ten times better. Do not waste your money that they will not refund you.

Larissa Cleveland

Fun place for the whole family! I love the area for toddlers. My little one spent the whole day there.

WolfCraftPlayz

Had a very fun experience here great time and money well spent a few of the rides were out of order and the food was pretty pricey though

Alaina!!! NEWlin!!!

Really fun ! Not good for kids at all after six o clock though. There are supposed to be "terrortories" and the creepy clowns and chainsaw monsters are supposed to stay in a certain area, but instead they wandered the whole park. When we went it was short staffed and lines took forever . But what can you expect from an amusement park? Anyway super fun place, just sometimes a little too scary too early in the day

Chad Beraud

Pretty decent rides. Large pavilions reserved for groups are nice. Prices are what you'd expect for an amusement park, way more than anywhere else (see $4 for a bottle of water) Must ride the wooden coaster, it's the best one in the park

David Lane

Fun rides. Staff was very cordial, but I was surprised by their conservation of cups. Maybe it is just a Texas/ southern hospitality thing where they will actually give you a drink of ice water when it is almost 100 degrees. The park seemed to get really crowded after the water park closed. Of course, this is also about the time they start closing other rides for no apparent reason making the situation worse.

Isa Alexander

Wished the war park was open, but summers over. However the accessible area and rides were awesome. Plenty to keep kids and adults occupied. The wait time for rides was between 15 to 30 minutes, which isn't to bad.

Jason Stubbs

It's fun and not super crowded. Decent rides and kiddie rides for my kids.

Dominique Jones

Upon arrival, my uncle had to pay around $60 total for our tickets. I thought it was ridiculous because the last time I visited, it was like $25 a ticket. When we got there, we hardly got on any rides due to the heavy rain. When it stopped we STILL couldn’t get on the rides due to the lighting. But they would nice to give us a free ticket the next time we go!

Jay Breitlow

I want to love it but the water is soooo cold. How can I be cold when it’s 98 outside. Perhaps they had an off day but I won’t come back for the water rides

Norraine Thurmond

Good amusement park! Food is not good and expensive but you can always leave and come back. Very family friendly!

Annette Eddington

Nice place to work and play. Parks are real clean. Environment is laid back. Good for an amusement park. Nice people to work with

Cody Kizer

Good environment, fun times, long wait times for the rides but still a fun place. Recommend spending the extra $40-60 for the rapid ride pass makes riding the rides way better tho it's only for 10 rides unlimited times tho. Food and beverages can be expensive so maybe pack a cooler and go to your car for lunch.

Rick Nava

It's a pretty clean amusement park. All the staff if is generally helpful and friendly. The food and drink prices are typical for amusement parks, nothing too astronomical. The biggest complaints are that on average about 3-4 big rides are always down including some of the water park slides. There were also multiple delays with different rides while waiting in line. I'm not including any weather related shutdowns, those are expected in Denver. The overall experience is fun for the family but aggravating at times when faced with long wait times for busted rides.

Mandy S

Great family experience. Would recommend you make it an all day event that includes the water park. Take a lunch as well. You can leave it in your car, take a break go out to eat and go right back in to enjoy the rest if the park. Food is expensive inside. We go at least once a year.

Nick NIjkamp

A very nice amusement park. There is a water side and a coaster side, you can go back and forth between the two all day. They are both fun, and the water is nice on a hot day. The coasters do have a couple water rides if you need a quick splash. There are a lot of rides, but it does get busy on a nice day.

Tiffiny Williams

It’s a good park. Even on a really busy day you won’t have to wait in line for more than like 20-30 mins. The way they have water park connected to theme park is very small because it helps balance the people to attractions ratio. I do with they didn’t charge extra for the super awesome rides. All rides should be included for your admission.

Jennifer Montoya

Great place to hang out for the day! My family had a great time in the water park. It was so cool to see the Meow Wolf ride.

Angelica Turrieta

Family vacation destination 2019. Our family had a blast- we spent a whole day enjoying rides, food, and great amenities. We arrived 1045 am Saturday morning and left at 8 pm drain drained from such a beautiful day. A must for families!

Alexis Geary

Had a great time with my family. Didn't have to wait to long for any ride. Even had time for the water park which was great on a hot day to cool off. All and all we will be sleeping great tonight. Thanks for the thrill ride.

David Pratt

Not cheap, but feels so cheap. Half of everything is always broken or closed. They were out of any decent beers. It's just sad. Not like when I was a kid at all.

Steven Koehn

I visit Elitch Gardens almost every summer with my family of seven. We usually go for two or three days. The way the price structure is set up it turns out to be cheaper for us to buy a couple season passes (which come with 2 bring a friend passes each). We usually start the morning out by going to the water park side which have a good selection of activities and rides for all ages. Our family favorites are the lazy river and the wave pool. In the afternoon we head over to the food court for lunch then hit the rollercoasters with the older kids and the kid section with the younger ones. The park is in a good location downtown and it's also close to the downtown aquarium. The reason for the 3 star rating is because in the past I have raised a safety concern that almost killed my daughter and it goes unchanged. I also lost a pair of prescription sunglasses and they were unhelpful finding them.

Anna Kemptar

Great park for the whole family! My kids (13 & 10) had an absolute blast! The slides are fun and varied, the wave pool wasn't over crowded, lots of shady seating. Be prepared for $20 parking, $10 meals for lunch, and $12 locker rentals, but that's to be expected in any amusement park. We didn't even make it to the carnival rides! So much fun to be had!

Michael Hollis

This park is small. No big thrills but it's a good way to waste a day. It was a bit rundown and old. Staff were friendly and food was good.

Brianna Roberts

Lots of different things to do like magic shows 4 times a day and concerts. Has a cute feel about it that makes just walking around and experience the beauty of this place. Has a lot of rides to try as well. This place was remarkable.

Michael W

Visit on a week day. We never waited more than 10-15 minutes for a ride. Either bring a picnic lunch or be prepared to spend $80 on $20 worth of food (at best). Bring an empty water bottle and fill it at the drinking fountains. We had a fun experience, but there was some sticker shock at the food and admission prices.

Janelle Slegl

Really expensive. You have to pay $20 for parking, even with a season pass, can't bring outside food, and their food is super expensive. Not terribly impressed with the amount of money the whole experience cost.

Dariane Prigmore

The park experience was amazing... Everyone had a great time! We rode rides & went into the water park after lunch in the parking-lot. On the down side... It took over an hour to get out of the parking-lot on a Thursday late afternoon. The "one way out" needs to be changed.

Tyler Collins

Had a fun time here! Not too pricey, great location. Parking is paid, but wasn't that surpsied, it is still technically downtown after all. The burger restaurant there had great food, if it was a little dingy. Great experience overall thiugh.

Ellie Peters

I go there every summer it's a lot of fun for younger kids and adults. Better than water world in the sense that it has both rollercoasters and water rides. They also have a pool and food. Very similar to six flags and is like a not Disney-themed Disney Land.

Hannah Combs King

My family is native to Colorado and we've been coming to this park for years! My siblings and I get together every summer for hours of rides and fun. (This shot is our latest trip) We love it there and always have a blast. I would recommend Elitch's to just about anyone, young and old!

Andy Costello

Their season pass has so many restrictions on the bring a friend and other "benefit" aspects. We're completely irked with the fine print that it is highly unlikely we return. The water is freezing cold and the roller coasters are meh.

Shay Holmes

The park itself is fun and a great place to take kids. I usually try to take my 2 boys at least once a year. I took 2 stars off because the food is horrible!! They have the movie theater mentality, overcharge you because you can't bring your own food in and the food quality is comparable to county jails(I've seen Locked Up). They try to church it up with multiple places to choose from, but in the end, it's all the same. I bought 3 personal pizzas and 3 fountain drinks and it was around $60. First, by far the worse pizza I've had. It looked like something I would make at 2am after a hard night of "working". Totinos .99 cent pizza puts this garbage to shame. I'm half tempted to go back and get another one just so I can take a picture of this trash they call pizza, but I would rather hold onto my $20. Second, they didn't have basic things like napkins and ICE. Third, I tried to forget about what I just made myself eat by drinking a Blue Moon. They literally grabbed it off an outside shelf. Nothing better than 80 degree Blue Moon on a hot summer day. Like I said, the park itself is great, but I would plan on leaving for lunch AND smuggling in a flask.

Trevor Crane

My kids, myself, and everyone we bring always has a blast at Elitch's. The rides are fun and the lines move fast. Great price for season passes and delicious food. What's not to love?!

Tierra Andrews

Overall a great time. Great place for family and people with different experiences with rides. Fright fest is super spooky

Reelak Zin

very nice park, easy access to parking. family friendly, decent food and good rides. expect to spend some money as with any other amusement park. stay away from the games of chance...pretty much 0% chance of winning anything... better to buy your prizes at the store.

Max Q

I'm sad the park is coming to an end in a couple years. the season pass is a decent deal (if you live closer than I do). I am going a few more times for memory sakes. Food is as expected for a theme park, I have the season pass meal plan so its good. Thanks elitches you had a good ride!

Brittany Stasio

We spent the day here today and didn't even come close to doing everything there is to do! We had a lot of fun, they have so many rides and different things to do that anybody could have a good time here! There's a great kids area, a water park, your regular thrilling rides, and a great game area!

Carlos Munoz

Great amusement park. Uses to be a lot better back when it was six flags. But it's still the same rides. Great discounts for season pass holders on tickets for buddies and if you spend the extra cash on the better season pass you can get free food every visit! I feel like it's time for some new rides tho!

DuMaFX /duartero

A little pricey but worth the money specially since you can do the waterpark as well. If its cloudy out then its the perfect time to go, wait time for the rides was less than 5 minutes! Fun time overall

Many remarks get made towards us having rapid passes. Something needs to separate rapid pass members until the front of the ride. Overall fantastic experience. Parking costs unreasonable. Will visit again soon.

Elitch Gardens in downtown Denver Colorado is a great place to visit if your looking for a day of fun. This amusement park has rollercoasters 3 to 4, as well as multiple other rides, the water park side has a lazy rive and 6 or 7 water slides. I would get here early if you plan to visit because it is hard to fit all the rides into one day. Parking is $20 unless you buy a season pass early. I highly recommend buying a season pass, early, if you plan to visit the park, each pass comes with free parking and two bring a friend for free passes.

Jennifer O'Steen

It's small but we always have a good time. Water park and thrill rides. Something for everyone. Food...funnel cakes, fries, Turkey legs, pretzels, even Panda Express. Get a reusable cup and get refills of soda for 99c or beer for $4.

I am visiting family from California. I do have to say I am not impressed with maintenance and keeping the park clean. I fell at the wave pool from slipping on the concrete beach. I banged myself up pretty good. I hit my head and scraped up my arm. First aid did come to me to check me out. 30 minutes later a little girl slipped in the same place. The concrete is painted but no skid protection to prevent this. As for cleanliness tabled are dirty and one table had profanity etched in it. Food is on the ground in eating areas. Also bought the refillable cups and they ran out of ice later in the day. It is a fun place but safety and cleanliness should be priority. Sorry Elitch but you need to step up your game. Many have posted about these kind of complaints.

Today was incredible! The lines weren't very long at all and there was as something fun for all ages! I had the time of my life at Elitches and can't wait to go back!!

mrPsychonaut8

Good time, fair prices, but most the staff seemed annoyed by me. I know you probably don't want to be there and that's fine but you're coming off as rude. And there was a few times I went to sit down at a dinning area and none of the table have been wiped down

Phin Yeee

Lots of different things to do like magic shows 4 times a day and concerts. Has a cute feel about it that makes just walking around fun. If you are going more then once the season pass is worth it. If you are going more then once a week then the food pass is also a good deal.

Elitch Gardens is a nice place to go for some fun and excitement for the day, because the roller coasters, falling tower, and high swings are amazing even if you're scared of heights, because after you get of them you'll be glad you did it. There is also a Ferris Wheel and Carousel to wind down on whenever you start feeling dizzy! The only thing that gets me is the high prices for everything except if you go online for passes, but like the saying goes, "you can't put a price on fun".

Crystal Holley

Edit... had a bit of a not so great experience. The manager contacted me directly and made everything right. I'm willing to give it a second chance and try again. Don't miss out and misjudge a place on a few bad experiences, there are still good people in the world willing to make things right.

J.J. M

Elitch Gardens is a staple of Denver CO. Prices are high but the rides are fun and the employees do they're jobs with a smile. The rides are maintained well and the lines while long are as efficient as you can expect

T Griff

I've been here twice this year, both times it rained and they shut down rides due to wind or lightning, not their fault but they don't communicate to everyone waiting in line what's going on. The park is a bit run down but still fun, watch you change with food vendors, I'm not sure why but was short change 4 separate times.

kara lente

Lots of Fun. Water park is always packed but if you cam find some chairs your good. Rides are pretty cool too.

Z Wil

Really fun park but a bit overpriced. There were two or three rollercoasters that weren't running for the day and we had an issue with a locker not working properly. It was still a blast and we enjoyed lots of rides and the water park, but just wouldn't be able to go very often given the added costs like tube rentals and parking.

Suly Bolanos

A season pass is a steal!! The rides are exhilarating and the lines move quickly (I went on a Tuesday) Staff is courteous and genuinely care about your safety and the safety of others in the park. I love the flowers, music and the fun rides of course!

Kevin Crum

What a great place to ride coasters and cool off at the water park. They've got just about everything when it comes to water parks and amusement parks and it's all located smack dab in Denver. It's too bad their moving it.

Adil Abdulrafi

What a great experience. I went on a weekday and it was absolutely perfect. Coming from Ohio and cedar point it does seem quite small, but the short lines and amazing water park made this park quite the treat! I can't wait to come back! Great little date place!

J Jackson

Water should be free and easily accessible. When pool thermometer reads 103° it's not ok to charge $4 for water. Fountains are few and really hard to find. You are not allowed to bring water in. With the high food and drink prices, it should be a much nicer place.

ianiscool123

This park is very nice. The best tine to go is about Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. 1 visit costs 40 dollars but you can save lots of money if you get the unlimited pass. Lots of good rides here but sometimes the rides are broken.

Page Dearborn

Brought our team there after tournament ; Cabana we rented for adults was filthy had to ask for the bird poop to be removed from tables and chairs, server was lovely but we didn't see her more than three times - area was under staffed and out of menu requests. Rides and water slides were fun. Lazy river was a nice float

Bobby kantz

We had a great time!!! The wait time for the rides was not bad. When we got to hit we went to the water park to cool off! They have enough stuff to keep one entertain all day.

Delilah Ramirez

There is so much to do, for all ages. And if you want to get wet the water park is so much fun! It's a good place to spend the day with your family.

Elvis Colucci

We enjoyed a lot! It is more than I expected. I am so sorry because they are going to close the park next year 2020 to build a building. It is going to be a big lost for Denver! I wonder if management is planning to relocate the park somewhere else and when. This is a fun full day trip, but be ready to spend a lot if you need food or beverages. You can bring in sealed Gatorade or water. Best bet is to bring in empty water bottles and fill them inside. Outside food is not allowed. You will need sunscreen!

Kimberly LaFaver

Trip down memory lane. Worked here as a teen. 2.55 an hour. Wow. Fun day with 2 of my granddaughters. Weekday no lines fun shows!! Water rides were a blast!

Caleb Crowder

Always fun. But I'm 6'7" and a lot of the rides just aren't built for tall people so they can hurt. My son had a ton of fun though.

Natalie Lilly Travels

Great place for fun and entertainment for everyone.... I love the fact you get 2 parks in 1 and so making this an all day adventure is worth it.

Zander Cotromanes

Insane amusement park, tons of rides that were intense and pretty long. Wait times in lines weren't bad and the waterpark was top notch. 10/10 Would and will go again

Amanda Wood

Let me start with thank you so much for doing a sensory morning. Our son is on the autsim spectrum and let me just say ... Wow !! Our first time together and it was by far the best day . The staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity..

Christopher Fugate

I loved it! Rides were safe and regularly tested and inspected. The staff was also super cool. There were a couple grumpy ones but I get that when you work so much. Also a suggestion: Buy your tickets online cause you will get them discounted on Elitch site.

Alec DiAstra

This place is pretty small but it's fun. I highly recommend renting a cabana

Isa Nunez

I tried calling 19 times to ask a question about friend passes and birthday parties on a Saturday in October and the 19 times I was unable to speak with someone, either because they wouldn't pick up the phone, or because they would hang up on me without saying hello or letting me talk. Elitch Gardens doesn’t know what customer service means, and this applies for all park employees. It’s a shame because I love supporting our local park but next year we’ll just get the Water World Pass.

Kira Boyle

A fun theme park! We come as siblings every year or so. Is it as good as an Eliches in Texas or somewhere else? No. Do you have to fly to another state to get there if you're a resident? Also no. The location is convenient, the park is clean, and we always have a good time. But the tickets online, as they tend to be cheaper that way. Turkey legs still are the best priced food items in the park, and very tasty. Be advised that in the summer, there tend to be afternoon/evening showers, which can affect the availability of some of the rides, so get there early, hit up the best coasters first, then keep going. I will complain that prices keep going up. Both the entry prices, food prices, and additional ride (xlr8r and the slingshot) prices. Also, the so-called friend tickets only work in easily June or late September, so if you get a season pass, be aware that you can't use it for the best part of the summer!

luke keene

always fun but is kinda downhill now especially in the last couple years. cleanliness i would give a c employee respect decency and attentiveness i would give a D.

Chloe Taylor

I have a season pass, so I go all the time and I have always had a great experience. The food is great but the service is here and there, but most of the time it's great. I have had one bad experience with the food when I was given a frozen turkey leg, but other than that great experiences!

Thomas Walsh

Great rides and not as bad lines as I thought. Plenty to do for riders over 48 inches, but may want to wait next year to those 46 inch kids that are so close for the price. If you get the kids club for your 5 year old make sure you activate it by June 11th or you will have to pay full price for a kid that can't ride much.

alan blount

Fun rides and water park. Food costs too much and parking does as well, but a season pass is a good deal and the kids are happy and tired. Some rides are not running all the time. Still, it's a great place to go for a day.

Harrison426

Young kids had a fun time but I thought it was a pretty bad experience. It's not cheap to get in for a family and a bunch of rides were closed bc "school started" at the beginning of Aug... Well then charge less if all the rides aren't open. Overall it seems pretty run down, needs an update.

EDUARDO LUEVANO

Buy season pass. It’s a great deal if you live within an hour drive. Food specials are good too.

Alison Witiak

2.5 stars. My teenagers went and while they were there several rides they were waiting in line for closed down. According to my daughter they were all the ‘good’ rides. No compensation was given for the closures - at the amusement park we usually go to if they close a ride when you are in line they will give you a one time use fast pass to use on another ride. Food was expensive, water fountains were hard to find.

Russell B

Always my favorite theme park since i was a kid! I grew up loving the wave pool and all coasters!

Beth Hale

I enjoy coming here and having a good time except the lines were so long. Coming in the late afternoon was always packed. The food is pricey but overall the seaon pass is the best way to go. I hope to purchase a season pass next year in 2020.

Erica

There were quite a few rides that were out of commission when we visited the park. The food is very good and affordable, however, the staff was rude and unprofessional. It’s very obvious that they are unhappy with their jobs and make zero effort to hide that from the customers. Customer service really does go a long way. For the amount you pay to enter the park, it would be nice to treated with respect by all employees.

Javier Millan

Really like this place. Its just way to packed and a few of the great rides are closed at random times.

Jennifer Morrison

Some long lines but the rides were fun. Decent prices on souvenirs and the food is a little pricey but not ridiculous. We had a nice time.

Elt W

To old for the slingshot but just right for the Ferris Wheel, really enjoyed myself. Can't wait to come back and bring some more folks from Mississippi

Nick westwood

Fantastic fun park, staff are friendly and personable. Rides are fun for a range of ages too.

Jacobus Kilos

We felt pretty robbed after our visit, paid almost $100 online for 2 “after 5” tickets and got to the park around 5:30. They were closing the water attractions which the page said nothing about, and we paid $20......for free parking. And for a place that charges $4 a bottle for water you’d expect them to take care of the place a bit better than they do. We will probably aim our time and money at safer parks that offer more to the guest, half the rides weren’t working and the employees seemed miserable, we enjoyed our visit together but won’t be returning.

Idk speer

I've been going here for years I live an hour away but every summer my family gets the season passes and usually it's a great time but the process just keep going up and the quality goes down the park was very un clean and the staff was extremely rude to my family. Probably won't be going back next summer :(

Kt Smiley

Fright Fest is the best time of year at Elitch Gardens. The lines are not very long. The temperature is perfect. Plus the amount of spook is up there.

Corey Aguero

Very fun place for the summer. If you get the season pass with food it's totally worth it. I've gone like 20 times this summer had food rode some rides got in the pool to cool off and all for about 100 bucks. With the food alone it's a steal. Loved the rides, only thing is, I was expecting more from the meow wolf ride but all in all still trippy.

Adrian M

Great place to come have FUN!!!! Make sure you get your season pass ASAP! Great value. Food and drinks are expensive. SUNSCREEN/WATER!!!! Great location!

Sonya Hernandez

Such a great place kids loved it. The water park was amazing! The food is a little over priced I paid $72 on 4 personal pizzas that didn't taste very good and made my son's stomach sick. Definitely coming back for the rides.

Andrew Gomez

Get the rapid pass if you don't go often - it's worth the extra coin. I have broad shoulders and a tall chest so there are several rides I could not get on. And the ones I did fit in gave nice blood bruises on my shoulders. Not many man sized rides available. But, despite it had a good time.

shannon archibald

they am 54 years old and this was the first time I had gone. It was so much fun. I don't like rollercoaster but they had some old school rides too. The water park was a blast different water slides for all ages. The couple things that were not so good ,can not bring in your own food and everything cost an arm and leg also not too many places to cool off from hot sun. However, it still is a great place to visit.

George Skells

A Denver classic. A great summer time spot. Ride rides or cool off in the water park.

Anna Kelbert

Our library had a summer program that provided Elitch gardens tickets to the kids as a prize for reading. Adults still had to pay $30. For the reduced price, this was a very reasonable investment! The kids loved the place. Plenty of entertainment for kids and adults all ages. Most rides are included in the entrance price, although a selected few are not. The lines are unavoidable but they weren't too bad, especially on the Kiddieland rides for the younger ones. Water fountains are rare but available. Food is lacking: overpriced a great deal and no healthy options. Own food not allowed although they let up bring a few snack bars in. For the full price of $60 per person, probably not worth it. Try booking online for a better price. Parking is $20 but there are street parking options very nearby for $1/hr. Very little shade, prepare for a very hot day even in September, bring lots of water.

Laurel Hervert

It was fun but the lines were so long! I wish the fast pass was a bit cheaper. Food was a bit pricey but that was expected ($9 for a pretzel with cheese etc) The rides were a lot of fun! The spider ride should go away the way they load and unload passengers so slowly.

Randy Graville

Better than I expected. Water slides were fun, wave pool would be nice if it were bigger and deeper, coasters were fun. No crazy long lines, very clean. Typical expensive food.

Adam Cook

Had so much fun at the water park with my 7 year old and 5 year old. FYI if you bring a cold cup/ metal water bottle you can have ice in it but no liquid. They will make you dump out the water when you go through security.

Danielle Collins-Gottschalk

Paid nearly $300 for parking, admission, and fast passes, basically 10 of the 15 rides were open, food was disgusting, the people that served the food couldn't keep their hands of their mouths, the cook was eating out of prepared trays with his gloves on! 2 of my 3 favorite rides were taken out! Now I know why it's been 15 years since I was here last!

April Mahan

We had such a great customer service experience today with Alexis. She was helpful, answered our questions, and was so kind the whole time. Thanks to her, our day at Elitches was perfect!
